Chapter Text

"Hi, my name is Emma Willis and welcome to the show where anybody can be anybody" as Emma is speaking the camera cuts to slow motion shots of different people walking down the hall.

"8 people from different walks of life have been brought to this random building in Metropolis to play the game of being liked by random people on the Internet, now how about we get this show on the road and meet our first contestant, also warning to headphone users" once Emma finishes the camera cuts to show a tall blonde woman walking into the room, she's dressed in a nice cardigan and some well fitting dress pants, she looks without moving for a second and then just screams like a dog whistle and starts running around the flat. She finally stops when she trips over the rug and faceplants the hardwood floor. 

"Wait where did production find a human golden retriever, anyway let's meet this...interesting person"

The camera cuts to show the blonde woman siting in a circle laughing "ok ok let's try this again" the camera cuts to her sitting normally.

"Hi, I'm Kara Danvers. I'm 24 from National City and I'm a Reporter for CatCo Worldwide Media" again the camera cuts to show her dancing around the studio.

"I like to think I'm fun, I always want to make sure everyone is having fun and is safe. Oh yeah I'm also kind of clumsy, my big sister Alex always says that she's surprised that I've managed to live to 24 with how clumsy I am and how much food I try to stuff into my mouth." She brings her hand up like she's going to whisper "which for the record is like 5 slices of pizza and 3 potstickers" the camera cuts to show all the times she fell over while filming this intro

"I'm going to be playing as myself because I want to show Alex that you can be yourself on social media and be honest, she always thinks that everyone is lying on social media, I'm going to prove her wrong" the camera cuts back to the flat to show her jumping on the bed

"Seriously how can someone be that adorable? Anyway let's see our next person

The camera cuts to show a redhead dressed in a leather jacket, some fitting jeans and biker boots. She takes a quick look around the room and then starts marking where all the cameras are with post it notes

"well someone's a bit paranoid"

The camera cuts to show the redhead in the same place Kara was "Um Hi, I'm Alex and I'm 29 from National City-" the video pauses

"Hold on. Alex, From National City"

the video then does a rewind effect to show Kara's line from before "my big sister Alex"

"oop we may have some family drama here"

"-And I'm here to prove to my sister that people will always lie online" The camera cuts to show her flicking her motorbike keys and staring down the camera

"I'm not here to win, I'm not here to make friends, I just want to prove my sister wrong-" the camera cuts again and Alex has clearly been told something off camera

"Ok so aparantly I have to tell about myself fine... I work for the FBI, I ride a bike... is that enough... ok cool, so I'm gonna be playing as my friend Maggie" the camera cuts to show pictures of Maggie who is a short Latina

"Maggie is basically the only one of my friends who Kara doesn't know so I'm going to be playing completely as her from job to sexual orientation, which also means I'm going to be playing as a lesbian... I don't have anything against being gay by the way, it's just not me. I like dudes"

"that being said by the short haired, motorbike riding, FBI agent...sure jan, anyway let's meet our next person"

The camera cuts to show a short black haired woman dressed in a dress that probably costs more than this entire shows budget, she spends a few minutes slowly walking around before walking up to the screen "Is this touch screen, Voice activated... hmm"

The camera cuts to show the same woman sitting very stiffly in the circle "Hello, my name is Lena Luthor, I am 26 and I am the CEO of LCorp. I don't really know why I am on this show, my assistant Jess seems to think that I need to seem more human so putting me on a reality show should do that... I don't know I just want to be at work but I guess I will try and have fun here"

"What do you mean that's the end of the interview... she just didn't do anymore... fine I guess we will move on to our next person

The camera cuts to show a black haired woman dressed in a blazer and some dress pants, she looks around and then flops on the bed

The camera cuts to show her sitting in the circle "Hi, I'm Kelly Olsen, I'm 31,  I am a therapist from Metropolis, I'm hoping that my skills as a therapist will help me see trhough catfishes but also help me get close to other people, and if I just so happen to help people while I'm here then oh well haha"

"wait that's it again, why aren't these two like our first two, fine let's check on the golden retriever"

Kara is laying on the carpet throwing skittles and trying to catch them in her mouth

"Ok what about Mrs dark and brooding"

Alex is reading

"ok let's spice this up"

CIRCLE CHAT IS NOW OPEN

Circle Chat is Now Open

The camera cuts quickly between Kara, Lena and Kelly reading it. then the camera cuts to so Alex reading her book still... she doesn't notice the screen.

"Ok it looks like we will have to give her some incentive"

A loud alarm screeches from the screen making Alex jump and drop her book "MOTHERF-" the sound quickly cuts out as Alex starts shouting a tirade of swears "Jesus that was loud" Alex finally says after the audio came back. she finally looks at the screen "oh ok i guess i've got to look at these people... ok um Circle open Kara's profile"

the circle opens Kara's profile and the camera cuts to Lena reading it "Ok Kara, 24, Single i mean i don't know why we had to put our relationship status. I don't know who would ever want to find love through a reality show" it then cuts to Kelly reading the Bio "Hi i'm Kara, i'm a Reporter for CatCo Worldwide Media Oh a reporter...I'm assuming she's going to be good at sussing people out i mean reporters are smart people" the camera quickly cuts to show Kara trying to balance a pen on her nose

"Yeah super smart...anyway lets see what her sister thinks"

Alex is just sitting on her sofa just saying "Kara why"

"Wait...we came in to late lets go back"

A rewind effect comes on the screen and Alex is reading the profile out loud "Media, I love dogs and potstickers, don't challenge me to an eating competition you will lose, i really like exercise as well, my sister says i'm like a dog in a humans body because i like running and foo-" the text then cuts off as Kara had reached the word limit

"ooohhh so that's what happened ok NEXT PROFILE"

The camera then shows Kara bouncing on her feet "Circle please onpen Lena's profile"

Lena's Profile Picture

"woah" Kara's jaw drops when Lena's profile loads

"We might have just seen someone fall in love everyone"

the camera then cuts to show Alex reading Lena's profile "a 29 year old CEO? well you're a catfish" the camera cuts to show Lena reading a book

"ok....so who's gonna tell her"

its cuts back t Alex reading "Hello, i am Lena. i am a CEO. I don't really know what else to say abut me... I miss work. Wait that's it... you are definitely a catfish 'Lena'

The camera shows Lena in her flat she says "Circle open Maggie's profile"

Maggie's (Alex's) Profile Picture

"Ok so a cop, She's probably going to be pretty smart like the reporter" Lena says tapping her pen on her chin.

"It looks like the CEO is getting into the fun of the game, ok lets get this final profile over with and watch these ladies finally get to chat"

"Circle open Kelly's profile" Alex says taking a sip of her coffee...only to spit it out when the profile loaded

"Woah" Alex says after she recovers from her spit take before shaking her head and mumbling to herself to quietly for the mics to pickup.

"That is a definitely straight woman quite literally spiting out her drink at a pretty woman...hmmm anyway"
