Chapter Text

Today we combined, that was a relief, no matter of ours could help that loathing grief.. I had that power, he didn't know, I showed him weakness, he didn't show. As the spirits I saw were gone in a wisp, our new form was made. It's name was Eclipse..

I reviewed our- or, my new body. Oh how exciting this was! I hadn't had such an experience in- ever! Really. Who else could say that two in one body smashed minds together to create one entity??! I mean.. there's probably someone who could, but I doubt that there's a lot of people who can. My body was similar to both Sun and Moons. I had a mix of their pants, their bells on each wrist, Sun's rays, Moon's hat. I looked much dirtier than I'd prefer, but that could be managed. For now, I just needed processing time.

“This is-” I stopped, my accent was one from the UK, yet I had no known origins from there. How curious. I wonder where that would've originated from. “T-That's a- unique feature.” I told myself gratefully, still feeling a need to explain everything despite no one being there except me. 

My train of thought was suddenly interrupted by the sound of footsteps, familiar ones. “Montgomer- Monty?”  I corrected myself, remembering that the Gator had found the nickname to be preferred. 

“Yo- what happened to you two?” Monty asked, confused but with the slightest hint of concern

“Oh! Uh, right. So, since our arguing began to hit- some unreasonable standards, we decided to-” I didn't know the word for a moment, so I used my hands to display my body. “Combine!” I eventually added

“Combine?” Monty seemed slightly confused. 

“Uh- yes, we combined our minds, our data, and now we, are- me!” That word felt weird to say.

Me, it had always been we, or us, or our. Now it was just- me, I, my. How strange.. It would definitely be an adjustment. I suddenly snapped my head back to the gator, who was now giving me an impatient look.

“Oh- uh yes, sorry to interrupt you Montgo- Monty.” I corrected myself again. 

“Right. So you have a virus.” Monty said casually.

I wasn't sure if I had actually heard him correctly, I stared at him, confused. “What-?”

“We all do- what am I supposed to call you???” Monty then asked

I hadn't thought of it much, I thought for a moment.

“Cuz you ain't Sun or Moon.” He added after a moment of silence.

“I'll- get back to you on that one.” I sighed. 

“Alright. So yeah we all have a virus, don't know where it came from, it's just there now.” Monty explained.

“..Oh.” 

“Yeah, it ain't great. I guess we’ll figure somethin’ out? I'll try and keep you updated I guess. I ought to head out now, see you ‘round-?” Monty asked before completely stepping out of the daycares premises 

“Yeah, see ya later alligator.” I let out a light chuckle.

“If you say that to me again I will not hesitate to punch you.” The Gators brows furrowed.

“Heh- right. Anyways, goodbye Monty!”

“Bye.” He then began walking again.

“By the way..” I started speaking again.

“Yep-?” Monty stopped.

“I'd like to go by- Eclipse.. for now.” I told him.

Monty nodded with a thumbs up. “Alright, see you later, Eclipse.” He then walked out of the daycare.

I turned around to turn off the mirror that Moon had initially made, fiddling with some of the buttons until the large reflective screen disappeared in the blink of an eye.

“What's with the British accent?” I suddenly heard a familiar voice say. 

I tensed up, had I been hearing things..? Was this a part of the curse of combining? The newly found virus maybe?

“Moon- don't be rude.” A voice that opposed the first one replied. 

I felt my entire body tense, my rays retracting in, the hat that had initially been Moons slumped down, the bell on the end making a short lived jingle.

“Can he- hear us..?” The voice of the cheery part of myself asked, sounding oddly scared.

“No, he just reacts to our voices from something completely unrelated. Dumbass.” Moon sarcastically told his counterpart.

“Sorry..”  Sun sounded genuinely upset.

“I was kidding.” Moon sounded as if trying to persuade Sun on the topic.

I wondered if I should turn around, figure if I was just hearing things or if I could put a face- or faces, to the names.

“You gonna move or-?” Moon's voice seemed directed at me.

I froze, not doing anything.

“Eclipse- or whatever you wanted to be called?” Moon directly asked, now I knew he was talking to me.

“Oh- sorry.. right.” I then stood, slightly on edge if I was just hearing things, were these new Sun and Moon models? Had Fazbear found out and wanted me replaced..?

I hesitantly turned around, keeping my eyes shut tight.

There was a pause. Pure silence.

Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was cold, almost as if there was nothing there at all.

I opened my eyes and saw-

Sun.. a bluish translucent version of what is apart of me. Moon stood close behind, his arms crossed. He seemed less- aggressive, than what I remember.

But what I remember isn't clear, it's all fuzzy. I wasn't either of them, why would I have their exact memories?

I had key memories from them both. Their time with the Glamrocks, I noticed a pattern with those. Sun usually spent quite some time with Glamrock Chica, Moon with Monty.

How to make the Celestial candys and the Planet Pizza that Fazbear never actually advertised, it was quite odd.

The two brothers stared at me with curiosity, they seemed curious by my presence, curious by my attire, curious about the similarities between themselves and the others, all curious about things that I was curious about myself.

The silence was awkward. I wasn't sure if their stares were in a polite curiosity or a judgmental type curiosity. I decided to break the silence.

“Could you two possibly show me around some? I don't know much besides bits and pieces- heheh..” I wasn't sure if they'd respond.

The two looked at each other, then shrugged and nodded in unison.

“Sure,” 

“Why not?” The two immediately piggybacked off of each other's sentences, to a certain extent, it was a bit unsettling.

“Cmon, we can show you our roommmm, the theater, the atrium-” Sun was then cutoff by his brother

“Sun don't get ahead of ourselves.” Moon interrupted, slightly annoyed by the Suns quick speaking.

“Oh- uh, right. Sorry.” Sun apologized, his tone anxious

“It's quite alright, I don't mind.” I reassured him.

He nodded quickly.

“Anyways follow us! We’ll start off by showing you the theater!” Sun exclaimed.

“He’ll show you the theater. I am going to stay behind and convince myself the light isn't that bad.” Moon shrugged.

“It's not that bad. It's the dark that scary.” Sun argued.

“Hm, debatable.” Moon responded.

“It's not debatable it's fa-”

“Hey, hey. Wasn't the whole reason I'm here to fix the consistent arguing? How about we just go to the theater.” I interrupted, their arguing gave me a headache.

“Oh- uh, right. Let's go!” Sun then began happily skipping out of the daycare.

“I'm staying here.” Moon said again.

“WE KNOW-” Sun then stopped himself.

“Good, now, what's the theater for exactly..?"

“Sun! I beg of you, please slow down!” I yelled, Sun has just discovered that he had the ability to fly without the cable and was now using it to his advantage. Man, if I had lungs or needed to breathe, I would be so winded right now. Thankfully Sun stopped once we reached an entrance to the Superstar Theater.

“Whoops, sorry, I never realized how fast I was going,” Sun apologized as we walked into the theater.

“Hey, you, who are you? Are you a new animatronic?” I heard a voice asked. I turned my head to see Glamrock Chica eating out the trash can, my word, learn some manners.

“I am Eclipse, the combined form of Sun and Moon,” I introduced myself with a bow.

“Oh ho ho, fancy, I’m sure Roxanne would like a guy like you,” Glamrock Chica said. Oh right, the whole crush thing that Sun had. I personally have no clue if I still well embody that crush. I guess I have to see how I react when I see her. “So, what are you doing here?” She asked.

“Oh! I was just showing Eclipse around to get him familiar with the place!” Sun explained. I looked at him.

“Eclipse? You okay? You are staring at air,” Glamrock Chica said. So she couldn’t see or hear Sun, strange.

“Sorry, I was in the midst of just daydreaming,” I lied. I didn’t want her to give her the wrong impression of me.

“Ohhh okay, well, I better get going, I think I hear some pizza calling my name.” Glamrock Chica said before leaving.

“Here we have the Superstar Theater! It has all kinds of things, like chips, fazsoda and popcorn!” Sun started to ramble about the different foods at this point. “What’s your favorite food, Clipsey?”

“I uh, I can’t eat,” I admitted. Sun gave a loud gasp. I couldn’t tell if it was from shock or surprise, maybe both?

“Come on, I’ll show you the main movie theater area,” Sun said, taking my hand and whisking me away to the main theater area, where kids could come watch movies. There was also a stage in front of the screen. “Now, let me show you the kitchen,” he said before booping the long nose on my face and we ended up teleporting to the kitchen, which was right behind the counter in the theater when you first walk in. I took a quick glance around, nothing of note to be honest, it was a standard kitchen. I actually had a piece of Sun’s memory where he tried to bake some cookies, it didn’t go very well and a couple kids got sick. A for effort, Sunrise. Eventually, we decided to head back to the daycare, just to check in on Moon.

I was busy working on the go karts, minding my own business.

“How long has he been working on this?” Sun asked Moon.

“Couple hours and it’s getting boring with each hour,” Moon said. I decided to remark with a quip of my own.

“You two could help me you know?” I sarcastically replied.

“Can’t. Our hands go right through the tools,” Moon said. I sighed, I knew that wasn’t true, I saw him and Sun sharing an orange the other day but I decided not to press further.

“Eclipse!” I heard Monty’s voice yell out. I was so startled that I dropped the wrench I was holding on my foot.

“Nice going genius,” Moon replied, sarcastically.

“Moon, don’t be mean,” Sun told him. “Eclipse, are you okay?” I didn’t answer him because Monty was coming down the stairs to me, I didn’t want to seem like a crazy person.

“So uh hey, me and the others were wondering if you wanted to play hide and seek with us,” Monty said.

“S-sure!” I said, I was excited, this was going to be my first ever time playing with the others as myself.

“Let’s go!” I cheered. Me and Monty went to meet with the others.

“Hey guys, glad you could make it,” Glamrock Chica said.

“Okay, before we begin the game, we need to establish some rules because this place is massive and it could take HOURS to find each other,” Glamrock Freddy said. That was fair, from what I’ve seen, this place is big.

“Rule 1. No going outside,” Glamrock Freddy said.

“Can’t do that,” Moon said. Apparently he and Sun have followed me here.

“Rule 2. The third floor is off limits,” Glamrock Freddy said. “And Rule 3. No hiding in any closets,”

“Who is going to be seeker first?” Roxanne asked. Everyone looked over at Freddy.

“Fine, I’ll be seeker first,” Freddy said before turning around and began counting down.

“Come on Eclipse, we know a spot,” Sun said. I followed him and Moon to the elevator and they helped me get on top of it, I was surprised by how I managed to fit.

“Flexibility, baby,” Moon said. I’ll be honest, I’m still surprised by my capabilities. Eventually, I heard my friends calling out to me, I stayed quiet and hidden.

“Where could he have gone?” Monty asked.

“I don’t know, do you think he’s outside?” Glamrock Chica asked.

“Eclipse’s Sun part would not allow him to do that, Sun wasn't the type to break the rules,” Roxanne said.

“She’s got that right,” Sun said, crossing his arms.

“Have you guys given up yet?” I called out, trying not to let my voice echo or anything.

“No! I refuse to!” Roxanne growled.

“Roxy, I think we have to, Eclipse could be anywhere,” Freddy said.

“But I-“ Roxy sighed in defeat. “Fine!”

“Okay, Eclipse, we have given up, you can come out now,” I now got out of the elevator, and walked towards them.

“Where the [BLEEP] were you?!” Monty asked.

“I was on top of the elevator,” I explained.

“That’s pretty good! How did you manage to find that spot?” Glamrock Chica asked. I froze, I couldn’t tell them about Sun or Moon’s ghosts still lingering around.

“I remember when Sun used it as a hiding spot a while ago,” I lied. The others seemed to buy it.

“Makes sense, we couldn’t find Sun for hours, he must have used that spot as a little getaway,” Chica giggled.

“Hey guys, what time is it?” Roxy asked. Freddy glanced over at a clock and gasped.

“It’s almost time for us to get ready,” Freddy said. That was odd, the Pizza Plex doesn’t open for another hour or so. So I doubt that they could be talking about performing.

“Ready for what?” I asked them curiously. Nobody wanted to answer.

“Uh pre show things,” Chica said.

“Alright then,” I said before the others left.

“Did you guys catch that?” Moon asked.

“Catch what?” Sun asked.

“I think they were lying,” I replied.

“But what about?” Sun asked.

“Let’s go see if we can find them.” Moon said before he and Sun floated away, they came back a couple minutes later.

“You might wanna see this for yourself, come on,” Sun told me before he and Moon led me to a room that wasn’t being used. I opened the door and looked inside. There stood my friends hovering over two gravestones or at least they gathered up things inside the Pizza Plex to act as gravestones.

“Who-?” I whispered to Sun and Moon as I quickly and quietly left the room.

“Mine and Sun’s,” Moon revealed. I was surprised. I didn’t know what to say, I didn’t want my friends to find out that I had spied on them, so I just went back to the daycare and cleaned up. Wondering what will happen tomorrow.
