Chapter Text

• Percy also struggles with falling asleep alone due to frequent nightmares, so this arrangement suits you both.
• He sleeps with his arms wrapped around your waist to keep you close to his chest. It lets him know that you're both safe.
• If there are any other things that tend to help with the pain, he'll try to add them to the nightly routine. He enjoys having a specific routine before getting to bed, and adding steps that make it easier for you to get to sleep makes sense.
• If you wake up in the middle of the night, he's a fairly light sleeper and will likely wake up as well. He doesn't complain though, only does his best to help you fall asleep again.
• He is too stubborn to wake you up when nightmares wake him though. He's a hypocrite about it.

• Vax loves sharing a bed with you but he can be awful to sleep with. He's all long limbs and he spreads out in his sleep to take up the entire bed. He also runs cold and piles on blankets.
• He will do his best for you though, even if it's difficult to keep everything under control in his sleep.
• The most effective strategy is usually tangling his legs with yours and falling asleep looking at you. He's more curled up, and he falls asleep smiling.
• He is good with his hands, it's part of his class. So this man gives master-class massages. If that is able to ease your pain, take advantage of it. If it doesn't? Still take advantage of it.
• You can't love one twin without being close to the other. Don't be surprised when Vex falls asleep in the same room after Vex does something stupid in a fight.

• Vexhalia is a big cuddler. It doesn't matter how cool and composed she is during the day, at night she is used to having someone to cling to and If you're in the bed with her, you will not escape it.
• She tends to either lay on your chest or have you lay on hers. It means you guys are about as close as can be and she can play with your hair as you fall asleep.
• If you leave too much extra space on the bed, Trinket will take it as an invitation. Vex is bad at discouraging this. Trinket does function like a space heater though, so he's very helpful on cold nights.
• On bad nights, when you can't get to sleep even with her there, she will stay up with you and chat as she holds you. Even if she can't help with the pain, she isn't going to leave you to deal with it alone.
• Vex really enjoys having a stupidly large bed because she is used to people pushing their way in. After a particularly harrowing adventure, you may find Vax and Trinket both there. It's just part of sleeping in her room.

Chapter Text

• Grog has never been shy in his life. It often just doesn't occur to him to be nervous about talking to people. He has things he wants to say and do, so why would he not?
• It creates an interesting contrast with you. His booming exuberance compared to your quiet restraint. There's a joke in the party that between the two of you, it averages out to the perfect usual amount of speech.
• Grog wants you to feel comfortable around him! He understands on some level that people are often quiet around him because they're scared or intimidated, and he really doesn't want you to be.
• You're definitely able to notice that Grog is gentler with you, trying to pull you out of your shell without scaring you off.
• The extra obvious tell is Pike trying to very nonchalantly tell you about how Grog is totally chill and you can just talk with him! She isn't the most subtle of wingmen.

• He has little restraint and even less shame. He will say anything that pops into his head, no matter how awful it is. Speaking to him will inevitably leave your ears burning.
• Scanlan thinks it's kind of cute that you're so shy and makes a game out of getting you to laugh at his jokes and talk without seeming so nervous.
• Seeing you when you're happy enough to forget how nerve-wracking social interaction is, melts him. The first time that he made you properly laugh, like a full, loud, straight from the chest laugh, he was left a little dazed.
• The innuendos actually get worse. You don't brush them off with snark the same way most of the party does, and he absolutely capitalizes on it to double down on flirting with you.

• Percy has a hack for social interaction and it boils down to being rich. He leans into the 'I am important and smart and well-spoken' part of his personality and it gets him what he wants. So even when social interaction is overwhelming, he can just default to that.
• So, naturally, he teaches you the finer points of it to help you talk when you need to. He lets you practice with him and only laughs when you start making fun of him.
• He is a big fan of leaving crowded situations to go work in his own space, and he will offer you the chance to come with him whenever he does. You just have to hold tools for him while he works.
• If you're in a situation where you're stuck talking with strangers, he develops a habit of sweeping in with a convenient reason for you to leave the conversation. It satisfies something deep in his chest when he gets to play your knight in shining armor.

• Vax'ildan, king of charming his way behind closed doors. He is pretty solidly at ease in conversations, and when he isn't, he can certainly fake it.
• He'll tease you about how shy you are, he finds it adorable and he likes pushing to see how far it goes.
• That doesn't mean that he allows other people to tease you or push is though. He will make them fuck off the moment you look uncomfortable.
• As a kid, he was shy and nervous, but it has been a long time since he had to watch everything he said. He doesn't want you to feel that talking is going to get you in trouble. As much as he can be an ass, he genuinely wants you to be comfortable with him and the rest of the party. 

Chapter Text

• He has so many daddy issues, he is definitely panicking. Even in a situation where you both planned this and want a child right now, he is panicking about being a bad father to your kid and having them take after him.
• Vax does his best to keep most of the panic from you, he doesn't want to stress you out and he doesn't want you to feel like it's your fault that he's worried, but he isn't great at hiding it. He hugs you and you can feel exactly how stiff every muscle in his body is.
• Having a solid conversation with Vex about it helps. And then talking to you for a long time about what it's going to be like having a kid and parenting together. After that, he will calm down significantly, even if the stress hasn't quite left him.
• He wants to be a good parent so badly, especially when he gets to be one with you. The idea of having a little kid running around with his eyes and your smile melts his heart in his chest.
• He's so protective of you now. He already was, but now that there's a baby in the mix too? He doubles down on it. Vex will also be extra protective of you, she is incredibly excited to be an aunt.
• Vax just needs some time to process it and get past his own worries, then he will be the most excited future father. Even when he's still terrified, he is supporting you as best as he can.

• Unsurprisingly, due to having the same parents, Vex also has daddy issues! She deals with them differently though, so she isn't quite as scared of the idea of being a parent as her brother is. She leans more into making sure that she will be a good parent, come hell or high water.
• Presumably, this pregnancy was planned, so Vex knew this was coming. She has everything planned out. Names, clothes, toys, kindergarten, everything. She is so completely, totally prepared for this.
• The night you two find out that it worked and you're pregnant, she cries. It throws her off guard because this entire time she has been focused on the details. But at that moment, she is reminded of why you guys are doing this and of how much she loves you.
• Trinket is just as excited as the both of you are. He has started very carefully carrying around toys in order to prove how helpful he can be when the baby comes. He also just about killed someone when they bumped into you a bit too roughly. Vex was very clearly not trying that hard to stop him.
• She will spend so much time spoiling you and bringing you everything you can ask for. It doesn't matter if it's still the first trimester and you aren't even showing, she isn't going to make you get up and grab things yourself when she can do it!

• Mama Pike, my beloved.
• She is arguably the most normal about this development. She's excited and worried and there are a million emotions going through her head, but the only one that really matters is the overwhelming love that she feels.
• Grog is going to be the godfather, this is Pike's important request. The trade-off is that you get to see him sob about it when you offer the role to him. He is the most emotional about the pregnancy and it's not even his baby.
• Pike really likes kids, and the idea of having her own makes her really happy. Having it all finally come together has her riding a high for the next week.
• She is very careful about keeping spell slots in order to keep you safe. She refuses to potentially run out of them when you need her. She trusts that you can generally take care of yourself, but she would never forgive herself if anything happened to you.
• She enjoys just watching you with your hands on your stomach. It creates a deep sort of contentment in her. She loves you, you love her, your child is on the way and the both of you will love them with everything you have. This is how it's meant to be.

• Keyleth is so incredibly anxious about this, but she is doing her best to keep it together. She talks a lot with Pike and Percy about how she isn't going to disappear like her own mother did. It is her worst fear to leave her own child alone like that.
• But she has Vox Machina to help assuage her fears, and more than anything, she has you. You, to keep her steady and grounded, to love her and to love this baby, to be her partner and help her through her worries.
• She would do anything for you. She would face any fear she has, so long as it meant you were happy. And creating this family with you does make her terribly happy too, despite all the worries. She dreams about it sometimes, about the scenario where she is done worrying and can just live a life with you.
• Her father wants to be around to help out as much as he can. Keyleth is very emotional about this fact. He sends so many of her childhood toys for you to give to your new child.
• She likes talking to the baby before they're born, just laying her head on your abdomen and speaking softly about how excited she is to meet them.

Chapter Text

• Vex'ahlia is well versed in being a stoic badass when she needs to be, so she both understands and appreciates your personality.
• She really enjoys watching you be badass. Combat or intimidation, when she has the chance, she'll step back for a moment just to watch you. Once, when she had been thoroughly drunk, she'd compared it to watching the beauty of a storm.
• She enjoys playing the good cop to your bad cop here and there.
• Seeing you melt in private though? She loves it.
• Vex will coo at you and tease you just to make you blush. She adores being able to get such reactions from you. It is often a bit reminiscent of how she coos at Trinket
• It is so amazing to her that you let down your walls around her. Being the person who gets to see and hear your emotions when you so often hide them from others means a lot.
• She cherishes her time alone with you and will get pissy if it gets interrupted for no reason. The rest of the party has learned to allow her this much.

• Keyleth is a softy with a badass side, so you guys are two sides of the same coin.
• At first, she had felt childish compared to you, falling into a nervous mess after a battle while you calmly cleaned your weapons.
• She wished she could be like that, even as she yearned for your attention.
• After an accidental confession and a lot of embarrassment for her, she asked you out on a date, and against all her expectations, ended up with you as her partner.
• And her infatuation grew into a steady love as she got to know you as someone who was just as scared as her in the face of death, as someone who would do anything for the party, and as someone who melted into her arms during late nights.
• You both found yourselves constantly flustered on dates. It became a source of entertainment for the rest of the party whenever the two of you stammered through flirting with eachother.

• She's very used to the 'badass with a soft side' type, but Grog has always been very open about his soft side.
• When she first met you, she didn't expect to be given the chance to see past your walls. Fighting beside you, she admired you quietly for a long time without saying anything.
• She was often running herself ragged making sure that you were alright in combat. The downfall of pulling off impressive maneuvers was that you were often in a lot of danger.
• And it was in the quiet moments after battles when she was patching you up and scolding you, that you let her see your soft side.
• Quiet, genuine thank you's; telling her how incredible she was in battle; offering her small gifts you had picked up in the last town.
• She was already hopelessly in love with you, so being offered your soft affection completely melted her.
• Discovering how easily she could fluster you delighted her. Watching you scoff at Scanlan's lines, but turn bright red when she complimented you always made her feel a little too smug.

• You have never met a man who is a better cuddler. His arms are gigantic in order to hold you properly, he gives off heat like a furnace, and he is essentially an oversized teddy bear.
• There is nothing more comforting than falling asleep wrapped up in his arms while he sleepily tells you about the latest fight he was in.
• Depending on the nature of your pain, he may have advice that can help! He has taken more hits than he can count, and he hasn't always had people around that can heal them magically.
• Look at the size of his hands and tell me he doesn't give the best massages. You would be lying. Sit in front of him and tell him about your day while he gives you a massage, he will be perfectly content.
• He definitely has the desire to coddle you a lot when the pain gets too bad, but if you tell him to give you your space, he will. When he comes back, he will have some of your favorite food. This is the compromise.

• Pike wishes so desperately that she could just fix the pain as she does with the party's injuries. There's some part of her brain that feels that if she can't help the person she loves the most, then what are her powers even for?
• She makes up for this by looking into everything that might help you deal with the pain. Magical or mundane remedies, whatever you tell her helps you.
• Falling asleep in your arms is something she really cherishes. It reminds her that you're safe and it gives her somewhere to feel safe herself.
• She will stay up late just quietly chatting with you while you both fall asleep. Trading stories and laughing in a sleep-heavy voice.
• Pike runs warm, and with the way she cuddles close to you, it's like having a heater in bed with you. It's incredible on cold nights.

• "I"ve got something to take your mind off of it, baby" You have heard him say this far too often. It is his go to response and it is always accompanied with the most over dramatic, sleezy, wink.
• He actually loves being able to just hold you though, so despite all the awful jokes he will make if you ask him to stay the night with you, he will relish the chance to cuddle with you if that's all it is.
• Scanlan is the type to just draw shapes on your skin when you're laying with him. If you pay attention, you'll sometimes notice that he's tracing letters. Either sappy little messages for you or dirty pickup lines.
• Lay on his chest and listen to him hum, it adds years to your life and it'll make him blush if you tell him how much you enjoy it. (Genuine sap and affection just does him in every time.)
• The only problem of sleeping curled up with Scanlan is that he will sometimes shoot up to write down lyrics or music. Inspiration strikes as it will. He does his best not to disturb you.

Chapter Text

• He is so smug about the fact that he gets to call you his spouse. Absolutely the type to refer to you as his husband/wife/spouse and then melt over the fact that he can say that.
• Similar to the last point, as you now have a title due to being married to Percy, he will find excuses to use it. It's another reminder that you chose him!
• No matter how stubborn this man is with most, he folds like wet paper with you. Percy is awful at saying no to you. He is whipped and he cannot do a thing about it.
• All he really wants to do is spoil you with everything he has. What is the point of money and status if not to give you the perfect life?
• Cassandra does her best to strike up a friendship with you and thinks it is hilarious that you could easily convince your husband to do anything. She will try and get you to take advantage of this for silly things.
• If you become close with his sister, he's done for. Family is so important to him, and you and Cassandra are the biggest parts of his. Having you two get along is all he wants.
• Cass makes a comment once about wanting to become an aunt and almost kills Percy.

• Vex is subtler about how incredibly happy she is, but you know the way her eyes sparkle whenever someone mentions you.
• There are jokes made about you being Trinket's step-parent. Trinket has decided the correct way to react is to try and make you pet him whenever he hears it. If he isn't expecting it, he gets excited and will knock you over from the force of it. Vex loves this.
• Vex'ahlia has a possessive streak and you are well aware of it. She likes having a hand on you whenever she's next to you, and it will become incredibly obvious if she starts feeling as though someone is paying a little too much attention to you. This is when she starts saying 'My spouse," every time she refers to you.
• She will say the worst, most blatant, innuendo in front of the party without so much as a blush. If you get flustered, then it's all the more fun.
• Vex finds a lot of joy in still being able to fluster you, no matter how long the two of you have been together.

• Vax can't quite believe that you agreed to marry him. On some level, it feels like he has been living a dream since the wedding.
• He's so ridiculously soft over you. Vex claims he has heart eyes whenever you aren't looking. She's right.
• He has dreamed of having a simple, content life ever since he was a kid. All he really wanted was to have someone he loved and could rely on. You give him so much more than that.
• His deal with the Raven Queen haunts him sometimes, when he thinks about how much time he will or won't get to have with you. He promised himself that he would give you all of the love he could for as long as he could.
• Vax tries to do small things to make your days easier when he can. For him, that's what love is. Wanting to make someone's life easier, to make them happy. You'll often see small things that he'd done for you without him saying he's done them.

Chapter Text

• Percy is arguably the grumpiest member of Vox Machina, likely beating even Vax out for sheer angst. So it really was inevitable that he would be drawn to someone so sweet and earnest. There's a reason that he and Keyleth are such good friends.
• The rest of the party thinks it's hilarious when you're laughing and grinning while Percy trails after you like a disgruntled cat.
• You're a master of making him smile though. Even when he's stuck in his head, caught up in his work, you cheer him up by just being around him.
• He doesn't want you to lose that pretty smile of yours, he would do just about anything to keep you safe and happy. Even if part of him is envious of how easy you make happiness look.
• You rarely see it yourself, but the rest of the party is intimately familiar with the way Percy stares at you when you're having fun. All soft eyes and his heart on his sleeve. Like you are the only thing in the world. And for those moments, the world is a far kinder place for him.
• You make him happy, you soften some of the hard lines that have been set into his face too young. And in return, he keeps you grounded, meeting your eager joy with a steady practicality.
