What If... Ladybug used all the Miraculous on Heroes' Day?

Summary:

Ladybug calls in as many allies as possible to take down Scarlet Moth.

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

“Time. Space. Reality. It’s more than– oh, how am I kidding? That’s not me.”

 

The adult Bunnyx walks into view.

 

“Hey guys, as you know, it’s my job to watch over the timeline. In my 'time' here, I have seen many other timelines where one choice created new realities, which I am not allowed to interfere with unless it’s an end-of-the-world scenario like Chat Blanc. Otherwise, I would get in trouble with that timeline's Rabbit holder.”

 

“Anyway, let’s take a look at some of these other worlds.”

 

Bunnyx puts her hand on one of the windows in her burrow.

 

“In our timeline, during Heroes’ Day, Marinette chose not to use all the Miraculous since that many new holders with no training or experience would have caused more problems than they would solve, but in this timeline, that wasn’t an issue…”

 

We see Marinette with Master Fu as she returns the Fox Miraculous after retrieving it from Alya.

 

“You made the right choice, Marinette. Thanks to you, Paris has been saved from evil yet again.”

 

Marinette chuckled, then said, “It’s too bad we can’t risk giving it to her full-time. She would benefit from some extra training.”

 

“Yes,” Fu said thoughtfully, “I suppose she would.”

 

“And so, an idle thought spoken aloud sparked an idea that created a new path.”

 

“Master Fu decided that Miraculous holders could be trained together before being called into the field. Over the next few weeks, the holders were chosen by Ladybug and Chat Noir. though there were some surprises *cough* Chloé *cough* so when Scarlet Moth struck…”

 

“The time has come,” Ladybug told Master Fu, “We need everyone.”

 

She took all the Miraculous from the Miracle Box.

 

“But most of them have been Akumatized,” Tikki replied.

 

“Then we’ll have to make do with what we have and rescue the others as we go.”

 

 

 

 

Ladybug met up with Chat and gave him the Bee, Goat and Rooster Miraculous.

 

After giving Alya and Nino their Miraculous, she headed for the rooftop she had sent Sabrina after de-akumatizing her.

 

“So, it’s finally time?” Sabrina asked.

 

“Indeed, pup,” Barkk told her.

 

Next, she started heading for the Couffaine houseboat, but on the way, spotted Timebreaker on her own.

 

I don’t know why she’s here, but it gives me an opportunity, she thought and launched a kick at her back.

 

“Aughhh!” Timebreaker cried.

 

Ladybug grabbed her badge and ripped it, releasing the Akuma.

 

Timebreaker turned back into Alix, “Ladybug? You’re not Akumatized!”

 

“What everyone saw was an illusion. Now I need your help,” she held out the Rabbit Miraculous.

 

“Finally! I thought I was going to have to wait forever for this.”

 

 

 

 

After sending Bunnyx on her way, Ladybug arrived at the houseboat. And for the second time that day, was forced to reveal other heroes' identities.

 

“I’m sorry about this, but Viperion, Purple Tigress, I need your help to save the city.”

 

“You're Purple Tigress!”

 

“You're Viperion!”

 

The twins stared at each other for a few seconds.

 

“Awesome!” They said in unison.

 

The three of them joined Chat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace, Queen Bee, Miss Hound, Bunnyx, Caprikid and Rooster Bold on a rooftop.

 

“Is this it!” Queen Bee complained, “I thought there were supposed to be more.”

 

“The others are… hard to get to at the moment, which is where you come in, Bunnyx.”

 

“Me?”

 

Ladybug took Bunnyx to the corner of the roof.

 

“Yes, here’s what I want you to do…”

Chapter 2

Chapter Text

Bunnyx disappeared into her Burrow.

 

“Okay, let’s do this,” Ladybug told the team and stood up.

 

“Hawk Moth! I hope you enjoyed Volpina’s illusion because the real Ladybug will never hand you over her Miraculous!”

 

Chat joined her, “And we’ve got a better idea! You’re going to give us your Miraculous!”

 

Carapace and Rena stood too, “You may have an army of Akumatized warriors…” Carapace began.

 

“...but we’re a whole team of superheroes!” Rena finished.

 

“You’re going to wish you never wore that utterly ridiculous costume!” Queen Bee added.

 

Scarlet Moth laughed.

 

“I understand you want to fight,” He said, “Then so be it. Guitar Villain, Frightengale music!”

 

Viperion, Purple Tigress, Miss Hound, Caprikid and Rooster Bold watched the fight hidden from the villain and his army.

 

At first, things were going well for the five heroes as they de-akumatized their opponents, but then Dark Cupid struck, and the heroes became surrounded by Akumas.

 

Viperion turned the snake on his Miraculous and reset time.

 

“Ladybug! He’s going to use Dark Cupid to re-akumatize everyone you free and surround you.”

 

And so when Dark Cupid was about to strike, he got grabbed by Purple Tigress’s bolas and yanked down.

 

“What?!” Scarlet Moth exclaimed.

 

Before Dark Cupid could recover, Miss Hound jumped at him and grabbed his badge.

 

“You are not the only one who can recruit an army,” Ladybug told the shocked supervillain.

 

“Perhaps, but it will do you no good. Get them, my giants!”

 

While the team were battling the giants, Malediktator and Style Queen appeared.

 

“Daddy?! Mommy?!” Queen Bee cried out.

 

“Queen Bee! Focus!” Ladybug told her.

 

“By the power vested in me,” Malediktator said, “Stop playing superheroes!”

 

As Queen Bee fought her Akumatized parents, she didn’t notice Despair Bear as he grabbed onto her leg,” Stop! He commanded, holding her still, “Now, attack Carapace!” Queen Bee aimed her top at the Turtle hero.

 

Viperion turned back time again.

 

“By the power vested in-ow!” Malediktator stumbled back from Caprikid’s punch.

 

Style Queen screeched as Rooster Bold used wind powers to scatter her.

 

“More heroes?!” Scarlet Moth said in confusion, “How do they keep ruining my plans? It’s like they know my every move. No matter, I can re-akumatize… wait!”

 

Scarlet Moth noticed that the people he had Akumatized into his army had disappeared.

 

“Where is my army?!”

 

 

 

 

Ladybug threw her yo-yo and yanked herself up to avoid Glaciator’s fist.

 

She could see Chat, Rena and Carapace fighting Gamer as she flew through the air.

 

She swung toward Horrificator and jumped onto her.

 

“Rraagghh!”

 

She jumped around until she found the badge and de-akumatized her.

 

Before she could get her bearings, Mylène disappeared into a white portal.

 

“What?”

 

Bunnyx sighed, “You’re in the Burrow. It lets me see all time and space. I know your Polymouse. Here's your Miraculous.”

 

“Oh,” Mylène replied quietly, as she put her Miraculous on, "Mullo, get squeaky.”

 

“Now go here through here and wait for Ladybug's signal,” Bunnyx guided her to a window showing Pigella, Ryuko, Minotaurox and King Monkey watching the battle from the other side of the Eiffel Tower.

 

After Polymouse left, Bunnyx opened another portal and dragged in Aurore.

 

“Hi, I’m Bunnyx, new hero now if you just come this way…"

 

“You’re probably wondering how I can see into another me’s Burrow… so am I.”

 

 

 

 

“No!” Scarlet Moth cried as the last of the giants was defeated.

 

“Guitar Villain, get us out of here!”

 

The Akuma nodded and summoned his dragon.

 

They jumped on and fled the battle.

Chapter 3

Chapter Text

Scarlet Moth and Guitar Villain flew on the dragon, but a green portal opened, and Pegasus, Pigella, Ryuko, Minotaurox and King Monkey jumped out.

 

“What is this, An infestation?” Scarlet Moth growled.

 

“On the contrary,” Pegasus said, “You’re the one who is infesting this city with your Akumas.”

 

“So, if anything, we’re the exterminators,” King Monkey said, “Uproar!” He threw his staff into the air, and it came down with a squeaky banana, which he threw at Guitar Villain.

 

“Was that supposed to do something?” He asked and tried to blast them away, but as he did, his guitar turned into a broom.

 

“What have you done to my guitar?! This is not rock and roll!”

 

Ryuko drew her sword, Minotaurox readied his hammer, and they attacked the Akuma, who tried to defend himself with the broom.

 

Pigella stepped forward.

 

Scarlet Moth didn’t know what her power was. So, he would have to be prepared for anything.

 

“Gift!” Pigella swiped her tambourine in front of her, and a present appeared.

 

Okay, he wasn't expecting that.

 

The present opened, a bright light appeared, and he saw his wife! She was healed, and they could be together again.

 

“No! Lies! You’re trying to trick me!”

 

But she was just standing there looking shocked, “you’re Gabriel Agreste?!”

 

Scarlet Moth froze. His secret was out, “Alright, kids. Watch what a man who has nothing to lose can do!” He contacted his Akumas, “My desperate loyal ones destroy Paris!”

 

“No!” The heroes cried.

 

 

 

 

All around the city, the remaining Akumas started destroying the buildings. Although their numbers were reduced they were still more than enough to reduce the city to rubble.

 

Suddenly the citizens started fighting back.

 

“Parisians,” Nora said, “We can be heroes for just one day!”

 

“Yeah! Yes! Yes!”

 

 

 

 

“Enough of this!” Ryuko shouted.

 

She jumped to the dragon’s head and slashed at him, and he tried to burn and bite her.

 

Scarlet Moth jumped off and landed on the street. He needed to get away!

 

“Going somewhere?”

 

He turned around. King Monkey and Pegasus had jumped after him.

 

He started to run.

 

 

 

 

Chat swung his staff to block Dark Blade’s strike and kicked him toward Ladybug.

 

They were doing it! The Akumas were almost finished. Hawk Moth was on the back foot. They could end this. Today.

 

His communicator rang.

 

“Everyone,” Pigella’s voice came out, “I have discovered Hawk Moth’s identity, it’s… it’s Gabriel Agreste.”

 

Chat Noir froze, and then he clenched his fist.

 

 

 

 

Scarlet Moth hid in an alleyway.

 

This couldn't be happening! How had Ladybug recruited so many?

 

A shadow fell over him.

 

“Rrraaahh!” Chat screamed as he swung his staff.

 

Scarlet Moth raised his cane. The blow broke it in half, causing him to revert to his usual costume.

 

Hawk Moth looked around. The heroes were standing on the roofs of the surrounding buildings.

 

Ladybug jumped down.

 

“Lucky Charm!” She got a miniature Miracle Box, ”It’s a sign, Gabriel Agreste, a sign that your Miraculous will wind up in this box. It’s over.”

 

“It will never be over! Not until I save my wife!”

 

“Save her?!” Chat exclaimed, “She’s gone! Has been for a long time let her go.”

 

“No! She’s not dead! She fell into a coma! I have her in cryogenic suspension in my lair, and the only thing that can save her is by using your Miraculous to make a wish!”

 

The heroes were shocked by these revelations.

 

Ladybug shook her head sadly, “That’s… not how it works. The wish comes with a price no one in their right mind would ever pay.”

 

At that moment, an Amok entered the remains of Hawk Moth’s cane.

 

A blue mask appeared over his face, and he gasped, “No, don’t do that!”

 

The heroes stood in confusion, but before they could recover, a blue and black cloud appeared, and a giant monstrous butterfly appeared.

 

“What is that thing?” Polymouse asked.

 

“It doesn’t matter,” Ryuko replied, “It is a threat, Lightning Dragon!”

 

She charged through the air and electrocuted the creature.

 

“Clout!” Purple Tigress punched the Butterfly, sending it crashing into a building.

 

It disappeared in the same kind of cloud that had created it, and the Amok exited the cane.

 

“A feather?” Ladybug said, “But that means…”

 

A dazed Hawk Moth started to get up but was knocked down by Chat, who retrieved the Butterfly Miraculous, Rena recording the unmasking as proof of his identity.

 

Ladybug walked over to him, “Where is it? Where is the Peacock Miraculous?!”

 

“Peacock Miraculous?” Rena asked.

 

“That’s what created that monster. It was lost the same day as the Butterfly, and I bet that is no coincidence.”

 

Gabriel glared.

 

“We should search his mansion,” Rena suggested, “It’s our best lead.”

 

Ladybug nodded.

Chapter 4

Chapter Text

Mayura knew she had to act fast.

 

Already, she felt weak from creating the butterfly Sentimonster, but she needed to create another.

 

She concentrated on what she wanted, and soon a look-a-like of herself was standing in front of her.

 

“Fall my feathers,” She collapsed, she was almost done.

 

 

 

 

The heroes arrived at the mansion.

 

They entered to find Nathalie waiting for them.

 

“The police called me, they… they say that M. Agreste is Hawk Moth, there must be some mistake.”

 

“I’m afraid not,” Chat said sadly, “We need to search–”

 

The sound of smashing glass came from somewhere above them.

 

Everyone raced outside to see a woman in blue jump to the rooftop of another building.

 

“Stop her!” Ladybug cried out.

 

The heroes pursued the figure over rooftop after rooftop, but eventually, she got ahead of them and hid behind a chimney.

 

“I release you from existence,” Nathalie said, destroying the Sentimonster.

 

 

 

 

“...And we found his wife in a secret chamber under the mansion,” Ladybug explained to Master Fu.

 

“Then it seems Hawk Moth had a partner all along,” He concluded.

 

“But why would they hold back on using the Peacock Miraculous?”

 

“I have a theory,” He looked at Chat Noir, who had been quiet the whole time. He would have to make sure Adrien knew he could talk to him if he wished, “From how you described Mme. Agreste’s condition, it sounds like she used a damaged Miraculous. Doing so reflects that damage onto the holder.”

 

“So you think the Peacock is damaged?”

 

“Yes, and this woman, whoever she is, does not possess the knowledge to fix it.”

 

“Is there any way to heal Mme. Agreste?” Chat asked, speaking for the first time.

 

“I am unsure. Remember, I was just a student when the order fell, but I will look through the Grimoire to see if there is a solution,” He picked up the tablet.

 

Nathalie smirked. The risk of creating Optigami and sending it to follow Ladybug had paid off, and now she knew where the Guardian was.

 

 

 

 

That night Marinette was woken by an alert from her phone.

 

Intruder alert in Guardian’s residence.

 

“Tikki, spots on!”

 

She raced to the shop, meeting Chat on the way.

 

When they arrived, they heard crashing sounds within.

 

When they rushed in, they found Master Fu unconscious and the woman in blue lifting the gramophone.

 

Ladybug saw red, “Oh no, you don’t!”

 

She threw her yo-yo around the gramophone and yanked it out of the woman’s hands.

 

“You don’t have your little gang to protect you this time!” She snarled.

 

“We can handle you ourselves,” Chat replied and charged forward.

 

She blocked his staff with a feathered fan and kicked Chat in the stomach.

 

She stepped back. She couldn't risk fighting. If they defeated her, everything would have been for nothing.

 

Spotting the tablet she grabbed it and jumped out the window.

 

“No!” Ladybug and Chat Noir cried.

 

Chat jumped after her while Ladybug stayed with Fu, but he couldn't find any trace of her. She was gone.

 

 

 

 

The next morning, Fu was lying in a hospital bed.

 

“Are you sure you’re okay?” Marinette asked.

 

“Yes, I am more robust than I look,” He sighed, “But that doesn’t excuse my foolishness. I thought by controlling everything and keeping the Miraculous with me would make them safer, but last night, I almost lost all of them in one fell swoop. And that woman got away with a copy of the translated Grimore, which means that in time, she can repair the damaged Miraculous.”

 

“Master Fu, you were following the order's teaching.”

 

“Yes, the same order whose traditions led a young boy to accidentally destroy them.”

 

“What?”

 

Master Fu told her all about the day the order was destroyed, and he lost the Butterfly, Peacock and Grimoire.

 

“I see now it was a mistake to keep the Miraculous under one roof, and with this new enemy still out there, you will need all the help you can get. Perhaps it is time to give your friends their Miraculous full-time.”

 

“Months passed by, during which Gabriel was tried and sentenced, and Adrien ended up in Nathalie’s custody. All was peaceful until one day. A Sentimonster appeared, declaring that Ladybug and Chat Noir should surrender their Miraculous to its Mistress Mayura. And so the battle between good and evil continued, but this time the heroes had their team behind them, and they even added one more member…”

 

Ladybug swung through the air.

 

Her whole team had been captured by the latest Sentimonster. She needed backup to rescue them.

 

Finally, she spotted the person she was looking for.

 

“Ladybug? What are you doing here?”

 

“I need your help. Zoé Lee, here is the Miraculous of the Butterfly…”
