To think things would end like this. David was currently in rubble with the Famous Adam Smasher  staring down at him. To be honest, David knew he was going to die. It was inevitable from the moment he got into that suit.

It's funny. David's mother wanted him to go straight up to the Arasaka Tower but ended up getting killed by Someone who works for Arasaka. That's some divine comedy shit right there. He was going to miss every single one of his friends.

Lucy, Rebecca, Pilar, Maine, Dorio, Kiwi, and Falco. They all had a good run. Though despite all that — there was something he regretted. What he regretted the most was not being able to be with Lucy. Knowing Lucy. .His death will change her for the worst. Falco . .He would will be effected as well. If he could do it all again, a second chance at life. . He would make sure that all his friends including Lucy survive.. Change things to make sure his friends get an ending they deserve — If He could. 

David suddenly laughed at this whole situation he was in. It was like he was laughing in the face of death.. Smasher just looked down at the kid who was laughing his ass off. He could see in the boy's eyes. . Regret and Acceptance. David was ready to die and accept his fate..

David's laugh died down and right after his laugh, Smasher spoke.

Smasher: "I had some fun after all.. You know, you could prove to be an interesting construct." He said to him. David merely smiled at him — he didn't care what Smasher had to say at all.

David: "Whatever choom. Like I give a shit."  He said with a small chuckle. Adam Smasher shook his head — It was time to get this over with.

Smasher: "Oh, Well." He said as he lifted his arm a bit so it was facing David. He was ready to blast David..

Despite all that, David kept his smile and chuckle once more.

David: 'This is where I die. . Goodbye Lucy and Falco. Rebecca, Mom, and the others. . I'm on my way.' He Thought.

BANG!!!

All David saw was black.. He was dead, currently in a void drifting into the deep dark abyss. Though suddenly he was stopped.

???: "David Martinez, It is not your time to come the land of the dead just yet.. You still have something to complete.." 

David looked around confused until a lady Appeared infront of him. Though, he was mostly shocked at her appearance. 

David:"Who. . are you?" He asked. The Mysterious being smiled down at him with sincerity. 

???: "I am the Goddess of Fate and Fortune — Aya." 

David didn't expect that at all, to meet the Goddess of Fate. Then he remembered what she said earlier.

David: "I see. .What did you mean a few minutes ago? I had something to complete?" He reminded. Aya nodded and kept her smile.

Aya: "You are correct, young one. As the Goddess of Fate and Fortune. . I can change the fate of people as I wish. I watched over you during your journey.. From the time you were born to the time of your death. You, David, Despite everything that happened you still powered through.. So as for the thing you need to complete — is making sure your friends get the life they deserve, same goes to you." She explained. 

David stayed quiet trying to process this information the best he could. Aya chuckled, It was like a child trying to figure out how all things came to be. Simply adorable.

Aya: "A lot to take in right?" She askeed. David nodded before speaking up..

David: "Are you really going to give me a second chance?" He asked..

Aya: "Of Course. I am." She said as she Fixed his body to it's Regular state, with a bit of adjustment.

David felt all feeling his body and quickly looked down and saw his improved body. His eyes were almost as wide as dinner plates.

David: "Ayo what the fuck!?" He expect his body to be his regular toned body and he looked down to his hanging Cock — Holy fuck that's a big bitch.. He did Not expect this Chad/Jack'ed body. Aya laughed at his reaction.

Aya: "I hope you like it . . Trust me, your going to need it.." She mysteriously said with a perverted expression and giggle. David looked up at her and saw the expression. .He had a small inkling of what  was going to happen when he get's his second chance but. . He pushed that thought back.

Aya: "Now I'll give you the Blessing of Fate and Fortune. This will help you on your journey.." When she said that, David was Engulfed in a bright light before it died down.. "This will allow you to see the fates of others and among other things but be careful. .Over using it too much could cause harm to you — However. .the Harm will go away because of the blessings. . That and I refuse to let you die. Now It's time for you to go, Young one."  David gave her a sincere smile, a smile that was full of hope.

David: "Thank you, Aya.." 

Aya: "Your welcome David.. Now Go on and start your journey.. Have fun. . . My Dear Vessel." David's eyes widened after hearing what she said.

David: "WAIT! WHAT DO YOU MEAN!-" He was sent at away quickly with snap the fingers..

Aya: "All in due time David.. All in Due Time.." She said to herself as she wondered deep into the void.

David, woke up in his Mother's apartment on the couch.. He shot up quickly and looked around frantically. He was really alive. He felt his body. .He felt the couch. He was really Alive!! Then his mom must be — His heart dropped when he saw the urn that held his mother's ash.. She was dead. Seems He was sent to a certain point.

Maybe it was for the better. He didn't want to drag his mom into the shitstorm he was about to cause. Most of all he didn't want her to worry about him. However there was one thing that was on his mind..

"The hell did she mean by Vessel..?"

David sighed as he got up from his sleeping spot and stretched. This was his second chance, he couldn't fuck it up. He needed to get shit done make sure it's done right. He felt his back finding that the  Sandevistan was intact. Which was good, because he sure as hell didn't want to reinstall that..

David: 'If I'm right, I had this installed right after getting my ass kicked by Katsuo... Alright, I see — Seems I get to beat his ass once more.'  He chuckled to himself.  He crackled his knuckles and before getting properly dressed.

He put on his regular Black t-shirt, his two golden chain necklaces that hung on his neck, His gray cropped sweatpants with two yellow straps on either side, with his tennis shoes. David picked up his Mom's Yellow EMT Jacket..  He stared at the Jacket with a hint of sadness in his eyes.

"That's why you got to prove them wrong! You have to work hard and rise through the ranks! My son at Arasaka Tower top floor I could just see it."

"You've got this D, Your my son!"

His grip tighten on the Jacket. Those were last words he heard from his mother. . . Before she was murdered. His mind shifted to Arasaka. He clearly remembered everything  they did to him. To Taking Lucy and tricking him into getting in the Cyberskeleton. . All the way to the point of getting killed Adam Smasher. Then there was Kiwi, who betrayed the crew causing Lucy's Capture.. 

He tch'd before putting on the Jacket — in remembrance of his mother. 

David: "Now on to the blessing that Goddess gave me.. She said I will be able to see other's fates but also among other things. Heh, Seems I'm going to get some power ups down the road. I can rock with that.." He smirked.. "Now, it's time to beat up arrogant piece of shit." He may have went easy on Katsuo on his first run, but now. . He was gonna beat that fucker until he begs for mercy.

He made sure he wasn't leaving anything important before he left. . He had everything in order. Now it was time to get the show on the road. He left the apartment and Made his way to the Arasaka Academy..

He Arrived at the school and once he went in the AI was already in the middle of Teaching, but David didn't give a shit. He was here to deliver a lesson of his own. Once his eyes were set on Katsuo, He started to make his way to him. .David was going to make sure that this boy learns his place.

Katsuo looked over at David with an Cocky smirk.

Katsuo: "Check it out, take a load of this guy Is he se-" He didn't get to finish his sentence because David kicked him out of his chair.. Katsuo tumbled on to the ground. Only to get up with an Angry look.

Katsuo: "Your gonked Martinez?!  We are at school's the Cameras-" David quickly delivered a punch to his face, causing Katsuo to fall on the ground again.

David took of his jacket and shirt but left his Necklaces on. .His-toned and ripped body at in display.  He looked down at Katsuo with a glare full of Hatred.

David: "What, are you afraid of getting caught? Stand up and fucking fight me here and now. . Or are you too much of a bitch to do so?" He spat out. Tanaka didn't like that as he glared at David.

He stood up and activated his cybernetics. David has his at Sandevistan at the ready as well. When Katsuo started doing his rapid and fast punches. He noticed something different. 

Katsuo's Movements were slow as a snail.

David found this new development amusing but also surprising. He didn't even have to use his Sandevistan to slow down the Punches.. 

David: 'He's slow. . Could this be because of that Blessing?' He thought to himself. It was the only thing that he could think of at the moment. He activated the Sandevistan causing time to slow down. He walked all the way around  Katsuo and then delivered a devastating punch to to Katsuo's Cheek. . Then Resumed time.

In Reality — David moved fast to the right side of him and delivered that devastating punch, causing Tanaka to  fly and slam against the window, cracking it in the process. Martinez didn't spaz like last time. Instead he was just standing there, not moving with his eyes fixated on Tanaka.

Tanaka's goons ran away because they did not want to deal with David.

Katsuo: "Shit what'd you do! What the hell kind of Implant is that?! You broke my nose you asshole!"  David just stared at him with an expressionless face. He felt no remorse in doing that to him.

Katsuo: " Your done! Do you know who my father is?! An Arasaka Executive of the Academy Board. Your so fucking gone! You should've quit while you were ahead you rat bastard!" He said as tears swelled up in his eyes. David walked up to Katsuo with a frown making it's full appearance on his lips.

David: "Like I Give a shit. If any case your Daddy won't be able to stop me from what I'm about to do to you now.. Consider this pay back. . for the shit you said about my mother." He picked Tanaka up and delivered a Hard punch to his Gut. As Tanaka hunched over because of how strong the punch was. .David grabbed his head and slammed it back into the glass and he kept ramming the back of his head into the glass. Over.

and over.

and Over.

AND OVER!

That's when David picked him up and body slammed him on to the ground. As he got up and looked at Tanaka's condition. By the looks of it, he was probably unconscious. . Or dead. Didn't really matter to him.

He picked up his shirt and put it back on, making sure to put his necklaces over it. Then he put back on his Mother's Jacket. His job was done here and he left. He couldn't hang around there too long.

...

He finally arrived home, removing his Jacket, shirt and chains — putting the neatly on the bed. He went and sat down on the couch with a heavy sigh.

He got a call from the Principal, in which he immediately hung up. He didn't have the time to talk to them. He needed to think of what to  do next..

David: 'Tomorrow is the day I meet Lucy. To think I would see her again. Though I am in the past so. . She won't remember me.' He sighed to himself.

???:"Well, I can help with that." The voice said inside of his mind. David remembered that voice it was Aya!.

David: "Aya?! How are you..!"

Aya: "You did hear me say that you are my vessel. Remember?" She reminded him. That's right she did say that.

David: "But. . What do you mean by that?" 

Aya: "To simply put it, think of yourself as the holder of the Goddess of Fate and Fortune — me. You will grow to have my powers and possibly take my place as the new Deity. Though you are a mortal, but that would have to change. . If you want."

David processed the information as  best as he could..

David: "But what about Lucy. .If I take your place.." He trailed off but Aya knew what he meant.

Aya: "Don't worry Lucy and the others will be given immortality just like you. You all will live with each other for eternity." She  reassured.

David nodded before freezing.. He caught on to what she had said.

David: "What do you mean by others?" He asked.  Though David couldn't see Aya, she was currently smirking.

Aya: "You and your harem of girls of course." She revealed. It felt like the world stopped for David. The words "Harem of Girls" repeated in his mind.

David: "W-WHAT! YOU BETTER EXPLAIN RIGHT NOW!" David was blushing just a tad bit and Aya was currently laughing at David.

Aya: "Alright Alright! I decided that instead of you just having Lucy. I twisted fate and made sure you get Rebecca, Kiwi, and Dorio as well and. . .maybe a few others down the road, Who knows?" She giggled.  Her giggle was like a Pervert hitting the jackpot of being a Harem King. David didn't expect this, not by a long shot.

David: "Hold on Hold on..! Why all of them?!" 

Aya: "Shush and accept it boy! I'll make sure that my Vessel lives the good life surrounded by women, so you could satisfy your sexual needs.. Besides, with you being my Vessel, your stamina and other attributes increased on a massive scale. So you going one round won't cut it for you." Aya said. She knows because she have her own harem of Boys and she needed each and everyone of them to satisfy her.

David sighed and didn't have any choice but to accept it.

David: "Fine, I'll accept it.. Thank you, Aya." He said with a small smile.

Aya: "Your welcome. Now, as For the Lucy.. just get in  physical contact with her. We will have a talk with her together an explain what is going on." She explained to him. David completely understood.

David: "Alright. I will.. See you tomorrow Aya." He said as he got comfortable.

Aya: "Night David. Have a good sleep." 

After that, Aya stopped the contact with David and left him to fall asleep.

When David was asleep, he found himself in a room full of Red strings, neatly lined up.. He was confused on what was this place. He knew for sure that he wasn't dreaming. Did his soul get transported somewhere? He looked all-around for something to what a least give him a clue as to where he was. That's when he saw it, Sign.. The Sign read out

The Room Fate — where everyone's fate is recorded.

Now, this shocked David to his core. This very room — The Room Of Fate, is where he can change people's fate. It was almost as if he hit the Jackpot. He could change peoples fate. .With him being the vessel of Aya — then he should be able to do it right?

He started to roam reading all the name's on the Fate-strings.

There were many names  but there was one that was calling to David.. He stopped right in front that specific one and Read then name out loud.

David: "Sasha Yakovleva..." He was confused.. Who was Sasha Yakovleva and why was her fate calling to him. He narrowed his eyes at the string. "Might as well find it then."

He took a deep breath and exhaled. He steadied his mind and held up his guard, just incase something bad happens.. He reached forward and grabbed string. Causing his eyes to widen as there was a bright light...

Once  it died down — he found himself in the afterlife, right in front of 4 individuals who were currently sitting down. He recognized three of them right of the bat.. Rebecca, Dorio, and Maine. His eyes trailed to the last one. She was a beautiful girl with almost cat-like features. David had a feeling on who was this person..

David: "Sasha Yakovleva.." He muttered to himself.

Sasha got up from the seat, starting to leave the Afterlife. . And David Followed her. That's when they stopped right in front of Biotechnica.

Sasha hacked into the door managed to get in open.. David followed inside, watching her hope over the desk. That's when the camera's shut off.

David and Sasha was now in an Elevator.. David wondering if they just teleported but he pushed that thought away. He looked into Sasha's eyes. It was filled with determination. David shook his head as they were now in front of the main room.. Sasha went over to the computer while David followed right behind. She sat down in the chair, setting up her little equipment.

David: "Why Biotechnica..?" He muttered to himself as he continued to watch her.

David was now in the net with Sasha, watching her do her thing.. After ending a Call with Maine, a big CONFIDENTIAL file appear in front of them. This piqued his interest and wanted to know what was in that fill.

David appeared in a white room, with a little Sasha, looking at her mom in a hospital Bed. David couldn't help but feel a bit sad for her mother.. His eyes trailed to the pills on the table and saw the Symbol.. BIOTECHNICA'S Symbol. 

David appeared back right back by Sasha, in the net — standing in front of the Confidential File. She opened the file, with the Flashes of Sasha's memories where shown to David.. After reading the confidential Information — David was horrified. Those pills Sasha's mother were taking. . It was Killing her. They were back in the real word and David took a good look in her eyes. It was full of anger and Hatred. David felt anger as well after reading all that and what those pills did to Sasha's mother.

They will finally feel the flames

We're not planning to return.

Sasha hooked her jack to the computer, made sure her Pistol was in lock and loaded.

Maine(On Call): "Shit-- Sasha! Where are you!"

Sasha:"...Sorry." With that said, she hung up.

There was big blast, catching David's attention.

Robots start shooting at Sasha's location, making her throw a grenade.. She leaped from behind cover, going in for the kill. David could only watch but he was brought to some place.. He looked around and spotted Sasha Dancing.. with a sad smile on her face.

A Picture of Kid Sasha smiling flashed in his mind but he noticed that  while Sasha was dancing, Tears was slipping from her eyes.

David watched her fight off the Machines as best as she could. He watched her jump away, right in front of the big window and pulled out her pistol, shooting at the Machine..

The download was complete and Sasha got hit, causing her to crash through the big glass . . Falling to her death. David ran and saw her falling. He watched in horror as he felt Tears run down his cheek.

David was brought back into a white room where The Older and  Younger Sasha was hugging.. The Younger one was crying but the Older one was smiling..

The Older Sasha looked up at David, staring directly into his eyes.. She gave him a small wave and that same smile she had. He couldn't move because of the shock. All he did was watch that she waved and smile at him.  It was a calm smile filled with sadness and acceptance..

His body moved Quickly towards her as he held his hand forward, trying to grab her.

David: "SASHA!!" He Screamed. All Sasha did was close her eyes and looked down at her younger self, while David's vision went black.. A few seconds later, his vison was back and he looked all around but his heart stopped when he looked down.

He was on top of a Car.. with Sasha's body laying down on it.

The shocking part was. .That Sasha' died with a small smile.. Suddenly, he was brought back into the room of Fates. He dropped to his knees, breathing a little heavily. He didn't know where to burst out crying or Scream.

He couldn't let this happen. He HAD too change her fate.

David: "Aya!" He yelled out. A Few seconds later, She appeared.. Aya was shocked that David was in the room of Fate.

Aya: "David? How did you get here? How LONG were you here?" She asked.

David: "There's no time for that! Can you help me Change her fate!"  He pointed to the  Sasha's String. Aya looked and read the name on the string..

Aya: "Oh Sasha's..I guess you saw her she died. . . . Fine David. Since you are my vessel, You will have to learn someday how to change's others fate." David was happy that Aya was willing to help him.

Aya: "Concentrate all your might and focus on that string. When you do that. . Say "Sasha  Yakovleva, I command thy fate to be changed!" I'll teach you the rest  of my powers someday, but not now." David nodded.

David focused everything he had onto that string. His eyes held determination — He was going to make sure that this girl lives!

David: "Sasha Yakovleva! I command thy fate to be changed!" He yelled.. Next thing he you know..

Both Aya and David was Engulfed by a Bright Light.

David was waking up, causing  him to groan as he stretched. He realized what happened earlier and managed to wake himself up quickly. He stood up quickly and looked around the roam and saw a stranger laying  on the bed that was a few steps away from him.

He squinted his eyes at the figure in the bed wondering who it was until it clicked — That was Sasha Yakovleva! His eyes widened at this discovery. He really managed to bring her back from the dead. That's definitely going in his most memorable moments.

He walked over to Sasha, and gently shook her..

David: "Hey..Hey. Wake up." Sasha was woken up by the shaking and she groan in displeasure of being woken up. David stepped back, letting Sasha get some room to move.

She rolled over and kicked her feet out of the bed, planting them straight on to the ground.. She looked up at David who was giving her a small smile.

Sasha: 'Wait. . who is he again? Hold on..' she started to feel her body, and found it was solid. 'I'm alive..! But how?! . .Could it be that— No, that's impossible.' She had a lot of questions that needed to be answered. David so her facial expression which was mixed of  confusion and surprise. 

David: "I'm sure you have some questions, right?" He asked while sitting next to her on the bed. Sasha, looked over to him, giving him a small nod.

David: "Well as you can see, your back from the dead." He revealed that vital piece of information to her.. Sasha refused to believe that was true..

Sasha: "That can't be right.. There is no way you can bring people back from the dead."

David: "But its the truth—" He was cut off.

Sasha: "Show me! Show me proof that you are able to do that..!" David didn't know how to show her that he was telling the truth. 

Aya: "Grab her hand, and I'll pull both of you into my Domain.. I'll explain everything to  her." She said to David — in his head of course.

David sighed before grabbing on to Her hand.  This caught her off guard and before she could pull away and ask what the hell was wrong with him — Aya pulled them into her Domain.

She looked around in the empty void..

Sasha: "Where are we..?"

Aya: "In the my domain child, at least the void part of it." Aya appeared right in front of them, causing Sasha to scream from the supposed jumpscare.. David snickered when Aya scared Sasha..

Once she stopped screaming, she looked over at David with an adorable pout..

Sasha: "That's not funny! Stop snickering!" She was embarrassed that she got scared from that, jumpscare.

Aya herself, chuckled when Sasha screamed..

Aya: "Now, Now, It's time for me to explain what is happening here." The Goddess of Fate went on to explain what was happening. David getting a second chance at Life, Him being her new Vessel, Then to him saving and changing her fate.

Sasha absorbed the information rather quickly and stayed quiet during the explanation. That was until she pulled David into a Tight hug.

Sasha: "Thank you, thank you, thank you.. Thank you both!" She said happily as a few tears slipped from her eyes. David gave her a Soft smile before hugging her back.

David: "Your welcome . .I couldn't let someone like you die now. You deserve a happy ending.." Sasha looked into his eyes, to find out if he was lying or not.. 

Sasha: 'He's not lying.. A happy ending for me..?' Her heart was beating faster — For the boy who saved her life and promised  her a happy ending.

Aya did a fake cough to catch their attention.

Aya: "Now, that's over with. .I'll keep Sasha with me, and explain some other things, while you go and continue your mission." She said.. David and Sasha looked at each other, giving each other a nod. They broke out of the hug while Sasha calmly walked over to Aya and stood by her.

David closed his eyes, going back into the real world. When he opened his eyes, he found himself back on the bed but with no Sasha on the side of him. He stood up and got dressed — It was time for his first encounter with Lucy.

Right now, David was in the Train, looking out of the window. Though he was concentrating, waiting for Lucy to do her thing.. Soon enough, Lucy made her move. David felt something his chip slip out, so he quickly activated the Sandevistan and maneuvered his way to the side of her, grabbing her wrist.. In Reality, It was like a blur when he moved.

Lucy gasped and looked to the side of her only to see David holding her wrist. They stayed like that few a few seconds, staring into each other's eyes.. Until Lucy roughly pulled her arm away from him then grabbed his wrist..

Lucy: "Come on." She pulled them along with her to a little secluded part on the train.

Lucy: "So what's your angle, spill it."

David: "What? My angle?" Good thing he remember his words from the first encounter.

Lucy: "What do you want, your messing up my work."

David: " Work huh, If I'd know any better. I'd say you were a picksocket." Lucy narrowed her eyes at Him.

Lucy: "So what, your gonna put cuffs on me?"

David: "Can't believe your a petty thief.." 

Lucy placed both hands on the sides of his head, sliding them down to gently caress his cheeks before sliding her  hands down all the way down to his neck and chest.. Wasn't going to be fazed by this one. Seeing as he was used to Lucy's teasing methods.. If Anything, this brought back nostalgia.

Lucy: "Hmm~ Do I know you?" Her tone sounded seductive for a second but, David knew better this time.

David: "No, I don't think so..?" He raised an eyebrow at her. 

That's when Lucy pulled down David's Jacket and turned him around — pressing him against the window, while gripping his chin. That's when she started to run a scan on him and David let her. With his boosted up strength from being the Vessel of Aya — He could easily take her down.

Lucy: "Ah..~ Looky here boy, you are in trouble." She was interested in what she founded.. 

Lucy: "Really? A Sandevistan? Damn, do tell me where you found it. Wait.. Curiosity kills the cat and all that. . Hey! Crazy Idea. How about we work together?" She suggested but, David knew the real Reason why she switched up quickly..

David: "Doing what, stealing??" He asked.

Lucy: "Is it stealing if I only hit Arasaka suits?" David looked over to her..

David: "Come on. Do I look corpo to you?" 

Lucy: "Funny you should ask. Scan did pick up an Arasaka Academy ID, but you're right, you definitely don't look the type, that's for sure."  David tightened up a fist before completely relaxing it.

 David: "I uh.. Dropped out."

Lucy: "Ah! What a bad boyo..~"

David: "So, you just target 'Saka huh?" He narrowed his eyes. Just mentioning them made him feeling anger, Most of all to Adam Smasher.

Lucy smiled before letting him go..

Lucy: "Why you in? Gonna break poor mama's heart if she finds out, you know." David thought about it and it would break her heart — to see her son targeting 'saka. However he couldn't falter and must complete his mission..

Lucy and David went on to steal from the Corps that were currently on board.. They got off board. Aya helped David bleed and pass out so he was able to get some help from Lucy. The doc they went to, turned on them but Lucy managed to take David and Escape.

Now,  she brought him to a Ripperdoc but that David trusted . . to say the least. She invited him to her home and they got to talking. Lucy got close to him and lecture him about following his dream. David could feel the warmth radiating off of Lucy's body.

Now, they were on the moon, Well not the actual moon of course.

David: "Whoa! Check out this resolution! I can feel the fucking sun."

Lucy: "That's through your personal link. It's what allows you to feel the heat of the sun. Of course, you'd be fried crispy if I gave you the actual temp. I made sure to lower the settings, mellow out the experience." David was floating in the air having fun.

Lucy: "Dial it back up?" She asked.

David: "No way, this is totally Preem!" Lucy laughed at David

Lucy: "You look Ridiculous!"

They were both jumping together and having fun.

They were trying on the Helmets to see what it was like. Right now, they were sitting next to each other.

Lucy: "First  time, I've shown anyone this.." She confessed.

David: "Oh, Really? Uh, So, like. . Why me?"

Lucy: "Dunno. Guess it just felt right. . . I got this feeling that you and I will make a pretty good team." She looked at him with a smile. David looked at her as well. Lucy felt connected to David in a way and David already knew why.

David: "I . . Think so too." That's when he saw the red flicker in her eyes. When David saw that, he knew that she called Maine.

David: 'Alright. .Here goes nothing.' He looked back up at the Earth, Waiting for Maine to interrupt.

Maine: "You fell over the edge, punk." David simply grinned at those words that were displaying right infront of him. He was forcefully taken out of the simulation, and when he looked up he saw them..

Maine: "Tough deal, but . .That Implant you chipped is all mine! I'll be taking it back now." His big metal hand glowed as he tightened it into a fist. Which didn't scare David. 

David looked over to Lucy, who was just smoking while this all happened, he could see the anxiety and anxiousness in those half-lidded eyes. He looked back over to Maine who threw a punch towards David, but David was faster than him of course.. So he quickly jumped up into the air, Landing on the big Metal Fist, which caught everyone by surprise.. Then did a backflip away from Maine, landing on  his feet perfectly planted on the floor.

Lucy didn't expect this from David at all. She was sure he already had Him figured out.. David just gave them a small glare..

David: 'Well, Its showtime.'

Chapter Text

The tension was thick, too thick that you could almost cut it with a knife. Behind his shades — Maine was glaring at David. Dorio was looking, more like staring at him. It was like she was in a trance when looking at the boy. That was due to her being connected by to David by fate . . and Aya was speeding up the process of Dorio developing Feelings for David.

Pilar was looking at David as he found the kid interesting. Some people were too late to move when that big fist comes close but David — he managed to move out the way in a quick few seconds. He knew, there were more that meet's the eye when it came to him.

Lucy, she didn't expect this in the slightest. David moving out of the way, his athleticism. It was  something out of completely  nowhere. She realized something, what if David was hiding more than he let on? Or he showed her only what he wanted her to see?

David was looking at Maine with a Glare, waiting to see if he or anyone else is going to make the first move. If they attack, he would have to fight back, no doubt about it. Maine was the first one to speak up out of all of them.

Maine: "You got some moves kid.. Now, what the fuck you doing parading in Chrome?" He asked. David remembered that the Sandevistan that's currently on his back belonged to Maine.

David: "The Sandevistan is yours?" He played dumb, couldn't exactly tell him 'Oh I know it was yours' can he? Maine Crossed his arms as frowned.

Maine: "Bet your ass. That's right. It was all bought and paid for except my Supplier ghosted once I put down."  David for a few seconds with a gloomy expression before he immediately masked it with an serious expression.. They noticed that and took note of it.

David: 'Right, Mom was Maine's supplier.' He bitterly said in his mind. Her Death will forever replay in his mind.

David: "Tell me — who was  your supplier?" He asked.

Maine: "Don't think you can order me kid, but the supplier was Gloria Martinez. That name ring any bells to you?" David tightened a fist before relaxing his hand.

David: "Yeah, that's my mother. I'm David Martinez." He revealed his name to them. Maine was shocked and a few others were a bit shocked. Maine was the most shocked because David was Gloria's kid.

Maine: "What?! Your Gloria's brat? What the hell she was thinkin' giving it to you?!"

David: "She didn't.. She died." He clenched his teeth. This caused a some gasps to be heard through the room. Considering Gloria was one of their own — It did hit them hard to learn that she died. "Yesterday."

Maine: "What in the Fuck?! I just talked to her two days ago. What happened? Did the Badges get her or —"

David: "It was a car accident. From some kind of gangoon drive-by — got caught in the crossfire. Nothing to do with the Sandevistan." It was quiet for a moment before Maine hummed and sat down near Dorio.

Dorio: "Tracks why she never buzzed us back.." She spoke up while giving the kid a look of sympathy and worry. Usually Dorio wouldn't falter but with Aya's influence and her connected to David — she was slowly changing. 

Maine: "Condolences, kid. That's tough, but still don't think for a second that makes things free and easy for you." David walked over and sat on the couch across from them. 

David: "Look, I didn't know that it was yours."

Pilar: "Yeah I remember being a squirt, Chippin' all the mil-specchrome my ma left lyin' a round.  Good times, Good times.  Christ, this twerp's clearly got a circ loose." David 's eye twitched after hearing that but he held his tongue. He didn't need to fuck up his chances of saving them.

Dorio: "Back off. He didn't know what he was doing." She scolded him. 

David: "So you guys are Cyberpunks aren't you?" Maine pulled down his shades to look in straight in the eye.

Maine: "What's it to ya?"

David: "Look, let me keep the Sandy.. Can't pay you back just now, but I'll work it off. One gig at a time, as long as it takes." Lucy was looking at David, she didn't say anything but looked like she wanted to.

Maine: "Not good enough. shit's Military-grade. Can't just buy another off the shelf."

David: "Whatever you paid my mom, I'll get it back."

Maine: "No Deal." He quickly responded.

Lucy: "I said, no murder." She reminded them.

David: "Come on! At least give me a chance." 

Maine: "Now that's funny.. I look like I run a preschool to ya?"

David: "I'll fire up the Sandevistan.." He offered.

Pilar: "Bullshit. Toddler like you can't boot it up without keelin' over-" He was cut David moved like a blur and back to his original position. 

David: "This your cig'?" He held up to him and before they good do anything, he use the sandevistan to put it back between Pilar's fingers before sitting back down. 

David: "That makes Ten. Ten uses of the Sandevistan in one day." David's nose wasn't bleeding because of his improved body, thanks to Aya.  They were flabbergasted except for Lucy was just looking at David — she was thinking of something  but what could it be?

Soon enough they agreed to give David a chance by him helping them complete a job. Lucy put a tracker on David, due to Maine's order. Soon enough, they all left and now It was just David and Lucy.

David: "So, cyberpunks. Those were the kind of peeps you roll with." He said.  Lucy just gave him an "Mhm." Though what David said next was something she didn't expect.

David: "I don't hate you for doing this. If anything, I'm glad." He said. Her eyes widened a bit as she almost dropped her cigarette.

Lucy: "What do you mean? How are you glad? How do you not hate me?" She asked many questions as she stopped leaning on a platform  then walked up behind him. She wanted answers.

David just turned around giving her a smile, placing a hand on her shoulder. Which on some instinct, she placed her hand on top of his.

David: "You will know soon enough.. I'll tell you, but only when the time is right. Now, isn't the right time." Lucy's mind was racing as she was thinking about what he said. Many thoughts and questions were going to stay unanswered for a while. David could see that she trying to think about it all. The confusion and conflict  that was swimming in her eyes said it all.

David: "Don't  think about it all. Just know, I'll tell you what I mean soon enough. Now, have a good night. Okay?" He removed his hand from her shoulder before walking towards the door. 

Lucy held her hand out towards David when he walked out..

Lucy: "Wait..-" The door closed behind him. Now she was alone, by herself. Out of no where, Tears started rolling down her cheeks. What was happening to her, Why was she crying? She doesn't know what was happening to her but she knows one thing..

She didn't want him to leave..

It was morning and David was getting Ready to go to the location he agreed to meet them at. He was putting on his Jacket when he heard someone speak inside of his mind.

Sasha: "Uhm.. David? Can you hear me?"

This caught David off guard. Usually it's Aya who usually speak inside of his mind, but now it seems Sasha could too. The question is how though..

David: "Sasha? How are you able to speak into my mind?" He asked.

Sasha: "Oh! That's all thanks to Aya! She was able to get that to happen.  I know I shouldn't be surprise that a Goddess was able to do that, but I can't help it." David let out a small chuckle.

David: "Of course it was Aya.. well, stick along with her and you will see surprises at every corner." He joked, earning a small giggle from Sasha.

Sasha: "Anyways.. Are you going to tell them about me? You know, about me not being dead now?" David hummed. . Yeah that was something he had to think about.

David: "I will bring it up when the time comes. Can't exactly do that now, since some of them are a bit hostile. If I were to bring you up at the moment then, well — things will go south pretty quickly." 

Sasha: " Hmm.. Good point. Well, I'll let you go and handle your business. .Aya and I will continue to watch you, as you go." 

David: "Alright, see you until then." They both ended their mental link while David sighed.

David: "Back to doing the first Gig. Heh, Time to have a little fun." He grinned while leaving his apartment and leaving to go at the meet-up place.

[TimeSkip]

"You never had to SAVE me. All I ever WANTED was for you to LIVE."

He arrived to the place and he bent down to look into the garage. That was when he saw Maine looking Directly at him.

Maine: "Over here kid." He motioned him to follow before heading back into the room. David sighed before going into the garage and then into the room. That was where he was met with all of them.. However his eyes drifted onto Kiwi — the girl who crossed the Cyberpunks by working with Faraday to capture Lucy.

David: 'Hey Aya, got any Idea on how to stop Kiwi from switching over to Faraday?' 

Aya: 'I could do the same thing I'm doing with Dorio and Speed up the "process".  That'll stop her from switching over.' She suggested it.. David gave a nod.

David: 'Alright, do your thing.' Aya cut off the mental link and went straight to work. Kiwi was now staring at David not with a cold glare, but with a little lust and a little happiness.. David saw the switch emotions in her eyes.

David: 'Shit, that was too fucking quick.' He sweat dropped at Kiwi's change in her eyes. He then shifted his eyes over to the rest of the crew.

Maine: "Mornin' Sunshine.. You ready?" 

Kiwi: "Data wasn't lying. He is just a kid. Can he keep up?" 

Maine: "Guess we will see.." Pilar interrupted them.

Pilar: "Now, Now. I know he's a sweet little thang, but keep thos grubby mitts to yourself." Kiwi had a glint of Danger in her eyes.. 

Kiwi: "Why do we even put up with you?" She wasn't going to listen to Pilar.. She was going to have David, One way or another.

Maine explained everything on what the gig they were doing. They were targeting someone named Maxim — an Arasaka Bodyguard. They were gonna swipe the nav Data from his Limo. He explained step-by-step on how they were going to do it. 

Cutting to the scene where David was leaning on a counter in a bar that was right by Maxim.. He used his Sandevistan to take the key and quickly made his way and gave the Chip to Dorio. Though there was a change of plans. Since he woke up, Maine told David to take the key and nab the Car.. and that was what he was just about  to do.

 He dashed out and went to the car. He got inside of the car with Lucy. More specially — He got in to the driver's seat. He stayed quiet so Lucy could focus on breaking the Ice wall she was hacking.

However the security was back on line the moment she broke through. They were out of time and Maxim was shooting the Window David was behind. 

David: 'Thank fuck these windows were bullet proof.'

Maine: "Start her up Kid!" He  told him. David wasted no time and started up the Car.. Though this time around, he didn't crash into the polls.

Maine: "Hahaha! Nice little driving there Kid! I thought you were going to crash the moment you started her up." David was a bit embarrassed by that memory.. Lucy giggled 

Maine: "Take it straight to Aldo's. You has  the GPS?"

Lucy: "Can't from Inside. Got a jammer up,  but encryption's shaky. They'll snatch our position soon unless we find solid cover.

David: "Think we will make it?" He asked her. She looked over and gave him a smirk. Lucy sent him the route before speaking.

Lucy: "It's up to you now..~ Look at you. You're practically a Pro."

David: "You think so?"

Lucy: "I mean, maybe if the autopilot wasn't on." David rolled his eyes before replying.

David: "Whatever."

Lucy: "We've got company." A screen popped up showing two Tyger claw members on bikes, following them. A hit squad..

David: "Shit.. Is that Tyger Claws?!" He narrowed his eyes at the screen before putting his attention back on to the road.

Aya: "Check your Pocket David. Got you a little Gift, Use it!" She said.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out an Overture.

Lucy: "This is why we don't fuck with corpos-" She froze when she saw David pull out a gun. "Where did you get that gun from..?"

David: "I've always had it on me." He lied smoothly. Lucy narrowed her eyes.

Lucy: "Riiiight.." She didn't believe it for one second.

He rolled the window down and stuck his head arm out.. Aiming at the Tyger Claws. He started to shoot at them, Hitting one right in the head. Lucy looked backed and saw one of them fall off of their bikes.

Lucy: "Holy shit, nice shooting." She complimented. He pulled himself back inside and kept driving.. Though it seems they were almost caught in Traffic. Keyword Almost. David got them out of that situation because he used his Sandevistian to do some Matrix-Glitchy-Shit to hop over on to the other side of the highway.

They made it to the location, Aldo was at.

David: "Seems shut tight."

Lucy: "Aldo should be inside.. At least the jammer is still running stable."

David: "Yeah.." He muttered as both of them got out of the car. 

David: "Stay here I'll scope it out." He went and scope it out, just like he said.. He heard engines revving and he knew it was that lone Tyger claw.. He quickly jumped out of the way and far away from him, landing on his feet. 

Tyger Goon: "You think your hot shit, pulling a stunt like that. For that.. YOU MUST DIEE!!~" However David had other plans.

David dashed forward and Lucy was amazed at his speed.. The Tyger couldn't react quickly enough, causing him to get a Devastating elbow into his stomach.

The Tyger claw hunched over do to impact and Martinez took this opportunity to equip his Overture and blast him his head to bits. The Tyger Claw was dead and done for. 

Lucy: "Wow.." Is all she could say at the moment."

[Timeskip]

"Sign me up, Choomba. Into the Fire."

Since the gig was done, the crew was having a little party, right now — David and Maine was talking.

Maine: "Ain't no one in this world you can trust more than yourself. Start using us as your crutch and you're as good as dead." He said as he ruffled David's hair. Maine gave David some Immunoblockers.  Then Maine went on to tell David that meat and bones won't able to keep up with the Sandevistan. However with  David's improved body, it can.

David: 'Yeahhh no.. I learned my lesson when I chromed myself the second time.' He thought. He went all out and chromed his body Fully. Which was a damn mistake to do and he was not going to deal with the drawbacks of that.

Then he remembered What happened to Maine, how he went off the edge..

David: 'Can I even save him from that..?' His train of thought was cut off when a car pulled and David fully recognized that damn car and the person that stepped out of it. He narrowed his eyes in anger.

David: 'Faraday..'  He balled his hands up into a fist and tightened them.

Maine: "Shit.." He got up and went on to talk with Faraday. After that heavily tensed talk David walked up to Maine.

Maine: "That was Faraday. The Middleman who landed us the gig. He happens to be a top fixer around these parts."

David: "Thought you were the big boss making all the calls."

Maine: "Nah, I'm the guy who gets shit done. And he's the one holdin' all the eddies. Without him and his scratch, you ain't nothing with all this biz."

David: 'Now that's a lie.. If Anything, Rogue is the top Fixer.'

Maine: "It's as simple as that. . Don't think so hard about it. Tonight we celebrate."

David looked all over the party and spotted Lucy, Who was looking at him.. It looked like her face was conflicted.. This wasn't something he remembered during his first Run. Lucy eventually looked away from him.

???: "Yo!" David looked over, well down to see who was calling him. It was Rebecca, a Person he didn't save due to his incompetence. 

 David: "Sorry. . Who are you?" Rebecca smirked at him before saying something that shocked him to his core.

Rebecca: "Come on Choomba, don't play stupid. You think I don't know your from the future?"

David had an expression of surprise. This shouldn't be happening. How the hell did she Know right away?!

David: "How did you—"

Rebecca: "Like you, I was given a second chance. Only you and me were given this chance. Seems whoever was watching us, didn't take to kindly of me being killed by Adam Smasher."

David: "Then is Lucy.." He trailed off.

Rebecca: "No, No.. I don't think so. Though from how she was looking at you, It is possible she is starting to remember what happened during our first life."

David: "Shit.."

Rebecca: "Shit indeed Choom, now — how did you come back here?" David was hesitant and went on to explain how and why he came back.

Rebecca: "A Goddess.. You being her vessel and successor.. Shit David I'd say you hit the fucking jackpot! Plus you get a Harem of girls? Your a lucky as fuck my man." He was dumbfounded.

David: "You believe me that easily..?"

Rebecca: "Damn right Choomba! After everything we went through together, Of course I do!" David Smiled after hearing that.. Rebecca loved seeing him smile.

Rebecca: "Your fucking Cute, you know that David? Since your going to have a Harem n' shit. Hope you don't mind  me being the first girl?"

David: "Wait you love me?" Rebecca scoffed.

Rebecca: "I've always did dumbass, you were just too focused on Lucy to see that." Now, He felt bad for that.. "But, your going to make it up to me, by letting me be your first girl in this run.. Then we will possibly explain the shit to the other girls.. Maybe." David sighed before giving her a nod.

David: "Alright then. Sounds Good. " Rebecca smiled at David before lightly punching his arm.

Rebecca: "Good that you agree! Now, come choomba! Let's have some fucking drinks and have fun!" She grabbed David's hand, taking him into the party with her..

This was indeed a Shocking Revelation. To think that Rebecca was given a Second chance as well but also that she loved him.. Things just took an interesting Turn.

(How was it? Saw the last part as an opportunity to implant a shocking twist.  Rebecca, getting her own second chance, just like David. Like it?)

After finding out that Rebecca was given a second chance at Life — she decided that she would help David. He even introduced her to Aya and Sasha. Though, Aya revealed that she was the one who gave Rebecca a second chance. When she is not talking to David, she is silently working behind the scenes to help him in anyway.

Anyways, Maine gave David a little small Job and that was to get something that was suppose to be delivered to Pilar. Right now, Martinez was standing right In front of Rebecca's and Pilar's door.  He buzzed to let them know that he was there.. However, when the door opened he was met by him staring down into a barrel of a Gun, More specifically Rebecca's Gun.

Rebecca: " Oh, David, My man! What's going on? Everything good?" 

David: "I- Uhm-"

Rebecca: "What's up, choom? You need something?" There was silent before Rebecca burst out in laughter  while pulling her gun away from his face. David shook off his little shocked and looked at her with a depanned expression.

David: "Really Rebecca?" Soon enough she stopped laughing, giving him a playful wink.

Rebecca: "Come on David, It was too good of a chance to pass up."  She giggled. "Now, come here Lover boy!" She pulled him down to her level and smashed her lips against his, catching him by surprise.

However, David gave in and Kissed her back.. The kiss was more on the rough side. Even if it was Rough, It held Passion and love. They both broke the kiss after a minute and Rebecca was smirking while looking at David blush.

Rebecca: "Damn David, your a good kisser you know that?~" She purred before  giggling. . Taking the package from David.

David: "Well thank you..? Your a good kisser as well." He was a bit embarrassed but he truly meant what he said. Rebecca playfully rolled her eyes before finally giving Pilar his package and then David's pay.

Rebecca: "Now, I assume you got shit to do today?" She questioned while David straightened up.

David: "Yeah, I got to think of ways to save everyone." Rebecca tapped her chin.. as she started to think.

Rebecca: "Well, saving my brother would be easy.. All we have to do is get rid of the Cyberpsycho before he tries anything. Kiwi.. However Maine . .From what you told me — goes Cyberpsycho as well, right? NOW that is. . . I don't think you will be able to Save Maine." She said  in complete honesty.

David had a feeling she was going to say that about Maine. He, too couldn't think about any solutions about saving Maine.

David: "I guess your right. . I've been thinking  on ways to save Him since last night, however I'm getting nothing. I . . Really can't save him?" Rebecca noticed the sad tone in his voice. She frowned before giving David a comforting hug.

Rebecca: "I know it's hard to accept that. Sometimes you can't save everyone.. It's impossible. There will sometimes be sacrifices — where you will have to pick one person over the other. One lives while the other dies.. You get it?" She explained.

David: "Yeah. . I get it." Even though he understood what she was saying and completely accepting it — he still didn't like that he can't find away to save him. 

She gently patted his back before breaking their hug.

Rebecca: "Not all people can get happy endings. For folk like us? Wrong city, wrong people. . Now, go on and handle the things you have to do. I got to get ready." David nodded before gently patting her head, in which she enjoyed..

David: 'Now. . On to with my Eventful Day..'

David: "Fuck that Guy.." He was now IN front of Lucy who told him what Maine said.

Lucy: " I'll say, on my day off to."  

David: "Sorry your stuck with me."

Lucy: "No, It's a good thing because your going to be answer some questions that I need to ask." She turned her head towards him with her eyes narrowed. David wondered why she wanted to talk to him, then remembered what Rebecca said.

"She's probably remembering what happened doing her first Life."

He gulped before nodding.

David: "Alright. .Cool." 

They both started to go on a Run with David following her from behind. It was mostly silent.. Which David saw as a Red Flag. He could feel it, the air was tense around them.. He only hoped that whatever happens, goes well. He kept running and following her. Eventually they were started going up buildings until they arrived at a specific spot. A spot that David remembered all too well.

Both of them sat across from each other and they were quiet.. Until Lucy Spoke up.

Lucy: "Say David, do you get Visions?"

David: "Visions? No, can't say I have."

Lucy: "Well, I've been getting them lately. It all started when you touched my shoulder." David kept a calm composure and tilted his head a bit to the side.

David: "Mind describing these visions to me?" Lucy stared at him intently before  moving her attention too the moon.

Lucy: "I've seen visions of us together, us being together.. Me being kidnapped by Kiwi and Faraday.. Among other visions. You must know what is going on, right?" David couldn't lie, It will only make Lucy snoop around and be more on guard around him.

David sighed before speaking up.

David: "Those visions you are seeing.. Those are your memories." Lucy looked back at David, raising an eyebrow.

Lucy: "Memories? How are they memories."

David: "I guess I should start at the beginning.. You see, I'm from the future in a way. I was killed when fighting Adam Smasher. I managed to get a second chance at life. In my first life, You and I were a couple.. We were together —" David went on telling her the whole truth also him being the successor of a Goddess. Lucy had the look of disbelief on her face.

She knew he wasn't lying at all. With her being connected to David, she knew he was telling the truth. It took her a few minutes to process everything,,

Lucy: "I. . .Don't know how to respond.  . . That's why you didn't hate me.  You knew what was going to happen and how things will play out." David stayed quiet to let Lucy process everything,

Lucy: "Was I . . A good girlfriend?"

David: "You sure was.. You stuck with me through hell and back." Even the little fight they both had, didn't break them up. Lucy had a small smile after hearing his  response..

Lucy: "This time David. . I will get you too the moon with me. No matter what." She said.

David: "But what about Rebecca and the other girls—"

Lucy: "We Don't talk about them." She said in a dark tone. David clearly saw that she was jealous. It will take some time to adjust that she would have to Share David.

David: "Okay, Okay. I won't . .for now."

Lucy huffed before crawling over to David and sitting directly on to his lap.

Lucy: "I'm willing to share... Even though I don't like it. However, I'm going to be the main girl, Understand?"

David: "But Rebecca's the—"

Lucy: "I'm. The. Main. Girl." She glared at him. David gulped before nodding quickly — agreeing. He didn't need to get on her bad side. Who knows what she'll do behind close doors to him.. With those wires of hers..

David: 'I just know Rebecca is going to fight her for that spot— though . . that would be entertaining to see.' 

Lucy leaned in and capture David's lips into a passionate kiss. 

David: 'Might as well, bask in the bliss of this kiss . . and getting Lucy back. . It was all worth it.'

Every Night that David went to sleep, Aya would help David train in controlling her powers. As the Successor of The Goddess Of Fate and Fortune, He had to be strong and basically the strongest.. Last Night wasn't even different. After Lucy and David parted ways, he went right back to training.

Now it was time for him to get up since the sun was out. He got out of the bed and put on some clothes.

Aya: "You're getting stronger by the day, David. With how things are going during the training, you'll be near my level in no time." She said within his mind. David smiled after hearing that. He was honestly glad he was making progress.

Sasha: "Yup Yup!~ You're going to be the strongest there is in Night City!" She said within his mind as well.

David: "I agree with you and thank you Aya. Now, I won't have to use all that chrome." He wasn't going to chrome the fuck out of his body. He doesn't need to. With how shit went down in the first run, it won't happen again a second time.

Aya: "Indeed you are right, boy. Now, you got to talk to Kiwi and Dorio today.. You won't have to go through the loops and hardships of getting them to join you." David gave a small nod.

David: "Thanks again. . I'll get to know them and bond with them more after I Kill Adam Smasher."

Aya: "After all this is over, maybe you would like to go on another adventure?"

David: "Huh, I don't know. Probably going to relax and celebrate when I finish everything.. Though another adventure? That would be awesome, but where would that Adventure start?"

Aya: "Hey, Who knows?"

David: "Hey Aya, do you know what happened when I died in my first life? Like who's taking Night City by Storm?" Aya hummed as she looked through the possibilities and the Fates.

Aya: "Well since you died in your first run.. Right now, there is someone that goes by the name of V that's currently going around trying to get Rid of a Chip, since it's killing her."

David: "Chip?"

Aya: "Yeah, It's Some kind of Relic with Night City Legend Johnny Silverhand's Engram on it. It's slowly killing her."

David: "Yikes.. Wouldn't want to be her."

Aya: "Agreed."

After David was finished getting dressed, he left his apartment and started to make his way over to Dorio's location.. Which if he remembered right — right now she should be training. When he got there, he saw her hitting the punching bag.

David: "Hey, Dorio!" He yelled out, causing the veteran to turn her head to David. When her eyes landed on David, she had a big smile, and love could be seen clearly in her eyes.

Dorio: "David! Wasn't expecting you here." She said while he was walking towards her, stopping right near her.

David: "Well, I wanted to come and see you. Check up on you. How have you been?" Dorio stood up straight, showing off her . . godly abs. David couldn't stop staring at them. However, Dorio's little chuckle snapped him back t o reality. He realized what he was doing and was blushing.

Dorio: "So Adorable...~" David let out a nervous chuckle..

Dorio: "Well David I've been doing fine. ."

David: "That's good to hear —" They went on to talk and clown around. Dorio even showed him some fighting tips. Though, the fun had to stop after a few hours because He had to go and find Kiwi. He was walking on the sidewalk and tried to get in contact with Kiwi via call. She eventually answered.

Kiwi:  " David? What do you need?"

David: "Hey Kiwi, I was wondering if you want to hangout for a bit." Kiwi took some time to respond and eventually agreed. Kiwi gave him a specific location to meet up at. He ran to the location thanks to the heightened attributes, he got there pretty quickly.

Kiwi eventually arrived, and they both talked and joked around a bit. It's been at least an hour since all this happened. Now, It was time to David to tell Kiwi some vital information.

David: "Hey Kiwi..Do me a favor, never trust Faraday." She looked at him, with a raised Eyebrow.

Kiwi: " What do you mean..?"

David: "If Faraday ever comes to you with a deal, don't accept it. I've done some digging on him. He doesn't like loose ends. With the top secret Information he might relay to you one day. He will kill you if you try to back out of the deal." Kiwi furrowed her brows. Something deep inside of her was telling her that he was telling the truth. Even her mind and heart was telling her to trust his words.

Kiwi: "Alright David.. Something is telling me to trust you. I can tell that what you're saying is true as well. So. . I won't trust Faraday." Good thing David looked at Kiwi's fate of her first life.

Soon they got a call from Maine telling them to come over. David knew it was time to save Pilar..

[Timeskip]

The whole crew went on to do things together, even going to the Afterlife and having drinks. Now they were walking down the sidewalk when David saw the man that Killed Pilar, peeing from a crate. Pilar went over to the man and David stopped walking and watched. . waiting for the right moment to strike.

Pilar: "Hey Quiet Down!" Rebecca and David looked at each other, nodding before looking back at the Man. Pilar went on and clowned and made fun of the man. Both David and Rebecca pulled out their guns and without hesitation, filled the Cyberpsycho with Lead. Pilar was quick to move out of the way, well more like hop down off of the big crate.

Pilar: "The Fuck you two?!"

David: "That fucker was up to something. Just looking into his eyes, I knew he was going to go Psycho."

Rebecca: " Damn Right! I saw the fucker was almost ready to shoot ya bro! I didn't want you to die!" Pilar looked over to His little sister and gave her a genuine smile.

Pilar: "Thank you lil sis, you as well David. Guess you saved my life." He laughed lightly. Both Rebecca and David looked at each other with a knowing smile.

Rebecca/David: "We know." They high-fived each other. Lucy rolled her eyes, while Dorio simply smirked. Kiwi placed her hands on her hips while Maine had a smile as well.

Maine: "Come on, Let's go!"

David and Rebecca saved Pilar from his death. .Job well done in their book.

Chapter Text

Right now, David was just sitting with Maine. They were talking about getting David some new Implants, more specifically Pilar's Gold hands however he declined it. He didn't want those implants.. With Aya backing him and training him, he didn't need shit, though maybe he might get one in the near future. He was damn near unstoppable, despite his regular figure.

Maine leaned in close to him.

Maine: "Wait up, there's something different 'bout you. I can tell. You usually mope around, kill the vibes . . the resident buzzkill" David kept his half-perfect poker face and raised an eyebrow.

David: "Am not.. Ain't no different from Yesterday, just calm-headed and realistic." He said smoothly.

Maine: "No, something is. You got Laid didn't ya?" Maine had that cheeky smile. David in truth did get laid. It was after Saving Pilar that Lucy, Rebecca, Kiwi, Dorio, and David -- had sex.

(No Lemon sorry- Ain't in the mood right now to write one.)

Maine: " You did. Ah, gotta work on that poker face, dawg." Kiwi came from behind the curtain causing both Maine and David to look at her. Kiwi just gave a wink at David, and Maine caught that. However he didn't say shit.

Maine: " Sup, Kiwi? Gimme some good news." She just sighed, knowing she ain't got much.

Kiwi: "Got Zilch." She said before taking a seat next to David. She had a cigarette in her mask and David always wanted to know how the hell she does that when she has no mouth.

Kiwi: "Tanaka beefed up his security after our last fuck up. Tried poking holes, but I got no-go after no-go."

Maine: " Like I was saying, Our wheels be spinnin' until Faraday gives us some traction."

David: "Wait a Minute, Tanaka?"

Maine: "Don't you remember baby's first grand theft auto? 'Saka Limo was his. Why is that a problem?

David: "Nah, It's nothing." He said as he clearly remembers that name.

Kiwi: "Well, lookie here. You and Tanaka's Kid, classmates?" David just glared at Kiwi and she looked back at him. David could imagine it now -- He can tell if she had a mouth she would be smirking behind that mask.

Maine: "Say what?! Kiwi, are you accusing our punk kid of goin' to some stiff-ass corp school?" David heard Sasha snicker in his mind at David's now spilled little secret.

Sasha: "Busted~" David just shook his head.

Kiwi: "Bona-fide Arasaka Academy Dropout. Straight-A Student No less." Maine was shocked at what he just heard. David was a Drop-out from the Arasaka Academy.

Maine: "How's that choom, shock'n'awe? Well shit. . Guess that explains why Gloria was always strapped for eds." David just sighed.

David: "Ever heard of a little thing called Privacy?"

They kept talking about Tanaka, Cyberpsycho's and JK. David explained some things about Jimmy Kurosaki, along with many other things. David made some points about Tanaka being alone for the BD Tuning. Now, they were with the crew, planning out on how they were going to do things. They had a solid plan.

Now they were putting it into action. They were out in the open, all in positions with JK walking down the steps. David followed and started to stall however, JK knew this was a set up. He managed to knock out Maine with some sort of high-pitch ring, an EMP. David played like he got knocked out as well. The EMP didn't do anything to him, but he still had to play a part really.

JK took David and left Maine laying on the ground. When the girls woke up Maine and found out that David was taken, they were furious. The girls wanted to kill JK for pulling that little stunt. Now, they were going to get him back, by any means necessary.

Now, back to David -- he was hooked up to a chair, forced to be in the Cyberpsycho BDS.. Though, thanks to Aya, she managed to stop him from being corrupted or hurt during the thing. When Aya forced David out of the BD, He took a look around at his surroundings.

David: 'Sure as hell don't like doing this part again.' He thought in his mind before trying to break free.

JK: "So how was it, a preem high, right? Experiencing your own death instead of another's." David simply glared at the man with intense hatred.

David: "Are you fucking shitting me! A Preem High?! You're a fucking psychopath!" JK simply kept walking towards David with that smug smile on his face.

Jk: "Has it ever tickled your curiosity, wondering how I got my hands on so many cyberpsycho scrolls? You see, all military prototypes come with a built in braindance scroller. Some folks are willing to pay through the nose for that kind of material. " He then walked behind David and grabbed his jacket, pulling it back, revealing the Sandevistan.

JK: " Your sandevistan, do you know who wore it originally? James Norris, that's who. All in All, Norris mowed down 27 people - but that's where MaxTac finally put an end to his killing streak." He had somewhat of a psychotic smile.

JK: "Yes, Take my word. It's not often you find someone who can go toe-to-toe with a Psycho Squad. Oh my what a gem. Truly one of the best I've seen in a long while... I have stellar expectations for you, too." He chuckled before letting go of David's Jacket and spread his arms.

JK: " And what a marvelous surprise that you haven't snapped already! Fight all you want, the sandy will drive you mad, eventually!"

Aya:  "Will this mongrel ever stop talking?"

Sasha:  "He is giving me the creeps and I don't like how you're letting this happen to you David!"

David:  ' I Know I know. I don't wanna hear all this bullshit either but I have to do this and let the crew get her.'

JK: " I cannot wait to capture it!"

David: "I ain't going to go Psycho! Ain't no fucking way!"

JK: "A common belief that all chrome fiends hold on to desperately. They know they're sane until they're not. Another couple of tangos with MaxTac and your brain will pop like a party balloon." He said with a laugh while sitting down in his chair, preparing to Force David to watch that BD again. David tried to get him to stop but, he didn't listen, instead he started up the BD.

Dorio and Lucy made it to David's location. Lucy tried to get him out of the Braindance and ended up successful. David quickly sat up and hunched over, roughly coughing. Lucy went to check up on David. She was worried about him.

In the end, they managed to get JK to help. Now JK and David were alone.

JK: "I like to apologize For earlier"

David: "Don't worry about it.. Kinda surprise really, didn't expect you to help."

JK: "Look, I know how Edgerunners operate. Didn't have much of a choice, Now did I?"

David: "That's true.." He said while pulling out a BD.

JK: "Re-lived that one too, did you?"

David: "Yeah.."

JK: "And yet you installed the Sandy anyway? You really are unhinged, aren't you?"

David: "I'm never gonna end up losing it like he did." JK still had that smile on his face.

JK: "Norris was a soldier. Even he couldn't take it. Not for long. What makes you think you're any different?"

David: "Dunno. . Tough to say. It's just.. Feels right. Like, it's always been a part of me. I'm built different, I just know it." Which was true. He was built different now.

JK: "Believe yourself to be special?"

David: " Why not?"

JK just hummed in amusement.

JK: "I've seen plenty of Chrome jocks go psycho over the years. Some metal's simply are not meant to mix with meat. Your 'ganic body, your soul, gets pushed to the edge. Teeter's on the brink. . And it always ends one of two ways." They stared at each other.

Right now

JK: "You either lose yourself forever. . or die. No in-between." David's mind flashbacked to being killed by Adam Smasher and to Maine being Killed.

Tanaka arrived and JK got to talking. Well JK was more of stalling him. They finally got their target, Tanaka but in the end, JK Died. Before he died, he looked at David, giving me a smile and a small laugh as he was choking on his own blood.

David just looked down at him, he didn't know how to feel about that. They had to move and they did. They took their Target and left.. Leaving JK's body laying down on the floor.
