Chapter Text

Did it start when he was found out he was an Alpha? No. Did it start when his brother left? No. Did it start when his brother threatened the life of his best friend and called him weak? Possibly.

Either way, he couldn't stay here any more, doing pointless missions day after day. He needed to train, to get stronger, to get the revenge he craved. To get away from those damned omegas that fawned over him.

He ran up to the gate, then heard a familiar voice, "Sasuke!"

Naruto, great. Sasuke turns around to face him, in the dead of night. His Sharingon active as he looks at Naruto, but the other wasn't afraid.

"You can't just leave."

Sasuke scoffs, "You can't stop me."

Naruto takes a step forward, determination written all over his face, "Sasuke, I know you want to go after him, but you can't do this by yourself! Just stay in Konoha, you can get stronger here to. I- don't want to lose you."

The dark haired preteen stands his ground, his eyes seem to glow in the dark, "Why do you want to stay? I've seen how they look at you."

"What's that supposed to-"

"Come with me, Naruto. You don't want me to do this alone? Then come with me. We can get stronger together. We'll show them all that they were wrong, about both of us."

Naruto hesitates, he'd made a few friends here, even despite how he had grown up.They were good to him, he didn't want to leave, but... Being called a loudmouth, an idiot, a drag, annoying, a bother, a nuisance, a monster, all the time even by his friends. Maybe... Maybe he should leave.

The wind blows his spiky yellow hair around, then he takes a few steps forward, "Let's go."

Naruto takes off running, and Sasuke runs just ahead of him. Leaving the village. Naruto taking one last glance back, at the place he used to call home. The place where he felt lonely even when around his friends, where the older people saw him as a monster despite his smile. Then he looked away.

The first place they camped for the night was a cave with a leaf covered ground, Naruto took first watch, Sasuke trusting him enough to get some sleep.

The wind ruffled his jacket and his hair, watching the moon. No one would know they were gone till the morning came, he wasn't sure where Sasuke was going exactly, or where that weird marking on his neck had come from. But everything was gonna be okay. Right?

When the moon set and the sun rose, Naruto gently shook Sasuke awake, and they kept going.

"So, where are we going anyway?"

"We're going to train under Orochimaru."

Naruto follows Sasuke into what looks like a giant cave, it was cold, but that was fine, he could deal with cold.

He looks at his friend, who was being even quieter than normal, "Sasuke?"

He stops, and they hear footsteps, a tall pale man walks up to them, and hisses, "So, you came to me after all. And you brought a jinchuriki, how nice."

Sasuke holds his head up,"You said you could make me stronger, I'm going to take you up on that promise."

Orochimaru smiles, it looked unnatural on him, "Of course. Let's get started, shall we?" He hisses, tongue flicking like a snake.

Tsunade slams her fist on the table, "They can't have gone far! Keep searching!"

The other Ninja nod, and leave the room quickly, the older woman sighs, and sits back in her chair.

Sakura fidgets a little, "I don't understand, why would they leave?"

Tsunade frowns, "We can't be sure, I know Sasuke has his intentions, but Naruto didn't have a reason to leave with him."

Jiraiya sighs, "Those kids, they're gonna get in big trouble out there. Especially with the Akatsuki still stalking around."

Kakashi crosses his arms, looking at the ground, they were his students, and he failed to keep them in arms reach. If he has know what they were planning ahead of time he could have stopped them. But he didn't, and now they were gone, "Getting them back will be difficult. They won't go easy."

Tsunade nods, "It's Naruto I'm more worried about, he doesn't have the fox under control, and if something happens to him out there, none of us will be able to stop it."

Sakura shakes a little as she looks at the ground, those idiots, making everyone worry, making her worry. She'd have to drag them back herself. No matter what it takes. She just needed to be stronger, and she could do that while learning under Tsunade.

The searches continued all day, to no avail, not a single trace of the two Genin.

Kakashi leans against a wall, looking at the sky, and Might Guy spots him, "Hey, Kakashi! How's it going?"

The silver haired man doesn't even turn his head.

Guy blinks, "Hello? Kakashi?"

Kakashi sighs, "I am their teacher, I was supposed to protect them. Now all my students are either gone or don't need me anymore."

Guy frowns, walking closer, "Kakashi, it's not your fault. I'm sure that-"

"Stop. I should have been there, and I wasn't." His eye closes and he sighs, "I just hope they're okay, wherever they are."

Guy wants to reassure Kakashi, but is unsure how, so he just thinks to himself, standing next to Kakashi as silent support.

Orochimaru lead the two to an open part of the cave, "I want to see what you two are capable of. To do that, you're going to fight each other. And don't hold back."

Naruto took the left, and Sasuke the right. They stood there, looking at each other for a little bit, then run at each other.

Sharingon active, Sasuke dodged under a kick, going behind Naruto, to shove him to the ground with his own kick. But he's quickly back on his feet, turing around, but not fast enough for Sasuke not to see it coming.

"Shadow clone Jutsu!" Five other Naruto's appear and attack Sasuke all at once, it doesn't take that much effort to kick or punch them all into dust, and when he looks at the original Naruto, he has A rasengan active.

Naruto smirks. Then the sound of a bird screech and crackling lighting sounds, as Sasuke runs forward, "Chidori!"

"Rasengan!" They collide and the explosion shakes the cave tunnel. Both of them are blown back, looking battered and bruised, the arms they used for their Jutsu's now red and cut up. Naruto is the first to get back up, and tackles Sasuke to the ground before he can get up.

"Enough!" Orochimaru holds up a hand, "

Naruto gets off Sasuke, and stands back, wiping blood off his cheek. Sasuke gets up as well, panting.

Orochimaru chuckles, then points at Naruto, "It seems you are stronger in Strength." Then he points at Sasuke, "And you, stinger in strategy. Which is interesting, usually it's the other way around in a fight between an Alpha and Omega."

Sasuke looks confused, "What, aren't we both Alphas?"

Naruto scoffs, "I'm not a dumb alpha."

"You're not!?"

"No!?"

"But, you- you don't even smell or act like an omega!"

"What's an Omega supposed to smell and act like!? Huh!?"

"They smell like flowers, and annoying sweet stuff, and they act all chummy around alpha's like me."

"Well I don't! Fuck you!"

Orochimaru laughs at their argument.

After a month of training and fighting, the two were exhausted. But Sasuke couldn't sleep. He still didn't get it. How was Naruto of all people an Omega? He's strong, powerful, an idiot, and smells like a summer's day.

Most omega's, like the girls at their old school, and their teammate Sakura, smelled like sweets, or flowers, Sasuke hated sweet scents and flavors. That and they were constantly fawning over him for attention. Naruto didn't do any of that. And now there he was, sleeping without a care in the world. They were closed now, but those blue eyes of his reminded him of the sky, and his hair like the sun, his smile was warm... Shit, he was falling hard. Maybe he already had, and that was why he invited Naruto to come along?

They had been fighting so much, their clothes had gotten ruined, and they had to wear something else, Sasuke had opted for an open white shirt, black pants, and a purple skirt with a rope around it, Naruto had ditched a shirt altogether, and was wearing black pants, with a dark orange skirt. Naruto's hair had also grown out surprisingly fast, it looked, beautiful.

Sasuke looks at the sleeping Naruto again, and felt the urge to protect, even though Naruto didn't need protection. He'd probably yell at him for jumping in the way, he had before.

They had been training in ways they hadn't before, merging the Rasengan and Chidori seamlessly to make a Rasedori. Or that was what Naruto called it at least. Every day the curse on Sasuke's body spread more, it made him stronger, he didn't even mind it anymore.

Naruto stirs and raises his head, "Sasuke? You're awake already?"

"Yeah, ready to keep training?"

"Of course." Naruto smiles, the determination on his face was one Sasuke found himself smiling softly at.

When they got to the training cave, Orochimaru turned to them, "There's been uh, change of plans. Seems the Akatsuki found out there's a Jinchuriki here, and they want him."

Sasuke's eyes widen, "What do they want with Naruto?"

"They're collecting the tailed beasts for something, not sure what tho. There's already one scoping around, and I don't want trouble here, so, I'm sending you both to the cloud village. You'll meet one of my accomplices there."

Naruto scoffs, "I'm sure we could take em, we're much stronger now."

Orochimaru hisses, "You may think that, but you are overestimating yourself. Besides, they're having a festival over there, so you two should have plenty of fun. You can set out tomorrow."

That night Naruto awoke, and raised his head from his nest of old clothes and blankets. Looking over at Sasuke who was still asleep, then quietly leaving the cave.

It was dark out, and a bit cold, but it didn't bother him much. Just looking up at the moon.

He heard footsteps behind him, then Orochimaru's voice, “I saw that frog you summoned, and the Rasengan. You trained under my old teammate, Jiraiya, didn't you?”

Naruto nods, “Yeah. He's great. I call him pervy sage cause he's always Ogling at girls.”

The other laughs, then sits, “Good to know he's doing well.”

“Tsunade is too, she's Hokage.”

“Hokage? What number is it at now?”

“She's the fifth.”

“Ah, so I didn't miss too much then.”

They sit in silence for a while, till Naruto speaks, “They miss you, you know. They talk about you and how you used to be.”

Orochimaru scoffs, “I'm not going back for them, or to who I was before.”

Naruto sighs, “I miss my old friends, and teachers.” watching his own feet as they kick over the edge.

Orochimaru crossed his arms, he was going to say that attachments like that were hindrances, that they were unnecessary, that they were just something to drag you down, but he said something else, “.... Me too, kid.”

Sakura finished her training under Tsunade, but she kept practicing to get even better at it. Her medical Ninjutsu would be very helpful when the threat of a war was being held over their heads.

Seems Tsunade has other plans, "You've been working so hard, you need a little break. There's a festival being held in the cloud village, you can bring five other people with you, Jiraiya and Kakashi will go with you."

Sakura's eyes widen in surprise, "A festival? But what about-"

"Don't worry about it, everything will be fine, you worry about having fun." Tsunade smiles. She knew Sakura needed a break, she was too hard on herself, and was working herself to the bone, she was determined to get her old teammates back, even if they themselves didn't want to.

Chapter Text

Naruto looked around in awe when they got there, the lights, the colors, the decorations, it was amazing.They had managed to grab Kimonos to fit right in to the crowd.

Sasuke smiles as Naruto leads to him yet another food stand, this one with mochi sticks. And his eyes sparkle when he tries it.

"You're definitely enjoying yourself."

"I've never been to a festival before, it's fun!"

Sasuke chuckles, ah Naruto, you're like a Sunbeam on a cold day.

There's a loud booming voice from a stage, "Ladies and gents! I'd like to introduce you all, to the Cloud's best rapper, Killer bee!"

A man with a cloud village headband, wearing white clothes with red accents, and with darker skin was on stage, "Yo yo yo! It's killer bee yo!"

Naruto goes up to get a closer look, Sasuke following after him, "We're supposed to be looking for someone, remember?"

"Awe man, but he looks cool."

A spot light lands on Naruto, and Killer bee yells out, "Yo! You In the audience! Come up on up stage, yo!"

Before Sasuke can stop him Naruto goes up on stage, his long yellow hair getting messed up by the wind. Well, if he was having fun, it would be okay. Not like anyone would recognize him.

Jiraiya and Kakashi were in the audience, and they immediately recognized Naruto, Jiraiya smiles, "Kinda looks like Minato with his hair like that."

Kakashi nods, "If he's here, Sasuke is too. We have to be smart about this."

Sakura and Ino were eating candied apples, when Sakura lifts her head, "Wait, is that?"

Ino looks too, and they catch a glimpse of black hair, and pale skin, unmistakably, "Sasuke!?"

Hearing his name, he turned, then his eyes went wide, and he disappeared into the audience. He needed to get Naruto and himself out of here, immediately. The leaf was here.

Naruto was a bit too busy being a background dancer for Killer bee, almost like he already knew the moves. He was having a great time. At least, till Akamaru jumped on stage to say hi to him. "Ah, haha! Wait... If Akamaru is here, then.." he spots Kiba in the crowd, then a few of his other old friends. And quickly goes back stage, leaving the dog behind.

Killer bee looked curious, as he went, "Hmmm."

Sasuke went back stage as well, "Naruto! We have to go, I saw-"

"Hidden leaf ninjas? Yeah, me too."

Killer bee meets them back stage, "Hey, hey hey! Why you ruining my show? What's going on?"

Kakashi gets back stage, and Sasuke and Naruto immediately get ready for a fight, but their previous Sensei holds up his hands, "I'm not gonna fight you, let's just go home, both of you. Okay?"

The boys look at each other and make a run for it, Kakashi tries to go after them, but from what Killer bee just saw, Kakashi was probably a threat to those two, so he gets in the way, "I don't remember inviting you back stage, yo!"

Sasuke and Naruto get lost in the crowd again, and sigh, Sharingon active, Sasuke pulls Naruto away before Jiraiya could grab him. Then they keep running, away from the festival.

When they stopped running, they had made it to the sound village, and were quite tired. They hadn't found the person Orochimaru had said would be here yet, so they booked a hotel for the night.

Sasuke sighs, "That was too close."

"What were they even doing there?"

"I don't know, they looked as surprised to see as as we were to see them. But they do know we're here."

"Better them than the Akatsuki." Naruto looks at a paper, "Ooh, this hotel comes with a full bathhouse."

"Really? Huh, that explains why it was so expensive."

Naruto sits up, "Neither of us have washed since we started training with the snake guy."

"Orochimaru?"

"Yeah, the snake guy. So let's go."

Sasuke rolls his eyes, then gets up to follow Naruto.

It was, a very nice bathhouse, with a big tub, showers, and towels you could use then put in a bin afterwards.

Naruto wasted no time getting undressed. No one else was in the bathhouse right now, they were probably all at the festival.

Sasuke got undressed as well, and when he turned around to see, Naruto, fully bare, with obvious muscles, not a single scar on his sun kissed skin, and that gorgeous yellow hair flowing over his shoulders, looking back at Sasuke with those bright blue eyes. Sasuke had to cover his nose since it started bleeding, and to cover his own blush.

Naruto got into the hot bath, and Sasuke soon followed him. Trying to ignore how good he looked with long hair.

His long yellow hair shifts as he turns his head to look at Sasuke, "This is nice after all that running."

"Yeah."

"The curse spread."

"It's not a curse. It makes me stronger."

Sasuke put a hand over the mark on his shoulder, little black flecks that looked like flames had spread to his arm, up his neck, and over part of his face.

Naruto frowns, "I still don't like it."

Chapter Text

Sasuke has a little towel on his head, only his nose and up above the water, his Sharingon active as he watches Naruto wash his long hair, it looked so good on him, it was long, but still spiky looking, not as flat as his own, even when wet. He wanted to touch it.

Naruto rises the soap from his hair, the water and suds gliding down the curves of his body in streams. He has no right being to pretty. He had to wipe his nose before it bleed again from his reddened face.

Naruto sunk back into the water, "Are you gonna wash your hair?"

Sasuke snaps out of his trance, "Yeah, yeah, in a bit."

"I can do it for you."

".... Okay."

Sasuke had a soft blush on his face as Naruto washed his hair, gently tugging out knots, and softly scratching his head occasionally. It, reminded him a bit of how his mom used to brush his hair.

Naruto scrubbed in the soap, and Sasuke couldn't help leaning into it, those hands were strong, firm, while also gentle and caring.

He felt Naruto's soft hand on the side of his face, and turned his head to kiss the palm. Making the other smile.

The soap is rinsed from his hair, and he looks back at Naruto, who's smiling brightly as he always does.

"Thanks."

"Any time!"

Naruto scoots closer, and Sasuke doesn't move away. Then there's a hand on his neck, where the curse mark is. "I still don't like it."

"Why? It's just a mark."

"Yeah, but it's like he owns you. And I don't like seeing it."

Sasuke chuckles, "You could always mark me." Then he pales at his own words, "Wait, I didn't mean it like that, I-"

He looks at Naruto, his face just as red as his own, "Heh, I mean, I would if you let me."

They stay there in silence, aside from the sound of water dripping from a broken faucet.

Then Sasuke speaks, "I would let you."

"Would? Or are?"

Naruto pulls Sasuke closer, and gently breathes on his neck, making the small hairs tingle.

Sasuke nods, "I am, letting you."

"I can mark you? For real?"

Sasuke just nods again, blushing softly, "I'll mark you too, if you want."

Naruto smiles, "I thought you'd never ask."

He tilts Sasuke's head, and kisses him. The first few times the two had kissed it was an accident, this, was no accident. He leaned into it, turning around to face him without breaking the kiss, and gently holds his head, hand in that gorgeous golden hair.

Naruto licks his bottom lip, and his mouth opens, their tongues entwining, dancing together, Naruto even sucking on his tongue a couple times, it made him shutter. How was an omega so dominant?

Naruto pushes closer, the water splashing around them, as he straddles Sasuke's hips between his own.

"Naruto."

"Yes Sasuke?" His chin was on Sasuke's neck, gently nipping at the soft skin.

"Keep going~"

Naruto smirks against his neck, and licks a stripe up to his ear. Rubbing the soft lips of his own sex along Sasuke's, now very erect dick.

Sasuke shivers, and hold on to Naruto's back, and head as he's pushed against the wall, gasping when he feels warm, velvety soft walls around his tip.

Naruto smirks, and slowly lowers himself to just above Sasuke's knot. Leaving him breathless.

"Are we sure you're the alpha in this relationship?" Naruto chuckles.

"Shut up, Ursatonkachi."

Naruto laughs again, then starts moving, the water splashing and creating waves from the up and down motion.

Sasuke's nails digging into Naruto's back while he was ridden, panting softly. And moans, throwing his head back as Naruto keeps mouthing at his neck.

"Fuck~ faster~"

Naruto complies, moving faster, riding Sasuke in earnest. He can feel Sasuke's knot starting to throb, and he pushes down till it slides inside, making Sasuke gasp, then start cumming. But before he can make any other noise, Naruto kisses him roughly, silencing any sounds.

When they part Sasuke is out of breath, then tilts his head, and Naruto bites down, damn his teeth were sharper than he expected, so sharp he hardly felt it. But he did feel an odd warmth, and he bites down on Naruto's shoulder.

Their chakra mixing together as a bond is created, Naruto's chakra is warm, comforting, but then it suddenly gets hot, too hot, and almost feels like fire spreading through his skin, it makes him sweat, but he doesn't mind at all.

Then they both let go, panting.

"Damn~ wait, you've been taking birth control right?"

"You ask that now?" Naruto chuckles.

"W-well I was a little distracted!"

Naruto laughs then, "Yes I am, obviously. Or I wouldn't have done this."

Sasuke sighs, and Naruto gives him a little kiss on the cheek. Then Naruto notices that the curse mark on Sasuke's shoulder, was fading. Good. He hated looking at it anyway. Sasuke was his, not Orochimaru's.

Chapter Text

Naruto uses a towel to dry off his hair, quickly moving it back and forth, and when he takes the towel away, his long yellow hair is completely fluffed up, you can't even see his eyes. Sasuke couldn't hold back a laugh, "You look ridiculous!"

The other laughs as well, "I can't see."

Sasuke gently parts the hair in front of naruto's eyes, revealing his bright blue eyes, "There you are."

Naruto smiles, blushing just a little, "Thanks."

Passing the mirror, Sasuke saw the curse was gone, and he touched where it had been gently, then he looked at his hand, and gasped. The scar he had had on his hand was gone, he inspected the rest of himself, and sure enough, every scar and callus was gone, "How odd."

"Sasuke! When you're done checking yourself out, let's go back to the room."

"Right, of course."

He wraps a towel around his waist, like Naruto had. Following his bright sunbeam to their room they had rented. The two only pulling on their pants before getting into bed together to sleep.

"Good night Sasuke."

"Good night, Naruto."

He awoke in a dream, laying on top of a water covered ground, then stood up, looking around. He heard deep breathing, and warm wind on the back of his neck, so he turned around, seeing a huge cage, with a giant orange fox on the other side, there were black marking' on it's face, nine tails behind it, and it looked angry.

When it spoke, it's voice was deep, booming, growly, like what one would imagine a demon sounds like, "So, Uchiha brat, you finally went and bonded with my vessel did you?" He laughs.

Sasuke falls back, looking up at the fox with wide eyes, "Who- who are you!?"

"Me? You humans call me the Nine tailed demon fox. But my name, Is Kuruma." He huffs, steam leaving the sides of his mouth.

Sasuke gets up, face no longer showing fear, "So, you're the reason every adult in the leaf village thinks Naruto is a monster."

The fox laughs once more, "It would seem I am." he smiles, a wickedly toothy grin, full of sharp teeth.

Sasuke huffs, "What do you want with me?"

"Just thought you should know, you are now, a psudo-jinchuriki. Through the bond you share with Naruto, I can lend you my power. I can heal you, and give you chakra. That isn't to say I want too, it's just a side-effect of your little, arrangement."

Sasuke's eyes widen, so that was why all his scars and the curse were gone, the fox healed them, "Does this mean you can also take over my body too?"

"How perceptive of you, little uchiha. Yes, it does. So watch your back."

He's thrown out of the dream with so much force he wakes up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily, and looked over at naruto, just in time to see that red chakra go back to the mark on his belly.

Just what had he gotten himself into?

He couldn't exactly sleep after that, so he watched Naruto sleep. Was always this adorable? Or was their new bond making him feel that way? He cards his fingers though those soft golden locks. He kinda hopes Naruto doesn't cut it again.

After a bit of fighting, Killer Bee and Kakashi are sitting across from each other, talking.

Kakashi let's out a sigh, "They're my students. I'm responsible for them, and that Includes getting them back home safe. If you could help me with that, I'd greatly appreciate it."

Bee nods, "I see. I would like to make a request though. That Naruto is a jinchuriki, and is a bit unstable with his connection to the beast. I would like to train him. Of course, it will let me gain his trust, and he'll be more willing the listen to me. So it'll be a win win for everyone."

The other nods, "That's fine. I'd appreciate if you update me on his progress whenever you can."

Bee gives a thumbs up, "You got it!"

Chapter Text

The two leave the inn the next morning. Feeling refreshed. And head to the meeting point. Where they were supposed to meet one of Orochimaru's underlings, this one named Kabuto.

It was a man with white hair, wearing glasses and he smiles in a way that's almost a smirk, "Oh good, you two made it. I was getting worried."

Sasuke scoffs, "We ran into some trouble yesterday."

Naruto smiles, "So we're we headed?"

Kabuto points at a mountain, "Up there."

Naruto, being Naruto, goes ahead, Sasuke smiling softly, then frown as Kabuto keeps stride with him, "What do you want?"

Kabuto smiles, "Just curious, how did you get the Jinchuriki to trust you like that? It'll make him more willing to cooperate with us."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Oh, you don't know? Orochimaru joined the Akatsuki, and is helping them collect the tailed beasts. How convenient that we already have on-"

Sasuke punches Kabuto in in the face,breaking his glasses, then runs ahead to grab Naruto by the hand.

"Sasuke!? What-!?"

He pulls Naruto with him as he runs, "We can't trust him, or Orochimaru anymore. Okay?"

"What!? Why!?"

"They joined the Akatsuki and now they're after you."

"Eh!?

A kunai flies past them, and Sasuke grabs it midair, then slid to a stop and gets ready to fight.

Kabuto chuckles, "Ah, Sasuke, you'd really rather protect a vessel for a monster Kyuubi than learn more of what Orochimaru has to teach you? A shame really."

Sasuke holds out a hand, and with a roar that sounds like screeching birds, the Chidori appears in his hand.

Kabuto is able to dodge it, only for five Naruto's to hit him with a barrage of attacks all at once.

He hits them all with Kunai and they poof to clouds, shadow clones.

He turns around and gasps, seeing the real Naruto, with a Rasengan in his palm, then Sasuke takes his hand, and it crackles with electricity, it was like a small lightning filled tornado in their hands, "Arashigon..."

He could not let it hit him. Getting too close was not an option. So he decides to flee, "Orochimaru will have your head when he hears of this betrayal Sasuke! And we'll take your little Jinchuriki too!"

They throw it at him anyway, and he looks back just enough to gasp, wide-eyed as he narrowly escapes, it hits a rock instead, and he's hit with a gust of wind, and a few sparks of electricity. If it hurt this much just by being near it, he didn't want to think what would have happened if it did hit him.

Sasuke scoffs, "Coward."

He notices Naruto pouting, "Something wrong."

"Oh, it's nothing serious, I'm just mad I have to leave the nest I made behind."

"You made a nest?"

"Well, kinda, it had our old clothes, and snacks and stuff in it, I kept it kinda hidden in our room in Orochimaru's cave."

Sasuke sighs, having forgotten that was something Omegas did, "Well, we can make you another one when we find somewhere safe to settle, alright?"

"Alright."

The fourth Hokage, is sitting at his desk, when he hears that familiar deep voice, that's been in his head since he bonded with Kushina.

"Really? You're even considered the yellow flash when it comes to paperwork? You really do try too hard."

Minato smiles, hearing the fox's words, "I don't work nearly enough. I have a child on the way, after all."

The fox laughs in his mind, and he just sets the last paper aside, "You know, for. Kyuubi, you talk an awful lot like a human."

"How dare you!"

Minato gets up from his desk, ignoring the angry yelling from the fox. At least, till he suddenly went quiet.

"Hello? Fox?"

"......"

He rushes home, through the streets of Konoha. Kushina better be okay!

He skids to a stop in front of his front door, and opens it, to find his wife had been cut open in the stomach, gasping for breath as a Ninja he didn't know, was about to run off with his child.

The anger he felt, it nothing he had ever felt before, as his vision went red he vaguely recalled allowing the fox to take over his body.

And when he came too, there were Kunai, ninja stars, swords, and arrows all over his body. And he coughed up blood onto the hand of the third Hokage, who had a look of fear in his eyes.

Hiruzen was breathing heavy, holding a newborn child in his left arm, with a sealing mark on his belly.

"What did you-?"

"I got the demon out of you, and Into him. Though I fear I was too late."

Minato looks behind him, and his eyes go wide, half the village was destroyed and on fire, "D-did I-?"

"Yes. Now before you die, I think this child needs a name."

"....Naruto... Give him my wife's last name, he shouldn't carry the guilt of mine.... And please, take care of him for me?"

"I'll do what I can."
