"So, thank you for helping me get stronger," Chihiro says, "and for keeping my secret a little while longer. Mondo-" When Chihiro turns, Mondo's holding a weight in one hand. "Mondo?"

He lifts it.

And drops it into Chihiro's outstretched hands. It's so much heavier than he's expecting, nearly toppling him to the ground before Mondo steadies him with a surprised, "Shit!" Chihiro's eyes water, and he squints to stop himself from crying. He will be able to lift this, one day, with Mondo's help.

"Okay, so we start smaller," Mondo says, taking the weight back. Chihiro exhales in relief.
