Summary:

Wrestling with the weight of his soon-to-be second assassination attempt, Draco finds himself at a Quidditch game.

Notes:

two main things
1. I'm aware I'm not following quidditch rules, I think needing to catch the snitch in order to end the game is kinda dumb (plus it sets up harry to have a "hero moment" every time), honestly i dont care for quidditch but ron and draco do thus why i felt i needed a quidditch chapter as a way of juxtaposing their current lives,
2. for those who maybe don't remember, draco communicates with rosmerta using a galleon coin - copying what the D.A. did in OOTP (if anyone is confused about the coin he is holding)

the eyebrow transfiguration lesson in the beginning (including rons imitation of hermione with lav and parvati giggling, and hermione getting really upset) is canon, the quotes of "devotion" and "service" is also referencing canon things draco told zabini and pansy in september, the troll ballerina tapestry is also canon, i just like to point out whats canon and what isnt incase people reading this arent super familiar with the books and assume i just made that stuff up LMAO,

anyways the next chapter i have planned ( i already wrote out 90% of the script) is also going to be super long (maybe even longer than this) so expect the next update to take a month again LMAO, slowly but surely im slugging through 6th year.... (my story ends a few months after the war is over RIP so i have a long road ahead of me haha)

I know I said I'd update sooner but even more tumultuous things have been happening in my life HAHA . also this chapter was extremely hard to illustrate TT__TT The next chapter will also take a long time because it will most likely be the longest chapter yet! I am truly so grateful and appreciative of all the support I get!

okay, listen, in the books fleur is described as "tall", "silvery", "willowy" , "self absorbed" , she talks to Ginny "like shes three", overall insensitive, says rude things, no one is too fond of her .... except for bill and who else? RON ! ron is the only one who defends her HAHA i know harry is sort of fond of her cause shes so nice to him and shes pretty, but he doesnt actively try to get closer to her/do nice things like ron does LOL i get that shes part veela, but she doesnt have that effect on anyone else, also her doing an imitation of celestine is canon! who else likes to do mocking imitations? LETS PUT OUR THINKING CAPS ON!

sorry once again for the long wait, tbh i just took some time off to make some personal art and also work on the script, i figured out a TON of stuff, dont get me wrong im not making this comic on the fly - majority of things have already been planned out, however there were still some important gaps missing and as we progress further along in the story i really had to pause and make sure everything was in order going forward , so tbh im glad i took this pause - the comic definitely benefited from it. sometimes its important to just stew on things

two things inspired me for this chapter

1. the fact that book ron acts like such a menace when hes upset at others or himself, but unlike everyone else, i think draco would be the only one who likes that side of him XD

2. the embarrassing weirdness of that weasley is our king song, like im so embarrased on dracos behalf,,, what is he doinggg>>???? and ive never seen fics bring this up (maybe they have?? perhaps i havent read enough lol) like yeah i get its meant to be sarcastic and mocking -as in - this is NOT me saying "oh the bully secretly has a crush🥺" .... well okay maybe the chorus line is a little gay HAHA but its more like draco always having an intense fixation on ron and not others .... hes ON HIS MIND who else has he pulled a similar gigantic stunt like this???

ALSO - i am working on redoing chapter 1 - that will be posted next !!!!! the continuation of the story will be posted in september
