Revival

Summary:

Three years after the events of Slendytubbies 3, the Sun Goddess decides to give Laa-laa another chance at life.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

The Sun Goddess looked down at her small daughter, trapped under pillars. She twitched occasionally and made small incoherent growls. The Sun Goddess kneeled down to her level. Her daughter heard the small rubble move, and tried to escape the pillars and attack. The Goddesses hand began to glow slightly, and she placed her hand on her daughter's forehead. The small glow moved from the Goddesses hand to her daughter's body.

Her child closed her eyes and began to sleep. The Sun Goddess moved the pillars. After she woke, her daughter would be able to move freely. She would be free of her aggression. "Find your friends, and the one who watches over you." The Sun Goddess whispered into her ears.

The Goddess left afterwards, returning to the clouds.

Chapter Text

Laa-Laa woke up with her head pounding. The last thing that she remembered was Tinky-Winky scratching out her eyes. It hurt so much that she cringed when she thought of it. I can't see. She was slightly freaking out. It was expected, considering she has no eyes anymore, but she was still scared. She had no idea where she was. Laa-Laa obviously wasn't at the beach anymore, because of the rubble under her knees.

Is Tinky here? She wondered. Laa-Laa wanted to look around for him, but she couldn't. She got up from her knees and brushed them off. She wanted to go somewhere, but she didn't know which direction to go.

I might as well just stay here. Maybe someone else is here? Laa-Laa turned around, calling out to whoever might've been there with her. "Hello? Is anyone here?" She started to walk forward, but she bumped into something hard. It felt like some kind of big rock. She was about to find her way around it before she heard a voice. "Laa-Laa?" They had a familiar voice. "Po? Is that you?" Laa-Laa jerked her head up upon hearing the voice. "Yes! It's me!" Something soft hugged Laa-Laa. "Where are we?" Laa-Laa asked. "I don't know. There's a bunch of ruined buildings here, you should make sure to watch your step." Po said, looking around herself for a minute.

"Is Tinky Winky here? Or Dipsy?" Laa-Laa asked. "No." Po sighed. "Where are they?" Laa-Laa felt Po let go of her and grab her hand. She was leading her somewhere. "I don't know, but I've been waiting for you to wake up so we could go find them. C'mon." Po sounded worried for the two.

Po lead Laa-Laa to the mainland, assuming Tinky Winky was there. Laa-Laa knew they were back home when she felt the grass underneath her feet. "Let's get to the house. We can begin searching from there." Po said. Laa-Laa cringed when the strong scent of blood hit her nose. "What happened here? It smells terrible." Laa-Laa gagged. "Tinky Winky tire Dipsy's head off after he went crazy." Po replied. "But, Dipsy's head isn't here anymore. Neither is his body." Po was confused, but not surprised. Laa-Laa had left after her eyes were gouged out, and Po left after she was hanged. But how? We should be dead. She sat down on her bed, staring at Laa-Laa as she approached the blood sitting on the slide.

"I'll go look around for Tinky Winky. You stay here and wait in case he comes back here." Po got up, and left Laa-Laa alone.

I'm hungry. Is there anything to eat here? Laa-Laa knew the entire layout of their house, and walked around without a problem. She stopped at the custard machine. I shouldn't eat anymore of this. There must've been a reason why Tinky Winky broke it. She made a face at the machine. Laa-Laa went back to the slide. She sniffed at the blood. Maybe there's a chunk of meat here that Dipsy left behind. She was right. It was small, but still food.

Laa-Laa felt a bit bad for eating her partner's flesh, but she was hungry. She felt like she hadn't eaten in years. She was surprised to find that it tasted good. Laa-Laa turned around when she heard footsteps behind her. "I found Tinky Winky!" Po said, excited and oblivious to Laa-Laa's previous actions. "Oh, good." Laa-Laa smiled, but she wasn't sure who she was smiling at. Tinky or Po?

"He can't speak, though. Probably because of all of that screaming." Po sighed. Laa-Laa sniffed the air, and found Po and Tinky Winky had different scents. She assumed the sweet one was Tinky, and the one that smelled like pines was Po. She approached Tinky and gave him a big hug. His soft arms wrapped around her tightly, and she could tell he was smiling.

Notes:

they're cannibals(・_・;) also, they have animal-like instincts + just behave like animals overall.

Laa-Laa tore the meat with her long claws and sharp teeth. She ate it with a smile, which freaked out Tinky Winky. Po and Laa-Laa had no problem eating the weird zombie-like newborns, but Tinky Winky was more hesitant about it. He wanted to ask the others how it tasted, but he didn't know any sign language. Tinky Winky took a small bite of the newborn in front of him, and immediately backed away from it. It tasted rotten.

"Can we have it?" Po asked him. Tinky nodded, disgusted by the taste. Po took the nasty thing and shared it with Laa-Laa. They both made it look like it tasted delicious. These two are crazy. He thought, staring at them.

I do NOT miss Dipsy as much as I thought I would. He knew Dipsy would be just as crazy as them when they found him. He sighed. Why did the Sun Goddess make him the only sane one? He leaned back on the log that was at his back. Tinky Winky looked up at the sky. He didn't want to see Laa-Laa and Po tearing apart the newborn anymore.

"Where do you think we should look for Dipsy first?" Po asked after finishing her meal. Tinky Winky thought for a moment. He pointed in the direction of a nearby swamp. He didn't know why. "Hmm..okay. Let's go look." Po got up and brushed off her knees. Tinky Winky got up, along with Laa-Laa. Laa-Laa followed both of their scents, but she gravitated to Po's more. They reached the swamp quickly. Laa-Laa sniffed the air, catching a scent that smelled fishy and damp. She would've just assumed that it was the swamp if it wasn't in one specific direction. She followed the scent, Po and Tinky following close behind.

---

Dipsy heard noises from afar, and quickly hid in the water. The noises got closer and closer. He could now smell the Tubbies approaching his location. One smelled sweet, and another smelled like pines. The third one smelled like flowers.

Once one of the Tubbies got close enough, he pounced on them. She shrieked out of surprise. "Dipsy!?" A surprised voice exclaimed. Dipsy paused for a moment, letting go of the Tubby. He looked at the group, and realized it was his friends. "Oh. Um..sorry." He said, embarrassed. Po rubbed at the claw marks on her face. "It's okay." She laughed.

Chapter Text

Dipsy snuck behind Po, about to tackle her. Po was too busy talking to Laa-Laa to notice. Dipsy crouched a little lower, noticing Tinky was right beside Laa-Laa.

Dipsy jumped up and pounced, scaring Po. "AH-!" Po was tackled by Dipsy, making Laa-Laa laugh. Dipsy laughed with her. Po got up, brushing off her knees. She looked a bit embarrassed. "Just wait 'til you're trying to have a moment of peace." She said. Tinky Winky make a choked noise that resembled a laugh.

White yawned, already tired. He had about...two hours of sleep? He doesn't remember. He rested his head on top of Lenny's. He was currently watching Lenny work. "Tired?" Lenny asked, not taking his eyes away from the computer. "Yeah. Elara and Evelyn kept me up all night." White sighed. Lenny chuckled. "That sounds like them." Lenny typed something into his computer, but White understood none of it. "What're you doing?" White asked. "Trying to contact one of the satellite stations. They've been having problems with newborns over there." Lenny explained. From the looks of it, Lenny wasn't successful.

Notes:

btw Elara and Evelyn are White's daughters. They don't really play a huge role in this. Lenny and Anne are their other parents :3

This is a really short chapter because I needed to get something out and I just feel kinda burned out

Chapter 5: Chapter 4

Chapter Text

Laa-Laa hummed to herself while tearing open her food. She wasn't sure what Po had brought her, but it was tasty. She tore flesh off of the prey and ate it. She had never had meat before she woke up like this, just tubby toast and custard. She could feel it's blood on her hands and mouth, but she made no efforts to clean it.

She could hear Po and Dipsy talking about something, but at the moment she was too focused on her food to care.

She could just imagine Tinky's disgusted face. He always hated blood, and one time he fainted when he scraped his knee as a child. Laa-Laa always thought it was silly to be afraid of blood. She smiled at the taste of the meat.

Her ears perked up when she heard a noise.

She raised her head. She heard it near what she assumed was the forest. "Did you guys hear that?" Laa-Laa asked. "Yeah." Dipsy looked over at the forest.

"..I'll go check it out." Po said. Laa-Laa went back to eating her food, not thinking anything of the sound. It was probably just a Newborn making noise.

Tinky-Winky laid down on the grass, tired. He wasn't too worried about the noise.

He closed his eyes and tried to sleep.

Eventually Laa-Laa finished her food and cleaned the blood off of her fur. She curled up beside Tinky, smiling when he clung to her fur. They cuddled for a while, enjoying each other's warmth.

Unfortunately, Po came back panicking. "We need to leave!" She exclaimed. "What did you find?" Dipsy asked. "There's an entire hoard of those Newborns coming towards us!" Po explained. "Should we go back to the house?" Tinky-Winky raised his head up.

Po just nodded, glancing behind herself. Tinky and Laa-Laa got up, and they all quickly went home.
