Krakoa is for Lovers!

Summary:

A one-shot gathering my thoughts and plots involving Krakoa as the mutant paradise it could not have been on panel, but should in our imaginations.

Chapter Text

Krakoa was reestablished in 2019 as the mutant nation for all mutantdom, founded by a retconed Moira, Xavier and Magneto, who invited all mutants to live on the island to escape persecution by the world at large.

When Jonathan Hickman wrote, in a tweet, in 2019, he said that the collective noun for an island of mutants was "an orgy".

This is in line with what Matt Fraction wrote back in 2008 when he took over writing duties for Uncanny X-Men: his tenure would be called B.O.T.S, as in, "Bring On The Sex!", but the only "sex" Fraction's run brought was Greg Land and his hidden stash of questionable reference photos, but that is neither here not there.

Thus, the present project arose partially out of a writer's block, and partially as a homage to a set of drawings done by one "xXx-Men", back in the 2000s/early 2010s, IIRC. The latter portion justifies the "Rule 63" tag.

For better visualization, some genderbent X-Men appear in "Uncanny X-Men" issue 462, from 2005.

Thus, without further ado, let us present...

KRAKOA IS FOR LOVERS!

The idea is to gather the (male) mutants to Krakoa's island, where they will live on, and have them establish a new mutant society.

Since Krakoa is a lush and verdant island, comparisons to the Garden of Eden and Paradise are intentional, since the island provides them with whatever they need with its "organic technology". In exchange, the mutant inhabitants just have to provide a morsel of energy to their host (on-panel, Krakoa allowed the mutants to live on itself, provided that the mutants donated a bit of psychic energy to it). How would they do it? Why, by fucking, of course!!

Which leads to my next point: on the island, everyone is canonically pansexual (bisexual, if a writer wishes to include the canon female members or rule-63 the existing males) and canonically polyamorous. The latter part has some of the main ideas I had for this setup:

In canon, for example, Cyclops lived on the Blue Area of the moon with the Summers Clan... and Wolverine. This is what, in my headcanon, would be a "Node".

A "Node", per my definition within the setting, allows me (or any writer) to better locate the characters I wish to write about within the story frame, based on the relationships they have in canon with each other.
Now, this "node" does not have any importance in-story, it is simply a metatextual tool for the writer. Of course, this does not exclude the idea that, in-universe, the members of the "node" do make a polycule themselves.

To elaborate:

* If I am writing Wolverine and whoever else having wild, savage sex under a waterfall, I consult the "node" I established for him. Wolverine's node would include, for example, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Sabertooth, and Daken, among other members.
* If I am writing Cyclops and, say, male!Jean Grey (Eugene Grey) getting a blowjob from male!Emma Frost (Edgar Frost), the Cyclops's node would include Cyclops, Cable, Kid Cable, Nate Grey, Alex Summers, etc.

tl;dr: Think of the node as a "tag cloud": one central character that acts as lynchpin and draws the others to their orbit.

As for another point, I envision some of the younger characters as around the same age range. For example:

* Franklin Richards is aged up to his teen incarnation (either Dan Slott's ''Fantastic Four'') or 90's Psi-Lord.

* Some of the students have vaguely defined ages in canon, but most are in their late-teens or early-twenties.

----
Now, past the very long introduction, the setting is open for anyone to use, now that the Krakoa Age is ending come July, but hey, we'll always have fanfiction!

Chapter 2: The House of M

Summary:

Who are the members of the House of Magnus?

Notes:

Presenting the Magneto Node.

Chapter Text

Continuing from the previous chapter, in this one we introduce the members of the House of Magnus - mutant royalty, if one is bold enough.

  1. Magneto is the lynchpin. Regular pairings with Xavier and male!Rogue.
  2. Polaris could be Rule63'fied and become Lorne Dane. Could be paired with Iceman and/or Alex Summers in a throuple, fixing the obtuse love triangle.
  3. Twins Quicksilver and Scarlet Warlock can be in a Twincest relationship (mirroring the Ultimates 3 development).
  • Quicksilver I've seen paired with Namor, as it was once hinted at during the House of M crossover and in Kris Anka's covers.

4. Scarlet Warlock twins, Speed and Wiccan, are also present at the island, in their late-teens.

  • Wiccan and Hulking can be a pair, but also include others in their relationship (candidates include his twin Speed)
  • Speed is dating David Alleyne/Prodigy as the "thinkfast" ship.

Chapter 3: The X-Sluts, or, "The Hoes of X"

Summary:

A look into some independent characters and how they figure in the newly built House of X as its "Hoes of X".

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

A look into some of the independent X-Sluts of Krakoa:

1) Iceman - wanting to be as slutty as possible, he can be paired with anyone.
2) Gambit - the X-Slut of X-Sluts; a whore, if the X-Men ever saw one.
3) Juggernaut - I mean, large and behemoth-like, and a juggernaut of a cock, to boot.
4) Cypher - a quasi-canonical pairing with technological alien Warlock. Has something going on with Krakoa.

Notes:

EDIT: Chapter title added.

Chapter 4: Das Summers' Haus

Summary:

How would the Summers House in the Moon look like in an-all male universe?

Chapter Text

The Summer House in the Moon, where the Summers clan holds spectacular orgies:

  1. Cyclops - Krakoa has to qualms or taboos about public nudity, but would our scout boy even be our favourite two one-eyed scout boy if he did not have his ruby quartz visor?
  2. Havok - in a throuple with Iceman and Polaris, ending their decades-long and tiresome affair. Invites his boyfriends/husbands to join the Summer House orgies.
  3. Old Cable - an old soldier. Time-travelling to the past, present and future in search of the perfect lover... or lovers. Regales his relatives with extravagant accounts of his trysts.
  4. Teen Cable - late-teens, at the most. A rebellious teenager in search of a father figure... and a "daddy" figure. Also following the old-age adage: he loves himself by... loving his older self!
  5. Gabriel Summers - the Third Summers Brother. In a relationship with Darwin (Armando Muñoz), who he invites to join their orgies. Gabriel and Darwin can help in managing the orgy, since their combined powers can negate the other Summers' energies.

Chapter 5: The Phoenix Nest's Nasties

Summary:

In the Dark Side of the Moon, the Phoenix's fire shines upon its chosen ones, igniting fiery passions in them.

Notes:

Updates May 20th, 2024.

Chapter Text

In the Dark Area of the Moon, the light and fire of the Phoenix shines upon its chosen ones, ingniting fiery passions in all.

I envision the "Phoenix Nest" in an annex of the Summers House, housing the Phoenix-related characters:

  1. Eugene (Gene) Grey, the Phoenix, is married to Scott Summers.
  2. Nate Grey, Cable and Teen's Cable alternate reality version. Cloned by mixing Gene and Scott's genetic material. Blame Mr. Sinister for this.
  3. Ray Summers - Phoenix's other preferred host. In a relationship with Franklin Richards, scion of the Fantastic Four.
  4. Franklin Richards - the reality-altering mutant, son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm. Also has telepathic powers, which he uses to have mindfucking sex with his boyfriend Ray.
  5. Flint Summers - do not mock him for his name, Cable ran out of options. Teenage son of Cable the Elder, who does not very much like Cable the Younger. Member of the awesome fivesome, the Five, who are pretty much his four unofficial husbands. Maybe Exodus can officiate their wedding.

Chapter 6: New X-Men: Academy xXx

Summary:

How would the New X-Men pairings of normal reality work in the setting?

Chapter Text

A look into the love triangles (and more) between the X-students:

I) The Mind(fuck) Hive: The preppy Five-In-One (twinkish clones/sons of Emmet Frost: Spencer, Ugo, Glenn, Alden and Ruben Sanders) are in a multirelationship with other telepaths on the island: militant rebel Quentin Quire and gun-aficionado Teen Cable.

II) The New Mutants:

a) Elixir and Wither

b) Prodigy and Speed (Magneto's grandchild) - Prodigy also has something of a crush on Josh Foley.

Chapter 7: The Pack

Summary:

Bitter enemies become lustful lovers, and found their own pack.

Chapter Text

Wolverine and Sabertooth finally settle their differences... in bed! Their only goal: to see who is the Alpha of their group. The way they both lose against the other indicate they are not taking this competition seriously.

Still, they welcome their trusted (and thrusting) allies into their pack:

From Sabertooth's side:

a) Birdie - a femboyish blonde twink with telepathic powers who gives Creed "the glow". Be careful, though: little bird bites!

From Wolverine's side: As Logan's wisely said one day, "any port in a storm".

a) Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner) - acrobatics are an awesome addition in bed.

b) Daken Akihiro - Logan's estranged son is welcomed into Krakoa and the pack.

Wolverine also alternates between the Summer House and the pack.

Chapter 8: xXx-Force: The Man from the xXxth century

Summary:

A glimpse into the inner workings of the X-Force. A parody on Cable's comic origin (rebel leader from the Apocalypse-led XXXth century).

Chapter Text

Old Cable and Teen Cable join forces, minds and bodies to find the perfect mutants for their personal army.

Did I mention "army"? I meant harem.

Who will be the lucky mutants who will be thrust into action? (And what action.)

Chapter 9: House of the Elements

Summary:

A look into the pairings of the element- and nature-powered mutants.

Chapter Text

Following the example set by the Five, mutants with elemental powers make a sorta informal gathering they call "House of the Elements". Likewise, the more nature-inclined characters use their powers to strengthen Krakoa's natural connection to the world.

1) Who can melt Bobby Drake's heart (apart from his husbands)?

Reflecing what Bobby said once ("frozen hands, warm heart"), our snowman is willing to share his popsicle with people that can make him melt into a puddle in bed. Apart from Alex Summers and Lorne Dane, Drake chooses to have other mutants on his bed:

a) Cannonball (Sam Guthrie)

b) Sunspot (Roberto da Costa, Bobby da Costa, 'Berto)

c) Sunfire (Shiro Yoshida)

d) Gambit (Remy LeBeau)

Chapter 10: Ecstasy of Saint Paris

Summary:

Exodus (Bennet du Paris or Paris Bennet) is a certified religious nut who equates mutations with the Transcendent. When he meets the Five (and their related substitutes/subgroups), there is nothing for him to do save basking in the ecstasy he feels in their presence.

Notes:

In the context of this fic, I'm 63'ing the female members into men (as seen in previous chapters), but this does not preclude other writers from using the setting as all-female or normal Marvel reality.

Also, I'm expanding the role of the Five to encompass other mutants with similar powers that can replace the main ones, since Krakoa brought every lost toy back into the box, so to speak.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

In this version, the Five are all male. Xavier, Magneto and the Quiet Council decide to have backups of backups, and place together mutants with similar powers to those of the Five. This eventually leads to the subgroups making their own enclaves.

Xavier, Magneto, Moira and the Quiet Council slot the Resurrection Five into five power archetypes:

  1. The Power Manipulator/Power Copier (Hope, aka, Flint Summers)
  2. The Vessel - provides the egg (Fabio Medina)
  3. The Biomanipulator - accelerates cellular growth (Elixir)
  4. The Reality Warper - alters the egg/cocoon (PRoteus)
  5. The Chronokinectic - ages the husk to the desired age (Eva Bell, aka, Ezra Bell)

Our groups and subgroups:

  1. The Main Five: Flint Summers, Fabio Medina, Josh Foley, Ezra Bell, and Kevin MacTaggert.

Kevin MacTaggert/Proteus retains his bald, purple-skinned look, but visibly resembles a purple Dr. Manhattan from the comics. As in, he struts around naked with a medium-sized purple cock.

Flint Summers is the Rule 63'ed Hope, also making it a punny name.

Josh Foley struts around in all his glistening, golden glory - and what glory, Exodus thinks, to gaze at Foley's golden skin in the sunlight, radiant as an angel's.

2. The Second Five: X-Man (Nate Grey), Powerhouse (Franklin Richards), Timeslip (Ravi Patel, a Rule 63!Rina Patel) and Marcuse Pryor (Rule 63!Madelyne Pryor).

The higher-ups decide to room Nate and Franklin together for their friendship (and familial connection), since the latter is banging the former's biological brother.

Ravi Patel comes recommended by a mutual acquaintance, Alex Power, from Power Pack and the New Warriors.

Marcuse Pryor (who, in this reality, is a Rule 63!Madelyne Pryor) keeps his Anodyne powers from the Asguardian Wars (aka, the healing powers) and alternates between the Anodyne and Goblyn King identities.

Thus, for the second group of the five, this is their arrangement:

  1. The Power Manipulator - Nate Grey
  2. The Vessel - Fabio Medina
  3. The Biomanipulator - Marcuse Pryor (in Anodyne identity)
  4. The Reality Warper - Franklin Richards
  5. The Chronokinectic - Ravi Patel (Timeslip)

3. The Third Five:

Notes:

I'll go updating the chapter (and its publication date) with new developments, until I finish it and return to the ideas of the previous one.
