_____________
"Ugh…"
A young blonde pale female child could be seen slowly waking up from her unconscious state, gently opening her silver-blue eyes.
"Stupid Sis, told you to be careful with the chemicals…"
As she tried to move, she soon found out that she couldn't, making her tired eyes go wide in both shock and confusion, struggling more as she was tied to a chair.
"Wait a minute, this isn't our hideout?"
Though being tied up to a chair was only part of the problem, because once she got a good look around, she realized that she was somewhere very unfamiliar, a dark and mysterious place, with a barely working light, just enough for her to see all the tools and rusty blades that could be seen either hanging on the walls or lying on the tables.
"You know, usually I don't go after children."
However what truly caught her attention was a certain someone who was in front of her.
"I mean older teens and young adults are already pushing it, but I don't like involving kids in my test."
The person was just outside the light source, not to mention their back was facing her, plus wearing a black cloak with red trim didn't help much, so it was difficult to see who it was.
"Since usually, they're too young to understand what makes life precious, and sometimes their mistakes can be forgiven, I can't fault them for their innocent nativity and lack of development."
The only clue she got was their voice, which revealed that the mysterious stranger was male, though that's all she could get from him.
"But you, Junko Enoshima."
Luckily for the one known as Junko Enoshima, such a mystery wouldn't stay hidden for long, as the stranger finally turned around and revealed a lot. Firstly, he revealed what he was working on, which seemed to be some kind of bear trap device, but built differently.
"You make it difficult to ignore someone like you."
The other thing that was revealed, when he fully faced her while removing his head, was an older gentleman, a way older man, with white hair, light wrinkles, and very pale skin; he looked like someone who could be her grandfather.
"Wait a minute."
Yet for Junko, instead of seeing just another old man, what she saw filled her with so much curiosity and interest, as if she knew who he was, but couldn't just remember who he was.
"Being kidnapped, meeting someone who gives life advice, being somewhere creepy and surrounded by deadly items and devices."
The more clues that entered Junko's analytical mind, the more she was starting to remember and realize who she was talking to.
"JIGSAW!~"
Which soon made Junko gasp in absolute wide eye shock once all the puzzles fell into place.
"Or should I call you John Kramer?~"
As Junko now recognized the older man as Jigsaw, aka John Kramer, hearing such an infamous name, usually associated with the notorious serial killer, would cause extreme fear and dread in any normal person who knows him.
"OMG! I am such a huge fan of your work, you have no idea!~"
But not Junko, instead of looking at Kramer with an afraid expression, she looked at him with absolute and even uncomfortable admiration and excitement, as if she was meeting some kind of superstar idol.
"I just really love how you brutally torture and even kill some your subjects, all because they don't enjoy life!~"
Junko just wasted no time expressing her love and fascination for Jigsaw, who just simply sat in front of her and listened to her rambling.
"I even based my Monokuma project after your Billy puppet."
However, as Junko was speaking to the Infamous serial killer, something dawned on her and made her realize something.
"Hold on, am I your next Victim?!~"
Junko, again, gasps after coming to such a realization.
"Oh Yes! This Is So Exciting! You Have No Idea How Happy And Scared That Makes Me!~"
Again, Junko looked at Kramer with stars in her excited eyes, as if given the opportunity to do something she would consider, "Fun", in her own twisted way.
"So what's my challenge? Where's my personalized death trap that will force me to hurt myself and give me either long-term disability or death?!~"
Junko continues to ramble on and get more excited at the possibility of what could be in store for her when it comes to playing a "Jigsaw Killing Game".
"Oh! Oh! Maybe this involves my Sis, and how I either choose my life or hers, hm, to be honest, I'm not entirely sure, I mean either or would bring me nothing but problems, I mean if I die, I won't be able to get a chance to do stuff I work so hard to accomplish, but if I kill my Sis, well, that would just makes things more harder without her loyalty, even if she's stinks like a sweaty dog… But That Just Makes Things So Interesting!"
The serial killer could only raise an eyebrow when he saw how much more excited that Junko was getting.
"Come On John Kramer! Let Me Play Your Games! I Wanna Hear Your Infamous "Live or Die" Quote! Bring Out The Billy Puppet In His Red Tricycle!"
Some might call it a kind of sexual pleasure, judging by how much Junko quivers in excitement, with a bright blush on her face and a lewd smile, drooling all over the place.
"SO ME TRUE DESPAIR! COME ON! DO IT! DO IT! DOOOOO IT!"
Junko was basically begging Kramer to perform his usual "Games" on her, clearly wanting it so badly that she might suffer in the hands of his sick, twisted methods, which he might have in store for her. She just couldn't hold in her despairing joy anymore.
"... No."
Sadly for Enoshima though, instead of experiencing true despair, John just simply refused to indulge her desire to be a part of his twisted games.
"H-Huh?"
The potential excited pleasure in Junko was immediately replaced with absolute confusion.
"While I know the many horrible things that you have done, as well the many things you plan to do."
John leaned back on his chair and gave a light glare at the Ultimate Despair.
"You don't meet my requirements to be a part of my game."
As soon as John said this, the blonde child's face started to turn red again, though not from excitement or pleasure again.
"E-Excuse Me?! I Don't Meet Your FUCKING REQUIREMENTS!?"
Junko then bursts into uncontrollable rage.
"WHAT LOAD OF BULLSHIT IS THAT?! DON'T YOU KNOW WHAT I DONE?! HOW MANY LIVES I'VE RUINED?! AND HOW MANY MORE LIVES WILL BE RUINED?!"
Any respect and admiration that Junko had for Jigsaw was immediately replaced with loathing and hate.
"You said it yourself, you know what I have plans in the future! In fact I can tell you even more ideas and objectives I have if you need more reasons to see how horrible of a person I am! SO DON'T BLUE BALL ME LIKE THIS AND GIVE ME THE DESPAIR I RIGHTFULLY DESERVE!"
But no matter how much Junko yells or how many negative feelings she had for the serial killer, he just still kept the same unmoving expression and let out a small sigh.
"And that's the reason why you don't meet my standards to be a part of my test."
John then stood up from his seat and walked away from Enoshima.
"Everything I do, is meant to give those that play my games a 2nd chance and a new appreciation of life."
John grabbed a lever and moved it up, turning all the lights of the room on, and revealing much more in the room.
"It challenges their will to live, as well as give them hope to continue living after such hardship."
The Ultimate Despair saw multiple pictures, noting that they were all of John's victims, some of whom survived but lost something in return, like an arm or an eye, and others who died very gruesome deaths, with the only thing recognizable being the puzzle symbol cut into their flesh, a representation of them missing the will to live.
"Yet you, you're different."
John picked up a random death trap device, which still had flesh yet dried up blood on it.
"No matter what I do, no matter what game I make you play, and what type of sacrifices I force you to make, it will not change who you are."
John pulled out a rag and started to clean the simple machine.
"Even the most heartless of my players still have the desire to live."
Once John finished cleaning the device, he turned around to face the blonde child again, who was suddenly seen standing before him, holding a razor blade and looking at him with eyes full of hateful killing intent.
"But you, you don't even care if you live or die."
Yet despite Enoshima somehow escaping being tied down and currently threatening to kill John, he didn't react at all and just continued to calmly talk down to the one aiming the blade at his neck.
"Because by your logic, it will bring you nothing but despair, which goes against everything I look for in my subjects."
The more John speaks and criticizes the Ultimate Despair, the angrier she gets and wants to kill him and be done with.
"So what would be the point in making you participate in my challenges, if it will only give you what you want, whether or not you win or lose my game."
Yet, after John finishes what he wanted to say to the blonde child, who could only glare hatefully and ragefully at him, thinking of all the ways she could kill him and make him feel absolute despair.
"... So is that it? I'm not worthy enough to be a part of your whole "Jigsaw Saga", bwah, what a load of crap…"
Junko just simply let out a breath of defeat and moved her razor blade away from Kramer's neck.
"I don't even have the motivation to kill you anymore, what a way to ruin my day..."
Junko slumped forward and just looked, well, just disappointed and lifeless, like a kid who lost their excitement in life and just could only deal with it with an annoyed pout.
"We're both a disappointment for each other I suppose."
Enoshima could only scoff at John, turning away from him and starting to walk away.
"Whatever, I'm out of here…"
Though just as Junko was about to leave, Jigsaw suddenly said something that instantly caught her attention.
"Which is why we would make a perfect team."
What John said made the Ultimate Despair pause in her step.
"Say what now?"
Junko quickly turned around and looked at the serial killer with newfound confusion and interest.
"While it's true, you won't make a good player in my games."
John walks up to the blonde child, all while reaching into his cloak.
"But when it comes to making games with me, that's a different story entirely."
John then pulls out a big envelope and handed to Enoshima, which she takes and takes a look inside.
"... What are you getting at?..."
Junko was now filled with curiosity after she realized that the envelope was filled with her plans for the future, and how she would go about it.
"I already mentioned that I know what you plan to do in the future."
The Ultimate Despair looked back up to John.
"And I must say, I'm interested in making those ideas into a reality."
And she was able to see an expression of pure fascination on John's face.
"R-Really?"
"Of course."
Junko took a moment to process what John had just said to her.
"I… Don't know how to respond to that…"
And even when Junko forced her smart mind to work overtime to understand what Kramer said to her, she was still left with blanks of thoughts.
"Then let me make myself clear."
John brought up a hand and lifted up the face of the blonde child and made her look up at him, looking straight into his eyes.
"Allow me to be a part of your grand plan, and give me the freedom to change and include some of my own methods in your design."
Enoshima was already shocked to hear John wanting to be a part of her grand scheme for the future.
"And in exchange, I'll make you someone who is worthy to be a part of the "Jigsaw Saga" you so desire."
But what truly made her go wide eyes in wanting and despairing hope, was when John mentioned how the Ultimate Despair still had a chance to play his infamous games.
"... You promise?..."
"Cross my heart."
Junko didn't know what to say, she honestly wasn't sure how she should process what John had promised her, yet even if she had hesitation and unsure feelings, she knew one thing.
"OK then, it's a deal."
It will still end up with despair for Junko, looking back at Jigsaw with newfound motivation and determination for the future.
"Partner."
Junko reached out a hand to John, which he took and gave it a firm yet gentle shake, symbolizing the beginning of trust between the two, and the type of future they would make for themselves, as well as for those in the world they live in together.
"I look forward to our new future."
"Me too."

Just so you know, I'm messing with the timeline of both Danganronpa and SAW, you know, to make this story work, like how John is still alive and managed to kill a few people, while Junko is still a kid but did a lot of horrible things for the sake of despair, so yeah, I hope this will be ok.
(I do have plans, but I'm open to suggestions on how to write this story, like I think this should focus more on Danganronpa with some mix of SAW elements, but I'm not sure, what do you think and suggest for this story?)
Chapter 2: Despair And Life

_____________________
“Ow, my head…”
A young boy, probably an early to mid teenager. Though that might be because he's short. He has spiky, desaturated brown hair with a prominent ahoge, and washed-out hazel eyes. He wears black jeans, a zipped-up dull green hoodie with a red stripe along the zipper, an open black jacket with gold buttons, and red sneakers with white toes. He was known as Makoto Naegi, and he was barely waking up from his unconscious state.
“H-Huh? Where am I?...”
Though when Makoto did wake up, he realized that he found himself in a classroom, much to his worries and confusion, especially when he saw empty it was, the windows being sealed and covered by metal plating, and seeing cryptic and unusual writing on the chalkboard, this was enough to freak him out and desperately try to leave the room.
‘Well, this is very unsettling…’
Even though Makoto left the creepy room, he didn't really feel much safer or comfortable when he found himself alone in the big hallway of the large supposed building he was in.
‘I definitely don't feel welcome in Hope's Peak Academy…’
Luckily Makoto knew where he was, the only source of comfort was knowing that he wasn't entirely lost, knowing more or less where he was, though he was still freaked out by all of this.
‘Where is everyone? Aren't there supposed to be more students here?’
Just as Makoto had these thoughts, he suddenly heard the sounds of a small crowd of people nearby, which he wasted no time following and soon found himself in the Auditorium.
“Oh look, the last student.”
Much to the immense relief and reassurance, Naegi was able to find more people, most of them seemingly were students like him, though a small few were obviously not, but either way, once he knew he wasn't all alone in this situation, he wasted to time walking up to the group, to both meet them, hopefully getting along with them, while also taking the chance to see if anyone knows what was going on.
“That should make 14, well, 16 if you include the strangers.”
One of the first people that young boy meets was a young girl, seemingly the same age, probably older. She has brown skin, blue eyes, and wears her brown hair in a very high curled ponytail accessorized with a paperclip-style barrette. She wears blue dolphin hotpants and green sneakers, a white tank top, and a red tracksuit jacket with white piping. She wears knee-length white socks, a red knee brace over her right knee, a band-aid on her left knee. She was Aoi Asahina, aka “The Ultimate Swimming Pro”.
“Hopefully this means the wait is over and answers will be finally given to us.”
The next person that Naegi met was another young boy, a teenager as always. He has pale skin, lapis blue eyes with noticeably long eyelashes, and has chin-length blonde canary yellow hair. He wears a black suit jacket over a white shirt and lapis blue crossover tie. He also wears black dress pants accessorized with a black belt, and black dress shoes with a slight heel. And he has a silver pocket watch in his suit breast pocket. This was Byakuya Togami, aka “The Ultimate Affluent Progeny”.
“I must agree, the situation we find ourselves in is quite unpleasant.”
There was a pale skin girl, with red eyes, and gold spherical earrings which have an image depicting the cross engraved into them with a red gem placed in the center in each and long black nails. She wears a gothic lolita-style outfit, consisting of a white blouse with a long-point collar, a black jacket that includes white ribbon lacing down the sleeves, fastened by a simple white ribbon across her chest to reveal her red tie and a many-tiered skirt with white lace. knee-high stockings trimmed in ladder lace with a black ribbon on the opposite side of the other for each, dark red mary janes with a thick heel held on her feet by three gray buckles, a white lace headband, and a silver, Gunmetal plated ring layered in overlapping sections on her index finger. This was Celestia Ludenberg, aka “The Ultimate Gambler”.
“I-I'm sure everything will be explained… Hopefully…”
The next “Female?” has a small, lithe stature and doll-like appearance with short, light brown layered hair and hazel-colored eyes. “She?” wears a girls' winter school uniform set, featuring a long-sleeved dark green jacket, a white shirt with a large Peter Pan collar secured with a thin dark ribbon, suspenders, a box-pleated, mid-thigh length brown skirt, knee-high black socks, and white, ribboned mary janes. “She?” was Chihiro Fujisaki, aka “The Ultimate Programmer”.
“You know, this reminds me of a game I played recently…”
He has an overweight figure, with large hands, thin legs, and a face that comically resembles a hamster. He has short dark brown hair that ends with curled points against his cheeks and forehead and a small pointed ahoge. Wears a pair of black, thick-rimmed glasses. He is dressed in a white button-down shirt, an orange tie which has a patterned vertical double-headed blue arrow design, a pair of dark gray trousers, and gray trainers. Over his shirt is a light gray, unbuttoned cardigan and on his back is an orange backpack. This was Hifumi Yamada, aka “The Ultimate Dōjin Author”.
“NO PLAYING GAMES IN A SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT!”
He has short, spiky black hair, large and long matching eyebrows, and intense red eyes. He wears a military-style white Japanese school male uniform with five golden buttons on each sleeve and five on his chest, a red and bronze medal above his right breast pocket featuring his Former High School symbol, yellow epaulets, a red, black, and white armband, and knee-high black lace-up boots. This was Kiyotaka Ishimaru, aka “The Ultimate Moral Compass”.
“Dude, can you like chill already?”
He has dyed orange spiked hair, a goatee that's tied into a small ponytail, and pale blue eyes. He wears a white dress shirt with the collar popped up, a white shirt with a red grunge skull design, black jeans, and white platform shoes with a black sole. The accessories included a padlock chain necklace, two overlapping studded belts, rings, and an oversized safety pin on his lapel. He has several piercings on his labret, his tongue, and six in his right ear. This was Leon Kuwata, aka “The Ultimate Baseball Star”.
“Yeah yeah, big whoop, we have another person trapped with us, can we look for an exit already?”
He has slightly tanned skin and a tall, muscular build which gives him a bulky figure. He wears his hair as a dark-brown punch perm with a styled-1960s pompadour. His pompadour is approximately fourteen inches when compared with his shoulder width which can be estimated to be around fourteen inches. He has a deep-ridged black eye-line circling his purple eyes, which gives him an intimidating appearance. His outfit reflects that of a typical Japanese biker gang member, consisting of a high-collared black long overcoat, adorned with the symbol of “The Crazy Diamonds” along with a dragon symbol motifs colored orange on the back and side, worn open over a white A-shirt. He wears baggy black pants held up by a belt and his shoes are white loafers. The buckle of the huss belt is shaped like the face of a Komainu. This was Mondo Owada, aka “The Ultimate Biker Gang Leader”.
“Unfortunately from the looks of it, it seems unlikely we will find one so soon in the near future.”
She is 6'4" and weighs 218 lbs, making her the largest of her classmates. Her large build, deep voice and stern appearance often causes to be mistaken for a man. She has long white hair, reddened-dark skin; very pale blue eyes, and a scar on her face and right shoulder. She often wears her expression with a slight frown. Her school uniform consists of a traditional seifuku style Japanese school uniform consisting of a white shirt, a blue sailor collar, a short blue skirt, and a red tie. The sleeves on the uniform are torn off to make room for her muscular upper arms. She wears bandages wrapped around her calves and forearms. Her shoes are gray and resemble Uwabaki. Sakura Ogami, aka “The Ultimate Martial Artist”.
“Come on, don't be negative, especially since I already predicted that we will find a way to escape in the end, and I'm usually 33% never wrong~”
He has light brown skin with stubble on his chin and thin dark brown eyes. His dark brown hair is styled in locs that stick out as large points and seem to be bent backwards. As his uniform, he wears three layers of shirts, the top one being a green Japanese male uniform jacket he wears on his shoulders, the second one being an open button down white shirt, and his third layer is a small yellow short-sleeve shirt. He wears a brown haramaki and uses a yellow rope as his belt to hold up his large black pants that are rolled up past his ankles. He also wears sandals. On his left wrist is a beaded brown bracelet. This was Yasuhiro Hagakure, aka “The Ultimate Fortune Teller”.
“Wow, ain't that impressive and incredibly helpful…”
She has long dark purple hair which she keeps in two braids behind her, gray eyes and large wire-rimmed round glasses. Her outfit is a typical purple Japanese school uniform with a noticeably lengthy skirt compared to those worn by other girls. This was Toko Fukawa, aka “The Ultimate Writing Prodigy”.
“Yes? Do you need something?”
She has purple eyes and a pale complexion. She wears her long light lavender hair down with a single braid on her left side, tied with a black ribbon. Her outfit consists of a dark purple collared blazer jacket with six brown buttons over a zipped up long-sleeved white blouse and brown tie with a bird-like symbol on it. She also wears a black short skirt, heeled knee-high black boots with equally knee-high light purple socks. She notably wears custom-made black studded gloves. This is Kyoko Kirigiri, a “Unknown Ultimate”.
“Oops, sorry…”
Makoto quickly looked away as he started to avoid Kirigiri, as well as the rest of the entire classmates. Even though he was glad to have found more people, he couldn't help but feel like he didn't belong here.
“Man, I feel so out of place being surrounded by all these Ultimate…”
Makoto sighs as he plans to find a place to sit back and just wait until he is either needed or if something else happens.
“Makoto is that you?!~”
But before Naegi could leave, he quickly turns around and meets a slim girl of average height with a pale complexion. She has long, dark blue hair flowing past her waist, the hair framing her face cut shorter at elbow-length, with bangs swept to the right. Two thin hair clips can be found pinned on her bangs to her right, another pinned on the left side of her face. Her eyes are round and dark blue, likely enhanced by makeup. She would be considered very attractive, a near doll-like beauty. She wears a white seifuku school uniform with a blue sailor collar and sleeve cuffs, both striped with two white lines. With this, she wears a light pink ribbon tied in a large bow at her collar and a short, pleated, blue-green plaid skirt. Her legwear consists of navy thigh-high socks, the edges striped with a white line, and dark brown Mary Janes with silver buckles. This was Sayaka Maizono, aka “The Ultimate Pop Sensation”.
“S-Sayaka? Is that really you?”
Makoto couldn't help but be surprised by this, not only was a famous Ultime talking to him, but said Ultime was someone he was able to recognize and be somewhat close with.
“I'm really glad to meet a familiar face.”
And from the looks of it, Sayaka was able to recognize him as well, despite being such a normal boy.
“Y-Yeah, I feel the same way…”
Makoto didn't really know how to feel about this, glad to have someone to talk he could remember, but was still nervous with their differences of status.
“So, how have you been these days?”
But seeing Sayaka trying her best to talk to him, especially in such a casual tone, Naegi decided that it was OK to actually talk back with her.
“Oh, um, good I guess, though I bet my normal boring life can't compare to yours.”
Not to mention, with all that was going on, Makoto could really use a familiar face to help calm himself down at the moment.
“Oh no! I came off as a snob didn't I?...”
Though that idea was completely ruined when the normal boy managed to accidentally make Sayaka cry, which made him panic and quickly try to apologize.
“N-No wait! I didn't mean it like that, I just-”
“Just kidding~”
However, much to Makoto surprise, Sayaka seemed to be faking it, quickly revealing her face that was supporting a goofy silly smile, this oddly enough was able to make him feel completely relaxed and happy, as of genuinely glad to just have a friend to be so causal like this with him.
“Find, then I take back what I said~”
But before Makoto and Maizono could just have just some friendly bantering, having a chance to properly catch up with one another, both were suddenly interrupted by the sound of clicking and the sight of flashing light.
“Don't mind me, just saving a cute moment between a Idol and a random school boy~”
Both teenager turn their head and meet one of the few adults here, mid to late 20s, maybe even very early 30, he had pale skin, had jeans, a white shirt with a striped open shirt over it, though what made him stood out was him being American, judging by his accent despite speaking Japanese, and having a black camera, which he used to take pictures with.
“Oh, are you an Ultimate Photographer?”
Sayaka couldn't help but ask with a tilted head and curious expression, only really popping the question since the man was in Hope's Peak Academy.
“Nope, just a freelance journalist, taking pictures and investigating for whoever pays me more.”
The normal photographer just shook his head, and was about to take another picture, but stopped when someone placed a hand over the camera and pushed it down, away from the two teens.
“Sorry for my friend, hope he wasn't bothering you.”
The other only adult here was another young man, seemingly the same age as the freelance journalist, though he had blonde hair, wore a silver suit, and was also American, though unlike the other man, who had a somewhat, “Invasive”, personality, the blonde seemed a bit more, neutral, he wasn't a heartless person, was even slightly charming, but others can tell that he wasn't much of a people person.
“N-Not at all, right Sayaka?”
Makoto couldn't help but feel nervous again, of course not wanting to judge a book by its cover, but the situation wasn't really helping at the moment, only able to stay calm and rational thanks to his friend.
“I don't mind the picture taking, though I hope you ask permission next time.”
As for Sayaka, also not wanting to judge people, even talking to them casually, but it was clear she wasn't someone who would stand her ground and not take anything lying down, which both adults got the message, especially the camera man, aiming his device away and stepping back.
“I'm Lawrence Gordon, most of my friends call me Larry, I am a doctor who specializes in helping those with cancer, though if you need any medical help, you can come to me for that.”
Lawrence Gordon, also known as Larry, decided to break tension by introducing himself, while having a more neutral personality, he had no reason to be all antagonistic, preferably to have a friendly relationship with the people he was stuck with, instead of being someone that could bite him in the butt later.
“Of course you already know Adam Faulkner-Stanheight.”
Larry also took the chance to introduce his fellow American himself, who just simply waved hello.
“If you excuse me, I'm gonna ask permission to take a picture of She-Hulk over there, I'm sure people would pay top dollar for that monster of a woman.”
The one known as Adam Faulkner-Stanheight decided to take the chance to look around more, in the hopes of meeting with others and maybe taking their pictures, most sigh and shake their heads at this.
“Hey, do you mind if I ask you something?”
Makoto also took the chance to start talking with others, specifically with the only adult here, hoping the oldest one here would have some answers.
“Of course.”
Which Larry had no reason to refuse, willing to listen to what the Naegi had to say.
“Do you know what's going on here? Why did I suddenly wake up here? Or why every exit or windows are sealed off?”
Makoto had only hoped at least one of his questions and worries could be answered, having at least some understanding of their situation. Sadly for him though, Lawrence could only sigh in defeat and shake his head.
“Your guess is as good as mine.”
Though before the normal boy could express disappointment and lack of hope for the situation from what Larry had just said, everyone, all the Ultimate and average people, were suddenly interrupted from their own talking and conversation when all suddenly noticed two certain individuals entering and walking on the stage of the Auditorium.
“Um, I think we're about to get the answer to your question.”
Sayaka, as well as all the other people here, suddenly felt dreaded concerns when they saw that the two mysterious strangers walking on the stage were people wearing dark robes and wearing pig masks, which definitely made everyone either disturbed or afraid.
‘I never been more afraid of pigs until today…’
Makoto specifically felt uncomfortable and fearful as he, as well as the others, watched the two pig strangers set up a microphone, speaker and standing desk with a “Hope's Peak" logo on it.
“Tada!~”
A moment later, everyone was either surprised or very startled when a black and white teddy bear popped out from behind and landed on top of the desk, flashing his cheerful grin and evil smile.
“Testing, testing, one two, can anyone hear me?”
Everyone stood in silence as they watched the talking, moving bear test the microphone he had.
“Hello my lovely people of Hope's Peak Academy, hope you've been well today?~”
Once checking the microphone, as well as making sure he had everyone's attention, he wasted no time speaking with the people here.
“AND BEFORE YOU ASK! NO I AM NOT A BUILD A BEAR TEDDY REJECT!!!”
Though before anyone could fully comprehend who or what the teddy bear really was, everyone was quickly interrupted by the sound of someone taking a picture, that said someone being Faulkner.
“Sorry, I couldn't help myself…”
Adam realized that now wasn't the best moment to be doing this, so he put his camera away and just started listening with the others and paying attention to the black and white living toy.
“ANYWAY! As I was saying, I am your Principal and Headmaster of this academy, Momokuma!~”
The teddy bear, who quickly introduced himself as both Monokuma and the principal Headmaster of the Hope's Peak Academy.
“Please bow and greet your better.”
Monokuma bows and properly greets the people here.
“Greetings Headmaster Monokuma! A Pleasure To Meet You!”
Though it seems that only Kiyotaka Ishimaru bowed before the Principal, while the rest just stood by in silence, still unsure on what's going on.
“Eh, guess that will have to do…”
Monokuma sighs and pouts from not getting the proper respect like he wanted from the people here.
“U-Um, Monokuma sir, c-can you please explain what's going on here?”
After having a moment to fully process what was going on, some of the students, specifically Chihiro, took this chance to ask the supposed Headmaster what was going on.
“Yeah! Like Why Can't We Leave!”
Though some were more violent when expressing such emotions, like Mondo.
“Or Who Are Those Pig People!”
Others were afraid like Toko.
“Or Where's The Other Students Or Teachers?! Or The Real Principal For That Matter!”
And the rest were just really confused about everything that was going on, like Yasuhiro.
“Yes yes, I know all of you have your questions and confusion that needs to be addressed and answered.”
While Monokuma simply waved away their concerns and worries, it was very clear that he held little to no regard for the people here, as if could care less about their comfort or even safety.
“Well, who better to explain your situation than your one and only teacher, plus my personal BFF, BILLY!~”
In fact, Monokuma showed more interest and enthusiasm in introducing his so-called friend, who slowly entered the stage on his red tricycle.
‘A puppet?’
Makoto, as well as everyone, shared the same confusing thoughts when they suddenly met their so called teacher known as Billy, who seemed to be a puppet, who wear a black suit, black hair and even black eyes, with a mix of red in the eyes and on his white cheeks, while the puppet did freak out most of the people here, it was hard not to be disturb by its looks, most just didn't know what to say about this, just looking at the Teacher in confusion.
“N-No, it couldn't be…”
“Oh dear…”
“Jigsaw…”
However, what was truly concerning for someone like Naegi, was when people like Adam, Byakuya and even Kyoko showed genuine concern, and even slight fear, towards the puppet, as if now fully understanding the dangers they were.
“Hello everyone, I want to play a game.”
Once Billy parked his red tricycle and looked at everyone, he wasted no time speaking and explaining what was going on.
“As you can already tell, every possible way to escape has either been locked up or blocked, making it practically impossible to leave this academy.”
And what Billy said so far, was definitely something no one wanted to hear, only increasing the fear and worry they all already had.
“Y-You mean we're s-stuck here?!”
Sayaka, as well as the others, knew that it was difficult to escape, but being told and confirming the idea of being unable to leave, well, it left most feeling completely helpless.
“Aw, don't be like that, we have the proper funding and resources to meet your needs and keep you all comfortable, think of it like a fancy vacation home that will last forever~”
Despite Monokuma trying to sound comforting and reassuring, it was very obvious he was taking joy and pleasure at the misery both him and his BFF were making.
“That's Not The Point! We Have Families And Friends! We Can't Just Stay Here!”
Aoi begged to be released.
“I demand you let us out now, unless you want to feel the wrath of the great Byakuya Togami.”
While Byakuya was more demanding, it was very evident that everyone wanted to leave and not be trapped here forever.
“I mean, I guess we could let you out~”
Though what Monokuma said next definitely catches everyone's attention.
“Wait, really?”
Hifumi and the others were surprised by how easily the teddy bear accepted their request for freedom.
“Well, that's if you follow the rules and complete challenges of our little game~”
But of course, it was never easy, judging by the way Monokuma spoke to them in such an untrustworthy tone and mischievous smirk.
“... What do you mean by that…”
Once Celestia asked a question everyone was thinking about, several devices suddenly appeared and lifted themselves out of the ground, all coming in shapes and sizes, as well as having the names of all the Ultimate Students, all except for Naegi, Gordon and Stanheight, confusion and suspicion were shared by everyone here.
“If you truly want to leave your new home, then all you have to do is make a sacrifice.”
Billy continues to explain the rules of the game.
“W-What kind of sacrifice?”
Kiyotaka nervously asked.
“You Ultimate are valued and measured by your exceptional talents.”
Billy looked at everyone, mentioning and calling out those who are Ultimates.
“But would you be willing to give up all of your privileges and be recognized as nothing more than a normal human being on this Earth, for the sake of your freedom?”
After Billy finished explaining, most of the Ultimates didn't know what to say, there were a few who clearly didn't want to give up what made them, “Them”, while the others, who were more willing to make the sacrifice, couldn't, only for the simple fact that they didn't know how this “Sacrificing Their Ultimate” would work, so were hesitant because of this.
“Hell, don't have to tell me twice! I've been looking for a opportunity to give up my Baseball Star career!~”
However, it seems one certain individual seemed very interested at the idea of giving up their Ultimate title, specifically Leon, who not only saw this as a chance to escape Hope's Peak Academy, but a way to finally leave a career he truly wanted to leave behind.
“Leon! Wait!”
Sakura and others tried to stop Kuwata, but it was too late, as he walked up to the machine that had his name on it, reading the instructions of placing both of his hands inside the device.
“Hey guys, did I ever tell you that I always wanted to be a part of a rock and roll ban-AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!”
Though as soon as Leon both of his hands into his assigned test, he was immediately rewarded with having said hands be instantly cut off and removed, causing him extreme pain as the device released the now former Ultimate and letting him fall to the ground.
“LEON!!!”
Everyone didn't hesitate to rush towards Kuwata, who just continued to scream and bleed out on the floor.
“M-MY HANDS! THOSE MOTHER FUCKERS TOOK MY HANDS!!!”
As Leon cursed out to the Principal and Teacher, the Doctor wasted no time treating his injuries, removing both his belt and tie, using them to tightly tie up the ex baseball player arms, cutting off circulation and preventing further blood loss, Ogami also helped but ripping off her own bandages and using them to wrap around the bleeding stump.
“AHAHAHAHAHAHA! I can't believe he actually went and gave up his hands for freedom!~”
As this was happening, Monokuma took this chance to both mock and laugh at the landless Kuwata, hate and fear were shared and aimed towards him.
“YOU MONSTER! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU!”
Mondo especially took this chance to walk up and roughly grabbed the Headmaster, no doubt planning to get violent with him.
“HEY! ANY HARM AIMED TOWARDS ME IS COMPLETELY FORBIDDEN!”
Monokuma then went limp, as if turning off, when his red eye started blinking and flashing red.
“Why is it beeping?”
Mondo and the others were at first confused by this, though it only took Kirigiri a moment to immediately realize the danger.
“Oh No! Throw It!”
Once Kyoko said this, Owada didn't hesitate to listen and throw away the bear high in the air, which then exploded a moment later.
“N-No way…”
Safe to say, everyone, specifically Mondo, were starting to slowly realize how dangerous everything was starting to be.
“Please refrain from harming your Principal, Teachers, and our Security, as well as any other rules we put in place, or consequences will be dire.”
Billy took the chance to warn everyone about the consequences when it came to breaking the rules.
“Yeah! So consider that a warning you brats!”
Monokuma instantly popped back out from behind the curtain and landed on the stage, glaring at everyone and showing off his claws in a threatening manner.
“As I was saying, if you don't have any desire to give up your Ultimate talents, then you could always make a different kind of sacrifice.”
Billy then continues explaining, as the floor open up again and reveals three more machines, catching everyone's attention.
“Makoto, Adam, and Lawrence?”
Though what stood out to most, specifically to Larry, as he tended to Leon injuries, were the names on the devices, making the owners of said names look on with dread and more fear.
“W-Why are our names on this… Thing?”
Adam took a step back, wanting to be further away from the machine that had his name on it.
“We like to call it “The Rack”, it's a personal favorite of ours~”
Monokuma felt particularly proud of the machine that was causing the three so much fear.
“A-And what does it do?”
Makoto instantly regretted asking this question.
“It twist, starting with your arms, then legs and finally the head, it's quite a brutal way to go, if I do say so myself, Upupupupu~”
Monokuma chuckles sadistically and causes even more discomfort among the crowd.
“As I mentioned, Ultimate are given a lot of privileges, including getting away with murder…”
When Billy mentioned this, he couldn't help but glare at Fukawa, who flinched and looked away, as if understanding what he was talking about.
“So there should be nothing wrong with sacrificing those who are considered untalented and normal, since they obviously don't compare to those who have the skills or power to make a difference in the world.”
Billy looked back at the rest of the crowd as he finished explaining the 2nd test.
“Y-You're sick, how can you make us do this?”
Sayaka tried to speak up in defiance, though her shaking voice and whimpering tone made it difficult to sound brave.
“We're not forcing you to do anything, you could just live comfortable lives in this academy, we're just telling you a way to get out, the choice is yours.”
Billy once again reminds them of the choices they have and how it was all up to them to decide what should be done.
“However, there is one last way to leave this place!~”
No one seemed interested in hearing what Monokuma was talking about.
“What, you're not gonna ask what it is?~”
Monokuma playfully pouts when no one asked what he was offering.
“I'm sure it's gonna be just as horrible as the last two options.”
Celestia crossed her arms and glared at the teddy bear.
“Well too bad! I'm telling you anyway!”
If Monokuma had a tongue, he would've blown raspberries at them.
“It's Some Good Old Fashioned Murder!~”
But just as expected, what Monokuma suggested was very horrible indeed.
“Stabbing, strangling, bludgeoning, crushing, hacking, drowning, igniting, how you do it doesn't matter, you must kill someone if you want to leave, it's as simple as that, the rest is up to you, give it your all to achieve the best outcome in the worst way possible!~”
And Monokuma made sure to hammer in such a horrible solution to their offal situation.
“Though keep in mind, the one who actually commits the murder and gets away with it will be allowed to leave, while the rest will stay.”
Though Billy made sure to clear up and properly explain the rules for committing murder.
“T-This is s-so horrible and m-messed up…”
Chihiro wanted to do nothing but hide away and cry, hoping everything was just a bad nightmare and they would wake up from it.
“Welp, that concludes today's entrance ceremony, Piggy 1 and Piggy 2 will hand out your Hope's Peak guide books, it will contain your personal information, as well as the rest of the rules you need to follow, so read carefully~”
With nothing more to say, and Monokuma having his fill in watching the fear and misery, he quickly jumped on the back of his BFF red tricycle and held the puppet close.
“Let's go Billy, I am craving some pancakes with honey~”
Just as Monokuma and his BFF were about to ride away off the stage, both were quickly stopped by a certain unknown Ultimate.
“Before you leave, let me you ask this one question.”
Both the Headmaster and Teacher looked back at Kyoko, who was a bit shaken up about the whole thing.
“Why are you doing this?”
But Kyoko still had the confidence, courage and determination to glare back at the Principal and Counselor.
“Oh, well, you know~”
Monokuma looked back fully at Kirigiri and at the crowd.
“Despair.”
And in one simple answer, Monokuma managed to make everyone tense up and back away or flinch in fear.
“... And you?”
Kyoko was the only one who had the nerve to stand her ground as she then looked and asked the puppet next.
“Your will to survive and live.”
However, unlike creepy teddy bear, Billy answers seemed more, “Positive?”, hopeful even, though that didn't stop everyone from being afraid.
“For those who still wish to have education or in need of counseling, please meet me in your classroom.”
After finally finishing explaining everything to everyone, Billy continues to ride his red tricycle off the stage and behind the curtain, all the while the Headmaster waved goodbye to everyone.
“Good luck everyone.”
And with that, once all was said and done, after Billy and Monokuma had completely disappeared, everyone who just heard about the situation and officially processed what was going on, well, let's just say any hope they had was quickly disappearing and leaving nothing behind but the beginning of despair, including for someone like Makoto, who just couldn't stop shaking and sweating, holding his breath and refusing to believe everything was actually happening.
‘And with that, the game of life and death… Has begun…’
_____________________
My idea is that sometimes it will focus on the player characters, other times it will explore the relationship between Junko and John, aka the Gamemasters.
(BTW I decided to include Lawrence Gordon and Adam Faulkner-Stanheight, I mean since this takes place in the first Danganronpa game, might as well include some first Saw movie characters to~)
[JUST TO LET YOU KNOW NOW! I'll probably not do Danganronpa X SAW 2 and 3, the main interest and idea of this story is to focus on Junko and John, while making Danganronpa 1 a much scarier game for the Players, HOWEVER! You do have my permission if you want to write Danganronpa and SAW 2 and 3, add your flavor, my advice would have Danganronpa X SAW 2 be about Amanda Young and Mukuro Ikusaba, and Danganronpa X SAW 3 be about Mark Hoffman and Tsumugi Shirogane]

/Flashback\
"H-Hm…"
In a somewhat empty confined room, with a single light bulb to light up the room, a young girl could be seen slowly waking up. She had fair skin with freckles adorning the bridge of her nose and distinctive purple-gray eyes. Her short black hair was fashioned into a stylish bob. What truly stood out about her was a certain device attached to her face. She immediately noticed it and went wide-eyed in shock after regaining full consciousness.
"About time you woke up, Mukuro Ikusaba."
However, that wasn't the only thing that the one known as "Mukuro Ikusaba" noticed. As she turned and looked at the person standing before her, she saw another young girl, maybe older than herself. The girl wore a simple casual blue shirt and jeans pants, had pale skin, and short messy hair.
"You can call me Amanda Young, not that it will mean anything to you."
Shocked soon turned to anger once Mukuro saw the one known as Amanda Young, and she was about to stand up and personally confront the woman before her.
"I would recommend not doing anything too drastically, not like you can since you're all tied up."
Unfortunately, Mukuro realized she couldn't do anything, as she was handcuffed and tied to a chair. Even if she could move, Amanda highly advised against it.
"That thing on your head is called a "Reverse Bear Trap", a personal favorite of mine."
Amanda even started explaining why it was such a bad idea.
"And here's an example of what will happen if you don't follow any rules I give you."
As well as Amanda, the end result was those who were so-called "rule-breakers". She stepped aside and showed Mukuro a dummy head with the same device on its head, but with its jaws completely ripped open.
"Ready to play a game?"
Once Mukuro understood fully what her situation was, she had no choice but to sit still and just listen to what Amanda had to say next.
"Your Sister, Junko, is currently talking to my Teacher, John, or what you might know of him as Jigsaw."
Which was hard for Mukuro to do, especially when Amanda mentioned that Junko, her Sister, was with a very dangerous man known as "Jigsaw".
"I don't know what they're talking about, but given her reputation, she might be in the middle of a game, and I can only hope she fails at it~"
Amanda smirks smugly at Mukuro, which only fuels her rage even more so, no doubt wanting to kill the woman before her and go save her sister.
"With that said, here are the rules for your game."
Though once everything was explained about what was going on, Amanda started to talk about what will matter for Mukuro specifically.
"Since you're nothing but a gullible idiot to your Sister, John might decide to forgive you, "Maybe", but don't get your hopes up, you might still be given your own "Test" most likely."
Amanda hums as she imagines the many options and "Games" she could put Mukuro through.
"Either way, all you need to do now is just wait and see, an easy win in my opinion."
But Amanda didn't act on such desire and instead let Mukuro know what she needed to do to win.
"If you can't do that, and you decide to, somehow, get up from this chair, then you will have about 60 seconds to realize how stupid you are before, well, you can probably guess what will happen next~"
Amanda reminded Mukuro of the consequences if she decided to break the rules and lose the game, which only made Ikusaba glare harshly in response.
"Amanda, I need you."
However, before anything more can be said and done, a radio on Young's hip could be heard, as the voice of John Kramer, aka Jigsaw, could be heard, requesting her presence.
"I'm on my way."
Which Amanda didn't hesitate to do as she was told, quickly removing herself from Mukuro and started to leave the room.
"It might seem you won't need to wait long, see you in a bit~"
Though not without Amanda giving Mukuro one last taunting and mocking remark, before leaving her completely alone in the room.
'There's no head clamps, and it's not particularly tight, so the only thing preventing me from removing it are the hooks in my mouth.'
But once Mukuro was alone, she wasted no time analyzing her situation, specifically how her trap works.
'And the string on my head is what starts the trap.'
Mukuro also found, what she assumes, starts the trap, jiggling her head to feel a string slightly tugging at her device.
'Alright, it should be simple enough to get out of this, and to save my Sister.'
Once Mukuro fully understood her trap, she knew what she needed to do next. She took a deep breath, mentally preparing herself. Feeling more confident and ready, she started her escape plan.
First: Mukuro dislocated her hands and wrists, so that she could slip them out of her handcuffs.
Next: After Mukuro freed both her hands and snapped her wrists and hands back into place, she got to work untying and removing the rope from her body.
Then: Now unbounded and less restricted, Mukuro now begins with the hardest part of escaping, which was attempting to remove the "Reverse Bear Trap". First, she started by grabbing her lower jaw and instantly dislocating and breaking it from its socket, which allowed her to push her lower jaw back enough to reach and feel the hooks. With all her strength, she began pushing, twisting, or bending the hooks. This caused the hooks to cut deeply into her fingers, causing intense pain and bleeding. However, Ikusaba tried to ignore it and focus on trying to escape.
Lastly: With the hooks now moved in such a way that was more plausible to escape from, Mukuro grabbed the trap and took another deep breath, before quickly, and very violently removing the device from her head. Even though she moved the hooks just enough to be able to escape, it still caused her to break her front teeth and tear her lips. However, in the end, she was still able to remove the Reverse Bear Trap and throw it to the floor, which set off and popped open.
'S-Save Junko…'
Mukuro pants and breathes heavily, taking a moment to recover from what she just experienced, including popping her lower jaw back into place. After catching her breath, she hears the door opening and sees Young entering the room.
"Lucky you, looks like John-"
As soon as Ikusaba saw Amanda, she didn't hesitate to charge and pounce at her, pinning her to the ground and wasting no time delivering a very brutal beating to her, punching her face multiple times, resulting in a broken nose, knocked-out teeth, and even horribly messing up one of her eyes. Once she had a chance to vent out her anger, she grabbed her hair and roughly pulled it up, making them both look at each other face to face.
"Wekr Mphy Siktr!?"
It was difficult for Mukuro to speak, but it was very clear that she was asking for her Sister, though the bloody woman just responded with a weak chuckle.
"Y-You should've just waited~…"
What Amanda said only angered Ikusaba, raising back her fist and was about to deliver another punch, and probably break her bones too.
"I'm impressed she managed to escape one of my traps."
But all the feelings of bloodlust and violence were quickly interrupted when Ikusaba heard the voice of John, causing her to tense up.
"She might be an idiot and smell like a wet dog, but my Sis is still a badass~"
But what truly made Ikusaba go wide-eyed and shocked was when she heard the voice of her Sister, Junko Enoshima, she quickly turned her head and saw her standing next to Kramer.
"Y-Yir ok?..."
Now Mukuro was both very happy to see Enoshima safe and sound, and beyond confused and worried when she saw her sister standing next to the one known as Jigsaw.
"Yup, me and my new Partner we're just discussing some new plans for the future~"
Junko smiles brightly and nuzzles up against the older man, who just simply pets her head in response.
"P-Perner!?"
Mukuro was now left in stunned silence. She knew that her sister was, well, "unusual," but to see her willing to be with Kramer, as far as to call him "partner," she just didn't know how to process this.
"Yup! So be sure to listen to John whenever he ask you for something, ok?~"
Junko giggled as she let go of Jigsaw and went up to her very speechless Ikusaba, helping her up and supporting her with her shoulder.
"And please get along well with Amanda."
And John helped up the unconscious Amanda Young. Once both masterminds helped their loyal helper up and started moving her away, no doubt to give her medical care and treatment, the two started talking with each other again.
"So John, I was thinking, maybe we could use both your Billy and Monokuma for something funny~"
Though Junko and John had a conversation about future events, Mukuro could only stare blankly at nothing, as she fully processed what she was just told, and just, she didn't know how to handle it, especially with the idea of working with Amanda Young, which she couldn't help but glare and hate with a burning passion, but said nothing more and just did as she was told… No matter how much it upset her.
"..."
/End Flashback\
"And with that, the games have begun."
"Hehe, look at all the despair on their faces, SO EXCITING!~"
In a hidden camera room with over a dozen monitors and TV screens, Junko Enoshima and John Kramer sat, watching the actions of all the Hope Peak Academy students and three guests. They were both curious to see what would happen next and what kind of decisions the students would make, whether it would lead to a hopeful life or a despairing death.
"I Told You To Read The Names On The Handbook Before Giving It To The Students! Now We Looked Like Idiots!"
"Well It Was Hard To See Wearing These Stupid Pig Masks!"
Though before the Ultimate Despair and Jigsaw could continue watching the Ultimates and three Normals, the sounds of shouting caught their attention. Turning, they saw Amanda Young, who wore an eyepatch over one eye, and Mukuro Ikusaba, who had nasty scars around her mouth and a missing tooth, walking into the room. They were removing their pig outfits and arguing with each other. John and Junko just watched as the argument continued into the next room, leaving the two masterminds in complete silence again.
"... Well they seemed to be getting along well."
"Mhm."
_______________________
I was thinking of having both Mukuro and Amanda as secrets, but I decided against it, wouldn't really change much, also since the story also focus on the relationship of the Ultimate Despair and Jigsaw, it would just make things unnecessary, so yeah, the family is all together, hehe~
(BTW, while I do plan to follow the story of Danganronpa, don't expect me to be 100% with it, some things will be ignored and skipped if its not important or a waste of time, though with that said, I'm still open to suggestions and advice if anyone has any~)
