Has been two years since the attempt to erase the digital world by yggdrasil, the royal knights were doing their best to make their people trust in them again, working as the protectors of their people again.
Omegamon was in the upper server data, as usual monitoring or being alone with the moving monitors, the last monitor were missing as the last time, since the alphamon sacrifice, others were still missing, dukemon was the one who most went out in travels, patrolling and helping other digimons.
Magnamon were still the most close to yggdrasil, his personal secretary as omegamon thought.
Omegamon left the room in a sight, alone as usual didn't had any other thing to do, didn't wanted to left the server, would be good to take fresh air time to time.
When omega left the communication room, one of the missing panels finally reappeared, in complete silence, just in a dim light, to unite all the others.
Omegamon felt a chill when he felt a presence he knew so familiar before, appearing out of nowhere. In an instant, He turned around abruptly, blurting out a few words without even thinking.
-” Alpha...mon...."
His eyes widened when he realized that it was indeed him. The lost knight who fought as a comrade against yggdrasil had returned.
“ -Omegamon... “
Omegamon was alone at that time, dukemon was patrolling, and magnamon was administrating on the other side of the server.
Omegamon was so stunned that he fell silent before he could ask anything.
-" it took you your time to come back ”
-"is nice to see you again"
Alphamon agreed with him with tender Eyes, this time his voice has a bit more hoarsely, since this time his evolution took the right amount of experience, he had time to mature naturally, his evolution wasn't a rushed by need.

Alphamon surprised a bit as well, he didn't noticed his own voice till he talked, he teleported in the moment he evolved.

Magnamon appeared from behind of them

Omegamon just was listening all that was happening, not knowing if he could say something
" i am not so sure if i can ... " join" i thought all of you were previously selected."
- " you were selected in the moment of your hatchling, Alphamon, and we also would need a handy 4th active member, i will tell yggdrasil."
-”Omegamon, show to Alpha his new data space"

Magnamon as fast as it came they went out.

Alphamon tried to cut out the silence,
"I didn't had planned to be a royal knight, I think...It's a little late to refuse now. "
" Did you really thought we were going to let you go? Just like that, saying who you are? "

Omegamon just stood a bit annoyed at alphamon active refuse to be part of them.
-”Humn”" alright let's go," Omegamon walked away, Alpha followed him closely.
looking at omega, almost scanning him, he noticed he didn't changed since their last meet about two years ago, his slender long legs, his stretched long waist, wide chest, his narrow hips, which stood out with the slender spine giving him the sensation of bone hips, the antennas with these cute lightning bolt design on the helmet and that immaculate white over all his body armor. And his eyes, those big rounded eyes, a precious emerald color, He was very pretty and fancy to his eyes, no signs either of x antibody change
Omega noticed the glance,
-" what?, there’s something on my armor?"
" o-oh ! Sorry, it's just, when I sacrificed, and I gave you my x antibody...I…thought, but haven't changed, I..”

Omega blushed a bit more harder than before, looking away tried to reply casually,

Omegamon was just looking at him with his big eyes, hearing and noticing that, in fact not only alpha didn't forget him, he also wanted to see him again.

Alpha just could see how omega almost runned away from him, a bit confused of his behavior, but was better give him time
Omegamon He was having a mental fight over his own thoughts.
“Why do I feel so upset…This is going to be alright... but I have felt something so different about him since our last meeting. He feels annoyingly attractive, like a magnet.”

Omega felt so confused, squeezing his metal garurumon arm toward his chest

On his room, alpha were still stood up, thinking all that were happening,
Royal knights… Working with the other of them.. being ygdrassil pawn, a big responsibility could recall on his hands. He wasn't sure he was ready for this job.
but he would be able to work with omegamon, and dukemon, dukemon were a light on the dark times, his heart was always on the right place, he will never forget how he came and saved him and the rebels.
Working with omegamon, will be interesting as well, he were still disappointed he didn't had time to see him in his x antibody, but those big green eyes were pretty as ever, enough for him, exactly as he remembered… he was also aware he shouldn't show to omegamon yet his interest about him, He hoped to be able to get along with the grumpy pure white knight as partners first. Some other memories were still encrypted in his mind about him, but he could see the nice side of omega clearly on it.
Dukemon arrived from one of his usual patrols and noticed that magnamon were more busy than usual.
-something happened?"
" Something", -yes, Alphamon is officially a royal knight, for us, the 4th active member
" -oh, Alphamon,I see" ..." ALPHAMON??!!
-"The famous myth of the royal knight apparently is back "

-he should be in his new room now, if you want to give him the welcome, i know you want, and you are going to do it anyways.
Dukemon wouldn't be happier to hear they will have a new member to the team, and that also means that dorumon could evolve again !
-but,I do not assure you if he is still in this network, knowing omega they could probably had a fight and Alpha could leave again"

On the way to check the new member, dukemon spotted Omegamon in a corner with his overthinking look.
" Something happened?, old friend?"
- ah ! Dukemon ! How did your patrol go?
- pretty nice nobody tried to attack me this time! “ a tender smile could be seen through his eyes

Dukemon after give support to his friend went to alpha's room “ magnetic aura, what he would meant with that” thinking to himself, omega never showed a weak side to anybody, this was new for him.
This should be the room” " Helloo !” I am dukemon, one of the royal knights. Can I enter ?
- Dukemon ?!
- Dorumon !?
- I am actually now Alphamon, Alpha was a bit shy
- aaa I am so happy! you're now with us !! Look at you , and you're also so big !
When he evolved last time dukemon didn't saw his appearance, since he was fighting yggdrasil minions in the digital world.
- thank you, even if I was an Alphamon before, everything feels so new for me.”
A soft chuckle could be heard by both
- how is Omega treating you? Don't let the grumpy mon make you down, just have him a bit more patience, if he tries something just tell me!”
- thank you Dukemon, but you don't need to worry, i just think he's a bit overwhelmed by my presence”
- he said something?”
- not really, he just seem upset”

- that's kinda adorable”
-Dukemon couldn't hold a laugh, it is ! but don't dare tell him that, he could get more upset! Hahah

Alphamon was so relieved he would have a real ally here, Dukemon was always so kind and heroic, always thinking in the goodbeing of the others, but strict when necessary.
-let's talk later, shall we? I, dukemon, have to go now, Visit my room anytime ! See you!!
Dukemon left the room and alpha just sighs in relief, maybe he can give an opportunity to be a royal knight after all.
Could be tough now, but it is a new chapter in his life, he should visit with friends to tell him the news.
Chapter 2: A new beginning

Magnamon prepared an improved reunion to clear and formally welcome alphamon, at the meantime
Dukemon slipped and was gossiping with omega “ i went to alpha”
-humn?,”
- "and i checked the thing you told me”
-"And what do you think?”
- "I think you should be more kind to him. ”
-”Duke…”
-“ i personally think you two would be great partners, he seems worried about you”
-Worried ???, for me?
He tried to act though, but dukemon already knew him so well he was actually interested to hear more about it, omega instinct was kicking like a brick after alpha apparition, didn't helped he were incredibly alone, and felt like that, his only friend were dukemon who were more interested to be a hero.
-”Exactly, he also asked me if his presence were overwhelming you, because you looked incredibly upset out of the nowhere “ dukemon eyes were judging omega,
-"It can't be helped, this is how i always look!”
- "but do you really feel that ?”
-"huh n..no.. I told you I feel the contrary,.. a magnetic presence, ahgg i wish i could understand all of this,” he were already getting mad
-" maybe it is because you two are polar opposites? I mean your names… fits.. extremely and coincidentally well.”
- "If you say dukemon”
- "you two maybe are different heads of a same coin, even.”
- "where did you learned that, i tried to investigate as well, I don't think yggdrasil would be so perverse to make a counterpart for specifically me.”
Dukemon were just watching with tired and relaxed eyes
-"Do you really trust ygdrassil? Even after all that happened”
Omegamon just rolled his eyes, this conversation is getting to nowhere and the reunion will start soon
"Just try to do not be so grumpy, he already left us one time”
"Like if he could kill himself with his oryuken again.. . Ok, ok i will do.”

As soon the reunion started, alphamon presence didn't make it to wait, an stoic and rough looking,
Dukemon and omegamon were frankly surprised because both of them saw him being nice and almost shy, he now looked, like a rock, like a dangerous being that you could fear in their presence,
Omegamon was the most intrigued and didn't stopped to look at him, even alphas voice sounded more stoic and cold than before, just talking when needed, and staying in silence most of the time
He wanted to be close to that man, a fast thought crossed his mind and tried to avoid it, alpha with that cold eyes looked really handsome, he could thought, but never admit, the black just added a mysterious aura, to the point to ask himself if he is really that small dorumon he tried to kill before, alphamon looked at him, omegamon didn't hides his eyes, alpha didn't mentioned anything, but and discovered that he never looked away from him, alpha just continued answering magnamon inquiries, omegamon finally looked away, and noticed his mistake.
Alphamon was having a terrible effect on him and happened not even two days
He just runned to to the digital world to take some air and change ambient.
duke called him through his communicator to chat about the reunion.
-"Did you notice that change in alpha as well right?”
-"Yes, i noticed that as well", omega tried to sound uninterested, which he were trying to lie to himself
"He seems like he would be a very interesting addon to the team, very professional and expressionless to serious moments"
"Do you think he was just about to renounce and quit? I talked with him before and he was very sweet,”
"I don't know dukemon, maybe he just was nervous,”
"You should try to talk with him, maybe he is just nice with us only "
That actually may would make sense, alpha can only low his guard with people he knows but that would mean he comfortable enough with both of them to do that
"Ok, i will try."
"Copy that!"
He didn't had time to hang off, when alphamon appeared right behind him
"Omegamon”
Omegamon heart jumped to his throat,
"Oh !! for ygdrassil Don't do that!"
Alphamon just closed his distorsion bridge where he appeared, i apologize i..
Omegamon just looked at him with garuru hand in his chest ,
"I saw you a bit lost in the reunion and you runned off i was a bit worried, are you ok ?"
-"I am alright."
