Chapter Text
Her dark red hair whipped around as she ran through the forest. The ground was soft from the recent rainfall. She had to pay attention to the roots and brush below foot as she continued. The fog didn’t help.
She could hear the panting behind her. The soft whimpers. A howl. She cursed.
She took a turn too fast and slid in the mud. She scrambled to her feet. Mud caked her hands and legs from the fall.
She turned back. She saw several red glowing eyes chase after her.
Sifkni stopped and turned. A familiar scent caught her attention. She couldn’t stop the guttural growl that escaped her throat. She let her transformation take over.
“You’ll meet your end here.”
Sifkni charged at the man in front of her. He laughed as he dodged her claws. She growled. She snapped her jaw towards him. She huffed when it missed.
“You’re not the only one who’s been blessed by Hircine.” He doubled over as she transformed.
Sifkni’s eyes widened. The golden wolf before her was a behemoth. He had been a large wolf when he was alive and now, the giant wolf towered over small trees.
“I’ll be sure to deliver your corpse to Hircine.”
“Not if I can kill you first! I’ll kill you. No one will remember you.” She stood at her full height. “No one will remember Thonro.”
