Sun and Moon Show (and LAES and MGAFS) One-Shots (DISCONTINUED)

Summary:

Posting one-shots here to keep practicing my writing as a work on my bigger fics, requests welcome as long as you follow the rules and boundaries I set.

Chapter 1: Requests here only!! Rules!!

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

ONLY PUT REQUESTS HERE

for the sake of organization, please put requests in this chapter. If they are put in a different one, I most likely won't see it.

RULES and what I will/won't due

Characters: literally anyone in the tags, if you want to suggest  another character, ask me about it first since I haven't kept up with certain characters enough to feel confident writing about them.

the characters I feel most confident writing about are

  • Lunar
  • Moon
  • Earth
  • Sun
  • Monty
  • Solar
  • Eclipse
  • Foxy
  • FC
  • Gemini
  • Castor
  • Pollux

but this doesn't mean I am not willing to write other character, again, just ask :)

Relationships: same goes for above

  • I refuse to write Moon in romantic pairings, as an aroace person myself, having that representation in Moon, who's a major comfort character for me (both in this show and canon fnaf) who's also aroace is very important to me and I don't feel comfortable erasing that part of his identity like I've seen so much of this fandom do.
  • NO INCEST!! this includes pairings who may not be technically related, but still consider each other family, in my eyes, that still makes them family.
  • I am much more comfortable writing platonic or familiar relationships than romantic, but I am willing to do romance if you respect my boundaries listed above.
  • pretty much any pairing with any characters i've tagged is cool as long as it doesn't break the rules.

What I will do:

  • Fluff
  • Hurt/comfort
  • Violence
  • Sickness
  • Possibly self-harm/suicide depending on how I feel and what exactly you're asking of me
  • You can even request one shots based on my bigger fics if you'd like, but keep in mind it won't necessarily make it canon to those fics.
  • LGBTQ+ headcanons and themes (as long as it doesn't erase moon being aroace or monty being genderfluid, which are both canon and important representation that i don't feel comfortable erasing)
  • non-sexual age regressing (I might be willing to do pet regressing too, i'd just have to look more into it and see if it's something I'm okay with writing)

Won't Do:

  • anything I've already stated above that I won't do
  • Smut
  • Incest
  • sexual age/pet regressing

other notes:

  • since monty is genderfluid, if you have want me to use certain pronouns (sticking with they/he/she for now) and have them identify as a specific gender for your request, let me know, otherwise I may choose whichever i want.
  • i have the right to deny any request that I feel goes against my rules or I feel i am unfit to fulfill.
  • it may be hard for me to do romance as i myself do not experience attraction and often times have difficulty understanding it, but i am still willing to do so, just keep this in mind.

I may update this as I think of more.

Please remember that if you are unsure about a request, just ask! As long as you respect my boundaries, I'm happy to write just about anything :)

Notes:

if there's a specific chapter you'd like me to write a longer fic on, you may request it in the comments for that chapter, this one is for requests for new stories

Chapter 2: HEADCANONS :)

Summary:

Just some random headcanons I have, you can make requests based of off these if you want. Unless asked otherwise, I may include these in my writing.

Chapter Text

  • Monty is okay with being called Montgomery when feeling masc or neutral (still not preferred but they won’t get upset about it) but it’s an absolute no on feminine days.
  • Moon is partially blind in the eye on the dark side of his face, he can only see through it when the red light in it is on and he's in the dark + both eyes are sensitive to light
  • Sun still get’s anxious when the lights go off and it takes him a few moments to remember that old moon isn’t going to take control of him anymore
  • Earth’s hair can actually be styled like human hair, but is difficult due to how fluffy it is and how much she’s got so she almost always just leaves it down, but she wants to style it more often.
  • Lunar has a built-in speaker that can play lullabies for children at naptime, he’s even used it as a form of self-soothing
  • Moon had the same speaker too, but it broke at one point and he never bothered to fix it
  • Lunar is gender queer but hasn’t realized it yet and prefers they/he pronouns
  • Earth is pan
  • Sun is bi, with a preference for men
  • Lunar is pan demi-romantic and asexual
  • Lunar has autism

Chapter 3: Blind Lunar AU (preview of upcoming fic)

Summary:

Remember when Bloodmoon broke Lunar's arm and also attempted to rip out their eye but were stopped just in time? Well what if they weren't stopped soon enough and damaged both eyes? and what if Lunar being built in space meant some materials used were rare and made it nearly impossible for certain repairs to be done, including fixing their optics?

Here's the first chapter of a fic I have exploring these ideas, and if enough people would like it, I may even post the full thing as a separate fic

Notes:

TW: violence, broken arm/arm injury, eye injury, blindness, electrocution. description of robot eye injury.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

A searing pain shot through his arm and Bloodmoon cracked it nearly in half. Too focused on the pain, Lunar couldn’t stop the claws digging into his eye sockets, ripping out the light blue orbs, wiring breaking and coming with them.

Lunar screamed; the pain unbearable as they felt the wiring in their head get ripped apart as his eyes were pulled out of their sockets. He heard Bloodmoon’s dark laugh, then another voice he couldn’t place and the sound of Bloodmoon…being electrocuted? Then Earth was yelling for him to run, but he couldn’t bring themself to stand so he weakly crawled away, supporting himself with their good arm. He could hear Earth yelling at Bloodmoon, could hear the sounds of her fists against their metal casing.

He couldn’t see anything; the world was pitch black. The pain overwhelmed as they curled into themself, trying to block out the noises that were suddenly far too loud.

“Stop. It’s too much,” he pleaded, rocking himself back and forth.

Earth kept punching and kicking Bloodmoon, too angry to think about anything else, until the bloodthirsty animatronic ran off. No longer focused on the feral bot, Earth turned her attention back to Lunar. Her heart broke at the sight before her, Lunar curled up and sobbing. She pulled him into her arms, rocking them gently as she tried to soothe them.

When she knew it would be okay to move, Earth stood up with Lunar in her arms and carried them to parts and service.

The arm was an easy fix, Earth could manage that just fine on her own. The eyes on the other hand, those would be a much more difficult fix. Sure, she could place the eyes back in the sockets just fine, but the wiring was far too damaged to connect them.

Earth paced around, trying to think of a solution. She decided to call Monty, he knew Lunar’s body better than anyone else, even better than Lunar themself, so they might know what to do.

“Monty?” she said into her phone, “I need you in parts and service, Lunar’s hurt,”

She heard Monty make a noise of concern before assuring her that he’d be there right away.

Earth held her little brother’s hand, whispering comforting words to their unconscious body, glad she thought to shut him off before operating even in her panic.

The doors opened after just four minutes, Monty running into the room and straight into the cylinder where repairs were done. Earth explained everything that happened and how she was having trouble with Lunar’s optic wiring.

Her boyfriend inspected the wires, looking at them closely, “I’m sorry, babe, but I really don’t think this is gonna be an easy fix,” they sighed, “why don’t you go find Sun and Moon and explain what happened to them? I’ll call Solar and see if’s there’s anything he can do.”

“Okay,” it was all Earth could say as she slowly walked out the doors and made her way to the daycare.

She forced herself to explain the situation once again. Not even alarmed when Moon got, justifiably, angry. Sun reacting with a mix of shock and anger.

“I was able to fix their arm just fine, it might be sore for a bit but at least they won’t be in pain, at least not in their arm,” she assured them, “it’s the eyes I’m worried about, Bloodmoon ripped the wiring apart so we can’t just reconnect the wires. Monty tried fixing it but he couldn’t do anything either, he said he would get Solar to try and help.” Earth took a deep, simulated breath, worry for Lunar continuing to grow, “what if we can’t get his sight back? What do we do if Lunar ends up going permanently blind?”

Moon’s fist clenched tightly, “I swear to god I’m gonna kill Bloodmoon the moment I get my hands on them,” he threatened, unable to hide his anger.

“Let’s just wait a bit for Monty or Solar to contact us with news,” Sun suggested, knowing didn’t have enough knowledge in this departed to know what to do.

For the next hour, the sibling tried to distract themselves, first with cleaning, them games, although none of them were really in the mood for gaming, until Earth finally got a call from Monty, asking her to come back to parts and service and to bring the twins.

“Did you fix him?” Earth asked as the siblings ran into parts and service.

“Unfortunately, no,” Solar started, getting straight to the point, “finding the right parts to fix Lunar’s optics is gonna be incredibly difficult, nearly impossible even. As we all know, Lunar’s current body was built in space and many of his parts were created using materials from space, including his eyes, so fixing them won’t exactly be easy,”

“So, they’re permanently blind now?” Moon asked.

“It would seem so, or at least for a long time. Fixing them isn’t one hundred percent out of the question, but the chances are very slim,” Solar Explained.

“But what do we tell them?” Sun asked.

“I think it would be best to approach it carefully but straightforward,” Solar responded, “I’m gonna have Monty wake him up now,” Solar signaled at Monty, who flipped a switch, waking Lunar up from his shut down.

The first thing Lunar noticed upon waking up was that his vision was still pitch black, they couldn’t see a thing, they couldn’t even pick up on the lights. The next thing they noticed was Monty’s voice, speaking softer than normal.

“Hey, kid? Are you alright?”

Lunar tilted his head down, “I still can’t see… I thought I was gonna get fixed?”

They heard a sigh, it sounded like Solar, then Earth spoke up, “let me, Solar,” she said, then Lunar felt her hands grab his, her grasp feeling soft and comforting, he turned his head towards her voice. “Lunar, there’s something we have to tell you,” She took a deep breath, preparing herself for what she knew was going to be difficult for Lunar to hear, “we don’t know if we’ll be able to fix your sight, at least not for a long time. Your body was built using some pretty rare materials which means certain parts of you are going to be very hard to repair, and that includes your visual sensors.” She did her best to explain it as gently as she could.

The small animatronic couldn’t believe what they were hearing, so they might be permanently blind? They wanted to cry, and that’s exactly what they did. Letting out a choked sob as he felt himself get pulled towards Earth and allowed her to hold him close to her.

“We don’t know for sure if it’s permanent,” Solar tried to reassure them.

“Maybe they should lay down, they’ve had a rough day,” Earth put her hand on Solar’s shoulder, “we can talk about this tomorrow,”

Solar gave a nod of agreement, helping Lunar off the seat.

“How about you two stay with us tonight?” Moon suggested, as Sun made a noise of agreement, “It doesn't feel right to put Lunar back in that room and you still haven’t gotten a place to stay,”

“That would be nice,” Earth agreed, “what do you think Lunar?” she asked the small bot.

Lunar just have a small nod, reaching up a had for Earth to take, and she guided him to the portal Moon had opened.

Please let me know if you would like a full fic with this.

Chapter 4: KIDSCOVE BECOMES CANON IN VRCHAT?! (aka dom sun x sub foxy)

Summary:

Requested by Oddities_ARTful who asked for dom Sun x Sub Foxy

Summary: When Sun notices how tired Foxy is, he decides to take care of the single father who needs to be cared for just as much as his son, and then they confess their feelings and kiss.
Characters: Sun, Foxy, FC (mentioned), Moon (mentioned briefly), Monty (mentioned briefly)
Relationship(s): Sun x Foxy
I kept the dom x sub themes fairly light as this is my first time writing it and not really in my wheelhouse, so I hope that’s okay

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Foxy walked into the daycare, slowly dragging his feet beneath him, and turned towards Sun, who stood at the security desk.

“Hey Sun,” he said, trying to hide the exhaustion in his voice.

“Oh, hi Foxy,” Sun greeted his fox friend.

“Sorry to do this, but I gotta ask for a favor,” he sounded a bit awkward and Sun could tell he was tired.

“What is it?”

“Can you watch FC tonight? I got a lot of work to do and the kid requires a lot of attention so he’s been keeping me busy,”

Sun took a closer look at Foxy, and if he didn’t know better he’d think that Foxy somehow developed eyebags with how tired he looked. “Yeah, I’m not doing anything tonight so sure,” the daycare attendant agreed, “but are you okay? You seem pretty tired,”

“Me? Oh don’t worry, I’ll be fine,”

“Foxy, when was the last time you relaxed?” Sun took a step closer to Foxy, not sure why.

“Like I said, FC has been keeping me busy,” came Foxy’s reply, and that was enough of an answer for Sun.

Something compelled Sun to take Foxy to the naptime corner, and he did so. Grabbing the fox animatronic by the forearm, the tall yellow bot dragged him over to the napping corner that was still filled with pillows and blankets Sun had yet to pick up.

“You’re taking a nap here,” it came off more demanding than intended, but judging from the way Foxy quickly nodded, it seemed to be working.

Sun lowered Foxy down to the makeshift nest, kneeling down beside him. “Sun, I’m fine, I don’t need a nap,” Foxy insisted, although the fact that he yawned as he was speaking contradicted his words.

Sun just playfully rolled his eyes and pulled Foxy into a laying position, holding the shorter bot close to himself, though he wasn’t sure why he felt so compelled to do so. “You’re going to take a nap, and that’s final.” Sun demanded, although they kept their voice light, “if you do this for me, I promise to watch FC later so you can get what you need to do done,”

Foxy cuddled up closer to Sun, nuzzling his face in their chest, and Sun leaned down to kiss the top of his head.

“Do I make myself clear?” Sun asked.

“Yes, mommy,” Foxy muttered, then quickly realized what he said, face heating up. “Sun, I’m sorry- I didn’t mean to. It just came out and-”

Sun cut him off, “It’s okay. I don’t mind,” he reassured, “besides, I kinda liked it,” he added awkwardly.

“You did?” Foxy asked curiously.

Sun nodded, “but uh, let’s not tell anyone?”

Foxy nodded this time, “totally, if Monty found out I would never hear the end of it.”

“Same with Moon”

“Hey, Sun?” Foxy said, sounding unusually shy.

“yeah?”

“I think I like you…”

There was a pause, Foxy holding his non-existent breath, waiting for a response.

“…I think I like you too,” Sun finally responded.

“I mean romantically,”

“I know.” Sun took Foxy’s face in his hands, and leaned down until they nearly touched, “can I kiss you?” he whispered, the slightest hint of a commanding tone in his voice that made Foxy feel like he couldn’t deny the taller, even if he wanted to.

“Sure…” he nodded, and Sun leaned down the slightest bit, closing the gap between them.

The kiss lasted several minutes, being animatronics meant they didn’t need to stop for air. When they did break apart, they both looked a bit disheveled, “what did we do?” Sun asked, almost sounding like he couldn’t believe what just happened.

“I think we made kidscove canon,” Foxy smirked, giving Sun a wink, who playfully rolled his eyes and gave his shoulder a light push.

“Go to sleep now, or mommy won’t be very happy,” Sun winked.

Foxy nuzzled back into Sun’s chest as he felt long arms wrap around him, letting exhaustion take over.

He likes this commanding yet caring side of Sun, he likes it a lot.

Notes:

Sorry this is a shorter one, hope you like it anyways :)

Chapter 5: I Can Be a Better Brother

Summary:

Request by pipes_w1263: Can you do a fic where the celestial fam (Nexus, Old Moon, Earth, Lunar, Solar, Jack, and maybe dazzle) walk in on Sun about to kill himself and his arm is littered with cuts so the fam confronts him then comforts him.

Tw: attempted suicide, implied self-harm ( specifically, mentioned scars/cuts)

Making this an AU where they find away to bring Solar back without anyone getting hurt and Nexus doesn’t go insane, and they also bring back old Moon by using an old model. And this takes place after the July 16th episode so has spoilers from that.
To avoid any confusion Nexus (aka new moon/the one who went insane) will only be called nexus and old/original moon will just be called moon.

Chapter Text

Hand on the back of his head, gripping the wires tightly. All it would take is one pull, just one hard yank to end it all.

It was a bit absurd, Sun thought, that the very wires keeping him alive were just sat there on the back of his head, out in the open for anyone to grab. It was as if they were taunting anyone who stood behind Sun, saying we’re right here! Come on, just pull us out! And did Sun wish they would, he was honestly surprised he hadn’t actually died yet, sure he’d needed to get his body replaced and had been stuck in his own head, but actually die? He didn’t think what he’d gone through counted, after all he was still conscious through it all, his body was still in use.

He wondered what it would feel like to die, to just shut off completely. Would it be like going to sleep? Would he be stuck in his mind like he was back when Moon or Eclipse would take over? Or would he lack any consciousness at all?

The grip on his wires tightened ever so slightly.

He was ready, he thought, he’d been through so much and he was ready for it to be over. He just hoped his family wouldn’t be too upset. Maybe the joys of getting Solar and Moon back would distract them enough. He smiled thinking about how happy Earth and Lunar were in they saw Solar again, or how awkward Earth and Moon’s first meeting was.

It felt bittersweet, they got back two family members who had been lost, but were going to lose another. It was for the better, Sun decided, they might be sad at first, maybe even angry with him, but they would learn that he only did this to make them happy. It was in his nature as a daycare attendant, to look after others and make them happy, so he knew what he was doing, right?

His hand gave a small tug, not yet enough to pull the wires out.

He sat on his bed, his cats jumped up and curled up beside him. Should he shoo them away? They didn’t need to see this, but he so craved the affection, was it such a crime to want comfort in his last moments?

“I’m sorry,” he whispered.

His bedroom door flung open, Moon stood in the doorway followed by Solar, then Nexus, Earth, Lunar, Jack, and finally Dazzle.

“Sun?” Moon took a hesitant step towards his twin, “what’s going on?”

Sun froze, staring up at his brother, “M-Moon… you said you weren’t gonna be home until late,” Sun stammered, he thought he’d have more time.

“It’s 3 in the morning,” Moon sat on Sun’s bed, gently grabbing the arm holding Sun’s wires and prying his fingers out of their grip. “We’re you trying to pull these out?” he asked, it wasn’t accusatory, just genuine concern.

Sun hesitantly nodded, he new by now to not keep things hidden from Moon. The younger twin turned to the others in the doorway, “Can you give us a minute?” he requested and the others were quick to comply.

Once the door shut, Moon turned back to Sun, “can you tell me what’s going on?” he held Sun’s hands, giving him all his attention.

“I-I don’t know. There’s been so much and I’m tired of it all, I want to be done with it,” The yellow animatronic admitted. “I thought it would be easier this way,”

“Sun, I’m not going to deny any of that, I know it’s been hard. And I know this because I’ve caused so much of it, but killing yourself isn’t the answer, you know I’d just bring you back,” He gave a sad chuckle, which Sun copied half-heartedly, “and I would continue to bring you back no matter how many times you did this. If you need a break, which you clearly do, just let me know. If any of us made you feel like you had to go through such extremes just to catch a break, then I’m sorry.”

Sun sniffled, staring down at his lap, “I’m sorry too, I should’ve been honest about my feelings,”

Moon pulled his twin into a hug, Sun burying his face in Moon’s neck. “Don’t apologize, I’m the one who needs to be a better brother, maybe if I learned sooner you wouldn’t have gotten to this point,” he rubbed Sun’s back as he felt and heard him cry into his shoulder. “You’re taking a break from work, okay? I’ll pick up your shifts, and don’t say anything about me hating it, cause while I don’t like being a daycare attendant, I love you.”

They spent several minutes like that, just Moon comforting his twin. Until the lunar themed bot noticed his arm, “Sunny? How long have these cuts been here?” he lightly brushed his thumb along them, trying to figure out how old some of them were.

“Awhile,” it was all Sun could get out and Moon wasn’t going to force him to talk about it anymore, that was a conversation for another day.

“Do you want me to get the others?” Sun nodded weakly and Moon moved to stand up, “I’ll be right back.”

Moon stepped out of the bedroom and found the others waiting anxiously in the living room, Dazzle was the first to run up to Moon and he felt his heart break at how scared she looked.

“Moony?” she tugged on his pant leg shyly, “what’s wrong with Sunny?”

Moon kneeled down to the child, putting a hand on her shoulder, “Sunny is really sad right now, he needs you to give him lots of hugs,” he turned to the others, “he needs comfort from all of us,”

Dazzle ran ahead of the group, running into Sun’s room and tackling him in a hug, the oldest bot couldn’t help but smile as he held her in his embrace, she was always so worried about him, always wanting to make him smile.

He smile sadly at the others, standing up with Dazzle still in his arms, and taking a step towards Earth, you held her arms out to him, she always gave the best hugs, and Sun would let her hug him for as long as she could.

He then felt Solar and Nexus wrap their arms around him, and then Lunar hug his legs, if it weren’t such an emotional moment he might’ve taken the chance to make a joke about their height, but instead he sat on the floor, bringing the others with him, and pulling Lunar into a proper hug. Finally, Moon guided a seemingly confused Jack into the hug and they all sat there, hugging Sun as he let all his tears out.

When he was ready, he straightened up, the others breaking away from the hug but staying close. He kept Lunar and Dazzle in his lap, holding the two smallest close to him, feeling his protective instincts kick in upon seeing them so sad.

“thank you,” he whispered, “thanks for walking in when you did, I love you,”

The room was filled with “we love you” and “we’re sorry,” and most of all, promises that Sun would have to be so sad anymore.

By the time everyone started to leave for their own home/bedrooms, the sun was close to rising. Moon was the only one left with Sun, and he pulled him into a standing position, “let’s watch the sunrise, I know it’s you’re favorite part of the day,”

Sun nodded, letting Moon guide his shaky form to the front porch, and helping him climb onto the roof top so they could watch the rising sun together.

Notes:

Sorry this took awhile, I wasn't exactly in the right mental state to be writing something like this when I got the request and wanted to wait until I was doing better (which i am!) but i hope you like it :)

Chapter 6

Summary:

Monty helps Lunar come out as genderfluid to their siblings.

Notes:

As a genderfluid person, I love having that representation in tsbs through monty and ever since i read a fic about genderfluid lunar ive been wanting to write my own fic about it.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Lunar stood in front of the mirror, in the brand new body Monty had given her. She thought back to the previous week when she came out as genderfluid to Monty and smiled at the memory. She had been supportive but still teased the little bot, which was to be expected from the gator, but Lunar wouldn’t want it any other way.

Today was a ‘girl day’ for Lunar and would also be the day she came out to her siblings, showing off her new body for the first time. Monty had given her one much like her own where she could choose between her regular form or this new feminine one.

Monty placed a hand on her shoulder, assuring her that every would be fine.

“Are you sure?” Lunar knew she had no reason to worry, her siblings supported her through everything, and they were cool with Monty being fluid, so why would it be different for her?

As if reading her mind, Monty spoke again, “it’s okay to be scared, but I promise you have nothing to worry about. Sun, Moon and Earth all love you and they’ll support you no matter what. And if you decide to tell Solar, and the others too, I know they’ll support you too.”

Lunar felt slightly less anxious after getting reassurance, but still wasn’t completely sure, “but what if they’re disappointed? What if they get mad that I don’t always want to be called their brother?”

“Then they’re stupid,” Monty put it simply, “besides, I’m sure they’d love to have another sister. I know Earth would love a little sister and another girl to hangout with,”

Lunar smiled at Monty, “alright, I-I think I’m ready,”

“You sure? We don’t have to do this today if you’re not comfortable,”

“No, no I’m sure. I wanna do it now.”

Monty gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze and a reassuring smile.

Sun, Moon and Earth waited in Sun and Moon’s living room. Monty had asked them to wait there while her and Lunar prepared a surprise.

“What do you think they’re up to?” Moon wondered allowed.

“I don’t know, but I hope it’s not something reckless, you know how those two can get,” Sun replied.

“They know not to make messes, especially not around you, Sun,” Earth assured.

“Did any one else notice how nervous Lunar seemed when he got home? And he practically pushed me away when I tried to follow him downstairs to talk,” Moon pointed out.

“You’re right, he did seem rather anxious,” now that Earth thought about it, she realized Lunar’s behavior did seem a little off, and Sun nodded in agreement.

They all looked in the direction of the basement as they heard footsteps coming up. Moments later, Monty walked in, “y’all ready to see the surprise?”

The siblings nodded eagerly, waiting for Lunar.

Monty turned towards where the others’ assumed Lunar was, “you ready, kid?” she called out.

It was then that Lunar finally stepped out, looking at her siblings sheepishly as she showed of her new dress.

Earth gasped excitedly, “Lunar! You’re wearing a dress!”

Seeming to take it the wrong way, Lunar shrunk back, “I’m sorry, I’ll go change,”

But before she could leave, Monty held her in place, “what’s wrong?”

“They don’t like it,” she whispered back, but her siblings caught what she said.

“Lunar, we love it,” Moon assured, “You look very handsome,” he almost missed the way Lunar flinched at the word ‘handsome’.

“Why don’t you show them the rest?” Monty urged her.

Lunar took a few steps closer to her siblings and they could now see that her features were overall more feminine, with eyelashes and more prominent eyeliner, then she lowered her hood, revealing fluffy white hair, much like Earth’s.

Finally, she simulated taking a deep breath, “I have something to tell you,” she paused, almost turning away, but once again feeling Monty’s hand on her shoulder gave her enough confidence, “I don’t always feel like a boy. Sometimes I feel like a girl and sometimes it’s neither or something in between. I guess what I’m trying to get at is…I’m genderfluid, and today I feel like a girl,”

She closed her eyes, not wanting to see her siblings reactions. She was taken aback when she was suddenly enveloped in a hug. She didn’t need to open her eyes to know it was Earth hugging her.

“I’m so proud of you,” Lunar wanted to cry at her big sister’s words, “thanks for telling us,”

Soon after, Sun and Moon both joined the hug, “Yeah, we’re real proud of you, kid,” Moon ruffled her hair, causing Lunar to swat his hand away playfully and pull her hood back on.

“We got another sister!” Sun exclaimed happily.

“She our sometimes sister!” Earth exclaimed.

“sometimes sister?” Moon asked.

“Yeah, because Lunar is sometimes a girl, like right now, so she’s our sometimes sister and also our sometimes brother!” Earth explained.

Lunar giggled at her sister’s excitement, “I like that! Sometimes sister!”

“Does this mean you’ll be joining us for girls nights sometimes?” Earth could hardly contain her excitement at having a little sister.

“Of course she will,” Monty cut in, “can’t leave out our favorite tiny little girl,” she teased, laughing when Lunar stuck out her tongue.

Lunar sighed in content as she felt her siblings hold her, her little surprise for them turned out far better than she feared, and she couldn’t be happier.

Notes:

90% of this was written on my phone so sorry for any mistakes lol

im hoping to write more stories with genderfluid lunar cause i love them.

Chapter 7: AUTHORS NOTE

Chapter Text

Ok so I kinda abandoned this for awhile.

In all honesty I was kinda going through a bit of a depressive episode shortly after I started this and lacked motivation for months and also dealing with a lot of insecurities with my writing and being anxious to share any of it, especially when its something someone specifically asks for and I feel the need to make sure its up to their standards.

Im doing better now and feel more motivated to write but have decided to focus on the stories I am really passionate about, hence why i am closing requests.

If you submitted a request and have been waiting for it to be fulfilled, i will do my best to at least complete those.

I hope you'll check out my more recent works if you haven't as I am very passionate about those! And again, i will do my best to complete requests that have already been submitted.

Chapter 8: Mama Moon WIP

Summary:

It's been a while since I've updated this so I wanted to share a WIP I wrote that I might eventually make into a full fanfic. It's based on my AU where Moon sees Lunar as his baby and Lunar never gets taken out of Moon's head. The AU is called Mama Moon.

Chapter Text

Lunar was everything Moon was not. They were kind, small, cheerful, empathetic and full of innocence.

And yet, they were one in the same, Moon and Lunar, big brother and little brother, mama and baby.

‘Mama’ the word had rolled off Lunar’s metaphorical tongue so easily, wrapped in the swirling clouds of Moon’s own mindscape.

The gendered term didn’t bother Moon. Whether Lunar had said ‘mama’ or ‘dada’ didn’t matter, the meaning was clear: Lunar saw Moon as his parent, and Lunar was Moon’s baby.

So, Mama Moon it was.

It was funny, Moon hated kids. Some days he’d honestly rather unplug the wires on the back of his head than help Sun in the daycare, but there was something about Lunar that softened Moon. That little AI was a part of him, like another line of coding or an extra limb.

Monty had offered to build Lunar their very own body, Sun had even brought it up a couple times. Like hell Moon would ever allow anyone to take his baby away. Lunar was exactly where they needed to be, and Moon would protect them.

“They won’t ever take you away,” Moon had whispered as he rocked himself, “the world isn’t safe for little baby moons,”

Truth be told, Moon wasn’t so sure he was safe for Lunar. He was cruel and violent. He’d hurt so many people. What if he hurt Lunar too?

No. Moon couldn’t think that way. He was the one keeping Lunar safe, Eclipse may have created Lunar, but they were Moon’s baby, not his.

Just because Lunar was Moon’s baby didn’t mean they were safe. Moon knew that. He had seen the way the world treated those who were different, those who didn’t fit the mold. Lunar was one of those beings, a delicate balance of innocence and complexity, a fragile existence within the harshness of reality. Moon had to be their shield, their protector, even if it meant standing against everything and everyone, including himself.
