   Professor McGonagall is SO GOOD here! Her tone, intonation, accent -- her voice is just so perfect. And Hermione's insistent curiosity is dead-on!!

   "What else will I learn? Are there spellbooks? Are there grimoires? Is there an acceptance ritual? Do I join a coven?"
   --> It is so fun for me to read/hear old parts of the story now, knowing how they evolved into plot points in the future. :)

   This is fascinating and so interesting. It's so neat to hear other people interpret the characters and their intonations, and how stressing different parts of the sentence and different tones change the meaning of things.

   Theo's voice is SO DARK SOUNDING!! Very ominous and cool. Very foreboding about his character to come.

   The narrator does SUCH a great job of varying their voice to convey Hermione's mental voice and feelings. Hermione's incredulity and uncomfortableness at varying points of the story is conveyed so well.

   "This was the example covered in the third chapter of the book!" --> very meta comment hahaha

   ugh McGonagall is just SO GOOD

   You can tell I hadn't quite found New Blood's voice yet, with the end of the scene here from McGonagall's POV instead of Hermione's. Bad writer! Bad writer, messing up 3rd person limited. Bad! xD

   Okay but the creepy prophecy effect is SO creepy and good. It evokes the sound they put on Trelawney's voice in the 3rd movie without being over the top like theirs was.

   Luna sounds exactly like Luna. Lunaaaaaaaaa <3

    The voices are all so expressive!

    Neville comes across as so beautifully shy and bashful with just a few words. I love him.

    RON IS SO GOOD!!! He sounds so funny and perfect. It sounds like such a perfect match to Ron's accent in the movies. I love it.

    Harry is so shy and curious. Poor Harry. <3

       The story is by artemisgirl. If you search her on either AO3 or FFN you can find this story. I'd recommend using FFN because that contains the full story so-far, while AO3 only goes up to midway into Prisoner of Azkaban atm.

    I haven't seen such a well-aligned fan fiction with the original for such a long time! It's like discovering a hidden treasure! The last one that I loved so much was called "HP: The Arcane Thief" that I read on webnovel.
