Coiled Dragon (Izuku/Ochako Ending Route)

Summary:

The League of Villains is dead, Hawks has vanished and is public enemy number one, Class 1-A now keeps distant of Izuku Midoriya after Katsuki Bakugo's bashing of him, Sir Nighteye is revealed to be a dick, and a centuries-old super villain is pissed his successor was killed by this Zeku Huang and had also ruined a majority of his plans and centuries-long contingencies.

However, Ochako Uraraka remained steadily at Izuku's side. Whereas her own classmates now ignore and distance themselves from Izuku since the disaster of the Yokohama field trip, she never turned her back to him. She even moves out of her rented apartment and into the Midoriya Family Home during the rest of their summer vacation. The fallout from the trip to Yokohama left behind many changes…

Those changes only invited more to arrive…

Notes:

Kōhei Horikoshi created the characters/universe of Boku no Hero Academia, Serina Oda created the characters/universe of Battle of The Six Realms (六道闘争紀), and Kafka Asagir created the characters/universe of Bungo Stray Dogs.

Coiled Dragon by Marbel is one of the many interesting stories I've read. Marbel left the ending for the UA side kinda at an ambiguous ending, and then I kinda fed my head canons as to what happened after Yokohama. Now Marbel got this story as a gift to read and can enjoy the (unofficial) IzuOcha Ending Route. And the rest of you readers can do the same. Sorry ahead of time, because life distracted me from trying to get this finished. But thankfully I got it done (it only took me about close to a year to finish this spin-off plot bunny one-shot idea, lol).

(See the end of the work for more notes and other works inspired by this one.)

Work Text:

SCANDAL AT THE TODOROKI HOUSE

Ever since the dangerous group of villains, identified as the League of Villains, were killed on the streets of Yokohama, confirmed sources had unveiled a hidden side of the Number Two Pro Hero, Endeavor, in the form of his supposed dead first-born son, Touya Todoroki, identified as the Arsonist Killer, Dabi, and a revealed affiliate of the now deceased League of Villains. Because of these allegations spurned from the reveal of Hawks having contact with these villains (click here for Hawks Traitor story), an investigation was conducted and had further unearthed years of Quirk abuse, bribery and coercion, and illegal Quirk Marriage transactions with the Himura Family selling their daughter Rei Himura (now Rei Todoroki) to Enji Todoroki.

There is more discovered evidence of years of spousal abuse, child abuse and neglect, confirmed by Natsuo Todoroki. Endeavor (Enji Todoroki) has been placed under arrest and his youngest child now in custody of Social Services. His wife was also released from the secured medical facility (undergoing a police investigation to allegations of bribery paid by Endeavor to imprison his wife at the facility) and is undergoing medical diagnosis to ensure she is legally able to provide care and shelter before Social Services release the youngest Todoroki child unto her care.

There is more to read, but this is as far as it went before the silent reading was stopped.

Izuku knew that what Shoto was going through was extremely complicated. Ever since learning his supposed dead older brother was not only alive, but was an arsonist villain and part of the League of Villains. The man, Touya, had to be a new recruit along with those other people. He recalled one of them being a blonde girl maybe a year or two older than him. But they were all killed by that deadly dragon that guarded Yokohama. The villains, all those Nomu they brought with them, dead.

Brutally slain.

And that guy, Zeku Huang, had made it look so ridiculously easy. It was fucking terrifying. Not to mention he eluded knowing about what kind of cruel man Endeavor was, if the blue fire-using man's impenitent rage was any indication.

The aftermath had eventually exposed Endeavor's crimes he had committed and had gotten away with after intensive investigations, and of course the Number Two had his Hero License revoked during the whole thing, leading up to his arrest. But another thing that Izuku still had complications with after that shitty field trip was the result of his talk with Kacchan. The bastard had the gall to declare him this and that, when he had been victimized for eleven long years by his hands and his Quirk. He was not a creepy stalker or anything like that; he just liked Quirks and just how completely different each one can be.

(Or in the thoughts of the author writing this story, most Quirks tend to be absolute bullshit, considering the events of the manga, AKA "Star and Stripe Arc".)

Then again, in this situation, both boys were victims of each other. They each had their own faults that they couldn't deny, but their prides refused to see reason for one reason or another. When Katsuki left UA after being expelled, he just up and vanished while society collectively took a shit on him with hatred and death threats, and turned himself into something like a trophy wife for the bastard that tried to murder them. And now he gets to be drowned in the riches of a dangerous individual with a dragon, able to just dismiss his previous life, dismiss his biological parents, dismiss them all as unwanted pests.

Izuku knew that his classmates were still reeling with coming to terms with the fact Katsuki Bakugo no longer existed. The so-called "Bakusquad" were suffering the worst from the whole thing. Eijiro firmly believed Kacchan could do no wrong, and yet he was proven wrong. He knew Eijiro was forever affected by this, especially since they barely survived being murdered by Huang who had simply planned to blame the League of Villains for their "deaths". And Izuku wouldn't forget that some of them had right away went to believing the League showing up in Yokohama unexpectedly was Kacchan "siding with the villains".

It has been a week since they all returned back to Musutafu, all of them in a way traumatized by the experience that was Yokohama, the people of Port Mafia, the people from the Armed Detective Agency and the surprisingly comfortable and safe-living citizens that lived in the supposedly dangerous crime-riddled city. He had found himself only with Ochako sitting by him while the rest of 1-A practically put distance between themselves and him. No one responded to him. They all gave him shifty looks. It reminded him painfully of how he was bullied by the kids during his middle school days. The looks. The isolation. He hated it. When the whole situation with Kacchan's bullying got exposed they were all close and supportive and protective, but after the Yokohama Field Trip Incident (as he named it in his head) they all turned around and kept themselves far away from him. But Ochako did not leave his side. She didn't let go of him even after they got their medical assistance before being put back on the bus and politely told to leave and never come back.

Izuku looked at his mom, as Inko came to terms over everything she had heard.

One For All. A supposed powerful Quirk that can be handed down from person to person, and her son was the ninth person to have it now, given to him by All Might of all people. Explained fully by the Hero himself, in the office of Nezu at UA High. But she and her son weren't the only ones in the room. There was Nezu himself behind his desk, a tall slender man named Sir Nighteye, and an older boy named Togata.

"And now that you know the truth, Ms. Midoriya, we'll make sure you sign forms to legally keep you from disclosing it to others," Nighteye bluntly declared. "And then afterward, he gives up One For All."

Nezu's ears twitched, but his poker face remained stoic.

"He is unworthy of being the successor of All Might's Quirk, and All Might made a mistake giving it away to a Quirkless kid who can't even handle it properly."

Inko bristled a bit, feeling that Nighteye basically was insulting her child right in front of her.

"Mirai, you are out of line with that comment," said Toshinori in his not-muscle form.

"I doubt it. I watched the Sports Festival. All he did was break his fingers and his arms throwing air bursts. A foolish thing to do and he's scarred for it." His eyes were cold as Izuku had his eyes trained on him. "You, Midoriya, are a mistake."

Izuku's anxiety was ramping up again, as he clenched and unclenched his hands repeatedly in his lap. Inko had shot from her chair.

"I will not sit here and hear you slander my son, mister Nighteye," she declared.

"Neither will I. Despite young Midoriya's past history of being bullied and isolated, he still has the heroic sense of justice that Nana saw in me when I was his age. I made a mistake when I initially said no to his dreams and he later on showed me what true heroism was. That is the reason why I gave him One For All. He's hot blooded for justice and the protection of people, to save those while smiling."

"Open your fucking eyes, Toshinori! Your perfect successor is sitting next to me!" Nighteye declared, gesturing to Mirio.

Poor Mirio looked so confused, but seeing how nervous and anxious his kohai was right now, he didn't want this to go any further.

"Sir!"

The arguments had stopped abruptly, as Nighteye turned to face his protégé, in his mind, the true successor to One For All.

"Only All Might can say what happens to the Quirk One For All. If he willingly chose to hand it to Midoriya-kohai, then that's that. On top of that, he's still young. He's two years younger than me. And going by All Might-sensei's story, Midoriya was the same age as All Might when he was given One For All. And I don't want it, even if you tried to force it to me."

Nighteye stared in shock at Mirio.

"I already have a crazy powerful Quirk. If I was given One For All, that's another largely unknown powerful Quirk added on top and I feel would either drastically set me back several years, or maybe kill me because my body likely couldn't handle having two Quirks." Mirio looks to Izuku with a smile. "And Midoriya is going to be a great future hero. He's here at UA. He's got three years to start training, and he's already apparently gotten a good degree of control over it."

Mirio looks to Nighteye now.

"One For All isn't All Might's Quirk anymore. It now belongs to Izuku Midoriya. And it's not right of you to demand him to give it up, Sir."

The silence was almost deafening.

"Mirai Sasaki."

Eyes turned to Nezu. The mousy face showed no emotion as the principal of the school looks at the man.

"I believe you should leave now. This discussion is over."

Sir Nighteye.

He was one of the people who knew about One For All. And the guy basically demanded that he give it up to his "better candidate" in the form of his senpai, Mirio Togata. But in that secret meeting between him, All Might, Nighteye, Togata, his mom who was let in on the secret of One For All, and Principal Nezu, Mirio had declined wanting One For All. He even spoke his reasons why he would not accept it and why he (Izuku) shouldn't even give it up in the first place, and Nighteye was incensed. But in the end, Sir Nighteye was denied having his perfect successor, and the already soured relationship between him and All Might got even more sour. He would leave as Aizawa-sensei would enter a minute later, and then–

"Izuku?"

Izuku blinked. He turned to face Ochako who was at the open door of his bedroom. She had a look of concern on her face.

"You were staring off into space," she said softly.

"Sorry… I… I was thinking about my meeting in Nezu's office."

She nods, recalling Aizawa-sensei wanting to talk with him once they returned to UA. She enters the room with a cup of cold-brewed green tea. Izuku takes the cup from her with a small smile, taking a sip of the cool drink.

"Are you thinking about… what happened…?"

Izuku looked very shameful now.

"I got punished the most because I wanted to talk to Kacchan, but I know that all of us were punished for leaving the hotel without the adults knowing. Once school starts up again after summer break, we're all going to have detention for two weeks. I, on the other hand, will have four weeks of detention instead of two weeks. But aside that, there's plans that my Quirk Analysis note-taking can be shifted so that it doesn't make me look like a so-called stalker, as Kacchan pointedly spewed at me…"

Ochako sits next to him on a spare chair. Two weeks detention once school starts its second semester was going to suck, but she knew that Izuku's punishment was a bit more harsh having four weeks of detention.

"Izuku… there is no doubt that you are very intelligent. And that's a very good thing. But the years you were bullied had affected your self-worth and your self-confidence. The kids who bullied you, Katsuki included, and the teachers of your old middle school who failed you…" She sighed. "Izuku… no human is perfect. No one is. Anyone who claims so have the biggest flaw."

She reached over with a hand, gently caressing his knee, pinky finger extended.

"Yokohama was a shit show. An absolute fucking shit show. But there's a part of me that's glad that those League of Villains people are gone and will never bother us again, especially their Nomu monsters they can apparently create. But the fact that Huang was mad to slaughter us with them, and then use the villains as the scapegoats for our deaths? I'll never forgive that fucker. But I'll be happy if I never have to see that fucker ever again."

Izuku nodded in agreement.

The only thing from all of this that was remotely good (according to the adults): they, the students, were never mentioned whatsoever. The League of Villains were killed by the sins of Yokohama, and the country didn't bat an eye over it. In fact, most citizens felt fine knowing that a group that invaded UA in mid-April would no longer terrorize them. But Endeavor was being raked over the literal coals by the media for his supposed dead son part of the slain villains, which opened up the Todoroki Family to an exposed scandal of Quirk Marriage and hidden spousal/child abuse. And even worse: Yokohama had CCTV footage that showed Hawks himself having been in brief contact with the League, specially the villain who was identified as the arsonist Dabi, revealed as Touya Todoroki by Huang, that infiltrated Yokohama prior to their deaths. Hawks was a wanted villain now who up and vanished completely.

Izuku, Ochako, and the people of Japan would never know that the Hero Public Safety Commission was subtly threatened by Port Mafia and the Armed Detective Agency that they knew the HPSC was corrupt and the HPSC President was forced to cut Hawks from the organization by feigning statements of not knowing their number three Pro Hero was a traitor and publicly declared him as a wanted villain. Secretly, it was their way of dealing out the ultimate punishment because their spy had failed his missions of infiltrating the now dead League of Villains and capturing Katsuki Bakugo to be brought back to their base.

"But enough of that… your note-taking thing… what do they want to do?"

"Well… apparently when I take my notes when I analyze things, I write down everything and then hoard it… there are some things that would be better off not being known. They plan to help me with first asking permission to analyze someone's Quirk, and wait for an answer. I ask questions more calmly instead of going off on my muttering tangent, since I have been told by many people my muttering is creepy…"

"I don't think it's creepy," she said. "I can even help you with this stuff."

Izuku smiles a bit hearing her response.

"They do believe that I may have some form of ADHD, though. I do have some of the markers that would indicate a case of ADHD, but not one that is severe."

"Oh."

"That or a small form of autism. But… well…"

"Hey. Nothing wrong with that, okay? I won't think anything less of you. I care for you a lot, Izuku. You ain't gettin' rid of me that easily, ya know?"

"But they are right with the fact that my eleven years of not having a good childhood has made me cautious of others and nervous in large crowds. But I was showing improvement, when after I had finally just… when I had that episode that led to Kacchan's expulsion… I expected no one to care, and yet I get all of this help. I especially got that from you. But now after Yokohama, and everybody now avoiding me or not speaking to me… it's reminding me of my middle school days again. What's missing is them all laughing and taunting me maliciously."

Ochako frowned now. She still was not happy that Tsuyu and Tenya were basically now keeping arms length from Izuku, even when she tried to talk to them and want to know why they're following everybody else in Class and avoiding Izuku. She especially wasn't happy when Tsuyu admitted to her over text that she had for the time being blocked Izuku's phone number. And then on the Class Chat upon returning back to the school, Tenya chose to ban Izuku from the chat room. Ochako would chose to leave the chat if Izuku wasn't welcomed there no more.

"You know what they're all doing right now is basically a form of bullying."

"Yeah… I hate it… Kacchan's stupid fucking words… he was a condescending asshole before with no consideration for others in the past, and he became a bigger condescending asshole now and after we left Yokohama. If he wants to be a gay trophy wife for that Zeku Huang bastard, fine. He's dead to me, anyway. But I…"

She hugs Izuku.

"I know," she whispers, understanding how he's feeling.

She knew he wished everyone wasn't ignoring him now after the weeks post Katsuki's expulsion and leading to the shitty trip to Yokohama where Class 1-A was previously supportive and protective of him.

"Izuku. Everything that Huang said is just words. Maybe they have merit, maybe they don't. I don't care. All I know is that you and I will become the heroes who help those in need. We don't need to validate ourselves to people like him or Bakugo."

"Yeah."

When she releases her hug from Izuku, she glances to his computer desk where there were a few stack of old childhood photos. All of them had one theme: Katsuki Bakugo from a day before his Quirk manifested, where Izuku and Katsuki were innocent little boys with big dreams to aspire and claim when they grew up together.

"Ready?"

"Yeah."

Izuku picks up the stack of photos and left his room. Ochako followed him into the empty kitchen where he sets the stack of pictures inside the sink. Taking the top picture, Izuku looks at it. It was where he was only a year old and asleep cuddling Katsuki, both of them in their cute onsies. Baby Izuku's was a bunny while baby Katsuki's was a puppy. He walks to the stove and turned one side on, the blue flame lit. He lights one corner on fire, turns the stove off, and gently sets the burning picture in the sink. The rest of the stack slowly burns away into ash, consuming the past. A past now dead for Izuku Midoriya. Ochako had made sure the window was open so the smoke had a way to vent outside.

Once ash remained, Izuku washed the ashes down the drain.

"Good bye, Kacchan."

It was quiet for a moment in the kitchen.

"Ochako?"

"Yes, Izuku?"

"I want to tell you the truth about my Quirk," he tells her. He faces Ochako. "You and I have this connection with each other, and I do not want to hide things from you. I trust you with my life, Ochako. And I want to entrust you with this secret…"

She felt a small chill run up her back, seeing the hard look in Izuku's eyes. A hard look of determination. The kind of look that showed her that what he wants to talk about was going to change her life. Izuku leads her to the living room where they sit down together on the long sofa.

"My Quirk, Super Power, is the name All Might decided to call it on the registry. The true name of my Quirk is called One For All. And the origins of One For All begins with two brothers…"

What All Might had told Izuku after school after their Internship Week back in the month of May, he repeated to Ochako. And Ochako sat there listening, learning about a long secret the majority of the world doesn't even know about. She was floored when Izuku finished his tale.

And then she would hug him.

"Oh. Izuku, is this your friend?"

The two teens broke apart and turned to the entrance of the living room. Inko stands there, having returned home from shopping.

"Oh. You're back."

Inko smiled.

"Mind helping me, sweetie?" she asks her son.

Izuku gets up to help his mom put away the groceries, leaving Ochako to remain seated at the sofa.

I won't betray you like the others did, Izuku. I'll do everything I can to stand by your side as a partner.

She would voice her thoughts to Izuku when he returned from the kitchen helping his mother, who looked like such a sweetheart and a wonderful doting mother.

==0==0==0==

Two and a half weeks had passed since Class 1-A and 1-B had that disastrous field trip to Yokohama. None of the students of Class 1-A reached out to Izuku and were still ignoring him. They would reach out to Ochako but she would ignore them because they were ignoring Izuku, or for some of them, outright blocking his phone number. During this two and a half weeks, Izuku and Ochako have hung out more. There were two instances where they would be out together and they would run into their classmates.

The first time happened at the mall…

The mall was a bustling hive of busyness, and in the center plaza of the mall by the fountain display was Mina, Toru, Tsuyu, Kyoka and Momo.

"Are you really sure?" asked Mina.

Toru nodded.

"Yeah. My parents are going to call Principal Nezu and inform him of my choice to leave. After what happened at Yokohama… I just… I still have nightmares that I was going to get murdered by some insane freak and his dragon, and seeing Bakugo just stand there with an indifferent look… I'd love to be a hero, but this was too fucking much. Even if those creeps who attacked us at the USJ are now dead…"

Momo cuts in with a hug.

"It's okay… no one will blame you."

"I don't want to leave UA, though. If I can just be transferred to General Education, it'll be fine. That way, we can still at least hang out during lunch at school."

Kyoka nodded.

"Yeah… I'm going to leave the school entirely. That dream I once had of wanting to be an amazing hero… Yokohama and those League of Villains people completely ruined that. I plan to transfer to a regular high school and follow my family's footsteps and join the music industry."

The girls were quiet.

"But, look at it this way, you'll know a future popular rock star idol. And even if we're in different schools once summer ends, I'm still gonna be your friends. Even with the horrible bullshit we had to deal with… the villain attacks, Yokohama, Bakugo and Midori…"

She trailed off when her eyes caught a familiar mop of fluffy green hair. The girls turned to where she was starring and they all see Izuku Midoriya standing there a short distance. He wasn't alone. Tsuyu ribbited softly in distress and guilt seeing Ochako standing beside the boy who she had fully blocked on her phone and had voted to have removed from the Class 1-A Group Chat. They have a couple shopping bags in hand. Ochako's eyes hardened when she caught a glance at the group, a tight-lipped frown on display.

"C'mon, Izuku. Let's go home," they hear Ochako tell Izuku, calling the boy by his first name.

Izuku just nods, looks away from them and they walk away, disappearing into the bustling crowds.

The second incident of a (one-sided) run-in also occurred at the mall…

The mall was again a normal business day. Class 1-A was all together this time, aside three missing. Two whose names have been a bit taboo to mention, and Shoto was still unfortunately dealing with the invasive media just gossiping away on the family drama surrounding him and his siblings, his mother, and their imprisoned father. No one was able to get in contact with Minoru so he was also absent from the group outing. Over all, the entire group that did show up was there to do some light shopping.

"We shouldn't wander away too far, everybody," Tenya informed his classmates.

The rest of them learned about Koji, Toru and Kyoka's choice of wanting to leave the Hero Course; Toru wanting to just go to General Education while Kyoka and Koji was leaving entirely for a normal non-hero high school. But they still wanted to still interact with the friends they had made since April when the new school year began.

"We're just going to the food court, Iida, lighten up," said Mina with a grin.

Of course her smile she was displaying was fake. She was just like Hanta, Denki and Eijiro; crushed over Bakugo's dismissal of them before their Yokohama field trip came to an end with them thankfully not dead like the invading villains.

And then they heard laughter.

"Ochako! You thief!"

"Hehehe! Too slow to stop me, Izuku!"

They were at the food court and near a burger joint, at one of the tables that was against a shrubbery-planted wall railing, they spotted Izuku and Ochako sitting together. They were enjoying cheeseburgers, fries and two soft drinks.

Their laughter subsided.

"Izuku?"

"Yeah?"

"How was it today?" she would ask.

Izuku's smile waned a bit.

"It's going well. Inui-sensei is a really good therapist. I have some bit of difficulty just being able to let go of the fact I never truly knew Kacchan-" When Ochako gave him a look, he knew he slipped up. "Bakugo-san all that well. It still hurts that he can just marry himself off to some bastard with a dragon for a pet and just wash his hands of everything like we're just filth while I still have to deal with all the trauma and suffering he largely had dealt to me since I was four-five years old."

But he looks up to look Ochako in her eyes.

"It also hurts knowing that after the Yokohama bullshit, everybody else in 1-A is now ignoring me and have stopped speaking to me when before, after Bakugo-san faced all the consequences of his actions, they were protective and supportive of me."

"It's wrong what they did after that," Ochako said to Izuku, "and they only got themselves to blame for basically turning their back to you in such a cruel way. Even going so far as to block your number and delete you from the stupid Classroom Chat."

Izuku sighed.

"And Bakugo's posse acting like it's my fault Bakugo decided to run away to Yokohama and become a gay trophy wife."

They could hear them over the ambiance of the background noise of city life exploring the mall, the chatter of people discussing various things. Hearing Izuku describe them in such a way made Eijiro clench his hands in slight anger.

"They're wrong. Not to mention it's on them that they wanted to befriend a bully and abuser," Ochako stated. She still recalled them trying to proclaim that Bakugo was innocent of the accusations until it was undeniably proven true. "All of them are not good friends if they're being stupid the way they are, having done what they done. Even Asui-san. I thought she was a nice girl who could be a really good friend, but then she did what she did to you. Hell, you basically saved her at the USJ and in the end she ignores you because Bakugo twists words to make him look like the victim."

She shakes her head suddenly.

"… Sorry… I still get upset thinking of all that shit…"

"It's okay, Ochako. Let's just drop it, okay?"

She nods, finishing the last of her fries as Izuku took the last bite of his burger before the two gathered their garbage and get up. Ochako held their sodas while Izuku went to the nearby waste receptacle and tossed the trash away.

Then he looked around, and that's when his eyes finally noticed Class 1-A standing in the short distance. His eyes narrowed a bit, before he turned his back to the teens standing there. They didn't want anything to do with him anymore after Yokohama; only fair he now ignores their presence.

"Ochako, let's go home. We got unwanted company."

Ochako looked to where he pointed.

"Okay. We can watch some movies together in the living room," she says, linking her arm with Izuku's, and hands his soda over.

Class 1-A didn't know how to properly process that.

"Can you believe that?" mutters Eijiro. "So unmanly to think like that…"

Tsuyu, though, was saddened seeing the dark look she got from Ochako before she would walk away with Midoriya, arms linked together. She didn't want to have Midoriya around if he was as he was claimed to be by Bakugo, a creepy stalker, but she didn't want to lose Ochako's friendship over it.

But the most important thing that happened was when Inko, after meeting Ochako, learned that the poor girl basically lived all by herself at a cheap apartment in a different part of the city close to UA, and decided to invite her parents over for dinner to make a proposition that everybody would be happy with. It was the following day after the dinner meet-up that Inko and Ochako's parents had went to the apartment she's renting from, collected all of her belongings, and the girl was moved into the spare bedroom at the Midoriya house.

Those two and a half weeks was a lively one for Izuku and Ochako.

But one night, Inko had to work late so Izuku and Ochako were all alone at the apartment. They had made a wonderful meal just for them, with leftovers that Inko can re-heat in the microwave. Izuku and Ochako were just hanging out in the living room after enjoying dinner together, chatting about random things. The TV was on but Izuku had put a movie on. But the movie was ignored.

"Izuku?"

"Yes, Ochako?"

Ochako was blushing as she boldly crawled over onto his lap, straddling him. She firmly sits down in his lap and placed her hands on his shoulders, pinky fingers extended.

"Izuku… over these months since we met at UA… I got to know you and learn so much about you. At first, I thought you were plain-looking, but I got to see who Izuku truly was. You are so much more awesome and amazing, so passionate and caring, so dedicated and hardworking. And… I really love all of those traits about you. I don't even care if you were previously Quirkless. You are… just so wonderfully amazing… and I really want to know more about you… for the rest of my life, if possible…"

"Ochako…"

"… I really love you, Izuku."

Izuku blushed, but a warm smile emerged. Ochako's heart fluttered seeing that warm smile on the boy's face.

"You know… you were the very first person ever who truly liked me for who I am. My… my one true real best friend. You are just so happy and cheerful, and I… I really love those pink blush marks you have on your cheeks. They just make you look so beautiful. And your voice… every time I hear you speak, it just makes my heart flutter wild. And I can't help but find the pink pads on your fingertips to be very cute… it reminds me of the soft pads on a cat's paw."

Ochako broke into a brighter blush, which made Izuku giggle a bit seeing her look away shyly for a bit. Izuku slowly slips his hands around her waist before placing them just above the small of her back. Ochako gently grind down against Izuku's crotch.

"I… I want to know… how soft your lips are," Izuku whispers softly.

"Well… then let's find out," she whispers back.

Izuku and Ochako closed the gap between their heads, lips locking together for a first kiss. Then they kissed a second time. Then they kissed a third time. The two teenagers slowly lose themselves in the building passion they were basking in. Love as well as teenage lust drove them to slowly undressing one another, touching each other in places considered very intimate. But they were also first-timers enacting this round of adult passion with the cute blushes they would have, but building confidence from encouraging the other in their sexual acts.

As it was, both teenagers were familiar with internet porn and have even viewed it in secret whenever they could, so they weren't total virgins in the knowledge of what sex was. Yet, here they were, plainly seen in the living room, completely naked and Ochako would be riding Izuku on the sofa, panting and moaning each other's names. Even when Ochako half-way into their coupling forgot to keep her pinkies lifted and had used her Quirk and made Izuku start floating, the boy didn't stop in his thrusts as the two continued having sex. But after an hour had passed by and the two teenagers had fully sated their coupling, Ochako was blushing at how messy she was at the end with Izuku's semen dripping out from her vagina. They were quick to clean up the minor mess they made and she would wipe herself up before they would calmly get dressed again. They swear to each other to never let their parents find out they had unprotected sex in the living room.

The movie player was turned off and once sitting back down on the cleaned long sofa, Izuku switched the input to the main cable channel. Izuku and Ochako were greeted with a live scene on the news channel that was currently happening. They weren't the only ones in disbelief of what they were seeing. The nation of Japan and all eyes were glued to any form of available television screen or to their phones or computers because currently live through a brave helicopter owned by NHK, Chigasaki of Kanagawa Prefecture had been transformed instantly into a destructive battle field between All Might and an equally powerfully-looking man wearing an evil-looking respirator/mask and executive black business suit with red tie.

With the League of Villains no longer a threat because of the Yokohama Incident, police and heroes still continued their investigation to fully ensure that their remnants was taken out, starting with the location of where the bio-engineered creatures called Nomu were made at. When they had finally found the main location that the Nomu were being produced at, a large garrison of Pro Heroes alongside four different armed police districts formed this large strike force, with the top ten Pro Heroes (excluding Hawks because he was still missing in action post-Yokohama and Endeavor due to the scandal that destroyed his reputation) were leading the charge on the location. They captured a doctor on site who was caught creating the monsters using the corpses of various people.

But it went downhill when an enraged super villain revealed himself.

All For One.

A man who All Might believed he had permanently defeated that resulted in his debilitating injury after their encounter. A man who was incensed over the death of his successor at the hands of Zeku Huang.

To All For One, Tomura Shigaraki was going to become his puppet, his second body once his old one finally died, and the one who would inherit the true All For One Quirk and then be taken over by his conscious, his soul. But the Yokohama Incident had derailed a majority of his various plans and centuries-long contingencies. So when he learned his main Nomu Factory was discovered and attacked, he personally showed up to vent his rage upon the Pro Heroes and everybody that got in his way.

All Might personally tackled him head-on that leveled a good portion of Chigasaki, leaving the other Pro Heroes past the rank of ten and the mobilized police forces to prioritize the rescue and evacuation of civilians caught in the deadly crossfire. The other top nine either assisted as best they could, or dealt with any Nomu awakened by All For One. But the fight between All For One and All Might was like watching two Gods battle among mortals. But in the end, All Might would release this final attack of his, using the last embers of One For All to ensure the villain was taken down.

"UNITED STATES… OF… SMASH!"

But the key difference in this particular time line and in this particular universe, All Might's United States of Smash technique kills All For One instead of knocking him out cold, though for the audience, the cameraman's view was obscured by the massive hurricane-force winds produced, tossing and churning up destroyed cars and chunks of debris right up into the air. The helicopter struggled to keep in the air despite the violent turbulence. But the winds would soon die down and silence would overcome the city.

And for everybody watching, midst the destruction and debris, All Might would take his final stand, arm raised in victory…

Good-bye… One For All…

… And then he would collapse.

Several heroes would rush in, pick up All Might's unconscious form and carry him to safety while others and police brave enough to venture into the destruction would crowd around the body of the villain. Here, the camera's live shot would finally cut out. It was so the country would not see the fact that All For One was now a headless corpse, with his formerly heavily-scarred head a bloody viscera of gore and a shattered respiration helmet/mask.

Sniffles fill the silence of the living room once the TV was turned off with the remote. The sniffles turned into sobbing. Heart-wrenching sobbing that also brought tears from Ochako's eyes. Izuku was crying because the teen knew All Might's time as a hero was now over.

Because he knew the last embers of One For All had died in All Might, and now…

… Now it's his turn to carry the flame of One For All into the future…

And ever since Ochako learned about One For All two and a half weeks ago, she made a vow to him that she'll forever remain by his side. She even told him that even if he never had received One For All from All Might, she firmly believed he would have still found a way to make his dreams of heroics a reality. Holding him after they had watched what was no doubt All Might's last appearance as a Pro Hero play out live on TV defeating the super villain that was after the One For All Quirk for so many years in a permanent manner; it was the least Ochako could do. Whatever certain future that could have thrust itself upon Izuku was cleared when the major threat from the shadows was killed, thus saving the world from a fate worse than death.

In the home of the Aoyama Family, Yuuga was in his room crying softly. He was just of many that had seen the breaking news of a super villain attack in Chigasaki, and watched with the rest of Japan as All Might came out on top. And, though it was brief, the camera operator from the helicopter had catch a glimpse of All For One, and thus Yuuga and his family had seen that the super villain's head was but a smear in the ground. For his parents, for Yuuga, All For One is dead. His hold on their family, the chains of bondage, shattered. However, with personal knowledge of what he survived in Yokohama, learning that there was an individual who could very well be even more powerful than the boogeyman of the Japanese Underworld, made Yuuga reaffirm his choice.

"Mama, papa… je veux partir pour la maison (I want to leave for home)."

He was hugged by his mother and father, whom also sobbed knowing that All For One can no longer force their child to betray his classmates and his teachers.

"We'll leave right away," Yuuga's father informed his son.

Numerous Pro Heroes all across Japan along with the Japanese Self Defense Force mobilized in Chigasaki to aid in the rescue of trapped civilians and also help with the clean-up effort that would last hours into the next day with months of clean-up and reconstruction to follow.

It wouldn't be until that next day, around the noon hour, when again all TVs are tuned to a brief press conference where All Might once again stood before them all, but he was not in his muscle form, and he was heavily bandaged up and wearing a hospital gown. He briefly touched upon who the man was he permanently ended, alluded to how he had been around since the Dawn of Quirks, and how he was rumored to be the Baba Yaga of the Japanese criminal underworld, then at the end after he declared his retirement from the Pro Hero world, he would point to the cameras.

To the audience, he was pointing to them. To Izuku, watching this with Ochako while they were eating lunch together in the living room, he knew All Might was pointing at him.

"Now it's your turn," All Might would declare, face set with determination, a sense of hope knowing that his message would reach to who he was directly addressing to. He then would walk away and return to the hospital he was still staying at, leaving behind a clamoring of unanswered questions from the press while security made sure they didn't invade the hospital.

Ochako looks to Izuku who turned the TV off.

"You okay?" she asked.

Izuku looked towards her.

"I'm afraid… of what's to come… there's still our classmates who will not talk to me…"

She reached over with a hand and gently grabs his left hand, pinky finger extended. She gave a gentle squeeze.

"We'll face it together… and if our classmates are still going to be assholes to you, then they're not worth being friends with in the end…"

That brought a warm smile to his lips.

It was now the month of August. One more month before school starts up again for their second semester. And UA was making visits to students homes, specially those of the Hero Course. For Izuku and Ochako, it was quite the surprise when on the second day of August, the door bell would ring. The clock on the wall reads 1:35 PM.

Izuku was in the kitchen making a late lunch and was busy at the stove so Ochako would get up to answer the door.

"Oh, Aizawa-sensei."

Shouta Aizawa stood at the door. But with him was All Might in his thin form. It was still surreal seeing the now retired All Might.

"Uraraka. I did not expect to see you here at Midoriya's residence," said the man.

"Oh. Yeah, my parents met Izuku's mom and decided that it'd be better if I moved in with them instead of living by myself at the other cheap apartment they found for me before school started in April."

She then opens the door wider, inviting them inside.

The shoes were left at the genkan and they were provided guest house slippers before the two adults followed the girl further into the Midoriya home. The two men glanced around, seeing family portraits of Izuku and his mother when he was younger. But there was a more recent framed photo showing Izuku and Ochako together, cheeks pressed together, as if squeezing in to get their photo taken together while displaying bright cheery grins.

"Who was at the door?" Izuku called from the kitchen.

"Aizawa-sensei and All Might-sensei," she answers.

"What? All Might!?"

Hurried footsteps reveal Izuku hurrying from the kitchen. He's wearing comfortable green sweat pants and to All Might's slight embarrassment and amusement, a kitchen apron with his big smiling heroic mug emblazoned on it. The apron was shaped similar to his head in his muscle form. Aizawa mere raises an eyebrow at the gaudy-looking cooking apron his shirtless Problem Child was wearing. Izuku blushed, realizing that aside the cooking apron, he's not wearing a shirt. Ochako also blushed realizing she's seen as alone with her boyfriend who isn't wearing a shirt.

"So… is your mother home, young Midoriya?" asked All Might.

"No. She has work today," Izuku answered, quickly leaving so he can go put a shirt on.

"And my parents are back home in Mie working as well. It's just… us two… alone…"

Ochako realize how suspicious that sounded with two teenagers home alone unsupervised because most adults will often be suspicious of teenagers being home alone. And she can see Aizawa-sensei was probably wondering if they have done anything inappropriate.

"Um, may I ask why you two are here at Izuku's house?" she asked.

If the two adults noted the girl's familiar use of Izuku's first name with no honorifics, they didn't comment on it. When Izuku reappeared, now wearing a shirt and setting his cooking apron down on the dining chair in the kitchen, they went into the living room once the stove was turned off.

"We were here to speak with all of our students' families about a new mandatory thing happening for UA. Since the incident with Yokohama, and then the incident with Chigasaki, Principal Nezu has made the decision that all students of UA are to now start attending school through the newly build student dorms on campus grounds."

"Dormitory? At UA?"

"So… wait, you mean that now we're going to be living on school grounds while attending UA?" asked Ochako.

"Yes. But instead of the original plans of multiple buildings per class, they are now instead similar to studio apartments," All Might informs the two teens. "So you will have room mates to live with at these apartments."

Izuku and Ochako were smiling a bit, glancing at each other monetarily.

"Um, All Might-sensei-"

"Please, call me Yagi. All Might is retired, now," Yagi had insisted.

"You'll still be All Might to me, sir," Izuku said with passion.

It brought a warm smile to the old man's face.

"Yagi-sensei, Aizawa-sensei, there's one problem with all of this," Ochako continued.

"What is it, Uraraka?" their home room teacher asked.

"Our classmates have completely blocked and stopped talking to Izuku since Yokohama. They've actively turned their back to him, and they even kicked him off of the group class chat that you had created at the start of the school year. They even blocked his phone number and essentially are bullying him in a non-verbal manner. So I am very concerned about how the rest of our time at UA will go because of their actions towards Izuku after the bullshit at Yokohama and Bakugo's pure dismissal of all of us to be a gay trophy wife to that Huang bastard."

Aizawa and Yagi both were surprised at hearing this.

"I see. The class chat rooms are a mandatory thing so that every student can keep in touch when it comes to important announcements. It seems that I will need to revoke privileges to Iida and Yaoyorozu if they willingly allowed this to happen."

"Sensei… if they are going to start acting like my former middle school classmates have… then I don't know if I will feel safe being part of Class 1-A." Izuku reached over and grabs Ochako's hand. "I only feel safe being with Ochako now."

And that was very worrying to the two adults. And Aizawa was aware of the therapy Izuku was undergoing with Hound Dog and the progress he was making overcoming his personal hang-ups and the rebuilding of his self-esteem and self-confidence. But if his students were ignoring Izuku and blatantly bullying him through other means since Yokohama, it could undo all of the boy's hard work and progress to get past his issues stemming from Bakugo.

"I will get to the matter of this, Midoriya. You have my word."

Ochako gave Izuku's hand a tender squeeze before she addresses her teachers on a final issue.

"We can tell our moms and one dad about what UA is planning to do, but I believe they will have no issue with us moving into a studio apartment on UA grounds. Just… only if Izuku and I have an apartment to ourselves, please. With how our classmates have been treating Izuku post-Yokohama, I rather he not have to face any bullying if he's got other room mates that isn't me."

In the end, the two men would leave promising to have things settled.

Three days later, Izuku and Ochako would be walking back to UA with a moving company having brought all of their belongings they wanted to take with them and introduced to the UA Heights Alliance Student Apartments. Izuku and Ochako had their own studio apartment with two bedrooms on the top floor, a full living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, a large bath on the first floor and a toilet room on the second floor with five different closet spaces. Only their apartment was created with two room mates in mind. The rest were all created with five room mates per apartment.

By the end of the day and having decorated their apartment to how they liked it (both were happy the school even pre-furbished the apartment though they plan to get a bigger bed to share soon), Izuku and Ochako found themselves on a brand new Class 1-A Chat Room that was created by their teacher. But the main difference is Aizawa-sensei had Admin privileges and banned anyone from blocking or ignoring anyone else and had the option of nicknames blocked, even publicly on chat revoking Iida and Yaoyorozu as Class Rep and Vice Class Rep. They also discovered that Aoyama, Koda, Mineta, Hagakure and Jiro wasn't on the chat. Izuku and Ochako learned that the French-speaking boy's family had suddenly pulled him out and they left Japan completely to return to France, Jiro, Mineta and Koda left UA entirely because they no longer wanted to be a hero since the events of Yokohama had utterly terrified them, and Hagakure left the Hero Course but opted to remain a student of UA, only now part of General Education.

Izuku would later find out through a private message by their teacher that the man had spoken with the rest of the class in regards to their treatment of him after Yokohama and found that their half-hearten excuses of why they essentially turned their back on him warranted punishment for what was essentially bullying. On top of the detention once summer ends and school resumes with the second semester term, only he and Ochako would be allowed to participate in the upcoming Provisional License Exams, which meant training for two weeks leading to the exam day while the rest of Class 1-A was banned from being able to participate in the Provisional License Exams. A small part of Izuku felt bad, but largely he felt that the punishment to the others was fair and just and trusted Aizawa's judgment.

The day of the exams, Izuku and Ochako both managed to walk away in the end with Provisional Hero Licenses and outsmarting a lot of other students from various other schools such as Ketsubutsu and Shiketsu. Their parents were so happy of their accomplishment once showing off their IDs in pics sent to their families. But the rest of Class 1-A found out that Izuku and Ochako went to the License Exams they were forbidden to participate in for their treatment towards Izuku post-Yokohama and the jealousy only grew from there.

The following day they both went out to celebrate by hanging out at the arcades and just acted their age and had lots of fun together, but on the way back to the school, a little girl with white hair and red eyes would run into Izuku, crying and whimpering for help. The two were quick to scoop the girl off the street and flee fast back to UA, and were just minutes away from being encountered by a dangerous bird mask-wearing man who was enraged the girl he was chasing had somehow escaped from him completely. Izuku and Ochako would learn that the girl's name was Eri, and that she was an abused victim of a dangerous man named Kai Chisaki, who she told them he would proclaim himself her father when it was in fact a lie to fool outsiders. While getting their teachers and police involved, Izuku and Ochako felt fiercely protective of the small child and vowed to keep her safe and protected.

When Sir Nighteye found out that the girl was an escapee from the yakuza group he was investigating, he was angry that his possible investigations was going to get de-railed and went to confront the teenagers. Izuku would actually punch his lights out when the man had the gall to tell Izuku to release her back into Chisaki's custody claiming that he and Ochako had essentially kidnapped her from her "father". Eri would remain under protective custody of UA and of Izuku and Ochako with adult supervision by Aizawa. One month later, Shie Hassaikai would be dismantled and all of its core members and their lower thugs imprisoned, but Overhaul was the only person who managed to escape and was still at large. No one thankfully died from the raid, but Sir Nighteye had lost his right arm during the raid. The found Quirk Destruction drugs as well as the research into making the drugs as well as the sources of Trigger were destroyed on site.

Several large black bags sit on the floor, tied shut. There is blood splattered everywhere along with numerous cleaning products. A person wearing all white clothes stands in front of an autopsy table with these cleaning products on display. They wore a makeshift sewn monstrous animalistic mask with strands of white and gray hairs that covered the entire figure's head. It looked like a deformed face, a cross between a pig, a monkey, and an ogre. They also wore large black rubber gloves, boots and rubber apron. They take out a phone from the front pocket and cared little for the blood staining the buttons as a number is dialed.

The call connects.

"Keigo Takami has been neutralized."

"Good. Clean up. We will begin our next task of dealing with the Meta Liberation Army and their leader who is in the belief we don't know they hide behind the Detnerat company."

Click.

And now they have the job to dispose of the evidence and the bags filled with red feathers and chopped body parts before moving onto the next assignment given to them by the Hero Public Safety Commission President.

Notes:

Okay, so considering the Bungou Stray Dogs location takes place in Yokohama, and Boku no Hero Academia's Kamino Ward is also in Yokohama, I had to change up where the League of Villains hide out was located in this spin-off AU. Instead of Kamino Ward, Yokohama Prefecture like it was in BNHA canon events, this story will have the base as well as the main Nomu Factory situated in Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture.

Izuku and Ochako are the only two with Provisional Hero Licenses. They're dating now in this AU, and the rest of 1-A were background punished for their sudden treatment of Izuku after the Yokohama events. Also, Eri was rescued earlier and successfully escaping Overhaul's clutches because Eri deserves to be free from evil's hand (and also Green Tea Family, yo~)
