“I’m gonna kill, Toshi.” Denki groaned as he blew out air from his lungs. “I’m gonna kill him. Fuck, I told him not to go on that stupid fucking mission.”

“You’re the one who came to the agency at 2 in the morning during a fucking like tropical storm type downpour.” Katsuki huffed.

Deku glared at the blonde. “Kacchan, shut up. Now’s not the best time.”

“No, he’s right.” The electric hero panted. “I just got scared being alone at the apartment so close to my due date in a storm like this. Just wasn’t expecting my worst nightmare to happen…for real.”

Bakugou rolled his eyes and paced the dark room that was barely lit with back up generated lights. “Whatever. Pikachu, you got nothing to be stressed out over cause you’re in the second best place to be in a situation like this. We might not be the hospital, but you are in the office of a handful of dozens of heroes which we also have a medbay staff. We all have medical training, especially for delivering a baby. You’ll be fine.”

“Kacchan’s right, Denki. Plus, you’re still early in labor, your contractions are still pretty far apart and your water hasn’t broken. Your job is to rest and relax.”

Kaminari hummed. “I could help with your reports. I’m too restless to try to sleep.”

“You’re on leave, Sparky. Sit your ass down and read a book or watch a show on your phone.” Katsuki grumbled. Deku pushed Bakugou away. “What the Hell, Nerd?”

“Be nice. Is this how you would like to be treat when you’re in labor?” Izuku scolded.

“Wait, wha—”

“Shut it, Duracell. You heard nothing.”

“No, no, no, Mido said that like it was matter of fact. Spill.” Denki pointed.

Bakugou growled. “I hate you so much right now, Deku.” He huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. “Found out last week. No more than 4-5 weeks.”

“If it will help distract you, you can help file these. The internet it out so, not much we can do. Also it’s not like we can go out. The city ordered everyone to stay in and only the current heroes out on patrol to continue through the storm.”

“I should have switched with Elbows when he asked.” Katsuki grumbled.

Deku sighed. “Your quirk would have fizzled out, Kacchan. You’re in the best place right now. Helping our friend in his time of need…without his husband.”

(*^&%$%^&(**&^%$%^&(*_)+

“Fuck, fuck, you sure the paramedics can’t get here.” Denki panted mid contraction. He sat on the couch hunched over with one hand holding his tensed middle and the other holding the edge of the cushion. “There…there has to be a way…”

Deku rubbed the electric blonde’s back. “You’re doing great, Denki. The roads are flooded. We have alerted the hospital and our medical staff that you are in labor. They are trying to reach us.”

Kaminari groaned. He choked out a pained sob. “I need Toshi!”

“Still no answer, Sparky.” Katsuki walked into the office. “Shitty Hair is coming up.”

“He worked this morning. Why is he also here for the graveyard shift?”

“He never left. He’s been in the training gym. Didn’t even realize the power was out until he emerged in the lobby. I bumped into him coming back from Medbay.” Bakugou informed. “Pain Killer is also coming up with some stuff to help you.”

“No, no, No pain management. I’m fine.” Kami panted. “Just need some water. Did you get it?”

“Yeah, I did. Here. He is just bringing it up in case your change your mind. I told him that you didn’t want it. He is also coming to check yours and the baby’s vitals. He offered to do a cervical check as well.”

The stun gun hero got up from the couch and held the undercarriage of his stomach. He swayed side to side with his head tilted back. “Ok, Just checking our vitals. Not close enough for checks. Not ready.”

“Whoa, Kami-bro. Tonight is the big night.” Kirishima padded into the office in casual clothes and hair down and damp, freshly showered. “Have we gotten any word on Shinsou?”

“Not yet.” Denki answered looked at the sturdy hero. “I really don’t wanna give birth here.”

“Might be our only option, Spark Plug.” Katsuki sighed. “You’ll be fine.”

*&^%$%^&(*&^%$%^&*(

A scream ripped through Denki’s throat as a surge of electricity travelled down both his arms and scorched the couch he was holding onto. It wasn’t even 4am yet, and already progressed to contractions every 3 minutes. Izuku carefully walked around the lit up couch and snapped a quirk suppressing cuff on one wrist. He carefully reached over and did the same with the other arm. Kirishima deactivated his quirk and went from stabilizing his friend to soothing Denki by rubbing his back. “I thought labor was supposed to be slow!”

“It can be, but sometimes when baby is ready, they are ready.” Kirishima smiled. “You’re doing great. Wanna breathe in some more of that gas Pain Killer brought up? It helped for a little bit.”

“No, no—” Kaminari groaned with his eyes closed. “Fuck, Mido…bucket…”

“I gotcha, Denki.” Izuku grabbed the bin they had at arms reach for the past half hour. Kami hadn’t actually used it, more than spit into it, yet. Eiji took the bin from the laboring man and held in under his friend chin for him. Denki retched hard. He coughed as he caught his breath. He retched again, got one big gulp of air, then heaved up all the water Katsuki had been forcing him to drink. “There you go. You’ve been wanting that out for a while.”

Kirishima took a tissue and helped Denki clean his face once he was done. Bakugou padded into the office with his left arm bandaged from his palm to his shoulder. “Good, you finally got the cuffs on him.”

“Sorry, Kacchan.” Denki whimpered as he waddled around the couch to sit down again.

“Shut it. I don’t care. Just some burns that the Medbay couldn’t heal because they had to fix the nerve damage. I’ll be fine in a few days.” Katsuki brushed the apology off. “I was able to get MindFuck on the phone for 7 seconds and say you’re in labor before he lost service again.”

Denki panted with a nod. “At least he knows.”

“My phone died an hour ago.”

“Why didn’t you let me charge it before I got the cuffs?” Denki blinked.

“My phone is not important.” Izuku shook his head. “Kacchan, did you speak with Pain Killer while you were down there?”

“He’s on his way up. He says that he think if you’re progressing we need to get you down there in a bed.” Bakugou informed. “Do you really wanna deliver the tot on the floor or couch in our office?”

Kaminari scooted to the edge of the couch, turned, crouched down on the balls of his toes, and rested his head on the cushion, with one hand gripping the cushion and the other digging into his thigh and he buried his face to let out another belt. It was like a water balloon popped in the crotch of Denki’s pants and spilt all over the carpet. The explosive hero stepped forward and took the arm on Denki’s thigh and gripped it by the bicep and hand. Once the worst of the contraction was over he pulled the laboring man to this feet. Deku wrapped his friend’s arm over his shoulder and neck. “Kami. It’s time to head to Medbay.”

“Ahhhh, Hnghh, God…” Kaminari yelled. He struggled to walk forward as the contraction rolled one after the other. “Let me go…Let me go…”

“Easy, Easy, Sparky. Will you let Shitty Hair, Deku or I carry you down the stairs to get you to Medbay quicker?” Katsuki asked before they set him down.

Denki panted as tears bubbled in his eyes. “Can’t…can’t… Fuck! Let me go! Put me down.”

“This isn’t the best place, Denks. The halls have no lights.”

“Fuck! My pelvis is gonna split open! Put me down!” Kaminari sobbed. The two heroes holding the man obeyed and set the electric hero on the ground in the dark hallway. They propped him against the wall. Kirishima’s phone had the most battery power so he flicked on the flashlight feature. Kaminari was now openly sobbing and screaming in pain. He clenched the fabric around his rock hard middle and tried with one hand to remove his pants unsuccessfully.

“Kacchan, get his shoes off.” Izuku rushed into action. “Hey, Denki. I’m gonna remove your pants, ok?”

“Get’em off! Please!” At least Deku knew he was somewhat listening.

Kirishima crawled over to Denki’s side and took the man’s free hand. “Here, Bro. Squeeze my hand. Once we get everything removed, Kats or Zu are gonna check on baby.”

“I gotta…I gotta—Kiri…is it ok? Fuck! Gotta—Gottaa!” Denki stumbled over his words before folding in on himself as he body forcibly pushed against his will. Katsuki had yanked off the man’s Vans, tossing them God knows where. He helped Deku yank off the man’s pants and underwear. Katsuki took Eijirou’s phone and pointed it between Kaminari’s legs. “What do you see?!”

“Not crowning yet, but baby is right there, Mouse.” Bakugou informed. “Deku get the bin in case he needs it, then take his hand and thigh. Red, go a head and pull his thigh toward his chest. You’re a champ, Pikachu.”

Midoriya was gone for a blink of the eye. He mirrored the sturdy hero position right in time for the brief reprieve Kaminari had to be over. “Go ahead, Kami.”

Screams echoed the mostly empty dark halls. “C’mon, Sparky. I know you can push harder than that. Baby is right fucking there.” Katsuki taunted the laboring man. The golden blonde doubled over bending as far as his round belly would allow and screamed at the top of his lungs as he pushed with all his might. “There you go. That’s what I needed to see. Keep doing pushes like that. That got Baby moving.”

Denki repeated the push again, not even realizing that as he pushed he release everything in his bladder in a strong jet hitting Bakugou in the stomach and lap. The fiery blonde didn’t dare say anything. After he relaxed Denki felt that he was peeing. “Oh no, nononono, Baku—”

“Hush. You’re pushing perfectly. This happens. You’re pushing everything down here.” Katsuki answered immediately without letting the laboring hero finish. “Just go ahead and empty the rest and move on.”

“I’m sorry.” Kami sobbed as his stream taper to nothing. He couldn’t hide his face due to his friends on each side. “I don’t I can’t…can’t control it…still…”

“Shut up and focus on Baby.” Katsuki retorted.

Pain Killer and a couple sidekicks that arrived early for the morning shift rushed down the halls. “I told you that you shouldn’t wait until your water breaks. I had a feeling things would move at lightning speeds once that happened.”

“Yeah, yeah, hindsight bullshit. You got a gurney with you and supplies?” Kirishima blurted out. “This baby isn’t waiting.”

“Can I?” Denki pleaded.

“Yes. No need to ask.” Izuku replied.

“Kay.” Denki arched his back and pushed. He yelled as the sidekicks scurried around getting supplies in the dark hallways. “Burns!”

“You’re crowning. Big slow pushed, Pikachu.”

“Gonna kill Toshi!” Kaminari screamed as baby passed the ring of fire. Denki curled his toes bore down harder than he ever had. He felt a jerk and relief as the head popped out. He slumped back catching his breath. “Just pull’em out.”

“A little bit more, Kami. Help Kacchan with getting Baby’s shoulders and it’ll be over.” Izuku smiled. “You can do that.”

“Cant… rooms spinning.”

“We’re not in a rush, Denks. Just breathe. When you’re ready, we’ll keep going.” Eijji answered. A sidekick handed Bakugou a cup of water with a straw. He leaned forward and offered it to the electric hero. He took a few sips before than more controlled breaths.

Bakugou nodded. “Whenever you’re ready, Mouse. Go for it.”

Denki inhaled then pushed with all his energy he had left. He felt when one arm was set free and the rest of the tiny human slipped out. Bakugou caught the baby and guided it to Denki’s chest. Sidekicks passed towels to begin cleaning the infant, and Katsuki began wiping off the mess on Denki’s inner thighs and strategically placed the towels in place to hide the mess of fluid and waste Denki had produce whilst pushing. Izuku wrapped the baby up and Eijirou draped a towel over Kaminari’s bare legs.

Pain Killer stepped over with the gurney and the group helped their friend onto the bed. Bakugou went with Denki to medbay so he’d be able to clean up once Kaminari was settled and the baby was examined.

(&^%$^&(**&^%$%^&(*)_+

The sun was starting to rise and the storm was clearing up as Kirishima and Midoriya finished cleaning the mess. Bakugou returned an hour later freshly showered and out of uniform. Deku went after to change and by the time he came back the power was back up and running. The trio made their way to the Medbay to find for updates. Pain Killer was able to get a paramedic here and sent Kaminari and Baby to the nearest hospital. They had also got a hold of Aizawa who informed Shinsou that the baby was born and they were both ok. The purple haired hero was on his way to meet his newborn baby and husband.

Kirishima went to the hospital while Deku and Bakugou went home to sleep. “That’s gonna be us in a few months.” Izuku proclaimed when they sat on the bed.

“You better not go on any fucking missions that close to my fucking due date, Stupid Deku.” Katsuki retorted. “Learn from MindFuck.”

“Either way Denki would have had the baby at the agency. Shinsou regularly works the graveyard shifts. If he hadn’t been on that mission he would have been there during the storm and Denki would have still gone there and been unable to get to the hospital.”

Katsuki rolled his eyes. “It’s not about that. I don’t think Pikachu gave a damn where he gave birth. The dude managed to do it almost completely natural. It was the fact that Hitoshi wasn’t there.” The blonde explained. “If you choose hero work over me, Izu…I swear on All Might’s grave I will end you.”

“I promise, Kacchan. You are the most important thing in the world to me.” Izuku smiled. “And I’m not just saying that because I know you are not joking.”

“Hell yeah, I’m not joking. Now, shut up so we can get some sleep before we go and check in on Pikachu.” Bakugou threw the covers over himself.

Deku snorted, then paused. “However, you told the second most gossip sharer in our friend group that you just found you were pregnant.”

“I told!? Fuck you, Deku. You let it slip. You better turnover and go the fuck to sleep before you say something else and I push you off the bed.”

Chapter Text

Hitoshi jogged into the hospital and to the desk. “Hi, my husband was transported here just recently.”

“What’s your husband’s name?”

“Kaminari Denki. Hero Chargebolt. He just gave birth to my child at Endeavors agency.”

The receptionist nodded and typed away, while Shinsou caught his breath. He ran his fingers through his soaking wet hair. “Can I see your ID?”

“Will my hero license surfice?” The mind control hero pulled out his license. “My ID is in my duffel back at my base I left.”

“This will be perfectly fine. Thank you, Shinsou-san.” She smiled. “Kaminari-san is on the third floor in room 308. Currently the baby is with him.”

“Thank you.” Shinsou nodded and headed toward the elevator. He tried to shake the loose water out of his hair on the ride up. Before he entered the room he let the nurses know he was here and request some scrubs to change into. Once in dry clothes he padded into the quiet room. The electric hero was laying reclined in the bed, bare chested and held the new born against his chest. “Denki?” He whispered.

The blonde flicked his eyes opened to the voice. “Toshi.”

“Sorry I’m late.”

“You’re here now.”

“You were right. I should have never taken on that mission so close to her due date.”

“Damn straight.” Kami smiled tiredly. “She’s here. In the flesh.”

“She’s beautiful.”

“You haven’t even seen here really yet.”

“I don’t have to see her to know she is the perfect thing in the world. You’re a close second.”

“I know, she is gonna cause us problems when she’s older.” Denki smiled. “Look at her.”

Shinsou walked closer and bent over the bed. “She’s a little baldy. Hope that means she’s gonna be a blonde like you.”

“She has your eyes.”

“Hey, Beautiful. I’m sorry I couldn’t have been there for your grand debut. I hope you’ll forgive me.” Shinsou whispered. He looked up at his husband. “I love you so much, lightning bug.”

Denki leaned forward and placed a kiss to his husband. “Don’t even do that again.”

“I promise on my life that I won’t ever leave you like this ever again.”

(&^%$%^&(*)(*&^%^&(**&^%

“How’s fatherhood treating you, Duracell?” Bakugou held the 3 week old in the center of the living room. “You don’t look like your about to fall asleep while standing.”

“I’m not sleeping as much as I would like, but I’m getting a few hours at a time. Also, Toshi has been great. He helps with her before he goes to work and feeds her first thing when he gets home. It’s like their bonding time. Aizawa and Hizashi have helped a bunch too. They come over on their days off.” Denki smiled softly. “Kirishima is gonna be mad, but I decided to name you two as Kayama’s godparents.”

Izuku beamed a smile, while Katsuki just blinked in disbelief. “Thank you, Denki! I thought you would have chosen Jiro and Kirishima for sure!”

“Don’t tell me it’s because we delivered your kid, Spark Plug.”

Kaminari smiled. “You guys both stuck by me the whole time. You didn’t just deliver Kayama, but you helped me stay calm and comforted me the entire time. I mean, I accidently scorched your arm, Baku and you didn’t even yell at me.”

“Tsk.” Bakugou clicked his tongue, but looked down when the infant cooed at him. He blinked away the unwanted tears.

Shinsou walked into the den and reached his hands out for the newborn. “Do you want to stay for lunch? I made a plenty for everyone.”

“Why would I want your shitty cooking?”

“Kacchan…”

“Toshi’s cooking has gotten pretty good. He’s been taking classes in his free time.” Denki encouraged. “I promise it’s really good. We’ve got Nikujaga, Curry Rice that I know you’ll like Bakugou, and Shogayaki…oh I forgot we have left over Tonkatsu, we can heat that up if you want.”

Bakugou grimaced and huffed. “No—”

“Come on, Hot Head. We’ve been out of UA for ten years. You can trust that other from our circle can cook just as good as you now.” Shinsou smirked, rocking the infant.

“I don’t want your fucking food, MindFuck.”

“Come on, Kacchan. We don’t have places to be. We can enjoy lunch.” Izuku tried to deescalate.

Katsuki watched Denki’s expression fall. “Fine. I don’t want a lot. I’m not that hungry.”

“Awesome! I promise Toshi won’t disappoint you!” Kaminari took Bakugou by the wrist drug him into the kitchen. “Please, take a seat!”

Izuku and Shinsou chuckled as they followed behind the two blondes. “I didn’t think anyone could even come close to your level of admiration for Bakugou. Denks is pretty damn close.”

“Besides Kirishima, Denki is one of Kacchan’s best friends.” Midoriya watched Kaminari show the different dishes Shinsou made. “Kami, Kacchan said he wasn’t that hungry.”

Katsuki huffed as the electric hero finally sat down. Deku sat down beside the blonde and Shinsou slowly sat down with Kayama still in his arms. “Ok, Itadakimasu.” Denki smiled. Katsuki nibbled and pushed around food on his plate mostly. “What do you think?”

“It’s great. Shinsou, you should share the recipes with Kacchan. He won’t say it, I know he would love them.” Midoriya smiled. He looked over to his partner wearily. Morning sickness was really starting to hit Katsuki at full force. He was honestly surprised Bakugou had gone this long without making a trip to the bathroom to throw up. For a brief second Deku had the wishful thought that maybe today was a good day for the blonde, that was until he looked at his boyfriend. He was pale with a tint of green. He stared at the plate, pushing the food around with his chopsticks, lips sealed shut.

“Bakugou? You doing alright? You’re awfully quiet.” Hitoshi prodded.

“’M fine. This is really good. Been trying to find a good recipe for Shogayaki. Can never get it to taste right.” Bakugou mumbled taking a small bite. Then cleared his throat. He pushed his chair back. “Excuse me.”

“Is everything ok, Kats?”

“Back in a second.” Katsuki got up and hurried off to the closest bathroom.

Denki looked over at his husband. “Toshi, I swear if you got Kacchan sick, I will put you in the dog house for God knows how long.”

“No, no, Denki, he’s fine. He’s not sick.” Izuku blurted out with his eyebrows raised. “He’ll be back in a second.”

“What else would make him sick?” Shinsou frowned.

The golden blonde jumped and gasped with wide eyes. “Fuck! I thought I hallucinated that!”

Katsuki walked back into the kitchen with more color in his face. “It’s morning sickness, Eye Bags. Makes sense why Raccoon Eyes hasn’t attacked me yet. I’m only 8 weeks roughly. Still keeping it on the down low.”

“Don’t tell me that we’re the only people who know.”

“Of course not, Static Shock. The old Hag, my Dad and Auntie Inko know.” Katsuki scoffed. “Glad to know that we could have kept hiding it, since you thought me telling you I was pregnant was all made up.”

“Something was telling me that it was real because you didn’t go with Kiri to the bar Friday evening like you normally do.” Denki pointed. “And you changed your status for missions to hiatus.”

“Reduced my patrols and added more command center shifts. I’m going home.” Katsuki started walking toward the door. “You coming, nerd.”

Chapter Text

“Shitty Hair, shut up.” Katsuki massaged his temples from his desk.

Kirishima groaned. “Come on, Bro. You are my go-to guy for food. This is mine and Shoto’s fifth anniversary and it must be special. There are tons of places I could take him for dinner but a homemade meal sounds sincere right?”

“This is the opposite of shutting up.” The blonde groaned. His eyes were closed but he knew the redhead was pacing the office. “Are you actually gonna propose this time, Hair for Brains.”

“You know that Shoto is super traditional, so I thought I should make a big traditional Japanese celebratory dinner. I don’t know how to make sushi. I don’t know how to cook these fancy foods. I can barely cook rice. I know that I could just buy premade sushi from a restaurant but it wouldn’t have the heart…”

“I’m going to rip your arms off and feed them to you.” Katsuki laid his head on his desk. Even though he just wanted to rip off his hearing aids and curl up on the couch and sleep to cure his splitting migraine, he actually wanted to help his best friend. He had given up on trying to finish his reports in favor of heating up his finger tips to try to alleviate the pain. The talk of food made his stomach churn, Kirishima’s frantic pacing didn’t help, and the migraine was almost too much. He knew when someone walked in, but he couldn’t focus enough to register who had started talking with Eijirou.

He felt an ice cold hand touch his forehead and his body relaxed in seconds. He sat up and looked to find the body the hand was connected to. It was Todoroki. “I apologize for my oblivious boyfriend. I know the cool is helping the migraine, I can walk with you to the medical wing right now, unless you are too weak.”

Katsuki slowly stood up, but was hit with a wave of dizziness that almost sent him head first into the floor, but the hybrid hero caught him and set him back in his chair. The blonde held his stomach. The world spinning was the last straw for his stomach. He pleaded to Shoto silently as he clenched his fist around his stomach and went to cover his mouth. Thankfully the hero caught on and pulled the nearest trash bin to him and doubled the explosive hero over, right before he heaved up what little stayed down after lunch. After a few minutes of retching that turned into dry heaves, Katsuki was done. He recognized the Todoroki was rubbing his back through it. Now that the nausea was subsided, the migraine punched him in the face. He closed his eyes and just let his head hang. “Thanks, IcyHot.”

“This is the morning sickness that you and Midoriya were talking about the other day, correct?”

“It didn’t help things, but no. This is just my migraine and I can’t take my meds.” Katsuki mumbled.

“Are you well enough to try standing again and heading to medbay, where they could most likely help you somewhat?”

The blonde grumbled and slowly stood up this time. “Fuck off, Leave me alone.”

Kirishima padded over to his friend. “Shoto is only trying to help, Bakubro.”

“Stop talking.” Katsuki groaned as he pulled out his hearing aid and pocketing them. “It’s just a migraine.”

As he was walking to medbay Deku crossed his path. “Kacchan?”

Bakugou flicked his eyes to his husband pointed to his ear. He signed ‘migraine’. The greenette turned on his heels and followed his partner to the clinic without a word. He laced his hand with Katsuki’s. He lifted the blondes arm and placed a kiss to the top of his hand. Katsuki smirked softly and gave Izuku’s hand a squeeze. One of the medbay nurses guided the pair to a more private dimly lit room. Midoriya knelt down and untied Bakugou’s combat boots and pulled them off. “Thanks.” Katsuki mumbled knowing that he wouldn’t have been able to bend over to take them off without his head exploding.

He gently laid on his side in the bed and covered his head with the pillow provide, blocking the rest of the light, even though his eyes were closed. He could feel his vitals being taken and an IV inserted. He did feel some relief when the rush a cool liquid entered his veins.  They must have added a sedative because he didn’t remember falling asleep. When he woke he removed the pillow and slowly looked around the room. The room was still dim, but even with the black out shades, around the edges were dark indicating how much time had passed. Then there was Deku. The greenette was typing away on his laptop in the recliner in the corner of the room. The man hadn’t even noticed that his husband had woken up. Bakugou shoved his hand in his pocket and dug out his hearing aids. His head was still pounding but nowhere near as bad as before, but he still dreaded going back to the hearing world, fearing that it will make the migraine worse.

All the movement caught Deku’s attention. The green eyed hero watched his husband slowly insert his hearing aid and fidget with them. Izuku closed his laptop and got up. Katsuki watched the One for All Hero pad quietly over to him. “Thanks for staying with me.”

“You hate being alone in the muted world, especially when having a migraine.” Izuku whispered. “How are you feeling? You look much better.”

“Better than I did. Still have a pounding headache. What’s the verdict on going home?”

“Nurses are gonna check you out. While you were sleeping they let me know that you were more dehydrated than they would have liked. Are you still bringing up more than your put down?” Izuku frowned.

“I eat what I can and try to keep my water on me.” Katsuki grumbled looking at his IV in his arm. “Morning sickness is kicking my ass, Deku.”

“You have to talk to me, Katsuki.”

“Don’t Katsuki me, Deku. I’m a grown ass adult and can take care of myself. So I’ve been getting sick. It’s been getting better. I only puked earlier cause of the migraine, things were getting better.”

Izuku crossed his arms over his chest. “This is not the dehydration from one bout of sickness. Stop lying.”

“I’m not lying.” Bakugou rubbed his temples. “Fuck.”

“Are you comparing your morning sickness to Denki’s? Are you jealous that Denki didn’t have horrible about of illness? That’s stupid, Kacchan. Everyone experiences pregnancy differently.”

“I’m not jealous.” Bakugou groaned. “If you don’t shut up I’m going to puke on your shoes.”

“You’re not helping your case, Kacchan. Lay back down. I’m going to get a doctor to see if they can get you something for the nausea.”

Katsuki groaned. “Don’t, Deku. Don’t worry them.”

Izuku forced his husband to lay down. The blonde laid on his side and covered his eyes with his arm. “You shouldn’t suffer in silence. I’ll be right back.” He padded out of the room and down the hall. It took a few minutes but he finally found his husband’s doctor. “Hey, Medicine Hat. Katsuki is awake. I’m worried about his morning sickness. Can you prescribe anything for him?”

“Sure, let me talk and examine him first.” The doctor headed to the explosive hero’s room. Before they reached the room, they could hear coughs and retches coming from Bakugou. Izuku jogged into the room to find two nurses with the blonde. There was a splatter of vomit on the floor, hovering over the slop was a nurse holding a bucket under Bakugou’s chin. The other nurse was checking his vitals and IV. “Ground Zero, are you ready to start feeling better?”

Katsuki lifted his head a tad and flicked his glazed over at to the medbay doctor. He didn’t say anything, but after a second of staring he let his head fall as he brought up stomach bile. Izuku started biting his nails. “Kacchan is ok right?”

“Oh yes. Just a bad case of morning sickness made worse by his migraine and dehydration.” The doctor stepped over to the medicine drawer. “I’ll give this to Bakugou through his IV and it should take effect quickly. I’ll give him another sedative. I think he should stay here over night.”

Izuku nodded and sat on the edge of the bed, stirring clear of the vomit to be able to try and sooth the blonde. “You’re ok, Kacchan. Just breathe and relax. You’ll feel better in a few seconds.” Midoriya looked over to Medicine Hat. “Any restriction on work?”

“I don’t want Katsuki working while his morning sickness is like this. I am ordering a week of medical leave.”

“Kacchan is just going to love that.”

)(*^&%$^&(*_))(*&^%^&*(

He was embarrassed. Deku wasn’t even around to tell him that it was ok. He kept his head hung in the toilet waiting for the next wave of nauseous to become too powerful to hold back. “Kats, it’s really ok. This shit happens.”

“Not to me.” Katsuki groaned.

“Even to you.” Kaminari replied back bouncing the 3 month old in his arms. “Your sense are heightened. Of course any smell could trigger morning sickness.”

His body lurched at the thought. “Just go away. Give me five minutes and I’ll clean it up.”

“No way. You’re in my apartment. You’re a guest. A sick guest. Toshi is cleaning it up as we speak.”

Finally his body let him bring up what was threatening to escape forever ago. “He should be sleeping. He has work.”

“Do you think all he does is sleep and work? If that was true, Kayama wouldn’t exist.” Denki laughed. “Dude, we see blood and gore all the fucking time. Why are you getting bashful about a little puke?”

Katsuki lifted his head up to look at his friend. It suddenly felt strange. When had his head become so much heavier? A matter of fact, did his hearing aids die? Kaminari’s voice was so faint and muffled. Was everything moving in slow motion? Next thing he knew he felt a cool cloth get placed on his forehead. He blinked rapidly as he inhaled sharply. Two paramedics crouched on either side of him with Denki hovering a or two away, now without baby. “What?”

“Easy now, Bakugou-san. You lost consciousness for a little while.” One of the EMT’s spoke up. “Kaminari-san informed us that you are pregnant. We are checking your vitals.”

“I’m fine.”

“No, you’re not. Based on your stats, you have not been fine in a while. Have you been staying hydrated? Snacking throughout the day?”

Bakugou groaned. “Try, but it all comes back up.”

“We are starting an IV and we’ll include some antinausea medication.”

Denki frowned. “Kats, you were prescribed antinausea by Medicine Hat a few days ago. Where are those?”

“Never took them.”

“Why? Do you think that taking them makes you weak? Not taking them makes you weaker, Bakugou. Morning sickness is normal! You know why you think I had an easy breezy early pregnancy? I listened to my doctor and took the antinausea meds and prenatal vitamins, I drank water all day. I snacked on crackers throughout the day. I didn’t work myself into the ground. I got hella sick! After a few times of bad bouts…and I took my doctors advice and was able to manage.”

“Fuck you, Spark plug.” Katsuki grumbled.

Denki stormed off. Soon the medics packed up their gear and left once Katsuki was stable again. He begged for them to leave him there and not take him to the hospital. After promising he would follow doctors and close friends orders, they left. Bakugou trudged into the living room where the electric father sat on the couch pumping. Denki frantically tried to wipe the evidence of crying away. Katsuki sat down beside him. “Is it just water or does Gatorade or Pedialyte work as well? Are we talking Ritz crackers or the saltines that are only good if you soak them in vegetable or tomato soup?”

“Water is fine unless you’ve had a bad day then adding those extra electrolytes helps. Crackers are all preference. Toast and egg whites is a good breakfast.” Kaminari sniffled and wiped his eyes again.

“Thanks…for—looking out for me.”

Denki cleared his throat. “Somebody has to when Izuku is not around.”

“Sorry that I upset you.”

“Thanks. If I get to emotional…I start to leak…hormones are still all over the place.” The electric hero smiled softly. “I can still sob at the drop of a hat.”

“You could do that before you got pregnant.”

“Shut up. At least I’m in tune with my emotions.”

Kirishima entered the office after his patrol with a smile. “Bakubro! You’re back!”

“Yeah, yeah, shut up. I was sick not dying.”

“Did you have a nice recharge?” The redhead stopped at the blonde’s desk. “You look much better.”

Katsuki huffed. “I caught up on sleep, got rehydrated, and started my anti-nausea meds and some preventative migraine meds. Morning sickness is practically gone now.”

“You know…you never actually announced your condition to me yet. Shoto told me and you just assumed he would.”

“Whatever.” Bakugou pushed himself away from his computer. He leaned back and sighed. “I, Bakugou Katsuki, am 12 weeks pregnant with Midoriya Izuku’s baby.”

“Thanks, man. What are your restrictions?”

“Light patrols and more control center and surveillance shifts.” Katsuki shrugged. “I won’t be able to do patrols once the bump pops.”

“Are you showing at all yet—”

“Shut up, Rocks for brains!” Katsuki growled as there was a squeal from down the hall. “Dammit.”

“Bakubabe! Youre back!” Ashido busted into the office. She ran over to the blonde and pulled him out of his chair and hugged tight. She pushed him back into the chair and then pulled Bakugou’s shirt up. His abs were less defined, but that was it. “There’s Bakubaby!”

Katsuki rolled his eyes. “There’s nothing there, Raccoon Eyes. I’ve just gotten soft.”

The Pink hero smiled and poked his stomach. “No, there is a baby in there. An itty bitty baby. I know you’re super excited, Blasty!”

“I’m practically vibrating.” Bakugou grumbled. Mina rolled her eyes.

“Come on, Bakubabe. It’s ok to show your excitement.”

“I’m not excited right now. I’m pissed that I’m not being left alone.” Bakugou barked. “Stop touching me.”

Ashido chuckled as she lowered her friend’s shirt. “Fine, Grumpy Pants. I promise you that once that belly pops, I’m going to have my hands there every day until delivery…just like Denki.”

“It’s Mr. Grumpy Pants. Fuck off.” Bakugou smirked then turned to his computer.

(*&^%$%^&(*_)(*&^%$^&(**&^%$^&(*)

“Right there, fuck. Right there, Deku!” Katsuki moaned. A hand came down on his bare ass seconds later. “Fuck! Hah, Deku…Deku…I’m cumming…I’m cumming…”

“Cum for me, Kacchan.” Izuku panted. The greenette thrusted hard and deep as the blonde spurted ropes of cum onto the duvet. Midoriya emptied his balls into his husband. “So good…feels so good.”

Katsuki swung his legs off the side of the bed and got up. “I’m gonna sleep on the couch.”

Izuku froze. “What? Why?”

“You have patrol first thing in the morning and if I keep looking at your face, I’m going to keep you up all night.” Bakugou padded into the bathroom. “Cause I already want you to eat my ass and clean every single drop of cum in me. You already let me squeeze in two extra rounds.”

“I don’t care about your high sex drive right now, Kacchan. I want you happy and comfy. The couch is not that. I can still clean you out and cuddle you until you fall asleep.”

“When I get out of the bathroom the duvet should be in the washer and you must be in bed. I’m doing this for you, Deku. If you had a later patrol or the day off, we’d be still going at it. You’ll be thanking me for giving you some sleep.”

Deku rolled his eyes. “At least come to bed, not the couch. It’s not like we are brainless monkey’s and have no self control.”

“Shut up, Deku. You should be sleeping.” Katsuki shut the bathroom door.

(*&^%$#@$%^&*(*&^%$%^&*()_

Katsuki groaned from his place on Denki’s couch. “I don’t get it, Sparky.” The blonde sat cross legged on the lazyboy recliner while he fed Kayama. “I’ll be fine one minute and then bam, I’m dying to fuck.”

Denki nodded. “It’s a blessing and a curse, Blasty. Shinsou was unlucky because when I wanted sex he was just waking up for work.”

“Deku has been amazing. He fucks me until I’m cross eyed and drooling. I can go round after round after round. I think I’m wearing him thin.”

“Have to talked to him?”

“No shit, Sherlock.” Katsuki scoffed. He rolled his eyes. “Every single time I ask him if it’s ok. I try to go sleep on the couch, but he refuses. He says he has self control and that he’s not a brainless monkey.”

Shinsou walked into the room. “Midoriya wants you to be happy and if he has to fuck your brains out to keep you that way he’s gonna do it. He’d rather eat a boot before stopping you from being happy.”

Katsuki groaned. “I want him to tell me to go rub one out on my own. I want him to tell me that I’m being selfish and he needs sleep.”

Denki start burping the infant. “He’s gonna hit a wall.”

“IcyHot or Shitty Hair is gonna call me, I just know it.”

“So, serious question. Have you gotten horny with us in your house or places that aren’t you house or the agency?”

“All the damn time.” Katsuki answered without missing a beat. Kayama burped and brought spit out that dribbled down her lips and onto Kaminari’s hand. He smirked at the father’s disgusted face. He wiped it on the spit up cloth, then cleaned her face.

Shinsou walked over and took the baby away from his husband. Denki nuzzled down into the recliner and pulled the blanket that was draped over his legs over his shoulders. “So you’re telling me that if I said that you could go into the guest bedroom, make yourself at home right now and stroke your ego for a while…you wouldn’t do it?”

The blonde blinked. “What the Hell? No! I would just jack off in your guest bedroom!.”

Denki smirked. “You thought about it.”

“No, I didn’t.” Katsuki didn’t look his friend in the eyes.

“You did, Kacchan. You didn’t blow up immediately. Also, you can’t look at me. You are probably now horny as fuck.”

Bakugou blushed and crossed his arms over his chest. “Shut up, Sparky.”

Kaminari laughed. “You’re horny in my home, Kacchan.”

“Shut up!” Bakugou defended. I’m going home.”

“Have fun beating your meat!”

(*&^%$%^&(*_)(*&^%$^&(*)_(*&

A few weeks passed and Midoriya has realized that pregnant Bakugou had minimal self control when it came to his arousal. He drug his feet as he entered the office space after patrol. Tenya stood up and walked over to his friend. “Deku have you been sleeping well? This is dangerous. You looked exhausted before patrol and look you’ve hit a wall now.”

“I’ve fine, Ten.” Izuku yawned. “The hard part of my day is over. I have the next two days off, Kacchan works the next two days. I just have to enter my reports and I’ll go home.”

Kirishima furrowed his brows as he overheard what the greenette was saying. “Wait, Midobro. You and Bakubro normally are excited when you and him have days off together.”

Izuku smirked. “Kacchan has been a sex animal the past few weeks. I have hardly been getting sleep from it. If I say no or ask him to help himself…the pregnancy hormones kick in and I can’t get him to stop screaming or crying…” Deku sighed. “I love him, and want to keep him happy, but I’m one man.”

“I’m calling Kats.” Eijirou pulled out his phone. “You’re in no shape to drive yourself home.”

“Nonono, Ei, I’m fine. I’ll go into the on call room and take a nap.”

The sturdy hero continued to dial. “No way, man. You need to talk with your husband.”

“No need, Shitty Hair. You’re very patient boyfriend, FreezerBurn called me.” Katsuki walked into the office.

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“I’m not spelling it out for you.” Bakugou frowned. “Why haven’t you said anything about this, Deku? Why did I have to learn from IcyHot and Shitty Hair?”

Izuku sat down on the couch, covering his face. “I didn’t want to upset you.”

“I’m more upset that you didn’t talk to me, Nerd. This is exactly what I didn’t want to happen.” Bakugou huffed. “Now, head to the car. I’ll be there in a few minutes. Raccoon Eyes spotted me and has to feel the baby or she’ll have a tantrum.”

“Where do you see yourself in 5 years?” Todoroki sat down on his couch with his long term boyfriend after a long shift.

Eijirou wrapped an arm around the hybrid hero. He pondered for a moment. “Definitely want to break at least the top 20 Pro Heroes. Best case scenario, top 10.”

“What’s about non-occupational thoughts?” Shoto studied the sturdy hero’s face.

“Uh, well Kami-bro and Shin-bro’s tot will be school age…Bakubro and Midobro’s nugget will be not too far behind…I’ll want to be the number one best Uncle to both of them.” Kirishima smiled. “Maybe we could get a cat and or dog within the next few years. I think we have taken good care of our house plants. We could upgrade to a pet or two.”

Shoto stayed stoic. “Is that the only next steps we’ll take in the next five years. A couple of pets?”

“I mean I’d think that in the next few years, we’ll get a hefty pay raise if our ranks keep rising. We could definitely get a bigger place, not an apartment. Maybe a plot of land. The dogs will need space to run.”

The hybrid hero nodded. “What else?”

“I don’t know. Haven’t really thought about it.” Kirishima shrugged.

“Nothing else? Any other steps?”

“You’re being cryptic, Sho.”

“Why do you have to follow the stereotype of buff guys?” Todoroki mumbled. He smiled. “I think you are right. We will be high ranking heroes.”

(*&^%$%^&(*)_(*&^%$^&(*)

Izuku had his phone to his ear. “Other than just literally say exactly what you are feeling, Sho, I don’t know what else you should do.”

The blonde hummed in agreement. “His two brain cells are being crushed by the rocks rattling around in his skull.”

‘Am I on speaker phone?’

“No.”

‘Then why can Bakugou hear me?’

“Well…Kacchan is sitting in my lap…”

‘Am I interrupting something? I can call back.’

“You are in need of advice, Todoroki. I’m here. Kacchan is just being handsy.” Izuku chuckled. “Ignore him, unless he says something useful.”

‘Is that the G-rated term you are using for what he is doing?’

“Shut up, FreezerBurn. You’re one to talk. You’re on the phone with Deku complaining about your boyfriend who is completely oblivious about engagement, while I’m sucking hickey’s on my husband’s neck with my hands down his pants.”

‘I’m hanging up now.’

Midoriya rolled his eyes as he set his phone down. “Kacchan.”

“What? I want to ride you like a horse. Sue me.” In a ironic turn of events, Bakugou’s phone started ringing. The blonde dramatically slid off his husband and walked over to the counter where he had left his phone. “What?”

‘So you will de-mount your husband to answer the phone.’ Kirishima chuckled.

“What do you want, Shitty Hair? I’m horny and want to fuck my husband soon.”

‘I need help with deciphering what Sho was saying earlier. He seemed kinda disappointed.’

Katsuki sighed. “What did he ask?”

‘Where do I see myself in 5 years?’

“Ok. And you said?”

‘Ranking in at least the top 20 if not the top 10. I want a big house, maybe a few pets.’

“Where do you see you and IcyHot?”

‘What do you mean?’

“I swear, Shitty Hair. Where do you see yourself with IcyHot in the next 5 years?” Bakugou barked, baffled by his supposed best friend’s stupidity.

‘We’ll be living in a big house with enough space for our dogs to run, probably even enough space to train in.’

“What else?”

‘I never really even considered Todoroki wanting kids. I just thought that it wouldn’t be for him because his was so traumatic. I would love kids, but it’s not a deal breaker.’

“Eijirou, what do you do stereotypically before you think about having children?”

‘I know that quirks have come a long way, but you don’t technically need to fuck to have children, nowadays.’

“You’re time is up, RockHead. I’m going to go bang my husband.” Katsuki hung up. The blonde looked at the greenette. “It’s hopeless.”

*(&^%$%^&(*)(*&^%$%^&(*)

“Deku! Get your ass in here!” Katsuki called out from the bedroom. “Deku!”

Midoriya jogged in hero costume. “What? What?”

“Help me. Pull the pants together, while I suck in and button my pants.”

Izuku beamed a smile, but made no effort to move toward his husband. “Kacchan, are you starting to show?”

“No, my pants are just getting tight.” The explosive hero defended. “I have patrol today. It’s the one day a week I have patrol. I’m doing the fucking patrol.”

“Kacchan.”

Bakugou pointed his finger at his husband. “Don’t say it, Deku.”

“Look at yourself in the mirror, Kacchan. You have a little pooch.” Izuku cooed.

“Shut up, Stupid Deku!” Tears dusted the blondes eyes. “I need to do this patrol.”

Midoriya walked over to Bakugou. “It’s time, Kacchan.”

“Nononono, I can do one more, Deku.”

Izuku cupped Katsuki’s jaw. “You need to call Endeavor, Kacchan. You’re carrying a child.”

“Fuck.” Bakugou looked up at the ceiling and blicked away tears. “No. I can do one more patrol.”

Izuku turned Katsuki around to have him face the full length mirror. He placed his chin on Bakugou’s shoulder. He cupped his husband’s middle. “Kacchan, this is your baby bump. This is your 17 week bump. Denki stopped patrolling earlier than you.”

“One more patrol?”

“No. Your job is to help your fellow heroes and carry our baby to term.”

The explosive fiery blonde let his shoulder’s fall. “Ashido is going to a have a hay day…”

)(*&^%$%^&*()(*&^%$%^&(*)

The receptionist at the entrance of Endeavors Agency raised an eyebrow when the blonde walked into the office, not wearing his hero uniform, but business casual attire. “Ground Zero, you are on the roster for patrols this afternoon. Did you just want to give me some eye candy to last me through the rest of my shift?”

Katsuki couldn’t help but chuckle at the elder front desk lady. Donna, originally from Australia, but moved to Japan with her husband 45 years ago. She could blend in everywhere with his language quirk, giving her the ability to understand and speak any language with ease. “Unfortunately, it’s time for me to hit the bench on patrols, D.”

“Ooo! Don’t let Pinky hear you. She’s off today, but she can sense these types of things.” The older young quipped.

“Other than Deku, you can be the first to see the bump.” Katsuki rolled his eyes stepping back and rubbed his hand down the front of his abdomen.

“That’s hardly anything, deary. You can’t fit your trouser, yeah?”

The blonde tapped his nose with an affirmative nod. “Keeping them together by a rubber band. I’ll be buying carrier pants after work.”

“Well, good luck, Zero.”

Bakugou made his way to the elevator and called the lift. He felt an arm drape over his shoulder. “Bakubro, is today the day?”

“What are you talking about?”

“You got patrol in like an hour and you’re not dressed for the occasion.”

“Yeah, yeah, Deku has declared me too large to patrol. Talked to Endeavor this morning and I’m officially benched.” Katsuki sighed. “Get off me, you stick.”

“Sorry, just finished my patrol. Uneventful, warm day.”

“Great…” He rolled his eyes, still thinking he could have done one more patrol today. The elevator doors opened. “I’m not even halfway through the pregnancy and already benched.”

Kirishima frowned. “Honestly, I think that it’s for the best. You’re carrying a person. Sure, at the beginning the fetus isn’t viable, but it will be. I’m not a carrier, but I could quit patrolling and mission the second I found out.”

There was a sudden crunch. The sturdy hero looked over and saw that the floor level button for their office was cracked and stuck punched in. Katsuki was shaking the action out of his fist. “Shut up. I put a work order in.”

“I’m sorry, Baku-bro. I forgot how emotional—”

“If you don’t want your face to look like that button, you’ll shut your fucking mouth and stare at the fucking door.” Katsuki didn’t look at his friend in the eye. Once the door opened, he calmly walked out, leaving Eijirou dumbfounded. He blinked and followed his best friend. He was about to say something but Katsuki turned around and stopped him. “Sorry, you know—”

“Thanks, bro, but you shouldn’t be the one who should be apologizing. I made a statement that I shouldn’t have. I’m sorry.”

“Fuck off and shower, Cold Feet.”

The redhead cocked his head to the side. “My feet…aren’t co—nevermind…”

“Have you and Kacchan worked on his birth plan?” Kaminari asked as he and Deku patrolled, a couple weeks later.

Deku smirked. “Kacchan has told me what is going to happen and I’ve nodded along. It’s fine. I trust his decisions and he knows what makes him comfortable.”

“And the hormones?”

“He’s just Kacchan…kicked up a notch with a hairpin trigger.” Izuku smiled. “He’s loving being pregnant. He hates that sometimes he has to lean on others for help and can’t stand not patrolling, but he’ll bend over backward for her—”

“You think the baby’s a girl?” Kami bounced.

“I’ve been trading back and forth between what I think feels right for the moment. I would love a boy. We already have a name picked out if he is a boy. We have the nursery theme designed. I think we’ll be stumped if she turned out to be a girl.”

Denki nodded as they stopped at one of their posts. “Blasty is twent—”

“Twenty two weeks.”

“You should be able to find out the gender by now.”

“Kacchan has refused. If he doesn’t want to know, that’s fine with me. I would have to find out if it were me, but Kacchan wants the surprise.” Midoriya smiled. “I can only imagine how much his mind is racing over all the options if the baby is a girl.”

“Toshi always claimed he wanted a boy. He still claims that he thought Kayama was a boy the whole time. Even after the doctor told us, but he loves our daughter. She has him wrapped around her finger.” Denki beamed. “He spoils her rotten.”

Deku couldn’t help but smile. “Cause he is giving her the childhood he didn’t have.”

They were called to a disruption at the train station seconds later. When the pair entered the office they were not expecting Katsuki to be sitting on the couch with his head tilted back and eyes closed, seemingly peacefully sleeping. They also weren’t expecting to find Mina sitting beside the man sliding her hands around Katsuki’s bare middle feeling for the tiny flutters in his barely popped belly. The pink hero beamed a smile when she noticed the pair. “Don’t worry. Bakubabe let me do this and he dozed off.”

“Did he fall asleep because he was having a migraine? Was he staring at the screen for too long?”

“He was complaining of some heart burn, but nothing too bad. I think he might just be a little tired.” Mina shrugged. “Have you been talking to the baby?”

“Every chance I get.” Izuku sat down at his desk.

Mina pulled down the front of Katsuki’s shirt and stood, but that was just enough movement to jostle Bakugou awake. He flicked his eyes open and hazily look around as he stretched. He eyes connected with Ashido. “Fuck, Pinky. Why’d you let me nod off?”

“Because you’re cute when you’re asleep and you must have needed it. Beside you only slept for like 45 minutes.”

Katsuki grumbled as he rose to his feet. “Fuck off, I gotta pee.”

“You peed before you sat down and nodded off an hour ago.” Mina snorted.

“I told you to fuck off.” Bakugou pointed and stomped out of the office.

Deku just shook his head at the interaction with a grin. Just a few years ago, Katsuki would have never let Ashido touch him like that nor fall asleep in her presence. “Midobabe, I think you should keep Bakubabe pregnant for a few years. This is the chillest he has ever been.”

“Don’t jinx it, Mina. We don’t know what to expect after the baby is born.” Izuku chuckled. “Take what you can get while you can.”

Kirishima smiled and turned to Kaminari. “How was your patrol? Was it as hard as you thought it was going to be?”

“No, it went by without a hitch. This slowly easing back into work is the best thing. I’m not climbing walls, but I’m also not going past my limits.” The electric hero beamed. “Kayama is doing great at the agency nursery.”

Bakugou exited the bathroom and plopped down into his desk chair. “It’s good to have you back, Duracell. Without you, Racoon Eyes and Elbows come to me for entertainment.”

“That’s not going to stop, Baku. You’re pregnant. That’s the only thing that going to be on Ashido’s mind until you deliver…then she’ll be obsessed with the baby. It works when Toshi and I need a babysitter.” Denki lounged on the couch. “She’s a blessing in disguise.”

“More like thorn in my side.” Katsuki grumbled. “What’s Elbows deal then?”

“That is a mystery.” Kirishima shook his head. “I didn’t think Sero nor Tsu wanted children.”

“Liking children and wanting children are different.” Izuku pointed out.

“Just like Shitty likes being with IcyHot, but not wanting to marry the man.” Katsuki flicked his eyes over to his best friend. Eijirou furrowed his brow. “What?”

“That’s not true!”

Izuku pinched the bridge of his nose, while Kaminari hid his head in his hands. “RockHead…5 years…”

“And?”

Katsuki let his head fall and thud onto the desk. “I’m gonna have to spell it out to him, aren’t I?”

Midoriya laughed. “Kacchan, Todoroki hasn’t done anything either. He has had equal opportunity to do so.”

The fiery blonde flipped his husband the bird. “You should talk with IcyHot, Stupid Deku.”

The hybrid hero strolled into the office and set some pregnancy safe antiacids on Bakugou’s desk. “Eijirou told me that you were suffering from some heartburn. I thought these would help.”

Without any fight, Katsuki lifted his head and took the bottle, opened it, and threw back two. He saluted the youngest Todoroki. “Damn it, Deku. I miss patrols. I was reading about yours and Sparky’s train station take down…fuck!”

Midoriya glanced at Kirishima with a ‘see what I mean’ look. “It’s ok, Kacchan. There will, unfortunately, always be villains out there for you to beat the shit out of.”

“I’m losing my mind. Duracell, I don’t know how you did it.”

“Toshi will tell you one thing, but I think I put all my crime fighting energy into another hobby.” Denki shrugged. “That might be easier said than done for you since like 90% of your personality is hero work.”

Katsuki shot up out of his seat. “Wanna say that again?”

“Nope.” The electric hero said almost too quickly and headed to the bathroom.

“Where are you going?”

“Keep your angry mood swings away from me. I almost wet myself.” Denki jogged away.

Shoto blinked confused. “I don’t understand.”

“The muscles down there are still weak, Babe.” Eiji clarified.

“Why is he working if he can’t hold his bladder efficiently.”

Katsuki smacked his palm to his forehead. “I understand why they are together.” Izuku lightly chuckled. “He can hold his bladder, IcyHot. Sneezes, hard coughs, jumpscares, flinching, things of that nature can spasm the weakened muscles. He stretched a cantaloupe through a coffee straw. It takes time for things to go back to normal.”

“Oh.” Todoroki nodded. “I should be grateful that I am not a carrier.”

“Kacchan, go make some tea, please.” Izuku got up. “Might help the heart burn.”

“I’m sorry, Midobro. I didn’t realize he could flip like a switch like that. He’s only ever been chill when I’m here.”

The greenette waved him off. “I found out that he’s been taking off his hearing aids during a lot of his shifts because he was getting angry over little things he would hear.”

Kirishima was the one to blink dumbfoundedly. “But he would answer when spoken to…”

“He’s not completely deaf, Ei. Only partially. He can hear when you call out his name and can read lips.” Shoto pointed out. “That’s actually a smart way to avoid mood swings.”

“If you’re going to talk shit about me, do it while I’m in the fucking room.” Katsuki walked back in with two mugs of tea.

Midoriya took the offered mug and smiled. “I was explaining that you were taking off your hearing aids while you do your reports so you don’t get any mood swings about stupid work gossip.”

“Whatever. Get outta my face so I can finish my reports.” Katsuki grumbled.

“Can I get a kiss first?” Izuku batted his eyelashes.

“Unless you want me to hump your leg which solves nothing. Fuck off.”

&^%$#@$%^&*(&^%$%^&(*)_

“Tell me, FreezerBurn…why haven’t you just bitten the bullet and proposed to Shitty Hair?” Katsuki asked, taking a break away from his computer screen. “I mean if it’s because you don’t think he’ll say yes…you don’t have to worry. The dude includes you in all his ideas of the future.”

Shoto shrugged. “Marriage isn’t a top priority of mine. If Eijirou proposed I would say yes. I vow to spend the rest of my life with him, regardless. Also, it’s just that Kirishima has a demeanor that leans itself to carry the more masculine and male stereotypical pants of the relationship. I feel like if I proposed to him, that’s taking…his role away from him…”

Bakugou stared at him unamused. “You’re thinking too much. He thinks anything is manly. Red is the definition and tearing down gender roles.”

“I hadn’t thought about that.” The hybrid hero blinked and raised an eyebrow. “I’ll put some thought into it.”

“If you’re thinking about stereotypical roles…where do me and Deku lie?” Katsuki snorted.

Todoroki frowned. “I refuse to answer that question.”

“Chicken.”

“There is nothing cowardness about that answer. I am smart and will not spark your hormonal mood swings by putting you and Midoriya in a gender role.”

“Are you saying that because you know I won’t like your answer or because it’ll make Deku upset.”

“I plead the 5th.”

“The US constitution doesn’t apply in Japan, dumbass.”

“You will not pull answers out of me.” Todoroki shook his head and went back to his computer. He flicked his eyes to the blonde with a smirk. “I’m not the one who takes it up the ass, you know.”

Katsuki snorted. “I fucking knew it. Stupid Deku owes me!”

Mina and Uraraka walked into the office with confused looks. “What was the discovery?”

“Shitty Hair bottoms between him and IcyHot.”

The acid hero sighed and shook her head. “I swear, Bakubabe. You have become such a horn dog since getting pregnant.”

“Fuck off. The conversation didn’t start that way.” Katsuki defended.

“Bakugou is right. The beginning of our conversation was wholesome.” Shoto nodded.

Mina rolled her eyes. Uraraka shrugged. “Why are you still here, Blasty? Deku should have finished patrol by now.”

Katsuki frowned. “Stupid Deku is in the med bay after a villain used Deku as a weapon and flung him around like ragdoll into cars, buildings…it took Soy Sauce, Duracell, and Shitty Hair to restrain the fucker. Apparently, the bastards quirk was like a paralytic, which rendered Deku immobile. On top of that, the villain was hopped up on lethal doses of black market steroids.” The blonde huffed looking at his phone. “I’m finishing up Zu’s reports until MedBay calls me when he’s ready to go home.”

“You’re such a sweet husband, Bakubabe.”

The blonde’s phone buzzed. “Whatever, that’s Deku.”

“Were the recovery team able to heal all injuries?”

“Oh yeah, he’ll be fine. We were only waiting for his body to start working again.” Katsuki pulled himself from the chair. “I’m getting the car and they are going to wheel him to the front. He won’t be able to work for a couple days because the paralytic takes a while to full leave the blood stream.”

“Give him my love.” Mina smiled. “How’s the little Bakubaby?”

The blonde sighed and stopped in front of the acid hero. He placed his hands on his back. “She’s moving around. Probably cause I’ve been anxious about Stupid Deku. Go ahead, I know you’re dying to.”

There was a squeal. Mina immediately lifted the blonde shirt and felt the slowing growing middle. “Hey, baby. Auntie Ashie is super excited to see you! Be good for Daddy. Stay in here as long as possible. You have a huge family waiting for you.”

Katsuki rolled his eyes. He checked his watch. “Ok, Pinky, that’s enough. Deku is waiting for me.” Ashido placed a loud over exaggerated kiss to the explosive hero’s stomach. “Gross, Mina.”

The pink girl beamed a smiled and hugged the blonde tight. “I can’t wait to be an aunt to another hero baby!”

Bakugou patted the woman’s back. “Seriously, I gotta go. You were never this gushy to Sparky. Why me?”

“I was gushy to Denki! He just accepts my love at all hours.” Ashido pulled away. “Always know that I love you and will always be there for you.”

“I know, Ash. I wouldn’t let you touch me like you have if I didn’t feel the same.” Katsuki sighed. “Now, I need to take Izuku home.”

(*&^%$%^&(**&^%$%^&(*_)+

“You’ve gotten so big Sweetheart.” Katsuki spoke softly. “You look just like your Daddy, but with Papa’s eyes.”

Denki smirked from the couch holding a mug of coffee. “She really loves her Kacchan.”

“You better not teach her to call me that”

“C’mon, Kats. It’s a term of endearment.” Denki pouted. The fiery blonde clicked his tongue. “Please, Kacchan, tell me you don’t wanna be called Uncle Kacchan.”

“I’d rather eat my own boot.”

Shinsou walked out of the bedroom in only sweatpants and messier hair than normal. “Morning, Toshi.” Denki beamed.

He hummed and walked into the kitchen. Katsuki smirked and looked back down at the baby. “Your Daddies are so weird. How they ended up making you still confuses me.”

“Hey!”

Bakugou chuckled. “I mean c’mon, Sparky. MindFuck is hardly ever awake when you are. He works when you are asleep and vice versa. It’s easy to assume that y’all rarely fuck.”

“It’s easy to assume that you finish fast since you have such a short fuse.” Hitoshi padded into the living room again and sat down on the couch beside Kaminari, who covered his mouth while he gasped. Both men were expecting the blonde bark back a reply, but what really happened…Bakugou just looked away from them silently.

Denki whipped his head to his husband then back to Katsuki. The electric hero furrowed his brow and shot up from the couch. “Kacchan?” Silence. “Kats.” Kaminari walked over to his friend and placed his hand on Bakugou’s shoulder. “Kacchan, Toshi was just being an ass, don’t listen to him.”

Bakugou burst out in laughter. Denki took his child into his arms. Kaminari looked at his friend and noticed the tear tracks on his cheeks, but was stunned by the laughter. “I don’t know why I started crying.”

Denki raised both his eyebrows. “What?”

“It was so stupid. Everything.” Katsuki wiped his eyes and caught his breath. “Fuck. I hate these fucking hormones.”

“You really scared me, Kacchan!” Denki swatted at his friend.

“I’m gonna head home before more tears spring a leak or I burst into a fit of anger. I have no clue anymore.”

(*&^%$%^&(**&^%$%^&(*_)

Shinsou shut the front after walking the fiery blonde out. He sat down on the couch and sighed, letting his eyes fall shut. Next thing he knew the electric blonde crawled into his lap and draped his arms over Hitoshi’s shoulders. “Kayama is down for her nap.”

“Little fuss this time?”

Denki hummed as he started to run his fingers through the fine light purple hair. “Always goes out like a light when Uncle Kacchan comes to visit. He wears her out.”

“Let’s keep that in mind when she gets older and we need a babysitter.” Shinsou placed his hands on his husband’s hips. “Should we warn the others that HotHead is all over the place?”

“In a little while. I have other plans.” Kaminari bent down and kissed the mindwashing hero. They both slowly slid down to lay on the couch. “Don’t think I didn’t notice your chub as you walked into the kitchen. I want him back.”

Shinsou smirked as he lifted his head to meet Denki’s lips. The electric hero cupped the man below him’s jaw as he started to grind against Hitoshi’s cock. In a swift move, Shinsou yanked down Denki’s pants, sat up, and flopped Denki’s back on the couch, now completely folders, feet at his head. The purple haired man stuck two fingers in his mouth and then played with his husband’s fluttering hole. “I hate waking up horny only to find one of your friends here.”

Kami moaned. He reached up to play with his own nipples. “Toshi…Kacchan always drops by unannounced.”

“Stop touching yourself, Lightning Bug.” Shinsou bent down and popped Denki’s perky nipple into his mouth and began to suck…hard. Denki gasped and grabbed a handful of his husband’s hair. While he sucked his husband’s tit, he began finger fucking at the same time. He felt the tip of his fingers brushing against Kaminari’s prostate. The blonde gasped and arched his back up. Hitoshi felt a squirt of milk hit his tongue. He sped up his fingers and hummed.

“Toshi, Toshi, fuck me, fuck me, fuck me, now. I’m gonna cum, Fuck…I’m gonna cum.”

Shinsou pulled off Denki’s nipple and removed his fingers. “Gonna cum already? What’s got you for worked up?”

“Sensitive.” Denki whined gesturing toward his nipples. “So sensitive.”

“Get ready, Baby.” Shinsou grinned. He lowered his sweats just enough to pull out his cock. He spit on his hands and coated his cock and immediately plunged into his husband. “Fuck, Denks. Always just sucking my dick in.”

Denki was blissed out. When Shinsou started thrusting, the electric hero was shaken back into his real world. “Yes, yes, yes, Toshi.” Denki hummed.

To play with his husband more. He leaned down and began sucking on the other teet. Hands were back in his hair as he fucked hard and sucked harder. Milk flowed into his mouth. He swallowed graciously and moaned. He could feel the tight coil building in his lower gut.

“Fuck, Toshi, don’t stop. Oh, fuck…” Denki panted breathlessly.

He pulled off his husband’s sensitive nipple to look at the electric man. The golden blonde had one arms throw over the arm of the couch stabilizing him and the other still in Hitoshi’s hair. The purple haired man leaned forward and kissed along Denki’s jaw, before landing on his lips. Kaminari’s grip moved to pull his husband closer to him. “You taste delicious.”

Kaminari was too far gone to register what Shinsou was saying. He dug his nails into his back as he felt his orgasm gearing up. “Toshi…fuck, right there! Almost there.”

“I know, Love.” Shinsou smiled. He plunged hard and fast into the electric hero. He felt the blonde clenched down hard around him, tense, dig deeper into the flesh on his back, and toes curl. “C’Mon, Lightning Bug, I’m right there.”

With a loud desperate moan, Denki came in between his shirt and sweatpants where his cock had been trapped when Shinsou folded him like a pretzel. Shinsou unloaded inside Kaminari, but didn’t immediately pull out. He gently tugged off Denki’s sweats, then pulled out, helped the blonde sit up and strip off his shirt. “Blasty did say some truth. We need to set aside more time to spend with each other. Doesn’t have to be to fuck, but there does need to be more of that.”

“Shut the fuck up. We fuck plenty.”

Denki smirked and raised an eyebrow. “When was the last time we fucked?” He got up from the couch and collected his clothes. When Shinsou couldn’t recalled immediately. “See. Just something to think about. I’m taking a shower if you care to join.”

Chapter Text

Izuku entered the apartment and looked around. It wasn’t too late. Normally, Katsuki was in the living room watching the news or reading, but the living room was empty. “Kacchan?”

He toed off his shoes and set his bag in it’s normal spot. He padded toward the master bedroom. The door was closed but the light was on. He slowly opened the door and poked his head inside. The second he saw what Katsuki was doing in their bedroom he squeaked and shut the door again. “What the Fuck, Deku!? Get the fuck in here!”

The greenette entered this time and crossed his arms over his chest and took in the sight. The blonde was riding his biggest dildo on their bed, fully undressed and glistening in sweat, even his hair was sticking to his forehead. Bakugou was flushed and panting hard. Definitely sexually frustrated and exhausted from exertion for so long. “What’s going on in here, Kacchan?”

“I tried to call you six times. You never answered your damn phone. I’ve been horny since 10 this morning. I’ve tried everything, Stupid Deku. Nothing is working.” Katsuki growled. “Help me.”

Midoriya pulled off his shirt and walked over to the edge of the bed as he started unbuckling his belt. “My phone got destroyed and is with the support team to fix it. I’ll make everything better. Just lay back and relax.”

Bakugou visibly relax and catch his breath. Izuku stepped out of his jeans and boxers. He guided his husband to lay on his back. He reached down and slowly pulled the dildo from the blonde. Katsuki whined at the emptiness. “Damnit, Deku. There is no time for foreplay, just fuck me.”

“Breathe, Kacchan.” Izuku slid in between his husbands legs. He leaned forward and kissed the explosive hero. “There is always time for foreplay, Kitten.”

Deku took his time to stimulate every part of Katsuki’s body. He kissed along the blonde’s jaw and down his neck making sure to leave bite marks and sucking hickeys along his way. He flicked his tongue on Bakugou’s perky nipple. He used his free hand to play with the other one. “Deku…” Katsuki whined with a hitch in his voice as Midoriya rolled both his nipples between his fingers or between his teeth. “C’mon, Deku.”

Izuku reached back and hiked up the blonde leg. That was Bakugou’s cue to hook his ankles around the greenette. He reached over and grabbed the discarded lube bottle and coated his cock  generously. He pressed his tip against Katsuki’s rim. “Is this what you want, Kacchan?”

“Fuck me, fuck me, fuck me…Izu…please…”

“Easy now, Baby. I got you.” Deku smiled as he pressed in and didn’t stop until he was at the hilt. Katsuki moaned in relief. “Ready, Kacchan?”

Bakugou nodded. With that Izuku pulled out until only the head was inside then thrusted hard. Katsuki threw his head back with a gasp. Giving him no time to recoop, Izuku reeled back and plunged in against. He got into a nice rhythm and just watched Katsuki melt. “Zu, Zu, Zu, fuck, yes. This is what I needed. Fuck, fuck…”

“Come on, Kacchan. You’ve been wanting to cum for hours now. Cum for me. Cum without even touching your dick.”

“Fuck, Deku!”

Izuku didn’t stop until he had came and had milked Katsuki’s orgasm dry. This left Katsuki in a blissed out state, panting. “Happy now, Kacchan.”

“I’m hungry now.”

The greenette chuckled. “Did you eat supper?”

“Of course, I did, Stupid Deku.”

“Ok, I can go and fix you something easy.”

“No, I want tacos.”

“Well…it’s 10 at night, Kacchan.” Izuku frowned. He watched his husband pulled himself out of bed and walk on shaky legs to the bathroom. “Where are you going?”

“Cleaning up the cum dripping out of my ass then going to get tacos.” Bakugou called back as he closed the bathroom door.

Midoriya got up and padded to the bathroom door. “Kacchan, are you sure you can’t settle for some curry or stir fry?”

“When do I ever settle, Deku?” Izuku could hear shuffling around. “If you won’t go with me, that’s fine. I’m getting my damn tacos.”

The green eyed hero sighed. “Hold on. It’s gonna take you a minute to clean up. I’ll go out and find you some tacos, Kacchan.”

The bathroom door whipped open and Bakugou glared at his husband. “Are you saying I’m too weak and fragile to go out at night for food, Deku? Am I too pregnant to do anything for myself? Fuck off.” He exited the bathroom and dug around his drawers for underwear, sweats and a shirt.

“No, I’m not saying that. I’m asking to let me go out and get them for you.”

“You’re the one who just got off a 12 hour shift. I’ve been cooped up in here all day. I have more than enough energy to go out.” Bakugou declared as he stepped into his boxer briefs and sweats. “I’m not a wilting flower. I’m still a pro hero.”

Midoriya huffed. “I’m not saying that, Kacchan. Stop putting words in my mouth.”

“Stop treating me like I’m going to break when there’s shift in the wind pattern.” Katsuki stormed out of the bedroom. Izuku followed. “Stop following me.”

“Kacchan.”

“Deku.”

There was a beat of silence before Katsuki slipped on his sneakers and walked out of the apartment. Izuku blinked in confusion. Not even a couple minutes ago they were fucking and now his husband stormed out because it was late and tacos might not be sold. He reoriented himself, threw on some clothes and started cleaning up the bedroom when his phone buzzed. Izuku looked and it was Bakugou. He answered and brought it to his ear. “Kacchan?”

“I left my wallet…and keys…and fob…I can’t get into the apartment or even the building…tacos sound disgusting…you’re mad at me…”

Midoriya grabbed his keys and jogged out of the apartment. “I’m not mad at you, Kacchan. I’m not mad over you wanting Tacos.” He padded down the stairs, realizing that he completely forgone shoes. “Breathe, Kacchan, everything is ok. It’s completely fine to change your mind. Food is food.”

‘How can you not be mad at me?’

“Enough, Katsuki.” He sped across the building lobby and opened the door for his husband. He hung up and put his phone in his pocket. “Kacchan…”

The blonde was trying to hold back tears. “You’re not wearing shoes.”

“You scared me.”

“Sorry.”

“Don’t storm out like this again. If you want food late at night, that’s fine. Don’t get angry at me for asking questions.” Izuku guided the blonde into the building and to the elevator.

“These hormones are fucking with me.” Katsuki huffed as he held his back. “Why the fuck did I want Tacos after my bedtime?”

Izuku smirked. “Weird food carving aren’t just gross combos, but wanting random things at different times of day.”

“I’m talking to Battery Pack in the morning.”

(*&^%$%^&(*&^%$%^&(**&^%$%^&*(

Kirishima, Sero, Denki, and Mina tried so hard not to burst out in laughter. They were eating lunch and Katsuki forced Deku to go out and get cupcakes. The blonde stared at the dessert. “Why do I want you? I can’t remember the last time I wanted a cupcake.”

Sero cleared his throat. “What flavor did he get you?”

“Red Velvet.”

“Are you going to eat it, Bakubabe?”

Katsuki groaned. “I’m conflicted. I want it, but I shouldn’t have it.”

“What do you mean, Blasty? You’re carrying a baby. You can eat more calories.” Denki chuckled. “Eat that cupcake, man.”

“Fuck…”

“Bakubabe, it’s not that bad. Who cares if you want a cupcake for lunch.”

“No, I feel stupid…I don’t want cupcakes anymore.” Bakugou pouted, blushing a deep red in embarrassment. He clenched his jaw and got up and started walking back to their office. Kirishima got up and followed his best friend. “Leave me alone.”

“What are you craving now, Bro?” Eijirou stopped the fiery blonde.

Bakugou glared at the redhead. “I think I have embarrassed myself enough, thank you.”

The sturdy hero raised an eyebrow. “Bakugou Katsuki embarrassed over a single fucking cupcake?”

“Shut up.”

“C’mon, what do you want for lunch?”

Katsuki groaned. “Shitty Hair, I’ve already had five cupcakes before that one. It’s like I have a bottomless stomach.”

“It’s fine, bro. You’re 25 weeks pregnant. You are going to gain weight.”

Denki walked over to the pair. “What’s going on?”

“It’s nothing. I’m freaking out for no fucking reason.”

Kaminari frowned. “Eiji, I got this. Kats, wanna go to the nursery to see Kay?”

“Whatever.”

They walked inside and down to the agency nursery/daycare. “You gotta chill and let the weird cravings roll pass. I was super fucking embarrassed with my cravings, but I went with the flow cause it’s easier.”

“Your hormones weren’t through the roof. I swear I’m angry one minute, crying the next. Don’t get me started with the sex cravings.”

Denki chuckled. “I had them, Kacchan.” They stepped into the nursery and over to the babies. Denki plucked his daughter off the ground. “Hey baby girl!”

Bakugou held his back. “She acts just like you, Sparks.”

“Toshi hates every second of it. Having two me’s.”

“She’s gonna have your quirk, I can guarantee it.”

Kaminari shook his head. “She’s gonna have Toshi’s. I can feel it.”

“Thanks for cooling me down…again…”

“Hush.”

Chapter Text

Bakugou stood in the doorway of their master bathroom his arms crossed over his chest and lightly resting on his considerably large middle nearing 30 weeks. “This is why you don’t trust some of the places Shitty Hair chooses for lunch on patrols.”

Izuku lifted his head and tried his damnedest to glare at his husband. “It wasn’t sketchy. We’ve gone to that place before.”

“Yeah, Red told me where y’all went…he’s got an iron clad gut, but E.Coli travels through the joint frequently.” Katsuki huffed. “Even more to the point, you got sushi from that place. Never get anything raw with Shitty Hair.”

Izuku moaned and heaved again into the basin. “Stop talking about food.”

“Stop being a baby. Do you want me to call out for you or not?” Katsuki pulled himself away from the frame and held his back while he began swaying side to side. “You’re running out of time, Deku.”

“Fine. Don’t call out for yourself. I’ll be fine here without you.” Izuku flushed the toilet and pulled himself to his feet.

“You really are out of it, Stupid Deku. Today’s my day off. Remember? They forced me into part time now until I go on leave.” Bakugou shook his head. “Are you done puking or are you just standing up for fun?”

Midoriya groaned. “I’m not bringing anything up anymore. Would rather dry heave in bed into a trash can than be uncomfortable with my face in the toilet.”

“Try to get some sleep. I’ll make your something when you wake up.” He watched the greenette drag himself to the bed. He waddled out of the bedroom and texted Deku’s situation out. He sat down on the couch, but immediately stood up from discomfort. “Fucking Hell, stop doing this. My feet are swollen, brat.”

Katsuki began pacing around the house, cleaning up around the place as he went. After an hour, he could hear his husband retching in the bedroom. He made his way to the kitchen and started fixing Miso Soup for Deku. He wasn’t expecting the green eyed man to walk out of the bedroom and sit on the counter in the kitchen. “Smells nice.”

“Think you’re up for it?”

“If I’m going to keep throwing up, it might be better to actually bring something up.”

“I could have told you that, Deku.” Katsuki grunted, holding his back.

Even in his ill state, he could tell that the blonde was not comfortable. He frowned. “Kacchan, you don’t have to fix anything for me. I should be the one taking care of you. Go lay on the couch and rest.”

The explosive hero smirked. “Stupid Nerd, You can barely keep your head up without your hand for support. You’re nauseous and sick.”

“Kacchan, you’re obviously not…”

“I’m fine, Izu. Think about yourself for once. I’m a few days from 30 weeks pregnant. Of course I’m uncomfortable. It actually feels better to stand at the moment because she’s pushing on my spine and hips when I sit.” Katsuki grabbed two bowls. He ladled a small portion into a bowl and leaned over to set it in front of the ill stricken man. He walked around, grabbed the trash bin and slid it within ralphing distance for Deku, just in case. He made a bowl for himself and set it on the counter, and leaned forward, propping on his forearms to let his middle hang, instead of pulling him down. Midoriya forced himself to eat the entire bowl and was now regretting it. He had his forehead resting on his forearms, on the countertop. “Go ahead and get sick, Deku.”

“No. It’ll pass.” Izuku swallowed thickly.

Bakugou rolled his eyes and walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. He went to sit down on the couch again. Only to have the uncomfortableness he has earlier return. He laid on his left side and threw a pillow between his legs and one under his head. It seemed to help enough. He flicked on the TV to watch what his former classmates and friends were up to at work. He must have started drifting off, but he was startled by the sound of the bar stool crashing to the ground, a thud, and then retching. He sat up and wiped a hand down his face. “Deku?”

“I’ll clean it up.” Midoriya stammered and spat into the trash can. Bakugou pulled himself to his feet with a grunt. “Nononono, Kacchan…fuck…go back to the couch.”

Ignoring his husband’s pleas, he padded over to the ill man and scanned the scene in front of him. Vomit on the counter, down the side of the counter, in his husband’s lap, the floor, a trail leading sloppily into the trash can. The husband in question was still dangerously green and pale. Katsuki could see the puke on his hands. He stepped over and helped the greenette to his feet. Silently, he guided Deku to the bathroom and sat him down in front of the toilet. He moved to the sink and grabbed a terry cloth and turned the sink on. The water flowing drowned out the second bout of puking. Katsuki rung out the towel and crouched down beside his husband and took his hand. Once that hand was vomit free, he got up and sat down on the rim of the tub to do the same with the other. Izuku just stared at the blonde, while he panted and rested his head on the toilet seat. “Lift your head for a moment.”

Doing as he was told, Katsuki was able to wipe the drying vomit from Izuku’s face, chin and neck. With little help from Deku, he was able to pull off Deku’s shirt and threw it in the sink to get washed later. “Soup was good.”

“I know it was. You’re stupid for thinking you could stuff you face and eat the entire bowl, Dumbass.” Katsuki grumbled as he started striping Izuku’s sweatpants and boxer off. “Bath or Shower?”

“Stop caring for me, Kacchan. I’m supposed to be taking care of you.”

“Fuck right off, Deku. Bath or shower?”

Izuku lifted a finger and lurched into the basin with the last bits of lunch coming up along with stomach bile, which turned into dry heaves. “Don’t think I can stand…”

Katsuki nodded and stood up to start running the bath. He helped his husband to his feet and into the tub. “Stop the water when it’s filled enough. Think you can bathe yourself?”

“Yeah. I’ll be fine.” Izuku sunk down in the water, but shot up. “No, wait, Kacchan, don’t go cleaning up my mess.”

“Shut up, Deku.” Katsuki rolled his eyes and shut the bathroom door. He grabbed paper towels and started cleaning, starting on the counter and then working down. Once all the chunks and liquid were wiped up, Katsuki brought out soap, water, sponges, and cleaning brushes. He was on his hands and knees when Deku exited the bathroom and walked into the bedroom. He wiped up the extra water and gracelessly got up to his feet and started pulling the trash bag out of the bin. It wasn’t until he tied it off and started toward the door when Izuku stopped him. The greenette grabbed his shoulder. “What Deku?”

“Stop. You don’t need to clean up my mess while this far along. You don’t need to take out the trash after being on your hands and knees.” Izuku huffed. “I’m feeling better. I think I got all the bad out.”

Katsuki shook his head. “I’m pregnant, not immobile. An hour ago you were sick so forcefully and suddenly you collapsed out of the bar stool to reach the bucket. Let me help you, Stupid Deku. It doesn’t bother me to clean after you even this far along.”

He continued to take the trash out. When he returned he saw that Deku had finally gave in and laid down on the couch. “Sorry, Kacchan.”

“Shut up. Lift your head.” Katsuki sat down cautiously. The baby had finally moved off his spine and he relaxed. Izuku laid his head in Bakugou’s lap and lifted his arm to trace shapes into the side of Katsuki’s middle. The blonde let his head fall back and his eyes flutter shut. When he opened them again, he was on his side this time. Deku had placed a pillow between his legs the way he liked. He realized that his head was now in Izuku’s lap. He could feel Midoriya rubbing his belly, but then noticed a blanket was draped over him. He lifted his head. “How long was I out?”

“A few hours, if you fell asleep around the same time I did. I woke up and you didn’t look comfortable. I tried to wake you, but you stirred enough to get you into this position.”

“How are you feeling?” Katsuki started to sit up.

The greenette smiled. “I’m fine, now. Puked up all that poisoned me and got some rest. Should be good to work tomorrow.”

“Good, if you had gotten sick tomorrow I wouldn’t have been able to help. Sparky wanted me to come over to his place for something he won’t tell me.”

*&^%$#$%^&(**&^%$^&(*)_

“Why is everybody at Sparky’s house?” Bakugou huffed as he pulled himself out of the car.

“He never told you why he wanted you to come over right? Maybe he’s having a party.”

“And invite the most pregnant person he knows?” Katsuki held his back.

“Hitoshi wouldn’t have let him invite you if there was alcohol involved. Are you ready to go inside?”

“Whatever.” He waddled toward the door. Denki popped outside with a huge smile.

“Kacchan! You made it!”

“I told you I was gonna be here, did I not.” Bakugou barked. “Just takes me a bit longer to move around.”

Denki hopped down the stairs. “No, you are right on time.”

“Are you gonna tell why there are so many cars here?”

Kaminari opened the front door and Katsuki stepped in only for the lights to flick on to reveal all of the Baku and Deku squads, Katsuki parents and Midoriya Inko. Aizawa, Hazashi, and All Might were rounding up the group. There was a banner reading, ‘Welcome Little Hero!’

The group in unison yelled surprise while Bakugou stood in shock with wide eyes. He felt Midoriya placed his hands on his hips and rest his chin on Bakugou’s shoulder. Denki beamed a smile. Bakugou had to blink away tears and clear his throat. “What the fuck?”

“I know you said you didn’t think you wanted a baby shower. I worked some magic and got all yours and Mido’s close friends this afternoon off. They either worked this morning, work tonight, or were gifted the day off. Aizawa and Hazashi sensei obviously were gonna come, and then yours and Deku’s parents…All Might is like Deku’s Dad.” Denki rambled.

“Wow, you really did this all for me?” Katsuki flicked his eyes to the electric hero in hesitation. “How?”

Shoto raised his hand. “My father is a former Number 1 hero, as is All Might. They still have a good amount of say of when a hero can have off.”

Izuku guided Bakugou out of the doorway and the group moved and separated across the house and backyard. “Did you want to sit down, Kacchan?”

“No, She’s doing that thing again.”

“I’m sorry, Kacchan.” Izuku pouted. “Did my lifting your tummy up help any?”

“Of course it did, Stupid Deku. I’m not going to ask you to do that the entire fucking time.” Katsuki smirked. He walked into the living room. Izuku slid behind his husband and perched on the arm of the couch, pulled Katsuki in so he could lean on him and Deku could hold up the blonde swell for a little while. He watched Kirishima and Todoroki walked over to the pair talking quietly. “Shitty Hair, IcyHot.”

“I’m actually surprised Denki pulled this off and not spill the beans.” Eijirou smiled. “He actually stayed tight lipped. I don’t even think Shinsou knew much other than what was necessary.”

Katsuki snorted. “MindFuck probably knew everything.

“You were surprised, weren’t you.” Denki wrapped his arm over Shoto’s shoulder.

“I was, Battery Pack. You managed to get me.” Bakugou smirked. Izuku rested his chin on his husband’s shoulder. “I’m not sitting down and opening all the presents.”

“Do you see a table of presents?” Kaminari gestured around. “I gave strict instruction that if they wanted to see your reaction to their gift, they were going to have to risk it and give it straight to you.”

“That’s fair. The catch is I think everyone here has the guts to swarm Kacchan with gifts.” Deku chuckled. “Especially Mina.”

“She has informed me that she will be giving you her gift after everyone has left, or if you left early, the next shift y’all had ooooorrrr she’d swing by your apartment.”

Kirishima nodded, threw back the rest of his drink, and pointed. “She’s learning.”

Katsuki furrowed his brow. That made the electric hero and Izuku worry. “Kacchan? Everything ok?”

“Shut the fuck up.” Bakugou got off the OFA hero and smacked the drink out of Kirishima’s hand. The redhead thankful that he had the foresight to finish his glass. He grabbed the sturdy hero’s wrist. “What is this?”

“A ring?”

“Don’t fuck with me, Shitty Hair.” Shoto crossed his arms over his chest with a proud smirk. Kirishima blushed. “Fuck off.”

Deku and Kami hadn’t caught on yet. “Kacchan, calm down. Whatever Eiji did—”

“No, Stupid Deku, look at his fucking hand.” Bakugou pulled his best friend toward the greenette and brought the man’s hand close to Deku’s face.

He blinked a few times and like a light bulb flicked on. He shot up from the arm of the couch. “Shut up!”

“I proposed to Eijirou a few days ago.” Shoto clarified softly. “We wanted you two to be the first to know…since you have been not so subtly bringing up the topic for years.”

Out of character, but the fiery blonde pulled the sturdy hero into a hug. A second of being stunned, Kirishima rebooted and hugged his best friend back. “We have a back up gift if you needed an actual gift.”

“Fuck off, RockHead. You’re stupid. I’m going to guess that this came out of left field for you when IcyHot did it.”

Eijirou scratched the back of his neck. “Marriage just wasn’t a priority for me. I just thought that Sho would be in my life forever and I skipped over the legal part.”

“Not even their incredibly forward hints.” Denki pointed.

“Hints?”

Katsuki smacked his own forehead. “You gave Strawberry Short Cake all your braincells you weren’t using…”

“Kacchan.” Izuku playfully smacked his husband’s arm. “This was probably the best gift given to us, because we don’t need any gifts.”

“The whole fucking nursery in set up and packed, any more clothes and toys she’s gonna be spoiled fucking rotten.”

“She was already gonna be that, no matter.” Izuku smiled and kissed Katsuki’s cheek.

“I need to walk around.” Bakugou huffed.

Kirishima raised an eyebrow as the blonde waddled away. Deku chuckled. “He’s getting restless. She’s been really liking to press against his spine or sit on this one nerve in his pelvis. Sometimes he is most comfortable just walking around.”

“You didn’t have that problem, Denks?” Eijirou cocked his head to the side.

Shoto shook his head. “Not something you ask people, Eijirou.”

“This is Denki we’re talking about.”

The electric hero rolled his eyes and wandered off. Shinsou was out on the back porch. He wrapped his arms around the man. The purple haired hero turned around in Denki’s arms. “Hey, I thought you’d be doing host things for a while. What brings you out here?”

“Overwhelmed. Bakugou acted better than I hoped for, Shoto and Eijirou are finally engaged, and I actually did something right.”

Shinsou frowned. “Actually did something right? What are you talking about?”

Denki just set his forehead on his husband’s shoulder. “Don’t worry about it.”

“I have to worry about it, Lightning Bug. What makes you think you do things wrong?”

“I’ve always just been the fuck up, Toshi. You know this. I was never in charge of setting up plans or events. I was always told to show up. I couldn’t even get my own birth plan right.” Kaminari squeezed his husband tighter. “Other than marrying you, I finally did something right.”

“Shut up, Denki. That’s not true. You don’t have the brain to plan. You are a great entertainer. You keep up with the trends and have a way to talk to youth on their level. You are an ever positive light in this dark world.” Shinsou wrapped his arms around the golden blonde. “Did I mention that you are stupidly funny?”

That got Kaminari to snort. “Thanks. I love you.”

“Of course. I wouldn’t have married and had a child with you if you were a fuck up.”

(*&^%$#$%^&(**&^%$^&(*

Katsuki was standing in the living room, holding his back, and swaying side to side. Most of the crowd had left either to make it to their shift or head home to rest after their shift. “You look exhausted.” Todoroki remarked as he walked over to the blonde holding to glasses. “I brought you some water.”

“Thanks. I am exhausted. It fucking sucks. Part Time desk duty is killing me…never thought I’d ever say that.” Katsuki sighed. “I think leave is in my near future.”

“Is that a bad thing?”

“Not necessarily.”

“You have like 10 weeks left. You can use that time to rest and prepare for the baby.” Shoto shrugged.

“Congrats for finally biting the bullet.”

“It was actually what we talked about a while back. I was so caught up in wanting Ei to propose because he was the more domineering of the two of us. I also had seen all of the hints you lobbed to Kiri.”

Katsuki snorted. “So Sparky was able to hide something from me.”

“He hid it from all of us until last week. He did a good job. He really knows you and kept everything relaxed. No pressure or crowds for you, yet we were all able to celebrate.” Shoto smiled.

“He’s so eager to please everyone, that he forgets that he doesn’t have to try so hard. We aren’t going to ditch him. It’s endearing. I think he’s learning that he doesn’t have to impress us.” Bakugou turned his head and saw Denki padded toward them, pointedly as if he heard everything. That’s when he noticed the tears. “Denki…”

The electric hero pulled the explosive hero into a hug. Bakugou hugged back, but was soon pulling back. He groaned and that got Kaminari to listen. “Fuck, sorry. I’m glad you liked the party. I was super worried that even this would be too much.”

“Fuck off, Duracell. You did good. You really know your friends. Thank you for this, even if I’m not a party person.”

Denki wiped the tears from his eyes. “Sorry, I’ve been so overwhelmed today. The tears won’t stop.”

“We all know that you are the person who cries the most behind Izuku. It’s ok. You are in tune with your emotions.” Shoto smiled.

The stun gun hero took a deep breath. He cleared his throat. “Ok, thank you. I was originally coming over here to talk with you Kacchan. It looks like Deku is gonna be here for a while longer.”

“Stupid Nerd. He get wrapped up in a quirk discussion?”

“Yes…I tried to let him know that you were ready to go and I would pack everything into the car and store away the rest of the food.”

Bakugou nodded. “He’s locked in. I gotcha.”

“Would you like to lay down in the guest room? I can grab my body pillow and you can just nap.”

Katsuki tried to lift his middle to give some relief from his hips. “Honestly, that sounds amazing.”

“C’mon, I’ll get you settled.” Denki guided him to the room.

Shoto followed. Bakugou stood in the room as Denki un made the bed and turned down everything, grab extra pillows and the body pillow. Todoroki walked over and stepped behind the blonde. “What the fuck on you doing, IcyHot?”

He wrapped his arms around the fiery blonde and lifted the swollen middle. “I saw you trying to do this and thought I could help. I also saw Midoriya doing this earlier.” Bakugou moaned in relief. He instantly covered his mouth in embarrassment. “It’s ok, Bakugou. Let yourself relax. Lean on me if you need to.”

That’s promptly what Katsuki did. “I hope to God that she doesn’t make it to my due date. This is fucking brutal.”

Kaminari chuckled. “I hear you, man. Only a few more weeks. The bed is ready. Lay here as long as you want. I’ll let Deku know where you are.”

“Thanks. I gotta pee first.”

“That’s fine. Sleep Tight.”

The two watched Bakugou entered the bathroom as they walked back to the living room. Kirishima was sitting on the couch. His eyebrow flicked up and he stood. “Hey, there you are. Where did you go?”

“I was helping Bakugou. He is miserable and Deku is on a quirk analysis rabbit hole.” Shoto explained. “Kaminari is letting him rest in the guest bedroom.”

“Good, Yeah, Izuku has logged off and Deku is locked in 100%. I don’t think All Might and Aizawa were prepared.” Eijirou chuckled. “I think he started catching them up on his training of his quirk and spiraled down into every villain he has apprehended since last they spoke and their quirks.”

“Has anyone tried to drag him away?” Shoto frowned.

Denki placed his hand on Shoto’s shoulder. “Don’t worry about it, Sho. Kacchan needs the rest.”

He heard the door to their apartment open, but kept his eyes closed as he sat on the exercise ball, rolling his hips. It was the only thing to help his discomfort. “Kacchan, how are you feeling?”

He hummed.

“I see the exercise ball is helping.”

Katsuki flicked open his eyes as Izuku stepped over to the man. “I start my leave in two weeks. That was the earliest they could do.”

“Ok, you can do that. You are working part time anyway, so that’s only 6 or 7 shifts.”

“8 more fucking weeks.” Katsuki groaned.

“I know, Kacchan. You’re doing amazing. I couldn’t do what you are doing.”

“Your child has a big ass fucking head.” Bakugou huffed. “Keep pressing on my fucking back and hips. She moves around all night.”

“I’m sorry, Kacchan.” Izuku got down on his knees in front of his husband. “What can I do to help you?”

Katsuki groaned. “I don’t know. Nothing.”

“I’m sorry.”

“Stop apologizing, Deku.”

“Ok, have you had dinner?”

“No, haven’t had the energy to fix anything.”

“Have you had anything to eat today?”

“No.”

“Kacchan…”

“Don’t—” Bakugou groaned.

“Let me fix you something. Sound good?”

Bakugou hummed. “Nothing too heavy. I’m queasy as fuck.”

“Feeling ok? Do you think you’re coming down with something?”

“Maybe. I can’t tell. I feel bad all over all the time.”

“How about a bath?”

“No. I’ll never get back up. I’m fine right here.” Katsuki let his head fall. He heard the greenette get up and he almost came out of his skin when he felt Izuku touched his shoulders. He started to massage that area and down his back. “Fuck, Deku…why didn’t I think about this.”

“I don’t know why I didn’t think about this either. I’m sorry.” Izuku dug his thumbs into his husband’s lower back. “You’re back is hurting.”

“So ready for this little shit to come out.”

*&^%$%^&*(*&^%$%^&*()_

Katsuki dragged himself into the office. Both Shoto and Denki were on their feet instantly. “Oh no. You can’t work like this, Bakugou.”

“Can’t go on leave for another week and a half.” He mumbled waddling to his seat. “Move so I can sit the fuck down.”

“Todo, stay with him. I’m going to run down to Med Bay and get Pain Killer. He can force a medical leave until his actual leave starts.” Denki frowned. Kirishima jogged into the room. “Keep an eye on Kacchan.”

“10/4.” The sturdy hero nodded. He walked toward his best friend. “Doing ok, man? You don’t look too good.”

“Leave me the fuck alone, Shitty Hair. Can’t start my leave until I’m 34 weeks.” Katsuki huffed as he scooted to the edge of his chair and reached and grabbed the trash bin beside his desk. He doubled over as much as he could, then proceeded to throw up. He went through a few more bouts before he looked up. “Can one of your fuckers get me some damn water?”

Kirishima looked at his fiancé and jerked his head toward the door. “Sho’s going right now. Why did you come in if you are sick, man?”

“Didn’t think I was sick. I’ve felt bad for weeks. The nausea came out of fucking nowhere.” Katsuki panted. “I’m always hot, always sluggish, always fatigued…I wake up try to get comfortable maybe eat, piss every ten minutes, go to sleep, wash, rinse, repeat.”

“I hear ya, man. Denks is finding someone to help you. You’re definitely sick and gonna go home today.” Eijirou rubbed his friend’s back. Shoto jogged back to the pair. He crouched down. “Sho’s got you some water. Take some small sips so you don’t puke again.”

Mina rushed into the office. “Oh thank God. I saw Bakubabe enter the agency while I was finishing my patrol and I thought he was going to pass out.”

“He’s ok, Ash. My guess is he caught the flu or something on top of feeling like general shit.” Kiri explained. “Kami is heading to Med Bay.”

“I’ll call Midobabe.”

Bakugou went through a few more bouts of vomiting before Denki came back. “Ok, Kacchan. Pain Killer wants you to come on down to Med Bay to get checked out. He wants to make sure baby is ok and get you some fluids and maybe some flu meds.”

Eijirou continued to rub the blonde’s back. “Hear that, Bro? Can you make it to Med Bay? We can help you and carry a bin.”

“Fuck.” Katsuki huffed. “I think I’m fine at the moment. Let’s go.”

The sturdy hero helped him to his feet. “Want anybody to go with you?”

“I don’t care.” He held his back and started waddling toward the door. Kirishima followed the fiery blonde. Denki turned around and head back with the two. They made it to the elevator, but Katsuki walked over to the trash can and retched and brought up stomach bile. “Fuck.”

“Take your time, man. We are in no rush.” Kiri comforted the blonde again. “Denki called the elevator it should be here in a minute. We can get on it when he arrives or wait until you are absolutely ready.”

“I’m not bringing anything up, Shitty Hair.” Katsuki padded over to Kaminari. He held his back and let his head fall back. “I, now, understand why you were so pissy at the end.”

Denki chuckled. “Yeah, it was miserable, but worth every fucking second.”

“Deku keeps telling me that, but it feels better coming from someone who has been there.” Katsuki hummed. “I know Zu’s read every pregnancy or birthing book on the face of the earth and I know he’s delivered several babies…we all have. He means well.”

“It’s different. I get it.” The door opened and the three men entered the lift. “Hopefully, after Pain Killer evaluates you, you’ll be able to take a medical leave until you can start your paternity leave.”

“Thanks.” Katsuki sighed.

*&^%$#$%^&*(*&^%$%^&(*)

Izuku woke up in the early hours. It took him a second to read the numbers on his clock to know it was hours before he had to be at the agency. That’s when he noticed that Bakugou was not beside him. The master bathroom light was off. He got up and padded into the living room. He found his husband draped over the exercise ball in nothing but boxer briefs. “Kacchan?”

The blonde hummed and turned his head to the voice. “Yeah?”

“What’s going on? It’s 4am.”

“Couldn’t sleep on my back.”

“I get that, but why are you out here?”

“Didn’t wanna wake you when you have patrol in a few hours.” Katsuki mumbled only partially awake. “MindFuck helped me find a position to sleep better.”

Izuku frowned. “You called Hitoshi and didn’t wake me up.”

“Fuck, Zu. You have work. I didn’t wanna call Sparky cause he’s sleeping with Kayama. I didn’t think Mind Fuck would answer, but when he did he offered to help.”

“I’m not mad, Kacchan. I was just trying to connect the dots. Would you be more comfortable in the bedroom?”

“Go back to sleep, Zuku.” Katsuki already had his eyes closed again, just gently rocking on the ball. Izuku grabbed his phone and walked over to the couch and laid down. “The fuck you doing, Deku?”

“Sleeping on the couch to keep my husband company.” Izuku threw the couch blanket over himself.

“Stupid.”

“I love you too.” Izuku dozed for the next few hours. When his alarm went off, Katsuki was no longer there. He sat up and looked around. “Kacchan?”

“Bathroom.”

“Kacchan, should I take today off?”

“No, Deku. I actually have a little bit of energy. I actually got a couple hours of sleep.” Katsuki padded into the living room now where sweat pants and a wife beater. “Go get ready for work and let me relax in this some what comfortable state.”

“You actually got some sleep? That’s great.”

Bakugou rolled his eyes. “Yes, It was only a couple hours, but whatever. Go to work and leave me alone.”

(*&^%$#$%^&(*)(*&^%$%^&(*)-

Izuku blinked back into reality when a hand waved in front of his face. He leaned back and followed the hand to the person it was connected with. Ochaco. “You ok, Deku?”

“Honestly, my mind is reeling. Kacchan is miserable and there’s nothing I can do about it. It was so upsetting running into Med Bay when he was sick two weeks ago. This morning I woke up in the middle of the night to find him draped over our exercise ball sleeping. I know he is trying to make things easy on me, but I want to do the same.”

Uraraka nodded. “Ok, so lets break this down. What is causing Bakugou the most uncomfort or pain?”

“The baby is positioned against his spine so laying on his back is impossible, either side doesn’t work much either.” Izuku ran his fingers through his hair.

“What did you do last night when you found him on the exercise ball?”

“We talked and Kacchan wasn’t moving, so I slept on the couch.”

“Ok, how did Blasty react?”

“He called me stupid, but other than that nothing.”

The Zero Gravity hero smiled. “How was he this morning?”

“I wanted to call out, but he wouldn’t let me and said that he actually got some sleep and had some energy.”

“Deku, Bakugou found something to ease his pain and you sleeping on the couch eased his mind. He’s been so worried about make sure you aren’t burdened that he isn’t fully falling asleep. He is also close to his due date so there could be some nesting going on there.”

Izuku nodded. “You’re right.”

“Of course, I’m right. You’re too in your head about this. Now, come on, we have a patrol.”

*(&^%$%^&*()_(*&^%$^&(*)_

He was not expecting to find his husband passed out on the couch when he got home that evening. He wasn’t going to wake him. Izuku walked directly into the bedroom showered, changed and padded back out. The blonde hadn’t moved and continued to snore softly. Deku was going to fix him a simple dinner.

It was a classic stir fry, nothing special. He was almost done when he heard the blonde walking over to him. “What’re you doing?”

“Making dinner. Did you sleep well?”

“Yeah, wore myself out finishing washing all the baby clothes, folding them and putting them away, cleaned the house, did our laundry.” Katsuki listed. “I think the house is ready for the baby. Now we are just waiting on her.”

Izuku started plating the food. “You’re uncomfy sleepless night, will turn into comfy sleepless nights.”

Bakugou smirked. “I won’t have a parasite pushing around my organ and pressing on my back, pelvis, or ribs.”

“Nesting normally means you’re nearing the end.” Izuku walked both plates to the table. Katsuki slowly eased down.

“I sure hope it does. I’m ready for her to be out. She may still be premature, but at least at this point she’ll be ok.”

Midoriya nodded. “I know you’re uncomfortable and I wish I could make it go away, but I do want you to keep her in the oven until we’re closer to the due date.”

“When are Midoriya’s ever early? Bakugou’s are always right on time.” Katsuki chuckled. “I’m gearing up for another 5-ish weeks of this shit, but you never know.”

Chapter Text

With Bakugou on leave, Deku enjoyed early morning shifts so he could get home earlier to spend time with him. As always, he never knew what to expect when he entered into their apartment, even before Katsuki conceived. Whatever he was thinking was nothing close to reality. He toed off his shoes and set his things down. “Kacchan? I’m home.”

“In the kitchen.”

Izuku nodded, looking around. “Did you do more cleaning and rearranging?”

“Yeah.”

He turned the corner and immediately frowned when he saw Katsuki on his hands and knees scrubbing the tiles on the kitchen floor, with a small brush. “Kacchan, what the hell are you doing?”

“What does it look like, Deku. I’m cleaning.”

“Kacchan, you’re due in 3 weeks. You’ve been complaining about your lack of mobility for weeks. How do you think you’re gonna get up?”

“I’ll find a way, Stupid Deku. Don’t you dare put a single fucking toe on my floors. Go shower then fuck off.”

“Ok, Kacchan, have fun.” Midoriya smirked and took his time showering and washing the patrol off him. When he returned to the living space, Bakugou was laying across the couch, dead to the world. He walked over to the couch, grabbed his book he was currently reading, lifted Katsuki’s legs, sat down and laid them in his lap.

It was about an hour when the blonde woke. He hummed and lifted his head. “Why didn’t you wake me?”

“Because you are exhausted and need rest.” Izuku dogeared his page and closed the book. “Did you sleep well?”

“As well as I can with the bowling ball attached to my stomach.” Bakugou swung his legs off the greenette and made an attempt to get off the couch, but couldn’t quite get there. “Fuck.”

Deku stood and faced his husband with his arms stretched out. “Come on, Kacchan, swallow your pride this once. You and I both don’t want to clean a couch.”

Katsuki glared at the OFA hero, huffed and took the offered hands. With a swift tug the blonde was on his feet and heading to the nearest bathroom. Izuku rolled his eyes.

(*(&^%$%^&*(*&^%$^&(*)_

“You were right about the baby not coming early.” Kaminari smirked as he sat on the floor with Kayama in his lap. “Your due date is in what 4 days?”

Katsuki frowned. “3 days. I had my weekly appointment yesterday…baby hasn’t dropped, not dilated or effaced. She not in distress, not too big…just hanging out.”

“Have you considered induction?”

“Deku and I discussed that and only if he isn’t here a week after her due date.” Bakugou groaned placing a hand his side. “I am however experiencing Braxton hicks lately. I thought I couldn’t get more annoyed.”

Denki chuckled, but hid it by cooing at his daughter. It didn’t go unnoticed by the explosive blonde. He let it slide because he knew he was whining. Shinsou padded into the living room. “You staying for dinner, Bakugou?”

“Deku’s got the graveyard shift tonight and I got nowhere to be.”

“Toshi, set a plate for Kacchan.” Denki rolled his eyes. “I’m excited for Kayama to have a friend. They’ll practically be family.”

“Cousins. I think that’s what everyone has been saying. Since Shitty Hair, Raccoon eyes, and Round Face have already been calling themselves aunties and uncles around Kayama. You keep saying Uncle Kacchan without my permission…” Bakugou shrugged. “We’re family.”

Kaminari beamed. “I think that was the most heartfelt thing you have said that wasn’t aimed at Izuku.”

“Shut up, Dunce Face.” Katsuki pulled himself to his feet, successful on his own this time.

“Gotta piss?”

“No, She’s laying on my fucking back again.” Katsuki pressed his hand on his back and widened his stance for his hips to relax. “Knock it off.”

Denki smirked. “Babies don’t really listen, Kacchan.”

“Shut it.”

After dinner Katsuki made his way home. It was still evening not too late at around 8. Bakugou toes off his shoes and just paced around the apartment. Time got away from him and next thing he knew it was midnight. He was leaned over to arm of the couch let his stomach hang to try to get pressure off his back. He pulled himself off the couch arm and waddled to the bathroom to get ready for bed. He was brushing his teeth when the ache in his back returned. He leaned forward and gripped the edge of the bathroom counter as he finished up with his teeth. He pissed and headed to bed. He was awake off and on until 4am and got a solid two hours of sleep before Izuku came home from patrol.

Midoriya padded into the bedroom as Bakugou sat up. “It’s still early, Kacchan. Go back to sleep. I’m hopping in the shower then getting in the bed.”

“I’mma go into the living room.” He mumbled pulling himself out of bed. He grabbed the trustee exercise ball and draped himself over it and just rocked. Normally, this would help, but it wasn’t working this morning. He flinched when he felt cool hands on his back and press into his spine. “Thank you.”

“Did you get much sleep last night?”

“Couple hours. Mostly just tossed and turned, uncomfortable.” Katsuki hummed, letting his eyes slide shut. “How was your shift?”

“Boring. Broke up a few bar fights.”

“You need sleep.” Katsuki mumbled.

“I’m fine. I’m focusing on you right now. You don’t look well.”

“Just tired. Go rest.” Bakugou waved his husband off. Izuku silently went to the couch and laid down. He managed to drift asleep, only to wake up a few hours later to a surprising cramp. He pulled himself off the ball and looked over to the couch. Deku was passed the fuck out. First, he thought that this was just another Braxton Hicks contraction, but 10 minutes later another cramp came again. After many attempts to get up without waking Izuku he walked into the kitchen to grab some water. He walked around the apartment again, but stopping every time there was a cramp and after another hour that were more frequent and slightly stronger.

He wasn’t stupid. He knew he was in labor. He also knew that there was no need to panic or rush anywhere just yet. He wasn’t going to wake Deku when he still had tons of time before heading to the hospital.

He regretted his word less than an hour later. He was bent over the counter in the kitchen, with his forehead on his forearms, swaying his hips and biting his lip to keep from moaning too loud. Izuku wasn’t the heaviest of sleepers. Once the contraction faded he went back to fix some lunch for him and Deku. He had just finished a simple stir fry when Midoriya padded into the kitchen. Bakugou smiled. “Just in time. Lunch is almost ready.”

“How are you feeling? Did you get any sleep?”

“A little bit.”

“You still don’t look well, Kacchan. Is everything ok?”

Bakugou sighed. “I’m in labor. I probably have been since like 7-8 o’clock last night. It’s not a big deal. The contractions are just now becoming noteworthy. Water hasn’t broken. Contraction 6 minutes apartment.”

Izuku blinked. “You’re so calm…it’s eerie.”

“Shut the fuck up. Panic will only make things worse. Get some more rest, you just got off a graveyard shift.”

“You’ll tell me when thing get too much, right?”

Katsuki rolled his eyes. “Yes, Deku.”

&^%$#$%^&*()(*&^%$%^&(*)_

“Things were so easy while you were in labor, Sparky. You came into the agency at like 10 at night and had Kayama by day break.” Bakugou held his phone between his cheek and shoulder as he rolled his hips on the exercise ball. “I’ve been in labor for almost 24 hours.”

‘I got lucky. Normally, first babies take a longer time. How far apart are the contractions?’

“5 minutes? I think. Water hasn’t broken yet either.” Bakugou hummed as one started. “Yeah, yeah, five minutes.”

‘Where is Deku? Is he helping you at all?’

“I told him to fuck off and sleep off his graveyard shift. I’m fine. I don’t need Mama Bear hovering over me, especially with how long this is going. I love Deku, but I can’t handle his nervous caretaker persona.” Katsuki closed his eyes while he talked and rubbed circles into his middle.

‘You don’t have to do this alone, Bakugou.’ Denki growled. ‘Is your pride so inflated that you can’t tell your husband that your hurting?’

“The contractions aren’t that bad, Duracell. I promised Zu that I would let him know when things get too much.”

‘When will that be, Katsuki? A few hours after the baby is born?’

“Fuck off, Denki. It would be stupid to have two sleep deprived parents bringing a child into the world. I’ll be exhausted no matter what, but Deku can actually help and I want him well rested.”

‘What if your water breaks and baby is right behind? You wanna give birth in your apartment with a groggy Midoriya?’

Katsuki groaned and felt a rush of liquid seep out of him, soaking his sweats. He nodded but choked on his breath as a contraction twice as strong hit him. He coughed roughly and moaned. “Fuck.”

‘What’s going on? Bakugou? Are you ok?’ Denki panicked through the phone. ‘You gotta talk to me, man.’

“Fucking Hell, I gotta go, Spark Plug. My water just broke and turned up the contraction strength to 11.” Katsuki hung up before hearing Kaminari response. He pulled himself to his feet and grimaced at the moisture between his legs. He padded into the bedroom and flicked on the light. “Deku, wake up. Time to go.”

Izuku hummed and sat up. “Time to go?”

“Yeah, Nerd. I gotta change my pants. Go grab our go bags.”

The gears were turning in Izuku’s head, but it was like Bakugou was speaking Spanish instead of Japanese. Katsuki rolled his eyes and stripped off his pants and boxers. He threw the clothes in the hamper and cleaned off the mess on his thighs. As he stepped out of the bathroom wearing the fresh pants and boxer Izuku was still confused. That’s when the next contraction hit. The blonde inhaled sharply and leaned forward placing one hand on his knee and the other on his stomach. He let his head hang as he groaned. That’s when it clicked. “Time to—Time to go! The baby?!” Midoriya scrambled off the bed, only to fall off the bed. He shot up and grabbed sweats and a shirt. “Sorry, Kacchan, I’m so stupid.”

“Just get the bags and I’ll be out shortly.”

*&^%$#$%^&*(*&^%$%^&*()_

Izuku pulled up to the over hang of the hospital entrance. Denki and Shoto were already waiting for them. Kirishima walked out with a nurse with a wheelchair. Shoto jogged over to Deku’s door. “Go in with Bakugou. I’ll park the car.”

“I can walk my fucking to the room. My legs aren’t fucking broken.” Katsuki barked at the nurse and Kirishima.

“Please, give me a few minutes away from grumpy Kacchan.” Deku pleaded.

Shoto nodded and walked back to the group. “I just got it in case you were exhausted.”

“Of course I’m fucking exhausted, but my legs aint broken.” Katsuki growled as he waddled into the building. “Where am I going?”

Shoto placed his hand on Katsuki’s shoulder. “Endeavor paid for a private VIP suite.”

“Don’t touch me.” He brushed the hand off him. “I don’t need yours or your Daddy’s money.”

“Follow me, Bakugou.”

“Give me the damn number, IcyHot.” Katsuki scowled. Shoto was about to speak. The blonde groaned. “Lost your chance.”

Kirishima placed his hand on Bakugou’s back while he was distracted and start guiding him whilst contracting. “Call it your actual baby shower gift, Bro.”

Bakugou forced a stop and gripped the side rail along the wall with both hands. He doubled over slightly, just enough to let his forehead touch the wall. He let out a long exhale with his eyes closed. Denki pushed away the two men. “Move, you’re crowding him.” Kaminari rubbed his fellow carrier’s back through the rest of the contraction. “Whenever you’re ready we can start heading to your room.”

“Thanks.” Katsuki flicked his eyes to the electric hero. “The wheelchair still up for grabs?”

“Of course.” Denki smiled and jogged over to the one left by the door for him. He wheeled it over as Katsuki moved away from the wall. “Your ride, Ground Zero.”

“Fuck off.” He sat down with a groan. He held his head with his hand propped on the arm of the chair. They arrived in his suite after a short walk and elevator ride. Bakugou took a minute before getting out of the chair. “Where’s Deku?”

“He was parking the car.” Shoto informed.

Katsuki groaned as he got out of the chair. “He needed space away from grumpy Kacchan, right?”

“You know Midoriya better than anyone.” Todoroki nodded. “We don’t blame you for your short temper…you are in pain.”

Katsuki smirked. “Yeah, or the no sleep in days or both.” He sat down on the bed.

The doctor came into the room. “Bakugou-san, good to see you. Looks like you are going to have this baby right on your due date at this rate.”

“My luck, she’s not gonna come until tomorrow, but believe what you want.” Katsuki pushed himself further on the bed, laying above the cover for the time being. “You got about a minute before the next contraction.”

“Good, you’ve been timing them.”

“Deku’s been reading so many fucking pregnancy books, he’s a walking encyclopedia of how to give birth. Of course, I’ve been timing them.” Katsuki glared. He could already feel the contraction starting to build. “Fuck, 30 second early.”

The doctor watched as the blonde furrowed his brow and let his head fall back on the bed. Once hand reached over to the railing and gripped it while the other massaged firmly on the side of his hardening middle. “I’m impressed, Bakugou-san. You are managing the pain rather well, considering how close the contractions are getting.”

Shoto looked at his watch and frowned. “Midoriya should have made it here by now.”

“Probably got pulled aside by some fans.” Katsuki groaned. “You know how much of a people pleaser he is.”

“I think he’d been more eager to get to your room as fast as possible, ignoring any distraction. I’m going to go retrieve him.” Todoroki declared. “I’ll be back soon.”

Bakugou’s doctor slid on some gloves. “I want to get a baseline of where you’re at. Nurse are going to come in and get yours and your baby’s vital. I’m going to proceed with a cervical check.”

“No. No checks.”

“Bakugou-san, respectfully, I need to know how dilated you are.”

“Fuck off, no checks. Make me repeat myself and I’ll get a doctor that respects my wishes.” Katsuki barked. “I may be having my baby in a hospital but I’m limiting most medical interventions.”

The doctor nodded. “Alright. Your nurse should be here shortly to check vitals, let her know if you need anything. I’ll be back to check in every few hours.”

She turned and saw herself out while Midoriya and Todoroki stepped inside. “Bakugou, there are other patients in this hospital, could you refrain from shouting.”

Kaminari and Kirishima raised their eyebrows as they flicked their eyes between the two heroes. Izuku moved away from his best friend and rounded the bed to take Katsuki’s hand. “Sorry it took so longer. I bumped into Recovery Girl’s granddaughter. She’s working at this hospital now.”

“Damn right she should. Best damn ER nurse in Japan.” Katsuki turned his attention to his husband. “Still a spit fire?”

Izuku smiled. “She has to be in a trauma 1 ER. How are you feeling? You’re already yelling at your doctor, which can’t be good especially how picky you were in deciding on one.”

“Already trying to push my boundaries, fucking bitch.”

“Bakugou, please…” Todoroki sighed.

Kirishima stood up. “Sho, chill, let’s take a walk.”

Izuku turned his head to Denki with a smirked. “Did you or Eiji not warn him?” The electric hero nodded with a laugh. The OFA hero felt his husband squeeze his hand tight, turning his attention back to Katsuki. “Don’t feel like you have to hold anything in, Kacchan. Don’t listen to Shoto.”

“I’m not. They aren’t fun, but not crippling yet.”

“We all know Kacchan, anger is his go to emotion. I don’t understand why Todo is acting like that. I told him that I was louder than this when I had Kayama.” Kaminari explained. “Giving birth is fucking painful.”

(*&^%$%^&*(&^%$^&*(*&^%&*(

“Fuck…” Bakugou groaned. He had his head resting in Midoriya’s lap, who was sitting on the edge of the bed, while he sat on an exercise ball. The blonde had a vice grip on Izuku’s upper arm with one hand and a fist full of Midoriya’s shirt in the back with the other. It was late in the evening and Katsuki wasn’t progressing like he used to. He accepted a dilation check an hour ago to find that he was sitting steadily at 7 centimeters. “Fuckin Hell.”

Izuku ran his fingers through Katsuki’s hair. “Breathe, Kacchan. Catch your breath and rest your eyes.”

“She’s pressing on my spine again. I need to stand and walk around.” Bakugou hummed as he used his husband to pull himself to his feet. “Come on, you little shit, get the fuck off my back and come out here.”

Kirishima chuckled. “If he’s anything like you, bro, she ain’t gonna listen.”

“The one time I want her to act like Stupid Deku.”

“Do you really wanna be like your mom and raise a you?” Izuku quipped as he slid off the bed and stood behind the blonde and massaged his back. “You can’t deny that you were a handful growing up.”

“Not gonna let him grow up with an inflated ego.” Bakugou huffed. “No god complex…teach her teamwork, not to be the best.”

Izuku wiped his eyes. “Good luck with that. I wanna teach him dedication, determination, confidence. Just a few of his Daddy’s best qualities.”

“You better not be crying, Nerd.”

“Then don’t turn around.”

Chapter Text

It was just Katsuki, Izuku, a couple nurses and the doctor. “Keeping pushing like that, Bakugou. Deep, strong pushes.”

“I can’t push in this position anymore.” Katsuki panted from his squatted position against the couch slotted between Izuku’s legs. He was about to get up, but the next contraction bored down. He gripped anything he could as he curled in on himself and pushed. His legs were burning.

“I know you wanna move, Bakugou, but your baby is coming. You’re crowning. Your baby is coming right here.”

Katsuki clenched his jaw and groaned as he pushed again, only to shout out when he reached the widest part of the head. “Fuck you, Deku, for your stupid big head.”

“I’m sorry, Kacchan.” Izuku held in his laughter. “You’re almost there. We’re about to be Daddies.”

Three more big pushed and the tiny baby slid out. Katsuki eased himself down to the ground. He was so tired. He couldn’t stop smiling as the newborn was placed on his chest, crying their heart out. At first he thought his hearing aids chose that moment to die, but suddenly his fingers started to tingle. He was getting light headed. That’s when he noticed the change in his doctor’s expression. His arms grew tingly and numb. A nurse took the baby from him and everything moved in slow motion. He was too disoriented to read anybody’s lips.

Everything faded to black.

When he came to, he had a dull headache and very sluggish. It took a while for him to be able to open his eyes and keep them open. There was a hospital bassinet on one side of the bed, but empty. He lulled his head to the other side to see Izuku cradling their baby. His eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were stained with dried tears.

He smiled at the sight. The greenette was in his own world, in awe over the person they created. “Stop hogging our baby. I’ve barely held’em.”

Izuku flinched and yanked his head up toward Bakugou. “Kacchan, hey, you’re finally awake.”

“What happened?”

“After you pushed out the baby, you started bleeding. Before delivering the placenta, the bleeding got worse. That’s when you started to lose consciousness. More medical staff rushed in, hoisted you on a gurney and whisked you away. You tore inside your birth canal and start hemorrhaging blood. You were rushed into an emergency surgery to stitch everything up and stop the bleeding.” Midoriya spoke with shaky breath. “You lost more than 2 liters of blood.”

“Makes sense for how weak and sluggish I feel.”

“Luckily Eiji, Denki, Shoto, and I were able to donate for a transfusion. Still not completely enough to replenish the amount you lost.”

“Thanks. They were able to fix everything?”

“Yeah, but your doctor added another day to your stay here to recover.”

Bakugou nodded. “Let me hold my baby. I don’t even know their gender yet.”

Midoriya stood up and walked over to the bed. “Based on the decision we made. You picked the name if she was a girl and I picked if he was a boy. So, Kacchan, this is Kota, our son.”

Katsuki carefully took him in his arms. “I was so certain you were a girl, little man.”

“Nobody beside you, I and our medical team know his name and gender.” Izuku smiled. “Everybody is waiting in the waiting room for permission to come in. I can tell them to go home if you aren’t up to it.”

“The parents can come in. Probably worried as fuck. Shitty Hair and Duracell can come too.” Bakugou mumbled, eyes not leaving the newborn. “Not for long.”

Izuku nodded. A few minutes later Mitsuki, Masaru, and Inko walked into the room. The elder Midoriya already had tears in her eyes. “Oh my goodness.” She whispered.

“Brat, you’re not supposed to scare us like that.” Mitsuki scolded. She walked over to her son. “How are you feeling?”

“Fucking exhausted.” Katsuki turned his head up. “I’m a Dad.”

That broke the maternal Bakugou. Tears dusted her waterline. “You are. Tell us if I have a grandson or daughter.”

“This is Kota.”

Inko walked over beside Mitsuki. “Katsuki. This is wonderful. When Izuku called saying there was a complication I just thought the worst. You look so much better than I imagined.”

“I’m fine, Auntie.”

Masaru rounded to the other side by Izuku and gently scooped Kota out of Katsuki’s arms. Izuku was concerned when his husband did not fight it. Masa walked over and laid the newborn in the bassinet. “You need some rest, son. Once you have settled at home, we’ll swing by again.”

They watched their parent leave the room and Izuku turned his attention to Katsuki. “Kacchan, are you feeling ok?”

“Suddenly got really woozy and hot.” Katsuki slurred. He furrowed his brow. “Something not right.”

Midoriya frowned. “What’s not right, Kacchan?”

“Something’s wet under the sheets.” Bakugou weakly attempted to pulled the covers off. The greenette helped to see that Katsuki was bleeding again. “That doesn’t look good.”

Izuku was quickly to pressed the call button. “You’re gonna be fine, Kacchan. Denki had bleeding like this shortly after having Kayama. You’re just feeling worst because you lost a lot of blood.”

He watched Katsuki’s eyes roll in the back of his head as he went limp.

*&^%$%^&(**&^%$%^&*()_

Izuku just sat in the waiting room. His son was moved to the nursery for the time being while doctors worked on Bakugou. It was very late. “Deku?” Denki rushed over to his friend.

“H-hey? Why are you here?”

“I got a call from the hospital. They said something about you needing adequate rest and Kats would be asleep until morning.”

“Kacchan started hemorrhaging again. He lost consciousness, and they haven’t told me anything else.” Izuku was near tears. “Kota is in the nursery. I can’t leave without knowing Kacchan is ok. I can’t sleep until I know he safe.”

Denki sat down beside his friend. “Bakugou was already very weak. Any amount of bleeding could cause this. Worst case scenario is that what they used to stitch his tear failed. If that’s the case, he’ll be fine.”

“I can’t lose him, Denki.”

“You need rest, Zu. You’re running on fumes and getting emotional. The baby is in the nursery and Kacchan will be asleep for several hours. Come with me and we can get someone to set up a cot for you in Kats’ room.”

He nodded and that’s what they did. Out of pure exhaustion, Izuku managed to sleep. When he woke the sun was rising and Katsuki was in the room again, asleep. He sat up and stretched. He got up and padded into the hallway. “Good morning. How is Katsuki?”

The nurse looked up and smiled. “Good morning Midoriya-san. Bakugou-san is recovering nicely. Once he wakes up the doctor will determine if he is well enough to have the healing team completely heal him.”

“Thank you. Bakugou-Midoriya Kota, is he able to be brought to the room?”

“Of course. I’ll call down there right now.”

Izuku nodded and padded back into the room. Katsuki was stirring slightly, but drifted back. By the time a nurse brought up Kota, did Katsuki start to truly rouse awake. He hummed and slowly opened his eyes. “What the Hell happened?”

“The temporary stitches, they put in to hold until a healer could come, failed. They had to go and operate to put heavier duty ones in.”

Katsuki nodded and started to sit up but winced. “Holy fuck, I’m sore from the abs down. From the looks of it they couldn’t heal me completely in the OR.”

“No. Too much blood loss.” Izuku frowned as he raised the head of the hospital bed up. “You look better than you did when you fainted. That’s a good sign. The doctor will be coming back down in a little while to give us an estimated time frame of your recovery and discharge.”

“Who are knows about this?”

“Denki. Whoever Denki may have told, so definitely Hitoshi. Then our parents.”

Bakugou nodded. “Where the baby?”

“He’s right here sleeping.” Izuku gently rolled the bassinet over to the side of the bed. “He’s as healthy as healthy can be. Your eyes, my hair, scowls like you already.”

“As long as he’s as smart as me too.”

(*&^%$#$%^&*()(*&^%$%^&*()_

Denki marched into the room the next day with a scowl. Izuku was conked out on the couch while Bakugou nursed the newborn. “Whoa, Duracell, who pissed in your cheerios?”

“You’re not supposed to almost die.” The electric hero grumbled. “You scared the shit out of me. Mido was so stressed out they called me for him.”

“He told me. Thank you for doing that. Blame this one for tearing my insides.” Katsuki smirked. “He’s also the reason the recovery team hasn’t healed down there yet, nor moved my abs back into place.”

He crossed his arms over his chest. “Don’t do that again. I have enough of it stressing over my own childs wellbeing.”

Katsuki’s raised an eyebrow. “You don’t need to worry about me, Sparky. A 6.8 pound baby aint gonna do me in.”

“You’re still gonna be sore as Hell even if the recovery team can eliminate the bump and heal the stitches.”

“I know. I helped you through post-partum, did I?” Midoriya began to stir. “Sleeping Beauty, over here, has finally decided to join the land of the living.”

Deku sat up and stretched. “Very funny, Kacchan. Hey, Denki. Kacchan and the baby are doing great. Kacchan will be discharge tomorrow after his first healing session.”

“Fly zapper is mad cause Kota tried to split me open.”

“Stop, Kacchan.” Midoriya looked sternly. “Everything is fine. Things are scary, but they were never live threatening.”

“I’m fine now.”

Chapter 12

Notes:

Guys, I'm sorry for the lack of posting. I'm a bad author. I'm going to do better. I hope you like this longer chapter.

Chapter Text

Denki paced the living room holding his phone. It had been three weeks since Bakugou was discharged from the hospital. Both Katsuki and Izuku promised they’d call once they were settled and let them know they could come over. That had yet to happen. Shinsou walked into the room with Kayama on his hip. “Lightning Bug, stop worrying. Everything is ok. They are adjusting to parenthood. HotHead has probably been sore as fuck, and exhausted. They are probably only letting their parents in.”

“Think I should call them to check in?”

“No, just because we adjusted quick doesn’t mean everyone is that way. Everyone knows that Bakugou likes his privacy.” Hitoshi bounced the 10 month old. “Lay down on the couch and try to rest. I’m going to take Kay out for some Papa/daughter time.”

“I’m sorry, Toshi. I’m just nervous. They aren’t answering my texts. That’s not normal for Deku.” Kami huffed. “Normally, Kats just reads my texts and I can see the read receipts, but he hasn’t even seen them.”

The purple haired man nodded. “You’re a good friend, Denks. If it’ll make you feel better, call them. Don’t beg to go over, just check in.”

“Ok. I can do that. Hearing their voice will help.”

“We’ll be back in a few hours.” Hitoshi grabbed the diaper bag and walked out of the house, not before stealing a kiss from his husband.

Kaminari waited a few minutes before calling Midoriya. He thought it was going to go to voicemail with how long it rang for. ‘Hello?’

“Mido, I wanted to check in and see how you and Kacchan are holding up?”

‘Uhm, we’re ok. Different from what we were expecting, but we’re managing.’ There was the sound of shuffling and a door shutting. ‘I’m sorry. I know we promised we’d call. We’ve been scatterbrained. Kota has some jaundice, so hasn’t been the happiest, but its getting better. We just aren’t ready for visitors yet.’

“Oh, no worries, Deku. I wasn’t asking to visit. I just wanted to check in. After not hearing from you I figure you and Kats were still adjusting.”

There was a long moment of silence. Denki heard movement again, with the sounds of objects being moved. ‘I gotta go, Denks.’ He hung up a beat later.

Now the stun gun hero was even more confused. That was not a normal sounding Izuku. Yeah, he sounded tired, but he also sounded off. He shook his head. He was over thinking. They were fine. He plopped down on the couch and curled up. At least he hoped.

&^%$%^&^%$%^&*(

Deku rushed back into the bedroom to find the baby monitor in pieces on the floor. Katsuki was sitting up in bed, knees to chest, rocking, pulling at his hair. “Kacchan, Kacchan, breathe. Breathe. Let go of your hair. Everything is fine. Look at me, Kacchan.”

Bakugou just shook his head, but let go of hair and wrapped his arms around his legs. “I cant…I can’t…”

“Shhh, shhh, it’s ok. Do you wanna try to feed Kota again? I can go make some formula just in case.”

“No, no, no, he wants nothing to do with me, Izuku. I can’t hold him, I can’t feed him, he won’t latch. He just screams in my arms.” Katsuki frantically shook his head.

Izuku sat down on the bed. “Ok, can you at least try pumping again. You’re in pain. I can tell.”

Tears streamed down Bakugou’s cheeks. He frantically wiped them away. “He won’t drink it! He hates everything about me.”

“That’s not true, Kacchan. He is jaundice. He doesn’t feel good. You are also emotional and he feeds off that. I’m going to get Kota and bring him in here. Try to feed him. Take time to slow your breathing and calm down.”

Bakugou nodded and wiped his eyes, taking a shaky breath. Felt like Deku was only gone a second. Katsuki took a deep breath. “Hey, Kota. You gotta be hungry, bud.”

Both parents held their breath until the newborn latch on and actually started sucking. More tears ran down Bakugou’s face and with his free hand he covered his mouth. Izuku kissed his husband’s forehead. “His jaundice is getting better, Kacchan. He hasn’t been as fussy.”

“Who called?”

“Denki. He was just checking in on us. I didn’t tell him anything other than we are ok.”

Katsuki nodded. “I—I—I can’t be seen like this…I’m fucking pathetic. I can’t stop crying. I’m constantly flipping between hating Kota to wanting him so bad it hurts.”

Izuku reached out and wiped the tears off the blonde’s face with the pad of his thumb. “No need to explain yourself. You’re communicating with me and telling me everything. If things get any worse we will see a doctor. Kota is not even a month old. This is still Baby Blues.”

The two men fell into a comfortable silence. Once Kota was full, Izuku took him and burped him. “I’m going back to sleep.”

“Ok. When you wake up, do you wanna walk around the apartment a little bit? You’ve only gotten out of bed to use the bathroom.”

“I’m tired, Zu.”

*(&^%$%^&(**&^%$%^&*(_

“Kacchan, your mom and dad are here. Do you want to come out and see them?”

Bakugou wasn’t facing the door. “I’m tired, Izuku.”

The greenette slipped into the bedroom and shut the door. “Kacchan, I’m starting to worry.”

“Go away.”

“No. Get up. Show me that you are ok. If you don’t I’m calling the doctor.”

“Call him, Deku.”

Izuku raised his eyebrows. “Talk to me, Kacchan.”

“I’m not ok, Izuku. I need help.”

“Can Auntie Mitsuki or Uncle Masaru come in and talk to you?” The blonde stayed silent. Deku exited the bedroom and walked over to the Bakugou’s. “He’s not gonna come out.”

Mitsuki nodded and passed off Kota to her husband. “I’m going to talk to him.” She padded into the room quietly and sat down on the bed. She placed her hand on Katsuki’s hip. “Izuku tells me that you haven’t really left this bed since you were discharged from the hospital. That’s five weeks. That’s a long time. What’s going through your head?”

“You wouldn’t understand.”

“Excuse me? Out of everybody in this apartment I exclusively understand what you are going through. At first it was just emotional hormones. After a week or two, you start to get anxious and frustrated, blaming yourself every time the baby cries. Then there’s the full body fatigue, lack of motivation, sluggish, self-hatred, wishing you never had the baby, afraid you’re going to hurt the baby—” Katsuki inhaled sharply. “There it is. I had post-partum depression after having you, Suki. It’s normal.”

“Why would feeling like this be normal?”

“There are resources you can use to help overcome this. Counseling, medication, a good support system.”

“They can’t see me like this.”

“See you like what? Being human?”

“Weak.”

“You just had a baby and experienced complications during. No one is excepting you to bounce back immediately.”

“Denki did.”

“The difference between you and him is that he is extroverted and needs social interaction to feel good. You’re introverted. Don’t compare yourself to others. Your experience is unique to you. Your friends will not think less of you. I think they would love you more if you allow them to see you in a more vulnerable state.”

“I’m a horrible father and an even worse husband. Zu has been shouldering all caregiving to Kota while I’ve been here…wallowing in self-pity.” Katsuki rasped.

Mitsuki got up rounded the bed, crawled up and laid down mirroring her son. “You can’t think that way. Have you hurt Kota?” Katsuki shook his head. “Have you hurt Izu?” Another shake. “Has Izu complained and or gotten angry at you?” A third head shake. “You’re in a low place, but aren’t a bad parent or husband.”

“I would never hurt Kota or Zu.”

“I know.”

“I hate the thoughts I’ve had.”

“I know.”

“I need help.”

“Izuku will get you help. You also need someone outside of this apartment other than family to help. You’re close with the can opener guy, have him visit. What about the lightning rod guy? He seems like he really cares.”

“I’m not ready.”

“You’ll never be ready. You just have to plunge into the cold water, don’t hesitate.”

“Thanks, Mama.” Katsuki faintly smiled. “Go back to meeting your grandbaby.”

Mitsuki smirked, reached over and cupped his sons face. “In a minute. I need to make sure my baby is ok.”

“I’ll be fine.”

“You have to promise me three things. You are going to let your friends see your child and help you. You are going to get out of this bed more, even if it’s just laying on the couch. Lastly, you need fresh air. I don’t care if you just step onto the balcony for 30 seconds. I wanna see these done by habit by the next time I visit.” Mitsuki explained. “Can you do that?”

Katsuki closed his eyes, trying to hide the fear of not accomplishing those simple tasks. “I’m so tired…”

“I know, Brat. I was too and the only support I had other than your Dad was Inko and she was 7 months pregnant with an abusive sack of shit of a husband.” The eldest blonde smiled softly. “Start slow. Text one of your friends. Do a single lap around the apartment. Open a window. Do a little bit more each day.”

“And if I can’t.”

“That’s not how Bakugou’s think, Brat. Bakugou’s can do anything they set their mind too.” She sat up. “Even if it’s as trivial as opening a window.”

“Thanks.”

Mitsuki smiled and got up from the bed, and quietly placed Katsuki’s phone beside him. She turned and walked out of the bedroom and gently closed the door.

&^%$#$%^&*(*&^%$%^&*()_

Denki was working remotely on reports on the floor of the living room with Kayama locked in and giggling at the dancing fruit on the TV. His phone buzzed and he blindly reached for it. Without looking he unlocked his phone and then glanced at the screen. It about slipped out of his hands and shot across the room. It landed on the carpet and the electric hero stared in disbelief for a several minutes.

‘Fucking Hell, Duracell. Were you using my number as a fucking notepad for your random ass thoughts?’

“KACCHAN! You’re alive!”

‘Fuck off. I just took time away from my phone, Dunce Face. I’m alright.’

“Baku, it’s been 6 weeks since Kota was born and radio silence. I have a right to be concerned.”

‘Rights, my ass. Nobody but Deku’s mom and my parents have met him.’

“You’re the godfather of my daughter. You’re not supposed to die before me. That was my thought for weeks.”

‘You’re stupid. Deku would be a wreck if I had died.’

“When can we meet the little man? When can we see you and Deku?”

‘Are you busy?’

“I was working remotely today. I can log off and be free. Care if Kay joins?” There was a few minutes of silence on Katsuki’s end. Denki shut his laptop and threw it up onto the couch. He crawled over and scooped up the 1 year old. “Baby girl, We’re gonna visit Uncle Kacchan. Lets go pack up your diapee bag.”

His phone buzzed again. ‘You can’t judge…’

Kaminari frowned, setting Kayama on the changing table. Text wasn’t going to work anymore. He went into Katsuki’s contact and called him and put him on speaker. He rang and rang and rang. He knew the explosive hero was holding his phone. He was preparing to redial, when the line connected. “What the Hell would I judge you on?”

‘I-I—I…fuck…I’m not in the best shape…’

“Oh come on. My body hurt for at least the first two months after Kayama. They don’t tell you about the blood afterward, the burning, basically wearing diapers. I couldn’t do any ab work outs for weeks.”

‘It’s more than that…Denki.’ Bakugou sounded off. There was no fire behind his voice.

“Well yeah, you had complications, Kacchan. I can give you the exercise regimen I used to get me back into crime fighting shape.”

‘Denki…’ Bakugou paused. Kaminari finished changing his daughter and began packing the diaper bag. ‘I have been struggling mentally.’

The electric hero froze. That’s not right. Bakugou is the most mentally stable person he knows. He had a rough pregnancy, he couldn’t have also had a been experiencing post-partum too. “Oh…”

‘Don’t make it a big deal…’

“I would love to meet Kota. Kay and Ko already sounds like an amazing sitcom.”

‘I’m serious.’

“So am I. I can drop Kayama off at Aizawa’s house and come alone. I can be the big spoon and I can just listen.”

‘I should have called Shitty Hair.’

“No! No!” Denki panicked. “I’ll take Kayama to her Granddad’s house and rush over. I don’t even have to meet Kota.”

‘Whatever.’

(*&^%$%^&(*)_(*&^%$^&*(

Denki knocked on the door and waited. He was biting his thumb nail. Izuku opened the door holding the newborn. He smiled softly, with bags under his eyes. “Hey Denki. Thanks for coming.”

“6 weeks of radio silence, I dropped everything.”

“It’s been a hard adjustment. Kacchan is on couch.” Izuku hummed. “His mom at least got him out of bed.”

“Oh.” Denki frowned. “Have you been getting enough sleep?”

“No. I don’t care right now. I can handle things as long as Kacchan is healing.” Midoriya smiled as he guided Denki into the apartment. The blonde was laying on his side covered with a blanket. The TV was off. As Denki got closer he noticed that Katsuki was asleep. Izuku noticed too. “Since he is asleep at the moment, would you like to meet Kota?”

“Sure.”

Midoriya nodded and handed over the new born. “The jaundice is finally gone. He’s much less fussy. I’ve been able to get a couple hours of sleep.”

Denki rocked the baby. “Do you want to go lay down and take a nap while I’m here?”

Izuku immediately had tears in his eyes. “You won’t mind?”

“Go ahead. I got him. I’ll hang out on the couch with Kats.”

“Thank you.” Izuku looked so relieved. “I’ll set an alarm for an hour.”

“No, no, just go sleep. No alarm. I’ll stay for however long you need me.” Kaminari frowned. “Don’t think you have to shoulder this alone.”

The OFA hero nodded and wiped his eyes. He shuffled to the bedroom and lightly shut the door. The electric hero looked down at the newborn who had a facial expression identical to Katsuki with curly green fuzz on his head and explosively red eyes looking up at him. He padded over to the couch and carefully sat down to not wake the sleeping form. He scrolled through his phone while the baby snoozed in his arms. After about an hour, the explosive hero stirred. He sat up and looked around. He noticed Kaminari. “Hey.”

“How was your nap?”

“Don’t understand how I can be so exhausted after doing nothing.” Katsuki wiped a hand down his face. His eyes flicked to his son. “Where’s Deku?” He almost sounded panicked.

“He is napping in the bedroom. I offered to watch Kota until then.”

Katsuki nodded. “Fuck, I’m so fucking selfish.”

“No, you are dealing with your own battles.” Denki frowned. “I think Kota might be hungry. Have you been feeding him or has he been formula fed?”

“Mix of both, kinda.” Katsuki hummed. “Fuck, am I a bad carrier for not solely breastfeeding him?”

Denki could see tears dusting his friends eyes. “No, no, you’re not. If you can’t feed him, you can’t and we are lucky to have alternatives.” Katsuki tucked his hands under his arms and winced. It dawned on Kaminari that he might not be pumping like he should and could be clogged in some areas and in a lot of pain. “Kacchan, you need to pump even if you aren’t feeding him regularly.”

Bakugou looked up at the ceiling. “I—I—”

“Here, let me help. Where is your pump?”

“I—I--…don’t know.” Katsuki whispered, not looking at the electric man. “I don’t know where anything is, anymore.”

“That’s ok. Mind if I look around?” Katsuki laid back down and covered his face with the blanket in an attempt to muffle his cries. It tugged at Denki’s heart strings. He got up and walked into the nursery Katsuki worked so hard on. He padded around the room and saw the pump neatly set up by the rocking chair, looking like it’s collecting dust. He unhooked it and brought it into the living room. Bakugou was trying to calm himself down. Denki sat down beside Katsuki. “Pull up your shirt. It’s easier with a button down.”

“Kay.” Katsuki whimpered. He just simply tugged off his shirt.

Kaminari could see where there were clogged areas. “Take Kota and get him to latch on.” Bakugou stayed quiet. He robotically took his son and attempted to get Kota to latch on. It took a few tries, but he started to feed. “Good, now I’m going to help you attach this to the other side.”

Denki could see the relief on his friend’s face. The fiery blonde covered his mouth and closed his eyes. “I know what I should do…I know how to do it…why has it been so fucking hard?”

“You’re exhausted.”

“You did it flawlessly.”

He blinked in surprise. “Huh?” He was confused. Denki was at his most unhinged post-partum. He raised an eyebrow. “What are you talking about? I was a wreck?”

“Fuck off, you were smiling, laughing, up and moving a week after Kayama was born.” Katsuki choked out. “I got home from the hospital and couldn’t will myself out of bed.”

He understood now. “I couldn’t sit still. Where you couldn’t get out of bed and slept the days away…I couldn’t go to bed. My mind was always racing. Every scenario that could go wrong. If I kept moving, the bad thoughts couldn’t get me. Only took a few days before I hit a wall and had a bad seizure. Hitoshi put his foot down. He took me to the doctor, I got prescribe anti anxiety meds and sleep aids.”

Katsuki wiped his eyes. “I need help.”

“We’ll get you help. I’ll set up an appointment with my doc that helped me. Thank you for telling me.” Denki smiled. “You’re feeling better pumping, right?”

“I’ve been so numb, didn’t feel the pain until I felt the relief.” Katsuki whispered.

“Kota is going to be a carbon copy of you.”

“He has green fucking hair, Dipshit.” Katsuki sniffed.

“Look at those eyes and that face. That’s you to a tee.”

“Thanks.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

Chapter Text

“I said no, Deku.”

Izuku sighed. “Its just dinner with Eijirou, Shoto, Denki and Hitoshi. It’s even at Kirishima and Todoroki’s house. You agreed that it was time for Eiji and Sho to meet Kota.”

Bakugou tried to fire off explosions, but the quirk suppressing cuff dawned on his wrists prevented that. That seemed to only fuel his anger. He clenched his jaw and sunk down to the floor of beside the bed, grabbing fists full of hair. “Take him.”

“Kacchan…”

“Go without me.” Katsuki growled. “Take him and leave.”

“No.”

“Shitty Hair and IcyHot need to meet Kota. Go! Leave! Fuck off!” Bakugou didn’t look at his husband, hell, he didn’t even open his eyes. Izuku silently round the bed and got down on the floor in front of the blonde. He reached and touched Katsuki’s wrist, only to get a Karate chop to the face from one hand and a closed fist punch to the face with the other. He fell back on his ass, orienting himself and blinking in shock. By the time he got himself together, which was only a few seconds, Bakugou was already spiraling. “Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuckfuck…nononnononono….”

Midoriya got up on his knees again and grabbed the blonde’s wrist firmly. “Kacchan.” Bakugou refused to open his eyes. He kept shaking his head, no, while he mumbled self-deprecating words to himself. The greenette in one swift move forced both Bakugou’s knees down, hopped into his husband’s lap and held the blonde’s face firmly. “Katsuki, listen to me.”

Bakugou opened his eyes panicked at his given name being said from his husband. He held Izuku’s wrist, like a lifeline. “Zu…”

“Shhh, you’re ok. You’re not alone. We’ve been sitting out on the balcony, and walking the halls of the apartment for two weeks now. We can hop in the car and slip into Eiji’s house. If you absolutely 100% can’t go…we can reschedule, but only if you are 100% sure. 99% sure won’t cut it. Kirishima has been blowing up my phone for updates on you. Even Shoto is texting more than normal.”

“Zu…I’m…I look…”

“You’ve lost all the baby weight naturally and then some, Kacchan. You’ve not been eating enough and laying all day in bed doesn’t help. You are quite literally weak at the moment. Eijirou is like a brother to you. Family helps family.”

Katsuki blinked away tears. “I don’t…fuck…they can’t see me…”

“See you like what? A new parent? A human? A person going through a hard time? A carrier recovering?”

“Deku…”

“Kacchan…I know it’s the post-partum talking…we’ve been trying to work through it naturally, but I think it’s time for us to look into other options.”

“No, no, I don’t need them. I have been going to those fucking therapy sessions you and Denki recommended. No. Not yet.” Katsuki shook his head. “It’s too big of a step, Izu.”

Izuku placed a kiss to his husband’s forehead. “Plus Ultra?”

Bakugou closed his eyes. “Fuck…”

“You can do this, Kacchan. You let me explain things to Ei and Shoto. You can take your time getting out of the car and in the house. Denki suggested that if you feel overwhelmed or on the verge of a breakdown that you could slip into the guest bedroom or bathroom. Eiji and Todo are 100% ok with that plan. Anything to make you comfortable.”

“I don’t need to be babied, Deku.” Katsuki tried to push his husband off him. Izuku stood firm. “Get off me.”

Midoriya stared at the blonde for a few moments, before sighing, crawling off him, standing up and walking off without another word. Katsuki just sat there even when he heard the bedroom door gently shut. He brought his knees to his chest again and wrapped his arms around them tightly. He buried his face in the empty space, with his forehead on his knees. He went through many different surges of emotions, first panic, depression, anger, guilt, self hatred…regret…he had no clue how long he sat there. He body screamed in agony of the awkward position held for so long. He was numb. He slowly sunk down to the ground on his side, staring at the blank wall across from him. He doesn’t remember slipping into a dreamless sleep.

He woke up confused. He wasn’t on the floor anymore. He was in bed. He wasn’t wearing the clothes he had previously had on. He looked around and he was alone in the bedroom. Glancing at the clock, it was just breaking dawn. He pulled himself out of bed, groaning at his sore muscles. There was a hint of panic settling lower in his gut that Izuku went to the dinner, came home, found him on the floor, cleaned him up, put him in bed and left to stay with Inko with Kota.

The thought was immediately squashed when he opened the bedroom door to see Deku asleep on the couch, holding the baby monitor. He breathed a sigh of relief, but again guilt burned in his chest. He padded over to the nursery and gently opened the door. When he entered, he heard the infant babbling to himself. He peered into the crib to see big red eye staring back at him. “hey, little guy. Good Morning. Papa normally feeds you breakfast at this time, right?”

He carefully scooped the two month old into his arms and walked over to the rocking chair. He awkwardly unbuttoned his sleep shirt and brought Kota to his chest. He latched on eagerly. He grabbed the pump or his other side. As the infant fed, Katsuki couldn’t help but stare at the little human him and Izuku created. Why did this perfect soul…cause him so much distress? He removed everything once Kota was finished eating and burped him like Denki and Izuku had shown him a couple times before. A sense of pride fell over him when the tiny thing belched, even if it brought up gross spit up over his hand.

There was a light tap on the nursery door. The blonde flicked his eyes up to the noise to see Izuku propped against the frame with a soft smile. “How was the dinner?” Katsuki rasped softly.

“I rescheduled with them. You were too far gone to make you give any sort of logical answer or decision.”

“Oh.”

“I took Kota on a little walk to clear our brains. When we got back I fed him, changed him, and put him down for the night. I went to check out you but you had crashed. I picked you up laid you on the bed and changed you into more comfortable sleeping clothes. I went into the living room to give you some space and fell asleep.”

“I’m so stupid. I’m selfish, egotistical, self-centered, and a pain. You don’t deserve to raise our child like a single parent while I’m sulking on the bed.”

“You have been having so many emotions running through your brain…you are thinking of everything but yourself, Kacchan. I think we should consider medical interventions.”

Katsuki closed his eyes, shaking his head. “I don’t need them…”

“You need more than these therapy sessions, Kacchan. You couldn’t even go see your best friend last night. You will only let our parents and Denki into the apartment. Something needs to change.”

The blonde flicked his eye open to his husband. “Zu, I can’t…”

“Why? Because admitting your unwell is forbidden? Kacchan, I’m worried about you. The plan was for me to take a month off work then go back while you took at least 4 months off so Kota could be old enough to be taken to the agency daycare.” Izuku padded over and knelt down in front of the blonde. “It’s been over two months, Kacchan. I haven’t gone back to work. There is no way you’ll be ready to go back to work in less than 2 months.”

“A little bit longer…”

“No, Kacchan, I talked with Denki last night and he is going to make an appointment with his doctor for you. He will be texting me the details.” Izuku put his foot down. “I said this last night. We’re done doing things your way, Kacchan. It’s not helping you.”

&^%$#@$%^&(*)_(*&^%$%^&*()_

“No, no, no, no, Deku, I can’t leave…not when…fuck, no!” Katsuki paced the bedroom with his hand grabbing fists full of hair. “I haven’t…I look…No!”

Izuku silently held his husband. Inko was in the living room with Kota. He held Kacchan until he grew quiet. “You’re almost dressed, Kacchan.”

Katsuki wiped his eyes and pulled on a loose sweatshirt and old sweat pants. Izuku sat him down on the bed and pulled socks and shoes on for the blonde. They both stood up, facing each other. Izuku held Katsuki’s hands. “Deku…”

“Shhhh, Come on, Kacchan. I’m right here. Mama has Kota. She going to be tagging along with us to the appointment. It’s a short walk to the clinic.” Midoriya didn’t give Bakugou a chance to process anything before grabbing his keys and two pair of sunglasses for the heroes. He guided his husband out in the hallway and didn’t even bother taking the elevator and forced him down the stairs. Inko met up with them, preferring the elevator. She joined back up with them with Izuku slipping the shades over his and Katsuki’s tired eyes.

Katsuki held his husband’s hand for dear life. It was a short ten minute walk and they entered the small family business clinic. Deku guided Katsuki to the window. The nurse smiled as she noticed them. “Bakugou-san?”

“Y-yes…”

“Lou-san will be out in just a minute.”

Katsuki walked over to his mother in law. She had pulled her grandson out of the carrier and rocked him gently. Bakugou pulled off his sunglasses and hung them on the collar on his shirt. He smiled softly at his son cooing softly up at Inko. He flinched when the door opened. “Good morning, Bakugou-san and Midoriya-san.”

“Hello Lou-san. Thank you for squeezing Kacchan in.”

Katsuki turned his attention to the recommended doctor. He was not expecting a foreigner. Especially a foreigner that spoke fluent Japanese. He must have been making some kind of face. “My wife has a translation quirk. She has used her quirk on me to be able to understand and speak any language in the location I live, thus Japanese. Don’t worry. I get those looks all the time. Kaminari-san is a very charming man. When he called explaining your situation I couldn’t say no.”

“My situation?”

“Would you like me to outrightly say your severe post-partum depression, Bakugou-san? Kaminari-san explained that you were a very opinionated individual.”

“Whatever.” Katsuki shoved his hands in his pockets. “Lets get this over with.”

The Dr. Lou guided the family back into a cozy office. “Bakugou, tell me about your newborn.”

“The fuck? Why?”

“Kacchan, I told you that you just need to answer his questions. That would be the fastest way to get better and back home.” Izuku scolded.

“It’s quite alright, Midoriya-san. My quirk takes all the information you are willing to give me and the emotions behind them to give you a proper diagnosis and appropriate medication and treatment. The catch is that you have to answer yourself and 100% honestly.”

Bakugou huffed and closed his eyes. “Fuck, fine, His name is Kota. He’s almost 10 weeks old. It was a long boring labor that ended with me tearing further up in the birth canal and losing a lot of blood. Nothing serious. Slowed the recovery by a week.”

“How long after you were discharged did you start feeling down?” Katsuki blinked. He stayed silent for a few beats. He was racking his brain, gears turning… “It’s ok if you don’t have an answer. When did you notice that you didn’t feel the same?”

More silence. He looked down in his lap. He cleared his throat. Inko rose to her feet. “I’m going to step outside. Suki, I understand if this isn’t something you want me to hear.”

There was still silence once the door shut after Inko’s exit. “Whenever you’re ready, Bakugou-san. We are in no rush.”

“I don’t know…immediately…waking up after delivery…” Katsuki’s voice cracked. “Deku and Denki told me about the hormones goings haywire the first week or two after delivery, so I chalked it up to that and played it off…but then everything was so overwhelming. Kota had jaundice. I couldn’t be heal right away, so I was hurting longer that planned. I was tired…”

“I was told that you thought you were getting better for a little while?”

Katsuki did not look up from his lap. He cleared his throat. “My parents came after a few weeks. My mom talked to me and gave me some advice. It helped at first…then it became hard and Izuku was forcing me to do everything, when I just wanted to sleep.”

Deku rubbed Katsuki’s back soothingly. The blonde broke down and doubled over. “Take your time, Bakugou.” Dr. Lou spoke calmly. “You’ve done very well so far.”

“I’ve never felt like this. I don’t feel this way. I don’t fail at things.” Bakugou choked out. “I’m—I’m a failure.”

“Why do you think that, Bakugou?”

That sentence cut through Katsuki’s core. The sobs that overtook him were strong, heart wrenching, uncontrollable, unstoppable, raw. Izuku couldn’t speak. He wanted to console his husband. His body wouldn’t let him intervene. Kota looks unaffected by his father’s outburst. In the only way he thought he could comfort Bakugou more, he reach out and placed his hand on the blonde’s knee. He could feel his husband trembling. It felt like an eternity before he calmed down and slowly sat up. Katsuki took Deku’s hand and held it tight. He focused on calming his breathing, continuing to stare at his lap. “I can’t care for my son…I can’t be a father…I fucked that up.”

“How have you fucked that up, Katsuki?”

Bakugou flicked his eyes up at the doctor when he heard his given name being said. “What?”

“Kota looks like a healthy, happy, uninjured, well fed, normal baby. Actually one of the more low maintenance infants. He hasn’t cried once since we’ve been here. I don’t see a fuck up, failure or failed father. I see a man who is in pain and can’t pick himself back up. I see a post-partum carrier whose hormone levels didn’t even out right and threw everything off. A chemical imbalance. That is treatable.” Dr. Lou smiled. Katsuki hiccupped and stared at the man in disbelief. “Yes, Katsuki. I can get you medication to get you feeling yourself again. It will take time and will also require you to continue the therapy you are currently attending. Your prescription is not the same as Kaminari’s. His post-partum was different from yours.”

Relieve washed over Bakugou. Even though this was the exact thing that Midoriya and Kaminari had been telling him for weeks, he didn’t believe it until this moment. He wiped the tears from his face. “Anything to feel normal again.”

*(^&%$%^&*(*&^%$%^&(*_){

Denki walked around the living room of Kirishima’s apartment with Kayama on his hip. He kept looking at his watch. Shoto padded into the room from the kitchen. “Denki, stop pacing. Izuku texted me a few minutes ago saying they were on the way.”

“It’s been almost a month since Kats saw Dr. Lou…he’s been tight lipped and I have only been texting with him.” Denki frowned. “What if Izuku only meant him and Kota were on the way and Kacchan is still at home. What if the only reason Izuku said that was because he wasn’t going to flake on you and Kiri again?”

There was a knock on the door. Eijirou was like lightning to be the one to answer. He opened the door with a huge smile. “Bakubro!”

“Hey Shitty Hair.” Katsuki answered with a soft smile. “Thanks for your patience.”

The three entered the home and into the living room. Kirishima beamed another smile. “No, we work on your timeline. I want to see little Kota.”

Izuku set down the carrier and unfastened the three month old. “This is Baby Bakugou-Midoriya Kota.”

Eijirou gently scooped him up and cradled him like a pro. Katsuki’s eyebrows raised, Eijirou noticed. “I’ve been practicing and researching. I need to be the best uncle.”

Denki set his 11 month old on the ground and ran over to the explosive hero and yanked him into a full bear hug. Katsuki accepted the hug. “Hey Duracell.”

“Thank Fuck. You look so much better than you did the last time I saw you. You sound better, your aura feels better. You’re not stressed, anxious, or overwhelmed.” Denki was close to tears, squeezing him tighter with every word. “You’re not the one who can break down. You had me so scared.”

Katsuki didn’t fight Denki. He actually leaned into the hug and buried his face and breathed in the familiar scent he hadn’t smelt in months. It grounded him. Security. “I’m sorry. I was scared too. Thank you for everything.” He whispered so only the electric hero could hear.

Denki pulled away and cupped Bakugou’s face. “Yama has missed you so much.”

“Let me see my favorite niece.”
