Hey there, welcome to the information "doc". Going to be putting together information overviews of characters and locations.

Chapter Text

The world was well into the future as compared to our world. Medicines and technology advancements mostly available for everyone, and general living for most of the world was good.

All good things are hard to keep when disaster comes, the world's cities experienced a version of the zombie apocalypse that no one had thought about but some would have thought completely possible. 

First it was masses of flesh that added onto itself with the populations of the cities, effectively cutting the world's population before zombies even made it on the scene. 

Mutating humans to something that simply wanted to bite and attack other humans, without the need to eat as most fiction versions had. Little logic could be taken from it. 

Night creatures or more commonly just called Vampires, would attack from the air with little living accounts left around. 

Not many even know what happened in that span of time, the main events lasting for different spans of time depending on where you were. 

Internet archives are all that's left to detail what happened, most of the information was forgotten or ignored as years went by. The internet also losing the power it once was, with no one to maintain it many of the systems connected to it fell apart. 

Over fifty years have passed, humans have fallen back in time with some places able to hold onto some technology from the glory days of humanity. Mostly it's gone.

Chapter Text

The daughter of the Khan Doorman, leader of the Defence Guild. Being well-known after her father rubbed Uzi the wrong way, she could easily work in defence or any mechanic and manufacturing role she wanted. But she wanted to do the one thing that the whole colony seemed to despise, weaponry. She wants to restart the manufacturing section that had slowly been ignored and looked down on, many seeing Khan’s doors as the perfect thing to hide behind. Even if most people laugh at the idea that there even are monsters to hide from. A conflicting issue that Uzi thought was stupid and would only make them overall more at risk of an attack. 

She is naturally attracted to go outside the bunker doors, at first in search for electronics for her gun and now out of a natural urge to be outside. 

Colony

Having a fantastic memory, school had quickly been losing its appeal but nearing the end of her base studies meant she would soon be forced into being a contributing member of the colony. But with no existing guild being appealing for her she is stuck sitting in the classroom as the majority of her class and year go out for internships to be ready for adulthood.

Its not that Uzi doesn’t want to help with the colony, it's that no one wants to deal with her talk about monsters or the surface. She is committed to being right but not knowing what was on the surface meant that she was going in blind. 

N

Uzi was just lucky that the first monster she met she survived from and later was unwilling to go through with killing her. Now Uzi can do her best to find out all that she can from N about what happened in the past, only for that not to work since he doesn’t know anything helpful. 

They first have to find their footing and figure out what to do, both having to hide the fact they are hanging out with the other. But the two of them need the other for friendship and sanity. 

Thad

An old childhood friend she had reconnected with after years of distance, he had ended up finding out about Uzi’s escapes and N’s existence much to Uzi’s annoyance. Now he wants to make up for lost time. 

Khan

Uzi’s father but an increasingly distant one, as she got older he seemed to pull away more. Trying to work more as she was able to take care of herself. He is under the believe that she doesn’t need him, not that it has been understood by Uzi. He has been the biggest resistance to her wanting to make weaponry, not that he has actually stopped her. 

Doll

Was once as close as family with Uzi, but after Uzi’s mother died Yeva tried to fill in the space for Uzi. The two of them became sisters, only for that to crumble apart with Doll’s parents death. Doll had an anger directed at Uzi since then. 

Others

Uzi has several strained relationships with classmates and adults alike. 

Teacher seems uninterested in the things she says or does, just trying to get through the school year. 

Lizzy is her school tormentor, the most popular student and the one everyone goes to for news and advice. This included that people should avoid Uzi, not that she ever gave a proper reason.

Chapter Text

*Important note*

This version of N does drift a bit, only due to the fact he isn’t a “blank slate” as his canon version is. Or as completely cheerful, he can be but he understands what his life is. 

Ugh human emotions, am I right? Can’t have anything simply fun.

N’s mind lacks an important thing, memories. He has several gaps of memory only seem to start about ten years back, with some speckled a bit further back. He can read and write but doesn’t remember ever learning how to do so among other skills he has, others have referenced how he was a cry baby when he was a kid so he knows that he had grown up. 

No one really knows or at least won’t talk to him about his shift in personality. 

Usually because of stress but sometimes randomly, he seems to shut down into a more cooperative state. Needing instruction to be able to do anything, the state can last for a couple days to over a week. N never has memories when he is in it, sometimes he is able to write things down but they never tell him what he needs to figure it out or help with his very sane writings that get left behind. 

A generally good guy who is nothing but fascinated by the world that was left in ruins around him, he just knows what monsters are out in the world and he is terrified by them. 

Hunting style

N knows he’s strong and has that as his best advantage. Mainly uses close physical attacks, out of the three he is the best to take hits and come back from them. 

He prefers fast and hard attacks when hunting humans to make their death as fast as possible. He has more use for his tail if no one else is meant to eat from them, it being the fastest way to kill something. 

Manor/company

N understands he is meant to work and do what is needed of him. He doesn’t think to question anything for his own safety and that of others. No need to worry others about things if it would only get them in trouble. 

Uzi

The first human he had failed in killing and too quickly gained an attachment for as she spent a few hours with him. Knowing what he was, even if he did try to kill her and she pretended to be what he was. She had treated him far better then he had been before. More importantly, hadn’t shot at him a second time. 

Mentally N is in need of Uzi, however risking her life in their contact if either of the other two of his team were to find out seems like too much of a risk. But Uzi isn’t leaving him be and N isn’t too willing to tell her to leave. They seem to be stuck together, for better or worse.

V

His relationship with V is very one-sided. While she has never been directly hostile besides telling him to stay away and not interact, she mostly pretends he isn’t around. 

As much as he dislikes it or doesn’t understand why.

J

N’s team/squad leader, who would rather prefer he wasn’t around but needs to keep him both around and alive. Leaves him with a whole day of free time or all day with chores and work. She only requires that he come back at sundown, sometimes before sunrise. Otherwise she doesn’t know or care what he does all day. 

The only continuous role she gave him was for him to watch the bunker doors which led him to not even being able to sleep in his own room in the ship. 

Tessa

N knows of Tessa in this AU, she makes sure that they are all working as needed and with J being her right-hand there wasn’t anything she doesn’t find out about. 

Regularly calling and chatting with J for updates on the team but N don’t actually know what they talk about.

Chapter Text

I was asked for the character's heights and I had to come up with some, well I might as well put it in a high compare site and put it here. 

N being super tall is on brand but he is a skinny tall in AU.
All the classmates would be getting close to their adult heights since everyone is 17-18 already.

Since V and J are on animal legs and basically on their toes they would be a bit shorter without them. They are basically in heels naturally.
Anyone from the colony would naturally be shorter, due to environment and diet.

Khan and Teacher would be above 170cm, with some other adults to maybe getting to 180cm.
