Chapter 1: Alucard & His Police Woman
Chapter Text
Patrick.
Northern Ireland.
Downtown, August 15.
Cop!
"You God-damned ghouls!" Alucard changed out the clip in his gun as he communicated telepathically to Seras, his newly turned Police Girl.
It's your time to kill, Ms. Victoria! This is too troublesome... Why are you just sitting there? Come! Help me destroy these zombies!
Seras stumbled off the box she was sitting on, surprised by the invasion in her mind.
"Huh What? What's going on?" She voiced out loud, before deciding she could speak in her mind.
Sure. I'm coming. She thought.
Move it! Alucard commanded.
Yes! I'll come! She stood up as she dwelled on her circumstances. She felt as though she was becoming less and less human everyday, even hearing the voice of her master in head.
"Aim, shoot, bang. One round should resolve the problem." Seras had a resolved look on her face. She could easily do as she was told. "My opponents are like dolls... these rotten, inhuman wretches will be simple to destroy."
Brapbrapbrapbrapbrapbrapbrap brap.
The bullets tore through the dead flesh easily with Seras' deadly precision. Alucard need not even interfere. In fact, he had time to sip some blood from a pack while his Police Girl did all the dirty work. "Just keep the work up, you're finally getting it!" As he sucked away at the blood pack, he spoke to himself. "Seras' performing better than I'd expecteed. She may yet be a fitting addition to our blood kin. Bloody boring sometimes though." He looked beside him at a ghoul that had just been dispatched. Examining the work, he decided it could be better. "Cop-- aim for the heart and try to take them out in one shot, okay? They didn't become ghouls by their own choice, you know. Once a man becomes a ghoul, he can never return to his human form. By killing them in one shot, you are minimizing their pain. It's for their own good..."
BLAM!!
Nasty ghoul blood exploded all over the room as her next shot hit dead on in the heart of a nearby zombie. She was talented; Alucard had to give her that. "Sir yes sir, my master!" Seras roared victoriously as she progressed further. She didn't even need her gun for each hit. With a bang, her elbow knocked a particularly ugly ghoul back and her foot smashed its disgusting head open.
"I think you've finally got it. Understand what it means to be a phantom of the night?" He stood up and walked up to his Police Girl. "Quick-- You got rid of the ghouls already, right? Destroy the cardinal vampire, and everything should be at an end!
Suddenly, a massive knife flew straight through her throat. "Who..." Alucard looked around for who could have hurt the woman who he was training.
"What is this?! AHH! NO! HELP ME!" And then, without anymore warning, it felt as though perhaps twenty more massive knives were flying through her body. Her body even flew forward with the power of the weapons penetrating her body. They were painful and shocking. Despite her vampiric power, knives were definitely a hindrance to her.
Chapter 2: Sisters
Chapter Text
"What happened next?!" You bounced on the wooden chair, your arms constricted by the straitjacket that the hospital required when you weren't alone.
"I, uh..." Your sister Seras straightened her jacket as she eyed you suspiciously. "I think that's enough. The nurses said not to get you too worked up. It makes you... difficult."
"Fuck 'em!" You gnashed your teeth, "Tell me, were you bleedin'!? How much blood was there?!"
There was a knock at the door, but that was merely a courtesy. A tall orderly came in to stand over you, intimidatingly. "Enough." He ordered.
"Ordered by the orderly." You scoffed.
"You know, for being dressed up as a doll, you certainly don't act like one." Seras sighed.
"Ah, Sera-ra, my late husband said that as well." You tilted your head side to side. "Best not to judge a book by its cover. Now, either finish your story so I can get off later, or sod off. I've got sooo much to do today!"
Seras laughed at you. "Really? So much? In the asylum?" She stood up and nodded to the orderly. "Very well, I'll let you get on with your busy day, sister."
"Straighten my dress before you go. It gets so wrinkled with this dreadful jacket over it." You swayed side to side.
"Fine, fine. But to finish my story," Seras pulled out your minty, lacey dress that had butterflies over it. She then pulled the wings of each butterfly to make it look as if they were flying. "It was a Knight of the Church Paladin. Father Alexander Anderson. Sir Integra told me that he was from the most powerful group under the Vatican's control; Iscariot. It doesn't officially exist. It specializes in the destruction of the impure souls of demons, heretics and terrorists."
"Sounds delightful." You moaned and writhed. "Are you sure you won't stay to finish the story?"
The orderly knocked you on the back of the head, sending your hair flying forward. "Behave." You sister reminded you.
"Take me home, Sera-ra." You whined.
"Can't. Queen's law." She sighed. "And as a policewoman, I follow her laws to the letter." You pouted, having been knocked back. Not that it had been any kind of hard; but you didn't like it regardless. "Alright, dear sister. I shall come see you again when I have time. Don't get in any more trouble. I can't always come smooth things over with the doctors and nurses." She sighed and slowly began to walk away.
"Fuck 'em." You muttered.
"And your language..." She smiled. "Always so dirty."
You smirked back. It was kind of your trademark; look like a doll, talk like a sailor. "I quite like this... transformation you've had, sister." You added as she walked out the door. "Might have to have one myself, don't you think?"
Seras shook her head as she closed the door. She certainly hoped that you wouldn't become a vampire. Despite the benefits, the drawbacks were substantial. That, and it was a bit traumatic how she, herself, had gone about it. For now, she wanted to spare her younger sister. And so she returned to her master and you returned to the loneliness of the empty asylum room.
Chapter 3: Coffins
Chapter Text
Seras had thrown up after all the excitement that day she had described. Even Sir Integra had shown up at the end of it. And believe it or not, it had lightened the mood.
"That girl... how well did she perform?" Integra asked Alucard. "Has she improved a bit?"
"Ah? The girl cop?" Alucard played dumb. "Okay, I guess."
"Ma-Master!" Seras raised her hand.
"Hmm?" He raised an eyebrow.
"Please. Stop calling me 'cop' and 'police girl'. My name is Seras Victoria."
"Stop protesting, you little coward." His mouth seemingly didn't even move. "You are 'cop'."
"S-stop it!"
"Inept people like you don't deserve a name." Alucard teased.
"You two won't get to the point." Integra shook her head.
But now, Seras was underground. Thirty meters underground. "Wa... Walter..." Seras spoke to the butler at Integra's mansion. "What's this?"
He spoke back with conviction. "This was Sir Integra's command-- 'How can a vampire not sleep in a coffin?'-- Those were her exact words!"
"But... why... Why'd you have to stick something like this in my room..." She looked dismally at the pine box that had replaced her bed. "Where's my bed?!"
"I've already 'processed' it." He bowed. Walter had burned it.
"NOOOO!" Seras growled. Even you at the asylum had a bed.
"Furthermore... and this is from Alucard... You never drank a drop of blood after you became a vampire." He relayed the message.
"My master said this?"
"If you don't sleep in the coffin, you will only become weaker and weaker. If you don't want to kill, you can always use the medical blood." The butler explained. "Why don't you like blood?"
"I don't know..." Seras sighed. "But I always feel that if I drink blood, I shall lose something-- forever."
"Useless fool." He scoffed as a new presence entered the room.
"If that's the case, why didn't you let me drink your blood to begin with? You could've died as a human." Alucard spoke up.
"Master!" Seras was surprised. She was too tired from seeing you to deal with this.
"Instead, you chose the path of darkness. The night will always invade your soul, and overcome the light you held as a human." His eyes turned to you. "Listen to me, cop. Once you step towards the dusk and leave the sun behind, you may never return." He warned. Seras frowned. She had good reason for trying to toe the line between human and vampire. She still had you to take care of-- a big reason why she couldn't face death just yet either. "Forget it. There's always a vampire like you every now and then. It doesn't bother me too much. Just keep tip-toeing your way along." He sighed.
"Ye... Yes." She admitted. It wasn't as if she had a choice. As long as she could take care of you, she would do whatever needed to be done.
The bulter spoke to Alucard. "Oh yes, I have completed your assigned task."
"Oh really? Let me see." He turned towards him.
"I was going to take this to you..."
"Heh, this is..."
"Our new 13 mm pistol. It weighs 16 kilos, is 39 cm long, and carries six bullets. This weapon cannot be used by humans."
Little sister would like it... She always liked this kind of stuff... Seras thought as she watched the master vampire play with his new toy. I hope she's behaving.
Chapter 4: Get On Well
Chapter Text
"He doesn't even try to dodge bullets half of the times. He's absolutely immortal." Seras was doing your hair in a new style; she had wanted to put multiple bows in it, but you compromised with just one bow. She always had participated in the game of dressing you as a doll. "Or perhaps not... immortal. But close enough. Anyway, he did the Invocation of Cromwell up to level three."
"What's that?!" You turned your head to look at her.
"Turn back 'round!" She scolded you. You gnashed your teeth at her and she knocked your head forward. Pouting, you turned your head back around. "It's a true vampire skill." She explained as she fixed your hair. "It's very frightening and powerful from what I gather. Makes him even more invincible."
"Invincible sounds like my type of man..." You smiled a twisted smile and asked with a moan.
"You know, if he wasn't my master, a vampire, a little bit insufferable, a lot of bit cruel and an existential loner... I'd think you two would get on well. The invincible part being quite crucial..." She sighed.
"You know, my husband couldn't really relate to anything you just said!" You cheered in a chipper manner.
"Right, we know you didn't like him." Seras shook her head. "I like this dress. You haven't worn it in a while."
"Too many bows." You scowled. "Anyway."
"Anyway, Sir Integra's mansion was being attacked by these two super vampire/human things and Master Alucard took one out so easily. He blasted his legs off and mocked him for not being able to regenerate them and keep fighting. For not picking up his gun and retaliating. He called them useless, pitiful creatures."
"Men are." You shrugged. "You know that, don't you, Sera-ra? Men are nothing but blood-bags who waste space and oxygen."
"Dog food." She finished your hair and came to sit next to you. "He called them dog food. Nothing less than human excrement and fit to become the shit of his hell-hound."
"Suitable." You nodded. "How is my hair?"
"Better. Why don't you let the orderlies do it?"
"Sick, sick men. As if men can do hair like my own darling Sera-ra could."
"But you don't know when I'm coming. You'd rather your hair get disgusting than let one of them brush it out?" She inquired.
"They blast me with cold water." You scowled. "They call it therapy, but it's just a bath. Awful bath. Cold. Hurts."
"Sorry, love. But that's what they do here." She looked away from you. You had to be here; so there was no use in coddling you.
"What were you doing that whole time?" You inquired.
"Tearing ghouls apart, with my hands and feet." She gave you a crooked smile. "Big sister isn't so innocent."
You howled with laughter. "Except the whole virgin part!" You laughed harder as Seras turned red.
A nurse came into the room at the raucous noise. "Everything alright?" She inquired.
"Yes, yes. I'm just leaving. Sorry for riling her up... I know she'll calm down for you." Seras gave you a look. But you just kept laughing. And laughing. And laughing.
Chapter 5: The Wild Geese
Chapter Text
Integra, Walter, Seras and Alucard were visiting a special group of people after the attack on the mansion. The Wild Geese. And as usual, Integra had to make an entrance. And Alucard couldn't help but upstage that entrance. "Hey, Bernadotte, what's this gonna be like again?" Seras heard one of the men asked the leader.
The response was an elegant "Huh?"
"Are we gonna raid a police station again?"
"Or is it just some rich fuck who wants the satisfaction of havin' his own army?" someone added on.
"Nah, don't be surprised when I tell you this:" Pip Bernadotte, the leader, spoke. "This time, our job is... Killin' monsters!"
Seras cringed a bit. She was definitely not human, but to be called a monster... Was that exactly what she was by default? I mean... my sister is more of a monster than I am sometimes... The asylum just rung me before we left to let me know she had barricaded herself in her room for God knows what reason... Seras thought to herself.
"Haha, quit shittin' us." Another lackey laughed.
"It's true." Integra's voice rang out. "Your enemies are to be ghouls and vampires which neither die nor age. Holy water is splashed on the demon; a crucifix is stabbed through its heart; its head is sliced off. The impure soul shall turn to ashes around the figure of the cross... this is what we do. For more information, refer to vampire literature."
"ARE YOU KIDDING US??" Came a resounding cry. "There's no such thing as vampires..."
That was to be expected. Vampires weren't exactly common knowledge.
"To be more accurate, you don't know the truth... We have never let anyone know the truth." Integra explained. "The Hellsing Organization was established a century ago. If we were to have never been created, they should surely have realized their goal... of subverting mankind into a race of demonic vermin. You fellows probably didn't understand a word I just said."
She turned to snap and point at Seras behind her. "See for yourselves: this is our enemy, the vampire."
"Wh... what?" Pip Bernadotte was confused as he walked up to the ex-policewoman. "Are you... A vampire?"
"Uh... I guess so..." She admitted sheepishly.
Then, everyone burst into laughter. "See?" Seras blushed. "I told you they'd make fun of me..."
"I suppose you were right." Integra sighed.
"Wouldn't it have been easier if we just called my master?" Seras asked, drowned out by the raucous noise around her.
"No, he'll probably kill all of them. I needed a vampire with a little more... human experience. And I know you have that sister of yours." Integra stood her ground. "Alright, show them what you've got, officer! Give them a little wake-up call."
"Got... Got it!" Seras also stood her ground.
"Hey, hey! If that girl's a vampire, then I'm Frankenstein!" Pip Bernadotte howled and walked up to Seras. Only to be knocked down with a single flick of a finger.
"Down already, Cap'n? I just lifted a finger." Seras stated with a monotone voice. "How 'bout this?" She flicked more and more as they cried out for their "Cap'n"
"She's a freak... I can't... I can't see! And she just flicked her finger and pushed me down!" Pip Bernadotte cried out.
"I said it already... I'm a vampire!" She gave the mercenary a look.
"You're a real vampire?"
"Got that right." Another voice responded.
Chapter 6: Barricades; Real & Imagined
Chapter Text
"It was that deathless man, wasn't it, oh I hope it was!" You bounced in your bed, as you sat on your knees, restrained by the jacket. "I get so fuckin' hot when he's in your stories!"
"It was my master." Seras smiled. She liked to see you happy. Especially after seeing the state you were in when she had arrived. That barricaded door had remained for four days until Seras had time to escape her work to come sort out her little sister.
"Sister! You come unblock this door at once!" She scolded you.
"No! I'd rather chew my Goddamn arm off than let any of these fuckers come back in my shitty space!" You screeched. "You don't know what they try to do to me! YOU DON'T!"
"Yeah, I'm not going to deal with this. I only have a few hours." She pushed the door open with her vampire strength.
You were curled up on the bed, dirty and disheveled. "GET OUT!" You screeched.
"You are so disgusting sometimes. Who lets you get like this?" She shook her head.
But now, you were all clean with a pink and white frilly dress, a new petticoat and white stockings. Your hair was cleaned and done up with a new bow. And you had a terrible look of excitement on your face.
"Of course he insulted me when he came in. 'Though she's the lowest of the vampires, she's still the read deal.' he said." She repeated with a low voice.
"God, I wish he degraded me like that! What a man!" You moaned.
"Stop being gross." You shook your head at your sister. "And then he called all the men a bunch of pitiful, useless cowards." She shrugged at this.
"Great. Men are." Enthusiastically nodding your head, you had a knowing face on.
"He's a man, you know. Maybe you'd like Sir Integra better. She's actually his master." Seras explained.
You giggled maniacally. "Sera-ra, as tempting as this woman sounds, I'm only intrigued by his immortality! I mean unless she can't be fuckin' killed, I don't give a fuck!"
"Yeah, she's really strong, but definitely mortal. I think." Seras scratched her head. "Anyway, she got a letter from Division XIII, the Iscariot Organization. Enrico Maxwell. That's where we're headed next. In fact, I'm leaving straight from here to accompany her and the rest of the group. We're going to an art museum."
"I should like to come." A pout appeared on your face "Take me, Sera-ra."
"I wondered what we were going to do with the Wild Geese though; the mercenary group we met with." Seras ignored your statement; a tactic that often worked.
It didn't work today. "Take. Me. Sister." A growl was leveled at her.
She flicked your forward, sending your head reeling backwards. "Why can't you ever have any manners? How did you ever even get a husband in the first place?" She shook her head in disapproval.
"Mother and Father put us together, I didn't choose that weak specimen of masculinity." Huffing, you laid your head on your shoulder. "I hate it here, Seras Victoria. Even with you coming to see me."
She looked at you, surprised a bit but the sudden use of her full name. "You made the choice to be here." She sighed. "By order of the Queen's written law, I really cannot remove you..."
"You're a weak woman..." You turned your head away. "Even as a vampire..."
Chapter 7: Rules Laid Down
Chapter Text
"State your business!" Integra shouted. "Self-introductions are unnecessary."
"Haha! Please don't be angry. I'm not here today to start a conflict." Enrico Maxwell held up his hand defensively with a chuckle.
"How am I to believe that!" Integra reacted loudly. "Iscariot violated countless treaties when it dispatched Father Anderson to Northern Ireland in an attempt to destroy Alucard. You have not only attacked my organization two of my soldiers. I was almost killed, too! Don't tell me that you weren't aware!"
Meanwhile, Alucard was next to Seras. "You smell different." He noted.
"It happens..." Seras looked away, reflecting on the conversation that she had had in private with Sir Integra before she had left to see you this morning.
"You're going to see that sister of yours, yes?" Integra asked as Seras pulled her coat on.
"I have to. She's having a fit and I don't want her to be thrown out. If I stopped showing up, I'm sure they would find some way to... rid themselves of her. She's an absolute handful." Seras shook her head. "Hearing stories of Master Alucard and I calms her down for some period of time... gives her something to dwell on..."
"Don't let him near her, Police Girl." Integra spoke as she took a drag on her thin cigar. "In fact, I would keep her a secret as long as you can. Keep him as a story."
"Why? That's my little sister. I would think he would keep her safe." Seras Victoria gave the stern woman a confused look. "If he met her, it would probably keep her occupied. I could get a break."
"Safe from ghouls, sure. Entertained, maybe. But just from the glance I caught of her, that's just his type. Innocent, fresh and let me guess; a stubborn attitude just like yours." She remarked and then noticed Seras' confusion over how Integra had seen you. "I just looked at the picture in her file when you came to us."
"Hey!" She protested. "And she's... not that innocent... Obviously she's no match for him, but perhaps she wouldn't be his type."
"Don't let him near her." Integra insisted. "You'll never get her back."
But really, despite her push back, Seras was going to listen to Integra as the master of her master. "So what?" Enrico Maxwell's voice drifted through the walls.
"What do you mean, 'so what?' What makes you think that you can step over our backs and up our stairs whenever tension ease?" Integra asked.
"I don't care if it's two English casualties or two million. We would never deal with your heretical ilk if it were not a direct order from the Vatican" His twisted words sneered out. "So I suggest that you shut up and listen! You ignorant heathen sow!"
Alucard disappeared suddenly, leaving Seras alone to be concerned. "Sow?" He asked the group as the proclaimed King of the Vampires appeared. "As one would expect - the infantile Iscariots. Your whining can be heard from miles away. Oppressors of men, makers of the False Peace, Betrayers of the Law, slaughterers of all whom oppose... it's always the same. Rome has changed little in two millennia."
"The Nosferatu Alucard." The commander noted. "Hellsing's trash disposal! The Ace of Death! This is the first I've seen you in person. Good afternoon, Mr. Alucard"
"Good afternoon to you as well, Maxwell. Requiescat in Pace." But the pleasantries were quickly over as he brandished his gun. "How dare you... call my master a swine! Don't think you'll be leaving England alive. For I shall kill you, bastard!"
"Oh, I'm paralysed in fright. I'm afraid that we can't be talking business anymore. For the last time; if these weren't direly important matters, we wouldn't be here. But, if you wish, we shall say good-bye! At attention!" And with a snap a familiar face appeared.
It was the priest, Anderson.
Chapter 8: The Peculiarities
Chapter Text
After a rather annoying question, answer and threat session, Alucard wanted answers for his original question. He also did not fall for Seras' strategy of ignoring the question, just as you hadn't.
"Who did I smell on my little cop?" Alucard asked Integra as the crowd that Seras had brought disintegrated.
"No one of importance. We've got to get back to where we're staying. I will have to do another meeting with that creep." She sighed.
Alucard's eyes narrowed behind his glasses. But for now, he let it be. It didn't last long however, and he sought out Walter back at Hellsing HQ. "You're up late, Walter." Alucard's deep voice called out from the shadows of the study.
"Hehe... Because it's like that outside." Walter noted the sinister feeling.
"Is Integra sleeping?"
"She retired some time ago."
Alucard moved onto the topic he truly wanted to discuss. Or at least, one of them. "Did you hear?" He inquired.
"Yeah, I did." Walter confirmed. "I never thought it would be the Nazis... To think the names of people dead so many years ago would come up..."
"Heh, really. I've had a feeling about it for a while. That feeling... that gloom... is something I have felt before."
"Oh? How?" Walter asked.
"How? You ask me how? 'Shinigami'? There are only three reasons the 'undead' would be used in combat. One is you guys, one is them and one is me. And the experimental undead unit they used 50 years ago was completely destroyed. You and I killed them all." Alucard explained.
"...You're right, you're right, I remember now. Alucard." He shook his head.
"It's a terrible thing to be 'aging'."
"Hn... us English can enjoy 'aging'." Walter snapped back. "Alucard, we're going to be sending you to South America as soon as possible. It's not that we completely trust the 13th chapter of the Vaticans, but we don't have enough information and we're running out of choices."
"The reason the English are on the decline is because they are like that."
"We would reject being prosperous but without pride." Walter stated. "There are two essential personnel, you and Seras. I suppose the rest will be the newcomers who are practicing outside."
"Just taking them will be bothersome. I'll just use them as messengers."
"Oh, but I think they're doing quite well. Although I'm a little worried about their instructor."
"Really? I'm worried about the police girl. Haven't you noticed something peculiar about her?" Alucard's lips curled up in a sinister smile.
"Many things. Which are you referring to?" Walter's face stayed stoic. He had an inkling of where this was headed and had already received a briefing from Integra not to reveal anything.
"She provides hefty resistance for long trips. Even short trips, she always returns with a different smell about her just as we are about to leave. As if she has a task she must perform before she leaves. One no one else may join her on... She even tries to venture out in the evening, as if the sun's partial rays might deter me." He chuckled. "Where does she travel to? Do you know?"
"I'm afraid that is Miss Seras' business, and I am not interested in it." Walter stated. "You will have to inquire yourself if it really piques your own interests."
"I think... it might..." He rubbed his chin."I am awfully bored."
"Oh yes, I wanted to ask you something." Walter spoke before Alucard could leave the room.
"What?"
"Why did you turn her into a vampire?" He turned his body to face the master vampire. "It is unlike you to do such a thing."
"Who knows. On a whim?" He thought about it for a minute. "No. She chose to, of her own free will. How did you handle her, anyway?"
"We reported her as missing at the 'Cheddars Village' case." Walter reported.
"Her family didn't protest?" A conniving look flashed over Alucard's face.
"She has no... parents... She's... an orphan." Walter worded carefully.
"Hehe... I thought so. It makes sense. She is much more interesting than she looks." A plotting look now overtook his face. "From the very start, her superiors and colleagues were turned into ghouls one after another in that village of death. A hell not unlike the bottom of a witch's cauldron, in which vampires tried to rape and kill her. And what do you think that woman decided? 'Giving up' kills people. When a person refuses to give up, he earns the right to walk down the road of humanity." His toothy grin flashed over his face. What couldn't she give up? It wasn't her parents. Certainly it wasn't her already dead comrades.... "Heh... So now, if she would only drink blood... right?" Alucard walked towards the window, now speaking to himself. "She'll drink... she will... She will definitely drink." Then, he turned sideways to the butler. "By the way, how do you plan to get her to South America? She looks like she won't be able to cross the ocean." He inquired. After all, it was said that vampires couldn't cross running rivers and oceans.
"So, she can't after all..." Walter shook his head. "How about in an airplane?"
"No." Alucard chuckled. "It's like she's half-human, half vampire... dust. To dust..."
Meanwhile, Seras was stressed out. Not only by the perverted man who was in charge of the Wild Geese, but of the upcoming trip that would see her abandoning her sister for an extended period of time. At the beginning of yet another perverted song, Seras lost her cool and stormed off to find Walter. "WALTERRRRRRR!" She called out as she burst into the study.
"Oh, you finished practicing?" He inquired.
"S-Sexual harassment! That weird head soldier started singing an obscene incredibly perverted song during the marathon!"
Alucard shook his head as he brainstormed through the argument. "Walter." He spoke up after a minute. "It's classic, but there's a good way to do it. Seras, please come with me to discuss something pertaining to our trip. And if you'd like to escape this... human for a brief moment."
"Anything!!" She yelled. "Anything to get away from him!"
And without another word she stomped after the master vampire. Seras... I hope you are prepared... Walter thought to himself. When Alucard wants something... he gets it.
Chapter 9: The Big Reveal
Chapter Text
"Are you prepared to go to South America?" Alucard asked Seras as they arrived in a private room.
"We have a until tomorrow evening, correct?" She verified. "I should be set by then to go."
"I'm moving it up to the morning." He smiled cruelly.
"I-uh-I will uh... No, I'm not sure I'll be quite ready. What time in the morning?"
"Why?" He inquired again. "Is there something you need to do in the day time that can't be done in the night?"
"Well, you see..." She moved from foot to foot, remembering Integra's warning. "I mean, it can, but it wouldn't be very good, and the little amount of time..."
"Tell me what it is that you need to do and I can accommodate." His words were slimy to Seras as they came out of his mouth. She was officially trapped.
"Integra said--"
"Are you under a direct order not to tell me?" He inquired quickly. He wouldn't force her to disobey his own master.
"Not exactly, per se..."
"Then please, let me in on what pre-trip work is so vital that I cannot move up the schedule? What is so important that the world's safety must wait?" He loomed over her.
"M-My sister." Seras admitted. "I have to visit my sister and let her know where I'm going. I tell her stories of us to entertain her. I have to tell her to behave because I can't come to help her."
"And where is this sister? Why haven't I seen her? Not with your parents, clearly." He fired off questions.
"She's in West Riding Pauper Lunatic Asylum." She looked down. "And I can't just show up at any hour. Visiting begins at eight in the morning. And my sister normally doesn't wake up until noon. She's awful if they get her up earlier."
A twisted grin flashed over Alucard's face. "Let's go." He turned, whipping his long coat into Seras, almost knocking her down.
"Wh-what?!" She looked at him in confusion.
"You've got to learn that being a vampire means you no longer have to follow all of the human world's rules. If you want to go see your sister, then to your sister we shall go! It is hardly even midnight. If she sleeps so late, then perhaps she will still be awake!" He cheered as he exited the door.
Seras scurried out of the door after her master.
"Do you even know where you're going?!" She called out.
"Yes, that beautiful building out west! I knew it was hiding something interesting. And now I can't wait!" He was giddy as can be, having been let in on the secret.
She's going to be so excited... too excited... Seras thought to herself. Well... maybe it'll tide her over for the long period that I'm going to be gone. That's the only consolation I can get from this. Integra is going to be furious. But... She looked at Alucard's smiling face as they zipped off. He looks so pleased with himself.
It wasn't long until their arrival. His eyes were wide and his mouth was slightly opened as he peered into the dark room.
"Is... is that her?" He was paused at the doorway, whispering.
You were passed out against the wall, wrapped up in a straitjacket, hair in two braids with satin pink bows. Your dress matched, satin pink and poofy-- socks pink lace. "Yes. She's normally restrained at night so they don't have to deal with her in the morning..." Seras sighed. At least you looked cleaned. It meant you had been listening to the guards.
"Please... Can you wake her up? If I go in there..." He stopped abruptly and shook his head, finishing the thought in his head. I won't be able to contain myself.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Seras walked in and gently began shaking you awake, standing back a ways. Suddenly you sat bolt upright and lunged at her with your teeth. "It's me, you idiot!" She slapped the back of your head.
"Ow!" You frowned. "How the hell would I know!? Who the fuck comes here at this fucking time of night?!"
"Shh! Alucard wanted to meet you. Could you reign it in a little for him?" Her face dropped in embarrassment.
"Alu...card?... WHERE!?" You sat up on your knees and looked around with an inhuman smile.
"Right here little doll, little princess." He appeared in a flash in front of you, throwing his jacket back dramatically. "The one and only, King of the Vampires."
You bounced and squealed on your bed as Seras tried to calm you down. "Master Alucard, please! Do not excite her too much, it will be ages before she calms down!" Seras scolded him.
"SHUT UP!" You screamed at her.
"Maybe we don't want her to calm down, isn't that right, you precious, precious thing?" He cooed wickedly. "Maybe your big sister the police girl needs to get more excited!"
"Sera-ra get excited! Alucard is here!" You laughed .
I can never get away from him. Seras gave an annoyed face. Why was Alucard so... happy to see you? It was almost uncomfortable. Were you really... just his type?
"Let's get this off of you..." Alucard mumbled sweetly as Seras was deep in thought.
"Get what off of-- NO!" She shouted as she lunged forward. Alucard had removed your straitjacket. But he simply pushed her back with one hand.
"Oh, what a pretty dress you were hiding!" He cooed again. "Now, let me attend to your big sister, I gave her quite a shove by accident."
"No, Alucard, don't turn away from her.." Seras rubbed her head on the floor.
"Why--Oh. Hmm." Alucard turned right back around, showing Seras what was a sharp piece of perhaps a pencil sticking out of the side of his neck. "Naughty little sugar plum. Did you forget big sister's stories? Did you think I could die from that? Why did you want to kill me?" You looked at him with a pout; insulted he hadn't even bled. "And an attitude about it too, hehe!" He giggled.
"She can't help it..." Seras helped herself up. "She has... compulsions. And one of them is to stab."
Chapter 10: Travel Arrangements
Chapter Text
"He's impossible." Integra complained. "I warned that silly woman against this very situation. And now we have a toy we have to drag along. Apparently a very... stabby... toy. Regardless, how did you decide to transport the dreaded police woman?"
"About that..." Walter began as he opened the door. "We finally decided to transport her in a coffin."
Alucard sat a top the wooden box, leaning back and allowing you to slide a knife in and out of his abdomen with intense pleasure and intrigue. "Noooo, let me out!!!" Seras yelled.
"Shut up, Sera-ra." You giggled.
"This'll never get through customs." Integra's face fell. "And Alucard, stop letting her stab you, it's disturbing."
"There is no customs." Walter assured her.
"Is that an order?" Alucard smirked and spoke at the same time.
"Why no customs?" Integra sighed and gave up on the twisted vampire. She had to speak up as your sister's cries got louder.
"It's a smuggling ship." Walter stated.
A grimace grew on her face."...I wonder if it'll work out."
"It turns out we had to send the weapons as well... and my coffin. Or should I say, ours." Alucard spoke but at the last sentence, turned and pulled your chin up with a single finger. "Wouldn't want this little heathen running around the ship, depleting the army."
You swooned and set your knife down, allowing Alucard to stand up. "It's a smuggling ship we always use. As long as they're paid, they're very trustworthy." Bernadotte assured Integra.
"Get away from my sister!!!" Seras screamed.
"Quiet." Alucard demanded, finally quieting the woman down a touch.
"You're dressed differently." Integra noticed. "I thought sunlight was a vampire's worst enemy?"
"I can't board a plane looking like I usually do. And I'll be walking around in public with my princess." He stroked your hair and pulled you close. "Besides, for me, sunlight is not fatal. I simply hate it."
The sides of your mouth curled up. This attention was suiting you just fine. "There is only one order. 'Search and destroy'. Over." Integra smiled.
"Understood, my master." Alucard bent over in a bow. "Now, excuse me, as I play with my new little toy."
She rolled her eyes and left with Walter and the other soldiers to continue loading the weapons and wrap up other loose ends. "Stop harassing my sister!" Seras complained.
"I'm doing nothing of the sort." Alucard complained right back. "It's a very consensual game we're playing, isn't that right, you darling girl?"
"Yes, vampire king!" You cheered.
He knocked on the wooden coffin. "And Seras..."
"Yes?" She answered weakly.
"Enjoy the thought of all the dirty things that might go on between me and your baby sister in my coffin!" He laughed as you absolutely howled.
"Nooooo!"
"Or on the plane..."
"Ughhhh!"
"Or perhaps I'll do something right on top of your coffin before you leave!"
"EEEEEEEEEE!" She screamed and hammered on the lid.
You were losing your shit in the meanwhile, laughing so hard you snorted, cried and hunched over. Alucard smiled at your delight and Seras' despair. But he was actually busy, so he simply lifted you up and tossed you over his shoulder. "Silly girl." He spoke quietly to you. "It's much too easy to please you."
Chapter 11: Arriving in Brazil to War
Chapter Text
"Princess, come along, don't get distracted." Alucard scolded you gently as you walked away from him in the lobby.
"Shut the fuck up." You waved a hand at him.
"Darling, I insist." He stopped walking.
You didn't even respond as you picked up a pen that was on a table.
"Come here now. Without the stabbing utensil. Or you shall see what real pain feels like." His eyes turned towards you and a shiver went up your spine. "I am in a rush and I don't have time for you to play."
"Fuck you." You mumbled as you put the pen down and sulked over to the tall, dark vampire.
"Perhaps you'll get to, if you're a good girl." He patted your head. "Now, keep your mouth shut."
You both approached the hotel's manager and with a grumpy look, you did follow directions.
"I'm the one who reserved the suite." Alucard smiled.
"Yes. You have the suite on the top floor, Mr. J.H. Blenner."
You laughed, but felt a cold hand on your shoulder, squeezing it very tightly.
Behind you, Bernadotte was guiding his men in with a coffin. Alucard's coffin.
"It's the suite on the top floor." Alucard turned around.
"Roger!!" Bernadotte gave him a thumbs-up. "Hey, over here, he says it's on the top floor!"
"S-Sir... for luggage that large... this hotel..." The manager stumbled.
"There's no problem." Another shiver came up your spine as Alucard's voice gave that same commanding presence.
"No, I can't agree with that. For a huge piece of luggage like that, it's a bit..."
Instantly, Alucard turned around and leaned over the counter, pushing down the manager's glasses. "There is no problem." His dark eyes burned into the human's.
"There... is... no... problem..." The manager repeated.
"There is no problem." He smiled.
"There is no problem."
"Let's go, Bernadotte, hurry up and bring it in." Alucard turned back and put his sunglasses on.
"Whaaa?" The leader of the Wild Geese questioned him. "What the hell did you do? Magic?"
"I didn't do anything. Is there some problem with transporting it?"
"More like it's going too well."
".......Really, heh."
"What is it?"
"There's no problem. Looks like it'll be a fun vacation, yes, my princess?" He pushed your back and started a quick pace up to his private room.
As you both arrived up there, it was quiet. However, Bernadotte had followed you up and quickly disrupted the silence. "This isn't fair!! I have to stay in some cheap hotel in the city! Oh, how unfair! Stupid Englishman! Stupid Englishwoman!" He cursed you both.
"Sometimes, it's better to be in a cheap hotel." Alucard quipped as he drew you in closely. "Less people to hear you, my darling."
"Is. That. So." Bernadotte scowled.
"It's quiet. That's not like her." You spoke up, looking towards the coffin. You worried about your big sister.
"Yeah, she was a real pain in the ass on the way here, guess she wore herself out or gave up, so now she's sleeping." Bernadotte shrugged.
"Go open your big sister's coffin. I'm sure your 'Sera-ra' would prefer it." He cooed to you as he whipped off the cover to his own sleeping arrangement.
"So that's your coffin..." Bernadotte spoke.
"This is my last domain. Born and died here..."
"And that's a suite all right, so you don't have anything either?... Anyway we start the investigation tomorrow. I'll come pick you up sometime in the evening. Night is better, right? For you vampires." Bernadotte sighed.
"You should look forward to it more." He bent down and helped you, the person struggling to open the coffin, as he spoke.
"Looks like it'll be fun here."
But it was hardly a few minutes before things most certainly became what most considered "un" fun.
"Wake up." Alucard's presence was felt by everyone in the room as he loomed over Seras' coffin.
Suddenly, her eyes popped open and you squealed in delight. Guns had just begun popping off in the background. Things were getting exciting. "G-Good... Good morning..."
"Wake up. It's interesting, so get up." Alucard demanded as he stood up and pulled you close, lifting you into the air.
"Twirl me, sick bastard!" You demanded. "Can't you hear it, Sera-ra! The fucking cacophony?!"
You screamed with feeling as he twirled you to your demands, while you mussed up his long hair. "Wha--what's all this..." A helicopter roared in close. "Wha-wha-what just what... what is this!?"
"Now it's time for war!" Alucard held you close as you wrapped your legs around his waist, dragging his nose against your face affectionately. "Now, if you would, take my darling child-like woman here, my princess, my doll, into the closet with you. And stay there until I call."
"You know she is my sister, right?... I'm going to take care of her regardless..." Seras complained as she walked past Alucard and grabbed you by the dress, yanking you off of him with her own vampiric strength.
You let out a wail. "Be good, little girl." Alucard looked down at you. "If you make a peep, they might just slaughter you. And I'd hate to lose a toy before I get to play with it."
A shiver ran up your spine. A good kind of shiver. "Gag. Don't talk like that in front of me." Seras complained as she dragged you into a closet and shut the door behind her. "Hush. OW!"
"HUSH!" Alucard demanded.
"She stabbed me!" Seras complained as she pulled a piece of broken wood out of her side. "You awful baby sister..."
You laughed and rocked back and forth. "Shut up and let me redo your hair... At least Alucard will appreciate it. Unlike you..." She pulled you close to her, used to dealing with her ridiculous sister.
She pulled out the silver bows and began redoing your hair as best as she could. You squirmed, but tried your best to stay quiet. And keep the biting to a minimum, lest you suffer from whiplash of getting the back of your head swatted. "Get away from my coffin." You heard Alucard's deep voice after a few minutes, cuasing you to perk up.
"Shoot...." A strange voice muttered. "FREEZE!"
"Don't. Touch. My. Coffin."
Bullets rained down on the master vampire and Seras turned you around to shield you. The sound of bullets ripping through flesh however didn't make you squirm with discomfort. Instead, however, you were squirming with desire. "Stop, you freak." Seras whispered.
"I told him to freeze, weird bastard." A voice spoke. "I know they said we could but isn't this overkill?"
"Who cares? They said kill 'em with feeling." Another spoke. "But what's with this guy, he stupid or something?"
"He must think he's special or something. Anyway our work's half done."
"There should be one more; a girl."
Seras gripped you harder. She knew she was a strong vampire, and she knew that Alucard wouldn't be put down easily but it was still hard to hear. "Okay!! Find her!! When you do, take care of her like this guy!"
"You 'dogs'. I see you've got plenty of power. But a dog cannot kill me." You couldn't see him, but Alucard stood up and regenerated. "The ones who kill monsters are always humans." You felt your body becoming aroused as the sounds of tearing flesh and blood splattering filled the room. As you twisted and writhed in your sister's arms, she held you tightly. Of course she was upset. A normal person would have been upset. You were never one for normal. You ached to watch your beloved vampire tear these dogs limb from limb.
As the noise died down to simple footsteps, you listened carefully for your signal to come out. Instead, there was a clicking noise. And then, words. "It won't open." Alucard stated as he dropped a bleeding body onto the floor.
"M-M-Monster!" An unknown voice yelled out.
My monster! You shook with anger. Seras stroked your hair, mistaking your rage for fear.
"I get that a lot. So what do you believe you are confronting then? Human or dog or monster?"
Suddenly, a gunshot. Suicide. Has to be. Seras thought to herself. Master Alucard would never use firearms.
"It's okay now. Come out. Get ready, we're leaving."
You zoomed out of the closet, traipsing over the dead bodies and jumping onto the back of the master vampire. He swiftly tossed you around to his side and leaned his head against you. "You are more comforting than you may believe, my doll. What pretty hair. Let us be on our way so you do not soil your beautiful clothes." He murmured to you as you rubbed your lips against his cold skin.
"These are..." Seras looked down and muttered.
"What is it?" Alucard snapped, impaitent. "Hurry up. I have things and people to attend to."
"M-Master... um... the-they're humans..."
"So, what..."
"Humans!!"
"So, what?!" He turned around and with his one available arm lifted her by the shirt collar. "So, what, Draculina?! Are ones that shoot guns and start wars humans or outcasts? They came killing, shooting to fulfill their duty!! Everyone was to kill! To shoot down! War is a gamble and they bet everything they had on their weak cards!! That's all!! I had to kill them! I protected you and your sister! That cannot be changed. Nobody can change it. Not God or the devil or me or you."
"B-but.." Tears welled in her eyes.
"Stop, stupid." You whispered to him.
"No, that's it. That's all it is." He let Seras go. "Let's go Seras. The best darkness is strange and surprising. That is exactly why I enjoy your sister's company so much. She will stab you without a second thought but to see tears well in your eyes from a scolding and she would protect you from one of the world's strongest monsters."
"She doesn't recognize you as a monster." Seras brushed herself off and wiped her face. "Her sense of danger is rather distorted."
"Still here, bitch." You mumbled.
"You're just messed up." Seras laughed and looked at you. "At least everyone around you won't die from your proclivity now."
"On the contrary, it amuses me." Alucard wiped his forehead, pulling his hair back. "And that is the highest honour."
Chapter 12: Asking For It
Chapter Text
"Who is it?" Integra asked with what sounded like grit in her mouth. "Friend or foe?"
"It is your servant, Integra. An order... Give me an order, my master." Alucard purred as he stroked your cheek and stood by the busted up window.
"Alucard, describe your situation"
"We were ambushed right after we arrived at the hotel. It looks like they are better than I thought, they knew about us beforehand." He grit his own teeth as your nails dragged against his forearm.
"And... what happened?"
"Killed them." You giggled at this and Alucard put a finger against your lips. "I annihilated them without except-- Ah! -ion." You bit the skin off the offending finger "Now give me an order."
He swooped you up and set you on a bullet-ridden desk. He was pleased that Seras was preoccupied with moving the coffins. As his nose ran up your warm neck, he would have been lying if he said he felt nothing. It drove him wild.
"The elite police force is probably being controlled by them. But they attacked, followed orders... the ones that I killed and will kill from now on are just normal humans. I can kill them without even a moment's hesitation without a moment's regret I can massacre them because I am a monster." He breathed heavily on your body and you felt a warm pool settle in your belly.
"No... I'm the monster." You whispered in his ear.
"Yes... My beautiful little monster." His tongue slid up the side of your neck. "What about you, Integra? I'll be the one to hold the gun. I'll be the one to take aim. I'll load the ammo and the magazine. I'll pull the slide. I'll release the safety. But your intent to kill will be what kills them. So! What will you do? Order me! Hellsing's chief, Integra Falbuke Wingates Hellsing!" The look in his eyes caused your eyes to flash with excitement. Immediately, your own teeth lunged towards his neck, but instead of reaching your goal, you found yourself pushed flat against the desk so hard that the legs broke. "Careful, princess." Alucard whispered, "It's hard to stop me once you get me started."
"Stop fooling around and underestimating me, Servant! I already gave my order, nothing has changed!! Search and destroy, search and destroy! Crush anything and everything that gets in our way!! Don't run or hide or waste time on your little toy! Leave from the front door and destroy all obstacles, going straight through!!"
As suddenly as Integra finished talking, Alucard found a sharp chunk of wood sticking out from his lower stomach. He began to laugh wildly as he stroked your twisted face. "Roger. Very good, that's the last cover. Magnificent! The one who is hit will stand up straighter! Integra, I will leave now. Watch me." And with that, he hung up the phone and took out the piece of wood.
"If you weren't asking for it before, little doll, you certainly are now." He growled and began unbuttoning your dress carefully. Never would he destroy such a beautiful garment.
"Well damn it all to hell! If you weren't fucking getting it, fucking say something! I am always fucking asking for it!" You snickered.
Chapter 13: A Lot of Sudden Events
Chapter Text
"Alucard!? Where are you?!" Integra demanded to know.
"Outside Rio. A remote city called St. Rose. The mission was accomplished, my master. I've carved what they are thinking into my brain." Alucard delivered his prose of a response.
"Fucking stupid sounding." You chuckled while sitting on the master vampire's lap.
He smacked your head forward. "You're not my fucking sister." You hissed as you moved to get up.
"Good work," Integra continued, "Return immediately. Formalize your report."
Alucard gripped tightly enough to your chest to force you to cough out your last breath. "I see the round table is pressuring you." He took no notice of the woman turning blue in his lap.
"I wish. It's a personal order from above that."
"Above that? So?"
"From Her Majesty herself. The round table is being called together."
Chuckling to himself he replied,"Really!? The Queen!"
"You think that's funny? It's not. Get out of there and come back! Don't make her wait. The 13th chapter has started moving and I don't want them to get ahead!"
"By the way, Integra, did you enjoy the battle? Did it excite you like it did me? Did you get to see the flames, burning black and red?"
"SHUT UP! IDIOT! None of your business! Just hurry and come back!" With that, Integra slammed down the phone.
"Oh, darling, aren't humans complicated?" Alucard laughed to you. But there was no response. "Darling?"
"Hi, we're-- What happened to my sister?!" Seras was frozen.
Alucard looked from your body, to Seras and back again. "She, uh..."
Then, everyone froze as footsteps approached the door. Within seconds, it was smashed open to reveal the priest: Anderson. Less than a second later, a fist flew toward his face. Stunned by the apparent death of his doll, he reeled backwards at the force, dropping your corpse on the floor.
"Bwahahaha! Alucard Monster!" Anderson laughed. But Alucard had a swift and painful response.
"So you couldn't wait any longer! Anderson Human!"
Imperceptible to the human eye, they continued to exchange blows, while Seras and Bernadotte took out their weapons and took aim. But Anderson wasn't there to kill just yet. He knifed a paper to the wall and began to speak.
"About three kilometers north is a Vatican airport disguised as a country airport. There's a small jet warming up its engine there. Go. Hurry and go. Those are its papers. Take them and get out while I can control my desire to kill you all."
And before any response could be given, he disappeared leaving everyone on edge.
"My... my sister..." Seras breathed out, trying to refocus on the trauma. But Alucard had already swept her into his arms and he was sniffling your neck.
"Oh, how I adore the Victoria sisters... I don't think I can resist giving you the same treatment I gave your sister."
"Wait, no, Alucard! She's not a--" Alucard's teeth however, were deep in your bluish body. "...virgin."
Chapter 14: Dream
Chapter Text
There wasn't time to mourn. The group had to move, with or without your lifeless body. But Alucard could not bring himself to toss away his broken toy. The guilt he felt was unusual- taking a life was nothing new or extraordinary. But this had been a mere accident. A simple mishap and misjudgement of his own strength. Or, perhaps, he knew his strength but lacked the skill of multitasking. Either way, he lay sleeping in his coffin.
A crushing pain stabbed through his chest. As he glanced down, Alucard noticed a considerably large stake, directly through the heart.
"So it's my loss..." He mumbled to himself through his long dark hair.
"That's right. It's your loss. This isn't some bad dream from which you won't awaken." A mysterious, manly shadow grabbed him by the collar. "Your castle and territory are gone. The servants of your followers are dead. Her spirit is also gone. She will not become yours again. You have nothing left, count. You poor 'no life king'! You have nothing left!"
Alucard burst forward, knocking the cover off his coffin and touching his face. Blood ran down it. Tears of blood.
"A dream?... I?! Dream!? I have never. Ridiculous." He was, however, still hyperventilating as he wiped his face off.
"I-It better have been of me..." Your small voice hardly reached his ears.
"What?! No! Impossible!" Alucard quickly turned to see your face. Although your eyes were still closed, your mouth did indeed move.
"Sirrrr, we're almost at England, please be quiet and prepare for landing in ten minutes." Seras requested.
"She's alive Seras." Alucard smile a massive smile. "It seems she was more pure than you could have imagined."
"WHAT!?" Seras' coffin burst open and she leaped out to see her dearest sister. "But, but! You were married! How are you a virgin?!"
"F-f-fuck you, Sera-ra..." You spoke weakly as she hugged you. "Y-you thought I'd fuck th-that waste of a man?..."
"Ah, and the bite is as fierce as ever." Alucard purred and reached for you, but was swatted away by your sister.
"I'm sorry that I didn't protect you." She whispered to you. "Now you're a monster."
You looked up at her and smiled. "I was always a fuckin' monster, Sera-ra. At least now it's clearly represented."
"So tell me," Alucard stood up and swiped you from Seras' arms, having decided he waited long enough. "Are you hungry, little doll? Or will you refuse the blood as your sister did and does?"
"I'd love some." You swiftly sunk your teeth into Alucard's upper neck and then licked up his bloody tears. "Yuck."
He laughed a booming laugh. With a tear wiped from his eyes, he spoke, "I don't believe I've ever seen a vampire try to bite another vampire! Of course it's unsavory. It's third-hand blood."
"The biting was extremely satisfying. the licking... not so." You shrugged as you chomped into his shoulder.
"From stabbing to fanging... what a sister I have, indeed." Seras looked down and put her hands over her face. "It's better than a dead one, I will agree to that."
Chapter 15: Meet The Major
Chapter Text
"I have returned, my master." Alucard, Seras, Bernadotte and you all burst into the room. "To have all of you gathered here is simply wonderful."
"Good work, my servant. You are in the presence of the queen. Remove your sunglasses." Alucard walzed up to the queen herself while she spoke, as if familiar.
"H-Hey! Stay back!" The guards were on high alert. But not the queen.
"...It's been a long time, vampire." She spoke regally. "Let me see your face."
"About fifty years, yes." Alucard leaned down to let her stroke his face. "So, you've already become queen..."
"You never do change, do you Alucard? I've becomes so old. I'm just a wrinkly old lady now. I've been replaced by those darlings there, haven't I?"
"You're as much as a tomboy as you were back then, young lady." She was truly still young to him, "No. You are now truly beautiful, Queen."
"Make your report, vampire." She laughed. "Enough flattery."
"Let me begin." Alucard's voice rang out. "Once upon a time, there was an insane SS major. 'Let's make an army of immortals, let's make troops of immortals'-- that reckless thought became reality, thanks to much blood and insanity."
"Right, but fifty-five years ago, that project was ruined by Walter." Integra interrupted.
"However, they never really gave up. Everyone forgot them, and rightfully wanted to forget them. But they continued to live on tenaciously in the depths of darkness. While they slowly, slowly, grew. Now, they are frighteningly close to perfecting the vampire; A Kampf Gruppe of vampires. And army of immortal ones-- not human. This was the return of the mythical army of Siegfried. In other words, the remains of the Third Reich." Papers were shuffled and people looked worried. You, on the other hand were deathly bored and scuffing your shoe on the floor around you, earning glares from Seras. But then, a small boy, peculiar looking with an old SS uniform on was suddenly in the room.
Bernadotte and others quickly drew their guns. "Wait!" The boy held his arms up. "I'm a special envoy. I have no intention of fighting."
"Special envoy!? When did you get it?! From where!?! Walter!!!" Integra commanded. Walter spoke immediately
"Our defense is perfect. And there are no signs of it having been breached."
"Don't bother!" The boy marched forward. "I am everywhere and nowhere." He slammed an electronic device on the table before all the great people. "Today, for the Vaticans we have gathered here, we have an important message from our commander. So please, listen carefully."
The picture on the screen was screaming and bloody bodies. Then, it turned to the major in question. "Hey there, Major." Alucard grinned.
"Es ist langer her, Alucard." The major smiled. "Oh, gibt es dort Engländer? Es tut mir Leid. Auf Englisch." His voice went to English with a heavy accent. "It's been a long time, Alucard. I'm delighted to see you again." It was a two way video communication "So you're the leader of the enemy, Sir Integra of Hellsing, yes? This is my first time seeing you."
"What is your purpose?" Integra's face was hot with anger. "For what purpose are you doing such foolish thing!? Answer me!!"
"Purpose? Oh, Fräulein, schönes Fräulein, that is what is known as a foolish question." He laughed as symbols of hate waved in the air around him. "To put it simply Fräulein, we have no purpose."
Chapter 16: Things Heat Up
Chapter Text
"You know, my little doll, my darling, nothing is keeping me from having you now." Alucard slunk up to you in his private chambers. "Here we have all the blood you could ever want to drink... and someone who can help put your... extra energy... to use."
You were already gulping down the blood in front of you. Unlike your sister, you had no qualms about it-- how could you? But you did feel the need to sink your fangs into something a little more... flesh-like. "If you're asking for a fuck, I'm more than happy to oblige. Seems I've got plenty of time on my hands now!" You laughed wildly. cYou dropped to your knees, grabbed onto the front of his trousers, and crooked your fingers. The fabric stretched, then tore with a delicious ripping sound, and you leaned in close, pressing your nose up against the side of his long, cool, pale white dick. Your nose flared as you breathed in his scent, whispering softly. "Don't say anything, vampire king, just let me suck your cock..." You mumbled, nuzzling against him, licking him with soft, darting, eager little licks. Your head swam. Even when you had been married, you hadn't felt this kind of raw, heady eagerness for cock—hence why you had remained a virgin. But now, your mouth was watering. The compulsion to bite it off overcame you, but you didn't fucking care. It would just grow back anyway. Your mouth opened wider and you slid your tongue out, caressing along of his thick glans, tasting the cool salt of his body as you looked up into his eyes. Your mouth closed and you slid your lips against his foreskin. The taste of him was thick in your mouth and the twisted expression of repressed pleasure on his face was...divine.
"If you bite me, little demoness, you'll have to wait for it to grow back," He warned you, derailing your plans.
Your hand closed around the base of his cock as you started to slide your mouth back, breathing warm, moist, nonliving breath against his undead cock, your eyes growing lidded as you murmured. "I... didn't think I would like sucking cock this much..." You murmured, flicking your tongue out, teasing along the very tip of his cock. "But I kind of like liking sucking cock this much..." You grinned, your eyes meeting his. "Alu...do you want me to suck this cock?"
"Young lady..." He whispered. "I want to do so much to my princess, my darling, my sweet little toy."
"Mmm, that's not a yes..." You crooned, leaning slowly down. You kissed his balls, nuzzling against them between his thighs, which tightened around your head, his knees almost bumping against your temples as he reflexively clenched them, your tongue lapping along the hanging things, slowly. Your eyes closed tight in this close, dark, cramped place. With the quiet coolness of his body, there was only the heat of your own breath, reflecting back against you. You licked at his hard cock again, then nuzzled against his balls.
"Miss..." Alucard's voice sounded almost pained. "As much as I enjoy being your experimentation... I'm growing impatient."
"Do I look like I care?" You looked up, your eyes meeting his. Your fingernails had already torn the skin at his thighs. His tongue darted along his lips and his fangs, glittering and hard and as eager as his member, glinted against his lower lip. As you admired his large fangs, your mouth closed around the head of his cock again, warming him with your mouth, your tongues swirling around and around his shaft as you stroked him slowly, gently. Then harder. Then faster. Your hand moved and blurred along his cock as his fingernails dug into the shoulders of your dress, his whole, stork-like body tightening as he drew a sharp breath.
You wrung the words out of him, with your mouth and your heat and your hand. "I want you!" Alucard hissed through his teeth, past those needy fangs. "NOW!"
"Do you now?" You murmured. "Does the vampire king want to sink his dick into my eager little special spot?"
"Yes..." Alucard growled.
You grinned. "Well, are you going to—" You had, thus far, seen Alucard use his celerity - his incredible vampire speed - to attack, to evade bullets. But this was the first time where you had been at the focus of it - and you suppressed your fight or flight response. This time, you certainly wanted to be predated. You didn't want to see the tiny moments between his actions. And so, for you, it was if at one moment, you were on your knees before him, the next, you were pinned onto your back on the bed, his hands pinning your arms above your head. You arched your back and rolled your head back, baring your throat. "Take me, Alucard, I don't want to be a fucking virgin anymore!"
"If you move, without you telling you, I'll not pleasure you one bit, little vampire. Do I make myself clear?" Alucard's voice was just that; crystal clear and ringing in your ears.
Suddenly, there are hands on your hips. They slide down your legs, and then back up, rest on your thighs. "Spread yourself open for me." He demands, gruffly. Your face is so delectable for him that he almost doesn't want to do this; but as soon as you comply, he's immediately drawn to your sweet, untouched nectar. Tearing the fabric of your tights and panties, he's immediately presented with pure perfection, in his eyes. You feel his breath at your core, hot and exciting, before he is flicking his tongue at your pleasure center. He is fairly skilled, or perhaps you're just easy to please, and makes lewd noises as he sucks and toys with the little nub. You can't help but pant and moan, moving your hips to try and get more of him. After a bit, he licks gently while pushing his tongue into you. Alucard groans, and you get wet at the feel of the vibrations. "You're so tight for me. How will I ever fit?" His mouth leaves you, and you hear rustling of clothes, his shirt. Then, his buckle jingling, and his ripped pants falling to the floor. Something bigger than his tongue prods at your hole. It takes you a moment to register, but you realize he means to take you now. You do your best to keep as still as possible.
He pinned you down with his body and looked you deeply in the eyes. "Now, now," he begins, "This may not be my first time, but I can't help but appreciate such a fact. It's going to be better than anything you've experienced,"
"Better than stabbing?" you responded shakily.
"Yes."
"Fanging?"
"Incredibly so. I want you always presenting yourself to me, wanting to be filled with my cock. Can you handle that my little doll? Or will you break into a thousand pieces?" he coos.
The tip of his cock dips into your crevice, pushing gently. There's no need to try to relax—any damage done will be instantly repaired. More of him sinks in. He groans and begins shallow thrusts.
"Good little princess," he says, as you get wet around him. "You like this vampire cock in you?" He asks, haughty. You make a soft mmm, and focus on trying to relax your body, to take more of him. It's already heavenly. Your face goes hot, and you can't stand to look at him, this man defiling you. He is much older than you, the master of your sister. You can't believe your eyes, and you momentarily forget where you are. "Would've never fawned over me if you knew I was the one who would sully you, would you?" He asks, smirking so handsomely that you could've died—figuratively. He pulls your legs around his waist, and pushes into you with much more power. He knows your newly minted vampire body can take it. His thrusts are deeper, and most of him is in you. Then, his hands are on your breasts, groping and squeezing roughly. "I can't wait to see what's under this gorgeous little cupcake of a dress," he says, massaging you. You whine, and arch up instinctively, causing him to hit even deeper inside of you. "But I mustn't ruin a beautiful thing... the dress that is. I have no qualms about ruining you. After all," he grins, and slams into you, pulling a guttural moan from your throat. He grabs your hips and pounds away. "This is my body now."
"There you are, Master!" Your sister's cheerful voice rang through the room. It was at this moment that you both climaxed against each other and Alucard collapsed onto the bed next to you. "We were looking for-- OH God!"
She covered her eyes and turned away, although you were both lightly sleeping now.
"Apparently," Walter chuckled. "He has eaten his fill, fucked his fill and now, he will sleep his fill. Like a wild animal. He must have felt something. The smell of battle, perhaps. "
"My God though... with my sister!" She gagged. "I ought to really lock her away."
"Wasn't that what happened to begin with?" Walter asked, bemused. "And see how that turned out? Nothing could keep him away now."
Chapter 17: The War
Chapter Text
"General!" Two men burst into the war preparation room where you, Seras and Integra were located.
"Communications from the central government information regulation headquarters have been interrupted... We can't contact them! We can't get in contact with the London BTN! All phone lines in a large radius around the building area burning down! Communications are cut off from the ARC air force base. Dorsetshire and Southpool ABs are the same."
"What!?" Every asked in disbelief. That is, except for your own team.
"Army bases in Kings, Greenwich, Bath and Chester are cut off as well! Communications have been cut with the Navy HQ and we can't reach the Intelligence Bureau at the National Defense HQ. We're cut off from the forte crest warship on Thames and have no contact with any of the police cordons."
"Impossible... has a war started?"
"The only thing we have is a telegram from the Irish Regiment Imperial Guard. 'In battle!! Unknown enemy!! They're monsters, save us!!'".
"Started..." Integra puffed on her tobacco. "Yes, finally. The war has started."
Without another word a small militia burst in through the door. "What the fuck?" You looked at Integra with a matching 'what the fuck' face.
"Don't try anything fully, sir Hellsing." The Lieutenant commanded as guns were in your, Seras' and Integra's faces. "As of now, this facility is under the control of 'Millennium'."
The general stuttered in fear. "First lieutenant! Y-You, what's the meaning of this?!"
"This is the 'meaning' general. It is wonderful to be a vampire!" He smiled with his sharp teeth. "How lucky I am! To think I'd even be able to capture Sir Hellsing! The major will be very pleased." Slowly, Integra began to laugh. As a few seconds passed, the laugh became louder and more omniscient. "You, bitch! What's so funny!?"
"You are all newborn baby vampires. And I am in the business of destroying such vampires. For a frog who still hasn't lost its tail to say they're lucky while standing before a snake... It's quite laughable, traitor. You should get an iron cross from the corporal in the other world." Integra replied.
"B-Bitch!" But it was mere seconds before the arm holding the lieutenants gun was sliced clean off.
"Butler. Vampires. Time to work."
"Yes, master." Walter and Seras replied. You looked at your sister. "Yes, you too. Time to put those proclivities to work."
And before you could count to three, you were at someone's throat, tearing and growling with satisfaction. They were newer than even you and you had definitely drunken your fill of blood; your power was small but growing. It took only a few minutes for each of the traitors to be slaughtered. Integra was the first to speak. "Are you alright, general? I had thought that you were the traitor."
"I may be incompetent, but I am not a coward, Integra."
"What have a problem, general!" Another voice burst out. "A private craft spotted a fleet of blimps in the sky about Newfields, northbound towards London!"
"Blimps!? Are you sure?!"
"Yes, blimps. Unbelievably huge ones."
Integra looked grave as she issued an order. "...Let's go home, Walter. Right away."
"Yes, sir."
You looked at Seras and back at the room full of doomed people and laughed. "Shut up." You sister smacked your head, making you frown. "It's not funny. It's sad."
"We're going to cut through the city. We can do that, right?" Integra's face was determined. "I shall do my job. In the name of Hellsing, watch out German vampires!"
And with that, the doors opened and chaos was unleashed upon your eyes. Soliders on the road marched hand-in-hand in order to wage war against enemies from far away. They continued to march only to die, you thought, unfortunately caught in these crazy times. Who knows what the enemies feel deep down in their hearts. Is it power? Greed? Hunger?
As the minutes ticked by you and your group stood tall in the streets, but Seras was counting the number of corpses. The smell repulsed you, old and cold blood. It was such a waste in your head. Why not devour each person wholly? That was how you had expected to go. But now you were in the immortal plane with your sister and lover, watching as soldiers of the enemy devoured mothers, babies, children and the elderly. You thought in order for them to be successful in their escape, they would need only pray to one god: Alucard.
You didn't laugh this time. You could hear the vampire minions laughing their own sick laugh, wasting the life and food around you. It sobered you up considerably. In the car now, Walter drove you all with a purpose. But Integra would not go quietly. From a secret compartment within the seats, she retrieved a musket, loaded with silver bullets and as she unrolled the window, she took careful aim. "Move it, Walter! This is vengeance! They're sure to have reported my sighting back already! We must give Alucard the chance!"
The radio buzzed with static until a message interrupted the killing spree from the car. "The... of... England... the... this... protect headquarters... This is Commander Penwood... Soon... this place will fall, very soon... Monsters just beyond the door... very soon, they're coming.... Defend... Until the end."
Emotions flooded Integra's face uncharacteristically. You nudged Seras and nodded towards her. Seras could only shrug. She didn't know the relationship that the commander and the master had. And you lacked the sympathy to do anything much at all. "Walter, hurry!" But the car came to a screeching halt.
"Lady Integra... Back the car up immediately. please, change routes and find another way to escape. The vampire girls will protect you."
"Walter, no!" You noticed the black and ominous figure standing in the middle of the alleyway. You could feel it. This one was strong and neither you nor your blood-starved sister could have taken him. That left only the butler.
"Go as fast as you can!! No matter what, don't come back!!" He stepped out of the car and closed the door. "As. Fast. As. You. Can. Understood? Do not come back here for any reason. No matter what it is, just keep going at full speed."
"No!" She still scurried into the front seat, ready to do what had to be done.
"Hurry! The way I am now, I can't guarantee how long I can hold the guy over there."
"Butler! Order: without fail, be sure to come back alive."
"Ha!" Walter laughed as the engine revved. "As you wish."
And then there were only you three. But the shots and bombs kept coming.
"You'll have to excuse my driving, ladies." Integra growled. "It seems we're very clearly identified. Correction. I am very clearly identified."
"Sir, what would you like us to do?!" Seras had very worried eyes on, dashing between her baby sister and her boss. "should we clear the area for you?"
"No. I have a strong intuition... I believe that I'm meant to stop soon. They will capture me."
"What are you thinking?!" Seras yelled and you rolled your eyes.
"Seras, she's the fucking target, duh." You scolded her. "Not us."
"Correct, little doll." Integra smiled. "They do not know you both are still free agents. Likely, you weren't taken into account. That, or they believe you to be near Alucard." The car suddenly fishtailed and spun around, Integra desperately tried to overcorrect, but an incoming grenade pushed the car further. You could only await the impact.
However, you hardly felt it. Seras had thrown herself in front of you to cushion the blow. "Oh, sister." You whispered.
"Ladies, this is where I get off. Go, now, without being seen, back to HQ. I will meet you there." Integra had blood dripping down her face. "I will send all these monsters back to hell."
"But--"
"That's an order, Seras. Take your family and go. You have something to protect. Something that gives your master a reason to keep fighting on our side. Protect that. Protect... her..."
And in a flash, Seras yanked you and sprinted at inhuman speeds with you back to the headquarters. "Sera-ra... did she mean it?" You asked, calmly. There was no need to add the excitement. Even your compulsions felt dulled.
"Of course she did. You saw Master Alucard. He cried for you when you had passed, baby sister. And for that love he has for you, however disgusting it is to me, I will protect all that he stands for." She rushed around the mansion, looking for something.
"What are you looking for?" You asked.
"These, I think." A familiar voice rang out.
"Bernadotte!" She smiled at the sound and you wondered if your sister had any feelings about the man holding the door open to a room full of guns.
"Let's get you up to the roof, mignonette. Time to protect HQ, I hear." Bernadotte smiled back as you both came racing in.
"I want one!" You laughed and ran over to one.
"Are you a master markswoman like your sister?" He inquired.
"Nope! Never touched a gun! Much prefer the sensation of stabbing!" Your sister yanked you back by your dress until you sat on the floor in front of Bernadotte.
"Stay away." She warned you as you scowled. "Stay here with Bernadotte. Your job is to stay safe. I don't have much time, the screens say the bombs are coming in less than a few minutes. I've got to go."
She grabbed as much as she could before running off towards what you assumed would be the roof. You pouted on the floor. "Aw, ma petite poupée, don't look so sad. Your vampires will come back."
You looked at him. "I'm not fucking sad. I'm fucking bored as shit."
He laughed. "The language that comes out of you is so jarring! But I'm not scared. Come sit in front of me, I shall braid your hair to pass the time. And we can radio your sister!"
And he did do exactly that. "Keep firing, mignonette... shoot them all down. Those new weapons of yours seem to be holding up nicely." Bernadotte radioed up to her. "The Harkonnen II 30 millimeter semi-automatic cannon. It has a maximum range of 4000 meters and weighs a total of 345 kilograms. It's such an incredible piece of equipment... when it's in your vampire hands, of course, mignonette."
"Bernadotte. Would you kindly stop calling me that? My name is Seras." Your sister had never been one for nicknames. She hardly put up with you and Alucard, let alone colleagues.
The man laughed as he finished up yet another braid in your hair. "My sincerest apologies, mignonette! Let us avenge London and kill every last one of them, eh?!" You cheered as Bernadotte laughed harder. Several more shots were fired before he spoke again. "Can you see London?"
"Yes, I can see it!" Seras responded "Picadilly, Soho, and the Covent Garden are all reduced to ashes. London... has become a synonym for hell."
"I've never liked London. Have you?" He asked you.
"No! It's dreary and dreadful and boring!"
"It's an old city and I don't fit in here. But the cabaret that the Geese and I went to on the weekends served cold, tasty beers. That old bartender would constantly gossip and act like a fool. He was alright, of course. The hookers at the spring lodge hotel were all greedy for money and typically a bunch of ugly cows. But still, they always took good care of us. I feel sorry for those tramps." He was reminiscing now. "Do you have anyone you might miss, petite poupée?"
"Nope! I hope every last one of those orderlies, doctors and my ex-husband's family get eaten alive and wasted!" You laughed manically as you practically felt Seras rolling her eyes.
"There was a granny barmaid at the cafe on Barnaby street... would always bring me fish and chips that I didn't order. She just served them to me because she saw me as a foreigner, and therefore thought I should try the English specialty. Each time I told her that I couldn't eat it because it's too greasy for my tastes and each time I ended up eating it all anyway, so as not to disappoint the lady." He let out a puff of smoke and you crinkled your nose. "I don't like London. But the bartender, the hookers and the lady at the cafe... none of them had anything to do with this battle. The war, Nazi and vampires were all irrelevant in their eyes. That bastard major, Section 13, the Letzte Battalion and Hellsing... Those names were completely meaningless to a bunch of innocents like them. Now they're all dead and being feasted upon by the dead." He bit down on his lit cigarette and you cringed. "I just... I can't stand it! Seras! Let's exact our revenge. We've got to slaughter 'em without mercy. We'll make those Nazi fucks regret the day they were reborn."
"Yeah. I agree." Seras was sickened to her very core. She would make them pay. All of them. "I agree captain. Let's do this!"
"Target: The enemy's flying dreadnought! Prepare to fire cannons!" A pause, "Fire!"
The boom rattled the whole building and you almost fell over. And the booms kept coming.
"Shit, what the fuck!?" Bernadotte bit down on the new cigarette he had just retrieved. "They're flying their dreadnought blimp right at her! Seras! Get out of there!" Instead, however, she loaded up and fired her favorite new fun. Wide area saturation, high explosive incendiary grenade launcher. You watched the screen in amazement as the blimp crashed before it could even hardly get to land. "You got one cool sister, there." Berndotte shook his head in wonder. "But the task isn't finished yet. Everyone! Open your eyes! They're monsters! Geese, here they come! It's time to dance, let's rock 'n roll!"
You laid down on your back on the floor, isolated from all of the action. "Bernadotte. Why are there wars? Seems so... tedious. Wasteful."
"They fight for causes. Some fight for their governments, some against. Some for protection, others for aggression. Some for pure patriotism, others for their families... For women, drugs, food and all sorts of various reasons. But I'd say in the end it boils down to one thing. Most people fail to see that they needn't take up arms to achieve such goals. A few cents is all the reason they need."
"What?" you were confused, yet interested.
"In other words, only a couple of cents are considered invaluable. Who ever has those few cents is in charge. If England has them, Germany doesn't and so on and so forth. To feel like those few cents are in your pocket, many will happily rush onto any battlefield. For that minuscule sum of money, we kill people and we get killed. No one commands us to do so, we do it of our own free will and disguise it with a 'reason'." He took another drag on his bitten cigarette. "It's almost time. The preliminary attack is over. It's our turn now. Watch closely, ladies, we'll show you how Geese fight."
"What's your 'reason' then?" You asked, rolling around on the floor in boredom. "Is it my sister?"
He laughed. "No, petite poupée, it is not her. I fight for the real cause. Because I want those few cents. If I'm going to kill, I will at least be known as honest."
"Seems pretty goddamn boring to me..." You rolled your eyes. "When's Alucard coming back?"
"Don't know." Another drag, "When he's ready."
"Ugh." You protested, but behaved. For now.
"See out there? That's a prime example of what we think of as "the vampire", not you three oddities. It's because of its athletic ability, muscular flexibility and overall strength that the creature is far superior to any human. It not only possess the instincts of a wild beast, but also unfathomably dreadful powers that it can drunkenly summon and use as it wishes. It can easily read its human aggressor's mind and react accordingly by precisely calculating and predetermining their movements. Thereby giving it the ablity to easily doge bullets and avoid all melee attacks. And if that wasn't enough, it can even counterattack by sucking its foes dry of blood. Not really fair to pin humans against them. So then, I thought, why don't we try this? See the screen?"
"Land mines!" You cheered and clapped. "Bloody clever!"
"Bingo! That's what they get for taking humans so lightly. Land mines have no feeling, no heartbeat and no movement. They don't just strike at one single point like a bullet-- they blast everything within a wide proximity. Completely unavoidable."
"Why use such cowardly methods?" You inquired with a giggle.
"We're weak when it comes to doing battle. Nothing like vampires, because we fear it. That's why we try not to face the enemy head on. Do you understand?"
"I guess... just seems less fun." You shrugged as Bernadotte became consumed in giving orders. You preoccupied your time by chipping away at the floor beneath you, wondering if you would fall through to the floor below if you got low enough. It wasn't long, however, until you were interrupted by a hearty "What the fuck!?" from Bernadotte.
"What the fuck, indeed?" You looked up at him, seeing his face now an ashen grey.
"No way, you've gotta be shitting me!" You followed his gaze to the window. To you, there was nothing there. But to him, he saw a giant's eye. Suddenly, however, Seras' voice popped into your head.
Do you see it, little sister?
No.
No? It's massive!
I don't fucking know you what you mean. There's nothing fucking there. Just a bunch of screaming fucking bloodbags.
This made your sister pause. If she isn't seeing it, then maybe... we're the crazy ones. Maybe this isn't real... What I'm seeing is an illusion! I don't know who or what is saying it, but something inside of myself is insisting that it is not real. The 'eye on my forehead' tells me to trust my sister.
It was Alucard's voice who invaded your mind next.
Darling doll, are you doing well?
I'm bored without you!
The 'monster' isn't disturbing you?
What fucking monster?
You could hear him laughing at you in your own head; a moderately irritating sound.
Use your third eye. Forsake your human eyes. Those are but limitations that go along with humanity. You, however, are no longer human. Eyes are but necessities that come along with being human. And you, are no longer human.
And so, perhaps out of boredom, perhaps out of loyalty, you decided to try it. Taking a deep breath, you lied down, trying to ride the waves of the breath moment by moment, resting in your own awareness. Then, when you were ready, you let your eyes close and tried to allow your 'third eye' to open. Whatever that was. With another deep breath, you allowed the screams to recede into the background, but remained still very much present. You tuned into the energy around you, rather than being carried away by the content or emotional charge of individual thoughts (or screams of terror), instead allowing individual thoughts if and when they arise to be seen, felt, recognized and known, and then let go. You recognized them as mental events, occurrences, secretions of the thinking mind, independent of their content and their emotional charge, even as that content and emotional charge are also seen and known. Next, you expanded the reach of your third eye, seeing any and all of these energies like clouds in the sky or bubbles coming off the bottom of a pot of boiling water. Or like writing on water, arising in a moment, lingering for the briefest of instances, and dissolving back into the formlessness from whence they came. Moment by moment by moment, and breath by breath, as you sat in the room, a picture entered your mind and fell over your consciousness.
"Oh, shit. That is one big, fucking scary fucker." You noted, mindfully.
Chapter 18: Responsibility
Chapter Text
"This is bad. They've broke through our front lines." Bernadotte relayed. "It seems that simply making a path of knife hilts was all that was needed. Damn. Never thought they'd be smart." Bernadotte stood up and motioned for you to follow him out to the majority of the troops in the main hallways. "Let's go find your sister. We need her help."
"Sera-ra!" You cheered happily, calling out for your elder sibling, who appeared almost instantaneously.
"Seras. Summon all our troops. Withdraw every soldier out there in the field, while holding the enemy's advance at bay. We need to regroup the remainder of our men. Hold as many grenades and munitions as you can. And mignonette?"
"Yes... yes, sir!?" Seras answered loudly.
"We're going to barricade ourselves in this section of the manor. We'll be on the defensive, and you, mignonette, will be on the offensive. We'll be the sentries while you will beat those Nazi bastards to a pulp!!"
"YES SIR! Understood!"
"You are the last card in the deck we can play; the ace up our sleeve. Lay waste to those monsters, before we become their main course."
"Think you can handle it, Sera-ra?!" You giggled maniacally, "Or I could do it!"
"No! I mean, I can! Yes!"
"Oh, and one more thing, Seras, close your eyes!" Bernadotte commanded. Although confused, she followed directions. And was promptly kissed. You broke out into raucous laughed as Seras stuttered and stumbled away. After a few minutes of laughter, Seras regained her composure and Bernadotte spoke. "All right, now go show them exactly who they're fucking with!"
"I will!" And she was gone.
"She's a sweet kid. Unlike someone..." Bernadotte teased.
"Yeah, she is. She's also dumb as hell." You retorted as he laughed.
"To let such a sweet, dumb girl die... would befit a punishment worse than hell. Am I right, men? If it comes down to that, then all of your lives must be sacrificed." He wrapped an arm around you. "This one included. This is the place that you shall be buried. Your fortress will become your grave."
"Actually." A very familiar voice suddenly appeared, "This one will be mine to protect." And within seconds you were whooshed off to a secluded area and had cold lips on top of yours. "As if I would leave you with incompetent humans. Even if everyone were to perish, we would be left together."
"Happily ever fucking after." You giggled. "Aren't you going to bloody help?"
"If I'm honest with you, my precious doll, this is your big sister's fight. Not mine. It is time for her true powers to become unleashed. We're going to travel." He picked you up and had you wrap your legs around him. "Via ghost ship. Are you ready for this dreadful business to be over?"
"Yes, there's absolutely no time to fuck."
Alucard laughed. "That's my princess. Come, let us depart."
Chapter 19: The End
Chapter Text
It reminded you of a story that your mother used to tell.
Once upon a time, a vampire embarked on a voyage to England to attain one woman he so thirstily longed for. The crowded ship on which this vampire sailed skirted over wave after wave, amid the mist, in a heedless jaunt. Its crew massacred in their entirety along the way. At length, the ship made port in London, awash with corpses and a long coffin. The ship's name was Demeter. Demitri in Russian. And the vampire aboard was the most dashing undead to have ever been seen.
"And that was me, my love." Alucard interrupted your thoughts. "I had not originally come for a woman, contrary to that lovely story... but I am certainly leaving England with the most perfect of all."
"That is sweet, Alucard." You noted calmly.
"You haven't been suffering your compulsions. Nervous, are we?"
"No. No need to add extra pain when everyone hurts the same."
He found the statement strangely deep for the Lolita-styled girl, but was equally impressed by it. "Master! My master Integra Hellsing! Orders!"
"My slave!" Her voice rang in Alucard's head. "The vampire Alucard! Your orders are to massacre everyone. To not allow one single soul to escape this island alive. Dye crimson all white-clothed warriors wielding silver! Dye vermilion all black-clad warriors wielding iron! Stain red the clothes of our enemies; kill every enemy in your sights. Lay to ruin every enemy you see!"
"Yes, as you wish my master!" Alucard's face grew a seductive, twisted smile. The control art restriction system was now set to level zero. A slaughter was going to happen.
"Search and destroy, servant! My orders are final! No matter what, all those who oppose us must be laid to waste!! Anything that stands in our way will be completely obliterated. Crush everyone and anyone who stands in our way. Whether it be friend or foe, we must win at all costs."
"Such nice women I have around me." Alucard cooed to you. "They'll be all mine and only mine. A beloved master only for me, a loyal servant who serves only me and a delicious lover who loves only me. None of you will ever be anyone else's!" He pulled your waist into his. "You will stay here and I will slaughter anyone who opposes that idea."
"Alucard! I am only yours and I would die by my own hand before allowing any sentiment otherwise! And I would massacre anyone who dares to come between us!"
There was a pregnant pause.
"Let me tell you this now." He started. "You are to stay on this ship because after I kill these humans, I must venture inside myself and kill all the lives inside of me. And I am a selfish being... I must have you by my side... even if it takes thirty years to do so."
With a deep breath you looked into his dark eyes. "I would follow you to the ends of the universe."
