Inspired by this tumblr post made by my mutual :D

Kenmac is my favorite mk ship but there's no one currently making anything about them so I decided to step up

Raiden was canonically 7 feet tall as a god and I thought it would be funny if they kept him that way when they turned him human.

I made this in under twenty minutes

Two of these are a lot better than the others :')

I'm also working on writing a couple of fics so look out for that.

Drawing reference for my new mk oc Gento Hitora (源杜 火虎)! He's a background character I made to flesh out Kenshi's time in the yakuza but after Kenshi leaves and declares war on them he becomes his man on the inside. I imagine he'd be a kameo fighter if he was real.
I am just now realizing his first name is probably too close to Sento but the sunk cost fallacy has already kicked in and I'm not changing it.

Edit: I changed his name to Gentaro (原太郎) bc it was too close to Sento and it was bothering me (ironic 😔)

I wonder how often Liu Kang has deja vu...

I started taking art requests on Tumblr here's what I made on the first day!

More Tumblr requests. I wanted to do at least two a day but apparently that's impossible for my slow ass 😭
Also (maybe it's just me but) I think Cassie's top looks a bit weird? Like I drew her with big boobs and then added the tank top but it doesn't hug her chest the same way it hugs her stomach and it's bothering me bc it's making my anatomy look weird 😭

I've realized that the majority of the ships on this work are with Kenshi... that probably says something about me

This man is so hard for me to draw 😭😭 I'd draw him more often if he was easier but I'm getting there with practice 😔

It feels weird adding shadows to my art I do it so rarely- I do like this but I did struggle a little bit :') Would you believe me if I said Kenshi's tattoos took less time than Takeda's shoes 🤔

I've been drawing on magma a lot so here's some more doodles! I actually drew a lot of Raiden on this canvas but I didn't want to edit anymore
I also went back to my roots and drew the Suchin portrait in the second one with my finger 😫 the naked Suchin in the second one was the sketch of the first one- I didn't want to erase the anatomy ◉_◉

I'm still working on getting Suchin's combat design down for my au but I'm getting there! I'm pretty much set on the shoulder gear and collar but that's about it 😔

I don't think fem Kenshi would look or act that differently from male Kenshi and I headcanon that she would have short hair during her time in the yakuza and this is set during that period so here she is!

I would've finished this a while ago but I got carried away with the snap shots- also don't let me draw that small ever again I kept trying to add details and couldn't. I figured it out... eventually...
I did backgrounds for the first time in forever and I'm happy with it despite all the struggle (tiny drawing when I catch you-) I'm going to try to add more backgrounds to my art from now on but don't quote me on that

Also also- this is the first time I've ever filled out a ship chart! Weirdly enough I wasn't a shipper before I got into mk and kensuchin is my first ever otp I don't know what they did to me but it rewired my brain chemistry

It was based off a Christmas prompt along the lines of "you accidently left cookies out on Christmas eve and they were gone in the morning but you live alone" and well, Suchin has a breaking and entering problem. Kenshi gets used to it eventually :))

I really need to make a design for Kenshi's tattoos and a ref sheet for Suchin

I was super motivated to draw this got it done in like two days which is a tiny amount compared to my other full pieces
I was also drawing this one my 6am breakfast and tortilla chips until like 5:30pm because my sister decided to reorganize the kitchen around the time I eat lunch and then made food right after that hours long endeavor I did get my 10-minute boxed pasta eventually and I am alive and about to go get ready for bed

ALSO THERES BEEN SO MUCH LOVE FOR KENSUCHIN/SUCHIN ON TWITTER LATELY AND IM LOVING IT I'm so happy they're getting so much love it makes me emotional. God it's making me really motivated to actually write my au fic hopefully I can get that done sooner rather than later and you guys won't have to wait too long <3 just thank you all for the support my life's been roughly lately and it means so much

Anywayyyyyy happy new year!!!! My new year's resolution is to finish my kensuchin au fic! I've been working on it- not as much as I'd like but I did make some au designs for them, a design for Caro (y'all remember them right??? we got Orin in khaos reigns but Caro was nowhere to be seen 😔 didn't even get mentioned), and discovered Hsu Hao is really fun and easy to draw :)
I was also put on adhd meds so hopefully that helps me sit down and work on it more instead of rotting in my spare time. Also have been enjoying rewatching the og timeline and taking notes

ALSO! I made a strawpage if you want to send me something :) I'll be replying to them on twitter

Drew this like 3 days ago because I wanted to draw boobs and had a good reference saved (the reference- it's a twitter link)

I'm really happy with it! I was messing around with different brushes and love the overall look so I'll definitely be using them in the future. Love it in general. It's not even the fact she's nearly naked it's the pose, hair, and face. Just the general feel I get from it- I need to draw her looking moody more. Also doing a small background? It's not a lot but I can feel my art improving and it's such a good feeling

My adhd medication was also increased so that might have something to do with it but this is the best I've been mentally in years and I think it shows in the way I'm talking about my art and what I want to do next. I'm still working on writing my au- I haven't made much progress because I've been doing other things as of late but I'm getting back on it!

I take joke drawings very seriously. Okay honestly I was on call with a friend last night and we lost the plot badly and this whole thing started with an off hand comment about blonde Johnny which evolved into Kenshi being lost at sea then this. I stayed up two hours past my bedtime to draw this and it was worth it I had a ton of fun
They also drew their own (more serious) Kenshi x Kenshi art go check them out!

Suchin and Johnny's dynamic is so funny to me it's a one-sided friendship where Suchin thinks he's annoying (pot meet kettle) and is jealous of how close he is to Kenshi while Johnny's like "oh yeah Suchin's cool I like her :D"
Suchin's code name in my au is Blackbird so Johnny's train of thought is Blackbird -> Black + Bird -> B + B -> Double B
Something funny about that is some people thought Johnny was talking about her cup size when I made a tweet about it and I didn't correct them because that's funny as hell so I'm running with the idea of Johnny purposefully mangling her code name and Suchin being under the impression he's talking about her cup size

This is kinda old CFA style... ah a simple drawing with some dialogue made in less than a day how I've missed you...

These ones are wayyy better imo but since this is my mortal kombat art archive I didn't cut the previous ones.

I've been trying to experiment and study more with my art while also generally being more productive and less perfectionist. Which has been hard. To say the least 😩 BUT! Some trying is better than no trying so there's that!

Also woah me drawing Johnny and it actually looking good crazy. He's genuinely a pain for me to draw so I'm actually surprised hsgfjhhg maybe the thing to break the curse was making it og/alt timeline......

His fashion sense is in the NEGATIVES.
Okay, I'm going to subject y'all to my 99% of Kenshi's outfits are questionable at best and ass at worst rant. I've already subjected too many of my friends to it (you know who you are thank you for letting me repeat the same nonsense for the 832576927402 time) I need to real myself in.

ANYWAY not much going on with me. Been posting more doodles on twitter and tiktok stories and getting into text posting on tumblr again. I do need to get better at responding though... if I don't have a response idea right away I say I'll come back to it later and then forget and by that point I feel awkward responding so late. Also been working on au stuff!! That's been fun and research for worldbuilding led me to drawing Kenshi interacting with real world historical figure Taira no Kiyomori which. Didn't think I'd ever be drawing historical figures from Heian period Japan interacting with mortal kombat characters but here I am.

Did these to commemorate Khaos Reigns 1 year anniversary and because someone on tumblr was curious about my version of khaos Suchin 😊

I do have some ideas for these versions of them with Suchin being native to Havik's timeline and from the city area (where the market place we see in the story is) while Kenshi isn't and from the wastelands, but I don't know how often I'd return to this au. I do really like the designs though! So I will definitely draw them more I just don't know when.
