Chapter Text
Sun wandered around the forest, as stealthy as he could until he made it to where the bunker should be. It was a fairly empty clearing between some trees and though it seemed empty, he had learned to look closer. Stepping around, looking around, stepping and looking, stepping and looking until he found a metal grate under some leaves. He pulled it up, immediately giving away that someone was here since it came up rather easily meanwhile the other bunkers entrances had gotten stuck or were covered with plant overgrowth due to the amount of time that had passed. He stepped down into the space, looking around he could barely see anything, the only thing that illuminated the space was the sunlight coming in. Pulling his sword out in front of him managed to illuminate some of the space in front of him since fortunately the sword was rather bright. "Like a lightsaber!" Lunar would likely say... if he hadn't scared him away.
He couldn't think of that though. He had to kill Eclipse. And he had the feeling he was here.
As he looked around he saw claw marks on the stone walls, large enough to send shivers down his spine. What could've done that..? He felt shattered glass at his feet, looking around he realized all the light bulbs on the ceiling had been completely destroyed. He assumed Killcode, Bloodmoon and Eclipse could see in the dark so it made sense... kind of?
While walking, he managed to get to what seemed to be the main area, a circular area with stairs swirling around to the next floor. There were only two rooms on the floor he was currently on, the first one's door was completely torn on its hinges, the room inside an even bigger mess. As he approached the next room, he could hear noise coming from inside.
He felt it. It had to be Eclipse .
He hesitated. This isn't what he should be doing... but he had already come all this way!
He stepped inside, lifting his sword up to illuminate the room. An animatronic stared back at him. A black and orange body resembling his own.
"Eclipse."
But when he saw Eclipse actually look scared as he looked back, he knew something was wrong. His head was burning, aching, yelling at him to leave! Something is wrong!
"Sun- Sun you have to leave! Leave right now!" Eclipse quickly spoke as he lifted his hands up in surrender. "He's gonna come kill you!"
"You- you're lying! What are you playing at?!" Sun looked around, the room was a big mess. It looked like Eclipse had a temper tantrum, similar to the kids at the daycare.
"Sun, you don't get it! Killcode is-" Eclipse suddenly froze, falling back as he stared at the space behind Sun with absolute horror. Sun didn't have time to react as he was kicked to the floor. His sword falling a few feet away from him.
"Killing. My youngest. Wasn’t enough?" Killcode growled, before throwing something next to Sun. When Sun finally managed to get his barings and look at what it was, he froze, feeling tears ready to spill out.
"I decided. To return. The favor." Moon's lifeless body laid next to Sun. Sun cried. He had failed. Because of him, Moon died. And now he would die along with him.
Why could he only be a failure in his life..?
-
Eclipse wanted to scream, cry, throw up, anything! Anything at all other than watch. He just couldn't manage to look away. His eyes were wide and his body trembled but he couldn't. Look. Away. Killcode held Sun in place, ripping him apart piece by piece. His screams were all Eclipse could hear. It felt like days passed until Killcode finally silenced Sun for good by tearing the animatronic’s head off.
He felt tears pour down his face, something that shouldn't have been able to happen. But. As he stared at the twins' corpses on the floor in front of him he realized there's no point in questioning the possibility of what is and isn't possible anymore.
Killcode stood up, his cold expression turning into a wide grin as he looked at Eclipse, causing him to shrink back in fear. Ever since Bloodmoon had died, Killcode had started going insane. Killcode was a danger now. A danger to him, the bot was convinced he and Bloodmoon were his children… So when Sun came wandering into the bunker with the intent to kill him, Eclipse knew Sun would die .
”My son.” Killcode spoke happily before crawling to him, his bright eyes staring into him as he pulled Eclipse into a hug. He froze up as the large bot held him, cradling him in his arms, afraid as he felt “his father’s” long claws touch him the slightest bit. Killcode purred, the sound causing him to start crying.
He killed them .
He killed Sun and Moon.
Is it only a matter of time until he’s killed too? Until Killcode slips out of the illusion of Eclipse being his son?

Chapter Text
“Montyyyyyyyy! Monty!” Lunar yelled as he skipped into the empty golf course.
“Montyyyy!” He pouted as he looked around, stomping his foot on the ground as he grew impatient.
”Hey-“ Lunar jumped as he was suddenly lifted into the air by large green hands.
“Hey, kid.” Monty chuckled as he lifted Lunar up onto his shoulders.
“Monty! You seen Sun and Moon?” Lunar giggled as he looked down at Monty from where he sat on his shoulders.
“Hm, no? Why?”
“Neither of them were at the daycare today that I checked.. looks like they had to close the daycare. I thought that was weird.”
”Huh. That is weird. You try asking the computer?”
”Yeah! I did! But they didn’t answer. It was weird..” Lunar mumbled. “I also looked around but I didn’t find anything. I mean I don’t mind taking care of the kids for a bit so they don’t have to close it, but I’m also kind of worried… Sun hasn’t been in.. the best place and stuff. Can you- uh help me find them?”
”Yeah. Let’s go do that…”
Sun and Moon left Lunar alone?
While walking, Monty tried calling them a total of 12 times, the calls went straight to voicemail a total of 12 times.
He tried to be optimistic, but the signs weren’t pointing to anything good. The last time he had heard from the twins was maybe a week ago?
He should’ve been checking in more..
As they arrived to the daycare, the two felt a cold breeze pass by, causing them to shiver.
‘This feels wrong’ The two thought to themselves.
Lunar jumped off of Monty’s shoulder, holding onto Monty’s hand as they walked to the teleporter leading into Sun and Moon’s room. The lights were turned off, though Moon’s room light was turned on.
”You said you already checked in here right?” Monty grumbled as he peeked in through the tunnel to Moon’s room.
”I did! They’re not here… not in any part of the daycare.” Lunar yelled in response from the balcony, where he looked over the entire daycare.
”Computer?” They tried asking, yet there was no response.
”Ey Lunar? C’mere.”
“Yeah?” Lunar jumped over the railing, using his nanos to catch himself.
“Get in there, check on the computer.”
He did as asked, crawling through the tube and stepping up to the arcade computer, poking the screen with no response from the computer. “-puter?”
“Monty, s’ still not working?”
“Uhhh check the wires?”
Using his nanos, he slid behind the computer and pushed it away from the wall.
”Uhmmm, Monty?”
“Yeah, kid?”
”The computer is uh- missing. Everything?”
Monty looked into the room, his eyes widening. The computer’s insides were completely gone. No wires, no motherboards, nothing at all? Though that shouldn’t have been able to affect them. Meaning not only was the marching destroyed from the inside, but their program must have been completely destroyed.
“Shit. Lunar, c’mon get out of there.”
-
“What is it??”
Monty grabbed Lunar as soon as he stepped out of the tunnel, carrying him as he ran out of the daycare. Lunar quickly used his nanos to reform on Monty’s back, and held on tight. He remained quiet until they arrived down at parts and service. Monty looked around quickly, nearly dropping Lunar as he slid down to the computer in front of the repair tube.
“Monty! What- what’s going on?!”
“Computers not online- something happened to Sun n’ Moon- the computer here constantly has the status of every Fazbear animatronic though-“ Monty quickly clicked away on the computer, suddenly his body froze up. Lunar peeked from behind him to look at the computer screen.
“Monty- what- what does that mean?” Lunar asked quietly as he pointed at the screen, though he felt he knew what the answer was.
On the screen were blurry diagrams of both Sun and Moon. Next to them, the word ‘offline’ could be read. A red dot lit next to the word.
“Offline. They’ve been shut off… it.. it could be a voluntary shut off. But.. chances are…”
“Lunar- I. I don’t think Sun n’ Moon are coming back.”
Chapter 3
Summary:
It’s been a few months since Sun n Moon been gone now
Eclipse has to make a quick plan and sends someone off as an errand boy
Chapter Text
Eclipse held Moon's body close to his chest. Though the body was lifeless, it brought him a sense of comfort.
He liked to imagine it was warm. Maybe he could imagine that he was still a part of Moon, that he and Moon were still one being and Killcode never came to be his own being.
The thought that came to his mind more consistently however, was that it was Lunar .
That Lunar was alive and with him.
That he had been able to apologize to Lunar and he had forgiven him. Being the one who had to live in fear rather than being the one that caused it was really eye opening.
He understood now what it was like to have a ‘family member’ to fear.
It's horrifying.
He held Moon’s body a bit tighter.
If Killcode found out about it, he would likely get punished… just like last time.
Killcode hid Moon's body away in the lower storage area, it took a while to find. But when he finally did, Eclipse felt hope .
He did his best to repair it with whatever he could find. Though the options were very limited, due to Killcode limiting his supplies and even movement .
With all he could find, he managed to repair Moon enough to hopefully be able to function soon.
For now, Killcode is gone.
Doing who knows what, who knows where.
So he was free to continue working on repairing Moon, having to sacrifice some of his own parts to repair him.
Hopefully Killcode wouldn't notice that he was missing a few wires in the back of his head.
Adjusting the final wires on Moon's head, he felt like crying.
Please work.
Surprisingly, when the wire was fully connected, Moon’s eye opened and lit up a bright red color.
THAT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!?
“Nonononono-”
Eclipse panicked as Moon’s eye stared back up at him. Moon remained silent before suddenly panicking and screaming, kicking and flailing to get away from him.
“WHO ARE YOU!?” yelled Moon, causing Eclipse to flinch back at the sudden noise.
“Shut up! Shut up! Shut up, Moon!”
“...Moon? Who- what?” Moon jumbled as he looked around, it seemed only one of his eyes was working properly, the other eye just remained half lidded and unmoving meanwhile the other continued quickly surveying the whole room.
“Moon. Listen to me!” He whispered and scoot closer to Moon to get his attention.
“Who. Who are you??”
Dammit, DAMMIT ! This wasn’t what he planned- Not what was expected..
“I'm Eclipse. You're Moon.” He pointed to Moon. Moon looked down at his body, eyes widening as he realized the state his body was in, his chest plate was still open and his outer leg casing was pretty destroyed. “Why do I. Why do I look like this? ”
“Because you do . Now come on.” Eclipse pulled Moon by the arm, lifting him onto his broken legs and feet. Should he just knock out Moon? This wasn't the plan, maybe he should kill him? Nonono he had to try to work with this. Right?
“No! I don't know you!” Moon hissed and backed away.
Okay… Easy solution… easy solution.
“Moon, calm down! You're my… my brother. I just don't have too much time to explain. Killcode. Killcode is after us. He will kill you first. That's why I need your help. Okay?”
“Oh.. okay?” Moon frowned, still confused, though he felt comforted as Eclipse held his hand.
“Moon. I need you to get and do something for me, okay?”
Moon nodded.
“You're going to follow the directions I give you. This should take you to the Pizzaplex. You have to find a spare body. Any will do.”
“That'll help..?” Moon asked as he squeezed Eclipse's hand. The gesture was small but it managed to give Eclipse some reassurance. Some sense of warmth after all the time he had spent here alone. After all the time of having to act perfect in order to please his deranged ‘ father’ who continued to arrive late at night covered in blood.
Would it help? Would it really? Nono. Eclipse didn't know. Not really. He just hoped… but could something else help? Or maybe someone?
“You. Can try and ask Freddy for help. He's a brown bear animatronic. He knows magic and should be able to help. Now here. I'll transfer the most information I can to you.”
Eclipse put a hand to Moon’s head, Moon's eyes glitching out as the data was transferred into his systems.
“When you're at the Plex, avoid the Daycare. Go to parts and service. Just try and be sneaky? Moon I..” He paused. While looking up into Moon's eye, he felt like crying.
There was no guarantee Moon would return.
Moon could find out that he was lying and decide to never come back.
He should just kill Moon and use his body to leave.
He didn't.
“I depend on this. So please.”
Moon looked down sadly before wrapping his arms around Eclipse’s neck, holding him tight in a hug.
A hug he didn't deserve.
He sighed before returning the hug.
“It's okay, Eclipse. I don't remember you. But I'm sure you and I got along great. I'll come back with what you asked.” Moon reassured Eclipse, rubbing his back.
At this point it didn't matter.
Sun and Moon were dead.
He could appreciate the hug.
No one had to know about it.
“Okay. Now come on. We have to get you out of here as soon as possible.” Eclipse guided Moon to the nearest exit. A hole on the ceiling.
“Through here. Don't. Even. Think. About going off track. You're bound to get lost if you do. Okay?” He helped Moon crawl up and out. Moon peeked back in. “You can't come with me?”
Eclipse looked back down at the sigil like marks on his arms before shaking his head and looking back up. “No. Now don't waste time.” Please come back. Don't leave me like you did before. “...Please.”
“Okay. I'll do that then.” Though clearly confused, Moon tried to be reassuring before standing up and covering the exit back up.
Please come back, Moon.
Just this once.
… Who am I kidding? I'm a fucking idiot.
He's not coming back.
..is he?
