Chapter Text

Third view 

Levi was close; he could smell it in the air. He had been on the scent for what seemed like weeks but was only one. The damn thing kept changing direction; it was smarter than he assumed it was. This is fucking ridiculous he muttered to himself in annoyance. 

Levi's pov 

 I was tired, bored and most of all, I was fucking filthy and to the lord I detest I hated being dirty. How the fuck did she trick me into the forest to catch a fucking dragon they have the prince of hell Levithian doing this shit as soon as i get back I'm going to kill hangi. I cursed promising bloodshed at the situation I got myself into . 

 I remembered it like it was yesterday which it wasn't because I've been in this shitty forest for a week. 

 Leviiiiiii! Screamed the banshee which is ironic because that's what kind of demon she was. 

 “What shitty four-eyes I'm busy” I lied hoping she'll go away. 

“Torturing the damned is not busy. I have a new baby and you're going to help me with it”. She finally told me why she was here other than to piss me off. 

“Fuck no! I told you to stop with the shitty experiments you freak”. I said so done with this conversation. 

“Short-stack if you help me you get to leave hell until you're done”. Hangi said with a gleam in her eye she knew she had my interest. I was doing nothing and to be honest I was pretty bored of sitting on this throne. 

“How long do i get to be gone” I said, a little hesitant to trust her knowing how she is. 

“until you find what I'm looking for bring one back dead or alive and while your gone I'll make Erwin cover for you and before you ask he owes me a favor” she said with a wink fucking disgusting both of them are fucking freaks how they're my friends and high ranking demons I'll never know.

“Deal” in hell when making a deal you shake on it in a kind of a binding to make sure you fulfill your part that's where you have to be careful what you shake on.

Even knowing this and hangi I still shook on it and made the worst deal of my enternal life and I've made alot of shitty ones but none involved looking for fucking ancient ass dragons a giant ass lizards in a shitty dirty ass forest sure I've maybe razed a few but from the fucking outside not in one were I could get eaten. 

    I knew I had fucked myself over when I finally stopped cursing hangi out in my head and out loud and analyzed what she actually wanted me to do which happend to be fuck with a dragon and try to catch one. A being that's just as ancient as demons and with age like all demons it gets just as strong as one if given time and if the dragon is old enough to fight it could end up doing damage or worse might exhale their stinky ass breath in my face before it tries to eat me and don't get me started on the females especially one protecting its young. 

Now I'm walking around looking for a hunter like a dumbass looking like I'm fucking prey cause of my bloody height what am I just suppose to walk onto one fucking sleeping or something. I'm pissed and about to raze this whole forest to call one of those things out of hiding so I can go home. I am a patient creature but not as much when I'm tricked into doing hangi's dirty work.

  Never make a deal with a demon that's as old as Hangi; she has tricks up her sleeve that apparently still work on me. It always ends up screwing me over in the end and I keep falling for it because she just so begrudgingly happens to be my best friend. 

  I'm about to snap my fingers to create a small flame to set the closest tree to me ablaze and start some chaos when I hear a screech somewhere close by. Now I would normally be annoyed at the loud sound but a small part of my long dead heart was happy because I can finally get out of this forest and take a long ass skin peeling off hot shower. I almost sigh in relief when the thing screeches again louder. It took that time for me to realize that it was scared, terrified even. 

 My feet moved before my brain did and I was speeding through the forest. 

Third view 

 He was like a blur to an outsider's view, only something you thought you saw. An anomaly.

Levi's pov 

The closer I got the more my heart raced. I thought it would never be able to do this again since it hasn't beat since I'd fallen. I came to a stop once I felt it, it was almost like it was coming to meet me halfway. Then the very beast that called out flashed by me and it was like time stopped when gold eyes locked on mine before it looked away to keep fleeing from something. It was small but definitely not a hatchling, probably a teenager at most. I was about to follow the dragon. Something in me demanded it commanded it of me when the follower crashed after the first dragon, my dragon. 

 Another screech of terror called for help and I didn't even feel it as my large black feather wings ripped from my back. My jaw forced somewhat open to accommodate two rows of dagger-like teeth. Twin blades slid down my arms born from the flames that licked at the sides of them and then I was consumed. The anger I felt, felt like no other before. I hadn't felt fury like this in centuries. The chase was on and I was running out of time. 

  Eren pov

How do I always manage to get myself into trouble like this all I wanted was to bathe. I've been moving non stop for a week trying to escape a smell so mouth-watering yet exuding power like nothing I've sensed before, nothing I've felt. It hung heavy in the air like a dark fog intangible. It was dark, dangerous and some crazy part of me wanted to get caught just to see what or who it was. 

 Just as I shed my skin tight black colored leather pants a cut- out bodysuit and my heeled hunter boots I stepped into the ice cold water letting my shoulder length hair out of its bun. As the water was too cold I let out a green chemical like substance a poison if you will to trick the water into heating up as a reaction to what was being put in it to try and preserve itself. 

 I sank to only about my waist down when someone crashed out of the tree line. He was a dragon. I could smell it on him. He was a creature of the night and he was in a rut. I hated the way he looked at me. It brought shivers of disgust down my spine. Keeping eye contact I slowly snap my fingers teleporting to the other side of the clearing clothes and all on. 

 I blinked and he was racing towards me I barely had a chance to change forms before I was tackled to the ground but mama and nest mates did not raise a submissive bitch I rolled us over and proceeded to throw three sharp punches to his face making him screamed in pain every feeling being heightened by the rut not just his lust. As soon as he released me to grab his nose I sprung up, and proceeded to kick him in the gut to buy myself some more time. 

  I hope I gave myself enough of it. I took off my wings unfurling from my shoulder blades, taking me to the air as I turned to my true form. I was small as a dragon, only just maturing at the age of one-thousand and eighteen. The advantage was I could change faster and I flew a little faster than a larger dragon my size even allowed me to make sharp turns through the trees to see if that would help me lose him. 

 It only took a second for him to be right behind me roaring at me telling me to submit to him that I would not be punished if I came back. 

 ;Fuck you I don't know you and I'm not going to be your breeding whore;. 

   I screeched back at him in just as much anger. For a foolish minute I thought he would leave me alone when the bastard shot a dark slime-like substance at me grazing me as I somewhat avoided being hit head on but if only barely I could feel my side start to throb in pain.

  This continued for about thirty minutes, him firing at me sometimes hitting me, others not and me screeching at him to stop to leave me alone that I didn't want to be taken by him, especially not by force. 

  My screech of terror must have alerted the other creature in the forest. It was moving towards me and it was moving fast. For a split second I thought if it wanted something, maybe it would save me and it could give me a chance to escape while he deals with the dominant. It was a gamble but one I was willing to take I took a swan dive towards the forest floor. I spread my wings just in time to catch myself from my abrupt descent and proceeded to beat them twice to get myself steady. 

 I looked back to see him still coming so far in his rut he could not recognize the danger we were both in but hopefully more him. My wings were tired and I felt like I was going to collapse out of the air. 

 Please let this thing save me please let me be free from what this dominant would give me as a future. I fly as fast as I can in the direction the thing is heading towards as if trying to reach me I try to give myself a boast and it was just enough to give me a few feet I breeze by the place I think it is and have the urge to look I see black irises with slitted pupils that looked sideways. 

 And I hate myself in that moment for thinking that a demon this strong would help me I'll either be raped or killed. The best part is I choose death. So I glided past still ahead but slowing down, my body shutting down on me and I dropped to the forest floor only stopping to collide into a few trees that did nothing to break my fall but make it worse as I landed. As I think to myself at least I didn't roll over and take it and then everything went dark. 

 Levi pov 

 I let out a growl that shook the whole forest. The air buzzed around me as it heated up and I let out a burst of speed to give chase. The male dragon didn't even glance back at me and I didn't know if I was offended or if this was my chance to surprise it. The dragon was big but not that old. I had thousands on it, it would barely give me trouble but my dragon was smaller so I could see in his eyes he was exhausted. I don't even know how I knew it was a him but those eyes were beautiful and the creature there connected to belongs to me now and I'll kill anything or anyone who harms him or tries to take him from me.  

  As I close in on the bigger male I see something fall from the sky and crash into the trees. I'm running out of time. I thought huffing in anger practically seething with it. I could feel my demonic powers burning under my skin begging to be released to be used for the first time to protect. I would have to analyze that later. 

  Just as I saw the smaller dragon fall, so did the one in front of me. I let out a roar demanding he stop. He barely glanced at me, pissing me off more adding to the feeling of bloodlust in me. I finally let go of everything under the surface of me, my skin turning a black like shade tinting with sliver, my horns unfurled from my head sharp as the blades gripped tight in my hands. My body moves on autopilot as I disperse my right sword into the flames surrounding me, I gather the fire around me and throw it out let a whip to wrap around his meaty neck in a burning leash. 

   Third view 

He was deadly as the daggers in his mouth that glinted in the sun which shone directly on razor-sharp teeth with a cutting leer on his slightly thin lips. He pulled on the leash taking immense pleasure in the dragon's pain. Levi basked in his agony as it was the other dragons turn to screech in terror now just realizing what was happening around it. With a sharp tug he drugged the wildly thrashing beast towards him. As soon as it was close enough he motioned his arms in a downward movement that threw the beast to the ground causing it to crash into the earth, making sure to put enough force behind the throw so that the landing hurt the beast just as much as Levi’s dragons landing seemed to hurt 

Levi slowed his descent hovering to assure it would not try to take to the skies again before landing in front of it. And then he spoke in a voice of pure darkness almost as if there were two different entities: his deep rough voice and the very voice of hell that promised pain and misery. Though what would you expect from the soon to be king of hell who's favorite pastime was torturing souls of the damned and this beast was now on his list. 

He prowled towards the dragon stopping in front of him and crouched down to look this animal in the eye. He grabbed at its horns roughly to lift its head to gain eye contact. He hissed out his next words somehow still with that growl in his voice with the voice of hell backing him up. 

 “You dare touch what belongs to me wretched beast”.  The sheer power behind Levi's words forced the dragon to shift to his lesser form to feel the full effect of his wrath.  “You dare hurt what is Mine” !.  He shouted in the same two tone voice in an outrage the more livid he got the more his voice swirled until they both combined until Levi was hell itself in a body, in his body.

 “ You will foolishly pay with your life wyrm for what you have done. Would you like a chance to speak your peace”.  Levi's tone was mocking letting this worthless creature believe it had a chance to live just to toy with it with as he licked around sharp teeth he listened 

‘ It…it wasn't my fault he asked for it bathing in the river like that”. He had barely managed to choke out of his burnt throat. 

With a deranged smile on his face ‘ ohhhh  Levi drawled as if bored of the fool's denial of his wrong doings. “ He asked for it, you say he asked for you to chase him he asked for you to try and force yourself on him you say he asked for it”. Levi roared in his face completely gone now he had no humanity left in him well the little he had left was completely gone. 

"No , I wasn't going to force him, he…..he ran that means we were courting we are courting he is  mine I saw him first demon ”. 

“So you do know what I am yet you still challenge me, try to claim what does not belong to you, claim who does not want to belong to you. Levi said with a dark chuckle "Don't make me laugh you pitiful uncivilized swine and I no longer desire to continue this conversation Floch I'll have a special place waiting in hell for you. You see , my friend wanted a dragon; she did say it didn't have to be alive”.  With a wicked cackle that carried throughout the area Levi lifted Floch by his hair as that was what he was holding on to after the change to bare him his throat and with a swift movement he cut his head clean off his shoulders in a wide arch to try and lessen the blood that would spurt out of the body. 

 Floches' body fell to the floor leaking crimson into the foliage. As his eyes stayed forever frozen in fear at his impending death shocked by his ending.  “ Fool” 

 Slowly his body started to change back to his human form disoriented from doing that for the first time. Never has hell been at his beck and call, never has it flowed through him like a river giving him power even Lucifer didn't and could never have. 

  As Levi came to himself he realized he still needed to check on his dragon to make sure he was okay. That he hadn't died in the crash or from the chase. He quickly made his way in the direction hoping the dragon would be okay that he’d saved it. As Levi approached the area the dragon landed in he spotted him lying on the ground barely breathing. 

Levi pov

 I rushed to the dragon praying to the God that abandoned me as I had abandoned him for the dragon to be okay. I didn't even know why it mattered and I didn't care. I just had a feeling it did and hell agreed with me. I slowly approached not wanting to spook it if it awakened in my presence. Then I finally got a good look at it and he was the most beautiful creature I had ever seen. His carribian blue and crystal teal scales shone in the sun. I laid my hand on his snout just barely touching him only for his eyes to snap open and him to let out a squeak of surprise and terror either at thinking I was the other dragon or just because of my power alone I wasn't sure. 

His eyes were still that beautifully haunting shade of gold but now I could see the same shade of the teal that was his scales flecked within them. I could tell he was starting to panic and even though comfort is not my strong suit I'll try for him. I slowly back up and hold my hands up to show I mean no harm. 

“I do not mean to cause any distress to you dragon, the other that pursued you can not hurt you anymore you need medical attention I can help but you have to change back can you do that for me”?  I tried my best to soften my hoarse, deepened voice and it seemed to work as the dragon shook his head yes but only after scanning the area then staring me down to determine if I was being truthful. 

 Once he deemed it safe and that he could trust me his body began to shrink to his lesser human form even more beautiful than his beast one is. He was ethereal in looks from what I was seeing: a curved body from the waist down shoulder length chocolate brown hair skin tight black pants, heeled boots and a cut bodysuit that should be illegal. 

 I still haven't seen the dragon's human face yet but I know it will be breathtaking. And I was not disappointed either. This beautiful creature lifted his head in slow motion to show teal eyes with gold flecks. A complete reverse of his dragon form looked at me and with his scales shed I got the full brunt of the dragon's scent. It was wild and free as a bluebell flower and tasted of sunshine with a toxic twist that reminded me of home as it caused me to open my mouth to breathe more in. I inhaled it like a drug, never getting enough. I knew at that moment he was my mate. I never thought I would get one, that I would be cursed to live a lifetime alone. 

I could tell the moment he realized too his pupils dilating and his nose flaring as he parted his lips as if to breathe me in. Then his mouth fell open with a sob of relief at being safe at me finding him and him finding me and I won't lie and say I didn't let out a sigh of relief myself not being one to cry. 

Third view

Eren lunged at his mate forgetting all about his pain, crying out loud as he couldn't believe he had been found by his mate that he had been saved. That no one would try to hurt him anymore, try to force him to mate them without his consent. He felt free. Eren couldn't get enough of his mate's scent. It was spiced and tinted with dragon's blood but not smelling like copper but of the dragon tree dracaena cinnabari, one of his favorite plants.

The more he breathed of his mate the more his body relaxed. Eren realized how exhausted he truly was after everything that had happened today had finally caught up with him. His body began to ache everywhere and he didn't know how long he could stay awake. But he would not go to sleep without knowing his mate's name, his shadow's name a nickname eren decided to give his mate due to his darkly colored hair. 

 “ Mate” Eren breathed out in a soft voice weaken from exhaustion as his breathing slowed to indicate he was falling asleep he asked “ what's your name”

“ My name is Levi, my lux ," he said in Latin. 

“ Levi” he breathed out his name, “my name is Eren  sjach” he says in his mother tongue.

“You are safe now, I will take care of you." Levi whispered to him Eren weakly nodded and smiled at his mate before he let his head rest on his mate's chest as he drifted off. 

Levi's pov

I sighed in relief that he trusted me enough to fall asleep in my arms. I had to get back to hell. I hate to take him there but that is where I rule where I know he will be safe and worshiped like he deserves. They will all bow down to him and as he grows so will his strength though I'm not sure if he will get bigger as he is the receiver in this relationship.  

 Before I go, I go back to that heathen's body and send it to Hangi to do with it as she pleases, not really knowing what she wanted one for. Once I knew he made it through even though I really didn't care I made sure my grip on my Lux was secure then opened up the portal or gates whatever you want to call it and opened it to hell and stepped through being sure not to jostle Eren too much as I walk. 

I don't even need to look to know all the lesser and worker demons are stopping to look at me trying to see what their new King had in his arms. I shield eren not wanting them to see just yet I must make sure he is okay first he has some horrible bruises that make me want to bring that wyrm back to life and kill Floch all over again. 

 I finally get enough of the searching eyes and unfurl my wings to make it to the castle faster while still being careful of my precious cargo.  Five minutes later I safely land on my balcony to my room to set Eren down on the bed before calling hangi to the room to check him over. No matter how crazy hangi is, she's the best doctor we have in hell.

 She was one in her human life before she started killing her patients with symptoms to see if they were witches or not which was her downfall and her punishment to be proclaimed as what she tried to find by hurting others. That does not take away from her genius; she became a banshee because when they burned her at the stake in the sixteenth century claiming her a witch too that worked with the devil trying to cover her tracks she cackled and screeched at them damning their souls with hers. 

 When she did become strong enough to go back to earth she released the bubonic plague killing around one hundred thousand people. After that she became one of the higher ranking demons and forced her friendship onto me even though I was more powerful and much older as I had fallen around 530 BC before humans even believed they had a god and I've been in hell ever since but she did not fear me because she was and still is bat shit crazy. 

 “Hangi I need you to come to my room immediately, it's an emergency and bring your medical bag” . I demanded letting her know I was serious and this wasn't the time for her games.

“ I'll be right there sir congratulations on becoming king I'll be there in two mins so I can grab my things” . She replied through the fire mirror on the wall next to my bed. 

“ Good” is all I felt the need to reply as I turned my attention to something much more important, checking to make sure my mate was still okay.  I breathed a sigh of relief to see he was doing fine in the heat of hell and that he seemed to be breathing better. It's almost like he's absorbing the air around him. Interestingly, the air down here is toxic. I had put a barrier on him to help him filter it out but it seems like it's flowing towards him anyway. It makes me wonder what his draconian powers are. 

Third view

 Levi pondered with a slight scowl on his face worried about what was happening to his Lux . Just then he heard a knock at the door knowing it was Hangi, Levi waved his hand towards the door causing it to open and as soon as she stepped in he flicked his wrist to close it again. 

 “ You actually came in two minutes. I am impressed but there are more pressing matters. Do you have your medical bag on hand as I requested” Levi inquired of her needing to know if she followed all his orders. At the question Hangi raised her right hand that held her bag in it with a completely serious expression on her usually smiling face. 

“ I do. Now what do you need me to do sir you don't seem to be the one injured” She said looking her king over just to make sure she was right in her analysis of the situation at hand. 

“ I am fine Hangi, while your worry is well appreciated is not necessary, it's is my mate that has been harmed. It has something to do with the gift I sent you Levi said with a wave of his hand as if to brush off her worry about him needing her to focus on what was really important.

“ Mate sir you found your mate on earth my I ask what kind of demon it is also is it male or female. This is all for medical reasons not personal; she quickly added to the glare that was sent her way. 

 Levi glared death at her,  at her misinterpretation of his mate. “A demon” he scoffed out, don't be a dumbass, have you not scented the air? He is one of the creatures you sent me after. One that you manipulated me to get for you, you bitch”. 

“ No offense but how are you mated to a dragon? They are from the earth and the sky. How will he survive in hell? You can't just leave hell it has made you its king there is no going back what will you do Levi. Which will you choose?”. She dared to say. 

 He couldn't believe she dared to ask him to choose between the two of them. Levi shut her ass right up though. He had never dared to hit Hangi not because he was afraid of her but because he respect and value her as a friend but she must learn her place. She does not ask this of him. 

He moved quickly and backhanded her across the face feeling no remorse at what he had just done. “ You dare question your king ,will here is your answer witch, hell itself bestowed on me its power in order to protect that dragon my mate hell chose me and the destiny choose him for me and you will not question me again do as you told and leave before I do worse. I snarled at her face and flashed my teeth at her as they grew out of my mouth. 

She stepped back startled at what I had just done to her, her face fell and I finally felt bad for my actions I huffed out a breath “ Hangi I had no right to hit you but you had no right to question my decision especially after I just found him in my mind you were telling me to let him go that he wasn't mine and I snapped but that does not excuse what I did to you will you accept my apology and please check on him”. I said quietly, almost afraid of her answer , waiting for her to storm out of the room and never talk to me again. I will never admit this to anyone but I would hate to lose her. 

“Will you raise your hand to me again Levi” 

“Levi claimed he wouldn't he sweared this to her and if I do you have permission to hit me back” he got out in a rush just waiting for her reply

“ Aww you loooove me shortie I am also sorry I did not think before I spoke let's have a look at you mate now do you mind telling me his name. 

“It's Eren and he's the most beautiful creature I have ever laid eyes on in the twenty-five centuries of life. 

“ Okay let's have a look at him. She glanced down only to shoot back up and say. “What the hell! Levi, why is your mate absorbing the toxins of hell like its regular air? This is amazing and completely fascinating. Ohhh can I do experi….

.never mind she said quickly ending in a whistle at the dark heavy sound that left Levi's chest at her question of experimenting on his mate.  

“But it is astounding that he can breathe down here how did you even find him 

“ Well your ass only told me to find a random dragon so I spent a week looking for one following a scent only for it to disappear when I got to close then one day I heard a screech of terror and Hangi it sounded horrible he was terrified and it's felt like my heart leaped out of my chest and all I could think about was saving him the closer I got to him the more I could hear his his cries for help telling the other dragon to leave him alone.

   I've not been that angry in a long time and all of a sudden I saw him fly by barely hanging on. I saw his eyes. I knew he was mine even before I knew he was my mate. My beast recognized its beast before my human form registered what he truly was to me.

 “That's crazy shortie but how did I end up with a decapitated body in my lab? Also it looks pretty human to me is that what it looks like in its lesser form” . Hangi questions him but still a little conscious of what she should and shouldn't ask. 

“ Yes that is the beast human form and well obviously I had to killed the thing for daring to think he would touch what was mine and to be honest it was his dumbass fault he got decapitated he said Eren asked to be chased to be hurt to be forced to stop and submit to him that they were courting ” Levi spat the words out like poison on his tongue becoming angry again. 

“Okay sir let's calm down your mate seems to be fine maybe even doing better here than on earth now I know it sounds crazy” 

“ because it does” She interrupted levi like he did to her 

“ But” she stared at him to make sure he wouldn't say anything “ but seeing as he is your mate his body was probably already born this way from the beginning  in coalition to being your partner. Do you get what I'm saying” 

“Yeah you're basically saying he's something divine like. I mean it makes sense you should see his appearance in his draconian form he is beautiful but in his human one he is ethereal,  eternal beauty”. Levi praised his mate

“ Remember king he may look divine but that does not mean his powers are, look the more toxins he takes in the more his skin clears.

  The bruises are fading and it's like he's replenishing even his shape has filled out his birthing hips are coming in more”. She added and made Levi take a look

“Hangi was right, Levi never gave too much thought to how he would continue his bloodline. He knew Eren would be the one receiving but did not think he would be able to birth Levi an heir. “Is this a dragon thing or an Eren thing”.

“Well see as you said the other dragon was chasing him to quote ‘court’ then he also knew of Eren's ability to reproduce so it must be a dragon thing. Let me ask you how did you know he would be the one taking it up the ass short-stuff”

“Fuck off with the names shitty four-eyes and to answer you it was his size for one and his scent it was wild but soft if you get that it didn't have a spiciness to it but when I saw his body and how he choose to dress himself even the way he cried in relief at me saving him and being his mate told Levi he would be the dominant in the relationship. 

“So if you noticed that, why wouldn't another dominant male especially one from the same species, also notice? Though from what you described I wonder what exactly happened before he chased eren and how they even came across each other it seems with all the aggression he may have been in rut even demons have those”.  

Hangi explained to Levi then questioned how Eren even got himself in that situation. But still gave Levi a reason as to why Eren was chased.

“ I'm not sure how it all happened nor do I care if there was a reason or if that wyrm was in a so-called rut. He should have been strong enough to stop himself,” Levi said aggressively.

“Levi have you ever had a rut …no you haven't demons also have ruts. Ours are just different from dragons. We only go into rut when our bonded mate goes into heat which raises the need to impregnate them around a day after we encounter them and after it usually ends for us indefinitely.

   “While it happens to dragon's every three months for demons if we have no mate we don't go into rut but from what I've seen if we do find our mate coupling can get wild and potentially harm the submissive though they are always fine at the end even excited for their expected young.

   “But that is also where we differ from dragons: if we locate our mate we only have to have one successfully breeding on the initial mating, if not we have another until the dominant seed finally takes hold. 

  “If on a demon's beginning rut and their bodies see we will be successful on the first coupling it thinks we will be with every mating. If the seed catches on the initial rut we may mate as we please without rut to force conception.  While for dragon's are only more fruitful in conceiving on their ruts every three months and that is why their bodies force them to have them so often.

My mate hesitated to give me an answer almost like he was afraid of what my reaction would be. I'm not sure why I will always stay by his side.

“Do you know who I am Eren you know I'm a demon but do you know which one” he muttered out behind clenched teeth sounding frustrated maybe at what he was and how I didn't know.

“No I do not. I know you are powerful, not anyone can kill a rutting dragon” not understanding what the kind of demon he is has to do with anything but being patient because that's all he's been with me.

Sigh “Eren my lux I just recently became King of hell before that I was a prince. I was the prince of hell and centuries ago I was an angel before I fell and my full name is Leviathan. I was made before all the angels. There was one other of my kind, a female made for me to mate but I felt nothing but annoyance of her. I became envious of the angels who found their true mate's while I was being forced onto one.

 I thought God had cursed me to not have a destined mate for my destructive ways and how I could not be tamed and I would not bow to his rules so he made me one just because he needed more of my kind. I was furious when she tried to force mate me in my sleep. I killed her in my rage. I angered God. I spat on his creation like it was nothing so when Lucifer rebelled against him I followed.

   It was not easy being fallen but I made Lucifer favore me and after my first few centuries of proving myself he bestowed me the title of prince of hell. It was fun at first, the power and the envy that was my new sin. After all that was all I felt. It makes sense how it became my sin and I would feast on it from the other fallen to the regular demons who felt I did not deserve my title.  There were attempted rebellions and all were dealt with in death.

If they did not see that I deserved my title I forced their hand. That's when I started my torturing of the damn souls, the worst of the worst. I would hold public viewings of it showing them my power and what would happen if they continued to do so against me. 

Over time it calmed down but only after angels came trying to purge the demons here free wrongly imprisoned souls. It did not work. I killed most of them and the others I actually talked to and turned them on their God by showing them what really happened that God is creator of all. He is the one that sends the souls to me that he does not care if it was them or if they did crime or not. As long as the gates of heaven did not overflow and he had control I could do what I wanted. 

I made more fallen. I had an army. They spread the word and more who felt wronged came to me of free will. A few more centuries of anger and killing in anger at actually falling cursing God for pushing me to that point It was his fault I was the way I was forcing a mate on me that was not mine.

I was lonely being in power and demons only approached me wanting to be by my side as my princess to lay with me for my seed and a chance at what my power was what I had worked for.  I buried myself in work and would shut myself away in my office for weeks at a time. 

Then hangi came she did not fear me she forced me out my office made sure that I ate and had fun that's why I could not let you kill her she's my best friend and for once I felt saved.  She's also the reason I even met you. I made a deal with her to be free from my responsibilities from hell as long as I brought her a dragon.

I do not know what she wanted one for nor do I care it brought me to you and I will forever be grateful which is hard for the sin of envy to feel. But when I heard your scream of terror saw the fear in your eyes my heart beat for the first time since I'd fallen and I had never felt anger not since God had not bestowed upon me a mate. Deep down I knew you were mine, my beast called to yours and before I knew it I was racing towards you to save you from your fear. 

And when I saw what was making you afraid of how you were being chased and hunted down for something you did not want so I burst into seething rage. Then somehow me and hell became one.  It accepted me in a way it did not even accept lucifer. It flowed through me like a river and hell had given me what God never did. He gave me a mate of my own, my destined mate that I thought I didn't even have that I didn't deserve because of who I was created to be by God's hand. 

I became hell itself to save what was mine to protect you my lux you shone bright as your eyes and you gave me my soul back and became my queen. What happened earlier was my fault.  

When I brought you to hell when we walked through the gates of fire and you did not burn, did not choke when you breathed in hell’s air but instead made it your power. I knew it was all true hell had accepted its new King and queen had named us as such. And all I could think is I will never be alone again. You became my light in the darkness. That was what my soul used to be. That's why I call you my lux. It means light in Latin which is what you are to me, what I want and need you to always be for me.

So if you can accept this stay with me, learn to live with me for who I am and what I've done throughout my life. You will never want for anything you will have nothing to fear. I will protect you and hell as you've both given me so much. I want an externality with you Eren forever with you by my side. 

I want you to fall in love with me like I fell in love with you. I want to give you a home and a family. I just want you so will you please stay with me.  He explained to me and I am reeling from what he told me a fallen, treason, murder and torture all for freedom from one prison to another free but not free.

I understood him perfectly. How could he think I would leave him to not love him and not want a family with him? This creature this beautiful beast wants to be mine wants me to be his and is begging me to stay.  The king of hell is begging me to stay. I love him and he is mine and I will stay by his side forever and an eternity. I would never leave and I would put his doubts to rest while telling him about me. He shared his story and he proved he was brave enough to tell me even in fear of rejection. So I would be too but I hold no fear of that or him and I never will. 

“Oh Levi, you are who you are and I do not care what you've done in the past. It made you you and you have done nothing but prove yourself as a mate worth staying with and one worth fighting for and I would never leave you. 

Do not doubt yourself as I do not. You did what you had to do to survive had you not you'd be mated with the other of your kind. Would you be happy? Would you fake a smile at her at every turn and spend an eternity in anguish giving what was ordered of you and not wanting what you needed or wanted. 

I am sorry you had to wait so long for me that you were lonely that you felt you had no one. I am sorry I tried and almost took one person who started to save you away and for that I hope you and her can forgive me. 

I love you Levi and I will stay by your side if you stay by mine. I have heard your story and accepted who and what you are now. Will you hear mine and accept me all the same? I asked for the same courtesy while reassuring him I was going nowhere. 

   I loved him and that I understood he did what he felt was right to be free even if it took so long for it to truly happen for him to be until he met me and I will forever be remorseful for making him wait but we will spend and eternity being together and in love to have children that we will live for and that will love us as we them.  We will no longer be lonely” now I wait for him to give me the go ahead to start.  

“ No Eren thank you my lux tell me your story but know it will change nothing if you can accept me what I was what i am then I can do the same because I see you and what you are. 

 I was never mad about hangi, just worried and I needed you to know that she's my best friend and as much as she pisses me off some part of me needs her to ground me. She will forgive you because she knows she was in the wrong”. He reassured me 

“I now have you and whatever family you give me and for that I am grateful and as you have given me your love I want to say I love you too eren my light my reason.  You have listen now I will too so tell me your story let me know more parts of you what made you, you today the eren that stands before me the most beautiful creature I've ever seen on the inside and out” 

“I am not just with you for your looks and body or because hell destined us I am with you for your heart because I see you and you are brilliant”.  He told me and that was all I needed to trust him with my story so I begin.

Levi's pov

After he accepted me so easily, listening gave me a chance to explain, to give love to me for what I am and I would give him what he was giving me. A chance at a forever of an eternity. Slowly he began to speak.

“Well you started from the beginning so, so will I.  I was hatched by Carla and Grisha Yeager. My father was a venomer or skull dragon, a venomous dragon who was also a chromatic dragon which was of evil alignment born from the night of the darkness. 

While my mother, my beautiful beloved mother, was a metallic dragon, a thorignir or Storm dragon she ruled the skies. She gave birth to hurricanes,tsunamis and tornadoes born of the god of dragons, one of the elements of a kind a portage , one of his direct descendants. 

I will never know how she fell for my father. He was a horrible beast and I hated him. I had two other nest mates. They were my best friends. I loved them as much as my mother. We did everything together. 

They felt they had to protect me. I was the only submissive in the clutch and the runt but they never bullied me for my shortcomings. My older sister Mikasa taught me to fight to defend myself from aggressive dominant dragon's who got too close to the nest when I was alone. 

  She was a poison dragon just like father but she only had enough power to stun you, not venomous enough to kill but still strong. My brother Armin taught me to read to out smart them if I could not fight. 

 He was a sky dragon but not a storm or as strong as mom. He was not weak though he could bend the wind and showed me to fly to my advantage to let it carry me to freedom.  

Then there was me. I was the strongest. Even being the runt I had both of my parents powers. I could breathe out a venomous poison so deadly it caused a chemical reaction when I would use my mother's Storm powers. 

I could cover archers in a fog of poison spread it through the air, choke my victims to death as they drowned on the inside. I was supposed to be my dad's portage but all I ended up being was a disgusting disappointment to him. I was supposed to be dominant. I couldn't even use my powers. My body wasn't strong enough. Every time he would force me to train I would collapse from too much strain.

My mother never knew and when he was mad at my failure he would sigh he would touch me inappropriately as punishment said if I didn't get my shit together he'd sell me to a dominant he owed a favor too to let me see what I was really made for that if I wanted to be a submissive and take it up the ass he would make sure I did at a profit to him.

When my mother finally found out she was furious she slapped him in the face when she walked in on him touching me he tried to keep me quiet but I was so tired of it I didn't like it it made me feel disgusting like I deserved it for being born the way I was. 

My mother was strong but she was weak at the moment. She had another clutch in her and Levi he beat my mother to death for trying to save me from his abuse and you know what I did. I froze up. I let my mother die because I was weak at everything my father told me I was. 

When he finally stopped when he saw all the blood on his hands when he saw she wasn't breathing he broke he begged for her to come back that he was sorry to please forgive him when he was the one who did it Levi it was him and he dared begged for our god's forgiveness to give his mate back. 

He was enraged he turned to me and but I was numb all I could do was watch as the puddle of blood surrounding my mother get larger staining the floor crimson.  He stalked towards me. I knew he was going to kill me and I wasn't even afraid of my death. I welcomed it. I would join my mother soon and I would be free from the abuse and the pain. 

But my siblings came home and walked in on him with his hands around my neck. Mikasa flew into a rage as had Armin who was usually so calm. They were my best friends Levi and Grisha was so lost in the grief of losing his mate of what he did and his denial and the fact that they were trying to stop him from killing what he felt was the reason she had died he…..he killed them too. 

 He started with Mikasa she was the strongest he lunged at her taking her by surprise we were so young we barely had our own powers. Armin wanted to help but she yelled at him to get me out of there to save me even if she died that she loved us that it wasn't my fault and he snapped her neck you could hear the crack echo in the room.

Armin and me screamed I finally made a noise sobbing as armin tried to get me out tried to drag me away but I was lost in grief my father that thing came back towards us making armin jump in front of me shielding my body from our father.

  He turned towards me and whispered so softly I almost missed it in my sobbing the last words my brother spoke to me he told me live eren you are bigger than this stronger than you think none of this was your fault we love you I love you now fight. 

He turned towards father and told him it was his fault that he was every bit of a monster as his bloodline claimed that he did not deserve our mother. Armin said to he calm like always.

 Grisha at all that was happened stop being my father, he stopped the first time he touched me. Even so he was still a full grown dragon, thousands of years old but my big brother died with a smile on his face because he knew I would live because his words gave me strength but it still didn't save him.

He still died for me and when his heart stopped i felt my heart stop too my world stopped. And just like Grisha I snapped, I fought , I raged and he felt it. I filled the room, forced the poison in his mouth up his nose and coiled it around him and made his eyes take it in. I drowned him in my pain and agony. 

I didn't stopped till he dropped to the floor but only when I let him go and Levi do you know what that bastard said to me before I made him take his last breath that I really was his son I was every bit a monster as him I was darkness and if he didn't deserve my mother than I didn't deserve to be birthed from her. I couldn't take it want he said because I believed it to be true.

I walked up to him, forced his mouth open, put my fingers directly in his mouth and forced more of the poison down his throat. And when his chest stopped moving I let go. I screamed, I cried , I ran to their bodies shaking them begging all of them to wake up, that they were safe, that I was safe, that I was strong. 

But I wasn't and they never woke up. All I could do was gently drag their bodies together and make it like my mother was cradling her hatchling to her chest like they were only asleep. As for Grisha I burned his body outside our home. I didn't want his filthy ashes in the room and his scent in the air anymore. When I was sure he was gone, nothing left of him I went back inside.  

I laid down with my family. I stayed there for days. Levi I was ready to die there to join them and when it started to smell even when I was starving I couldn't leave it was my fault it was always my fault. 

I wallowed in self pity saying if only I stayed quiet let him do what he wanted to do to me that they would still be here with me. It took me days Levi to remember what armin said how they died for me to live and that they loved me even till the end.

 I was done feeling sorry for myself so I got up. Even in death even as their skin paled and sunk in they were ethereal eternal they were home I kissed all of them on their foreheads hugged them one last time. I went and showered for the first time changed my clothes packed what I could and open the family safe took all of the money inside. 

 Then i took something from each of them to remember them by from my mother I took the key to her jewelry box from around her neck and grabbed the box, i took Mikasa favorite scarf out the wash and went to Armin's room and got his 5 favorite books and the one he had just finished writing and put them in my pocket space that my mother taught me and do you know what Levi I still haven't read my brothers book even though I promised I would be the first to he saved it for me not even showing our mother.

I had no appetite and the food had gone bad already so I didn't eat. I took one last look at my home, my family , my heart and left. I couldn't let scavengers find them and pick them apart so I set the house on fire and cried a river as it went up in flames. I prayed to a God I no longer believed in for them to find peace and I never looked back. 

I wondered for days on end not sleeping, not eating. I was wasting away and I didn't care. I tried to live off of memories alone to feed off that but it made me sink into depression. I was a zombie, an empty husk, a body without a soul when one day my body gave out and I collapsed not even knowing where I was. 

When I came to I was in a bed in a warm house with a homely feeling to it and everything hit me again. I was alone and I couldn't even live on for them even after their sacrifice. I was selfish only wanting to join them. My screams of pain must have brought the owner of the house rushing to the room. 

I saw a beautiful dragon. She was older than Garish and had more power. I was afraid but hopeful I would die now and be at peace seeing my family again but also disgusted by my thoughts. 

Her voice was like a bell and she spoke words of wisdom. She took care of me never telling me her name or how she found me but she taught me to control my power. She stayed with me and raised me but I never tried to replace my mother and she never tried to be her or my family. 

Though she was still important to me she taught me to love my memories that they were precious and that it was a disgrace to let them kill me because that is not what they were meant to do. They are my good times in my time of darkness, they are my hope that I could have that again. 

But all good things come to an end. She was old and she no longer felt the need to be on earth she was ready for peace and i was okay with that. She had no mate, no children to live for even so she still took me in knowing she wouldn't stay long. 

I never held it against her an eternity alone souned empty. Though she never did tell me where she found me and why she took me in if she was leaving but found I didn't care she had saved me. 

So when she asked for me to leave so she could pass alone that she did not want me to see death again I understood I stayed with her since I was one thousand when she found me and I was one thousand and sixteen when I left her to die by herself as she asked.

It was her last wish and I respected her enough give it to her. So I hugged her goodbye and wished her a safe trip to say hi to my mother and siblings to have a family and not be alone after.

 I started to leave when she took hold of me and kissed me on my head and said thank you to me " for giving me life now go live yours Eren. You have so much to live for you have a mate out there who will be everything you want and need and he will give you everything don't be afraid to love, don't close off your heart. 

 I finally understood why she took me and i was forever grateful. Her breathing started to slow and I knew it was time and she blessed me with her name. My name is Tiamat and you are strong now go find love go find your freedom”. 

I couldn't believe who she was one of the first dragon to roam the earth and she took me in and a single tear fell and I smiled so wide my cheeks hurt and I lost a God the day my family died but I gain a grandmother a new goodness and strength to carry on. With one last look I left her in peace feeling lighter than I had in years.

I was a nomad for another two years traveling the lands working on my powers growing them. I had accepted my rule as a submissive that I would bare my mate a family and I would protect my hatchlings and I prayed to my grandmother to my goddess that my mate would love me and our children if they be runts or submissive or even both, male submissive or female dominants. 

That we would be safe. Then the day I met you was one of the happiest days of my life I had found my permanent home the way I met you was less to be desire though I had sense you and your power I could smell your scent and it made me crave what it came from but still I avoided it and you because of how strong you were no matter how much I grew I still had a fear of strong dominants. 

I did not know you were my mate, only that I wanted to go to you. I was taking a break from trying to get you off my trail at a river wanting to bathe. I was barely halfway in the water when that dominant crashed through the trees and I froze again. 

I knew that horrible disgusting look as he gazed at my naked body. I hated it. It reminded me of before. I used a teleportation spell grandmother taught me for quick escapes with my clothes coming with me back on with my body by twisting the spell to do so. 

I tried to run but he tackled me to the ground but I wasn't going to lay and take it this time I would fight so I rolled us over and threw a few punches to get him to let go and a kick to keep him down. If only to buy me sometime to at least change forms. It took him mere seconds to catch up I screeched and pleaded for him to leave me alone. He did not

He was gaining on me. I was tired and scared of what I always feared was about to happen. I was about to drop when I felt you Levi you were running so fast towards me and headed towards you too. 

You were my hope that if you were looking for something, anything , a dragon you would see him and go after him instead. 

It was a gamble that I'm glad I took. I will admit that when I first saw your eyes I knew how strong of a demon you were. I feared my death. But it was better than rape and it would be what I choose and I'm sorry for thinking that of you. 

My body finally gave out that I couldn't keep myself in the air anymore. What was the point? When I landed I was proud though this time I fought, I ran , I screamed and even if I died even though I would never meet my mate have a new family I was going back to my first so I let myself fall to the black at peace.

You can't imagine my shock at seeing you standing over me and even more when you didn't immediately try to hurt me. The way you spoke to me so gently, so unlike your power. To offer your help to see more than the dragon I was , I couldn't help but trust you. 

So when I get your scent your full scent you can't or maybe you can imagine my relief and my happiness. I had found a new home. I knew I just knew that you would keep me safe and our hatchling safe and falling asleep in your arms was the best decision I've ever made Levi. Then when I woke up next to you when you took me home, I wanted to wake up every morning to your face to kiss you.

So never doubt my love for you and i won't doubt yours for me”. Eren ended in tears but the most peaceful smile on his face and I couldn't pull him into my arms fast enough. 

“ I'm sorry I'm sorry, " I repeated to him about everything he went through and how me being in the forest forced him to move around to that river to rest. 

“it's okay it's okay it’s not your fault you didn't know you couldn't have known you saved me Levi please remember that”. He assured me he loved me

“ Thank you thank you so much for being you for not giving up you are so strong my lux. Never forget that. I will give you everything I love you too Eren.  I whispered back as he cried in my arms. I swayed us side to side, holding him tight, feeling his heartbeat against mine. And let a few tears fall from my face.  

I thanked Carla and erens nest mates also thanking Tiamat. Thanked them for saving my love. I hoped they where at peace. That I would take care of him now. That they didn't have to worry anymore, to rest now. I thought of Eren's family.

“Let's get some rest, love . It's been a long day. We need sleep. You have a coronation tomorrow. It's time to rule and be free to start our life”. As I laid us on the bed.

“ Levi, can we start a family soon?” he said against my chest, tracing random shapes on me. 

“As soon as you want love as soon as you want” I told him and I would do whatever for him make love to him whenever he wanted if it would give him his hatchling his and our new family I swore to myself”.

“Thank you Levi I love you” with that his breathing slowed as he fell asleep I played with his hair and closed my eyes listening to his heartbeat feeling mine beat in sync with his. I then fell into a light sleep at peace.

Chapter Text

Third view
As the two mate's slept, in peace in each other's arms basking in the warmth that was their love. Eren curled tightly around Levi as Levi held him like he would never let him go. They were in this together and would have it no other way.

About an hour and thirty minutes later they awoke to a knock on the door. Levi was the one to answer knowing just who's scent was on the other side.

“What shit-win I was asleep for once” came from inside the room. Levi called out in annoyance he was being serious when he said he was actually sleeping even with his insomnia.

“Sir hangi told me you said we were going to have a meeting about the new queen's coronation. I need details on security and who is allowed in” Erwin said, barely talking as he probably heard the tale from Hangi, of their friends' new power and that of his queens. That they were not to be tested.

“We'll be there in twenty minutes, make your way to my office and make sure the council is there when we arrive. Oh and shit-win bring hangi with you. We have some talking to do about her earlier behavior. Eren would also like an apology from Hangi for what she did and Eren will give her same courtesy. Levi ordered Erwin and Erwin followed the order as given

You see Erwin was a samurai from the twelfth century who died by seppuku a painful ritualed death of suicide. It was the only way to regain his honor after what he did.

He chose to lead the warriors under his command into battle knowing they were outnumbered, causing up to twenty-five men to die. He had caused mass suicide of the unwilling. It was the samurai's way for Erwin's death to be of free-will to ratify what he caused in greed and atone for his sins and have a chance at an honorable ending. To think it was all just a ploy
to become Chief Shogun, the head warrior of the samurai.

Erwin had grown greedy; he believed he should be given the title of chief. As the Shogun they had, he thought had grown old and weak minded. He thought that if he could place blame for the warriors death, say it was on the current Chiefs command that they would see him as incompetent finally too old to lead and make good decisions.

If this worked the title would be passed on to Erwin as he was the second in command and still that wasn't enough to appease him. To further cement his plan he cut off his right arm with his very own katana seeing as he was able to weld his swords with both hands and would still be just as strong with his left.

When he went back he was met with one of the warriors who made it back who saw what he had done. But the Chief did not believe such a low ranking warrior to his second in command.

Erwins downfall was when the chief's daughter stepped out of hiding, blessing them all with her presence. As females born from samurai were seen to be truthful spirits.

That they had been blessed with the knowledge to call out deciate of human men and was given to them by their God Haciman, God of war.

So to be born female was seen as a great honor. They are seen as signs of good fortune as they are said to know the dedicate or their fathers followers. That was what she did: she told her father to save his life. Because if he was to be blamed for what Erwin did it would lead to his death.

She had heard from her handmaid of Erwins deception. She had heard the loud whispers of conversations that should be left unspoken from one of the handmaids who only knew of his plan by laying with him waking his bed. As the handmaid bragged how she would be the new Onna-Bugeisha wife of the Chief.

She heard from at least two different handmaids about this. As they would always fight over who Erwin favored more which of them he would choose.

Confused, she discreetly began following Erwin around the samurai quarters. She listened and she learned of horrid plans. Of the death of good warriors of the plot against her father all for power.

She would not allow this, not the warriors and not to her father. Though she listened though she learned she did not hear all. When she realized it was too late she did not know the days the warriors would set out. Knowing she missed her chance to save them she would not forgive herself if her father died of her foolishness or another man's greed.

As she the chief's daughter told this story with the warrior, a living witness from said battle, the Shogun had no choice but to believe.

Erwin was caught and there was no reason to cry. He made this decision as a warrior and he would die as one and by it. He kneeled at seiza-style to his chief and pleaded death by honor. Erwin was a fool though old the Shogun was wise and did not harbored ill-will of this man.

The Shogun understood a man trying for power as was the way of the samurai. Though the chief did not gain his title by deception as Erwin would have, he knew the pain of bowing to another. This is why he was a Shogun; he saw all and he was reasonable with his decisions.

Erwin would die but with honor as he so begged. He would die the samurai way as he gave his life to it. Seeing what he had missed in his greed all Erwin could do was apologize and thank the chief for his mercy.

Handed a short blade by the warrior that survived his mistakes he turned the blade to his belly piercing through flesh and slicing upwards through his stomach for a fatal wound. He fell.

With a blood oath from the crimson flowing from him. In his last moments Erwin soaked his thumb in red. He dragged it out the blood forcing a print on the unspoiled ground.

Then swore he would not be a creature of deception he would earn his position. With that his hand fell splashing in that crimson pool.

That reason is why Erwin is now head of security and general to the army or Chief as he likes to call it. Though he was now a demon for his wrong doings and he would live with and live in his decisions. He swore his oath in blood essentially making a deal with levi to be forever loyal. To earn his position honestly and he has so Levi had no worry of betrayal.

Levi's pov
Once I was sure shit brows got the message and would tell hangi and the council to meet us there I turned to wake eren up.

“Eren” I said shaking him “Love I know you're awake” knowing he woke just as me when the door was knocked on

“No I'm not” he mumbled into my chest trying to hide his face but I felt his smile.

“I feel you smiling on me Eren come on we really do need to prepare get you an outfit and you need to apologize to Hangi as she to you”

I heard him sigh “ fine I'm up but I want a shower and clean clothes I'm not going out to meet demons when they can smell what we did” I looked down remembering what we did realizing that we did smell like sex and I wanted no one to smell that on my mate.

“Your right we can shower and change though I will have to have a maid bring you something” I say hinting at us showering together

“Will they be worn already” he question in disgust with his tongue sticking out making a sour face

I followed right behind him with out the face and tongue “ fuck no eren that's fucking disgusting like I would do that to my queen” I scoffed at him with a scowl on my face perturbed by the question and image.

“Ah I knew that I was just testing you yeah that's what I was doing” eren said with a nervous laugh twiddling his thumbs together looking adorable

“Sure you were go get in the shower I'll get one after you” sigh I guess he didn't hear the we part of shower

“I thought we were showering together Levi” my sexy mate purred out sashaying to the bathroom curved hips swaying putting me in a trance with my eyes on his ass again hair trailing behind him.

“Gooood” was Eren's last hissed words, his eyes lost its gold and became a mixed beauty again. Levi kept his appearance to show he was still upset but calmed now that Eren handled the problem in an orderly fashion. The king was pleased by his queen.

“This meeting is done Erwin you are head general you figure out security. Me and my mate are retiring for the night, Hangi I want the coronation to be befitting of eren, an ancient. My mate and your queen make sure it is to our liking and have another outfit ready for eren and me as well”. With that Levi grabbed Eren's hand and pulled open the door. Once in the hall they ran down the hall. When all of a sudden eren burst into tears.

“Eren” Levi whispered, already knowing what had him so upset.

“It's okay my lux what they think of you and what Nile thinks means nothing. People who do not deserve you think. Don't deserve your tears.

“ Do not let them see this side of you. You are strong and I am so proud of you for how you handled yourself in that room”

Levi cooed at his mate trying to calm him down not liking when he cried tears of sadness of defeat of hate for himself he wanted to kill Nile again make him suffer more than what eren did.

Wanting to drag it out and torture his soul peel his skin make him feel his and hells wrath bathe in his blood and set fire to his corpses. But he didn't because eren needed to know he had power that he could protect himself in the face of ridicule and look it in the face and rip it from its roots make them see let them see who hell choose to rule who their king choose.

“Eren I love you” Levi said with his very heart as Eren let out heart wrenching sobs trying to wipe his tears away tugging at Levi's very heart and soul in pain at erens distress.

“I love you too leviiii” he continued to sob out chest heavy trying to hold it together. Placing his hands on his chest as if in pain.

“Levi it hurts my heart hurts levi..I can't I'm not I'm not strong like you no matter how hard I try I don't know what to do. Why do people always judge me? Why am I never good enough? Tell me Levi do I deserve you do not lie to me” he choked out in a whisper admitting his fears, what he always feels, what we'll take years for him not to feel.

“Love you know you're enough for me, you know you're strong, you just proved it and you've proved it before and you will prove it again. Do not doubt what is mine. I will love you, don't give up on yourself. Don't give up on us you promised eren”.

Levi said calmly ending in a plea eren had promised he would stay. Told each other they were enough as long as they had each other. That they would be okay. That wherever they where, they were Levi and Eren first and he would hold him to that.

“ I'm so sorry Levi please don't be mad I'm not breaking my promise I don't doubt you I doubt me but I told you i would not leave you just just hold me please” eren sighed out exhausted

“Right in the hallway where the maids can see me kiss your face and shower you with love is that what you want my lux” Levi said as he pulled eren in his arms pressing kisses all over his face trying to get his mate to smile, to laugh.

Eren giggled as Levi kissed his face kissed his lips and what he said about being in the hallway but doing it anyway all for him.

Levi gently gripped erens chin and mumbled”I love you”

With that Levi pressed his lips firmly on erens.

Levi settled his hands on erens hips no further. It was not the time for lust, it was the time for comfort and he would give his mate that.

Eren placed his hands behind Levi's head gently running his fingers in Levi's hair lightly scratching at his undercut.

With that you could hear the door closed as the King and Queen stepped into the room and closed themselves in their nest for the rest of the night.

Eren pov
It's time, it's really happening. I said looking into the mirror in my dressing room. I wasn't allowed to change in me and Levi's room because hange wanted it to be a surprise to levi. At the moment when Hangi suggested it I was all for it. Then I realized I would be without my sjach to protect me.

The only good thing was Hangi was the only one allowed to help me get ready as Levi did not trust anyone else after Nile. To be honest neither did I. Also Hangi was fun to be around. Though she was indeed bat-shit crazy as Levi would say to me when describing his best friend.

After we apologized to each other yesterday, hangi pulled me into a bone crushing hug to let bygones be bygones. I must admit I appreciate the sentiment of it all. It made me feel warm. Hangi was like a crazy big sister and it brought tears to my eyes to have one again

Now it was hangi with the tears going down her face and snot which was gross. So I handed her a tissue and decided not to tell Levi his friend almost got her snot on my dress when she tried to hug me.

My dress was beautiful. Hangi had done it again and in such little time which is weird seeing as she was a doctor before. At Least that's what Levi told me but he said it wasn't really his business to tell what happened before to get Hangi and Erwin into hell. I didn't ask anymore, respecting their privacy no matter how interested I was in their stories.

Maybe one day when we are closer we will all share with each other. I look forward to that day. For Levi's friends to be mine. I'm nervous and the dress is heavy like the weight of this coronation on my shoulders. I don't know what is going to happen but I will be ready.

Me and Levi talked until I fell asleep. He held me all night as we sang our song. We kissed we loved without passion and physical intent. It was peaceful, it was tender and it was them. It was Levi and Eren. I know I will always have that and that is why even though I am nervous I am not scared.

That's what I needed to hear to leave the room I breathed. I sighed, I wished and I walked out that door to a new life with my Levi, my mate, my sjach, my kothar and my king.

Levi's pov
This is fucking ridiculous. Fucking Hangi taking my mate from me. Saying eren needed to get ready for the coronation. Saying she needed to surprise me with erens dress fuck that he could have gotten ready here and I'd still be surprised. My mate is fucking beautiful.

I'll wring hangi's neck if something happens to my lux while I'm not with him. Eren can protect himself but yesterday was a roller coaster.

We found each other out of manipulation and terror. Though I should thank hangi for the first part as that was how me and eren met but fuck that fucking bastard of a wyrm that chased him.

We were accepted together by hell and then we laid in the same bed for the first time. We had our first moment of passion and it was one fluid movement that started our bodies as one.

We showed our power together. We fought about what he did and Eren was sorry for it too but I was never mad. I can never be mad at him. He was my eternity.

I looked to Erwin who would escort me to the ballroom where the coronation would be held. He opened the door and spoke his words not to his king but his friends and they were well received.

You my king now show them why. you and your queen were chosen for the throne.

Erwin now knew honor and he knew words for he had known me for a long time so I knew he knew what I needed to hear. I thanked him and made my way towards the hall to my queen.

Third view
Levi and Eren arrived at the hall where the event was held for the coronation. They both looked on in awe seeing another side to each other, looking at their allegiance. Seeing the royal they are named to be but still just being Levi and Eren under all the clothes it was still them.

Yes they held a title yes they held power over demons. At the end of the day after every meeting after every discussion and disagreement. They loved each other so they would have eternity.

Eren pov
Levi looked devilishly handsome; he looked every bit of a fallen angel who ruled hell and he was mine. My eyes traced down his body, not used to seeing him in such an outfit.
When we met. He was in jeans when and when we had the meeting, he wore jeans again but now with a dress shirt that was so different from his usual t-shirts. He looked like a kothar sjach, the true king of hell. I would make sure to be a damn good queen for him.

His pants were a charcoal gray in color slim on his legs but still tight enough to see the muscles in his thighs. The sides of his pants were lined with buttons until mid thigh where they stop. The button loops on the sides helped lace a dark gray shaded soft leather like ribbon through the pants in a crossover stitching them together.

The whole sides of his legs were lined with what seemed to be blood tree branches spreading out seeming like they were growing from his ankle up. The branches broke off like any tree would, making the design on the side of the lace fabric on his leg. Even under the crossed ribbon at the top. A dead tree of death on fabric.

His boots wear onyx black with handles on the side with the same leather ribbon but now it was thick and rough to keep his boots laced up and on his feet as they ended just under his knees. They gave him two more inches in height making him my exact, height seeing as I was five foot five while he was five foot three so we were even now.

His dress shirt was a pressed black smooth on a hard chest I wanted to run my fingers down. Over it was a dark green colored vest with a collar and a solid white colored cravat. The vest carried more of the blood tree branches growing out and threw the whole of the fabric. It was a firm stiff material still flexible as it moved with every flex of his chest as he breath, not confining him in it.

My King wore a floor length mantle that only dragged a foot behind him. It was a crimson red in all the fabric. It had a lace design of mixed colors at the edges. It was a perfect blend of onyx, charcoal gray with dark green curling around in a way a deadly dead rose bush with only its jagged thorns left.

The crown on his head was threaded in an intricate webbing of what were black thorns intertwined with each other. In between the thorns of the crown on his head laid small black angel-like feathers trapped between the vines of them.

The top made the appearance of horns making demons assume those are what the very horns of hell looked like dubbing Levi it's king.

He looked powerful
he looked dangerous
He looked like death
He looked like sin
He punished those who defied him
He was my mate, he was my sjach kothar, he was my king and I would be with him for an eternity.

Levi's pov
He was ethereal and I will always believe that. He was the very definition of beauty in a single body. He exuded power like I've only seen him do once and now he held it well. I've seen him dressed for a meeting now I would see him dress for his kingdom. The very hell he would rule by my side.

Eren was in a gown this time that flowed to the floor around his black flats clad feet with a peep toe showing red painted nails.

It was honey gold in color topped in lace that looked like it was dusted over the top of his body, almost hiding the fact that the top was gold. The gown cinched at the waist and flared out from there where you could actually see that it was indeed gold.

He had on a feminine mantle that reached a foot behind him to drag on the floor. Being in flats and me in my boots made me and eren the same height which I was very pleased about.

His mantle was a onyx black that had a dragon scale print in the same smooth rough material his last dress from the meeting was. Its scales seemed to shine on the black of the material when the light hit the mantle just right.

Hints of charcoal Grey and red like my thorns lined the black of the scales highlighting. The scales also did without the green that line the thorns of my mantle making erens his own.

He had a medium sized gold band on his head that sat right under his horns and feathers which he made stand up to show the band and more of his face as they are usually done in a veil.

It looked to be made of connected rocks of different sizes. With spikes that looked like lightning that also helped hold his feathers up. The bolts were not tall or wide, just the right size to be comfortable against him. He was born of the earth and sky, the light and dark and he was finally embracing it as it stood on his head dubbing him queen.

He looked like beauty

Third view
“Wow” came out in the same breathlessness at what was in front of them of who their mate was and what their mate was.

“Eren”;Levi said “you look beautiful my lux you look like you were born for this.

“ In a way he was. Remember what I said to you earlier when he was asleep about him being able to adapt to you to be with you. This is what it seems hell meant when it gave you each other,” Hangi said, reminding her short friend king thing.

“You guys think it was written by hell. Before I was born , I was made for Levi. That's not how it works. Dragons don't get their mate until we hatch our mate's and then our mate's scents help us recognize its them but other than that we do not know” eren explains about the dragon's confusion about what Hangi and Levi were talking about. He knew Levi was always saying hell chose them but not fully grasping the full meaning behind his words.

“What she means eren is that hell had written in its depths that we would be together by hell's very soul and power. Hell is definitely more fair, far more fair than the God above. Yes it is for sinners and yes it has fire and death.

It is also a place of refuge were the thrown away come. That the bad try to find salience in what they now had. And they have by trying to atone for what they've done by living their human life even in their punishment the right way. To know what they could have had, had they not committed their sins. It's a tragic reminder but a new opportunity.

“Yes, some of them keep their evil and do not agree with hell's rules and with mine. But there are those who want to live their deaths making up for what they lost in their lives by their self made crimes” Levi told me making more sense to me but that can't be all why hell chose me and Levi what is so special about us.

“I understand that part about hell and how it is fair but why did it choose us levi why you and me specifically there must be another reason than that” eren said trying to show Levi that they didn't have all the pieces to the puzzle.

“I may also have an answer for that as well my lovely rulers” Hangi started to explain.

“Will my hypothesis is that it was your sorrow it was the pain that you both went throw that hell believed you would be perfect together that you needed a new life were you where in control of what happen to you where you had the power

“I don't know your story eren but it must have been bad you must have given, been thought nothing thought unworthy, you must have lost, you must have been killed for survival, you have lived with the pain and you must have found a way to let go. But you were still tortured still hurting still seeing your past still believing you were nothing but a monster not worth love

“I know Levi's story and I know that's what he went through. Hell knew and as Levi said it is fair. It saw your pain and sorrow, your hurt, your lost memories. It saw that you needed power, that you were tired of not having control of letting everything and everyone stand against you. It saw you both. It also saw what you did and what caused it to seek retribution for the crimes you committed. But it gave you everything you did not have in your wretched life it gave you in this one.

“It gave you power, it gave you control, it gave you someone to share your pain with. It gives you a chance to have what you've always wanted. At least that is what it is for Levi. It was love and acceptance for someone to want and need him for who and what he was.

“From what I see from you eren and how you reacted from what Levi told me about how he found you I say you have a problem with dominant creatures. So I'm assuming something bad happened also you were all alone when you're so young to leave the nest there was no mother, no father and no hatch mate's.

:So I would say that your father was abusive and you lost your real family. I don't know who found you and started saving you but I know you called for levi. Hell saw all it heard all and it knew two broken souls needed someone of their own to put the pieces back together. By only finding something worth fighting for.

“You were made for each like God ,Hell can see what its creatures will go though the ones abandoned by the one above. Even though you were both born of God's, you both have fallen for freedom. Hell saw you as its children and it saw you as worthy. You are ancient and you will be an eternity with each other

Whew ""I hope that all makes sense because I'm not saying it again and we have a coronation to get to chop chop fallen and poison”.

With that Hangi headed to the hall and waited for Erwin so they could push the door open. They were asked to get the king and queen ready, bringing them to the hall and announcing their arrival.

As soon as Erwin reached, Hangi he put his hand on the opposite handle she held and together they pushed the door open for their new King and Queen.

“Silence! rang out causing the room to quiet down as they recognized the samurai general that was in charge of their army.

“Bow for your King and his Queen! Hangi announced their entrance as everyone bowed knowing not to mess with the crazy doctor not wanting to be her next experiment.

Levi entered the room first as he calmly pulled Eren in behind him. As they stood still by their thrones they gazed out waiting for Erwin and Hangi to close the door so they may speak and sit in their seats.

As the doors were slowly pushed back closed by both their friends you could hear the hall echo with the sound of the door shutting keeping them all inside until the coronation was over.

Now don't be confused this is no normal coronation Levi and Eren are already crowned king and queen hence them having their crowns on their heads. To tell you the truth they do not know where they came from. Somehow they just knew it was their gift from hell to them as a welcome.

No, this coronation was to show all the lesser demons and remaining council that they are the ones in power, not them, especially not the council who thought they controlled Levi and now try to control his queen.

Levi would not allow it. Would not let eren go through being used for other people's gain again. While he knew what the council thought of him he always knew even as prince he had a connection with hell. It was just never this strong and now that he thinks about maybe hell was waiting for Levi to find Eren so hell could give him its very power to give Levi power and give eren power too.

With the doors closed Levi brought eren to his throne a mixed colored throne that blended the very colors of him together in a spectacular display for all their subjects to see.

It was gold at the legs and as it spread. It became mixes of ocean blue's and crystal teals like his scales. More gold blended in as it headed to the top of the throne where it headed beyond the top of erens head to majestic golden feathered dragon wings that spread out like they were caught in mid-flight. Almost looking holy for such a sinful creature

While Levi's throne was colored solid charcoal gray with the same onyx blood tree growing from where it looked like the throne was rooted to the ground. The branches fanned out of the sides of the throne now curling at the head only to wrap around blacked angel's wings as if trapping them in mid flight as Erens were free in mid flight.

Levi's throne represents the dark that he is that he was caged. But now his wings were breaking free from its twisted branches and light always causes the darkness to let go.

Eren's throne represents poison spreading through his colors tricking you into only seeing his beauty when he is forceful and he steals your breath. Because don't you know the most beautiful creatures are the most dangerous. It also represents how he is still free, how he will fly for his darkness and like the gold in his eyes that is bright eren will bring Levi to the light.

They somehow knew these were also a gift to them from hell as Levi had never seen these thrones in his time in hell and he never had one before, not even as prince as he saw no reason to use one as he was not one for large gatherings no matter his position.

Levi gestured to eren with his hand catching him in the eye “these are now your subjects to make them rise to your voice force your power on them crowd the room as you so do” Levi's look spoke all and eren answer by turning to the still bowing crowd and told the raise to respect that he also makes decisions now and they will do as told by him.

Erens pov
Levi wanted me to give my speech first. That bastard didn't even tell me I would need one. I guess that was his plan to get me to talk from my heart and not my head. He better be doing the same thing. Who am I kidding? Levi probably forgot until Erwin told him before we came out like hangi had to tell me.

Here we go, just like singing, I began speaking what felt right. I sighed out and started talking at the words flowing out my mouth like they were rehearsed.

“Rise to me as I am your queen

“Listen to me as I have power over you

“Respect me as you would your king

“Insolence will be met by your death as you choke on your words of ignorance

“You will do well to be wise in how you see me I am poison and you will fall by my storm

“Follow the example of your council member Nile Dok and meet his fate. His death was due to his mouth and you will do yourself good not to run yours

“Don't think of me as weak because of my role at your kings side

“Remember all and remember well there will be no king without his queen

“There will be no future bloodline without me chose right in how you feel you should approach me

I made sure to narrow my gaze, making them turn gold, my tail thumping the ground to demand all attention to me as I spoke. I held my head high and my back straight. My legs crossed just under my gown to show I knew my rule as the submissive but putting power in my voice to say I would be no push over and I would demand respect from them all and Levi.

Levi's Pov
Yeah I made eren go first because I wanted him to get it over with. Two so they would see him have power over me as I let my queen speak before me. Three I wanted to know what he would say as he did not prepare.

Also I forgot all about the speech until Erwin told me we would have to do one and figured out I forgot so he told hangi to tell eren so he would know and hopefully save my ass. But by the glare he was throwing at me it was not appreciated. Damn I'm in the hellhound pit again and I wanted to fully mate tonight. Maybe his irry will be gone by later tonight.

He dId great just like I knew he would. His speech was powering in his words in how he stared them down at how his tail drew all attention to him as he spoke.

And the whole room listened, they rose for their queen's demand. He did not make his voice harsh but still strong and his honeyed dark chocolate voice melted hearts but when hardened it could break you. If you tried to chew him thinking you could spit him out when done.

This time eren gave me a look other than a glare reminding me it was my turn to speak. I gave a sighing in exasperation and nodded to him that I understood. He let out a pleased smile and with that I did what my love does and I spoke from my heart knowing it would work because I learned it from my mate.

I began

“Hear my queen and hear him now listen to the words he has bespoke you

When I finished , the room was so silent you could hear a pin drop. So silent I heard the sound of an arrow piercing the air heading straight towards my queen. My heart stopped time stood still.

I thought I was about to lose him. It was coming too fast by the time I noticed it, it had already flown by my ear on its way to his heart. I still tried. They would not take him from me.

“EREN! I roared, still leaning over my throne, the very thing stopping me from reaching him faster.

It was slow motion when he turned his head at me and looked me in the eye. For a minute I was confused. I saw no fear in his eyes. Only a sick sense of amusement at what was about to happen to him.

Was he going crazy? Was his fear making him amused? Was he using that as a way to make me okay? I'll never be okay. I can't lose him, I can't lose my light. Please don't, haven't I suffered enough hasn't, he, haven't we been through enough.

He smiled at me not one of love but one of teeth like mine when I am angered and transformed. I didn't even know his teeth were sharp, his teeth jagged like my dagger ones. He is used from ripping apart flesh mime used for slashing through. We were so different but still the same.

He winked at me. I blinked and it reached his chest. My heart stopped and my breath punched out my chest. And you know what this shitty little brat did he caught the fucking arrow like what the fuck I'm over here having a damned heart attack and he caught the arrow.

Now don't get me wrong I'm happy he's not died. I'm overjoyed and it's like I can breathe again. I felt my heart beat, I felt it race, I felt it love. He was safe, he would live, he would stay, he didn't break his promise, we were still Levi and eren.

As soon as I saw he was okay I was not and I was seething. I was furious and I was out for blood and anyone in my way would die too.

Levi roared out loud his voice swirled and by the end of his sentence they heard hell in their king's voice. They saw it take over him as his wings unfurled from his back making him remove his mantle. Large black colored angel wings spread out filling the space with 8 feet of pure raven colored feathers showing he has fallen by the shade.

Two and a half feet horns grew from Levi's skull growing back up towards the air standing tall between his wings. His skin tinted black with slivers of silver racing threw out his body. His jaw forced open by his cutting dagger-like teeth ready to slice skin open and taste crimson.

Fire licked his body and he called forth twin blades bathed in the blood of the ones he had killed before his time in hell and it wanted more.

It blades made of ulterius durum chalybe. Forged to kill elder gods or titans. As they grew hungry for human flesh they were insatiable and did require flesh to sustain them as no god does no god fears hunger as they did. Their bodies were fat and their bones were thick.

They were mindless and only ate what they did not need. They were gluttonous, ravenous in the way they ate. They were given to Levi by the very god who now fears him. He had no use for God's fear but he did crave it. Levi wanted God to remember his name and welcome his death if he crossed Levi and would ve slayed by the very swords he bestowed upon him.

Levi was his first angel. He was the strongest, it was only right he sent Levi to kill titans and when the other angels joined they could not keep up with him and god grew angry at him again. For Levi was a show off, killing two hundred twenty-three titans when he was still only one thousand and one hundred twenty-five years old as an angel and in human years essentially Twelve and a half years. Not born a baby but created at an age where his mind was bendable not thinking him that strong that dangerous.

God did not create a mate for Levi; he needed a minion to do his dirty work to do the bad. He did not expect Levi to oppose him so early in his life that he god gave him. God thought that if he gave Levi a mate he would calm and be a good little soldier again following orders to do what God would not do to sully his name.

It backfired on him; he did not expect the envy. God did not see the death of his other Leviathan. His way to an army or soldiers, his control of levi.

He did not think Leviathan in all his irry towards God would cause him to fall. To betray him. Follow his son's betrayal. When he gave them both life and a purpose they should bow to him. They did not.

Now that Leviathan was gone and the other died, God saw no reason to create more failures. Though he now fears Levi he knows what he did to him.

God knows all. He knows when Leviathan became prince he knew when he turned his angels on him he knew when his deciate was brought to life he knew that angels would leave to seek refuge with Levi and he knew when Levi became King when hell gave him the one thing God thought he did not need or deserve.

Hell gave his Leviathan a mate. A strong mate who would help Levi grow. Who would bear Levi's succession. His revaluation. God feared that day Levi grew tired of his plans of being a pawn in a game Levi had already won.

How his Leviathan would one day slay him with the very swords levi used to slay elder gods to slay gods. That slayed the other Leviathan. Would cut him down and stake his head for hells subject to gaze on. The demise of the heavenly creator.

He was no fool god knew the only thing stopping Levi was how the world would fall into chaos. How hell's gates would overflow with forced sin. How more angels would fall. How the earth would flood with blood. Levi knew God knew. So God left Levi alone praying for the day not to come of Levi not caring if the world fell. Yes God feared that day. He feared it like no other, not even his son.

These swords where born of blood they tasted it, they drew it and they slayed those who he saw fit.

But Levi was still in a rage, he had fires lighting the room not listening to his mate and snarling out curses promising torture to those who tried to hurt his queen and that was his mistake. He was reprimanded by eren. In front of the whole hall showing everyone who held real power.

“Yes my queen I understand now and I will take my place” with that levi sat back in his throne. Drumming his fingers in aggravation at being yelled at not because demons saw but because he knew he was definitely not fully mating tonight, maybe not even sleeping in his own room.

Because Eren knew there was a reason and he knew what it was. Because now he also hears the voice of hell. As soon as he sat on his throne, Hell whispered from the moment of the lay of the crown on his head. He knew this child was forced by an older demon, one with status, as they imprisoned his friend as leverage to get the young demon to do their bidding.

He knew it was the council and he knew Levi didn't know as hell didn't tell him. Hell told Eren of this ploy for his head and told him he needed to prove his power to prove he could control even their king. If that did not say power they were fool's. As foolish as the council for taking hostage and making a child try to kill again.

Tried to make a child shoot an arrow through his heart a slow death to have for a dragon as it was one of their weak spots.
They would pay for it but first he had a child to reprimand as he had his mate and he would make it public. He showed himself of power and now he would show his compassion. He would win this court and he would do it with the grace of his creature on the hunt.

Then the child came out of the shadows. He was only a young boy, probably only ten in age. He had two-tone hair and had a defiant look on his face like he did no wrong.

“Levi we have to find Marco and you my kothar have a council to deal with”.

It rushed past me as it echoed on the walls, never seeming to stop distorting me, making my ears ring and waver in the air. I looked down to see Jean knocked out, still hanging on to Marco, both of them out in my arms.

I was following after them having gone through alot today getting ready alone, giving a speech I didn't prepare for, almost getting shot, Levi's rage and mine, hearing such a sad story from Jean about him and Marco my panic attack unconsciously letting out my power lettint my new wings out for the second time and using the for the first and finally hangi's screech.

I don't think I can hold on. I'm falling out the air, my wings trying to flap and keep me in the air. They slowly become too stiff to move anymore. Then I'm crashing to the bottom of the catacombs. My last words were a whisper of my mate's name somehow hoping he hears me and sees me falling.

“Levi catch me” I felt my eyes closing almost in the dark only to feel myself collide with something firm.

I know this chest, I know this scent. I felt strong arms wrap around me and the boys catching us mid air. I feel our descent to the ground having total fate in my mate to protect us protects me. I grab on tightly to Jean and Marco making sure they don't fall out of my arms as Levi hits the floor.
