Benny just woke up from his dream with Babe Ruth about saving Smalls’ ball from The Beast. He runs to Smalls’ house and tells him to get his ass up. It’s time to face reality.
The gang meets up at The Sandlot just like they do every day.
“Yeah, yeah, Benny, you can’t do that shit!” Yeah yeah says.
“The Great Bambino came to me in a vision!! I have to do this.”
Benny hops the fence and comes face to face with the Beast. Carefully, he grabs the ball signed by the Colossus of Clout and runs back. He jumps the fence just in time.
“You’re killing me, Benny,” the ginger one says. Everyone smiles in relief that he is not dead.
Just a second later, the Beast breaks free from its chain and jumps over their heads. A wild chase begins as Benny sprints for his life.
They run throughout the neighborhoods of the Valley. Benny tells the gang to wait for him at the Lot.
As everyone waits for Benny to pull up, a sense of dread grows within them.
Squints pushes his glasses up, “GUYS. The Beast caught Benny!!!”
Smalls begins to cry.
