Chapter Text

XD had been gone for awhile. even though foolish got fed up with XD forcing him to take a rest he still continued to be dumb and now he was here sick and unable to take care of his kids. Foolish had already been sick for at least a week and only made himself worse by overworking, but at the moment he only thought about two things ‘where is he?’ And ‘where did Finley and Jr go are they okay??’

Finley and jr. where running around the smp clearly looking for someone. Then they both saw the person they were looking for and ran up to them immediately grabbing his hands and tugging him towards the main nether portal, the god immediately knew something was wrong but he didn’t know what so he pulled away from the children “woah you two, slow down what’s wrong? Foolish doesn’t usually let you guys go anywhere by yourselfs” XD asked the children who were clearly distressed and needed him for something.

“You need to help papa!” The smallest totem Finley said tears forming in her eyes, “why does foolish need help for?” XD asked looking down at the children “papa won’t stop coughing! Jr thinks he’s sick again!” Finley said already going back to pulling on the gods arm. “How long have I been gone for him to get sick again!?” XD yelled accidentally scaring the children “sorry, didn’t mean to yell.” XD said pulling the children close to him, “where is foolish finley? I need to know so I can help him” XD said as he picks both the children up and they cling onto him. “Papa’s in his bed. He went to sleep coughing so we came to find you.” Jr said mumbling, “okay, I’m gonna take you how to puffy’s okay?” XD asked the children as he held them closer to him gently

“Okay” both children said at the same time, The god held them tighter but not to tight to his chest as he teleported so he wouldn’t hurt the small beings. He carefully placed them down as he knocked on the door waiting for the goat to answer, soon enough puffy answered the door and was shocked to see XD and Foolish’s children there. “Woah wait a minute, XD why do you have my son’s children and why did you bring them to me?” Puffy asked still in shock as the children hugged her “I need to go check on Foolish, the small beings sis she was sick and needed help so I’m going to help him, I did not want his children wandering around the sever getting hurt so I brought them to the safest place I know. That would be you, I do not want the children hurt or getting sick so I brought them to you, you are their grandmother after all.” XD said explaining as best as he could to Foolish’s father. Puffy was stunned but before she could say anything the god teleported away.

*inhales deeply*

XD teleported to the summer home right next to the massive nether portal, he looked around the summer home to make sure foolish actually went to bed. But unsurprisingly he found the totem standing in the middle of the desert on wobbly legs constantly swaying back and forth. He quickly teleported and caught the totem just as he was about to pass out, "you should be in bed. Your making yourself worse." XD said as he pulled foolish into his side to prevent him from falling over, the god slowly wrapped his arms around Foolish's waist as to not scare the sick and obviously sleep deprived totem. "But I'm finnnnnnneeeeee" foolish whined trying to get out of XD's hold but couldn't due to the gods strength "But I'm finnneee, that's some bullshit your obviously sick and I'm not going to argue with you about this." XD said mocking Foolish's words "but I am! I'm fine!" Foolish said still trying to get out of the gods hold on him "I'm taking you home." XD said as he picked foolish up bridle style and teleported inside Foolish’s house as the totem still protested about him being sick. The deity dropped foolish onto the bed after removing the blanket, foolish tried to sit up but XD held him down “go to sleep.” XD said as he sat on the edge of the bed still holding foolish down, “I will after you leave!“Foolish said looking away from the god “that’s such bullshit and you know it.” XD said as he moved closer to the totem. Darkness clawed at Foolish’s eyes, body finally giving into sleep, XD stopped holding foolish down seeing as he was finally going to sleep.

The god went to stand up and walk out but something grabbed at his arm, looking back he realized one of Foolish's hands had gotten a tight hold on his arm preventing him from leaving. "You need to let go of my arm." XD said as he folded his wings neatly against his back, "stay." Foolish said with his sleep filled voice the best he could. "What'd you say?" XD asked leaning closer to the totem just as he was yanked and fell on the bed, "is something wrong?" XD asked as he faced foolish again "stay." Foolish said still gripping the gods arm, XD stilled tempted to strike foolish with lightning but didn't (anger issues much 😒) and after a really long debate with himself XD laid down with foolish.
The golden Skinned man wrapped his arms around XD as if he'd escape, and after a few moments the god wrapped his own around the totems waist pulling him against his chest.

XD laid there for what seemed like to him an hour whilst the Demi-god slept, the god would have a very good talk with the totem after he got better or when he woke up, since the god isn't usually patient.

A muffled cough is what brought him out of his thoughts, looking at the shorter man in his arms he watched as foolish adjusted to the light, blinking slowly. “Mmh hi?” Foolish groaned in his morning voice. “Hi” XD responded. The god could pinpoint the exact moment that foolish realized who he was curled up too, as if he touched the sun he tried to push himself away from the other but ultimately failed. “We’re going to have a very good talk later.” XD started “go back to sleep.” “BUT!-” foolish was cut off “no buts, go back to sleep.”
