The Unfortunate Princess

Summary:

Mipha had a stroke of great luck when the Godesses allowed her live again, a Lord being the one to give her a psychical form.

Unfortunately for her, It appears to be the form of a Silver Lynel, and the horrors of life plagued her ever since she awakened, 75 years after Calamity ganons ambush.

Will she die alone, having no hands to hold her as some beast, or will she gain friends who wouldn’t let her form block out the friendship and survive.

Notes:

Honestly this just came from an idea of
“Hey imagine if Mipha wwas a Lynel” in a discord servver, and it extended into a google doc of the AU’s info
WWhich it then greww into official designs and a slight fanfic part in the doc

I hope you all enjoy wwhat I prepared at the least

Chapter 1: A New Path

Chapter Text

10 years after her demise, 10 years of pleading to whichever gods could still hear her, to let her live again to help her kingdom.

How unfortunate that a Cruel fate had been placed upon her, the goddesses having heard her, leaded her to speak to a Lord to help Mipha fulfill her wish.
Oh how joyous Mipha was. But Unbeknownst to her, the lord was known for its creatures, Blupees.

So as it began materializing Mipha, it wondered “what would happen if she were to be a Great Monster as well” and with their goal set in action, She was unfortunately thrusted into at least 3 near different forms.
Malice be dammed with a form of the Silver Lynel, revival help from Satori, and still being the loving Zora “Mipha”, has caused her to become a mystifyingly strange Lynel, Even though she’s very small at the moment to even be considered as one.

A coat that Glows and shines blue as a Larimar Gem, bright Daisy Yellow Antennae’s that branch into Marigold colored Feathers, with a long white and wistful fur flowing from the head to the tail as a finishing touch. Her looks are similar to the Blupees, or even the Lord of the mountain itself, but of course, with the horrid body of a powerful Lynel.

The waters that come down from Tal Tal Peak flows in elegance as dusts of glow follow from the height and group together in the middle of its crashing point, and from the pond below did a glowing creature burst out from the waters. Detached from their mind does it flail around its hooves and arms before roughly paddling to the shore. It’s red glowing eyes darting without need, body becoming numb to the cold dampness and some sort of “Life” clinging onto its coat.

Fortunately before the Creature even had the chance to traverse the lands in its strange Mystical Form, the remaining Energy from being ripped between realms and Converting from a Spirit into a Living monstrous form, having to swim out of the place they existed from, has overwhelmed and exhausted Mipha. Forcing her to find a secluded and unknown cave and be casted into a long heavy slumber, She safely hides away from the outer world.

Lands have changed and the rivers have shifted as her and the rest of the champions, her friends, have been built into areas or Statues that can be loved by all.
Her dormant sleep has shifted her form away from the Blupees, and into her own. Her mane shifting into more of a lion, her fur turning into a shade of Magenta as her scales and coat became a lovely Cerise with cream on the lower areas and salmon near the middle.

The antennas formed into the shape of large antlers with it resembling the signature colors of her lightscale trident, her tail splitting into 3 dorsales that have fur flowing in the familiar Shades of Blue and Honey from them.
Fins grow from both her arms and horse legs, similar to the color of the tails. Her sheer form and size having grown larger by time, but consequently, her powers to heal has been locked behind some sort of blockage. Her champions tunic and jewelry still remained with her, but in a satchel instead of adorning her.

In the 75th year of Calamity Ganon’s last return and sealing, Mipha had awoken.

Once she stirred awake, She remembered everything that happened during her life and after her death, and it hit her like a full speed Tuna as soon as she gained awareness of her surroundings. How Ironic that she manages to retain these memories but not recognize the changes of herself as she yawns and starts traversing through the cave system.

While exploring, she grew aware of the sounds of hooves “nearby” as well as her Senses being enhanced, the scent of Bright Blooms flourishing throughout the caverns, as well as the feeling of rushing water coming from certain directions through the tunnels.
What would've taken her a while has instead taken her a few minutes to get to the entrance of the cave, seemingly much faster than what she’d expected. But before she could dwell on it, the fresh air of the pines and flowers hit her nose, followed by the smell and sounds of the pond's water being pelted by rain, the bucks walking and birds chirping nearby. How her heart longed for this moment.

Eyes closed, Walking slowly to the pond, She takes enjoyment in feeling the damp grass and the smell of pine mist. The feeling of the grass being pressed underneath her and the sounds of birds chirping with the dwindling  pattering of the rain. Not long had the sounds of water drew closer until she felt the waters of the pond reach her hooves.

Wait.

Hooves?

.

.

.

She felt uneasy, an eerie ringing taking over her hearing as she slowly looked down to take up whatever information she might see. Then, as the last rain cloud passed into partially sunny skies, she gasped, the enhancement of her eyes showed everything so clearly and so regrettably.

She had long magenta fur and multi-colored finned hetlocks, 4 on each hoof in fact, leading up into strong legs that attach to a large chest, slowly leading up to her almost normal stomach where a satchel was secured across.
This had Mipha’s mind turnin, she thinks about seeking comfort by lookin through the pond's wavering waters to see her own reflection, her face to make sure it’s just a hallucination from whatever effect had lingered.

She finally noticed how far away the pond was from her upper body, so she crouched, or well, laid her Front legs down enough to get a much clearer look, alas she didn’t have to look too hard as she saw Amber eyes staring back at her, but as familiar as her eyes were, it still showed a large difference.
The recognizable beautiful amber had taken over her sclera for a note, accompanying it was large eyelashes that leads to a particular snout on her face, a furred beard streaming down from her chin and cheeks, as well as very large and soft fur sprouting from all sides of her neck and head like a outward Peony.

Antlers sprout from the peak of the large loose strands that rest near her face, both resembling that of a large elk instead of curved horns.
It took a moment to let the sight sink in, but when she moved again, it joltily freaked Mipha out enough that she fell to her side, landing too hard and heavy to not notice the rest of her body that sprawled out from her half.
Each breath she heaved made the large horse torso rise and fall, the salmon colored stripes on the fur stretching with it. Hooves twitch in shock from the fall, but they still respond slightly to her.

Although the realization and view is quite terrifying to say nonetheless, she examines herself a bit closer and becomes intrigued while taking in more details.

One thing she noticed was that she still has her Scale colors, fins, and whatnot. But it seems a lot more different in a way. Slowly again, she started taking control of her  “legs”, and had finally successfully risen onto her hooves as they still shuddered a bit and came up with a conclusion on what she is now.

A Lynel.

This is a realization that shot shivers to her spine, her breathing picking up a pace and her claws shuddering as she remembers a memory of the last time she fought a Lynel, which was with A beloved friend , Link.

The memory reeled her back into the moment,  She wondered why she was casted into the living as a Lynel instead of a Zora, her heart starting to ache as she pinched her snout bridge with her claws to think of this as a large joke and dream,  but sighed as she realized that rejecting and questioning the results will only make things difficult to live with, She thinks.

So with another large sigh, she starts walking around the area she’s in, One thing that she noticed for sure was that she’s a few feet shorter than the pine tree near her, a medium one to be specific, so she’s pretty huge. Another thing is that the animals nearby didn't quite run away when She got near them, even getting close enough to the point some birds decided to just perch on her horn, as if it was just a regular tree branch.
She lets out a small breath of relief, knowing that if she’s ever feeling lonely, she can always hang out with the birds now. And in case trying to reconnect with her family doesn’t go well.

Wait, her family. Her Claws started trembling as a stream of dizziness entered her head, placing a shaking hand onto her cheek as she slowly lay down again.

Her father and her brother, how happy they would be to see her again. She wonders what Sidon looks like now, has he grown up to be Kind and Strong? Has her kingdom flourished through the years? Wait, what would they think, They would surely recognize her, yes? No, no they wouldn’t, as soon as any Zora sees her she’d be seen as a threat.

Her mind only had a quick moment to feel happiness before reality crashed down on it.

The truth finally causes her to sob, her tears stream down onto the fur of her beard, her strange ears drooping in response to the emotions but still keeping awareness of her surroundings, trembling hands holding herself close as she freely lets out the flood of wails for this day.

The birds on the nearby branches kept watch of her, tilting their heads and hopping closer every so often.

Bucks and doe have scattered a little from this, but returning to their area nonetheless as their ears perk towards her while they graze.

The breeze rustling through the pine needles and flowing between rock formations around, creating some sort of noise to help fill in the silence.

The waterfall continuously poured into the pond in front of her.

Rejoice, Today we witness a rebirth in The Grotto.

The sun has risen, much hours have passed since Mipha’s first slumber in her new life. Having chosen to sleep at the pond, The first thing she did was gather some food for the travels, although there weren't any trees bearing fruit nearby, nor any fruitful bushes either.
But what she did remember were the fishes and bucks nearby, though she was very hesitant on killing the bucks for food, so she chose the fish.

It surprisingly was still easy, just needing to wade into the pond and snatch some with her claws, better when she still retained her fast reflexes.

What wasn’t easy however was the slight fork in her first step into the journey. To the left she could see a patchy path leading underneath some sort of stone tunnel, and to her right is a path leading to a curved corner that she couldn’t make out where it continues.
The right seemed to be a little intriguing, but Mipha decided that was for the latter, so she took a deep breath, made sure the string containing the fish was secure, and started trotting towards the left path.
The path seemed to lead downhill after a few feet, birds on the path fly away as she continues trotting and The path indeed continues under the stone tunnel. It leads into a small pine forest that seems to be where the path ends, containing a couple of flowers, boulders, and darner flies.

She snatched a few of the darner flies and Silent mushrooms, adding them into her satchel before walking into the open field, it was a great mistake though as she froze up instantly to a figure that stared back at her.

A White-maned Lynel.

It stared at her with its bright red eyes, then, as if the world wasn’t done playing with her, it started walking towards her as it sheathes its Sword. Mipha was terrified, she was panicking internally, she didn’t have any weapons with her, nor was there anything near her that could be used as one.
Closing her eyes in hopes that it would just change their mind and think of her as nothing, she stood there for a while, hearing the steps getting closer and stopping a few feet in front of her.

She could only hear the breathing of it and sniffing, hooves shifting the grass underneath them, a sound of a sword being sheathed, and then a Grunt.

Mipha shot her eyes open in fear that it was about to attack her, raising her arms up in a brace. But what she saw instead was them just tilting its head up at her, confusion taking up its face, it grunted and made a puffing noise towards her.

Although she shouldn’t understand what it was saying, she understood it clearly. The Lynel was greeting her in a peaceful way, so she decided to make a puffing noise back.
Seemingly alright with the answer, it shook their mane and crossed their arms, making a few grunting noises as a reply.
The grunting was just them asking what she was doing in their territory, and where was their weapons .

She stumbled on her reply and raspingly grunted back, shocking herself from knowing the language, she tells how she had awoken from a long slumber with no weapons or defense, all but a small bag of hers.

The Lynel seemed to think of this answer, their claw perched under their chin as they continued to stare up at her. Mipha slightly shifted under the stare, worried of what would happen next, if she would have to fight the Lynel or if they would merely let her go.
They however did neither, nodding to their own idea and started trotting away with a grunt, simply telling her to follow.

She was albit confused but was a Full of curiosity of what they would show her, so she trotted near them as she kept an eye at her pace.
They started leading her away from the stone tunnel and towards a slightly dipped dirt path with scattered birch tree, Soon galloping through the field of grass as they still kept her led in mind.
The Lynel stopped near a short ledge and pointed her towards a small Camp of Bokoblins, it grunted and snorted, saying how There're a few bokoblins with weird arrows and bows.

Mipha thought of what they were saying, quickly forming an idea and showing a grateful smile towards the Lynel, grunting a thank you and quickly trotting towards the small camp, the White-Maned Lynel just grunted a goodbye and galloped back towards their territory.

She trotted over to a nearby tree and picked up a stick to at least have some weapons. Scouting the bokoblins camp first, seeking the one closest to her had a bow, the one furthest had a shield to defend itself, and the one remaining had a bow as well. It seems Mipha would have to quickly take out the archers first, and then the shielded last.
Taking a deep shaky breath, gripping the stick, she started galloping over to the small camp, her main goal being the closest bokoblin with the weird arrows and bow.

Mipha sped towards them, the Bokoblins' ears perked up to the thundering hoof steps, the first one barely having a chance to pick up their bow before they had their head cracked with the stick she held.
Combined with the speed of her gallop and the unknown strength she added into the hold, the stick broke in half against its shattered head as the bokoblin dropped its bow, being flung a few feet across the now armed bokoblins.

Before seeing what had happened to the first one, an arrow whizzed past her ear,  coming from the furthest bokoblins that far from the shield bearing one.
Grabbing the bow before she forgets, she hoofed a quick turn and focused the next swing towards the archer. But before  she was even near it, the shielded Bokoblin leaped near the front of the archer as it snarled, Her eyes widened as she quickly leaped over the shielder.

What would’ve been a smooth landing had instead turned into a lucky action, stumbled on her own hoof on the landing, she fell sideways onto the Archered Bokoblin, a loud meaty crack with a drowned out wail sounding from under her side.

Shivers shot up her spine from the impact as Mipha got up in a haste to see what had happened, Indigo blood splattered on the ground and her side as the bokoblin gurgled and twitched before puffing into a cloud of Electric Purple and black, leaving a organ and a few teeth in its place.
She holds back a gag and shudders, tail flicking in a slight uneasiness as she looks towards the remaining Bokoblin, it seemed to be distraught of its fallen friend as it picked up its club again and headed towards her in a cry.

Holding the stick, she galloped towards the bokoblin and tried striking above and towards the side of them, The shield blocked her hits as it tried swinging at her forearms.
The blocking and striking seemed to be dragging on for Mipha, but an idea formed as she remembered what happened to the second bokoblin she fought.
She sucked in a breath and pushed down a wretch as she galloped back a couple feet and turned towards it, staring it down as it snarled and kicked at the dirt under it.

Mipha took a deep breath and snarled back, rearing back and galloping towards it with a want for finishing this quickly. The Bokoblin raised its shield as she stopped right in front of it, but this unfortunately had sealed its fate as she reared up high and brought down her front hooves onto the shield.

The bokoblin wailed as it was knocked onto the ground, shield cracked under it as she stomped onto it a couple times, blood splattering onto her hooves and forearms, cracking and squishing noises ending as she backed away after a few more stomps.
The mess was, stomach churning she thought, the body Puffing away in smoke as it leaves behind a few teeth again, finally having a chance to pick up another bow and the many bundles of arrows.

Securing the bows onto her back and attaching a quiver containing the dozen arrows onto her satchel, she panted out some relief and took in her surroundings.
The sun was in the middle of the sky, and a gentle breeze brushed through her Coat, the scene of Birch and Pines filling her nose as she attempted to calm down.

It's a shame the calm moment was ruined by fast paw steps coming from behind her.

Mipha only had a moment to turn around before spotting a couple of wolves had started surrounding her, probably the ones nearby the camp that she fought seconds ago. She sucked in air through her teeth and smacked her head gently with her claw, blaming herself for not checking the surroundings first.

Growling As she looked around for another stick or some weapon to use against them, a wolf had lunged below her right Knee and bit down hard, vigorously shaking its head as it tried to steal a Chunk of meat.
The pain shot up Mipha and she roared in a searing agony, rearing her hooves high enough that the wolf dropped with some of her flesh seen in its mouth, she snarled and quickly brought down her hooves onto the wolf, killing it instantly.

She heard barking behind her and started bucking her hind legs towards the wolves that tried to ambush behind her, injuring one and keeping away another. The injured wolf fell back from the fight as the other circled around her again, though it wasn’t quick enough to dodge the strength of her quick turn, striking and Killing the wolf almost instantly again.
The remaining wolf snarled at her, bearing its teeth in a display of threat, this didn't sway her however and she barred her own much larger teeth. The wolf lowered its head a little, still growling as it took this pause in fighting as a chance to escape into the small forests.

Tail swishing, ears moving for any more noises of ambush, she huffed out a large breath of stress as she collapses to the ground.
Her Hind splayed out as she attempted to retain her Breathing again, how horrific it was to finish a fight in the most irking way, only to be thrusted into another fight. She glances at the two wolf bodies, their dark reddish blood staining their fur and grass, and she looked back to her first wound.

Teeth marking out in the deeper part of the muscle as the flesh was torn from a little under her knee, a splatter of her own Violet blood leaking from it in a continuous pace, it hurts badly as she sucks in an air of pain. Mipha placed her claws over the wound and started concentrating, hoping the wound would fade away quickly.

She focused, eyebrows burrowing as her muzzle started scrunching.

No, she couldn’t feel anything happening,  the intense feeling of the searing pain hadn’t gone away, her mind hasn’t been calming down at the slightest, she couldn’t even feel the tips of her claws by now.

No, no this can’t be, no, she, no this, she just has to try a little harder that’s all.

Mipha clasped her hands around the wound, claws digging into it as she tried with all her might to heal even a small layer of the wound.

She’d been there for a couple hours now, the sun quarter away from the horizon,  birds returning to their chirps once again as a few had long settled into the branches of her horns.
Her mind was still rushing with the new information and the many questions following it, all filling her mind as one understanding floats above it all.

Her magic is gone.

No, not gone, she could still feel its presence, could feel it flowing through herself still, no it’s something decently better than gone. It is blocked by something, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, or just something she couldn’t place her claw on it.

No matter what reason she tries finding, reasoning on why this is occurring, it’s blocked. Mipha lets out a shaky breath, she’s not convinced that it was blocked by something mysterious and permanent though, but she’ll have to focus on healing the wound manually for now.

Glancing around her surroundings again, She’s lucky the wolf’s pelt and the couple of herbs around her could provide the most decent of healing. So after skinning a bit of the wolf pelt and mashing a few nearby yarrows into some poultice, she smothered and wrapped it around the bite mark, tying it together as a makeshift bandage.

Wasn’t the best she’ll say, but it’ll do for now.

She glanced over to the now meat of the wolves and picked them up, attaching them to the string of the satchel.
Assuring that the meat was secured, she glanced over to the items that the bokoblins dropped, she vividly remembers a memory containing some visiters mentioning monster parts for “elixirs”.

Not wishing for the “rewards” of her victory to go to waste, She decided to take a few of them and put them in her pouch, and without wasting anymore time, she rose onto her hooves again and  cantered over to the bridges that secured over the small rivers.
Though once she got to The bridges, she started worrying heavily “would the bridges be able to support me?”. She’s well aware that Lynels are quite heavy, even heavier than regular horses, but, this bridge held up even through supply runs and carriages so, hopefully it might be alright, perhaps?

Taking a few deep breaths, she Cantered onto the wooden logs of the structure, but she began worrying again as she took in the bridges structure again.
The narrowness is quite terrifying if she were to be honest, she would definitely have had gone the other path if it hadn’t led past a nearby town.
The trip over the bridge wasn’t as bad as she thought however, almost landing a hoof onto the sturdy of the dirt until she felt the pleasant sunlight dimming, looking up she saw the sky having turned from scattered little clouds to large ones forming into a mix of Slate and Porpoise gray.

“Oh dear, this is a pleasant yet unfortunate shift”

Mipha says this with slight joy yet concern, she’s happy to feel the rain yet she fears that if the rain indeed came soon, it might make the narrow bridges uncomfortably slippery. Nodding to her own conclusion, she Cantered onto the path again and set her sights for the next 2 bridges, needing to cross them before the rain actually arrived.

However, this still didn’t deter her from the sights of the scenery, the birch trees shaded with orange and yellows dapple the small land around her, the waterfall nearby and further away being crashed into the river near her left having calmed her uneasiness. As she reached the Second Sokkala Bridge, she heard a buzzing noise followed by a sweet and soothing scent coming from the right side of the trees.

A honeycomb could be seen a few trees away from the bridge.
Mipha glanced at the bridge for a moment, and glanced back at the comb, she thought to herself for a moment, “well, there’s nothing particularly wrong with gathering some pleasant sweets for the road!”.

Giving the bridge a quick glance, she began trotting towards the honeycomb, quickly crafting another pouch for the honey with the spare wolf leather she had.
As she reaches for the Comb, her ears pointed towards a faint buzzing noise coming out of it, it seems she had forgotten about the bees for a moment. “Oh! How unmindful of me…”
Mipha says quietly as she pulled her claws back from the comb as they started flying near her, she’d respectfully leave it alone but, she would honestly like some honey for herself, as a sweet or  an ingredient.

Placing her claws on her temples, she pursed her lips as she thought of a fair way to get some honey while letting the bees stay calm. Wisdom blessed her as A smile spreads after coming up with a quick solution, she gently reaches for the smallest honey storage of the comb, slowly and calmly snipping it off the branch with her claws and Pulling it towards herself, Mipha made sure the bees weren’t disturbed much during this process.
They seemed to fly around more by the movement of her actions, but they have done nothing else than swarm and crawl on the their rest of the comb and fly around Mipha herself, particularly not too alarmed of a strangely brightly colored Lynel taking a small piece of their home.

Mipha backed away from them gently, placing the comb into the wolf pouch as she turned around and trotted back to the bridge again. Things seemed to go back in track again, even though the sky started getting a bit more cloudy, and the air getting an ounce of chilliness, though isn’t doesn’t bother Her much.
Sniffing the air for any difference, she catches whiff of the rain nearby and sighs to herself, gently placing a paw on her own forehead as she mumbled, “how foolish I am for putting a small need over the schedule of nature” she thought quite disappointingly.

Well, things have happened and she can’t really change it back, all she can do now is canter through the bridges as quickly as she could now.
Mipha nicks at the dirt with her hind hooves and leads herself towards and onto the narrow bridge, picking her pace as she canters through the middle island, the waterfall of the west bridge being much closer than the first bridge.

She finds the scenery being quite undisturbed so far, contrast to what she experience a few moments back.
Glancing to the waters that leads from under the west bridge, she spots a small school of Hyrule bass swimming in steadiness, frequently jumping out of the water for whatever reason they needed.
Mipha licks her fangs as she thinks about eating some of them, their scales providing a nice chew to their pleasant meat texture, maybe she’ll even cook a piece of glazed Bass from the honey comb she collected.
But, glancing down at the chunks of wolf meat she gathered, she sighs and reminds herself to eat her small stash first before gaining more.

Though she does keep a note of where to find the small school of hyrule bass near the bridge, perhaps when she returns to this area, after getting a bigger pouch with some ice, she’ll hunt and keep them with her for her travel.
For now, she could only feel the first splatters of rain had landed on her fur, Mipha sighs as she shivers from the nice feeling of the rain. Though as much as she’d love to sit around and spend her late afternoon in the pleasant rain, she sighs and quickly canters onto the west bridge, not wanting to waste daylight without finding a nice place to sleep.

Continuing her pace on the bridge, It wasn’t long before she reached the other side of the West Sokkala bridge, she would’ve continued her steady pace, but her ears perked up to the sounds of yelps of help that was yards in front of her. Focusing her attention to where it came from, she witnessed a Blue Bokoblin knock down a Hylian Lady with a club, the lady’s sword collapsing onto the ground as she follows soon after, right in front of her tent.

Mipha gasped as saw had fallen and quickly kicked into a gallop towards the Bokoblin, who was raising its club to give some final strikes to the unconscious girl. Pulling out her Bow and arrow on it , albeit with a fumble, she pulls back and quickly lets it loose.
The arrow crudely hits the rock near the bokoblin, she lets out a groan as the Bokoblin gets distracted and snaps their head towards her.

She positions another arrow and skids between the bokoblin and the girl, swiftly sending an arrow into its shocked and gaping mouth. A crunching noise could be heard as three fourths of the arrow emerged from the back of its head, Violet Blood spurted as it coughed and chokes on the blood and the lodged arrow in its throat.
The bokoblin collapses onto the ground and gurgles, before puffing into a cloud of Smog.
Mipha breathes in for a moment before slightly hissing and drops to her front legs for a moment, rubbing the pelt bandage carefully as if this motion would soothe the aching coming from the wound under it.

She almost mumbled to herself before her ears perked up to the sound of a different groan, oh, right, she nearly forgot about the Hylian who was unconscious near her.
Shuffling towards the hylian, she moves her paws over and examines the girl, checking if she had sustained any injuries or scars that would need any help from her.
So far she hasn’t seen any that needed attention, though Mipha still got up and gently brought the girl to her little camp, making sure she’s completely under the shade of the tent instead of the cold rain.

But when she carefully pulled her paws back, the girl stirred and started moving a little, seemingly close to waking from their unconsciousness.
Wishing not to be seen by the weakened Hylian, Mipha grabs the dented club and bokoblin guts and kicked into a gallop onto the stone path again, but fortune was not on her side as she quickly halted to a skid, not even a few feet away from her original position as she just noticed a Prussian blue Hinox taking a nap in the center of the Akkala parade ground ruins.

Seems the cliff base has given the Perfect spot for the Hylian to set their tent and rest before their journey, just on the other side of it, intentionally hiding them behind the walls from the Hinox’s sight.
Mipha pursed her lips and stroked her maned beard to get her mind to focus more, unconsciously she had forgotten about the extra fur on her face until this moment but it didn’t bother her much on this.

She weighs out her options, which is either staying behind with the Hylian, who’s Probably close to waking up and would freak out about a large Lynel being nearby. Or galloping as fast as she could to avoid waking up the Blue Hinox, but gaining a high risk of skidding and injuring her joint onto the wet and muddy surface of the broken cobblestones. Of course, she only had a moment to dwell on her Choices before she heard a gasp, snapping her head around to the sound, she saw the Hylian had woken up and gained consciousness of her surroundings.
The Hylian’s eyes went wide as she quickly slapped a hand over her mouth, mumbling about “cerise” and scurrying her hands to a notebook as she hoped the Lynel wasn’t thinking of attacking her.

Lucky for Them, Mipha’s options weighed heavily on the latter by now, awkwardly shuffling away before the Hylian would freak out more.

Taking one last glance towards the Hylian, she kicked into a gallop and weaved her way around the patches of cobble, constantly glancing at the hinox and watching its breathing for any change in movement, hoping to Lord Jabu that it wouldn’t wake up as she passed by.
Her luck was slightly answered as The quick pacing of the hooves and the slow lifting of the rain had caused the Hinox’s ears to twitch and stir, but they had Mostly stayed asleep and seemingly ignored the clopping of heavy hooves on the muddy grass.

As she kept galloping, she slowly noticed the lovely ruins of a citadel, forming out of the steep mountain behind the sleeping Hinox.
The summit being an eye catcher, but a sorrow in the back of her mind dwells on the fact that citizens used to live on these grounds, a thought she could never shove out of her head.

She was so entranced by this thought, that she almost didn’t notice the fact she was nearing the uphill climb. Mipha wanted to breathe a sigh of relief, but with the faint noises of growls and gargled laughs from the near top, she suspected that she wasn’t out of the danger zone just yet.
Eyeing the top of the incline, she stopped avoiding the cobblestone and focused on the more stronger parts of the path, the muddy path and the wet stone giving noise to her gallops, the Hinox waking up by now but was late as she already made it halfway up.

As she continued galloping, she quickly noticed the quite large encampment of monsters in the right side of the path, she sucked in a hiss of air as she pushed herself faster, up the slippery stones, hoping the encampment wouldn't decide to fight her today. Luck again seemed to be on her side, as she gallops onto the top of the incline, the bokoblins only jumping from the sight of her and backing away from her path.

The rain seems to pick up a bit heavily again, a pebble jutting out had caused her hoof to land and slip off of it, the speed of her galloping had caused her to skid off the pebbles with a strong acceleration, landing onto her injured leg stopping near edge of the path.
Rocks and mud had flung off the path’s edge, the action causing Mipha to pay attention to how close she was to falling off herself. She would’ve been frightful, a little panicked as she picked herself up to get away from the edge, but as she stood up and looked up from the edge, she gasped.

Despite the rain causing the sky to dim and the usual vision to shorten, Mipha’s Lynel eyes let’s her witness the beautiful view of

The distant Crenel peaks popping past the Rocky yet lovely Trilby valley, she sighs in slight nostalgia of the view as her eyes flicked over to Eldin Canyon, the jagged rocks jutting out from within had quite the sight, a stable being right at the bottom, tending travelers and their companions for rest.
However, in the corner of her eye, a blood orange glow shines from the much larger mountain, her brows furrowed as she focused on the source, her breath being  caught for a moment.

There is it, Death Mountain with its glorious pointed peaks and the lava that flows between. She had been staring at the mountain for a while, internally realizing how her eyes are taking in more color and details, even from the distance and weather.

The only thing snapping her out of the trance would be the not-so-quiet duo of bokoblins observing her, a red one hiding behind the blue. It was her luck that they seemed curious and interested instead of an attempted ambush, even though she could easily take the duo down at the moment.
As the rain continued to pour, a thought seeped into her mind as she whispered to herself, her voice mixing with grittiness and tenderness, and a realization sparked

“Is my Domain alright?”

Chapter Text

“How is my domain?”

The question lingered on her tongue, the rain and the bokoblins' little noises cluttering her ears as she pondered. Her hooves had sat beneath her as her cerise coat and mane quickly drenched from the rain again, the wolf fur and elastic threads of satchel across her upper chest beginning to damped as well, yet the items that sit inside it staying dry and Fresh.

((I don’t have breath of the wild yet, so I have a friend that helps me with visual terrain + areas))
And I’ve just been pretty stuck in that situation now, I’m sorry guys I’ll try and get at least a few paragraphs out.

If anyone would like to help me with the BOTW map views+info It’d be very appreciated

Chapter Text

Hey fellas so you know how I’ve been updating little but little behind the scenes?

well since my switch hadn’t been working  for a few months by now, and I still haven’t gotten BOTW yet. My brain decided on remembering the most details of Tabhl Woods so I could write one of the FUTURE chapters of this AU/Fic

yeah it’s honestly not even close to chapt 2 or where I’m suppose to be writing the story currently. Honestly to give you all the Deadline of the journey, I’m basically leading it to getting her first Lynel Weapon, then the chapters of storyline will end there and it’ll turn into either short or long chapters of the years passing as Mipha being a Silver Lynel.

unfortunately the 2 said chapters of those is not wholesome, so yeha uh.
Just a headsupp

as an apology for this I’m also going to basically share the Script of the fanfics to anyone who’d like to read it within a week of me posting this update.
Basically to hear any suggestions or advice to give in the work in progress fic.

that’s all just a notice, have a great day everyone

Lamb dang it’s like 2:10 AM by the time I typed this

Notes:

This update chapter will be removed once I finish Chapt 2

Notes:

I knoww howw bad it is! I’m sorry and I am updating the google doc constantly to fit into a fanfic story instead of just an info dump

My tumblr is
captaintemhote and it had the official designs, though a little under some reposts though, sorry
