Chapter Text

It was a really day cloudy in Roa, which might look perfectly normal to most people but to someone knowledgeable would know something is off.

In the balcony of the Shirone Kingdom's royal palace stood a blue haired petite woman,who had a feeling something was strange here with the sudden gathering of clouds in the west, "What's wrong roxy" questioned Prince Pax, the seventh prince of the Shirone Kingdom.

"Something strange is happening in the west" responded Roxy, the petite blue haired girl who was the teacher of the young but ugly prince. "Oh, so that's where your lover lives, thinking about him already, you already know Roxy that I am way better than him already him, since I am a prince ?" said Pax with pride.

Roxy responded “ he is not my lover, he is just my beloved student ",  Pax just gave a grin as if he is going to believe that. Roxy just simply sighed she knew arguing with the braindead prince was not worth her time.

Then Roxy looked again at the strange formation of cloud gathering in the west and nonchalantly stated "I am going to investigate there". Pax responded with shock "wait, you are going to leave?" .

Roxy replied coldly by stating "Obviously, the deal that I made with the king was until you turn 15, so I will be leaving soon". Pax in absolute horror and denial of the situation replied "But…but..if you leave, who will be the one to teach me magic".

Roxy then replied not even with the slight care for the young prince "Find someone else who could teach you magic , honestly teaching you was nothing but a waste of time" then she looked with curiosity to the ever so mysterious formation of clouds in the west.

After hearing such a statement from his master , Prince Pax was both heartbroken and frustrated, he tried to think of a way to stop Roxy from leaving, but this effort will all for naught , since no one could stop something that is fated to happen.

At the top of the red wyrm mountain, stood a man with slightly long white hair and with a stature that every being to exist would fear, he was none other than the Dragon God Orsted . Suddenly a red wyrm flew down to prey on him but a single look at the Dragon god stunned the poor wyrm, he was now stricken with fear, was the man in front of him the prey or was he? was the question on the mind of the poor wyrm, in fear of its own life the wyrm quickly flew away .

The Dragon God stood there as if nothing had happened, looking towards the mysterious cloud formation in sky he muttered "Thats strange , something unusual is happening in the west, i have never experenced such an event in any of my previous loops, i must investigate about it". The Dragon God observed closely the color and formation of the clouds and its direction , he thouroughly studied it and through his vast experience and lifespan identified its source and stated "Its definitely summoning magic, by looks of it the Kingdom of Asura. The question is who is doing this….this might be somesort of ploy set by hitogami and his apostles, i must reach there fast".said the Dragon God as he left for the kingdom of Asura.

The legendary sky floating castle also known as the Chaos Breaker , the legendary hero Armored Dragon King Perugius Dola sat on his throne watching with curiosity of the event perspiring , from his experience he could tell it was summoning magic, but the question on his mind was who was summoning and who was the one being summoned.

He had a bad feeling that it was his arch enemy Demon God Laplace , if so then he must get rid of the person summoning. He summoned his familiar Almamfi the radiant . “What is your command, Perugius sama?"said Almamfi.

"Go down there and check what is happening, if you find something suspicious kill it " commanded perugius,  "understood" responded Almamfi as he left for the location.

In Buena village, "Zenith san" said Sylphy, calling Rudeus's mother ,"Oh Sylphy, what got you here dear?"said Zenith. "I came for a visit, are norn and aisha ok?" said Sylphy , "yes , they are both fine but tell me the real reason why you came here" replied Zenith with a cheeky smile as she caught her red handed.

Sylphy blushingly replied "Well i just wanted to give Rudy a present for his tenth birthday". Zenith thought 'even though we separated them, she still thinks of Rudy, thats good I hope Rudy does not betray her feelings in the future just like his father did with me'.

"Well, you can give it to Lillia to send it to him in a mail" said Zenith,"Thank you Zenith san" replied Sylphy as she left to find Lillia,the housemaid.

Sylphy entered the house, where Lillia welcomed her , "What brings you are lady Sylphiette?" said Lillia." I was wondering if you could send Rudy a gift for his tenth birthday present that I made" replied Sylphy.

"I see, that will not be of any issue until then i will keep it safe and send it to master Rudeus later" said Lillia in her usual demeanor. "Here then take it, I made a pendant for Rudy, that my father suggested so that he never forgets about me" said Sylphy as she hands the pendant to Lillia.

Then Aisha came into the room and stated " mother, i have picked up the clothes" Lillia replied " now put them in the basket for laundry". Aisha replied "alright" as she left.

"The sky seems awfully cloudy today, i don't think this is usual" said Sylphy nervously looking at the sky,"Indeed" agreed Lillia, she was a smart woman, she knew its really unusual for things like this to happen normally.

Then for some reason Norn starting crying, it was then revealed Zenith said she tried to tell Norn about the Superd race, then again it was not really unusual for a child to get scared of the stories of Superd race and start crying, Zenith tried to calm her down but to no avail.

Paul Greyrat, the patriarch of the family finally entered the house and questioned what was the commotion about,"Oh dear, can you please make Norn stop crying" said Zenith as she handed Norn to Paul, in the hands of Paul Norn slowly stopped crying. Paul then calmly said with worry “monsters are growing in numbers recently here, i better inform Philip of what's happening and the sky is really messed up today” .

In the plains near Roa, Rudeus, Eris and Gyslaine stood , Rudeus said as he started to use some spells "Water ball",a huge ball of water formed on the staff gifted by Eris. Rudeus said with excitement “ Wow, I have never created a water ball this big, this thing is really powerful”, Eris replied with pride “Obviously, glad you like it”, Rudeus nodded happily.

"Alright, today I am going to show you two of my strongest magic spell Water Saint tier Spell : Cumulonimbus" declared Rudeus with pride as it was his greatest technique his master Roxy had taught him.Both Eris and Gyslaine cheered with excitement.

Rudeus took a huge breath and started spellcasting "Grand spirit of water and imperial prince of lightning who ... huh what is that? "questioned Rudeus as he stopped suddenly.

Eris was confused and questioned "What happened Rudeus, why did you stop?". "What is that thing in the sky?" asked Rudeus.

Gyslaine quickly used her demon eye to confirm what the circular structure was and stated with astonishment"What an insane amount of mana". Gyslaine declared "Rudeus, Eris lets go and leave, it's not safe here, let's go we have to inform Philip sama and Sauros sama quickly".

As they began to leave, a mysterious flash of light tried to attack Rudeus but Gyslaine was there to protect him in the right amount of time. “Gyslaine , are you ok what happened?” questioned Eris as she could not understand the situation. Gyslaine warned “Eris, Rudeus stay back this guy is dangerous”.

The enemy that attacked Rudeus wore a mask and a school uniform. He said “Stay away woman,I came here by the orders of Perugius sama if I kill his child this calamity might stop” said Almanfi the radiant.

Rudeus thought ‘ What!? Perugius sama, isn’t he the legendary hero, why would he want to me dead’. Gyslaine responded to Almanfi “Leave us alone, Rudeus has nothing to do with this, I swear on my title as a Sword King and as a member of the Deoldia tribe ” ,

Almanfi was surprised and said “You are a Sword King?! like I would believe such lies”. Gyslaine responded “Then feast your eyes upon my beloved Sword Flat Core , which was given by my master, The Sword God Gal Farion himself, is this not enough proof to you ”.

Almanfi responded “ Very well, but if you are lying, then your fate shall be decided by Perugius sama himself ”with those words Almanfi shifted his gaze towards a surprised Rudeus.

Rudeus tried to calm down Almanfi by first politely introducing himself to him “ Nice to meet you, I am Rudeus Greyrat. I think there has to be some misunderstanding here, I was just showing these two my strongest spell, Water Saint Tier Spell: Cumulonimbus , as I was chanting the incantations for that spell then these mysterious clouds started forming, I was not even able to release the flow of mana from my staff ”.

However this made Almanfi even more furious and replied “A saint tier spell?! , do honestly you take me for a fool, most grown humans can't even perform such a feat but you are nothing but a mere child” said Almanfi in his rage. “If not for that Sword King, I would have already slaughtered you” continued Almanfi.

Rudeus thought in his mind “Dammit, I should not have said that I was able to use Saint tier spells so carelessly , he is even more suspicious of us right now”.

Then suddenly the sky turned more dark and scary, Eris questioned "Woah, what is happening Rudeus?! ", Rudeus responded “I don't know what is going on Eris?”. Eris replied “but..but you always know what is happening”.Rudeus responded “Eris, I am not a god, I don’t know everything”. Rudeus thought “ shit, this is not good , i don’t even know what is even happening or going to happen at this point ”.

Gyslaine opened her eye patch and looked again with the demon eye at the calamity that was happening before her, she thought “ this is an insane amount of mana that is flowing in the sky , the mana is..concentrating on a single place as if it's going to strike at one place, by how coordinated it is, this has to be the work of someone, i don’t know what will happen if that immense beam of mana hits us, but it is better to avoid it ”. Gyslaine then stated “Rudeus, Eris be careful the flow of mana is concentrating on a singular point, it could strike any of us if we don’t go to a safer place”.

Rudeus thought “ concentrating!? , i get it now so.. it's charging up like a cannon as if it's going to fire. Good estimation Gyslaine, I know the smart thing to do is to run away to a safe place but to where, we are so far away from the manor, I doubt we will reach it in time before it fires”.

As Rudeus was in deep thought , it finally happened a strong beam of absolute bright light hit a area roughly half a mile away from them, this bright flash of light caught the attention of everyone not only in Roa but in the entirety of the Fittoa region.This powerful beam light caused heavy destruction and caused a giant crater to appear the place it struck. It happened so suddenly everyone was caught by surprise and left nothing to be able to do, but luckily for everyone it just happened to hit an empty area.

After the beam of light had seceded, it left a crater that was roughly 43 meters long and 12 meters deep, every tree in the vicinity of the crater was destroyed .Soon the mysterious mana calamity was starting to clear up, the sky was turning back to normal slowly and steadily. Rudeus, Eris, Gyslaine and even Almanfi were caught by surprise by the recent events that transpired a few moments ago.

Rudeus thought ‘ Thank god, that beam did not hit us, otherwise we would have all been toast,..the sky..is turning back normal again ’. Gyslaine again looked through her demon eyes and thought ‘ The concentration of Mana is ...dispersing, so that must explain the sky going back normal, what the hell was that calamity…no.. I don’t think it was supposed to be a natural calamity, either way i am relieved that it did not hit us’.

Almanfi thought ‘ That Beam… what was that, it instantly destroyed the surrounding area and created a crater. I was going to evade that beam if it were to ever get close to me. Still I have suspicion on that little boy… Rudeus Greyrat was it, but for now I must investigate the crater as per Perugius Sama‘s orders’ then he left in a flash to the nearby crater.

Gyslaine was confused when Almanfi left and wondered ‘ that guy what is he up to now, don’t tell he is going to the crater…’ Gyslaine then told the other two “ Eris , Rudeus follow me we are going to investigate the crater”. With that both Eris and Rudeus followed behind her.

Almanfi went to investigate the crater that was made by the mana calamity , not far behind was Gyslaine followed by Eris and Rudeus, Almanfi upon reaching the crater they was absolutely flabbergasted .

Inside the crater that was formed they found a girl with black hair, she looked like she was 17 . She was in a school uniform, Almanfi curiously asked the girl " Who are you ?, are you some kind of hero that was summoned?". However the girl looked confused as if she could not understand a word he was saying.The girl started speaking an unknown language that Almanfi could not understand.

Gyslaine , Rudeus and Eris finally arrived, shocked to only see a girl in the middle of a crater, all three of them were shocked and utterly dumbfounded. But even if he was shocked , felt an unusual familiarity upon seeing the girl’s face. The only words that formed on Rudeus’s mind was “THAT…GIRL...ITS HER AGAIN”.

After the light struck a nearby area it created a crater, inside a crater laid a black haired woman of roughly 17 years old, everyone nearby was shocked and was confused as to why was a girl there.Almamfi tried to talk to the girl but it seemed like the girl could not understand what he was saying.The girl then spoke an unknown language that no one knew except Rudeus.

Rudeus pov:

‘THAT GIRL…its…her...HER, she looks just like the girl I saw that day before I died ’ I thought. ‘ Those words…that voice, even though it's been a long time… it's definitely Japanese and she is definitely the same girl from that day I have no doubt in my mind. But..why is she here and how did she even get here?' I wondered.

‘ Only I could understand her words, but I don't think starting a conversation with her would be a smart thing to do here especially, when the guy that wants to kill me is already very suspicious and I don’t look forward to increasing his suspicion even more.’ I concluded. “Even she looks confused, that must mean she did not come here on purpose, someone without her consent must have sent her here, but why her and why here?” I thought .

“What the hell was that strange beam of light anyway ?” I wondered to myself. ‘Could it be that the calamity was some sort of summoning spell, I heard it from master Roxy once about those types of magic, unfortunately she herself did not know much about summoning magic ,’I theorized .

 Nanahoshi pov:

"Where am I, what happened, who are these people?" I questioned myself. "At one moment I was going to school and now I am here," I concluded."Just who are these people and why are their outfits so weird and why do they look so confused , i guess starting a conversation wouldn’t hurt "i concluded.

"Hello my name is Nanahoshi Shizuka, do you know by any chance, where i am?" I said this in my native japanese. “The guy wearing a mask in a school outfit looked confused, it's as if he did not understand a word i said” i thought. “Then the same guy said some words back to me , i could not understand a single word he said either, the language this guy was speaking was not japanese” i was shocked.

“Neither does this place does not look like japan and nor is this guy speaking japanese' i was shocked.

'JUST WHERE ON EARTH Am I ? , WHICH CONTINENT AM I IN ?WHICH COUNTRY IS THIS?” I questioned myself. “DAMMIT HOW DID I EVEN END UP HERE ?” i screamed mentally, “i... have to calm down...somehow, i have to.. go back home , but first i have to know where the on earth am i, it's a pain in the ass that none of them speak japanese, should i speak english but i have never been that good in english either but it's worth a try” i thought to myself.

"Um... Helo my...uh..namme o...Nanahoshi...um how do...you do uhhhhh ummm D..o... y..o..u uhhhnddersttanndo mee?" i said in english , “shit, i don't even know what i am saying is correct or not, i should have paid more attention in my english lessons”.

“Dammit none of them understood a word i said, well then i guess this is not the uk or us,” i thought and then looked at the group of people surrounding me “There is the guy with the mask, a kid with brunette hair , a girl with red hair and a dark skin woman wearing revealing clothes” i concluded.

“Wait a minute...WHY IS SHE wearing Such Revealing Clothes honestly and even in front of those kids, does she have no sense of shame.... wait are those cat ears, why the hell does she have cat ears, those have to be fake,right.” I thought. “Those ears look... real somehow, if those ears are real, wait is she even...human, IS THIS EVEN EARTH AT THIS POINT,..no.. it looks like earth to me but don't tell me..i got isekaied to another world , i thought those were just in animes, WHAT THE HELL IS EVEN GOING ON AT THIS POINT ?” I thought.

Inside the crater the girl with black hair stood confused, shocked and a sense of pity came from rudeus as he was the only one who understood everyword she said, but unable to converse and help her because he did not want to raise any suspicion in himself.

Almamfi then stated “Seems as if the girl is from a distant land, I don't seem to recognize the language” . Rudeus then asked Almamfi "What are you going to do now?". Almamfi answered back “I plan to take her to the Chaos Breaker as my report to Perugius sama , only he could solve this issue i believe”.

Rudeus then questioned his decision “But I don't think it would be right to bring the lady to Perugius sama forcefully when none of us could understand her language” .

“It would be best if i pretend i don't know her and don't understand her language, please forgive me miss, i wish i could help you” . Rudeus's thoughts pleaded to the unknown woman for forgiveness.

Almanfi stated “ There are a lot of books and manuscripts inside the Chaos Breaker from various parts of history stored which might contain some hints about where the woman is from and what language she is speaking.Also I want YOU and that SWORD KING to tag along as well, you two are still suspicious in my eyes”.

Gyslaine said “Very well, I will come along to prove Rudeus's innocence but before that I need to tell my master Philip sama and Sauros sama about what happened here”. Almamfi responded “ very well then, i will first take the lady with me to the Chaos Breaker, then i will come to take you to the chaos breaker but if you two don't show up then i will go and find you two myself and drag you two to Perugius sama himself ". Just as he said those words he walked towards a terrified nanahoshi and knocked her out with a blow to the head which made her lose consciousness and then picked her up and vanished.

Rudeus mentally sighed but also he felt immense sympathy for the poor girl, who was forcibly dragged into this mess.

Gyslaine then said “Rudeus, Eris lets retreat to Philip sama and Sauros sama and tell them of events that occured here”.

Inside the Boreas manor.

There stood a tall man with brown hair with a sense of relief on his face upon seeing the upcoming three figures , that man was Philip Boreas Greyrat, he said as he saw Gyslaine, Rudeus and Eris approaching him , “Oh, Rudeus , Eris, Gyslaine i am glad you three are fine, what were those clouds and what was that light that strangely appeared?”, Gyslaine said “Philip sama, I don't know what was the cause of those mysterious clouds and that strange light, but when rudeus was casting his saint tier spell, those clouds mysterious got darker and the weather got worse as we tried to escape then a mysterious person with a mask attacked us, he called himself as Almamfi, he had tried to kill Rudeus as he suspected him to the cause of the mysterious event that happened today, but i defended Rudeus and lady Eris, and tried to convince him that Rudeus was innocent, and even by swearing my pride as a Sword King and as a member of the Doldia tribe, he was still not totally convinced enough though”.

Philip replied "Good work protecting Eris and Rudeus, Gyslaine".Gyslaine replied "Thank you".

Philip sama "Philip's thoughts shifted to the words “Saint tier spell” , he thought “Rudeus has stayed in the Boreas manor for 3 years already, but he has never told me that he capable of even use saint tier spells , it seems he is more powerful and capable than I initially thought he was, being able to use saint class magic at the age of 10 is quite a remarkable feat, but when did he learn did it and from who exactly, he would be most useful in helping me to take over as the head of the Boreas family, if only he were to agree , I have not given up yet, I would convince Rudeus to join me anyhow, but for the time being i must focus on the recent events that have recently perspired” .

Suddenly there was a huge slam of the door and a shout came from a man who looked to be around in his 50s , he was Sauros Boreas Greyrat, the mayor of roa he shouted “ERIS, RUDEUS ARE TWO ALRIGHT ?” as he said as he came busting into the room with concern on his face for both of them and hugged both of them tightly. Rudeus thought “Ah , it hurts he might break my bones with his bear hug” . Rudeus gently tapped his hand against Sauros's shoulder, signalling him to let go of them.

He stood up and looked at Gyslaine and said " You did a great job Gyslaine in protecting those two, you will be rewarded ”. Gyslaine replied "Thank you Sauros sama".

Then a woman with long red hair bursting came into the room and quickly hugged both Rudeus and Eris at the sight of them again in a deep tight hug, this time Rudeus did not protest as her big breasts were pastered on his face during the hug and he blushed a lot , the woman hugged them tightly like those two were the most precious things in her life and like a good mother she was worried sick for them, Eris protested to let to this time so the woman let go, much to the annoyance of Rudeus.

The woman's name was Hilda Boreas Greyrat, the mother of Eris Boreas Greyrat. Hilda said “ Eris, Rudeus I was so worried for you two”, Eris responded with “geez mother, it was not really nothing to be worried about”. Eris's response was mostly due not knowing about the situation properly and its consequences.

Rudeus advised Eris “Eris, "I think you should at least be a little nice and not act tough towards your own mother”. Eris responded with “I understand” this is something she said usually with a pouty face, she says she understands but she in fact did not understand a single thing most of the time.

Then Gyslaine said “Philip sama, Sauros sama and Hilda sama, since you all are gathered here it is the best time for me to tell you what truly happened during the incident”. All three members of the Boreas family calmed down and listened silently as Gyslaine began to narrate the events that have perspired today".

30 minutes later

All three members of the Boreas family were shocked when it was revealed that a black haired girl around the age of 17 was inside the crater which was created by the strange light hitting the ground, Philip mostly remained calm but very curious about the situation, Sauros and Hilda were shocked and happy that nothing serious had happened, little did they know how serious the situation was.

When Gyslaine revealed more about Almanfi, she revealed that he had came to investigate about the situation by the order of Perugius sama. All three members of the Boreas family now understood how serious the situation must have been if the Armoured Dragon King, Perugius Dola had gotten himself involved, most people did not know if he still lived to this day but there was a rumour that he is waiting for Demon God Laplace to return so he could finally kill him once and for all . However this interference proves his existence still in this world, that would mean Almamfi was one of Perugius's 12 familiars.

Philip responded "I see, if Perugius sama had gotten involved the situation was indeed something serious, tell me Gyslaine what happened to the girl?”. Gyslaine responded “Philip sama, Almamfi took the girl with him to the Chaos Breaker, and he is coming here to take both me and Rudeus to the Chaos Breaker since he was still suspicious of both of us so that Perugius sama can make his decision”.

Philip was more shocked but managed to keep his calm and then said “You should have mentioned it first, oh well...".

Gyslaine responded “Please forgive me, Phillip sama”.

However there those who were not able to keep their calm were Hilda and Sauros, then suddenly Sauros shouted “LISTEN EVERYONE WE ARE ALL GOING TO THE CHAOS BREAKER TO PROVE RUDEUS IS INNOCENT, EVERYBODY BE IN YOUR BEST MANNERS WHILE GREETING PERUGIUS SAMA AND DO NOT DISRESPECT HIM IN THE SLIGHTEST".

Philip then said “Father, i don't think Perugius sama would all us to visit his castle”.Sauros then shouted philip and replied “SHUT IT PHILIP, we will talk it out with his familiar to allow us to go to Chaos Breaker and meet Perugius sama”.

Philip thought “father is stubborn as always”, he replied as he knew arguing with the old man was useless "very well father".

Hilda told to Rudeus “Rudeus, don't worry all of us would go meet Perugius sama and convince him that this was none of your doing” as she said those words she patted him on his head. Rudeus in utter denial and shock thought “Why?...Why are you standing up for me? didn't you used to hate me before yesterday? what made you have change of mind and care...about me?”.

Rudeus was only able to utter one word from his mouth and that was "Why?", Hilda replied with a warm motherly smile saying "Rudeus i see you as my child, you have stayed way longer than most of my own children in this household, when i gave birth to my two sons i was extremely happy, i felt like i was the happiest woman in the world...and then”, she sighed and continued with a sad smile "they were taken away from me , my own children were taken away from me because of some stupid tradition that ran in the Boreas family, when you came into this house to teach eris, i felt like why does the child of someone else get to live in my own house but not my own children, i did not like you , i detested you but you had grown over me after spending 3 years here and helped us by saving Eris's life, helping Eris learn while the other more established tutors failed and singlehandedly saving Eris's 10th birthday and saving the Boreas family from humiliation, from then i began to see you as a part of our household , you may have not came from me but i see you as my son".

Hilda hugged Rudeus, however Rudeus did not react in the perverted way like before, but stayed in a calm manner and thought , “Throughout my past life, i have never had a set of parents that loved me in this way, when they died i didn't even remember their names nor their faces in their old age, i never felt like they loved me in the way that both paul and zenith and philip and hilda show me love in this world, i don't want them to go away like my previous parents too, i...uh...just...don't...!” with that thought a single shed of tear came from Rudeus's eyes, that he quickly wiped off but not before being noticed by Philip.

Philip thought “These were not the fake tears that he spilled during the birthday party yesterday but real emotions, so i see then he has taken a liking to us, it is good development if we convince Perugius sama that Rudeus is innocent, Rudeus might come into debt to us , then i plan to take the position as head of the Boreas family with his help and not only that it seems Eris has also taken a liking to him, i plan to arrange a marriage between both of them, not only will this get rid of the possible headache of finding Eris a good husband approved by both her and the entirety of our family but also since Rudeus is a blood descendant of the Notos family, after we get rid of Philemon from the head of the Notos family, i will make him the next head of the Notos family, the connection that was severed between the Boreas and Notos families, a long time ago by Philemon will finally be connected” this was the plan Philip hatched.

Philip boreas greyrat was an ambitious man, who had lost the battle for the head of the Boreas family to his brother James, thus was forced to give away his sons due to an ancient tradition in the Boreas family to prevent the other familiy members from taking over one day , he had lost all hope but when he saw Rudeus and his marvelous achievements his ambition reignitted and burned more fiercely than ever, he quickly made a plan to take the leadership of the Boreas household, he bargained his daughter's hand in marriage to Rudeus for this plan but Rudeus was so astonished by the absourdity of the the situation that he declared it as a drunken rambling.

Philip said that “Very well, we will wait for this familiar to arrive, Gyslaine do you know where this familiar would arrive?” .Gyslaine replied “No, Philip sama he did not say anything from where he would take us to the Chaos Breaker”.
