Chapter Text

In the town of Water Seven Luffy is walking next to Nami holding her groceries as they collect supplies for Sanji to use to cook dinner later, when Luffy accidentally bumps into somebody causing their drink to spill on their shirt, Luffy's eyes widen in horror as he notices this and looks up at a beautiful girl that has long hair that stops at her back, who has her hair styled in long silver box braids, and is wearing a soft pink dress that now has a dark red stain on the top of it from the raspberry drink in her dark skinned hand. "SEAS I am so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going and I ruined you dress, my name is Monkey D. Luffy and I will be king of the pirates but I want you to know I didn't do this on purpose" Luffy nervously rambles his apology and is surprised when instead of being yelled at, he hears the girl who looks to be two years younger than him softly giggle. "It is okay the stain will wash out it isn't the end of the world" Harmony reassures Luffy smiling as she softly uses the napkin in her other hand to softly blot the stain. "Still I feel horrible about this please come to my ship it's flag is a skull wearing a Strawhat and the mast is a huge lion head, I know it looks like a flower but it is a lion's head my ship is called the thousand sunny" Luffy tells her feeling so guilty for ruining her dress.

Harmony sees that Luffy genuinely feels bad about what he's done so she agrees. "Alright I will come but can my crew come as well? I am the captain of the Silver wolf crew and my crew goes wherever I go, you're a captain like me so you understand right?" Harmony raises her soft silver curved eyebrow at Luffy. "Of course I understand I love my crew very much and talk about them any chance I get, as a matter of fact the beautiful girl next to me with shoulder length orange hair is my navigator she is incredibly smart and strong and keeps me on my toes her name is Nami and I am so blessed to have her on my crew" Luffy lovingly gushes about Nami.

Harmony sees a soft pink blush appear on Nami's face not expecting such high praise from her captain, and notices light brown eyes look at her and a gentle yet confident smile appears on Nami's face. "My captain is right about everything he said and our chef will happily cook for you, in fact that is why we are in town and my captain is so guilty over what he's accidentally done to you that he forgot that we have been staying in the Galley La company house since we've made Water Seven our temporary home" Nami gives Harmony the directions to the company house while she softly drags Luffy by his collar back to the house. Once inside the house Luffy quickly gives the bags of groceries to Sanji and tells that they will be having guests, and he then explains why they will be having guests before he runs to get Franky to make extra chairs. "He feels majorly bad that he ruined Harmony's dress so he's trying to make sure that, when her and her crew come here that they're comfortable and relaxed, and if it means going overboard then he will do that” Nami informs Sanji who had started cooking as Luffy was explaining the situation to him.

”That’s our idiot shitty captain for you getting in accidents and we have to clean up, all the mess he’s made seas I wish he were more mature and less childish!” Sanji voices his frustration of the situation, that they’ve been thrown into because of Luffy. Nami frowns hearing Sanji complain about their captain, as if Luffy did this to Harmony on purpose he didn’t see how, horrified Luffy’s eyes were when he realized what he caused. “Sanji it truly was an accident you know Luffy is only cruel to our enemies, he’d never treat a stranger especially another captain like this!” Nami yells at Sanji who normally would never speak bad about their captain.

Sanji angrily huffs as he is slowly mixing his large jet black pot full of spaghetti noddles, and he looks at Nami with clear annoyance in his blue eyes. "Nami-swan it obviously doesn't bother you since you've been with Luffy as long, as mosshead has but it is embarrassing to have a captain who's incredibly immature I mean for seas sake Nami- swan he NEVER has a plan nor does he wash normally. He is way too intense in everything he does!  He is an annoying brat whose ass we need to save all the time!" Sanji angrily yells unaware that his voice travels from the kitchen and fills the entire ship, which means Luffy hears every word Sanji has said. A loud slap fills the kitchen and Sanji looks at Nami's now dark pink hand from slapping Sanji, in shock of what just happened. "HE MAY BE YOUNGER THAN SOME OF US BUT HE'S ALSO OLDER THAN CHOPPER! FRANKY AND BROOK ARE BOTH OLDER THAN OUR CAPTAIN YET THEY DON'T LET THAT CHANGE HOW THEY TREAT HIM, THEY TREAT HIM WITH RESPECT AND GRATEFULNESS SINCE LIKE WITH ALL OF US LUFFY SAVED THEM AND LOVED THEM, WHEN BECAUSE OF HOW THEY LOOK THEY'RE TERRRIFIED NOBODY WILL LOVE THEM" Nami screams at Sanji and takes a deep breathe to get her second wind, when she hears Usopp's boots walk into the kitchen.

Usopp looks at Sanji like he is somebody he doesn't recognize because the Sanji he knows would never speak ill of Luffy, he calmly walks up to Sanji. "You are completely out of line Sanji! Luffy and I are the same age and I've made as many messes as he has and yet you never speak, of me the way you're speaking about Luffy so it must be the fact that our captain made a mistake with a woman that's why you're so angry!" Usopp scoffs and shakes his head at Sanji. "I am going to check up on our captain since heard everything you said asshole!" Usopp angrily huffs before leaving the kitchen to walk down the long wooden hallway, towards Franky's workshop and his heart breaks as he hears Luffy's heartbreaking tears, and Franky's soft words of reassuring he's saying to their captain. Just as Usopp's hand touches the doorknob he feels a soft hand touch his shoulder, stopping him and as he looks to see who it is he sees Robin who softly shakes her head. "Franky has got our captain but let us get the sunny ready for our guests" Robin suggests to Usopp and sees him reluctantly nod his head, and he follows her back down the hallway to help her clean the ship.

In Franky's workshop on Franky's extra large bed that's covered in a dark purple comforter that reminds him of Iceburg, lays Franky who’s holding his hurt captain in his arms. "It's okay Luffy we know that you're still starting out as a pirate and are still learning how to be a captain, it is okay that you make mistakes you learn from them and that is what matters. Back when Tom was still alive and before I was a cyborg I would scavenge though the junk yard, for parts and I would create these ships that always failed and icebrains would always tease me for it, so I was ashamed in what I created when Tom told me this "Even if the ship you've made could hurt somebody even if it could bring ruin to the world its only parent must give it love, you mustn't deny that which you created the ship isn't to blame! When a man's made a ship he makes it a part of himself with gusto” Franky tells Luffy as he is slowly running his fingers though Luffy’s jet black hair. “We will always love you captain even if your mistakes you make hurt us, we are strong and can handle it and protect ourselves we know you’re going to learn from your mistakes. Take pride in your mistakes because they help you mature into who you will grow to be, you should never be forced to grow up it should happen naturally” Franky says to Luffy as he softly kisses Luffy’s forehead as he watches Luffy slowly fall asleep safe in his arms.

In the new beautiful large dining room that has a long spiral staircase that leads down towards their new soft red furniture filled living room that Franky created before Sanji’s meltdown, Nami and Robin are setting the table with everything they need for their guests. "I can't believe what Sanji said about our captain Robin and for the record Harmony the captain we met, earlier looks to be two years younger than Luffy so Sanji has no where to judge on age!" Nami voices her feelings on the matter and sees Robin nod her head agreeing with her. "I completely agree with you Nami and I know that Zoro will feel the same way you do, oh the hell he will bring when he comes back to the house with Chopper, from helping Chopper buy his medical supplies it won't be pretty" Robin informs Nami as she finishes setting her side of the long dining table. Nami hears a knock at the front door and quickly finishes setting her side of the table, before walking to the front door and opening it and sees it is Lucci which causes her to raise her smooth orange eyebrow curiously. "What are you doing here Rob Lucci? You don't seem like the type to vist those you've caused pain and suffering" Nami says to him and sees him roll his eyes at her remark. "I don't usually but your captain's emotions are very quickly becoming depressing and smell like sour garlic, and the only reason I came here is because he is the only one who is an actual opponent for me nobody else would openly challenge me. So I'm here to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid now then where is he?" Lucci asks Nami as he raises his jet black curved eyebrow at her.

Nami owlishly blinks and points in the direction of Franky's workshop. "He's asleep in Franky's workshop" Nami answers Lucci and sees him walk into the house and as she slowly closes the front door, she watches as Lucci starts walking towards the direction of where Luffy is. "I don't buy your answer of why you are here Rob Lucci I remember how you were mainly focused on my captain, from the beginning and after seeing how powerful and kind and determined he is, I feel that after Luffy defeated you that you realized that after betraying Galley La and attempting to kill Iceburg and Paulie that you are all alone. Since aside from your cp9 members you actually built bonds with Iceburg and Paulie and are here, to ask Luffy for help sinc-" Nami is cut off by low growling and slowly looks up and sees that Lucci is half shifted and looks angry, but just before he can take a step towards her she sees his head turn to the side hearing footsteps coming towards them. Luffy walks into the dining walkway that's by the front door and assesses the situation and slowly walks over to Lucci and holds his hand out to Lucci. " I apologize for my navigator she wasn't trying to insult you or make you angry, she was only voicing her thoughts on what brought you here please, come with me pigeon guy we can talk in private" Luffy says to Lucci and watches his long spotted leopard tail that was angrily swishing back and forth slowly calm down, he feels Lucci's sharp claws on his rubber hand as Lucci grabs Luffy's hand and drags him towards the deck outside.

"Damn nosy woman she should mind her own business! It's not like I miss Paulie and miss working for Iceburg and Galley La!" Lucci growls as he lets go of Strawhat's hand once they are on the deck and Luffy calmly sits on one of the large deck chairs, and watches Lucci pace back and forth cursing Nami out as he vents his frustration about the situation. "It isn't a bad thing if you've gotten attached to them pigeon guy you created actual bonds with them, and it is normal for you to miss them" Luffy gently reassures Lucci knowing he will easily snap at him. He sees Lucci untie his long jet black hair and run his fingers through it, and turn towards him. "Look Strawhat even IF I wanted to make amends with them it's not like they'd accept my apology or me back" Lucci softly admits as he sits on the large deck chair across from Luffy who thinks over everything Lucci has done, and how it effected those involved. "It won't be easy since your betrayal on top of the fact you tried to kill both of them, and purposely finger pistoled Paulie in the chest which defiantly left a scar, but if you were to sincerely apologize to Robin and Franky who you tried to kill especially Franky who you tried to kill three times!" Luffy angrily reminds him. "Damn determined leopard!" He mutters and sees a smirk appear on Lucci's face as he takes his fingers, out of his hair and gives Strawhat his full attention. "If you do that then I will help you make amends with Galley La but only if you sincerely apologize to my two crew mates!" Luffy warns Lucci who raises his curved jet black eyebrow at him. "Don't I owe you an apologize as well since I nearly killed you in our fight?" Lucci asks Luffy who shakes his head and looks at him.

"No you don't since it was a fair fight neither side held back and it would be an insult to both opponents, since we gave our all plus we purposely challenged each other" Luffy says to a smug looking Lucci. "Well I wasn't gonna let some brat easily take me down I had to put up a fight" Lucci tells Luffy who softly rolls his eyes at Lucci's statement. "Whatever pigeon guy I need to get back into my ship and change my clothes, so that I look good for our guests that we are having for dinner" Luffy informs Lucci as he stands up and starts walking towards the door that leads inside but stops halfway, and he turns around and looks at Lucci who merely raises his curved eyebrow again. "Since you either were or are the leader of Cp9 that means you have a lot of pressure on your shoulders, you know what it is like to be overwhelmed even if you hide it. My question is do you think I am a bad captain? Because I feel like I am already failing my crew and if I don't improve they will abandon me" Luffy weakly laughs as tears roll down his tan cheeks.

Lucci looks at the young rookie pirate captain who's breaking down in front of him and even though he is cruel and loves causing his victims, emotional pain seeing his opponent who never stayed down during their fight break down and voice his fear to him, hurts his cold heart so he slowly walks up to Strawhat and wraps his strong arms around Luffy's small waist and brings his head against his muscular chest. "First of all no I don't think you are a bad captain at all Strawhat nor do I think you're a bad person, if you were a bad person you would've left Paulie at my side at the Galley La mansion and at enies lobby when we were, fighting you would have taken your eyes off of me which would have resulted in me killing everybody. Secondly it's as clear as Paulie's love for gambling that your crew loves and adores you and will NEVER abandon you and if they were to ever do that, then you would go after them and show them that you love them, because that is who you are Strawhat you have a massive heart that is full of love. Lastly if you still feel like you need to improve yourself call for Hattori and he will bring me to you" Lucci informs Luffy as he leaves the thousand Sunny's deck.

Once Luffy is inside and walking down the hall towards his bedroom he remembers Franky's kind words but he also remembers Sanji's harsh words and the truth behind them and as he gets closer to his bedroom, he sees Sanji leaning against it as if he is waiting for him. "Sanji what are you doing here? Is all the food ready for our guests?" Luffy asks Sanji as he goes to walk into his bedroom but is stopped by Sanji who uses his foot to stop Luffy from walking. "Look Luffy I've already been yelled and slapped by Nami and lectured by Usopp for how, I voiced my problems with you but I am not the one who should change you are! If you want me to talk better about you then CHANGE WHO YOU ARE NOBODY WANTS MONKEY D. LUFFY TO BE IN THEIR LIFE!!" Sanji screams at Luffy as he roughly bumps his shoulder against Luffy's shoulder as he walks back in the direction of the kitchen. The bright happy memories Luffy has made with his crew become tainted with a dark beige that destroys what was once his happiness, in Luffy's mind he feels like he is back in the jungle of all alone and he doesn't want that, maybe Sanji is right nobody wants him in their lives. Luffy numbly walks into his bedroom and doesn't realize he's already closed the door and walks towards the clothes that Robin set out for him to wear for the dinner, he stares at the clothes and is so stuck in his head that he doesn't hear the bedroom door open and hear Zoro walk into the room.

Zoro sees that his kind selfless confident captain is deeply effected by something but he doesn't know what it is all he knows is that it is effecting him as hard as when Usopp left the crew when they were in Water Seven the first time, he slowly walks behind Luffy and carefully turns Luffy around and wraps his strong arms around Luffy's body and holds him close to his body. "What's wrong Captain? What has you looking like you're slowly breaking? What could have happened in the time from when I left to help Brook buy new tea cups, to when we returned?!" Zoro anxiously questions his captain who saved him from death and gave him a new purpose in life. He hears a soft barely above a whisper answer from Luffy explaining what happened while him and Brook, were gone and the urge to kill the perverted chef is at it's highest. "Luffy nothing that damn pervert told you is right we all love you! You do everything and more for us you've given us what we were missing in our lives, you love us and you fight for us hell you even bleed for us. YOU NEARLY DIED FIGHTING FOR ROBIN AT ENIES LOBBY YOU FOUGHT TWO ASSSAINS FOR HER AS WELL AS GROUP AFTER GROUP OF MARINES!!" Zoro reminds Luffy of what he's done for them but even as he tells Luffy all of this he sees that what the damn chef said to him, is replaying in his mind like a broken record and there is nothing he can do to change that. Zoro walks his stuck in his mind captain into the bathroom and looks at him. "Can I undress you and wash your body for you captain?" He asks Luffy wanting him to know that even though he is stuck in his mind that he respects him, and won't do anything without his constant nor will he or any of them ever take advantage of him. He sees Luffy slowly nod his head and feels him rest his head on Zoro's strong shoulder. "Trust Zoro" Luffy says before his eyes glaze over again. The happiness that spreads through Zoro like the tangerines of Nami's tangerine tree at the fact that even after what that chef did, that Luffy still trusts him makes him relived and happy and hopes it is the same for his other crew mates as well.

As Zoro is slowly undressing Luffy he notices that there is a deep shoe imprint on Luffy's back that is surrounded by purple and bluish colored bruises, and as Zoro's eyes travel more down Luffy's back he feels his grey eyes widen in horror as he sees, a swollen yellow burn mark on his lower back. All that is running through his mind is WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN!!. Zoro gently sits Luffy onto the edge of the tub and looks at him with concerned filled grey eyes. "Luffy when did Sanji do this to you? I need to know so that when we tell Chopper he can take care of your injuries properly" Zoro tells Luffy as he feels his body shaking with hot rage at what Sanji has done to their captain! "He did it after the party Lola threw for us from freeing her and her crew from Moria's control, he was outraged at how I didn't protect Nami and how I should've done more to protect her, so he lured me into the back under the pretense of he wanted to talk to me but instead hurt me. When I asked with tears in my eyes why he did this to me he told me I deserved it for failing as a captain" Luffy informs Zoro sounding like a shell of himself and just before Zoro can ask why he didn't tell any of them he's told his answer. "He said if I told any of you what he did this to me that the next time he would use sea water to knock me out so that I couldn't defend myself, so I kept my mouth shut until now because he see what he did" Luffy says to Zoro who takes off his dark green shirt and gently wraps it around Luffy's body and gingerly picks him up in his strong arms. "The shower can wait I AM TAKING YOU TO CHOPPER THEN NAMI AND I WILL DEAL WITH SANJI!" Zoro growls as he exits the bathroom with Luffy safe in his arms.

After Zoro leaves Luffy in the care of a horrified Chopper he searches the ship for Nami because she needs to know everything Sanji did to their captain! He finds her tending to her tangerine tree and walks up to her and whisper explains everything in her ear and watches as her hold on the fruit Pruners tightens. "HOW DARE HE DO THIS TO OUR CAPTAIN ZORO THIS IS ABUSE!!" THIS HAS TO CHANGE AND WE NEED TO PUT LUFFY SOMEWHERE SAFE SOMEWHERE AWAY FROM SANJI UNTIL WE HAVE EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL!!  But where can we put him that he will be safe and protected?" Nami asks Zoro feeling like a failure for not protecting her captain who saved her from her abuser but she didn't do the same for him. Usopp and Robin who overheard Nami's screams of outrage walk over to Zoro and Nami and Robin looks at her/ "Well I have a crazy idea but stay with me and let me explain it before disagreeing with me" Robin pleads with her crew mates and sees them nod their heads. "We already know how focused Rob Lucci was on our captain and most likely still is and we know that after the betrayal of Galley La and rescuing me that Paulie and Luffy bonded and got very close, so my idea is to put Luffy in both Men's care since both care about him in different ways, for Rob Lucci he sees Luffy as an amazing opponent that he doesn't want to lose and for Paulie he can easily be an older brother for Luffy and help guide him into expressing everything he's bottled up so that he doesn't snap one day" Robin explains her plan to her crew mates and sees that they aren't happy about the fact, that they need to go to their newest enemy for help but know that Robin is right, that this is the best they can do for Luffy and he will be protected with both men.

"So the plan is to pretend like everything is normal when the Silver wolf crew comes for dinner and once they leave one of us will discreetly leave the company house with Luffy, and walk him to the house where the two men will be waiting but who will go ask Rob Lucci and Paulie for their help?" Usopp asks his crew mates and sees Franky walk over to the group. "I'll do it I know I am still very new to the crew but ever since I've joined, it's been one adventure after another and I have a new family that I love and I owe it all to our captain so if I can do this for him I will do it" Franky expresses his gratitude and love for Luffy which warms all their hearts. "But didn't Rob Lucci try to kill you? Arent you afraid he will attempt to finish the job?" Usopp voices his concern to Franky and sees Franky shake his head. "Our captain has a way of softening our enemies without them realizing it" Franky chuckles as he leaves the company house and walks towards the bridge where Paulie saved the Strawhat crew from aqua laguna, and he sees both Rob Lucci and Paulie sitting far from each other on the new bridge. "Well this makes things easier" Franky says as he walks closer to both men and sits in front of them on the g round. "I am here because we need both of your help I'll tell you both more when we are in private, but are you willing to listen to me before denying to help us?" Franky asks both men and sees them look curious and concerned about what could be so wrong that they are coming to them for help, Lucci shares a look with Paulie and they both turn their heads towards Franky. "Alright we will listen to you before rejecting to help" Lucci speaks for both of them as him and Paulie stand up and they see Franky do the same, the walk towards Paulie's apartment is quiet and it is only after Paulie closes his front door when the rapid questions start. "What is wrong with the crew? Why do you need our help? Why do you need our help specifically? Who needs our help?" Paulie asks Franky question after question.

Lucci who once he was inside Paulie's apartment went and sat on one of Paulie's large comfy chairs has been watching Franky and taking in the emotions he is smelling off of him, slowly piecing the problem together but knows he is missing pieces. "You need our help with Strawhat and came to us because of how we view Strawhat and know that he'd be protected with us, but that only answers two out of four of Paulie's questions we still don't know what is wrong and why you need our help specifically" Lucci tells Franky after he assessed the situation. "Well either both of you or only one of you is going to react badly after I explain everything to you, but it's best that you know everything regardless so here we go" Franky takes a deep breathe before slowly explaining everything Sanji said and did to Luffy and blinks in surprise as Lucci full shifts into his leopard form and growls as he paces back and forth in Paulie's living room. "Woah I didn't expect him to react so strongly he doesn't even like my captain" Franky expresses his shock and sees Paulie look at him. "Lucci may not like Strawhat much but he does respect him and the lack of respect and the abuse that happened to Strawhat pushed him past his limits" Paulie explains to Franky as they watch Lucci let out terrifying growls as he paces back and forth more. "Well we have the plan to have our captain temporarily stay here in your apartment with Lucci, but given your new history with each other I am having second thoughts on the plan if I'm being honest" Franky tells Paulie who goes to open his mouth to respond when he hears Lucci's paw steps turn into footsteps.

"I owe you both an apology but I need Strawhat's help when it comes to anyone from Galley La so for now I will focus on you Cutt- I mean Franky, I apologize for trashing your home with the square sisters and talking bad about your father figure Tom, I shouldn't have spoke ill about the death I should have respected his legacy and I am sorry i tried to kill you and Iceburg. I burnt every bridge I could and didn't think Spandam would ever have the guts to kick me and my co workers out of the job we were trained for, yet that's what happened and now we are homeless and alone and broke but it's not like your captain would take us in given what we did to your crew" Lucci sadly chuckles as he sinks down onto the chair he was in before. "Serves me right I purposely betrayed those that gave me a job and made me part of their family and I basically slapped Galley La in the face, now I only have Hattori" Lucci admits some regret in his voice and is surprised as he hears Franky walk towards him, and feels him sit next to him. "Well it is a start of you improving yourself if you feel regret and apologizing for everything you've done to those effected, you just have to take it step by step otherwise you'll be overwhelmed" Franky advices Lucci who dryly chcukles.

Paulie slowly digests everything that Lucci and Franky said and everything that Sanji did to Strawhat and thinks over the huge question of is it possible to live with Lucci without trying to kill each other but then he remembers, how Strawhat who never fought an assassin or a Zoan type before yet he did that so that he could get justice for Galley La. "I don't have a problem temporarily living with Lucci if it helps Strawhat but how do you feel about living with Strawhat and I Lucci?" Paulie questions Lucci with a raised blonde eyebrow surprising Lucci. "It sounds like an insane idea but if it gives Strawhat a safe place to stay then I don't mind temporarily living with Paulie, but he had better be okay with Hattori coming to live with us because where I go Hattori goes!" Lucci warns and sees Paulie roll his eyes at him. "Of course you can bring your pet pigeon you dramatic leopard as if I would ever separate you and Hattori, geez you would think you would remember that I actually like your pigeon" Paulie huffs and blinks in surprise as he hears Lucci laugh. "Strawhat called me a determined Leopard when I talked to him before and now you called me a dramatic leopard, it's refreshing to know you aren't afraid to voice how you truly feel about me" Lucci Smirks at Paulie who has a ghost of a smile on his face.

"This went better then any of us expected it to go alright while we are having our dinner with our guests Paulie you can help Lucci and Hattori move into your apartment and Lucci on the subject of my captain not taking you in, my captain easily and happily takes in strays so I wouldn't lose hope plus maybe since he will be living with you and Paulie, you can bond with him and get him to like you again" Franky tells Lucci who owlishly blinks confused. "What do you mean again? He never liked me before he probably thought I was an idiot having Hattori speak for me" Lucci grumbles and he sees Paulie shake his head disagreeing with him. "Actually Strawhat told me while him and I were trapped in Iceburg's bedroom that he had liked you, when he met you when you rescued his money that I tried to steal and he didn't think you were an idiot speaking though Hattori why do you think he calls you piegon guy? He loves your pet pigeon because Hattori is part of your ventriloquism act which he thinks is awesome by the way, so I wouldn't lose hope Lucci if he thought you were cool once if you bond with him more he will think of you that way again" Paulie reassures Lucci as he watches Franky stand up. "This is good I will bring Luffy after our guests leave and if anything else happens to Luffy Sanji better pray that Luffy can get to Lucci, before he can full shift into his leopard form since leopards are incredibly fast!" Franky nervously chuckles as he sees a feral smile appear on Lucci's face.

Back on the Thousand Sunny the new dining table is set and the food is waiting in the kitchen to be served and everybody is dressed and looking their best they are just waiting for their guests to arrive, Chopper walks onto the deck and nervously smiles at his crew mfates because he hasn't let anybody to his office, to see their captain so they're completely in the dark about Luffy's condition. "Luffy's injuries were too severe and I couldn't treat them with normal medicine so I went Mozu and Kiwi for help and they suggested, that I create a powerful healing perfume that would give our captain what it feels Luffy deses to become. so I used baby's breath to show our everlasting love for him, and then I used carnation for female love so that if he finds an abandoned girl he will be more gentle than usual. I also used white carnation to show his innocence then I used fern for secret bonds of love and magic, lastly I used a combination of Heliotrope for devotion and  Hyssop for sacrifice and a new start, I am just not sure how all the flowers combined will effect him but it is meant to give him what he needs" Chopper informs his crew mates as he hears footsteps walking towards the deck and sees the door slowly open revealing a tall young girl with her long to waist silky jet black hair that is styled in, beautiful long beach waves and it showcases her sun kissed skin beautifully and she is wearing a sunshine yellow, spaghetti strap mini dress that hugs her perky boobs like a glove and shows off her small waist and round hips, and she finishes off her look with a pair of beige high heels to show off her long beautiful legs. "It looks like the perfume wanted me to really have a fresh start and that includes a new gender along with a healed body, I am grateful for everything you and Mozu and Kiwi did for me Chopper and I already thanked the girls through my transponder snail, now it's you turn" Lacey smiles her veroice soft and Chopper feels the worry he felt melt away like butter, he sees Lacey softly crouches down and places a butterfly kiss on Chopper's furry forehead. "Woah captain you look SUPER beautiful but what should we call you now?" Franky asks his captain as he watches her slowly stand up straight and confidently walk over to him. "You can call me Lacey Monkey D Lacey I like how it sounds!" Lacey softly giggles as she feels Franky softly twirl her causing her bright smile to come back on her face. Lacey happily exclaims and softly kisses his cheek leaving a soft light pink kiss mark behind on his tan face, she tenses as she feels Sanji's eyes on her but doesn't look in his direction instead she starts walking towards the railing of the deck and looks for their guests, and she lets out a happy gasp when she sees Harmony and her crew walking towards the company house. "They are coming! Zoro since you're my first mate come with me to greet captain Harmony and her first mate" Lacey tells Zoro who has a proud smile on his face as he leaves with Lacey towards the front door.

Once at the front of the house Lacey feels Zoro gently hug her close to his body and the soft feeling of a kiss is placed on her hair. "I am so deeply sorry I didn't protect you from Sanji Captain you deserve better and, I completely understand if you want to replace me with a better swordsm-" Zoro is cut off by a soft rubber finger placed on his lips. "Zoro I will never replace you with anybody you're irreplaceable and I only want you to be my first mate and swordsman, as for feeling guilty of not protecting me from Sanji nobody knew you only found out about what he did to me today. I know that if you had known before that you would have done everything to protect me and I know you always will protect me" Lacey reassures Zoro who has a fond smile appear on his tan face at the clear love his captain is showing him. Lacey hears a soft knock on the front door and opens the door and smiles at Harmony, who looks surprised at Lacey's new look. "You look beautiful but what has brought on the sudden change?" Harmony asks Lacey confused as she walks into the company house with her female first mate Melina who has her large bouncy dark brown hair styled in space buns. "Oh well I wanted a change and I love the new me and my new name as well which is Lacey, and I want to introduce to you my first mate and swordsman Roronoa zoro he is an amazing powerful swordsman and is extremely loyal, he is giving and helpful and I trust him with everything" Lacey happily gushes about Zoro unaware the soft fond smile on Zoro's tan face as he listens to his captain.

Harmony smiles hearing Lacey gush about her first mate like he is the best thing in her life and wants to also gush about her own first mate, but how she wants to talk about her first mate is different from how Lacey spoke about Zoro. "I do want to introduce my first mate to you but my relationship with her is different than the one you have with Zoro and I am afraid you won't accept us" Harmony admits to Lacey who has a frown on her face from hearing this beautiful confident woman sound so small and scared, so she gently guides Harmony into the company house and over to one of the large beige couch's in the living room, hearing Melina and Zoro follow after them and softly holds Harmony's hands in her own hands and smiles a warm smile at her. "There is no need to be scared about not being accepted Harmony we may be pirates but we don't judge somebodies life style, if you've made choices that were what you needed and those choices helped you then everything is okay" Lacey reassures Harmony who has relaxed as Lacey was talking to her. "Even if I'm a pirate mother and one night stand of a second in command of a powerful pirate crew who once she saw your gorgeous navigator wants to try dating girls?" Harmony asks Lacey as she sees Melina who looks to be a young five year old child who has her arms wrapped around her mother's waist. "Of course and you have a beautiful daughter Harmony Melina's hair is styled beautifully and her light blue romper and beige boots is adorable, and you have good eyes on beautiful women Nami is gorgeous and if you want to pursue something with Nami, I would advise you and I see if the father wants to be in your child's life first before you start something new" Lacey advices Harmony and sees her nod her head. "Thank you for complementing my daughter and yes you are right I don't want to cause you and your crew trouble" Harmony tells Lacey.

Nami slowly walks over to Lacey's side and sits next to her and gives Harmony her full attention. "You are really interested in trying to date girls and are only interested in doing that because you saw me? Am I really that memorable if you remembered me even after everything that happened later that day?" Nami questions Harmony and blinks in surprise as not only does Harmony answer but Lacey and Robin answer her as well. "YES YOU ARE YOU'RE AN AMAZING WOMAN AND LOVABLE AND LOYAL ANYBODY IS LUCKY AND BLESSED TO HAVE YOU AS THEIR PARTNER" Lacey and Robin say in unison to Nami who has a happy smile on her face from the love she's being shown. "Thank you for all the love you're showing me and Lacey is right we should get everything worked out before starting anything, but who is the person you hooked up with so that we know what to expect" Nami asks Harmony as Lacey is looking at Melina trying to see who her father could possibly be, she feels her chocolate eyes widen in shock as she sees freckles on her face the same place Ace does. "Harmony did the guy you slept with have a orange hat that has two designs on the top of it one, of them being a smiley face and the other a frowning face and have shoulder length black hair and is always shirtless?!?!" Lacey anxiously asks and sees Harmony look at her in shock. "Yes how did you know?!" Harmony asks Lacey in shock and feels Lacey let go of her hands and sees her fall back against Zoro who is sitting behind her chest. "Because that is my older brother Ace OH SEAS THAT MEANS I AM A AUNT!" Lacey exclaims in shock

Harmony owlishly blinks as she stares at Lacey as she tries to takes in everything she's just learned, and as she slowly blinks more she looks at Lacey with fear and hope in her eyes. "Since he is your brother you know him very well correct?" Harmony asks Lacey fear coating her voice and she sees Lacey nod her head. "Harmony did you have a relationship with my brother or was it just a hook up?" Lacey questions her and sees Harmony look hesitate to tell her since Melina would hear her answer. "Melina I have this amazing crew mate he is a talking reindeer who is also a doctor! He is incredibly kind and is SUPER FLUFFY!! I bet if you ask him if you can play with him he will say yes, his name is Chopper and he is wearing a pink hat but it is important you remember he is a reindeer not a racoon" Lacey tells her niece and sees her let go of Harmony's waist and gently tackle hugs her body, Lacey is so surprised that she lets out a squeak as they fall back onto Zoro's strong chest. "THAT SOUNDS AMAZING I WANT TO MEET HIM PLEASE INTRODUCE ME TO HIM!!" Melina happily exclaims as she clings to Lacey and look up at her with stars in her dark brown eyes. Harmony looks shocked since her daughter doesn't usually love somebody right off the bat and she sees Usopp softly smile at her. "Don't worry Harmony this is simply the Lacey effect in motion "Usopp reassures Harmony but sees she looks confused now. "What do you mean the Lacey effect?" Harmony questions Usopp who has a fond smile on his tan face as he remembers how quickly you can love his captain. "What I mean by the Lacey effect is that she is sunshine and happiness personified she gives those that have either met her, or have her in their life everything that they need whether it is love or Acceptation or even freedom, she will make sure you're happy and safe and will protect you with her life. It is very easy to love her and feel safe with her because she will take care of everything and shoulder your burdens with a bright smile on her face" Usopp explains to Harmony and pauses as a deep frown appears on his tan face

"Even if Lacey is struggling and overwhelmed she doesn't let it show she stands strong and shows you a warm smile giving you strength to continue fighting, we know she trusts us and trusts us with her life but she's also hides her problems not wanting to burden us, she isn't the best when it comes to asking for help she'd rather suffer in silence" Usopp shakes his head as he wishes Lacey would reach out to them for help. Harmony softly tilts her head and remembers what she saw on Lacey when she was a he and wonders if she should tell Usopp, and decides it is best he knows everything in case Lacey is in trouble. "Usopp there is something you should know when Lacey was Luffy and he accidentally bumped into me, I had seen on his stomach when his red vest would rise up it was stretch marks which confused me because why would he have stretch marks? Now that I know that she isn't the best when asking for help and would rather suffer in silence, I feel it is better that I tell you this" Harmony tells Usopp who's dark brown eyes have grown wide and are filled with horror as he turns his full attention towards Lacey who heard Harmony telling Usopp all of this.

Lacey unknowingly rubs her belly and looks like a cornered Animal that is ready to attack if necessary and as she sees Usopp go to open his mouth, he pauses in his action when he sees Lacey's shoulders tense up and notices Lacey's chocolate eyes become wet. "Lacey it is okay whatever it is we will handle it together like a family you are safe with us we will always be your family, what are you hiding from us and why are you hiding it from us?" Nami softly questions her captain and sees her start to cry with tears rolling down her cheeks. "I will only tell you once Harmony explains what her situation is with Ace but Melina needs to go to Chopper for that to happen" Lacey answers Nami's question as she slowly gets up and holds Melina on her hip and walks in the direction of Chopper's bedroom, and once her crew sees her vanish they share horrified looks with each other thinking of what else Sanji could have done to Lacey when she was Luffy.

Melina softly plays with the ruby red music note necklace on Lacey's neck as she is carried by Lacey. "Do you love music Lacey is that why you have a music note necklace?" Melina curiously asks and sees a warm smile appear on Lacey's face. "Yes I do very much it was a huge part of the beginning of my life and helped me have an amazing person in my life, that I love very much and will always protect" She says to Melina who looks at her with a nervous smile on her face. "If you become close to mama will you protect her as well? I know mama is strong and brave but she needs somebody she can lean on for help, it isn't bad to let your guard down and ask for help it can even help you out in the end" Melina tells Lacey unaware that she's giving her aunt the push she needs to tell her crew the full story of what happened that night of the party when Sanji had hurt her, she knows one thing for sure Zoro isn't going to react calmly and she will have to call in Paulie because if she calls in Pigeon guy for help it will become worse. Lacey softly kisses Melina's forehead leaving behind a soft kiss mark and looks at her niece with pure love in her chocolate eyes. "You're very smart for somebody so young" Lacey complements her niece earning herself a happy giggle from her. "Mama tells me the same thing" She smiles at Lacey and sees her walk into a large bedroom that's walls are covered in packed bookshelves.

Chopper looks up from his notebook and sees his captain with Harmony's daughter and looks at Lacey in confusion on why she is here. "Chopper I need you to watch Melina while Harmony and I talk in the living room, we don't want her hearing things she shouldn't know" Lacey whispers in Chopper's ear after she gently placed Melina on the large plush orange couch that is near Chopper's desk. "I can do that captain don't worry and go ahead and head back to the crew" Chopper reassures his nervous looking captain whose unknowingly rubbing her belly. "Thank you Chopper either I or one of our crew mates will come to let you know when it is time to bring Melina back" Lacey tells Chopper as she leaves the room and walks back in the direction of the living room, once she arrives back in the living room she sits back on the couch and leans back into Zoro's chest. "Alright Harmony what is your relationship with my brother?" Lacey questions Harmony and sees a soft pink blush paint her cheeks. "Well he and I would hook up when he was staying on my ship and I see our relationship as a possible romance, he doesn't know that he got me pregnant nor does he know about Melina but how do you think he will react once either you or I tell him?" Harmony asks Lacey with fear in her voice.

"He will be shocked then he will panic because he will think he ruined your life because he got you pregnant, but then the guilt of not being there for you during your pregnancy will hit him like a truck. So in short you will soon have my older brother following after you like a puppy who will spoil you and Melina" Lacey tells an amused Harmony who can this Ace reacting this way. "Now that we are done handling my problems lets focus on yours instead, you did tell Nami that you would after my daughter was out of the room which she now is soo spill what's going on with you that you're hiding from your crew?" Harmony asks Lacey who frowns knowing that Harmony is right and she's never gone back on her word and won't start doing that, even if she's horrified of the outcome that will come once everyone knows everything.

Harmony watches as Lacey's beautiful warm chocolate eyes glaze over and it looks like she's stuck in a memory and sees Lacey's hand touch her belly as if she's protecting something. In Lacey's mind she sees the memory that she wants to block out of her memory but it remains like a cockroach that won't die, she knows it is best that her crew knows everything even it hurts her so she walks towards the large dark red door that is surrounded with thick heavy midnight black vines that are covered in deep green thorns. Lacey push's her hands into the middle of the door where the doorknob is and even as she feels the sharp thorns piece through her rubber hands and feels her light red blood spill onto the floor from her hands, she knows that this is the only way to open the door by embracing all the pain she's been hiding. She grabs tightly onto the doorknob and slowly opens it revealing the truth of what Sanji did to her.

The feeling of Sanji roughly pushing her onto the jagged rough sharp ground of what was originally Moria's castle, she remembers trying to smell Ale on Sanji and her eyes widening in fear as she only smelled his normal seafood and cigarette smell. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA THE TERROR THAT FILLED MY VEINS WHEN I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!!" Sanji screams at his captain. "IT JUST BECAME WORSE WHEN I WAS TOLD BY USOPP THAT THE DAMN INVISIBLE PERVERT GROPED NAMI WHEN SHE WAS NAKED AND THEN ATTEMPTED TO MARRY HER!" Sanji yells and then smirks as he handcuffs Lacey's hands with seastone cuffs, and his smirk becomes manic as he sees his captain's strength leave her once the effects sink in. "Oh don't worry captain I am sure even after you're damaged goods if you beg Rob Lucci he will take pity on you and date you" Sanji sneers at her before the sound of the fabric of her jean shorts being ripped fills the air.

Lacey weakley looks behind Sanji in hopes that Zoro or one of the girls will save her and hears Sanji let out a bitter cold laugh. "Nobody will save you captain I made sure that they are all in food comas and won't wake up until the morning, now then time for your punishment for all the pain you've caused Nami and I!" Sanji says to her as he unzips and buttons his jet black suit pants and pulls out his large cock and grins as he sees his captain attempt to fight him even as weak as he currently is. "Remember you deserve this and whatever comes after this it is all your fault captain!" Sanji reminds his captain before raping him.

I want to give you comfort but will only if you're comfortable with that" Robin reassures her and hears her sniffle. "Thank you for asking me for permission but there is no need for that, I trust you and Nami and Zoro and surprisingly even pigeon guy a little but yes please hug me I need you as much as I need Nami" Lacey begs Robin who quickly wraps her broken captain in her arms.

"Shh everything will be okay we will help you through this and talk over all your choices and help you through your recovery of being raped, you are not alone through this Lacey we have your back" Robin says to Lacey as she is slowly rubbing soothing circles into Lacey's back and distracts her as Zoro drags Sanji by his blonde hair out of the living room towards the basement and once in the basement he slams Sanji's body against the wall and wraps his large hand around Sanji's neck. "Zoro Lacey will need you more then ever if she really is pregnant so lets let Sanji live for now until we know everything" Harmony advices Zoro as she walks more into the basement her high heels clicking on the tile flooring of the basement and she sees Sanji open his mouth to thank her. causing her to narrow her eyes at him. "I am not keeping him from murdering you for your sake! Instead for Lacey Melina's aunt who you've made suffer through all types of abuse!" Harmony growls at Sanji and harshly kicks in his stomach making him groan in pain. "I am going to check on Lacey good job Zoro keep it up" Harmony tells Zoro as she leaves back to the living room.

Zoro turns his full attention back to Sanji who he is still choking and glares at him like he is the scum of the earth and doesn't deserve to know Lacey. "You seem to forget that when Lacey was Luffy she wasn't sitting on her ass doing nothing! Hell you were with us until we went in Moria's castle and got kidnapped and wrapped in spider web and lost our shadows!! Luffy had no idea of what was happening to Nami until afterwards and he trusted you to save her! As for your life constantly being in danger and taking you from Zeff?! Our lives aren't easy since we're pirates and you knew that even before joining since you saw Luffy fight against Don Krieg and nearly die, From what I was told Zeff asked Luffy to take you to the sea so that you can find the all blue or did you forget that!!" Zoro screeches as he throws Sanji's body across the basement making sure it hits the brick wall, and he sees blood drip down from Sanji's forehead and smirks. "The only reason I am not breaking your legs or burning your hands is because, even after all that you've done to our captain I am not the one who will punishing you, I easily can be but the one who is going to do it is perfect for the job and will make sure that you learn your lesson and not abuse our captain again" Zoro tells Sanji as he steps aside revealing a enraged Nami who has burning hatred in her light brown eyes as she looks down at Sanji. "Lets play a game Sanji every lie you tell us we will use this lovely electric whip Harmony gifted me but if you are truthful with us, and want to keep Lacey in your life then we won't hurt you" Nami explains how things will go to Sanji

Sanji lifts himself into a sitting position and glares at Zoro as he softly rubs his throat where Zoro's large hand was choking him and gives his full attention to Nami-swan. "Of course Nami-swan whatever you want I will do" Sanji says as hearts appear from his cigarette smoke which makes Nami annoyed that he isn't taking this serious so she hits the space next to him with her electric whip. "TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY IT IS ABOUT OUR CAPTAIN!!" Nami snarls baring her teeth at him. "Now then lets start with the questions why would you abuse the man now woman who gave you freedom? She gave you what you were searching for and you repay her by abusing and possibly knocking her up, there must be a better reason than you stating that you hate her" Nami says to Sanji and sees him stare at the ground thinking over his answer. "What makes you think I am not being truthful when I said I blame her for constantly putting my life in danger, and taking me away from Zeff?" Sanji asks Nami as he lifts his head up and looks at her with a raised eyebrow. "Because I saw the way you looked at her before Thriller Bark your eyes were full of love and adoration and you respected her, it was only after everything Moria put us through that you started abusing her" Nami tells Sanji with sadness in her light brown eyes.

"Sanji I am going to be honest with you even if you were to fix things with Lacey it will take a loongg time until you have gained her trust back and for her to feel safe around you again and honestly keeping her possible pregnancy in mind, it would be better for the mother and child to have somebody like Zoro or Paulie in their life romantically since they will do everything to protect Lacey" Nami informs Sanji whose blue eyes widen in shock and slowly fill with understanding. "Fine you're right there is another reason I abused her and raped her, it was jealousy that drove me past reasoning and all I saw was green" Sanji admits to Nami which causes her to raise her smooth eyebrow softly.

Nami and Zoro share a look of confusion with each other at the admission of Sanji feeling jealous but what is he jealous of? "What could you possibly be jealous of that you would treat Lacey like how you've treated her?" , Zoro takes over questioning for Nami as she sits down on the large beige comfortable chair in front of Sanji. "Lacey when she was Luffy would always give most if not all of her attention to you mosshead! I would beg for any ounce of attention and love from the girls and yet you easily get it without trying and you get all her love and hugs and cuddles, all I would get were complements about my food and kicks in battle. DAMN IT WHY DOES SHE LOVE YOU MORE THAN ME!!!" Sanji finally snaps and lets his emotions fully out shocking both of his crew mates at why he's jealous. Nami owlishly blinks and turns in her chair and looks at Zoro then she turns back in her chair, and she looks back at Sanji and softly shakes her head. "Of course you'd be jealous and possessive of Lacey because she gives all her attention to Zoro, you're like a child that wants to keep your favorite toy away from everybody but you need to share our captain with everybody Zoro included, if you do that then we can help you slowly fix your relationship with Lacey" Nami informs Sanji who's actions are slowly sinking in at what he did to their captain.

Once Harmony walks back into the living room she sees that Lacey is now in Franky's lap and has her head on his chest, and she sees her turn her head when she hears Harmony's heels walk into the living room. "How are you feeling now Lacey?" Harmony asks Lacey unsure of what type of answer she will get. Lacey slowly opens her mouth to answer but then closes her mouth when she hears the front door be knocked on, she sees Usopp walk over to the front door and sees Rob Lucci standing on the other side of the door causing Usopp to gasp in shock. Lacey owlishly blinks when she sees Pigeon guy at the front door and gestures to Usopp to let him into the house and sees Usopp reluctantly let one of their enemies into the house, and he quietly closes the door behind him. "Pigeon guy what are you doing here? this is the second time you've visted my crew and I" Lacey says to a shocked Lucci who is staring with his head tilted to the side. "S-Strawhat is that really you?" Lucci stutterers out his question because he never thought he would see his feisty opponent as a girl. "Yes this really is me pigeon guy but please answer my question I asked you" Lacey reminds Lucci and sees him walk into the living room and sit in front of her on one of the comfy chairs. "I came here because I wanted to check up on you given the last time we spoke your scent still smelled sad, even after i reassured you so here I am and you're now a girl a beautiful one at that but still a girl please explain to me how we got to where we are" Lucci pleads to Lacey looking and sounding incredibly lost

As Lacey explains everything to Lucci Nami who came back up from the basement watches as the emotions on Lucci's face go from shock to disgust, and then to sadness and finally settling on feral rage where he looks like he wants to slowly kill Sanji and wouldn't stop even if Sanji begged him. Nami didn't know she could become more shocked that is until she saw Lucci get on his knees on the floor in front of Lacey who is still in Franky's lap. "Please let me help you Strawhat if you will let me be there for you in any way, you're in a very vulnerable state right now and I want to offer my help in anyway I can" Lucci begs Lacey who his leopard side wants to protect and patiently waits with his head on the tile flooring for Strawhat's answer. "Well I deeply appericate your offer Pigeon guy but I need to talk this over with my crew first, also given your history with my crew mates especially Robin and Franky aren't the best and even though my situation isn't the best right now I still put my crew mates lives before my own" Lacey explains to Lucci who is unknowingly slowly melting his ice cold heart by the clear love Lacey has for her crew.
