Shades of bright and light blue painted the sky above, snow-white clouds accompanying them. It was your casual summer day, weather absolutely beautiful, yet frustrating due to the heat. Thank god for the wind, it keeping you cool under the sun for quite some time for now.
A sigh left your lips, your body leaning against the railing of the bridge, while your eyes took in the scenery in front of you. It was lovely, filled with lots of colors, pink blossom petals falling from the trees not too far away. You could hear the sounds of chatter around you, children laughing away. You were in your world, merely focusing onto the thoughts running through your head, until--
'' Traveler! '' A familiar voice called out to you, making your head turn towards the direction of the noise. It was non-other than Heizou, the detective you have met during your travels around Teyvat. '' Fancy to see you here. Was certainly not expecting you, '' he'd say, proceeding to take a spot next to you and leaning against the railing as well, his gaze focused onto you.
What a perfect moment to ruin your moment of peace. However, sparks of curiosity rose in you, causing a tilt of your head and one simple question to leave your lips. '' As to why I'm here.. Well, perhaps you can try making a guess. '' Mischief glimmered in the mists of his olive greens, beam now on his face.
Tons of options popped into your head, them being endless. There would be as to many reasons why'd he'd suddenly arrive. Going along with your bestest guess, that would earn an audible hum from the detective, amused at your choice of answer.
'' I see. That is quite the answer you got there, but not the correct one- '' Heizou said, making a slight change to his current position. '' -The truth is.. I am here to see you, Traveler. '' You could catch him giving a small wink, before returning to his casual smile. '' An answer you weren't expecting, huh? Your expression tells me all, '' he continued, finishing off his sentence with a chuckle.
You were left speechless for a brief moment, before giggles left you as well, the atmosphere filled with joy and laughter between the two of you. Heizou's hand reached out to the side of the railing, where a single Cherry Blossom branch laid, just in reach, allowing him to grab it and hold it in his hand. The petals were soft, as expected of such.
