Chapter Text
The kitsune huffed as his master dismissed him and the Tanuki. They had managed to tie themselves to an annoyingly confident Kasa-obake who liked to open himself to show off a human body underneath his red parasol skin. The two have rarely seen him in his normal form; the kitsune theorizes that’s because it got ripped and now he can’t turn back.
Looking around the area, the kitsune realizes he’s stumbled upon a creek, burbling and bubbling as it flows down the mountain towards the town. He takes a seat at the edge, picking the leaves out of his hair. Ugh. Part of his and the Tanuki’s deal with the Kasa-obake was that they also had to assume his human visage; which meant adopting the hair and stiff uniform that he wore. Oh, and of course a red parasol. Tch. He rolls his eyes in annoyance once again, thinking about his current situation. That situation being the race for the witch’s hand. A purple haired witch had been coming by to talk to the Kasa-obake, and in turn met the Kitsune and Tanuki. They were both uninterested in him at first, not sure why their master was so interested in some random witch, rare as they may be; until the Kasa-obake told them the truth one night as they were sharing drinks.
“What’s so special ‘bout the guy anyway?” The Tanuki asked crassly, his face red from the saké the trio had been sipping on. He was the part of their ensemble that required the glasses, hiding the telltale dark marks under his eyes; one of a tanuki’s giveaway features. The Kasa-obake laughs loudly, exuberant in everything he does. It makes the Kitsune want to tape his mouth shut.
“Why, I’m surprised you elders couldn’t feel it!” He points and laughs, also definitively drunk. The animal yokai bristle, both of them well aware that ‘elder’ is not a compliment from their master’s mouth. “He is not just any witch! He controls a Gashadokuro!” The Kasa-obake waves his arms around as he announces it. The Kitsune and the Tanuki stare at him, jaws dropped. A Gashadokuro? In this day and age? How did this odd Kasa-obake come into contact with someone so powerful???
“You’re lying. You have to be.” The Kitsune pipes up, not as rowdy as his drinking partners. The Kasa-obake sticks out his tongue, longer than a normal humans could ever reach.
“I’m not lying! I’ll get him to come here right now!” The parasol yokai shoots up from where the trio was sitting at the table, stumbling a little as he threw open the screen door to where they were drinking that night. “Rui! Rui, I need your help! Rui—”
“You called, Tsukasa-kun?” Purrs a voice the animal yokai had never heard before. Out from the shadows of the garden beyond the house steps the tall, purple haired witch.
“Ruiiii!” The Kasa-obake, who had apparently named himself Tsukasa, the pretentious prick, drunkenly stumbles into an embrace with the witch. The witch, Rui, the Kitsune reminds himself, catches Tsukasa easily and looks at the animal yokai with interest. They both shiver. There’s a hunger in those eyes, deeper than they can fathom.
“Ah, and who are you two? Tsukasa-kun’s twin siblings?” The witch speaks lightheartedly, but the look in his eyes is angry. Predatory. “Or perhaps a conniving little fox and tanuki preying on my friend?” The witch’s magic washes over the area, making both the Kitsune and Tanuki’s control slip, losing their human forms. The Tanuki scampers behind the Kitsune, holding his paws over the leaf on his head; the Kitsune crouching and showing off his teeth in a growl. Tsukasa finally seems to clue into the less than friendly atmosphere.
“Heh? Rui, Rui, no these are the two I was telling you about.” The Kasa-obake gently slaps the witch on the arm as he stands upright. Rui immediately pulls back his powerful aura and bows shallowly.
“My apologies, you two. I was in the wrong for assuming anything.”
Tentatively, the Kitsune and Tanuki relax, resuming their human forms, identical to Tsukasa. The witch now seems much more relaxed, even smug.
“My, I must be quite the lucky guy. Three Tsukasa-kuns? All for me? Fufu~”
That was the incident that earned Rui the appreciation of the animal yokai, and started a three way race between the trio for Rui’s affections. The Kasa-obake already had a head-start, having known Rui for longer, but the witch seemed content to spend time with any of them whenever they asked. He’d also taken to calling them all Tsukasa, giving the Kitsune and Tanuki nicknames to differentiate them if all three were together.
Only one of them could follow Rui into town, that was the one rule all three yokai agreed on. Because they all looked identical, it wouldn’t be hard for the small town to put together that something supernatural was happening. So to keep suspicion at a minimum, they took turns going into town while the other two stayed in the house or in the forest, where the Kitsune was now. He shivers, feeling a warm breeze on his neck. How odd, the trees weren’t moving with it.
“My, my, my, is that a cute little fox sitting all alone at the riverside? Why, I feel I must accompany him.” Rui’s sly voice rings out, but he never appears. The Kitsune simply closes his eyes, used to the witch’s incorporeal antics. Another warm breeze, which he now recognizes as Rui’s breath, heats the back of his neck, just below his hairline. “Aw, did I do something to anger my Tsukasa-kun? Why are you ignoring me, little fox?” The witch coos in the Kitsune’s ear. He resists a shiver, hunching his shoulders. He never knows what Rui’s up to when he seeks each of them out alone. It’s different than the trio going out to find him alone.
“I’m not ignoring you,” he announces to open air, hoping Rui hears him, “I’m simply just trying to enjoy the nature around me.”
“I haven’t seen you in town recently. I’ve been waiting for you.” And oh, if that doesn’t make the Kitsune feel amazing. Rui was waiting for him! “I wanted to talk to you about something I suggested to Tsukasa-kun and Tanukasa-kun.”
The Kitsune opens one eye. “Mmm, okay. I’ll bite. What is it?” He feels Rui’s hands on his arms and it almost makes him want to look around for the taller yokai, despite knowing he isn’t there. He steadies himself, he doesn’t want to come off as needy.
“I know you are all different entities, but I find myself quite fond of all you Tsukasas.” There’s that hunger again, the Kitsune shivers at the tone of it in Rui’s voice. “You all are quite charming in your own ways, and I can’t help but want all of you! The question is, are you willing to share me?” The smooth tones of Rui’s low voice make the Kitsune shudder, feeling Rui’s hands tighten on his arms. It isn’t threatening, it never is when it’s Rui. He may be powerful and intimidating, but the Kitsune is almost positive that he has no idea just how powerful he really is. Almost….
The Kitsune was confident that he could share Rui, that already do that well enough (and by that he means that the Tanuki and Kasa-obake argue about who’s turn it is half the time and that’s when the Kitsune sneaks out to spend his time with Rui.)
“I can do it. I’d worry about the other two.” He replies, condescending. Rui’s voice chuckles, and the Kitsune swears he can feel it against his back as though Rui was right behind him.
“Fufu~, that’s what the other two Tsukasa-kuns had said. Practically word for word.” The witch purrs in his ear, and the Kitsune can’t stop his disguise from slipping a little in surprise, ears and tail popping out as he feels Rui start to unbutton his tight uniform.
“Rui…?”
“Let’s test you, Tsukasa-kun,” the feeling of a hand stroking his tail, “you all like to brag, that’s a trait you all share. I’ll have some fun with you, and you alone; and if you don’t tell the others, it proves you can share!” The Kitsune would’ve loved to try and find a flaw in that logic, but the hand on his tail was making Rui’s offer sound incredibly appealing. He feels his fox ears fold backwards in pleasure at the simple petting motion and scolds himself for folding so easily.
“I suppose that’s not… mhmn-! Not a bad idea….” He holds himself back from moaning aloud as the hand on his tail starts massaging the base. He can’t stop the rhythmic wagging of it, and at this point, he doesn’t care to. He’s glad he’s seated on the ground, or else he fears he would’ve fallen in the creek from how weak his knees felt when the ghost of Rui’s lips are felt against his back. His uniform outfit is much too stiff for the raging hard on that he feels growing in his pants. He moves to unzip them, stopping as he feels Rui grab him. The touch feels so real, he checks once again that the witch isn’t actually there.
“Ah, ah, ah, my little fox. None of that. This playtime is from me to you. I’ll be doing all the work.” He feels a kiss on his forehead, a hand on his cheek, before Rui lets go of his hand. He barely gets a second to breathe before he feels a hand on his cock.
“Ah~! R-Rui it—! You can’t—!” The Kitsune tries to speak, but the combined feeling of Rui stroking his tail and dick at the same time makes his brain incomprehensible. He feels a mouth on his neck, sucking, licking, biting, leaving behind evidence of the encounter; as if just to prove that it happened despite the Kitsune being the only physical presence there. With Rui’s lack of body present, the Kitsune finds himself lost for what to do with his hands; clutching the grass to try not to loose himself to the pleasure. He feels Rui’s tongue trail up his neck, sucking hard on his pulse point.
“Mhm~! R-Rui, we shouldn’t do this, hah~ here. This part of the forest isn’t far from town…” The Kitsune trails off, feeling Rui’s teasing hands ease off. His ears fold back in worry. “Did I do something wrong…? Rui?” He gets no reply. Huffing, frustrated with himself, the Kitsune walks home in a fit; whacking his parasol against the ground as he walks.
Stupid Rui and his stupid magic. What was all that teasing for? Was he making fun of him? He throws open the screen door to the house, having finally arrived. It was about a ten minute walk, but his anger made it seem longer. Tsukasa looks up and grins deviously at him, having been penning idly.
“You look sad, Kitsukasa. Did something happen while you were out?” The kasa-obake teases, sticking out his tongue. It’s shorter than usual…. The kitsune tackles the imposter to the ground, tail swishing angrily behind him. His capture laughs as his hand tightens around his throat.
“My, I didn’t think you had it in you, Tsukasa-kun.” Rui purrs as his disguise burns away. The Kitsune feels his lips pull back in a growl, exposing his less human teeth.
“You left me there. Why?” He demands simply. At this, Rui looks genuinely remorseful.
“Ah, I had to deal with a little… ahem, problem on my own and uh, lost connection. By the time I picked it back up, you were gone.” The witch explains, his face flushed red. The Kitsune smirks.
“You were so horny that you lost control by jacking yourself off?” The Kitsune exposes, much to Rui’s plight. He starts to giggle, before full on laughing. He lets go of Rui’s neck, sitting back on the witch’s hips as he takes off his glasses and wipes his eyes. “That’s actually hilarious.” He grins at Rui, who returns it guiltily. The witch holds his hips and sits up, kissing the Kitsune’s nose.
“Let’s wait for the others to return home before we continue. I have an idea.” Rui coos, hugging the Kitsune close.
