Chapter Text
Every day he lived in fear, not knowing what was true and what was not. Yet the one person he was unsure of the most, was the Alpha. Barry feared every time he saw Oliver, not knowing whether it was the one he knew, or the Alpha from the other world. He didn’t know whether it was real or all an act, for he wouldn’t put it past Oliver to torture him in such a way. His reaction was always fear when he saw Oliver, and his emotions did not how to react. Yet every time, he saw the hurt in Oliver's eyes every time he shook and withdrew into himself. His body automatically went into a submissive position, only wanting to please the Alpha. He just felt worthless and didn’t know what to do. Barry did not know how long the routine had been going on. The door know twisted, and Barry quickly got off the bed, feeling his body shake as he went into a submissive pose. Tears ran down his face, and he dared not look up, knowing he would be punished if he did.
“Barry.” He knew that voice and his body trembled. It was that of the Alpha who had raped and tortured him. The Alpha that forced him to carry a child, a child that he hasn’t seen since he gave birth. He knew that Oliver was keeping the child hidden, and Barry knew he wouldn’t be allowed to see her unless he was needed. “You’re not there anymore Barry.” He watched as Oliver knelt down in front of him, feeling the Alpha’s hand gently stroke his face. Barry flinched and let a small whimper escape his mouth. “I wish we could’ve found you sooner. I am so sorry that this all happened to you.”
He felt his throat tighten and his heart skip a beat. Barry didn’t know what was going on, and wished that Oliver would simply rape, torture, or something. Barry didn’t know how much more of this psychological torture he could take. “A…Alpha. I…I’m s…sorry I ran.” Barry silently whispered out. He needed to show forgiveness to his Alpha, hoping his Alpha would end this torture. “Please. Please, I’ll do anything you want.” The tears fell faster down his face, and his body shook. He was learning Oliver had a new way to torture him. He wished that Oliver would just go back to how he was, and just torture him. “I’ll never run again!”
“You’re not there anymore Barry.” He heard the hurt in Oliver’s voice, and his body jumped when he felt Oliver’s arm around him. “You’re back home, with friends, with me. We will do all that we can to protect you, I promise.” Barry could hear the hurt in Oliver’s voice, but he knew it was an act. He knew his Alpha would be that cruel and sadistic. “We’re here for you Barry.”
Barry couldn’t hear anything else over the sound of his pounding heart. He’s going to torture me! I can hear it in his voice! His body moved on its own and he was kneeling in front of Oliver. The tears streamed down his face, and fear was consuming him. “Please Alpha.” His voice was barely above of whisper. “I’ll never run again! I’ll be good! Please Alpha! Forgive me!”
Oliver felt anger as he starred down at his friend. He knew Barry was a strong Omega, but he knew something had happened to break him in such a way. He watched as Barry flinched and whimpered out, and Oliver realized it was because of him. “I’m so sorry Barry.” Oliver stood in front of Barry and knelt down, he didn’t know what else to do. He let the tears flow down from his eyes. “We should’ve saved you sooner. We should’ve, no, I should’ve been able to protect you. I should’ve found d you sooner Barry. I’m so sorry for everything. I will never let anything happen to you again.”
The words seemed meaningless to him, and the way the Alpha was acting scares him more than anything. Barry knew this was all a trick, and he knew he deserved it. He ran from his Alpha, he deserved it all, but this was beyond torturous to him. “Alpha.” He forced himself to speak, knowing he needed to accept the punishment. “Do what you want with me, but,” he was hesitant, and he knew Oliver was keeping their daughter from him as punishment, “please. Please after your done. Let .e see our daughter please!” He dares to look up and saw the hurt in Oliver’s eyes, knowing he was the cause of it. Barry knew Oliver would keep Scarlett away as punishment. “Please let me see her again!” He was desperate to see his daughter again.
Oliver hated her couldn't do anything, and knew no one had told Barry his daughter was all on the other Earth. With that bastard! Oliver knew if he could, then he would go back and get Barry’s daughter. “I wish could Barry, believe me I wish I could get her back for you.”
Something snapped in Barry, and it consumed his whole body. “Please! Please let me see Scarlett!” He was desperate and he didn't care, he would do anything the Alpha asked if it meant getting to see his daughter once. “Please! Let me see her!” He began to rip the clothing off he was wearing, to show he was in complete submission to the Alpha. “Do whatever you want to me! Please Alpha! All I want is to see Scarlett again!” He was so desperate to please the Alpha, he did not realize someone had come running into the room. Barry barely felt the prick of a needle in his arm. His only thought which consumed his mind was seeing Scarlett. “Please, please, pl…please…pl.” Barry was consumed by darkness, and his body fell forward.
Oliver made sure he was able to catch Barry and he held the Omega close. Olive let the tears he had been holding back fall. He hated seeing Barry in such a distressed state, knowing it was all his fault. He could hate the other Oliver on the other Earth, but the truth was, it was all his fault. If he hadn’t pushed for Barry to continue the mission, then all the pain, torture, and rape his friend had been forced to endure would’ve been avoided. He held Barry close to his chest. “I’m so sorry Barry. This is all my fault.” Oliver whispered into Barry’s head. He hugged Barry closer, not wanting to hand him to Felicity. “I should’ve said no, I should’ve been wiser. I should’ve protected you better.” All he wanted was to go back in time and prevent everything from happening. “Felicity.” Oliver spoke as he finally let Barry go, to let Felicity get a new outfit on him. “This really is all my fault. I should’ve never pushed him, I should’ve stopped him!” Oliver let his anger take control as he punched a wall. “I hate the way he looks at me. He looks at me with such fear. He thinks I’m going to hurt him.”
“Oliver.” Felicity sternly spoke. “We are all at fault for the way Barry is at the moment.” She began to get new clothes on Barry’s body, with Oliver’s help. “We’re all to blame.” Together they both covered Barry’s body, and bother looked down at Barry. He looked so peaceful when he’s sleeping. “His body is all but healed, tomorrow we start the therapy to try and heal his mind. You know once we begin therapy, you should stay away from Barry for a while.” She pulled a blanket over Barry’s chest, so he would stay warm. “And what I’m about to say next, don’t take it the wrong way. You have to control your scent, especially when you’re upset or angry. I’ve noticed it effects how Barry reacts, and seems to put him in a place where he still believes he is trapped on the other Earth.”
Oliver wanted to get angry at Felicity, wanted to shout he was not like the Alpha on the other Earth, wanted to shout he would never harm Barry, but protect him, and yet it all died on his lips. He knew Felicity was right, and he had seen it with certain movements Barry made around him. His scent, his scent specifically when he was angry, scared Barry and was not conducive for his recovery. Yet Oliver did not know if he could honestly control his anger, fir he held so much guilt over what Barry has been through, and subconsciously, he held anger towards Barry. He was jealous Barry had been claimed by another, jealous another version of him had gotten Barry pregnant, but worse of all, he was jealous of Barry for seeming so attached to the other Oliver. I shouldn’t be angry at him, only at myself. I can’t control how my Alpha side is. I should’ve claimed him when I had the chance. Maybe then I could’ve protected him. He saw Felicity was staring at him, and through his thoughts, he heard Barry whimpering, and he knew his scent was affecting Barry. “I’m sorry.” It was all he could say. He knew if he spoke more, his anger would over whelm him, which was something he could not afford to happen. “How long will the sedative last?”
“It should last the whole night, why are you asking?” Felicity asked. She looked at Oliver, and was pretty sure she knew what he was going to ask. “I do not think it would be wise of you Oliver.”
“I won’t stay all night, just most of it.” Oliver softly spoke. He was breathing to control his anger, mostly because a mere Beta was telling him what to do. “I’ll be gone before he wakes. And it will be the last time I see him, at least until his therapy thinks it would be wise for us to start talking once again.” I can’t believe I’m begging a Beta to let me be near what is supposed to be mine! Oliver shook his head, not believing he just thought in such a way. He could tell his Alpha nature was trying to show dominance, and he would not be denied what he believed was his. He breathed again, calming all his emotions down. “Please Felicity. This will be the last time I will see him until therapy decides he can handle the differences of this world and the other Earth.”
Felicity looked at him, and then Barry, knowing Oliver wasn’t wrong. “I have no issues.” Felicity carefully spoke. “The best course to follow would be to leave before he wakes. It will be better for his mental healing if you’re not here. We can’t risk anything that will damage his mental state, more than it already is.” She smelled the air, and could tell Oliver was getting mad. She listened as Barry was whimpering in his sleep. “If you can’t control yourself now, then you can’t be here. Your scent, because you’re getting pissy right now, is already scaring him. Oliver. Make your choice now.”
Oliver took a deep breath, knowing if he wanted to stay, he would need to calm down. He sat in the chair in the corner of the room. His mind was racing, but he had to calm down. He needed to be in the room with Barry. “I’m calming down. I promise to be out before he wakes.” He looked at Felicity, and swore he felt tears running down his face. “Please Felicity. All I’m asking is just one more night to spend with him. I promise I will not see him again until he’s in a better mental state. Please.”
“As long as you’re out before he wakes.” Felicity stated. She turned around and left the room.
Oliver wiped his face, not believing he had been crying. He stood from the chair and paced back and forth. This is all my fault! His mind screamed. Oliver paused his pacing and looked at Barry’s sleeping body. He watched as the Omega’s chest slowly rose and fell with each breath. More tears fell from his eyes, and he continued to wipe them away. “I’m so sorry Barry this is all my fault.” He repositioned the chair, and just stared at Barry. “I’m so sorry I couldn’t protect you. I’m sorry that I put you all through this. I…I should’ve,” he had to pause and wipe his eyes once again. Oliver couldn’t believe he was an Alpha, but he was letting his emotions control him like an Omega. “I should’ve stood up for you. I should’ve spoken up after you told me what happened before. I should’ve done more. More to protect you, more to find you. I should’ve bonded with you. I should’ve made it impossible for another to take you. I should’ve been a better Alpha.” Oliver cupped his face in his hands, and just let the tears fall. Everything he had been told that happened to Barry tore him apart. Yet the worse part was knowing Barry had been forced to get pregnant and have a child. Not only that, but all the abuse Barry had endured, he didn’t think Barry would ever go back to the way he use to be. “I’m so sorry Barry. Please, please when you can, forgive me. I was an unworthy Alpha who couldn’t protect something precious to him.”
All Oliver could do was sit in the chair, and cry. He was an Alpha, but he was an Alpha who failed to protect an Omega dear to him. In truth, he would understand if Barry never forgave him. After all, he was the one who forced Barry to continue the mission, who promised Barry nothing would happen to him, and everything he promised would not happen, happened. I will protect you from now on, I promise Barry. Oliver let the thought consume him, as he felt his eye lids getting heavy, and soon darkness took him.
If he was dreaming, he couldn’t tell, but there was a sound coming from the darkness. Oliver couldn’t place it, but it sounded like a whimper. He heard other sounds, but the loudest sound was the whimpering. What could be making…Barry! Oliver’s eyes shot opened and the sight he awoke to filled him with fury. He saw someone, in a Green Hood, standing over Barry, and Barry whimpering and crying out. “Get the fuck away from him!” Oliver was out of the chair and jumping at the form without a second thought. He prayed he was dreaming, but he knew deep down he wasn’t dreaming. It was only a few steps to Barry, but to Oliver, it felt as though it was a mile. Oliver was upon the form. “Get the fuck away from him!” He pulled the figure away and tossed the figure to the other side. Oliver froze for a second, for as the figure stood, he could tell it was the other Oliver from the other Earth. “You’re not fucking taking him!”
“The bitch is mine.” The other Oliver hissed out. Oliver’s skim crawled with how similar their voices sounded. “Our daughter misses her mother terribly. I’ve simply come to take him back.”
“I won’t let you have him!” Oliver shouted back. He glanced at Barry and could see a strange device around his neck, his wrists and mouth secured with tape, and rage engulfed him. “I’ll kill you, you bastard!”
Oliver charged the other Oliver and both came to blows. Oliver thought he could fight the other Alpha, but it was like fighting his shadow. Each hit was countered and returned, and both Oliver’s were touring the other around the room. Why hadn't anyone else come rushing in? Oliver knew it was risky to think about something else during the fight, but it was odd no one had come bursting through the doors yet. The distraction of the thought, it caused the other Oliver to have him in a strange hold. If Oliver’s adrenaline want so high, he may have felt the prick of a needle. Oliver threw the other Oliver over his back and onto the floor. Oliver stumbled slightly backwards and charged the other Alpha. His movements were slowed, and he couldn't stop himself from being thrown over a table, hitting his head between the closet door frame and the floor. He tried to stand, but his body fell back to the ground. Oliver's eyes watched as the other Oliver went back to the bed and picked Barry off the bed. Oliver couldn't believe it was happening again. “Please, don't.” He reached out towards Barry, watching as the Omega was thrown over the Alpha’s shoulder, and Oliver could see the fear in Barry’s eyes.
“This bitch is mine.” The other Oliver spoke. Oliver was trying to force himself forward, but whatever was done to him, was taken affect quickly. Not again! Oliver felt darkness take him, and the last vision he saw was Barry’s pleading eyes. Darkness took him, and he swore he would get Barry back.
