Arin hummed to himself as he dumped a bag of flour on the counter, he'd gotten it from some farmers outside of the Crossroads, He was intending on using it for a new pie flavour he was working on.
Which would've been worked on if the loudest alarms in the world didn't start going off in the Monastery.
"Ow! what the heck is that!" He yelled covering his ears, "Sorry!" The door swung open with Lloyd there half out of breath, "I uhhh installed some new alarms into the Monastery to see if that alerts everyone to danger in the Crossroads" He coughed, "I um, didn't expect there to already be danger"
Arin blinked several times, "So...what is the danger?" That was when Nya walked over her face not looking happy, "Its not even a threat" Her eyes rolled and her arms crossed, "Its just those Administration people, you know writing out forms that don't even have any plausible effect on anybody"
"The main problem is that people in the Crossroads are getting increasingly annoyed with them" Lloyd sighed yet nodded, "Yeah, we should go deal with this" He started to walk down the hall with Arin running up beside the two.
"I thought they were bad the first time" The boy mumbled, "Can't we just wait for them to leave?" Nya scoffed at his comment, "As much as I'd love to do that" She said and pressed the button to open the elevator doors.
"People will probably attack them at some point if they keep this up" She drummed her hand on the wall as the elevator slowly went down, "What do we do with them then?" Arin questioned, looking at Lloyd for an answer.
"Anything that doesn't require fighting" He answered, letting out a puff in return, "I dont know about you but just seeing them in the Realm of Madness itself was enough for me"
As the three Ninja entered the dragon stables all the dragons inside looked up, Riyu being the first to run over, "Hey there buddy" Arin chuckled when the younger dragon licked his face in greeting, "We've got ninja work to do" The dragon chirped lowering down so he could climb on.
Jiro stomped over, his wings already opened to take off, "Lets just hope the Crossroads aren't in flames by the time we get there" Nya said, the Lightning dragon taking off and out of the stables exit, Riyu and the Mounatin dragon following quickly after.
The three dragons flew down through the clouds hiding the Monastery and leveled just below them, "So what ridiculous forms do you think they are filing?" She asked, making Arin hum.
"If anything probably for every single thing possible" The boy responded with a groan, "I dont know how it's not annoying" Lloyd chuckled at the point, "Like Zane said, gross incompetence" His eyes then squinted at the shape of the Crossroads in the distance. "it looks okay"
Nya followed his gaze with a small yet audible sigh, "Why didn't we bring Zane again?" Lloyd bit his lip, "Cole said that the Administration have a hit out for him to be dismantled, called him equipment and everything" It made him scowl a little, "They called Zane equipment?!" Nya yelled, the two boys cringing at her yell.
"UGH! Look I can try to be restrained but if they say it even once I will dump them into the closest river" Jiro made a chirp up to her, they were just travelling over the first few buildings of the Crossroads.
They flew down and landed on a building each to let the ninja get down from their backs, "And there they are" Arin exclaimed, There were several Administration agents with tons and tons of forms which were being handed to each and every passing citizen.
"Wonder what those are for" Nya said, landing down on the ground with a thud.
"You three!" Arin jumped when one of the agents, a person with afro like hair yelled at them, walking over, "Wheres your permission to walk around forms?" They all shared glances with each other, "We uh don't have those, hold on why are you even here?" Lloyd questioned the woman, who just frowned.
"I cannot tell you without a form to speak about plans" She turned and sped away still yelling at random citizens, "Great" The green Ninja huffed dragging his hand down his face.
"Oh! Wyldfyre said she was coming down here today, maybe she knows why" Arin pointed out to the two before coming to a realisation, "That is if she hasn't tried to fight them" A loud gargling sound burst out from the corner right before she skidded down yelling, "YOU CANT TELL ME WHAT TO DO!" The redhead yelled, fire flaring in her hands.
"Hey there Wyldfyre" Nya called over, the wild girls head shot up as she recognised them, "Oh, hey guys, who are these weird dressed up freaks? they keep telling me to get forms or whatever" Lloyd facepalmed, "Thats the Administration" He started, watching more agents walk around. "They put out random rules that are totally ridiculous and try to enforce it on people"
Wyldfyre gagged, "Gross" They watched as more agents appeared alongside one of the giant mechs, "Okay this is getting ridiculous why is THAT here" Lloyd groaned.
"Lets go before they get over here" Nya whispered, The group moving on before any of the agents spotted them.
As they walked through the Crossroads more and more Administration agents were seen walking through the streets.
"Its like the entire Administration is here" Arin whispered to Lloyd, who nodded slowly, "Yeah..." He walked over to one of the agents who looked like a Serpentine, "Hey, why are you all here?" He asked the snake.
"You ssssee, our bossss inssstructed usss to expand our effortssss to the other realmsss" the Serpentine started, "And ssso we have, ssstarting with thisss place" It walked off shortly after leaving Lloyd there.
"Huh, weird" Arin muttered walking up to Lloyds side, Riyu trotting up as well. "WHAT?!" The boy then yelled running over to a pie poster on the wall with a note attatched to it. "The annual pie festival is cancelled?! Because of the declaration of health and safety forms!" He gasped and scowled.
"Thats the last straw!" Nya giggled a little before straightening up, "Case of point, the Administration will wreck every single event unless we get them out of here" Her hand drummed at her chin, "But how..."
A green snout lowered from above nudged her back, "What the-" She sprung back water forming in her hands to attack whoever did it.
"Hello my friends" Arin perked up instantly, "Razar!" Sure enough the Raven was sat on the green dragons head, "Wow" Nya puffed, "You look different" He smiled flapping his wings, He looked little taller now and wore full body silver and black armor as well as a silver headpiece.
"How's your life as leader going?" Lloyd asked as Ajura crawled down to the ground, Razar still perched ontop her head.
"It Is going well yes, strange that we have all taken over as leaders of our tribes but we have grown used to it" Razar explained.
Arin walked up to Ajura and patted her snout, "Its good to see you too" He chuckled when she snorted air at him.
"It has really been a while since we saw you last" Nya said, Razar chuckled rubbing the back of his head, "We have been very busy yes, we have been up on Chima as of late helping with some of the repairs"
He frowned taking a form off the wall, "A few came to the Junkyard earlier, said it wasn't up to safety code and shut it off yes" Nyas head went to the side, "Wasn't up to code? but your tribe lives there!" He nodded grimly.
Arin then sprung up with an idea, "Eris knows a lot about paperwork right? why don't we ask her?" He glanced at Razar who chuckled lightly, "While I agree with that my friend, she's not here at the moment" Lloyd's expression went to confusion. "Where is she?"
Razar flew down from Ajuras head, the dragon sitting down to let her tail curl around her feet, "She's gone to explore the other Realms and fill up some information for the Eagles new library yes" Arin groaned, his hands slumping down, "So much for that idea" It was then did the Raven chuckle, "Come with me, I know someone who can help us"
They eventually walked a slight bit away from the Crossroads to a flat land of ground atop a hill, where low and behold, the Bears were.
"The Bears?" Nya questioned, "Dont they just...sleep?" Razar smirked flying over to Bladvic and tapping him on the arm, "Ah my friend, their sleeping has very useful ways of helping" He stepped back when the Bear sat up, "Oh" He yawned, "Hi Razar, what's up"
"We're having some trouble my friend, with that" He nodded his head down to where the Administration agents could be seen putting up posters, "Oh...them..we've seen them before" Bladvic stretched walking towards the Bear Beast. "Dont worry...we can handle it..."
Arin shuffled closer to Lloyd, "Does he look a little..fluffier to you?" He whispered, Lloyd saw that he did have a point, the Bear seemed a little taller, as well as sporting two golden plates on his arms, a brown shirt of some sort and gold plates on his legs, and yes he did seem more fluffy than last time.
Bladvic motioned them over, holding a orb of golden chi, "We've been...experimenting with the new chi, turns out it has some weird effects on us when we're asleep" Arin cringed stepping back behind Riyu a little, "What kind of weird effects?"
The Bear turned to face him with a slow blink, "Maybe...some strange powers of some sort, more things we can do in our dreams..." Razar flew down with a small chuckle, "It is perfectly safe my friend, trust me, but you might want to stand back" Arin instantly shuffled away the moment the Raven said stand back.
Razar joined them right as Bladvic fell asleep, covered with the usual gold aura one would get from chi, "He's just sleeping" Nya looked at the bird, who just had a smile on his beak.
"Ah, just wait" He said back, Shortly after there was commotion down below followed by shouting, Lloyd walked up to the hill to look down, "I- wow" He puffed rubbing his head.
The others joined him to see Administration agents dropping asleep where they stood, "How is he doing that?" Nya questioned Razar, who was stood there hands behind his back and a smirk on his face.
"The Bears have ways to make things move while dreaming, or in this case with the golden chi, use things to their own advantage yes" He opened his wings and flew over to Ajura.
"As for removing them, I have a way t-" He screeched when an electric blast hit him in the back sending the Ninja springing up.
Ajura spun around with a snarl at the attacker, "Stop right!....there..." A brown haired younger man paused at the sight of the now red scaled and extremely furious dragon.
Nya however shot up, "Jay?! what are you doing?! he's with us!" Jay blinked, "Yeah I'm Jay, how do you know that?" Lloyd and Arin shared glances, the latter slipping over to pull Razar into cover.
The former then leapt over to the Bear Beast, who'd been watching the whole thing and was on alert, "I need your help for a moment" He whispered, the Bear nodding once and getting up.
Lloyd gestured over to the Crossroads, "Think you can get your Beast friends to help round up all the agents?" The bear nodded running down the hill to do just that.
It was then did Nya come storming over, anger all over her face, "Did you get anything out of Jay?" He asked, but judging by the way she threw water into the nearest tree it was a definite no.
"He was dodging the entire time then ran off!" She yelled, her anger more visible in the way the nearby river was starting to rise.
Lloyd looked over at Ajura, the dragon sat watching over a just waking up Razar, then at the retreating distant Administration agents, "We need to follow them and find out why they aren't in the Realm of Madness" He turned to them all.
"They said it was because their boss said so, but I don't buy it" He turned to Razar and Bladvic, "You two okay to stay here and get everything sorted?" The Raven nodded, "We will my friend, do not worry" The two went off down to the Crossroads quickly after.
"And us?" Arin asked tilting his head to the side, "We go after them" Lloyd leapt up to the Mountain dragons back when it landed, Nya hopping onto Jiro.
"And we fight them right?!" Wyldfyre asked, her hands flaring up with heat, Which made him a little...nervous incase she decided to get angry. Especially since they were currently in the newly built Bear village.
"It may come to that if they don't cooperate" The two dragons took off to follow the retreating agents out of the Crossroads, because if there was a problem in the former Realm of Madness, it wouldn't be good coning from that place, at all.
