Chapter 1: Oh fuck its all might
Summary:
um so i finally decided to just post my rewritten chapters its what i got so far so um yeah
Chapter Text
Izuku had just finished school and he’s already running. Seriously why is his life so unfair? Why can’t they just leave him alone?
“Deku! Come back here!” Tsubasa shouts out. Izuku doesn’t really know why Tsubasa is running, he could just use his wings. Oh shit maybe he shouldn’t jinx it.
Just as Izuku thought he got away and was done for the day, he turned the corner and ran under a bridge. It should be safe here It shouldve been safe here because next thing he knows he’s getting a mouthful of slime. Do these things always happen to people or just Izuku? Could these day get possibly worse?
“Don’t worry, I’m just taking over your body. It’ll be easier for the both of us if you don’t fight back.”
Okay so Izuku takes that back. Izuku desperately tries to get the goo off of him but it all feels like too much. The slime is deep in his throat and he can’t cough it up. He can’t die now, he has himiko and mom to get back to. He has to get back. Izuku is grabbing as hard as he could on the sludge villain. Please he has to get back.
“Have no fear boy for that you are now safe..”
What?
“Now that I am here that is!”
Oh fuck it’s All Might.
The sludge villain launches out an attack but All Might quickly dodges. As All Might rushes forward another attack is sent his way. All Might doesn’t seem to be worried though.
“TEXAS SMASH!” That’s the last thing he hears before he slips out of consciousness.
“Hey! Hey!” Izuku’s head is pounding and whoever this is, is slapping him. Can they stop? If this is Himiko he’s gonna- “Hey!”
Oh my god, can they leave him alone? “Hey!” Izuku slowly opens his eyes to see.. All Might?! Oh fuck. Right. He almost just died .
“Thought we lost you there!” All might says with a grin that looks like it’s permanently etched on him.
“All might? What the fuck?” Izuku says with wide eyes. Did.. All might just save him?
“Sorry to have gotten you involved in that fight!” Izuku is in awe of the man before him that he can’t even think straight.
“Well i’ll be going now!”
Izuku is snapped out of his thoughts and he reminded himself of the question he wanted to ask. “Wait All Might!”
“I have to go!” The man won’t stop walking now.
So Izuku does want he can only think of next. He holds on to All Mights leg.
2 hours later
Izuku went home that day silently. He didn’t want to listen to music like he usually does, it all felt too overwhelming. Hell, he didn’t even want to keep walking but he has to get back home or he’ll worry his sister.
After whatever the hell happened there, he didn’t really see the point to keep writing down notes anymore. He didn’t stop to write about any of the villains he saw walking down the street. What was the point?
All he ever wanted was to be a hero and that had been brutally shut down by his favorite hero. He can’t blame the man, he’s probably right.
When he finally got home, he found his sister lying on the floor. “Himiko.. what are you doing?”
“Counting how many dots are on the ceiling.” Himiko giggles.
“Goodluck with that.” and with that Izuku goes up to their room and shuts the door. He doesn’t wanna do much of anything right now but he has to finish up his homework. He just feels like sleeping forever.
Himiko can tell when something’s up with her brother. His posture changes, his eyes seem duller and he’s more.. If Izuku was in a good mood he would’ve joined her. She can’t just let this slide by, something’s up.
Himiko gets up to go walk to their room. “Hey hey!” Himiko chirps. Hopefully being cheerful brightens his mood?
“Hi.” Izuku grumbles from the bed with his face down.
“What’s up?” Himiko tones down her voice into a much softer voice.
“All Might said I couldn’t be a hero. Kacchans friends followed me.” Izuku says with a watery voice. His brother hadn’t sounded like that in a few weeks and it breaks Himikos heart. But wait. “All Might said what?”
Izuku stiffens. “He.. said I couldn’t-“ Himiko is struggling to keep her rage down so he doesn’t think she’s mad at him.
“I know. I heard what you said. I can’t believe he would say that! He’s the number one hero!” Himiko sneers.
“Yeah. Even the number one hero believes I can’t do it. I should’ve just accepted it when mom-“
“Stop. Don’t say that Izuku. He doesn’t know what he’s talking about! Remember Eraserhead? He practically fights quirkless!”
“Doesn’t change the fact he has a quirk.”
“So what? If he can do it, so can you.” Himiko sighs and walks over towards Izuku and sits on the bed while carressing his hair.
“Why couldn’t I just get a quirk?” Izuku sniffles.
“I’m sorry. You don’t need a quirk to be a good hero though.” Himiko continues before Izuku gets a chance to disagree. “What do you say we sneak out and walk around later? The fresh air might do ya some good.”
Izuku sniffles again. “Really?”
“Yeah. Maybe we can get you a couple of snacks while we do.” Himiko smiles softly.
“Thank you.”

Chapter Text
Inko loves her kids. She does! But lately she’s been trying her best to not accidentally lash out on her kids.
Her son coming home with injuries that obviously came from bullies while he lies and says he’s fine! How messed up is that?
Her daughter on the other hand.. was just scaring her.
She really tried to be supportive but drinking a bird’s blood because she thought it was cute? She wondered where she got that from.
But in the end she would never stop loving her kids because they were a little messed up. Right?
She’s already stressed out from work. She just hopes her kids won’t cause more trouble and stand up for themselves.
She knows that she’s working a lot more often but thats not because she wants away from her kids! It’s because.. she needs to work to provide for them!
Two kids are a ton of work! Not because shes scared of them or their too much work! … right ?
She’ll always care and love her children. No matter how messed up or low esteemed they are. But does that mean she has to be there?
A slight shiver goes down her spine. She shouldn’t have to feel like this about her children. She loves and cherishes them.. but why does she want to focus more on herself than them? Why does she want to get away?
“You like it zuku?” Himiko says while she opens up a bag of chips. Himiko and Izuku had snuck out at midnight to go get snacks to feel better.
“Yeah!” Izuku says with a smile mouthful of chocolate.
“So you feel better then?” Himiko says gently. She obviously didn’t mean to but the reminder made Izuku’s mood drop a little.
Izuku smiles if almost a little fake. “Yeah.”
“You’re lying.” Himiko smile drops. “Mom or about earlier?” It’s times like these Izuku hates that Himiko can read him like a book. Izuku wants to deny, he wants to say he’s okay. He doesn’t want to worry her, especially after she went through all the trouble to do this for him but before he knows it his eyes well up and a sob escapes.
“Why doesn’t she love us enough to be here?” Izuku quietly says shakily. His body is trembling and he doesn’t even feel it but Himiko drags him to a nearby bench. “Why doesn’t she love me.”
Himiko takes a deep breath. Izuku feels bad for making her comfort him. She probably feels the same way. She doesn’t deserve to feel the same and except to comfort someone else. Why can’t Izuku just-
“I don’t know.” From the corner of Izuku’s eyes he can see her tears well up just like Izuku’s did. “I don’t know why she couldn’t- didn’t want to protect us from dad. I don’t know why when he did finally.. pass, she hated us even more.”
“She hates us?” Izuku’s words escaped. He didn’t mean to say that but it felt right to ask. Even if he already knew the answer.
Himiko sighs and turns to Izuku and takes his chin up to make eye contact. “I don’t know.” Her voice breaks. Continuing while taking a grounding breath. “It feels like it. But if she does, I love you. And if she doesn’t, well she needs to get her act together!”
Letting out a watery laugh Izuku says, “Yeah.” Izuku wipes some of his tears and then some of Himiko’s and then turns to face forward. “If she doesn’t, do you think we can have that bond normal people have?”
“Maybe. Knowing your sunshiney self, of course. I don’t know if I can forgive her though.” She has a soft smile, it’s melancholic. A little bitter, too.
“You’ll try to?” Izuku tilts his head to face her. “You’ll try to forgive her?”
Her smile fades. “I’ll try.” As fast as her smile faded, it came back. A bit more bitter than before. “I still want that bond that normal kids have. Even if it’s crumbling.”
“Yeah.” Izuku sighs and faces forward again. “Me too.”
“Hey Izuku?”
“Yea-“
Before Himiko could ask her question, they hear a cry for help.
Notes:

Chapter Text
Pulled from his thoughts, Izuku heard a scream.
Shit! They know they went out to stop crimes but now that it was actually happening?!
“Himiko..” trying to cover the fear in his voice.
“I know.” Himiko sighs.
“What are we supposed to do?!”
“Uh stop them?” suddenly Himiko bolted and started running towards the crime.
A million thoughts were rushing through Izukus head. What if Himiko gets hurt? What if the villian is too strong? What if somebody dies? Why is he not moving? Why can’t he move? How was Izuku supposed to help Himiko in this situation? How was he supposed to save anybody?
“IZUKU!” Himiko growled. “This isnt the time to question yourself! Get over here!”
And with that Izuku started sprinting. He wasn’t gonna let his sister, the only person who understands him, get hurt.
Himiko was grinning from ear to ear as she got herself into more and more danger. She didn’t have a plan yet she was charging straight toward the villain hoping that she’ll knock the villain out.
Initially she thought, What was she doing? She isn’t a hero. Not with her villainous quirk. This isn’t what shes supposed to be doing. But it was so thrilling! She can’t wait to punch the crap out of this guy! She realized that Izuku wasn’t following her.
Realized that he was probably thinking that he couldn’t do anything.
“IZUKU!” Himiko growled with a bit more intensity than she meant to. “This isnt the time to question yourself! Get over here!”
From the corner of her eye, she could see Izuku charging even faster at the villain.
Watching him tackle the villain and actually starting to win against the man. She didn’t know if she was proud or terrified.
She knew her brother had to have picked up some fighting lessons from his bullies but she didn’t think he would learn this much and knowing how to dodge almost every move.
She felt almost sick.
She was always confident with her sassy attitude but.. Izuku brought this protective other side of her. She felt sick but prideful of Izuku. He managed to knock down a villain! It was just so much emotions she couldn’t keep up with.
“Izuku… oh my god.” letting out a small snort.
“Just what do you kids think you are doing?” an unfamiliar voice echoing from above through the alleyway making Himiko and Izuku shiver.
Aizawa is so done.
He just wants to get up and go home and cuddle with his husband. Not that he’d ever admit that.
He grabs a coffee and goes out to start patrol. He couldn’t shake the feeling that this was definitely gonna be a long night. He decided he would start with the alleyways tonight.
He was just about the skim over another alleyway when he caught sight of two kids running towards a villain. Seriously. Why do kids think they could rush in without any sorts of training?
He decides to go on the rooftop to get a better vantage point. Ready to step in because he’d knew if he’d jump right in somebody was gonna get hurt.
He was rather conflicted on how he could feel so impressed and irritated at the same time.
The kid with a head full of green curls had knocked the villain and used several different tactics to keep the villain down and had called someone else with blonde hair to pass him some kind of restraint.
He saw as the blondie scoured through the garbage next to them and eventually passed some type of rope to the green one.
“Just what do you kids think you are doing?” He saw the kids shiver and he couldn’t help but let a small smile peek through.
It was funny watching them be so ruthless turn into an absolute mess when they heard him.
He had to strain his hearing to hear the whispers “-iko Lets go!” with nods of the blondie.
“Not so fast.” as he tied them both with his capture weapon.
Well shit.
Not only had he just defeated a villain but he just got caught by Eraserhead! THE Eraserhead! Izuku didn’t know whether to feel excited that he was meeting him or if he was terrified that he just caught them!
“So. What do you guys think you were doing?”
Izuku stiffened. “Meeting with an old friend?” with a fake confident smirk on his face.
Himiko let out a snort that distracted Eraserhead long enough that left an opening to Izuku.
Izuku kicked Eraserhead in the groin and picked up Himiko and bolted as fast as he could. He really should thank kacchan for his practice. Bakugo. He should thank bakugo.
“Uhh zuku..? did you really just kick your favorite hero Eraserhead in the..” Himiko letting out a quick snort. “balls?”
Everything all processed at once and he came to an immediate stop.
“Holy shit I did! Himiko what am I gonna do? I feel terrible! Should I go back and apologize?” trying sputter every thought he could.
“Zuku. Relax. We would’ve been caught if you didn’t. Thank you. Also you can let me down now I can walk!” as she tries to get down from Izukus arms.
“Ah! Right sorry.. I feel terrible though. Maybe we should make it up to him and bring a mugger to him!”
“That might be the smartest or stupidest thing you’ve ever said! Let’s do it!” with a stupid grin on her face.
Naomasa didn’t really know what to think when two kids called 911 saying “Package delivery!” while a man dropped down from the ceiling.
“Merry christmas!” and he heard two kids giggle. It was the middle of the year. First he thought they were a prank caller but when a literal criminal came from the ceiling, he didn’t know which was worse.
Well obviously delivering a criminal was worse but still! These kids sounded around 12-14 years old!
“New vigilantes in town?” Eraserhead announcing his presence with the statement.
“What makes you think that?”
“Tsukauchi. A criminal was delivered by some random people.”
“Children.” Naomasa corrects him but he notices Eraserhead eyes widening when he said that.
“What? What is it?” Naomasa asks tiredly.
“It’s nothing. Just, I also met these kids that took down a criminal.”
Naomasa sighs heavily. “You think those kids and these ‘vigilante’ ones are the same?”
”Doubt it, but there’s always a chance.”
”Should we make a file?” Naomasa rubs the bridge of his nose. He really does not need vigilantes to deal with right now.
”It’s the first time they’ve appeared. Maybe they’ll get some sense knocked into them by their parents.” Shouta states with sipping his coffee.
“Yeah, okay. Let’s hope they get the sense knocked into them.”
Izuku and Himiko climb back into their room giggling like children. Himiko immediately grabs Izuku and brings him to the bathroom and brings out a first aid kit.
Izuku sighs and smiles. They were silent for a good 10 minutes until Izuku spoke.
“I can’t believe we just committed a crime.” Izuku whispers.
“Wait. What?” Himiko stops cleaning the cut Izuku sported on his hand.
“Vigilantism. We stopped a crime and fled before the police came.” Izuku pauses and then smiles sheepishly. “Tried to flee before they came anyway.”
Himiko pauses, clearly thinking of something. “Well then, by the law you are not technically vigilante.” Himiko then grabs a brush and a towel to get rid of any extra blood on his hair.
“How does that make any sense?” Izuku deadpans.
“Vigilantism is illegally using a quirk to save people without a hero license.” Himiko says pointing her finger up to make her seem smart.
“Ah so you’re the only criminal! Good to know.”
“Wha-“ Himiko falters. Slowly bringing her finger down. “Shit! I’m a criminal!” Himiko brings her hands up to her hair.
Izuku shushes her. “No. You’re a hero. We saved those people.” Izuku says brushing past her. “Maybe we can train just incase we find anybody in that situation again.” Izuku pauses and pulls out his phone to search something up. “We just barely made it out of that fight. We managed by me losing my shit over a bad comment. We can’t rely on that. ” Izuku scrolls a bit and Himiko rolls her eyes at how hard Izuku is thinking about this.
“How do you know theres even gonna be a next time? What if we get caught?”
Izuku pauses and clicks on something. “How about we clean Dagobah Beach?” Clearly ignoring her comment.
“That trashy place? Why?” Himiko gags remembering the stench.
“Well it wouldn’t be trashy after we finish.” Izuku says trying to mask his annoyance and how he won’t take no as an answer.
Clearly, Himiko recognizes his tone. She knows whenever he uses that tone he’s dead set on completing whatever task he wants done. She sighs. “Why are we doing this? Why dagobah beach?”
Izuku perks up because he knows his sister is sure to agree now. “Because that beach was beautiful remember? I miss it. Plus it’d be a good work out and we could maybe even spar there. We could set things up to use as an obstacle course or something.”
“And why would we need an obstacle course?” Himiko raises an eyebrow.
“Uh… For fun?” Izuku says sheepishly.
Himiko knows him far too well though. She knows what he truly wants to do. “Izuku.. You know this is dangerous right?”
Izuku sighs. “Yeah. But if it saves people, i’ll train as hard as I need to. It’s not technically illegal either.” Izuku smirks. “Atleast not for me anyway..”
“Izuku!” Himiko whines and throws a pillow at him while Izuku just sticks his tounge out.
2 weeks later
“Since when have you been.. When have you been able to run this long and not be out of.. out of breath?” Himiko pants bending over trying to catch her breath.
“Dunno. Bullies drill that into your brain i guess?” Izuku cocks his head to the side before his eyes widen at what he just said.
“What?” Himiko suddenly straightens up.
“What?” Izuku covers up fast. He forgot that he can’t just mention that casually. He told her they stopped. “Let’s keep going. We still have…” Izuku keeps his watch. “A couple of miles to go.”
“I get we have to run a lot but this is too much!” Himiko whines.
“Stop whining. Let’s go already i’m bored waiting here for you!” Izuku shoots back.
“You suck.” Himiko sticks her tounge out before blowing a raspberry.
“I’ll buy you snacks. Owe you for the other night right?” At this, Himiko beams.
“Let’s go then already!”
“Now who has the sudden energy?” Izuku laughs.
“Oh my god!” Himiko laughs at izuku. Izuku is lying on the ground fake-dead.
“You…” Izuku breathes out. “Are much more experienced with fighting than me.”
“Yeah i know! I’m awesome!” Himiko giggles while flipping her hair dramatically. “You know, for someone who left a guy looking like his face got smashed in, you suck ass at fighting.”
Izuku clearly deflates and Himiko realizes maybe she shouldn’t have made a joke so soon. “Okay himiko don’t get ahead of yourself now.” Izuku quickly lands a hit behind the knees to knock himiko down.
Himiko falls and lets out a tiny squeak. “Oops!” Izuku laughs at Himiko’s offended face when she realizes what happened.
Notes:

Chapter Text
“Izuku?” Himiko blinks wearily trying to wake herself up. “Wha..”
Izuku’s silhoutte rushes up to her and Himiko would be lying if she didn’t flinch. “Shh.” Izuku puts up a finger to her mouth. “I want to go out again, i’m going. Are you in?”
Himiko wakes up instantly after that. “You’re going either way aren’t you?” Himiko smiles smugly. Even if Himiko can’t see his face she can imagine the embarrassment on his face. “Yeah.” He breathes out.
“I’m going.” She quickly says while getting up to get dressed. “What if we mess up? It’s only been a month’s worth of training.” She says trying to get her tone low while putting her hoodie on.
“Since when have you ever been so pessimistic?” Izuku retorts.
“Whatever!” She sticks her tongue out even if he can’t see her.
Apparently, Sense did not get knocked into them because yesterday was the 6th time a criminal was dropped from the ceiling.
To make matters worse, Jett waltzed right in the police station. “Hey Eraser! You didn’t tell me how cute those little rascals were!”
“If cute is another word for annoying, then yes they were very cute.”
“Oh don’t be such a downer!”
Tsukauchi quickly walked in. “Another delivery from the two..” while dragging in a criminal who look disoriented.
7th time now.
“They should really get a name!” Jett said annoyingly enthusiastically.
“Yeah. Problem child 1 and problem child 2, there you go.”
Jett gave him a annoyed but teasing look. “Eraser! Im totally serious! I’ll ask them about what they want us to call them next time I stumble into them!”
“And if they don’t have a name?” Tsukauchi muttered.
“Well.. We’ll let the press deal with that!”
Shouta knew she was hiding a different answer behind those eyes but he decides he doesn’t get paid enough to care.
A month had gone by and their fighting styles have improved! They were some nights where they had worn themselves out too much but it didn’t bother Izuku too much.
“Dagobah beach is almost done. What else are we gonna use for training?” Izuku thought out loud while they both lie on the floor. They had just gotten back from a ‘patrol’ (Izuku loved thinking of it like that) It was around 4am and it had turned Sunday.
“Hmm. I’m not sure. We’ll just spar with each other until we can find another good training spot!” Himiko replied.
“Jett’s really cool isn’t she?” Himiko got the habit of thinking thoughts out loud as well.
“Yeah! I didn’t really know her well until we met her. She’s such a cool underground hero.” Izuku can’t help but say positive things about her.
“We should try to join her on patrols? Whaddya think?” Himiko says while holding her arm up as if shes trying to touch the ceiling.
“Himiko.. Thats dangerous what if they catch us?” trying not to make his sister upset.
“She won’t!”
“You don’t know that.”
“Yes I do!”
“No. No you don’t.”
“Well I trust her!” while getting up to look at Izuku.
“Trust never gets anybody far! You’re stupid if you don’t realize that!” Izuku said that louder than he meant to.
Himiko looks at him with disbelief and another emotion that looked too much like anger? She was.. angry.
Why was she angry?
“You know Izuku. Trust isn’t stupid. Don’t take it out on me just because you lost your childhood best friend because of a quirk.”
Izukus stomach dropped at her venomous words. “What the fuck Himiko?”
Izuku gets up and stares at her incredulously. “Why would you say that?”
“Because i’m tired of you always self sabotaging and making things harder for yourself!” Himiko gets up too and has the nerve to look at him with disbelief in her eyes.
His gaze hardened. “I’m sorry I have issues. I’m not the only one.” Izuku gets up and decides to go for a walk.
“Izuku-“
“No.”
And the window is slammed shut.
He was walking and walking until he got far enough, when he spot the underground hero Jett. Jett noticed him before he could run away.
“Hey kid! I’ve been meaning to find ya!” Jett hurriedly walking toward the kid.
“Um.. why?” Izuku couldn’t help but pick up his pace.
“I wanted to ask you, what’s your name?”
The question surprised Izuku.
“My.. My name?”
“Yeah! Like what’s your vigilante name?”
“I’m not a vigilante. not by law.” Izuku realizes his mistake when he looks up to Jett looking curious. He forgotten that she didn’t know he was quirkless.
“And why is that?”
He didn’t know if he should tell her he was quirkless. He’s tired of lying. But is it lying if he’s just not saying anything?
“My name. It’s.. I dont know I only want to save people I dont want publicity.”
“Well ya gotta have a name for us heroes to address you!” she got close enough to ruffle his curls playfully.
“I.. wait to address me?” Izukus thoughts came to a halt. To address him? Why would they need to address him?
“Yeah dude! Here i’ll help you come up with one! Let’s see.. well you’re usually with that other kid right? The blondie?”
Himiko. Ugh he went out to not think about her. “Yeah. She’s my sister.”
“Cool! Well how about.. Disorder for you and Disarray for the blondie?”
He lets out a small snort. “Honestly. Yeah. I think she’d like that.” Izuku then pauses.
“Wait. Why am I Disorder?! I’m not- What!”
Jett just laughs.
Himiko was so angry. She was guilty. She was upset. She’s just feeling so many emotions. It doesn’t help that he had just left! Left ! She really wanted to go after him but maybe he needs the space.
She needs the space.
Seriously. For someone so smart he can be so stupid! But she felt a bit of guilt seeing his face. She saw something in him that she had never seen before.
Why would he think that trust isn’t worth it? Does he not trust her? What made him believe that?
Another part felt angry at their mom. It was her fault. Clenching her fists. She felt guilty about thinking this but it was so clearly her fault! She had emotionally abandoned them. She didn’t care. She left Himiko to take care of zuku. Not that she minds but still!
Just as she was about to slam her fist into a wall she heard the door knock.
She opened the door. Hopefully it isn’t murderers but she could probably take them down.
No. It wasn’t murderers. Why is the landlord here?
“Himiko Midoriya?”
“Uh. Yes thats me.”
“Are you Inko Midoriya’s daughter?”
Crap. What had her mother done?
“Yes.. what is this about?”
“Your mother hasn’t paid rent. This is a eviction notice.”

Chapter Text
“Evic-… Oh.” Himiko breathes out. “Okay. I’ll text her.”
“I’m sorry you had to be the one to pass this information on, I’ve been trying to get ahold of her.”
Himiko smiles but it’s a bitter thing. “Sounds like her. I’ll let her know thanks.”
Himiko closes the door and instantly collapses and sobs. What is she gonna do? How will she take care of Izuku? How is she gonna recover from this?
Himiko stumbles her way to the bathroom in a blur and pulls out a blade. It’s just to get her under control. She won’t make a habit out of it. She just needs to think right now.
She’s so frustrated and the blade is dull and not even making her bleed. She can’t even self harm properly, what can she do right?
Suddenly, she hears a window open and her heart sinks. Her eyes blur and she quickly scrambles to cover her mess. She puts the blade away and rubs her arms off. She hadn’t cut deep to make it bleed, it made her feel like it didn’t count but whatever.
“Himiko?” Izuku says in a small voice. Himiko almost breaks down right then and there. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it. I know you didn’t mean it either-“
Himiko couldn’t keep her sobs to herself and she let a tiny whimper out. Izuku, who has insanely good ears. “Himiko? What-“
She can hear him rushing towards the bathroom and she covers her mouth with her hand. “Himiko. Let me in.”
She chokes on a sob and unlocks the door.
“Izu.” She wipes her tears away. “We have to pack.”
Izuku’s eyes widen with confusion. “What? What are you talking about?”
“Mom she-“ Himiko sniffs. “She didn’t pay rent. I don’t know where she is.”
Izuku’s eyes become distant. “I knew it.”
Himiko is surprised by her brother’s words. “What?” Izuku sighs and wipes her tears away. “I knew she was gonna do something, I just didn’t know she would.. do this.”
“Izuku..”
“Come on. Let’s start packing yeah? Take a shower, god knows when we’ll ever get the chance to again.” Izuku lets a bitter chuckle out.
Himiko smiles softly. “Yeah. Thanks.”
“Mmm.”
Izuku and Himiko had left their house with a total of two backpacks. They couldn’t bring much but they atleast had some clothes and whatever food they could bring. Oh and their vigilante gear of course. They had to find a place to stay.
“Himiko.. I know we always roam the streets right about now but..” Izuku trails off.
“It feels different?” Himiko asks. Izuku hums. “Yeah. Its okay thought Izuku. We’ll be okay. Look we’ll go check that old warehouse over there yeah?”
“Yeah. Okay. Thanks Himiko.”
Shinsou Hitoshi was very protective of his house. Well. His sort of house. He made sure to make his warehouse to seem inhabitable to any other homeless people and yet.. he finds himself in this situation.
“Um? Hello?” One voice spoke out. Hitoshi immediately ducked down and masked his presence as best as he could.
“Shh izu! You don’t know who could be in here!” Another voice spoke. The other voice- Izu? spoke again. “Well! We have to find out if this place is taken or not!”
Hitoshi decides to try to speak up
now. “It’s taken.” He says in the most stern voice he could muster up. The two voices squeak in surprise and turn to face Hitoshi who had materialized from the shadows.
Hitoshi finally gets a good look at the two people? No, kids his age. One had pretty green curls and freckles dusted over his face. Green eyes to match. The other had blonde hair pulled up to space buns with spikes peeking out. Yellow eyes.
The green one spoke up. “Oh um! Hi! uhm sorry to um invade your um space.”
The blondie cuts her friend off. “Hi. Sorry to invade. Um are you our age?”
Hitoshi is caught off guard by the question. “Uh. I think so. How old are you guys?” Hitoshi asks.
The blondie points to herself. “13.” then points to the green boy. “12.”
Hitoshi responds by pointing at himself and saying 12.
“Are you.. homeless aswell?” Blondie asks.
“What’s it to you?” Hitoshi retorts. New comers are staying too long they should’ve been gone by now.
“Um- we have stuff! Can- do you think- Can we stay here for a bit? Just until we can find another warehouse or something? We have food, blankets, knives-“ The green boy stammers through out his sentence.
Hitoshi then processes the words. “Stay here?” Then pauses again. “Wait knives?!”
Hitoshi wants to tell them to leave, he wants them to just go. But… he’s starving. And they have blankets.
Hitoshi grumbles. “Fine. Stay away from me though. Share your food too.”
The green one lights up. “Thank you!” and Blondie nods her head in thanks.
“What’s your name by the way?!” The green one asks rather enthusiastically.
“I uh- Hitoshi.” Hitoshi mutters. The green one replies easily. “Cool! I’m Izuku! Thats Himiko!”
“Cool. Whatever.”
“Jeez who shit in your cereal?” Himiko murmurs.
“The fuck you just say?” Hitoshi scoffs.
“Himiko! Ignore her. Anyway, I have some snacks if you wanna share right now?”
“Uh.. sure.”
