Notes:

First time writing fan fiction, especially for the supernatural fandom so bare with me.

I'll try to do weekly updates as I write and tweak the chapters. Chapter one may not be my best work so please try not be too critical.

sorry if characters act out of character, i'm going to be honest and say I haven't finished the show.... but I couldn't sit on this story for much longer or I would've just half-assed posted it on wattpad.

Jack kline may not act like their usual self as this is based off Lisa Frankenstien

Chapter 1: Strange

Chapter Text

Jack Kline is lonely.

Jack’s life has been confusing lately, They had no friends and no life outside of school and work. His dads (Castiel, Dean and Sam) had grounded them going on hunts after they made a huge mistake on an important hunt and ruined the whole plan, they were shunned for a week by Dean and his girlfriend Sheila who hated Jack for what seemed to be no reason. Jack had to get a Job.

They were working in a tanning salon, earning minimum wage and dealing with rude customers who looked like walking cheetos. Jack felt like a failure, they lost most of their powers on that horrible hunting trip so their life now felt meaningless like being dead would make them more useful to their family. Bobby told them it was just teenage angst that was making them feel like this, Dean and Sam had the same phase as them but Sam was an emo and Dean tried to be punk to make himself feel more masculine after transitioning.

The tanning salon was crappy, everything was old and broken. Dean fixed tanning beds for the place to make up to Jack for grounding them. One bed was seemingly fine, it was in the last room of the salon that no one really went into. Jack sat in there a lot, reading about zombies, re-animation, reincarnation and so much more to do with death.

Today Jack leaned against the tanning bed and POP! It shocked Jack.

Jack was walking home alone in the rain, cold, wet and getting over being shocked. The walk from work to the bunker was surprisingly short, they used a shortcut through their favourite graveyard, saying hello to their favourite tombstone and giving him their ring they’re currently wearing, a gift from their mom.

“You can have this…” Jack smiled “It was my moms but you can have, maybe you can give it to me one day”

Dinner was ready when they got home and Sam and Gabriel were setting the table, the bunker had suddenly become more homely when sheila moved in but the homelyness was more of a facade to Jack.

“Well look who finally showed up!” Gabriel waved at Jack while hazardly holding a stack of plates. “What took you so long kiddo?”

“I got shocked by a broken tanning bed” Sam and Gabriel looked at them wide eyed “Don’t worry, it wasn’t that bad”

The shock on Sam and Gabriels faces wore off and they continued to set the table, Jack sat at the adjacent library and picked up their book on the history of the town. They were trying to figure out who their graveyard friend was but it seemed like he never existed, they’re two hundred pages in and still couldn’t find anything. Jack couldn’t look up the gravestone name as it had fallen off years ago. Jack had gotten distracted by the book and not noticed the fact that their family had sat down at the dinner table until Dean slammed down the biggest book he could find in front of him, Jack yelled in surprised.

“you finally back down on earth there kiddo?” Dean Laughed while they both sat down at the table.

“They were probably thinking about Blake Harvey~” Claire grinned at Jack, holding their fork up. Everyone else at the table looked at Jack with curious faces.

“Shut up Claire!” Jack death stares Claire while she laughs behind her hand.

“Hey, be nice Jack,” Castiel turned to Jack, with his usual straight face look. “Who is this Blake person, Jack?”

“Their crush~” Claire smiled, raising her eyebrows. “Are you thinking of getting yourself screwed silly by Blake?”

Everyone was shocked, Dean and Sam choked on their food and Gabriel and Claire laughed, well more like cackled. Jack shook their head and spoke up.

“Oh my… why…” Jack put their head in their hands and sighed. “He’s in my science class and runs the school magazine”

“Schools still have those?” Dean laughed, finding it funny.

“Yeah, Jack’s little crush is the chief editor of that out of date magazine, they’ve even sent in poetry” Claire finished her food.

“When did you start writing poetry?” Sam said, covering his mouth as he was mid bite.

“I’m grounded and bored all the time, I need a hobby” Jack shrugs, finishing most of their food while everyone else at the table avoided eye contact with them, all still feeling bad about what happened, everyone but Sheila.

“Anyway, Claire bear was telling us that you two are going to a party tonight, sounds fun!” Gabriel changed the topic which was desperately needed as the silence was unbearable.

“Claire said it would be good for me to make friends” Jack shrugged, looking down at their plate, they were vegetarian and the vegan steak put in front of them looked like mushrooms blended then stuck together.

“Well you two better be responsible and stick together” Sheila pointed out between the two, Jack never liked Sheila but they agreed with this.

“I agree, I think Jack sticking with me and my friends is a good idea” Claire smiled at Jack, reassuring him with that smile.

An hour later Jack is standing in front of their bathroom mirror, looking down at the things Claire gave them. A collection of black makeup and hair products like hairspray. Jack was dressed in black ripped jeans, a Def Leppard shirt Dean had gifted them and combat boots, they think they look alright but also felt like this outfit wasn’t their style.

Jack picked up the black eye shadow and started to apply it to their eyelids and under their eyes, they looked like a raccoon but they thought it looked nice, they then hazardly applied eyeliner and mascara while hoping not to poke an eye out. They then just spiked their hair, thinking it looked horrible but they didn’t have time to change it now as Sam yelled down the hall telling them it's time to go. Jack rushed out of the bathroom and raced to the front door, leaving quickly to avoid criticism about their look as they felt they looked stupid. Jack got into Claire’s car, and she laughed a little, It made them feel ugly.

“oh my… you look like a damn raccoon!” Claire laughed loud, starting the car while trying not to cry from laughing. Jack honestly wanted to cry.

The party was mostly outside and crowded, Jack didn’t like it, too many people stared at them and made passing comments on their looks which hurt. They felt like crying. They stood next to Claire and her friends, a group of people that Jack didn’t know well but Kaia was there so Jack smiled at her. They didn’t care much for the conversation and were feeling left out. Jack decided to excuse themself and go get a drink, it was all alcohol so they weren’t going to have much, they didn’t like to drink. Jack did once try a cigarette, they thought it was kinda gross but Sam did catch them and gave them a long talk.

“There’s more booze inside” A voice from behind Jack said

“I know, my step-sister brought most of it, Dean’s gonna kill her” Jack turned around and immediately shut their mouth. Blake Harvey “Blake…”

“Hey Jack” Blake smirked, he’s holding a beer in his hand.

“you know me?...” Jack smiled wide, but stopped quickly because they felt like it looked weird.

“Of course I do, you sent in a lot of good poetry” They both smiled at each other before one of Claire’s friends, and Jack's bully, Susie. A goth girl who was in a few classes with Jack.

“Thanks…” Jack so badly wanted to ask him out at that moment.

“Hey Blake!... jack…” She was holding a cup. “Do you want this Jack? It’s good.”

“Uhh, well…” Jack wanted to reject it, feeling like they were being tricked

“Oh right, you probably don’t party. probably too boring-” Susie smirked as Jack suddenly grabbed the cup and drank almost the whole thing before the world began to spin. Jack dropped the cup and started to back up as they looked up to the sky, they were drugged.

“What was in that? Does it have drugs in It?!” Jack heard Blake speaking, he sounded so mad.

“not much!” Susie yelled “Only like a little bit”

Jack stumbled around the party, the world going a shade of green and spinny. Claire suddenly ran up to them, holding onto their face and saying something about calling Dean but Jack couldn’t pay attention to her face, it was so blurry, and without them realising she had walked away. Jack walked into the even more crowded house and fell to the floor in the less crowded hallway. The world spun faster and faster around them and it was making them nauseous, it felt like being on a teacups ride that was put onto max speed. Jack held onto their stomach as they went pale from Nausea.

“Hey, are you okay Jack?” A boy crouched next to him, A nerdy looking boy wearing suspenders.

“Who are you?” Jack pinched at the boy's face, smiling at him.

“I’m Mark…we sit next to each other in Science and History… We've talked to each other multiple times. I did your homework last week” Mark helped Jack up, holding them up so they wouldn't fall.

“Oh… sorry” Jack laughed

Mark led Jack into the master bedroom of the house, it was empty, Mark was rambling about how he hated parties. As soon as Jack and Mark made it into the bedroom Jack rushed into the bathroom and threw up into the bathroom toilet, Mark stood behind them.

After they were done and led them back to the bed. Jack looked up at the ceiling, smiling at the pink paint until… they felt Mark touch them, their inner thigh and then their crotch, Jack stared wide eyed at him. Jack felt gross.

“Oh come on…” Mark grabbed Jack’s hand and moved it to his own crotch. “You know that you want too?”

Jack stood up quickly, rushing out the room as Mark yelled after them.

The world spinned even more and became more unbearable as Jack began to spiral. Jack left the house and he heard the sound of the impala pulling up from the distance and Claire yelling, they couldn't hear anything but the voices of their family trying to find them, but the sound became distant as Jack walked far away from the party while hallucinating the clouds turning green.

They crashed into trees and branches, which scratched at their face and arm which caused small cuts. They continued to stumble through the forest, the sound of their families yelling distant but closer, until they made it to the graveyard, green storm clouds forming in the sky. Jack walked up to their graveyard friend, holding onto the statue of his face and smiling wide, stroking their face. A life underground with him, dead and still, sounded much better than their current life. Sounded more quiet.

“I wish i was with you…” Jack smiled wide at the statue, moving their face closer to the statue, planting a kiss on his cold stone cheek. They let go of the statue and stumbled back

“JACK! JACK!” Sam, Dean, Cas, Gabriel and Claire ran up to jack. Jack faced towards them, all of their faces were blurry and voice's echoey. As soon as the approached them Jack fell into Castiel’s arms.

Jack was then carried away, the sound of the music made them know they were out of the forest and away from the graveyard. Jack tried to reach back to the graveyard, wanting to return to their friend and be with him. Thunder and lighting soon covered the noise of the music as Jack was put into the back of the Impala, vision blurry and heart rate rising, Jack grabbed onto the nearest person and stared out the Impala's front window with their mouth agape. Dean, Sam, Castiel and Gabriel spent the whole drive trying to calm Jack down, reassuring them they'd done nothing wrong. The last thing jack could remember before passing out was Sam tucking them into bed.

Their eyes shot open, everything was black and white, they were dreaming. Jack sat up in this black and white dream slowly, looking at every creepy detail, like a framed photo of his mom waving at him, a raggedy Ann doll in a crib and a chandelier made of axes and sewing needles, they were also wearing a 1800s ball gown and a tall wig which Should've made sitting up difficult if Jack wasn't in a dream.

Jack's eyes then set onto their statue friend who sat on the edge of the bed looking out the window at the moon which slowly barrelled towards them. Jack sat up and sat next to him, looking at his expressionless stone face. He put his hand out and offered them his hand and gum, Jack grabbed his stone hand and the gum exploded into a burst of blood, covering them both in a thick layer of red, as they moved closer to one another watched out the window as the moon with a face grew closer and closer. Blood dripped off their clothes and faces as the world ended.

Jack then woke up in bed…

Chapter Text

Jack’s makeup had run down their face and they looked like a mess, the memories of last night coming back to them in one horrible second. Jack stood up, looking down at last night's outfit and sighing, they just decided to leave their room to go get coffee. The hallway lights gave Jack a headache and then the sound of his family's voice made them cover their ears, they turned the corner into the kitchen where everyone stopped talking and stared at Jack.

“Hey kid, are you okay?” Gabriel handed them a hot cup of coffee which Jack drank quickly.

“No, I feel like my brain has been blended” Jack sat down at the table, on the verge of crying and looking like shit.

“That was very irresponsible of you to run away! You could've been hurt!” Sheila raised her voice, trying not to yell even though she obviously wanted to.

“I was drugged Sheila, can't make good decisions when the world Is fucking spinning!” Jack raised their voice, not in the mood to argue.

“Language Jack!” Castiel scolded them before sitting down next to Jack at the table. “But do you remember anything or anyone from last night?”

“Mark ... .and my friend” Jack rubbed their eyes, smudging their makeup onto their hands.

“Mark from history class? Did he do anything to you?” Claire asked, handing Jack another cup of coffee while they nodded.

“He's an asshole” Jack sipped their coffee. Sam tried to pry but Gabriel told him to stop.

“And who is your friend?” Dean was across from them, his expression worried.

“I don't know his name, it fell off his gravestone…” Jack finished his second cup of coffee.

“Your friend is a dead guy?” Gabriel Sounded intrigued, while everyone else looked at them like they're crazy. “is it the one we found ya next to? The headstone with the handsome statue?”

“Yeah, it's quite at the graveyard and I find him most interesting. At the bottom of his grave is carved the word ‘unmarried’. I read to him and talk to him… tell him secrets” Jack smiled wide, their mouth slightly agape and eyes wide open.

“You seriously need friends, kid” Dean stood up from the table with Sheila, leaving the kitchen.

“Anyways Jack, you can stay home from school today to recover. Deans allowed you to use the Dean cave while we're out on a hunt” Sam patted them on the back.

“Thanks” Jack stood up and walked back to their bedroom, too drained of energy to talk anymore.

Their room was decorated but not with much. The walls were painted black and all their furniture was from antique stores. Dean said there was no point in buying new when the old stuff was so cheap. Jack had a few stuffed animals sat on their bed which all acted as cushions for Jack, all except marvellous Marvin who Jack cuddled with at night. Band posters and drawings covered the wall their bed was pressed against.

Jack walked into their bathroom and washed away last night's makeup which now felt a massive mistake, they scrubbed until their face went red and sore. Leaving the bathroom, Jack changed into a pair of floral button up pyjamas, grabbed Marvin and a blanket then made their way to the Dean cave with a slow walking pace. Jack sat down and put on the TV, skipping through channels before getting to the local news.

“A gravestone in BlackHeart cemetery was struck by lightning last night, when police went to investigate to check for the possibility of a fire they found this…” The reporter moved to the side and pointed downwards, the camera moved with her to show that the grave had been perfectly dug up. “The grave of this unknown man had been dug up, and the body is missing. If you know or have seen anyone who has been to the cemetery in the last 24 hours call-”

Jack was shocked, he was just gone! Like the body just stood up and disappeared, like he was a zombie! “Oooo, I could watch a zombie movie” Jack got sidetracked quickly as they stood up to check Dean's DVD collection, that Dean constantly said to take good care of, and picked out a stack of zombie movies.

5 hours later (I got no filler)

Jack is sitting watching their 3rd zombie movie, Day of the Dead. They enjoyed the older horror movies more than the new stuff but sometimes they would find some original movies that aren't just remakes and thoroughly enjoy them.

Jack was eating peach rings and relaxing until the sound of someone banging on the bunker door scared them, making a chill run down their spine. Jack knew what to do, grab a weapon and be ready to defend the bunker. So Jack grabbed the nearest thing which was an umbrella that sat next to the Dean caves door that Sam left there and never moved it. Jack armed themselves and cautionary left the Dean cave.

Jack ran into the main room of the bunker, holding the umbrella like a bat and prepared to hit someone or something with it. The banging hadn't stopped, it got louder until whatever it was broke down the door and fell down the spiral staircase.

The Creature stood and Jack screamed in fear. It was covered in mud and had missing a hand, it looked like something out of the zombie movies they just watched. Jack held the umbrella up high and hit the creature on the shoulders a few times before it broke against him, splitting in half. Jack in their panic began to throw books, pens, decorations and anything else at the creature before running outside, the creature followed closely behind.

Outside Jack tripped over their own feet and fell onto their back with a thud, the creature then tripped over Jack and landed on top of them while Jack screamed. The creature then vomited a disgusting green substance all over Jack's face and shirt, it smelled putrid, like old milk and a rotten corpse.

Jack pushed the creature off of them, struggling to stand but eventually running back into the bunker and tripping over a chair which broke as it hit the ground. Jack eventually got cornered by the creature, they were shaking and scared until the creature reached their one remaining hand out, a ring sat in his hand, Jack's ring. They carefully grabbed the ring, keeping intense eye contact with the creature. Jack’s gaze softened when they realised who it was.

“It's you, from the graveyard… you're here” Jack smiled, looking down at the ring. “Why?”

The creature then held Jack's other hand, it took a while though because he was dead, and attempted to kiss it. The creature made a noise, like he's attempting to talk.

“Oh no… no no” They pulled their hand away, trying not to look too grossed out to not hurt his feelings. “When I said I wanted to be with you… I meant dead in the ground. Life sucks and I dream about it so much, being dead with you in the ground sounds better than life.”

The creature then began to cry, his tears smelled like garbage. “Oh God! that smells so gross” Jack gagged.

Jack grabbed his hand and dragged him into their room, leading him into their bathroom and turning the shower on. Adjusting the heat.

“This!” Jack pointed up to the shower head. “cleans you, you step under the water and it takes the mud off” The creature stepped under the water and Jack closed the shower curtain. “Take your clothes off! I’ll get you some new ones!”

Jack picked out a pair of black jeans, an AC/DC shirt, a blazer they had just sitting around and then a pair of shoes they never wore. They would clean the creature's original at night so no one would catch them with some random muddy clothes.

The shower turned off and Jack threw the clothes into the room, closing the door and yelling at him to be quick. Jack took their puke covered shirt off and threw it into the hall to get the smell away from their room as it was revolting.

They then sat down on their bed and pulled a nougat out from a box under their bed. They kept candy in their room to snack on at night. The creature walked out of the bathroom and sat next to Jack, looking much better than he did before, Smelling like Jack's apple scented shampoo and bar soap.

“So… are you immortal? All zombie movies say they are? Well… kinda immortal” Jack bit into his nougat.

The creature nodded his head.

“I wish I was immortal… I’m half angel but I recently lost most of my powers, including eternal life..” Jack sighed. “I would love to be a zom-”

“JACK KLINE!! GET HERE RIGHT NOW!!” Dean yelled from the other room.

“Fuck!” Jack shot up from their bed and grabbed the creature. “I’m sorry” They shoved him into their closet and then ran out of their room.

Dean, Sam, Castiel, Gabriel and Sheila stood in the main room, picking up pieces of broken items and books off the floor. As soon as Jack entered the room they got disappointed stares from all of them, all of them holding a broken item.

“We left you alone for six hours and you broke a door, a chair, a-” Sam began to list things off.

“I didn’t break anything! A ZOMBIE DID THAT!!” Jack yelled, frustrated with everyone.

“A zombie?” Gabriel smiled, “that’s so COOL!!” He walked up to Jack before backing off because of the smell of the zombie vomit. “Oh god… you stink.”

“Oh yeah… the zombie puked on me…then I…Then I killed it and set it on fire, he’s gone now!” Jack had to improvise that but they did good.

“Really?Did a zombie really do this? Or do you just want attention? you got a whole lot last night.” Sheila stared at Jack, her face looking like she just tasted a very sour lemon.

“What? Why would i destroy the place I fucking live for attention, If I wanted attention I would’ve asked for some!” Jack yelled at Sheila.

The two started to yell back and forth, then Claire walked in. The room fell silent, Jack looked like they were about to punch Sheila.

“Wow… awkward. Well, Hey Jack” Claire snapped to get their attention. “Mark told me he said Hi and would like to see you again.”

“TELL HIM HE CAN ROT IN HELL!!!” Jack screamed loudly before running to their bedroom.

Jack slammed their door shut, falling onto their bed and crying. Gabriel and Castiel soon knocked on their door, to check on them but Jack yelled at them to leave. They didn’t want to see their family right now, they wanted to be alone in their room with the creature.

Jack felt like the world was against them, like some horrible curse was put on them and it made them feel like they were going crazy.

Jack sat up from their bed, going to their closet and opening the doors to see the creature had manoeuvred himself in a strange tetris sort of way.

“Oh god, get out of there” Jack dragged him out. “I'll make this comfortable”

Jack’s closet was big enough to comfortably fit a sitting person but not to lie down in. You could maybe curl up into a ball but you wouldn't get a good night's sleep in there.

Jack gutted everything out of the closest, moving it into a corner of their room. Jack threw in their beanbag and a few blankets that sat under their bed, Dean and Sam kept getting them blankets as mini gifts from time to time.

“There we go! All ready for bed!” Jack led the creature into the closest, sitting them down on the bean bag. “Now, I'm going to bed. Don't move from here!”

Jack closed the closet door, feeling proud of their “room” decorating work for the creature.

Jack threw themselves onto their bed once more, grabbing their blanket and pulling up to their neck to stay warm. Jack hugged into Marvin and actually felt excited for the next day for once, usually they would be dreading school but having the creature made them feel better.

“Goodnight!” Jack yelled to the creature, getting a low growl in return from him.

Jack fell asleep, their bed so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud.

The room fell silent, Jack looked like she was about to punch Sheila.

Chapter Text

Jack had the black and white dream again, but instead of a statue sat on their bed it was a zombie, The creature. The dream went exactly the same but at the end they both laid down on the bed and smiled.

The dream had gotten weirder but Jack didn't mind, they woke up feeling happier than ever actually. They stood up out of bed and threw the closest door open, ready to greet the creature but before they could get a word put, clothes were thrown right into their face.

“What the hell?” They looked down, seeing a dress they made themselves, tights and a leather jacket “I can't wear this”

Jack tried to hand the clothes back to the creature but he threw them back.

“It's too short” They tried once again to throw the clothes back but got them thrown back at them again. “You really want me to wear this?”

The creature nodded and then closed the closet door, leaving Jack with no choice but to wear the outfit he had picked out.

The dress fit Jack perfectly. It was black with a square neckline and long sleeves, the dress only reached just above their knees so they put shorts on underneath just to be safe. Jack put on a pair of boots, grabbed their bag and left their room, very nervous to see their family in this outfit.

“Good morning” Jack stood in the main room, feeling very nervous.

“Woah, looking cool kid!” Gabriel smiled at them, giving Jack a reassuring thumbs up.

“Nice dress Jack, but are you sure That's appropriate for school? We just don't want you getting into trouble” Castiel stood next to Jack, fixing their hair.

“Yes, I'm sure it's allowed, dad. I just thought I would wear something different today” Jack smiled at his dad.

“Good, glad you're not breaking any rules” Castiel backed off, smiling warmly at his child.

“Morning everyone” Dean walked into the main room of the bunker While eating a sandwich. “Nice dress Jack, suits ya”

“Thanks dean” Jack gave Dean a thumbs up

“No problem kid. Also, Michael and Adam are picking you up from school today, we'll all be out on a hunt but Sheila will he here so you won't be alone” Dean Tried to say that as nicely as possible, Sheila had just spent the whole night yelling about how Jack is crazy and now Dean finally understood why Jack didn't like her.

“Oh… that's fine, I'll just be in my room anyway” Jack shrugged their shoulders and smiled at Dean.
“Be back in a second, I'm going to get some breakfast”

Jack walked away. Dean put his head in his hands and sighed, he looked like he hadn't slept at all.

“I'm going to break up with Sheila tomorrow,” Dean finally said it. Everyone had seen it coming for a long time. “I just can't have her treating Jack like their insane”

“Can't say I'm surprised but… I'm glad your doing it Dean” Sam patted him on the back, sighing a sigh of relief because he knew that by this time tomorrow Sheila would be gone.

“So you're breaking up with her?” Jack walked back over to Dean, eating a single slice of white bread.

“How'd you even hear that?” Dean Laughed and put his arm around Jack.

“I have good hearing” Jack shrugged and hugged Dean. They then looked at Castiel and mouthed ‘ask him out!’ To him. Cas just shook his head and smiled, mouthing back ‘maybe’.

“Let's get you to school. Claire already left so it'll just be us five today” Cas rolled his Eyes at Jack.

He picked up the impalas keys, threw them to Dean and very quickly they were out of the bunker and on the road. Listening to Def Leppard while Jack explained his weird dream to Sam, hoping he could try and find meaning behind it.

“I'll have a look in sleep study books for you Jack, but that sounds too weird to be rationalised” Sam shrugged and put an arm around Gabriel.

“Why did gum explode into blood?” Castiel stared out the window, deep in thought about Jack's dream.

“It was probably a mix of too many horror movies and drugs.” Gabriel said, popping a lollipop in his mouth.

“I had the dream last night though?” Jack looked around the car.

“Have you been doing drugs?” Dean looked back at Jack through the rear view mirror.

“NO! I just had a horrible experience with them, I’m not doing anymore of them… I might get drunk in the future though” Jack laughed and laid their head back.

Dean laughed with them as he pulled up to school, parking out front.

“Now, be good today and punch any kid who bullies you!” Dean shouted back to Jack as he got out of the car.

“Will do deano” Jack shouted back, closing the impalas door.

Jack turned around, a gust of wind blowing behind them as the impala raced off. Jack suddenly became very aware of what they were wearing and felt the urge to hide away until the end of the school day.

People were already giving Jack strange stares, looking at them weirdly as Jack walked into the school building and rushed to their locker.

“Jack?” It was Kaia, she had the locker next to Jack. “Nice dress”

“Thank you!” Jack no longer felt self conscious. Claire and Kaia were two of the coolest people they knew, so now they knew they looked good.

“Hey Kaia, hey Jack. Cool dress” Claire ran up to them.

Claire held Kaia's hand, kissing her. At that moment Jack knew they had to go, walking away with a slow jog to make sure they didn't linger.

Classes went smoothly, Jack requested to move away from Mark in Science and the teacher allowed them to without problem. History wasn't a problem since they sat on opposite sides of the classroom but Jack spent the entire class avoiding eye contact though. The rest of the classes went smoothly, no troubles but a few questions about the party, Jack didn’t punch them but They dug their shoes into other people's feet. It was a fun day.

Meanwhile with the creature

It was the creature's first day alone with no Jack, and he hated it. No conversations with Jack, ones where they would talk about their crush and the creature would consider going back into the ground and never coming back out. The creature was in love with Jack, it was really obvious as the creature had given Jack a ring the first moment they met, trying to marry them.

The creature was walking around the bunker, looking into every room and touching every wall and turning lights off and on over and over again. He eventually got to the kitchen and hid behind the wall, Sheila was in there eating breakfast and drinking alcohol at nine in the morning, she was also talking on the phone.

“Mom this kid is insane, I thought I could handle the whole dean being trans or whatever, but this!! THIS!!! This kid is going to kill me! I’m going to have this kid put in a mental hospital!” Sheila was practically screaming down the phone. She eventually stopped. “I gotta go mom, I need the bathroom”

Sheila rushed out of the kitchen, completely missing the creature which made him question how she even became a hunter if she can’t even see a man in the hallway. The creature walked into the room and looked down at the bowl of food, the creature looked around to make sure no one saw and choked up a worm into her food. The worm hid itself away. The creature walked away quickly.

It made the creature smile when he heard Sheila scream so loud it could shake the whole world.

back with Jack

“Hey Jack!” Blake ran up to Jack while they were getting their phone out of their locker. “I'm sorry about the other day-”

“It's fine, don't worry about it” Jack groaned, happy to see Blake but upset about the party.

“I'll make it up to you” Blake handed them his number on a piece of paper. “I promise”

“Thank you!” Jack smiled at him, but as Susie approached they quickly walked off.

Walking to the school exit their phone began to ring loudly. Drawing eyes to them immediately.

‘Blood on her skin, dripping With sin, do it again. Living dead girl’.

It was their boss. Jack begrudgingly answered.

“I'm not working today, what is it?”

“can Dean fix a tanning bed for me?”

“.....fine!”

“cool, pick it up today!”

“wait-”

Their boss then hung up on them, not letting them plan ahead but only hoping that Adam and Michael brought their truck and that a tanning bed could fit in the back.

Luckily, when Jack left the school building, they saw their uncles waiting out front in their truck. Jack ran up to the truck, jumping into the back.

“We need to go pick up a tanning bed from my wok!” Jack threw his bag down onto the dirty truck floor.

“What? Why!?” Michael turned back to Jack, looking so incredibly confused.

“My boss needs Dean to fix it, Dean does it all the time. Don't question it much and just go” Jack pleaded with their uncles.

“Fine” Michael turned back and took off.

Michael and Adam now had different bodies, it happened 6 months ago. Michael now had black hair, bright blue eyes and very sharp facial features. Adam also changed after the body switch, angel powers remained in his body and wouldn't go away. Adam describes it as cleaning glitter, you think you get it all but you always find some a few days later. It was a strange analogy that Jack only slightly gets but didn’t want to question.

When they finally got to the tanning salon it took ten minutes of struggle to get it out of the salon and an extra fifthteen just to get it into the truck bed. Micheal swore like a sailor the whole time, Adam almost punched Jack’s boss for not helping, and Jack just thought about asking his uncles to smite their boss.

Once the tanning bed was strapped in they sped off, Jack plugging their ears to stop hearing their uncle Michael swearing, his rage only being calmed by Adam.

“Alright, let's try and do this quickly!” Adam yelled, just wanting to go home.

“Fine, fine!” Micheal rolled his eyes.

Adam, Micheal and Jack got out of the truck. Going to the back of the truck and unstrapping it from the truck bed, Jack quickly opened the door to the bunker and ran back to their uncles, all three of them just stared at it.

“Couldn’t you just…. teleport it into the bunker?” Adam turned to Micheal.

Micheal stared blankly at his husband, looking like they were going to lose it.

“Fine!...Adam goes into the bunker, finds a room where I can put this and text me exactly where” Micheal grumbled. “Sounds good”

Five minutes later the tanning bed was in an empty room, Adam and Micheal were gone, and Jack was sitting in their room with the creature. Talking about Jack’s day and the tanning bed in the bunker.

“Wait, I just got an idea” Jack grabbed their phone, held the creature close and took a selfie with him. “I’m putting this as my phone wallpaper, so people know were fri-”

“JACK!!” Sheila yelled down the hall.

“Damnit” Jack stood up and shoved the creature into their closet.

“Jack…” Sheila walked into Jack's room, her eyes twitching. “Why’d you do it?”

“Do what?” Jack was confused.

“You put a worm in my breakfast, you little…. PSYCHO!” Sheila slapped Jack across the face.

“I didn-” Jack held onto their face.

“I know you did! This is my last straw with this family!!! I’ve gotten over the Dean trans thing, but I won’t get over this!! I’m sending you to a mental hospital”

“NO!!”

“And I will make sure you will never LEAV-”

Sheila fell down, she was hit on the back of the head by a sewing machine that was being held by the creature, Jack would’ve screamed but they were too fascinated by the creature. Sheila was dead and the creature was cutting her ear off, he eventually stood up and hobbled over to Jack and held out the ear.

“Oh… no no, I can’t do that” Jack held onto the creature's shoulder. “Not until we bury the body!”

Twenty minutes later the body was in the creature's grave, cold and dead. The walk there and back was cold and dark, Jack held the flashlight and the ear.

“What's your name?” Jack turned to the creature. “I just realised I never learned it”

The creature leaned down onto the dirt ground and began to write his name in the dirt, Jack shun the light onto the name once the creature stood up.

“Clark…. I like it!” Jack grabbed the creature's hand and continued their walk.

At the bunker Jack sewed the ear back onto the creature. It didn’t work at first but after a quick lie down in the tanning bed and a jolt of electricity, the creature could hear out of both ears. Jack was jumping for joy at this new revelation, they had a way to fix their friend.

“YES!! we should celebrate” Jack dragged the creature away.

They were in Dean and Sheila’s bedroom, rummaging through Sheila’s stuff and taking what they liked. Jack had taken some expensive makeup, shoes and a nice lace shirt so far. Clark sprayed himself with perfume and took some of Sheila’s rings from the bedside table.

“I wonder what's under here?” Jack turned to the bed. They pulled the blanket up and checked underneath it, pulling out a few boxes marked ‘Sheila’. Jack opened one and immediately closed it. “Grosssss”

Clarks head immediately raised, looking curious and concerned.

“It’s just…. sex stuff” Jack gagged and pushed that box back under the bed. They grabbed another box. “I wonder what this one is?”

Jack opened the box to reveal a wedding dress, probably from Sheila’s first, second or third husband. It had a sweetheart neckline, puffy sleeves with a big ball gown skirt that was lined with lace, the skirt had layers upon layers and a veil as long as the dress that had pearls scattered around. Jack stood up and held it to their body, spinning a few times.

“Does it look nice?” They smiled.

Clark nodded but then pointed to Jack’s black outfit, holding onto the skirt of their dress and shaking the fabric.

“Better in black?” Jack raised an eyebrow. Clark nodded. “Well let's make it black… after we clean up”

An hour later everyone was home.
Dean walked into the kitchen looking for a beer and instead found Jack kneeled on the counter top over a big pot with black dye containers everywhere.

“Uhh, what are you doing there Jack?” Dean opened the fridge and got himself a beer.

“I’m dyeing this dress I got online black, It looked so cool but it was only in white” Jack shrugged.

“Is it a wedding dress or something?” Dean laughed, but when he got no response from Jack he began to panic. “Why are you buying wedding dresses Jack?!”

“Wait-” Jack began their explanation.

“Who’s buying wedding dresses?” and like the worst episode of a sitcom, literally everyone else in the bunker walked in, Jack was waiting for the audience to laugh. It was Castiel, Sam, Gabriel, Bobby, Claire and Kaia.

“Jack!” Dean pointed at Jack.

“It’s for a costume party!” Jack tried to defend themselves.

“It's March, no one is having costume parties Jack” Claire rolled her eyes.

“Who ya getting married to?” Gabriel walked over to the pot, reaching his hands Into the boiling water and pulling the top half of the dress out.

“It's none of your business!” Jack slapped Gabriels hands away and turned the pot off, picking it up and leaving.

Their family stood around the kitchen feeling confused. Sam and Bobby began to clean up the mess Jack had made in the kitchen. Black dye stained the floor and stovetop.

“This kid is starting to remind me of Dean when he was a teenager, but less stupid” Bobby was cleaning the stove.

“Hey! I wasn’t that bad!” Dean grumbled, opening another beer.

“You were ya idjit” Bobby sat down the kitchen table

“I’m just worried about Jack…” Sam stopped cleaning. “They are being defensive over a dress, screaming at Claire and their dream has some weird meaning, look at this.”

Sam gathered everyone around the table, slamming a book on dreams down on an open page but Gabriel snuck off, he was going to check on Jack after their storm off from the family.

Gabriel and Jack were close,Gabriel made sure to keep Jack on the right path but also taught them some good mischief, like the time they put glue all over the bunker and took great joy of watching Dean,Cas,Sam and Sheila walking around with various different objects stuck to them, It was even better when Dean stood up and the chair was stuck to his ass.

Jack’s room had music blasting from it, It was brutus by Buttress, and it was loud but Gabriel had good hearing. So he could hear Jack talking to someone in his room, Gabriel couldn’t make heads or tails of who as the other person never talked.

“It isn’t dry but I think it looks lovely. If I ever get married I will definitely wear this.” Gabriel could hear Jack’s slippers tapping on the ground. “What would have you worn if you got married?”

A voice growled back, It sounded like something out of a zombie movie. Gabriel was worried, a random man was in Jack's room and they were talking about marriage. Was Jack going to run off from their family, was they really upset about the two month hunting ban that they wanted to run away with the first random they found. Gabriel’s mind raced as he walked back into the kitchen, opening a Kit Kat and taking a bite right into it, not even breaking because he knew it annoyed everyone.

“Oh god, why do you bite those like that?” Claire made a funny face, Gabriel did that a lot to annoy her.

Gabriel didn't respond, he was too deep in thought to respond. Every bad outcome of what he heard was rushing through his head and he was panicking.

“Gabriel? Honey? Are you okay?” Sam snapped his fingers in front of Gabriel's face.

“I'm worried about Jack… that's all” Gabriel looked down the hallway.

A new song was blasting from Jack's bedroom, Call me by blondie, a change from the last song but still definitely louder than it needed to be.

“This is either teenage angst or a problem” Dean sipped his beer.

“It's definitely something…” Bobby grumbled, opening his second beer.

They may have thought something was wrong but Jack had never felt so happy.

Chapter Text

It's been a week since Sheila died and Jack had solved the missing problem by keeping Sheila’s phone and texting Dean a long breakup text that she had in her notes on her phone but added to the end to just keep her stuff as she didn’t need it. Dean didn’t question it.

Castiel, Gabriel, Dean and Sam were in baby. Bobby, Micheal and Adam not far behind them, they were all going on a hunt and it was a big one.
Large group of vampires terrorising a town in South Dakota, the plan is to kill them all and get Bobby home afterwards.

“Why are Adam and Micheal coming with us?” Dean looked back quickly at sam.

“Family bonding,” Sam joked, Dean didn’t laugh but Gabe and Cas did. “I’m kidding Dean, they’ve started getting into hunting and Adam wanted his first big hunt to be with us. As brothers”

Adam, Sam and Dean finally started to get along. Dean felt the most guilt over the thousand years in hell thing, he apologised every chance he got and Adam forgave him every time as he said his time in hell made him realise that he didn’t have time to hold this grudge and about four hundred years in he stopped caring about revenge but about michael.

Micheal and Adam are the best.

“Suns almost up, Does Jack have a way to school?” Castiel looked at Dean.

“Shit! no, Claire probably already left! Fuck!” Dean hit the dashboard, frustrated.

“Hey dean.” Castiel put his hand on Dean’s shoulder and squeezed. “My car is there, I can shoot them a text and tell them to use my car. They can drive”

Dean smiled at Castiel, the tension in the car was thick and not uncomfortable at all, It felt sweet and Sam and Gabriel knew that love was in the air.

“Good idea Cas” Dean sighed, turning the radio up.

Castiel moved his hand away, he wants to ask Dean out so badly but castiel isn’t good at emotions and he knows he’ll fuck something up while asking Dean out. Castiel pondered while looking out the window, the music adding background noise to his thoughts, he was racking his brain with how to ask Dean out. Castiel would ask Gabriel and Micheal but they’re with the more emotionally mature winchesters and Castiel was in love with Dean… the dumb one. Castiel sighed, looking back over at Dean as the sun finally came up. A new song began to play.

“Oh hell yes! I LOVE THIS SONG!!” Dean punched the air in excitement.

Cherry Pie by Warrant.

A mix of the both things Dean loved, Pie and Rock music. Dean looked so happy when the song came on, it made Castiel feel happy but when he listened to the lyrics he couldn’t help to listen more closely to the lyrics.

“I’m pretty sure this song is about sex Dean” Castiel looked at Dean.

“That just makes it better Cas!” Dean smiled wide, his hands tapping wildly on the steering wheel.

“Sex makes things better?”

“Of course it does Cas”

Sex makes things better. Castiel took a mental note of that, maybe he could use that to make Dean feel better at home, Dean does seem to agree with his statement fully.

The drive took a while but Dean kept everyone hyped up, talking about his plan with the vampire nest and how they’re going to celebrate with bear and cherry pie. Castiel smiled the whole time he talked, he always admired Dean's planning skills.

“We’re here guys!” Dean parked the car up next to Micheal and Adam’s truck.

Everyone got out of the truck, stretching and groaning about having to sit down for a long time with no stops, Bobby was the only one who didn’t complain.

“Can we get coffee? I need coffee” Adam leaned against Micheal who was rubbing Adam's back.

“I’ll get everyone coffee if ya give me the money” Bobby put his hand out.

Everyone dug through their pockets, taking out their wallets and each handing Bobby a ten dollar bill to pay for coffee. Gabriel didn’t hand Bobby any money, too busy thinking to notice everyone was getting coffee, but Sam gave Bobby a twenty for Gabriel’s coffee.

“You okay Gabe?” Sam put an arm around him.

“I’ll tell you after the hunt, I promise”

The hunt was simple with the group they were in, it took about two hours to kill all those vampires but they got it. They ended their day at Bobby’s house, the time was 4pm and they were sat at the table eating sandwiches and drinking soda since Castiel insisted no one get drunk for the drive home, everyone agreed to this because it’s only fair.

Castiel's phone then rang, he checked it and it was Claire. Castiel excused himself and walked into the next room, the kitchen. He stood in there for eight minutes while everyone waited for him, after those minutes passed Castiel walked back into the room.

“What was she wanting?” Micheal was the only one not eating so he was the only one paying attention to the kitchen doors.

“Does Jack have any male friends?” Castiel put his phone in his pocket.

“No, Jack’s only friends are Claire, Kaia and us.” Dean spoke with his mouth full with no shame.

“Then they’re not telling us something because Claire just told me that someone in my car picked up Jack from school” Castiel sat down far too close to Dean.

“Oh dad….” Gabriel looked worried again. “This is what I wanted to talk about, I heard Jack in their room the last week talking to some zombie sounding man”

“And you tell us this now!!!” Adam looked confused and mad.

“Sorry! I’ve just been thinking about it, they were talking about marriage and if the man in the room was ever married. I’ve just been thinking about it… worrying about it.” Gabriel’s demeanour was different.

“Well it’s good you told us, wish it was sooner, but it’s good you did” Dean looked at the floor, then stood up. “Let’s go home”

Everyone filed outside but Castiel and Dean who stayed inside to grab their things and clean up like Bobby told them to. Castiel was putting plates and cups away, while Dean grabbed guns and knives. Castiel was studying Dean’s face, looking at every freckle and every little cut on his face, the things that made Dean who he was, the man who castiel loved with his heart, his soul and with every fibre of his being. Dean’s face looked sad and confused.

“Dean, are you okay?” Castiel walked over to him.

“I’m fine cas, fine” Dean looked at Castiel, looking down at his lips then his eyes.

“You seem sad, would sex make you feel better?”

“Woah! slow down there Cas!” Dean put his hands out, looking shocked instead of sad.

“You said that sex makes everything better”

“Well… I can’t deny that, but why are you offering Cas?” Dean put his hands down.

“Because Jack told me that flirting is a good idea and you talking about sex earlier gave me an idea” Castiel held his hands together.

“Are you flirting with me?”

“Yes Dean, I’m desperately in love with you”

Dean sat down on a chair, processing his feelings. Castiel felt his heart sink until Dean stood up smiling, like he just realised something.

“Oh god Cas, think I finally put the dots of our relationship together” Dean stood up and held Castiel's hand. “So, how about we go to a restaurant and go from there, sounds good?”

“It sounds amazing.” Castiel smiled, gripping Dean’s hand tight.

Dean and Castiel leave the house, still holding hands and smiling at each other. Standing on the stairs of the house was everyone else who made jabs and remarks at the two of them as they left the house, all glad that they finally said something about their feelings for each other. They didn’t have time to discuss what happened as they immediately got home and on the road.

When Dean, Castiel, Sam and Gabriel got back to the bunker at night Jack was sitting at the table in their floral pyjamas and sat on Dean’s laptop watching videos. Dean rushed over and picked up his laptop.

“What are you doing kid?” Dean checked his laptop

“Don’t worry Dean…” Jack stood up. “I cleared away the porn”

Jack walked away while Gabriel laughed at Dean who felt embarrassed.

“What an end to a day…” Dean sighed.

“It’s fine Dean.” Castiel smiled at him.

Dean and Castiel walked into Dean’s room and talked about going on a date.

The bunker was comfortably silent that night, conversation was coming from each bedroom but it was quiet. No yelling and no loud music, just each couple talking and enjoying each other's company. Sam and Gabriel were watching movies and eating candy. Claire and Kaia were fast asleep in each other's arms. But Jack and Clark were discussing Clarks missing hand and how to replace it, Jack was giving a long list of people they hated and Clark was picking who they wanted to kill the most.

Chapter Text

Clark had started to pick out all of Jacks outfits, he had great taste in fashion and would pick out clothes that would make Jack feel pretty.

Today's outfit was plaid red and black flare pants, a black shirt with extra long sleeves and black go go boots they found in a thrift store.

“Do I look good? Or is it too much?” Jack stood in front of their mirror, fixing their hair.

Clark nodded his head and growled back at Jack as a response.

“Thank you Clark, you're too kind to me” Jack smiled at him.

They had gotten close over the past week. Talking about feelings, marriage, candy and family. The creature didn't speak as he didn't have a tongue but Jack could somehow understand his grumbles and grunts as words, and it turns out that Clark was quite the well spoken fellow. His charms had started making Jack fall for him, but didn't make them forget about Blake Harvey who took up most of their conversation topic.

Clark wanted nothing more than to kill Blake, present Jack with his still beating heart and ask for their hand in marriage in a big bloody gesture of love. Just like Jack's dream. Clark wanted Jack to be with him forever.

Jack walked out of their room, joining their family in the main room. They were all getting ready for yet another hunt, Jack felt like their family spent more time away from them than with them and it was slowly hurting their heart.

“Are you guys going out again?” Jack slumped down into a chair.

“Yes, people have been disappearing in a town just two hours away. We’ll only be gone a few days” Sam checked his bag and Gabriels.

“So, am I just going to Survive off of frozen pizza and loneliness for the next few days?” Jack put their feet up onto the table.

“You’ll have your friend, right?” Sam raised his eyebrows.

“What friend?”

“The guy in your bedroom last week.” Gabriel spoke up, leaning against the table.

Jack stared at Gabriel, shocked at how Gabriel knew this. Jack sighed deep and threw their head back, groaning loudly.

“There was no guy” Jack raised their head. “maybe you're hearing things in your old age, aren’t you all older than the universe?”

“Jack! don’t talk to us like that, you’ve gotten very disrespectful lately.” Dean yelled at Jack who just rolled his eyes.

Jack stood up, stomping their feet and huffing.

“shut uppppp…” Jack rolled his eyes. “just shout on me when you leave”

Jack left, they went back to their room. Jack picked up their headphones and rested them around their neck. Clark was sitting on their bed, on the edge of it like in the dreams but real. Jack shuffled over to him, sitting next to him and holding his one remaining hand, and even more like their dream they laid back onto Jack’s bed.

“Today…” Jack turned their head to Clark, their nose touching his. “We’re getting you a hand today”

They both smiled at each other, enjoying the idea of going on a muder escapade. They’ve been planning this for days, planning where to lure Mark and how to lure him there. The idea of this muder made Jack so happy, they’re so ready to kill the man who hurt them. Ready to hurt him even worse than he hurt him.

After 30 minutes Jack got a call from Castiel, saying that they left and he left his car behind for them again. Jack got Clark to drive them to school. They liked being driven around by a strong man, which made them feel special. They felt like they were being driven around by a bodyguard like some celebrity.

“Okay, here’s the plan” Jack turned their head to the creature. “I’m going to give you some money, go get an ice cooler, two bags of ice and a towel. Put the ice in the clooer, We’ll use it store your new hand”

Clark nodded, mentally noting down everything Jack said like he always did.

“Good, then park the car next to the lake near the cemetery. then you know the rest”

Clark parked the car in front of the school, saying goodbye to Jack as pulled away and drove to the store. Jack waved him off, turning towards the school and walking into the building.

The school day went smoothly, Jack couldn’t stop smiling all day. The idea of committing this muder excited them so much, the rush they felt when Clark killed Sheila was like no other.

Jack struted up to their locker, a great sense of pride as they opened up their locker and took out a notebook. They write a short note to mark, fold it and stuff it in his locker before bolting away, trying not to seem suspicious but it just made them look far more suspicious than they already seem. Jack bolted out the school and ran down the street to the lake, pushing people out the way as they did so.

Jack eventually made it to the lake, sitting on a bench to catch their breath. Jack turned their head to the left, seeing Clark walk into the forest towards the graveyard, pulling the wagon to carry the body in his hand and the cooler sat in the wagon. Jack sighed, happy that the creature was doing everything right, it took so much pressure off their back. Jack knew that Clark wasn't stupid, but he was a zombie so he wasn't all there in the head.

The sound of leaves crunching grabbed Jack’s attention, they sat up from the bench, looking to the right to see Mark. Jack made a fake gasp.

“You came” they sounded as sweet as could be, hiding their pure hatred for him.

Holding Mark's hand felt horrible for Jack, it made them want to chop their own hand off but they had a plan and they weren't going to let Clark down. The graveyard came into Jack's line of sight, along with Clark. Even though there was nothing wrong with holding someone's hand, holding someone else's hand in front of Clark, a man's hand, felt so wrong for some reason. It felt like being caught cheating, so Jack let go of Mark's hand.

“Are you not going to hold my hand?” Mark sounded offended.

“Oh I'll hold your hand, in a bit”

They approached the graveyard, Jack was smiling so wide at the thought that Mark was going to be dead soon. Dead and gone.

“Isn't this graveyard haunted?” Mark looked like he was going to piss his pants if he stepped through the gate.

“There's no such thing as ghosts” Jack grabbed Mark, dragging him into the graveyard.

Jack was laughing on the inside at the lie they just told, giggling under their breath. Jack dragged Mark to the front of the creature's grave, facing him away from the open hole with a body in it. Jack put their arm out at either side.

“Okay, now do what you did the other night to me again” Jack felt like they were going to throw up, but they held in their emotions.

As soon as Mark reached his hand out, Clark did the same, grabbing Mark's leg and pulling him down to the ground. Mark screamed like a little girl. He tried to reach up to Jack but they gently grabbed his chin, then held onto the sides of his head and bashed it down onto their knee. Breaking his nose and making him unconscious for a moment.

“Wha-”

As soon as Mark made a noise, Clark raised up his axe and chopped off Mark's hand. A spray of blood covering Jack’s shoes. Jack leaned down and picked up the hand, laughing while Mark screamed.

“I TOLD YOU I'D HOLD YOUR STUPID HAND!” Jack couldn’t stop the laughter, holding the hand to the sky.

Clark gave them a strange look.

“What?...that was cool”

They hadn't noticed Mark had gotten up. He was screaming and yelling for help like a little baby. Clark raised the axe and threw it, it spun through the air and then landed in Mark's head, killing him.

Jack put the hand on ice, Clark put the body in the wagon and they got on with disposing of the body in the lake.

Jack was glad they took sewing lessons because without them they would have had trouble putting this damn hand on Clark. It took a lot of manoeuvring and some bickering but they finally got the hand onto Clark, you could say that Jack finally got the hand of it (bad joke)

After a quick spin in the tanning bed the hand was on, no longer just meat sewn to a body but a full blown hand. Clark also looked much more human, his face less dead looking. Clark looked like Victor from the corpse bride, like something Tim Burton would dream up. Jack couldn’t believe their eyes when they saw Clark, he was so handsome.

“Wow” Jack smiled, gasping at their creations' beauty.

Clark then sat up from the tanning bed, rushing over to Jack and holding their hand with his new one and spinning Jack around. This time when Jack was held by that hand, they didn't see Mark… they saw Clark. Handsome and kind Clark was, he was like a zombie Knight in shining armour.

Jack and Clark celebrated with beer and horror movies on Jack’s laptop. They watched Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream and so many others. Clark showed the same love for horror as Jack did and it made Jack ecstatic, finally someone to share their love with.

“The original Scream is my favourite, it's just such a good classic film”

Clark nodded back at them, agreeing fully with Jack's statement.

After hours and hours of watching films, Sam video called them. Clark hid under the table they were sitting at. Jack answered the video call and waved at Sam.

“Hey Jack, how's being home alone treating you?” Sam smiled.

Dean, Castiel, Gabriel, Michael and Adam are in the background. All eating dinner and going over clues.

“It's fine, just had a horror movie marathon”

“Nice, we’ve got a lot of leads over here but it’s all coming to a dead end”

“Well, I hope you figure it out so- GET YOUR HANDS OFF THERE”

Jack suddenly yelled, pushing their chair back and falling back onto their bed. A head suddenly popped up from under the desk. When Jack looked up they saw that everyone was gathered around the laptop, staring wide eyed at them.

“Jack, what are you doing?” Dean looked pissed off.

“Uhhh, nothing” Jack nervously grinned, Clark was still facing away from the laptop.

“Was he just doing what I think?” Adam looked a little pissed as well.

Jack was thinking of an excuse, he sat on their bed for a full minute until standing up and telling them their fabulous excuse.

“No I wasn’t, I hid him under there because I knew you guys would get mad at me for having a boy in my room” Jack moved Clark into the closet.

“Well, I kinda am but it's good that you weren’t doing something inappropriate while on facetime” Castiel calms everyone down at this point.

“I knew you had a friend! Tell him I said hi!!” Gabriel smiled and waved.

“I will, bye dads”

“Bye!” Sam, Dean and Castiel all said, all with varying tones of happiness.

Jack hung up, grinning at the now black screen. They then turned to Clark, he had gotten changed into an oversized shirt Jack just had laying around. Jack shrugged, thinking that going to bed sounds good right now.

Clark and Jack were now sitting in Jack's bed, drinking milkshakes and staring at the wall while Jack ran their fingers through Clark’s hair. Jack’s laptop was sat in front of them, playing a LaurenZside video, Jack enjoyed her content.

“I have a feeling we’re going to be caught soon…” Jack spoke, blankly staring at the laptop screen.

Clark turned to them, tilting his head at Jack like he was asking them to explain themselves further.

“Before, when we killed Sheila, we could explain her disappearance with a text message.” They sighed, sipping their milkshake. “But now, his parents are going to report him missing… this could lead back to us”

Clark nodded, staring down at his cup. He’s considering his options for him and Jack, like running away and getting married.

“And there’s one thing I want to do before this all blows up in my face…” Jacks looks at Clark. “Lose my virginity”

A twinkle appeared in Clark's eye, like he was hoping Jack would acknowledge him for this opportunity. Jack then faced away, letting out a happy gasp.

“Blake Harvey”

And that ruined Clark’s mood.

“I’m gonna do it, I’m just going to offer myself to him and hope for the best” Jack grinned so wide it looked like it hurt.

Jack put Clark and their empty cups on their bedside table, still talking about their now set in stone idea to lose their virginity. Clark just settled himself into bed, pulling Jack down with him, spooning Jack while thinking about his new plan.

Clark must kill Blake Harvey.

Chapter Text

Clark had definitely picked out the best outfit by far. A black frilly button, ripped black jeans, their blood stained GoGo boots and a black trench coat. To finish off the outfit they had Clark curl their hair and they put on a pair of sunglasses.

“If this will be my last day alive, might as well die looking good”

Jack gave Clark a quick cheek kiss before leaving their bedroom. They put their hands on their hips, walking through the halls of the bunker and taking in every little detail of halls. It all seemed so much different now that they thought that today was their last day alive, every picture looked so much more sweet. pictures of the whole family fishing, at a theme park and at Jack's 16th birthday, who knew that a year later they would end up like this. They continued to the kitchen, looking into it to see Claire and Kaia, their only friends.

“Morning Jack” Kaia waved to them. “What’s with the outfit? Are you going to a funeral?”

“Yes… My own” They grab a granola bar, spinning around and leaving the kitchen.

“Wait.. What the fuck!” Claire turns Kaia.

“Are they gonna….” Kaia made a rope hanging gesture.

“I hope not… I better call dad” Claire rushed her phone out of her pocket.

They both missed Clark walking by the kitchen, car keys in hand. Two minutes later Jack and Clark were on the road while Claire and Kaia were on a call with Cas, telling him about Jack saying they’re going to their own funeral.

Meanwhile, Jack was painting their nails with white-out and Clark was flicking through stations with his brand new hand.

“Now, you can drive around the town as much as you want while I’m in school.” Jack smiled at Clark.

Clark nodded, keeping his eyes on the road but turned every so often to look at Jack. Clark was so in love with Jack, Jack was starting to feel the same towards Clark. Jack felt strange for falling for a zombie but at the same time they no longer saw Clark as a Zombie, they saw him as the quiet and strange Clark. Jack just put some gum in their mouth to distract themselves from their feelings.

School was no longer interesting since it was Jack’s last day going there, It all felt pointless now. Everyone in the school was crying crocodile tears at the fact Mark was missing, It made Jack laugh. They all acted like he knew him but they didn’t and it was hilarious to see how they pretend to care. Jack walked around the school smiling, today was a good day for him.

Jack didn’t even make it through the first class before the horrible voice of the principal came over the intercom, grabbing everyone's attention.

“Jack Kline, come to the principal's office!!”

That ruined Jack’s mood, they knew it was something to do with Mark, Jack felt it in their soul and was prepared to put on the crocodile tears like everyone else in this school. Jack stood up from their seat, looking over at Blake’s empty seat before picking up their bag.

“Slut penalty”

A random boy spoke up, a guy who looked like the boy you imagined when you heard the word Asshole, even had the voice to go with your imagination. He was punchable. Jack stopped in their tracks, took out their gum and shoved it in his ear.

“Boop” Jack booped his nose and gave him a grin before skipping out of the class while humming a tune.

The reason Jack got called to the principal office is because Susie, the goth bully bitch, caught them putting the note in Mark’s locker. Two police officers were in the room and so was the guidance counsellor.

“Can you just please tell us what happened?” The principal said, a nice enough lady but her voice was like listening to nails on a chalkboard.

“I did meet up with him, we hooked up and then I walked away, I don’t know what happened to him afterwards.” Jack was so disinterested.

“And you didn’t hook up at home because?” The officer with the cool moustache leaned towards Jack.

“My family doesn’t like me bringing people home, they’re those end of the world preparer kind of people” Jack always used that excuse with their family. “Can I leave?”

“No you can't!!” Susie shouted. “They’re crazy! Why is everyone making small talk?”

“Stay quiet Miss evans” The guidance counsellor butted in, he rarely ever helped.

“No!! Jack is insane, they should be locked up!!”

She wasn’t bothering Jack, they blocked out her voice so it looked like she was just silently screaming in Jack’s ear so she looked very funny. Jack wanted to leave the office but they decided to grit their teeth and wait it out.

“You know there’s a rumour they killed their mom”

That got Jack's attention.

“WHAT!!”

Jack shot up from their chair, screaming into Susie's face before running out of the office, stomping their feet and ignoring any attempts to get them back into the office. Susie ran past them, crying on the phone to someone and her face all red and ugly. Jack stormed out of a side door of the school, standing outside and flailing their arms around in anger.

“That good for nothing…. FILTHY BITCH!!”

Jack stormed away from the school, screaming and stomping their feet. Jack made their way into the town, trying to find Clark and or Blake and get Blake’s home so they could live out their last day of life the way they wanted.

Meanwhile with Clark

Clark enjoyed driving, it was a calming experience. He listened to classical music and enjoyed the wonderful piano. When he was alive he was an amazing pianist. Clark also enjoyed driving for Jack, they were so kind to him even though he was a zombie with a missing hand and an ear (and one that Clark hadn’t mentioned yet). Jack had seemed to take a dark turn after the murders they both committed together but Clark wasn’t scared by that, it just made him even more in love with Jack.

Clark started to drive around the suburbs, looking into houses and judging people. It was very fun to see some couples fighting through the windows or on the sidewalk. Clark just started to do slow circles around a block, scaring multiple families but he didn’t mean any harm to any of them, he was just killing time while waiting for school to be over. Then he saw Jack storming down the street with a look of motivation on their face, Clark stopped the car right next to them and rolled the window down.

“Take me to Blake’s” Jack got into the passenger seat.

Clark stared down at the car floor before starting the car and driving towards Blake’s house, getting directions from Jack on which turns to take and how long the drive should take. Clark spent the whole drive gripping the steering wheel with anger.

As soon as they pulled up to the house Jack turned to Clark.

“Don’t get jealous, I’ll be spending a lot more time with you once I'm a zombie” Jack rolled their eyes. “and don’t worry about the sex, I brought protection”

Jack then pulled out a box of condoms and hunting knife out of their bag, both given to them by Dean when they turned sixteen. The condoms were given to them after a sex talk and the knife was also after a sex talk. Dean told Jack that if anyone tried anything bad or was a monster to stab them with the knife and run away. Jack put the condoms and knife away, rolling their eyes once again at Clark before getting out of the car without any further discussion, which would’ve been good since Clark didn’t get the chance to tell them about the other car parked in the driveway that didn’t belong to anyone in the Harvey family.

Jack opened the unlocked door to the house and made their way in, they quietly marvelled at the home. Jack was so used to motels and the bunker that they barely saw normal family homes, even though the bunker felt like one it never looked like one. Jack made their way up the staircase, their head up in the clouds and a smile on their face. As Jack got to the door they stopped dead in their tracks, the door cracked open and there were two people in the room.

“I’m so sorry that happened to you, it must've been stressful…”

“It was, that little freak is insane…”

Blake was in bed with Susie, the person who HE saw drug and bully Jack was in bed with him in her underwear. Jack immediately kicked the door open, screaming at them so loud that the light bulbs in the bedroom exploded. Jack stromed, looking like they were about to jump at them and claw their eyes out of their skulls. They both looked at Jack like deers in headlights.

“WHY!!! WHY ARE YOU WITH HER!” Jack said calmly. “You saw her DRUG ME and you decided that she was a person you would like to kiss!”

“Jack, I know you like me but…” Blake began to make excuses but Jack cut him off.

“No no no no, I don’t like you anymore. That instantly stopped once I saw you two together!”

Jack kicked a desk chair over and then smashed it with their boot.

“Oh god, can I just go home? my friend is here to pick me up” Susie held up her phone, showing a text conversation on the screen.

Jack huffed and stopped their feet, getting mad at the fact Susie was being so chill about this situation. Then the sound of someone walking up the stairs distracted Jack, they thought it was Clark with the axe so they grinned. Turns out they were so very wrong as their grin faded as Claire walked into the bedroom.

“I got your text-” Claire froze once she saw the furious Jack standing in the bedroom.

“You knew…”

“Jack-”

“YOU KNEW AND YOU NEVER TOLD ME! YOU LET ME FALL FOR THIS PRETENTIOUS DICKWAD!!”

“Well, I never thought you would actually do anything about your crush” Claire looked so guilty but tried to defend herself.

Jack screamed again, grabbing their hair and pulling on it. A moment later Clark stormed up the stairs and into the bedroom, standing in the doorway holding the axe covered in Mark’s blood.

“What the fuck!” Claire backed up against a wall, too shocked to react properly.

“Clark!” Jack grinned at him, pointing over to Blake and Susie.

Clark understood what they meant immediately, running over to bed and pulling back the duvet. He then raised the axe and brought it down onto Blake’s crotch, chopping his dick off. He then raised it again towards Susie and chopped her head off with two chops, He then raised it to Blake and chopped his head off as well. Blood sprayed everywhere, on the walls, on the furniture and on everyone in the bedroom. Jack smiled so wide when the blood covered him.

“YOU ARE FUCKING INSANE!” Claire pointed to Jack. “You’re acting like-”

“Like what Claire, like what?” Jack approached Claire. “Like my actual dad? just say it, I know you’re going to say it because anytime I get a little bit bad all of a sudden I’m ‘acting like lucifer’. Do you know how ANNOYING that is? I can get mad or else I’ll be thrown out of the bunker with everyone looking at me like I grew horns and goat legs!”

Claire looked as white as a sheet and was terrified, backed against a wall and shaking. Clark then stood beside Jack, holding the axe up like he was suggesting to use it on Claire but Jack shook their head.

“No Clark, no murder. I’ll take care of her”

Jack then grabbed Claire’s forehead and smashed it through the weak wall, her head went through easily and she fell to the floor after Jack let go of her. Jack then turned to Clark who pocketed Blake’s dick, covering it with a handkerchief, before leaving the bedroom. Jack followed him out as Kaia walked into the bedroom, she must’ve been with Claire and when she walked into the bedroom she screamed.

“Clark, why did you pick up Blake’s dick?” Jack looked very confused, blood dripping off the tip of their nose.

Clark grabbed Jack’s hand, looking into their eyes as Jack nodded, he then put their hand on his crotch and looked away from Jack. Clark’s dick, much like his hand and ear had fallen off, there is no way of sugarcoating this and I’m not going to because there is no better way of putting it, Clark took his dick. Clark then handed Jack the dick wrapped in the handkerchief, staring them in the eyes and in that moment they both had mutual understanding on what they both wanted. As they walked away they both could hear Kaia call Dean and Castiel to tell them about Jack and their zombie boyfriend.

When Jack and Clark returned home it was like a romance movie but with sewing kits and electricity as Jack sewed the dick stolen from Blake onto Clark’s body, they kneeled in front of him and made fast but precise work of sewing it on. After a quick ride in the tanning bed Clark now had a dick and Jack was now fully in love with Clark. They walked into Jack’s bedroom, still covered in blood, they got into bed and flew to the moon. Covering the bed in Blake and Susie's blood.

An hour after they make love, Jack is sitting at the edge of their bed in the wedding dress they dyed black, Clark is kneeled on the ground and is putting a ring on Jack’s finger. This is their way of having a ‘Wedding’, they’re promising each other that in life and death they would be together forever. Clark then picked up Jack and walked them both to Jack’s final moment, the tanning bed.

Clark laid them into the tanning bed, holding their hand tight like he never wanted to let go but he knew he had to. Jack handed Clark two notes, one for him and one for their family, they then kissed Clark one more time before laying back and having the tanning bed closed on them. Clark then turned the tanning bed to the max and then sat down.

Dean, Sam, Castiel, Gabriel, Adam, Micheal, Claire and Kaia were all crammed into Baby and rushing their way back to the bunker. Claire is sat in the footwell of the passenger seat being healed by Castiel, retelling the last two hours or so to the family.

“-And then a zombie, Jack called him Clark, runned over to the bed and just decapitated them both and cut off Blake's dick!” All the men in the car cringed at the imagination. “Jack then went on a rant about how they can never be mad because everyone instantly thinks they’re like Lucifer, then my head got smashed through a wall.”

As Baby sped down the road, no one in that car knew that Jack was currently being put into a death box after marrying a zombie covered in blood. Dean parked the impala next to Castiel’s discarded car that had a bloody axe sitting on the passenger seat, everyone fumbled their way out of the impala and rushed their way into the bunker where the fire alarms were going off. Everyone first ran to the kitchen but found it empty, they all then ran to Jack’s bedroom to find the bloody mess left behind.

“Oh no…” Sam covered his mouth in shock.

“What happened here!” Dean scanned the bedroom before seeing the box of open condoms on the floor. “Nevermind, let's not find out!”

Everyone then ran into the last possible place where a fire could be, where the tanning bed resided. When they all ran into the bedroom they were faced with blazing inferno that the tanning bed had turned into and the zombie teenager that sat on the floor, reading a letter over and over with tears in his eyes. Dean and Sam instinctively grabbed fire extinguishers and began to put out the fire that the tanning bed caused, and as soon as the fire was out Sam and Dean opened the tanning bed to see the surprisingly slightly burned dead body of Jack in a wedding dress.

“Jack…” Castiel approached the tanning bed, holding Jack’s hand as tears welled in his eyes.

“What did you do!” Gabriel rushed over to Clark, Micheal followed him and pinned him to the wall.

Clark continued to cry, opening his mouth to show he had no tongue. Micheal let him go, knowing they weren’t going to get any answers out of him. Clark then handed Gabriel Jack’s letter to the family before pushing past everyone, picking up Jack’s dead body and walking towards the door, he gave them all a look that said ‘follow me and you die’ before walking out of the room and out of the bunker.

“What did he give you?” Adam looked at the folded piece of paper in Gabriel’s hand.

“I’m not sure but…” Gabriel held the letter out to Castiel. “You should read this.”

Castiel grabbed the letter, holding it to his heart before opening it up.

“Dear Family…”

When you read this I will be dead, but don’t be sad please. Clark has a plan to bring me back so just listen to him, he’s a professional at this.

Please don’t be mad at me, I just needed to do this to feel like myself again since I lost most of my power.

I never meant to hurt you Sam, I’ve told you all this so much but I wish I never went on that hunting trip. I wish I never tried to attack that monster and I wish I knew that Sam was in the attack radius.

I love you all so much, I hope you can all trust and learn to love Clark as well.

From Jack (The betrothed of The Creature)

As Castiel stopped reading, he hadn’t ever realised he was crying, he looked up at the rest of the people in the room. Most of them looked sad but Dean and Claire looked the most devastated, Jack ‘died’ before they got to say sorry for what they did to Jack.

“So we just have to trust this Clark guy?” Gabriel wiped his eyes.

“If he can bring Jack back to life, then we should trust him” Sam took the letter out of Castiel’s hands.

Chapter Text

Jack died three days ago.

Everyone was still reeling from finding them in a burning tanning bed but no one was hurting more than Castiel who felt like if he wasn’t so oblivious he would’ve been able to help Jack and get their powers back.

The whole family was sitting in the Dean Cave with TV on, a storm is expected tonight. Clark is sitting on an armchair, back straight and eyes towards the TV and is listening to the weather report intently. Clark has a tongue now, It was stapled onto on his remaining bits of tongue and then using an altered taser to shock the tongue into his head so he can now talk.

“We shall get Jack tomorrow, the lightning will get him” Clark glanced around the room.

“Are you sure about this?” Micheal glared at him,Adam behind him doing the same.

No one really trusts Clark but Castiel who has put all his faith into his plan.

“The lightning will definitely get him.” Clark turned up the TV to hear the news about the oncoming storm, and to ignore them all.

Dean clenched his fists, fighting the urge to punch Clark in the face and drag him to the graveyard to get Jack right now. Dean didn’t want to wait until tomorrow; he wanted Jack back into the bunker now to make Castiel happy and to get answers out of them for why he didn’t just kill Clark once he walked in the door. Dean grabbed Castiel’s hand, walking out of the Dean cave to their bedroom, Dean was so done with this waiting game they were all playing.

Gabriel watched them both leave, knowing that Dean was the most pissed right. Gabriel looked over to Clark and wondered what was going on in his head, do zombies have a brain? Does he have a brain? Gabriel has so many questions but knows Clark won’t answer them because he’s been avoiding his questioning ever since the fire. Sam and Gabriel had been in charge of keeping Clark in place, cleaning Jack’s room and the bunker because Jack left blood everywhere from their last night alive.

Micheal and Adam have been staying in the bunker for the last few days, keeping everyone company and the place clean. Adam spent a lot more time with his half-brothers which was nice for all of them in this hard time, Adam also supported Claire but was brutally honest with her about how her not telling Jack about their crush already dating someone was a terrible thing to do. Micheal also did those things but with less compassion since he isn’t the emotion type, he just patted people on the back and told them “It’ll be fine”.

On a dark stormy night a loud crash rumbled throughout the bunker, waking everyone up with a jolt. Everyone grabbed a weapon and jumped out of their beds, running to the front room to see the disturbance. It was Jack. Jack stood at the bottom of the stairs, most of the dress had been ripped off and there were only bits and pieces left on their body. Jack looked fine tho, no missing parts or bits needing replaced, Jack was just much paler than before.

Dean walked over to Jack, dropping the gun and looking them in the eye. Dean and Jack shared a look that made Dean’s worries melt away, it was a look that told Dean that Jack wasn’t mad and was happy to see them. Dean helped Jack walk over to Clark, putting arm around their shoulder to steady them in their walking. As soon as they stood in front of Clark, Dean reluctantly let them go.

“Hello Clark”

“Hello Jack”

The sweet moment was interrupted by everyone hugging Jack, even Micheal stood on the edge of the hug pile and put his arms around them all. People laughed and cried, Jack felt like they were suffocating but was so happy they didn’t care.

Months later it was like nothing happened, Jack and Clark stayed in the bunker while Claire moved to her own place. Jack and Claire made up, Claire was not forgiven but she was given a second chance and she took it right away. Dean and Castiel have gotten used to having Clark around but it was scary for them both when he would appear in doorways like he just materialised from thin air. Sam and Gabriel clung to Jack for their first two weeks back, making sure they were comfortable and that they weren’t rotting, Jack did do a little rotting but after a big electrical shock that was permanently fixed.

Micheal and Adam took the burnt tanning bed away, cutting off a piece of it and giving it to Jack as a little joke. Jack found it funny, they put it on their dresser along with the cut up wedding dress that was beyond. No amount of thread could put that together again and Jack knows because they tried. Clark promised to get them something better but Jack said no, it didn’t matter to them because Clark mattered to them so much more.

The End

Notes:

The next story is an idea Jake Able talks about all the time, sitcom situation with Micheal and Adam. I kinda want to do a similar story to wandavision but not exactly, Like trapped in a sitcom but neither of them are aware of it. I like doing these inspired stories because it puts these characters that have already been in weird situations in even weirder situations and its kinda like changing channels but more sitcom fun family vibes. Like a mix of friends, modern family and [Insert third example].
