Chapter 1: A Psychic, Medium, Fortune Teller, and Angel

Chapter Text

Kusuo sighed. As usual, his life was anything but quiet. As he took a bite of coffee jelly ordered at Café Mami, he looked back as Aiura Mikoto burst in, her face covered in urgency. What a fun way to spend his first day of summer break.

“Kusuo! I just saw a huge disturbance that’s going to happen!” she exclaimed, pointing dramatically at the crystal ball in her hand. “There’s going to be a dimensional rift opening soon, and you’re the cause for it!”

Kusuo’s face looked at her blankly. Great. Another headache he didn’t ask for.

Toritsuka Reita and Teruhashi Kokomi walked into the cafe. “Dimensional rift? Aiura, what does this mean?” Toritsuka was carrying her multiple bags that Kusuo assumed others had bought for her. “Like, something with the universe will be tampered with. Another dimension will go to us. At least that’s what I got from my predictions.” Aiura lazily explained.

“A rift in the dimensions!? My life is so boring right now, as long as it’s not too crazy I’m in!! Ever since you told…” Toritsuka started to ramble, the timing perfect as Saiki had just started to mentally shut him out.

“Actually, he is right,” Aiura muttered “Ever since you told everyone about your psychic abilities, life has been kinda bland lately…” They weren’t wrong. Kusuo believed it’s probably why the writers had dragged it on for so long. Once he had told them, there were no more entertaining episodes, hence why his show ended. The only thing to revive it would be a sequel or a crossover…

A crossover. Before Kusuo could think any further, the ground beneath their feet began to shimmer and glow. He glanced at Aiura, who seemed to be yelling something but it wasn’t audible. In the flash of a blinding light, the group of 4 were sucked into a cliche swirling vortex. Kusuo could never catch a break, huh?

_

Kusuo woke up with a loud pop. He looked around, and they seemed to be in Japan still, looking like they were at a different school rather than their own. Kusuo wasn’t hurt, and he was able to effortlessly get up, unlike Toritsuka and Aiura, who had managed to both faceplant into the dirt. Teruhashi somehow landed like a runaway model.

“Hey, are you okay!?” A green-haired boy ran to them, as three other people, around the same age followed him.

“Where… are we?” Aiura glanced at the four teens, who seemed to be their age and attending the school they were currently at. “Oh, we must be in another universe! How could I have not guessed that!? Look at these people— they have such strong auras!!” She pointed to the multiple students around her. One had a spiky, orange aura with faint explosions, and the red-haired one beside him had an aura similar to Hairo’s.

The green-haired boy blinked in confusion. “Um, excuse me, are you all okay? You fell from the sky! Do any of you have concussions? You seem to be talking nonsense, unless, seeing auras is your quirk! That must be so cool, what does mine look like? I wonder what Kacchan’s or Uraraka’s aura looks like… Kacchan’s must be something extreme, or…”

Toritsuka and Aiura had both the same reaction and thought at the same time. ‘He’s like Akechi…’

Kusuo quickly realized the dynamics of this universe, and where they were. ‘Aiura is right. In this universe, powers are normal and called quirks. Act like you belong, I will figure something out.’ He told his 3 friends telepathically.

Before anyone could get through to the greenette, who’s name seemed to be Midoriya based on his friends’ attempt at snapping him out of his muttering, a spiky-haired blonde boy appeared. “Hey, Deku, who are these extras??”

“Extras!?” Toritsuka shrieked. “You know, I’m a powerful medium!”

The aggressive blonde raised an eyebrow. “Medium? Is that your quirk?”

“Quirk?? What’s that?” Aiura asked, before quickly realizing what Kusuo had just told them and started to panic “I mean, yes! That’s his quirk! Pretty lame, isn’t it? I can predict the future and read auras!”

“I didn’t ask you.” He stated, with a glare on his face. That almost made Kusuo laugh. “What are you talking about!? Yes you did, you asshole!”

“Haah!? Who are you calling an asshole!? Are you even U.A. students!? What are you doing on the school property!? Do you know who I am!?”

The group watched as the two screamed at each other. Kusuo knew Aiura wouldn’t take that insult, right to her face.

“Bakugo! Stop it!” Someone with similar spiky hair said as he tried to pull the blonde away from Aiura.

Kusuo watched as Midoriya and the passionate red-haired boy attempt to separate the two, then Teruhashi spoke up.

“Oh, what an… intense atmosphere. Surely, we can settle this misunderstanding peacefully, don’t you think?” Teruhashi said, her beauty radiating like sunlight, drawing all eyes to her presence. She tilted her head just enough for the wind to perfectly move her hair away from her face. ‘Don’t worry, Saiki, I’ll handle this. I bet that even in this world, they can’t resist me’ She thought to him, internally smirking. When she first found out about his powers, there were many failed attempts at hiding her thoughts, but eventually she just accepted it.

Everyone, including the angry blonde setting off explosions, froze. Kusuo sighed. A long series of “Oh, wow”s were heard from everyone around them.

Aiura chuckled, sensing the chaotic energy in the air. “Looks like she’s got her own kind of quirk here. More powerful than about half the people we’ve seen so far.” She whispered to him

Kusuo didn’t reply, but she was indeed correct. He noticed how everyone was behaving differently, exactly as they did in his world. He stared at Bakugo, who looked like he was about to kill someone just out of sheer frustration from not being able to form a coherent insult.

Midoriya’s face turned beet red, and he stammered “Uh, y-yes! That’s a great idea! W-we can talk this out!”

The brown-haired girl with the pink cheeks cringed in slight jealousy at his reaction, but also blushed a little and blinked in awe. “Wow… You’re stunning. Are you a model or something?”

Even the boy with split colored hair, who hadn’t had any reaction this entire time, found himself staring. “She’s…different.” He muttered under his breath

Bakugo’s glare faltered. He opened his mouth to yell something, but quickly closed it. His hands twitched, unable to stop starring at the girl.

“U-Um, shall we introduce ourselves and take you to the principal to sort this out? My name is Tenya Iida!” The blue-haired boy with glasses exclaimed, being the first to get out of her trance.

“Katsuki Bakugo.” Bakugo mumbled, the quietest anyone has ever heard him since they had met him.

‘I’ve never seen Kacchan this shy before, I wonder what he’s thinking. This girl is very beautiful, but I’ve never seen him react like this. He hasn’t really talked to me since we fought All Might, I get why but…’ As Kusuo heard Izuku's fast-paced thoughts, he was grateful that he had brought his telepathy-blocking ring with him, just in case. He didn’t know if they had this material in this universe. “O-Oh! My name is Izuku Midoriya!”

The rest of the group around them started to introduce themselves, and they attracted more and more people.

Kusuo sighed, again. This was going to be unbearable.

Chapter 2: Getting Settled

Chapter Text

“So, let me get this straight… You four are from another dimension, where quirks aren’t normal, and you don’t know how to get back?” Aizawa confirmed, annoyed.

Kusuo was annoyed as well. During their talk with the principal, who then decided to go home after giving orders to what seemed to be a homeless man for a teacher, he decided to just tell the truth— because he knew these idiots wouldn’t be able to keep it a secret and cave right away.

Something else also worried him. He couldn’t find a way to get back to his universe. When he would try to teleport back to his house, he wasn’t able to and when he would use clairvoyance to try and look for anyone familiar, he would see nothing. It seems as if they didn’t exist in this universe. And it makes sense, they are in another dimension. Kusuo couldn’t help but think about his parents, and the rest of them. No one except his close circle would really mourn his sudden disappearance, especially with Teruhashi’s outshining his. He wondered what would happen when they got back to their universe. Or even, if they got back.

“Trespassers of these grounds are usually arrested on the spot, and in normal circumstances we would have assumed you all were crazy. Luckily for you, we had Detective Tsukauchi nearby the school. With his lie detector quirk, we able to confirm you weren’t lying and we couldn’t find any of your names or faces in the system.”

Aizawa continued, “Principal Nezu said you may stay with U.A. and study here if you’d like to, since you all have worthy quirks. You will be staying in the spare rooms that U.A. provides for temporary guests. Things like this happen more than you think. You will have two rooms, one for Saiki and Toritsuka, and one for Aiura and Teruhashi. Since you are under my care, you have a week to settle before I bring you along with my class to summer camp. You can be introduced to the rest of them there.”

Teruhashi listened intently, while Toritsuka and Aiura started to get a little more distracted, watching Bakugo and Midoriya argue as their respective friends tried to pull them apart. Or rather, stop Bakugo from attacking him.

“Bakugo, Midoriya, you two lead them to their rooms.” Aizawa ordered, “The rest of you may go.” Kirishima, Uraraka, Todoroki, Iida, and Kaminari and Mineta, who had managed to tag along, said their goodbyes and left.

“Haah!? Why me!?” Bakugo’s head snapped away from Midoriya and towards Aizawa, with a very… expressive face.

“Midoriya knows his way around U.A. He needs company to go with him. That is not a request.”

Bakugo grumbled in response, but more or less muttered a “Yes, sensei.”

_

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a golden hue over U.A. High School and the 6 students walking to a place nearby.

“Alright you extras, follow me! Don’t slow me down!” Bakugo barked, striding ahead with his usual explosive energy. It seems Teruhashi’s effect didn’t last very long on him, unlike on Midoriya, who was nervously glancing at her every 5 seconds and still a shade of red that Kusuo couldn’t place.

Midoriya gave a warm smile to his new companions. “So, uh, what are your guys’ quirks? I mean, not quirks, but whatever you call them! It seems like you all have some. I don’t mean to assume…!”

This boy was a nervous reck. Almost like Kaidou, friendly but awkward and weirdly scared of people at the same time. Although, the two were very different. All Kaidou had was a pretty controlling mother and a bad case of 8th grade delusion, but just by reading a few of Midoriya’s thoughts and memories Kusuo could tell he had been through a lot. Mostly coming from the other boy, the one screaming orders back and forth. He wouldn’t interfere, it was none of his business anyway and Bakugo himself had some of his own issues and deep insecurities that were a little too mature for his own comedy anime.

“What about you, Kusuo? Are you planning on joining any of the training?” He blinked. It seems like he had missed out a whole conversation. It seems they were talking about the training that heroes undergo. It would seem fun, an entertaining and creative way to test his powers. Why is Aiura trying to include him in the conversation?

He shook his head and told them telepathically ‘I’m not here to be a hero. I’ve got other things to focus on’ His words were sharp, causing awkward silence. Oops.

Midoriya chuckled nervously, trying to ease the tension that seemed to surround their group. “Don’t worry, Saiki. You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. Everyone here is nice, and we all help each other out. He grinned “Besides, there’s always something interesting happening at U.A.!”

Bakugo huffed, rolling his eyes. “I don’t know what you mean by interesting, Deku. But if it means having to babysit a bunch of weirdos from another dimension, count me out.”

“Hey, Kacchan! They’re not weird!” Midoriya frowned, worrying that he would make them feel bad

Kusuo gave a small smirk that you could barely see. ‘You don’t have to protect me, Midoriya. I don’t need the reassurance.’

Bakugo scowled at that comment, looking over his shoulder. “Just don’t get in my way, got it?”

He wouldn’t interfere with whatever was going on between Midoriya and Bakugo, but if it reaches Kusuo, someone would have to put him in his place.

Teruhashi flicked her hair dramatically. “We won’t, don’t worry.” She said with a playful smile as Kusuo internally rolled his eyes, knowing what she was doing. “How can we get in your way? I do think you’re a bit more above us all, anyway…”

Aiura couldn’t hide her smirk as she watched Bakugo go red and barely mutter out a flustered “Whatever…” and Midoriya stared at him, not very quietly observing his reaction

Kusuo wondered to how much of an extent Teruhashi’s abilities could go. How far she could manipulate to get what she wants. She’s smart, he’ll give her that. She was able to read both Bakugo and Midoriya, very complex people and figure out their dynamics.

As they finally arrived at the place they would be staying at for a while, the four wondered about what they would do while in this world.

thank you for reading!! sorry it’s such a short chapter haha, the next one will be longer!!

Chapter 3: A Strange Encounter and Introductions

Chapter Text

This was a perfect opportunity for Kusuo. Toritsuka had went out to go and try to meet girls after judging him for reading all day. He put his telepathy blocking ring on and started enjoying his own little world of books, movies and peace, with no one to bother him—

“Saiki!! I locked myself out!! Let me in!!”

Great.

‘I thought you had left.’ Kusuo said, annoyed and uninterested in his shenanigans.

“I just told you! I locked myself out, and also I’m failing with these girls! This universe sucks!” Toritsuka dramatically wailed.

‘What do you want.’

“Midoriya and Uraraka invited us to the mall! It’s going to be a blast!” He exclaimed, like a child

Kusuo stared at him. He wasn’t in the mood for an outing, especially not with new people. But he knew that once Toritsuka set his mind on something, there was no escaping it. Besides, it’s not like he had anything better to do. It’s just the mall, it won’t be that bad.

“Cmon, Kusuo, pleeaaase?” Aiura begged. When did she get here?

“It’ll be fun, Saiki! We get to meet the rest of Midoriya’s class!”

‘Fine. I’m doing anything ridiculous. I’m keeping my ring on. Don’t do anything stupid.’

The three ignored him and cheered at their victory.

__

Most of the class was already gathered, and they were waiting at the entrance of the mall when they arrived. Midoriya waved enthusiastically when he spotted them. “Hey! Glad you could make it!”

Kusuo gave a brief nod as Midoriya proceeded to introduce them to the rest of the class. He proceeded to turn around and sit down on a nearby seat, ignoring all of the “Oh, wow”s coming from the class as Teruhashi introduced herself.

After the class had settled down, talking to them and mostly Teruhashi for a good 20 minutes, they split into groups and Kusuo watched in the distance as Uraraka ran away from Midoriya, screaming something about bug spray.

Kusuo followed the 3 only P.K. Academy students in this universe around the mall, until he noticed that Aiura had a worried look on her face. She stared at him, as if trying to talk to him through her thoughts. He pointed at the ring on his finger, showing that he couldn’t hear her.

“Oh! Um, Kusuo, I have an unsettling feeling, like something bad will happen. Can you look around, and make sure?” She whispered to him, in which he responded by nodding. If anyone else asked him that, he wouldn’t want to, but he knows Aiura’s gut feelings and predictions are the real deal.

He took his ring off and quickly scanned the mall with his telepathy. Everything seemed normal, until…

His eyes widened and he teleported right away, without explaining to any of them why. He stared at Tomura Shigaraki as he had his hands on Midoriya’s neck. He had heard of him before, in the thoughts of the students and the teachers. Seeing sketches of him along with others on the news. How he and his team had attacked them, and almost killed many of their teachers. The image of Aizawa’s broken arms and bloody head made his own problems look like a walk in the park. These students go through a lot.

“S-Saiki…” Midoriya looked at him, his eyes in panic.

“Oh? Is this your friend?” Shigaraki smirked, unbothered.

‘No, no no… With this many people and Saiki around, I can’t say anything! He needs to run, I have to find out…’

‘Maybe I’ll kill this pink haired bastard, too.’

Kusuo glared at him. ‘I wouldn’t try anything if I were you.’ He told Shigaraki. He wouldn’t interfere with this world, but when someone involves him it goes too far. Midoriya had been extra nice to Kusuo since he’d gotten here. He would never admit it out loud, but those were the type of people he liked to be around. Honest and genuinely friendly people. He seemed to attract lots of types of people, but out of all of them those types were his favorite.

How could he get Midoriya out of this without Shigaraki killing him? He can’t turn him into stone, because that would attract attention and also turn Midoriya or others around them into stone. He can’t quickly teleport him, either, because Shigaraki is in contact with him, meaning it would teleport him as well. What a boring world, where people play heroes and villains like they’re in some child’s imagination.

Before Kusuo could act on anything, Shigaraki quickly raised his hands up and smiled, before walking away and disappearing into the crowd. He could easily find him, but right now he focused on the coughing Midoriya.

“Deku! Are you alright!? Who was that?” Uraraka ran to him, behind her were the rest of the PK-Psychickers and Teruhashi.

“Was that guy going to kill you!? I heard about villains while watching TV here, I didn’t think they were real!” Toritsuka loudly exclaimed, as if he was the hostage as Aiura was quietly observing the situation

Kusuo sighed as he heard a bunch of “Oh, wow”s following them, attracting attention to what was happening right now. ‘Let’s go to the police. Teruhashi is attracting people.’

They all agreed, and he followed the group to the nearest police station.

__

‘I didn’t want to go, and look what happened.’ Kusuo glared at the three. Aiura and Toritsuka were on the floor kneeling in shame, and Teruhashi was sitting down on the bed. ‘Some innocent boy almost got killed, and I had to spend an hour and a half describing and explaining to detectives as a witness.’

“Saiki, why didn’t you stop the villain?” Teruhashi asked him “You could have easily done it.”

‘It wasn’t that simple, if I had done anything, it would have attracted the crowd and risked getting Midoriya killed.’

Teruhashi seemed slightly convinced on the outside, but a few intrusive thoughts of ‘Then why didn’t he follow or catch him afterwards? Seems a bit selfish’ followed by apologies immediately after said otherwise.

She was right, but Kusuo didn’t want to become a hero or be involved. He just wanted to be left alone, but obviously that isn’t going to happen. He was just going to let things run their course with as little involvement as possible.

Their conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door. Kusuo sighed. Great, more people who are looking to be friends

Teruhashi opened the door, greeted by four “Oh, wow”s from four people. Or looked like three people, observing that one of them wasn’t visible. But Kusuo could still hear her thoughts, so she was basically there.

“Hey! I didn’t get to fully introduce myself, so Midoriya told us where you were and we dropped by to say hi!” A pink skinned and pink haired girl excitedly said, resembling a more energetic Aiura. “My name is Mina Ashido! Nice to meet you!”

Good grief. Kusuo internally rolled his eyes. Why couldn’t they just do this at that summer camp? Or never-

Kusuo’s thoughts were interrupted by a tall boy holding a cake, “I baked this once I heard there would be new people our age visiting for a while. Take it as a welcome gift!” Kusuo hurriedly ran to the door, accepting the cake and smiling warmly, saying ‘Thank you’ telepathically

‘I didn’t think he would be this excited over a cake… Isn’t this the pink-haired one Midoriya said was kind of cold?’

Midoriya stared at Kusuo. Great, here comes the thought train. ‘Wow, I didn’t know Saiki had a soft spot for sweets, or is it baked goods? Maybe both! I’ll keep this in mind so we can be good friends soon.’

After saying their goodbyes and thanks, Kusuo sat on the table and enjoyed the very delicious dessert before internally groaning as he sensed Aizawa approaching their door. This time, he got up to answer it.

“Hello, Saiki. I will need to register your names in the system, since we don’t know how long you all are going to be here. Here are four phones provided by U.A., which you may keep until we find a way to get back to your dimension, and my number. You all seem to have your own quirks, so please text me your names, title and description of your quirks as soon as possible. Don’t spare any details.” Aizawa handed him four phones and a sheet of paper, and left. Now this was someone Kusuo could relate to. All he wanted to do was sleep and be left alone. He closed the door and explained to the curious 3 on who it was and what they needed.

“Saiki, will you tell them about all your abilities, or will you only choose one?” Teruhashi asked. ‘We already know my power! Just by…’ As Kusuo heard her internal dialogue start and began to tune it out, he thought about what he would say. He didn’t want to tell them all of his abilities, because they will continuously ask him to look for villains and he will be expected to fight, and before he knows it, he’ll be dragged into becoming a hero. He would pass on that.

“I’m so tired!! I don’t want to do this!!” Toritsuka dramatically fell to the floor as Aiura agreed and followed

‘I’ll do it for you all. Just go to sleep.’ Kusuo told them. The girls didn’t hesitate to go back to their room and fall sound asleep. He was only doing this so that he could finish the cake while they were asleep. Not because he wanted them to rest the next few days before they travel to U.A.’s summer camp.

After thinking, Kusuo had decided on teleportation. He can teleport anywhere every three minutes, bringing along anyone he’s in physical contact with. Without his limiter, he can teleport without a cooldown, but he wasn’t going to put that as it would just cause confusion as to why he wears it.

He thought of names for the rest of his friends’ powers and what they would like, just so that they wouldn’t pester him about changing it later on. He began to type them out, and pressed send.

You:

Kusuo Saiki

Quirk: Teleportation
He has the ability to quickly teleport anywhere every three minutes. He can also teleport anyone with him, as long as he’s in physical contact with them.

Mikoto Aiura
Quirk: Fortune Teller
She has the ability of a fortune teller, all of her predictions accurate. However, if she uses her powers to gain something, something bad will happen to balance the scale.

Aura reading: She is able to see and read peoples’ auras, which determines the potential, personality and future of the person. The presence of a larger aura can block the view of a smaller one behind it.

Fortune Telling: She is able to predict information about a person’s life. She is able to do this through her crystal ball, but if she does not have it she can come up with a random ritual that will answer her question

Crystal Map: She can use her crystal ball to find anyone or anything, where their location shows up on a map.

Premonition: The ability to anticipate something.

Death Mark Vision: When looking at someone’s face, she is able to see if they have a death mark or not. A death mark does not necessarily mean the holder will die if they have it, but it causes an extreme series of bad luck. The darker the death mark, the more likely the dying becomes.

Reita Toritsuka
Quirk: Medium
He has the ability to see and communicate with spirits. He can also see someone’s guardian spirit and summon a spirit into his own body.

Kokomi Teruhashi
Quirk: Angel
Her overpowering and angelic beauty can influence and stun people. This ability manifests an irresistible charm that affects anyone who lays eyes on her.

Kusuo looked at his phone, and there was an immediate reply.

Aizawa: Thanks. We won’t be enrolling you in U.A., but keep in mind that you will be treated like a student as you’re under our care.

Chapter 4: Observations

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Kusuo adjusted his glasses. How did he get here? On this noisy bus full of noisy people who showed a very similar resemblance to the noisy people from his universe. Thoughts crowded him, along with talking. It gave him a headache. Toritsuka was a few seats behind him, seeming to have left him alone to talk to another purple-haired pervert. Aiura and Teruhashi were sitting with the girls, talking about something Kusuo wasn’t interested in.

Him sitting behind Midoriya wasn’t a walk in the park either. Even without the boy talking to him, Kusuo could hear his fast-paced thoughts that were almost like a familiar talkative blonde he knew. Although, he could still make sense of them, unlike Akechi’s, where he would be thinking multiple thoughts at the same time. He sighed as he felt a headache began to form. All the yelling and thoughts of multiple people in such a crowded space weren’t helping at all.

Kusuo avoided putting on his telepathy blocking ring since the mall incident, where Midoriya had almost gotten killed. Kusuo decided that he would just deal with the headache, as it was worth it instead of having the risk of him not being able to predict a villain attack.

“ZERO PERCENT!?!?” Kusuo heard Uraraka scream. He guessed she was seeing the compatibility between her and the boy she likes.

“Sorry, Ocha. This usually happens when one isn’t interested in the gender of the person. Otherwise, it would be around one to five percent.” Aiura explained, holding her crystal ball

Kusuo thought that was a little weird. Uraraka and Midoriya seemed to have been a perfect match, and it was very obvious that they both liked each other. He could tell through the love meter.

“So, Saiki,” Kusuo’s attention was diverted to Kirishima on his right, who had began to ask him a question “You’re pretty manly for someone who doesn’t talk much. Ever think of becoming a hero?”

Kusuo blinked. Manly? Is this guy for real? He shook his head.

“Why not? You know, teleportation is a really useful quirk!” Kirishima exclaimed

He stared at the seat in front of him, his expression unreadable and shrugged.

“He doesn’t want to talk to you, shithead.” Bakugo bluntly said, seeming to have hurt his friend’s feelings.

“Come on, Kacchan! Don’t be like that!” Midoriya said, trying to clear out the awkward silence.

“SHUT IT, DEKU! Who asked you, you loser??”

Kusuo watched as the two argued, hoping for some kind of distraction that would allow him to get ejected from this conversation. Luckily, the bus stopped, and Aizawa had them all go out for a “bathroom break.” Kusuo knew what their plan was, though. He wasn’t looking forward to it.

“You four, come with me. Since you all aren’t students, you don’t have to do the training.” Aizawa looked at Kusuo, “Especially you. I don’t want you teleporting them.”

Jeez, talk about being treated like a student. Kusuo walked to the bus along with the other 3, and noticed how the little boy— Kota, kept staring at him.

From the front of the bus, Shota watched Saiki with narrowed eyes. He noticed the pink-haired teenager’s quiet way to handle chaos, as if he was used to it. He noticed his little snarky but clever comebacks, and how he would only say them if there was an insult towards him. He also noticed how he quietly observed and looked after his companions, yet acted like he didn’t care.

Mandalay also glanced at Saiki, then at Shota. “What do you think of him?” She asked him. He had told the Pussycats that the 4 teens would be accompanying them, as it’s not everyday that people from other dimensions are transported here.

“He’s… unusual,” Shota admitted, “His abilities clearly exceed what he’s told me, but he avoids drawing attention to himself. Either he’s hiding something, or he just doesn’t care.”

Mandalay hummed in response, “He seems pretty laid back to me,” she said. “He obviously cares about those friends of his, though.”

Shota nodded, switching his gaze to Saiki’s friends. The green haired girl with the fortune telling quirk was playing rock paper scissors with the purple-haired medium, while the beautiful blue haired girl sat quietly, looking out the window.

They all had powerful quirks, some would be really useful. Even the medium’s, whose quirk his students had brushed off to the side as “useless.“ Shota couldn’t help but be disappointed in them. He could think of hundreds of ways that power would be useful, yet all they saw was that it would be useless in a combat situation. In a rescue situation, however, he would be able to ask and locate multiple people. Have ghosts check under fallen buildings for injured people. Ask them if they know where villain hideouts are. It doesn’t seem like he cares about saving people that much, though. The way he reacted to the girls asking him questions reminded him of Mineta— He wondered what attention he didn’t get as a child to crave this much female validation.

Aiura’s, the fortune teller’s, would also be useful in predicting villain attacks and disasters. He noted that while she used it for useless reasons like finding out others’ soulmates, she was also more smart than people were catching on. Reading their statements from the mall incident, she didn’t hesitate to tell Saiki about her bad feeling. She likes to use her abilities to help others, not only to save them when in danger, but with little things like peoples’ love lives. If she wanted to, she would be a great hero, excellent at cheering people up and distracting them from disaster. She reminded him of Mina. Lots of potential.

The beautiful one, Teruhashi, was also very smart. Even though Shota was able to see through her act since the start, he saw how hard she worked to make a perfect image, and how she had most likely been doing that all her life. He saw how she was able to wrap his students around her finger, even Bakugo. While Aiura and Toritsuka were having trouble remembering the names of everyone they had met— in fairness to them, Shota wouldn’t be able to remember either within a span of a week and multiple distractions, Teruhashi was able to memorize all of the names of the students in his class, even their hero names. He knows that girl is a genius, and much more smart than she lets on. He wonders how far it could go, if she would be able to manipulate even villains like that.

Shota sighed as the bus stopped. They were finally here. Now, all he had to do is wait until his students get back.
