Chapter Text
It was a dark and stormy night at Bright Fields and the Selkie and the Kelpie ran to the stables to escape from Gaius (not his real name - real name is unpronounceable in human language). They managed to find an empty stall in the corner and get in - after getting in through a locked door with magic dust.
"We should be safe here," the Kelpie said to the Selkie. "Or we can find a remote part of the sea for you?"
The Selkie shook her head. "We are safe here together. Until Gaius can be gone for good. I wanted to see what humans are like too."
"Ok. Tomorrow morning, we will be undercover and make some friends. If anyone asks for our names, we are Noella and TJ."
"Okay."
They both went to sleep.
The next morning, the Selkie aka Noella and the Kelpie aka TJ woke up to find two boys and two girls - probably teenagers - looking at them with confusion.
"Can we help you?" Noella asked.
"You can explain why you have no clothes," one of the girls sneered.
"They were stolen."
"Somebody stole your clothes?" One of the boys asked.
"Tell us who you are before you ask any more questions."
"I'm Marcus, and these with me are Susie, Mia and Pin," said Marcus.
"Nice to meet you." Noella stood up and the four teens averted their eyes.
"Get some clothes and then get Raven ready," Mia ordered. "The photographer is waiting in the paddock with the others."
She then went off with Susie. Pin went off too. Marcus said goodbye with a smile and came back with clothes for the Selkie.
Once Noella had succeeded in putting the clothes on - and putting a bridle on her friend, she led the Kelpie to the paddock. It was also at the paddock that Noella and TJ met Zoe Phillips the new girl from LA.
However, the Kelpie was not happy with Mia's treatment of him. While the photographer was taking photos, Mia had pulled on the rope. "Stand still, you stupid horse."
"Don't call me stupid horse," the Kelpie said under his breath.
If that wasn't the bad part, there was also the part where Mia got on the Kelpie's back and pulled on the reins.

"Stop pulling him," Zoe said quietly by Pin's side.
"Stop pulling me," the Kelpie said quietly.
Mia pulled on the reins again.
"Stop pulling him," Zoe said quietly by Pin's side.
"I said, stop pulling me!" The Kelpie suddenly shouted.
Everyone at Bright Fields had WTF expressions on their faces.
Noella ran to the Kelpie and grabbed Mia's arm. "If you don't treat my friend right, you will spend a permanent holiday in a lake."
Luckily, Mia was not hurt, but she was baffled when she spotted water weeds and found that she could not get off the Kelpie before he let her go...
Later, before returning home with Rosie, Zoe had been talking to Pin, since she suspected him being associated with the horse thieves, and then she bumped into a young man with curly black hair, which had waterweeds for some peculiar reason (maybe fell in a lake or some other body of water), red lips and cerulean eyes - the Kelpie as Adrian Foote from the film Loch Ness. "Uh, hi?"
The Kelpie turned around. "Oh, hi."
