Karasu- heavens no, i keep it all encrypted in my own encryption, i created and the only key to it is safe within my own mind. I learned the hard way as a child when some classmates of mine found my notebook and got angry soo.

Izuku was sitting in his apartment located above a coffee he owns, called MudShot! He had been wasting time scroll on some media page until it was time for the cafe to open when he got a notification for a group chat. The moment he realized it was filled with Heroes, his heart rate skyrocketed. Scared he had been found out. so, when it became obvious, they had no idea who he was, Izuku decided to have a little fun. Izuku got so caught up with the group chat he ended up being 5 minutes late opening the cafe. So, in a hurry he changed careful not to rip out feathers, he did not want to go through that again, and rushed downstairs getting everything ready. Luckly no one had showed up yet, so he had time to not only calm himself down but finish preparations.

Soon after MugShot! was filled with the smell of strong coffee and light chatter of the regulars. Behind the counter Izuku looked to be reading a book, is what anyone would but in reality, he was watching, keeping an eye on everyone. MugShot! was considered a neutral ground. He had very strict rules while inside. Although there have been a few times where they were broken, everyone knew they would have a very bad time if they broke a rule.

*Ring*

"Hello, welcome to MugShot! where the coffee is not for the faint of heart! What can i get for you?"

Izuku looked up to see Eraserhead standing in front of him and smiled.

"Stolas Feather?"

Izuku smirked at the confused look on the Heroes face.

"That would be a Large dark coffee with a triple shot of expresso and the house special pastry that's shaped like a feather."

As he explained what the pastry was Izuku moved his large black wing a little. Eraserhead nodded.

"Ill take that but make it 4 shots and two pastries."

" Alright that will be 6.95 and ill get that to you as soon as possible."

Eraserhead paid and found a tucked away table to sit at while waiting. The hero kept his eye on the green haired teen making his order and caught sight of a broad labeled rules. Turning his focus back to the teen, he watched as he skillfully moved around without knocking his large wings into anything. Shortly after the teen made his way to the table and set down the large coffee and a brown paper bag containing the pastries. As the teen walked away, he turned slightly back to Eraserhead and whispered just loud enough only he could hear him,

"Stay safe out there Hero."

Karasu- it's not related to my quirk, but there are quirks out there that are equal to HSAM.

I Bite!!- If I remember correctly HSAM is an extraordinarily rare condition.

RatKing:)- If you do not count quirks then yes very very rare.

Kararsu- Correct! before quirks, there were only 62 people in the world who had been diagnosed with HSAM back in 2021.

~At MugShot Cafe~

In the late afternoon, only three customers were present at MugShot Cafe, enjoying the serene atmosphere. Izuku was seated behind the counter, typing away on his laptop, relishing the calmness after a hectic lunch rush. Izuku was happy for MugShot's success, but he didn't expect it to become so popular so quickly. Suddenly, a sound from his laptop interrupted his thoughts. He checked the program he was testing, but it had failed for the third time. Frustrated, Izuku spent the next five minutes going through the code, trying to figure out the issue.

With no customers left in the cafe, Izuku could finally concentrate on fixing the program. He sighed, closed his laptop, and stood up to stretch, being careful of his wings. Then, he walked out from behind the counter to wipe down the tables. After that, he went into the kitchen to put some fresh pastries out for his late-night customers.

Two minutes before closing time, Izuku hears the door open, indicating the arrival of a customer. With a friendly smile, he greets the person, but his expression turns to shock as he faces them. The individual's left hand is raised, and blue sparks are crackling and popping from the palm.

"I don't want to hurt you, so just put all the money in this bag," said the person, holding a bag in their right hand. Izuku looked back and forth between the bag and the person's left hand a few times before letting out a sigh. He then looked the person in the eyes, unamused.
Izuku wasn't about to let someone take advantage of him. He stood his ground and firmly stated, "No." As they both locked eyes, the would-be robber seemed to understand that Izuku wasn't going to budge. "What do you mean, no?!?" they demanded. Izuku rolled his eyes, placed both hands on the counter, and leaned forward. He didn't care about the sparking hand that was just a few inches from his face. "I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that you didn't speak Japanese," he said with a smirk. Izuku looked them right in the eyes without blinking and spoke loud and clear.

"aniyo, Bù, Tidak, Lek̄h thī̀, Không?" Izuku's smile grew wider and wider, leaving the other person increasingly perplexed. Neither of them moved just stood there in silence. Izuku noticed that the person in front of him was growing increasingly agitated with each passing moment. Suddenly, the person grabbed Izuku by the collar and pulled him close, demanding that he put the money in the bag immediately, warning him that it was his last chance. Now, Izuku wasn't a violent person, but the guy wouldn't take no for an answer. So, he grabbed the hand holding his shirt and removed it. He moved around the counter, barely dodging the fire-covered hand that was coming at his face. With his wings pulled close to his back, Izuku grabbed the guy and flung him toward the door, creating enough distance between them. "I suggest you leave while you still can," he warned. However, the guy was up and in Izuku's face faster than he thought, landing a solid hit to his chest. Izuku stood up, with a hand over the place he was hit. He heard the front door open and smirked. "You should've left when I told you." Standing at his full height, his wings spread out as far as they could without hitting anything, pitch-black eyes, and a smirk that showed too many sharp teeth, Izuku could see the moment the 'robber' realized he had made a mistake. Before the 'robber' could even move to flee, Izuku lurched forward with a burst of speed, slamming into him and launching them both out the open doors.

"They never listen do they."

Pitch-black faded into malachite green as Izuku turned his gaze from the unconscious person to the one who had opened the doors. He took a deep breath, folded his wings close to his back, and let out a breathy laugh. Then, he walked towards the other person and asked, "Need any help with that?"

Izuku looked back at the motionless body and simply walked back into the cafe, saying, "No, he did this to himself. So, Grian, what brings you here?" Grian placed his hand over his chest, as if pretending to be hurt, and replied, "What, can't I just visit an old friend and have a nice refreshing cafe?"

Izuku raised an eyebrow and started to make two coffees. "The day you come here just for a friendly visit is the day HPSC stops trying to recruit me." He handed the coffees to Grian and motioned for him to follow him to a table. "So, what do you need?"

Grian took a sip of his coffee and leaned forward, speaking in a low voice. "I heard that someone was asking around for information on Onikata..." Izuku leaned back, ignoring the pain in his ribs, and asked, "Who?" Grian didn't like the look of excitement on Izuku's face when he told him who it was. After sharing everything he knew, Grian left, relieved that he wasn't on Izuku's bad side. Even now, Izuku's eyes, which were like voids, sent shivers down his spine.

It had been a couple of days since the attempted robbery, and Izuku decided to close his shop until he felt better. He hasn't been very active on the group chat lately. Meanwhile, Aizawa has been more grumpy than usual.

Yippikaiyay- Can someone tell me why there was a note on 1A's classroom door that says 'Fuck Off'

Allopath- I haven't had any of 1A in my office in almost a week, not sure what happened there but I'm not complaining.

Gizmo- He seemed normal to me.

Gizmo- Yup no he has been worse than normal

Karasu- Yup bruised the entire right side of my ribs and side but since nothing was broken I just took off work until I healed. He took a nice long nap in an alleyway a few blocks away.

Night Queen- Bruised ribs are not fun

Allopath- Should've gotten it checked out by a doctor, a bruise of that size is very painful so painkillers and a cold compress are a must.

Karasu- Painkillers don't mix well with my quirk so a cold compress was all I needed, and lounging around.

Screamer- Don't they make quirk-specific medication?

Feather- Depends on the quirk type

Karasu- Yup but I just so happen to be someone who cannot tolerate most medications, including special medications.

Allopath- It's good that you took some time off to properly heal.

Supernova- So you're feeling better now?

Karasu- Much better now, but still a little sore. I won't be going back to work for another week.

Chimera- What really happened?

Raptor- The guy tried to rob the cafe right at closing and got on good hit before I showed him the door.

Chimera- I do hope he learned his lesson.

Raptor- Well he is the reason Eraser and I had a horrible week, should have hit him harder.

Raptor- A good friend of mine was there to help with the door so while we had a chat he had someone come and place my guest in a nice alleyway.

Karasu- It wasn't a major issue, but I had a bad habit of getting too close to the action while watching heroes fight. One night, Midnight knocked out the villain when they came too close to the crowd of civilians when they got too close. After that, I made a conscious effort to watch the fights from a safe distance, away from the crowds.

Night Queen- As glad as I am that I was there to help, that doesn't help in any way to figure out who you are!

As Powerloader sat in Nezu's office, he was awestruck looking over the files sent by Karasu.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Nezu asked, watching as Powerloader looked over the files for the third time.

"I'm impressed," Powerloader said, "but if this is unfinished, I need to see what a finished one is like." The grin spreading across the chimera's face made Powerloader wish to be anywhere else.

"I'm not asking you to give up your informants, Giran," Izuku said firmly as he sat across from the older villain. "This is not just about someone seeking information to gain an advantage. This is someone who wants to know everything about Onikata!" Izuku removed the ice pack from his side and looked Giran right in the eyes. "You know what would happen if they obtained what they wanted, and we both know it won't end well." He leaned forward, ignoring the searing pain in his side.

"I understand," Giran said, running a hand down his face with a sigh. He crossed his arms and hoped that Izuku would take his next words to heart. "I know how important this is, and I can confidently say that neither I nor anyone I work with would ever give up such information."

Izuku leaned back and put the not-so-cold ice pack on his side. He closed his eyes for a moment and then asked Giran a question. He wondered what was preventing someone else from taking similar action. After taking a slow, deep breath, Izuku opened his eyes. His normally sparkling green eyes were now completely pitch black as he stared directly into Giran's own dark eyes. Izuku spoke with conviction.

"I put too much effort into keeping Onikata hidden. Not to mention everything I did to keep Koakuma safe. I'll be damned if I let anyone or anything threaten that."Slowly, Izuku got up while still holding the ice pack against his side. He walked towards the door leading upstairs to his home without looking back.

As Izuku was locking his phone, he heard the sound of a bell above the door ring. He looked up and saw Eraserhead approaching the counter, looking exhausted. However, before the Underground Hero could place his order, Izuku gestured for him to take a seat instead. Luckily, Eraserhead understood and sat down at one of the booths. Shortly after, Izuku returned with a large cup of coffee and a small bowl of coffee jelly topped with what looked like some kind of whipped cream. Before Eraserhead could ask, Izuku smiled and explained that it was espresso whipped cream. Eraserhead silently nodded his head in thanks and Izuku walked back to the kitchen to begin preparing food for his 'guest'.

The sound of the bell echoed through the empty café, and Izuku sprang into action, thinking that he had a late-night customer to attend to. However, upon reaching the front, he found no one there. He then moved to the booth where Erasehead had been seated, and to his surprise, found that the Hero had left money for his coffee, along with a barely legible 'thank you' note scribbled on a napkin. After quickly cleaning up the table, Izuku flipped the open sign to closed and locked the door to the café. Once he was sure that the front was secure, he retreated back to the kitchen. The warm and fragrant aroma of freshly cooked food filled the air, and the sound of sizzling could be heard from the oven. With everything cleaned up and the food being kept warm in the oven, all Izuku could do was wait.

Luckily, he didn't have to wait long before the back door opened, revealing Touya Todoroki. "Foods in the oven, drinks in the freezer. I'll be upstairs," Izuku said, walking away, knowing that the other male would follow. He made his way to the living area, where he sat down on his couch, waiting for Touya to join him. Not long after, Touya arrived upstairs with a plate of food in one hand and two bottled drinks in the other. He took a seat in an armchair across from the couch, placed his plate down, and handed one of the drinks to Izuku, keeping the other for himself. The two then settled into a comfortable silence.
"I've fed you, now let's get down to business; tell me what you know," Izuku said, breaking the silence between them.

Touya put down his fork, having eaten more than half of his food, and looked at Izuku with a raised eyebrow. "Before I tell you anything, I need you to trust me and wait until I'm done explaining."

"Touya, if I didn't trust you with my life, you wouldn't be sitting here," Izuku replied, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. "So, what do you know?"

"HPSC," Touya said.

Izuku froze in place. It was his worst fear come true. Before he could go into full panic mode, Touya caught his attention.

"I should have explained that better. The HPSC has Hawks out there asking anyone he can and, in his words, 'chasing a ghost'," Touya said, watching Izuku.

"So, Hawks, the No. 3 Hero, is playing spy, looking for Onikata?" Izuku slumped down, looking tired.

"Yes, but Hawks wants nothing to do with the search. He has no choice," Touya leaned forward, looking Izuku in the eyes. "Right now, he's telling his handlers he has a lead, so they give him more time to follow it. Since they're desperate for information, they won't keep Hawks on such a tight leash if it means they might get what they want."

Izuku asked, "And what does that do for me?'"

Touya smiled, his grin spreading from ear to ear, "That gives us enough time to do what we have all wanted for a long time - taking down those corrupt assholes." Touya's smile melted off his face when Izuku stayed silent.

"Touya, please don't take my silence as disagreement. I want nothing more than to watch them all burn, but we can't just go in guns blazing. This won't happen overnight," said Izuku as he sat back up, making sure his point was clear. Touya agreed with him, stating that he knew it would take time and that if one thing goes wrong, the HPSC would only double down. They wouldn't have another chance. It was at this moment that Touya shared his plan to meet with Hawks.

The two of them spent the next hour discussing plans and compiling everything they knew about the HPSC. After another three hours Touya left leaving Izuku to think about what was to come next and hoping the next few months wouldn't end in desater.
