Chapter Text
Purpled was doomed.
The SMP does not support inter-dimensional teleportation like Hypixel, so Purpled had always used his UFO to travel across the galactic universe to go from one server to another. His spaceship, one of a kind. It was a hassle to rebuild it after Quackity blew up his first one, but nothing he couldn't handle after facing the emotional stress.
Now, what really concerned Purpled was that the bastard had implemented a short circuit detonator bomb on his energy supply system. Judging by the design of the bomb's model; it was made not to hurt nearby designated people. But that doesn't matter.
What matters is that the bomb went off, and his UFO's system was going haywire.
Purpled sighed. He most certainly won't be able to make it to Hypixel to participate in the next Minecraft Championships. A shame really. Purpled was sure his friends would still compete well without him. Though he feels a bit bitter for not being able to see them all together at one place in so long.
He shook his head, now wasn't the time for reminiscence.
Purpled's UFO was about to crash at a server. Hopefully his UFO would still be intact upon collision, since he has no way to guarantee if said server hosted replacement parts, and no way to know what kind of server it was. Private servers do appear in the galaxy, but a person can only enter if the Admin scanned them to access said server. Like Purpled wouldn't just go to Hermitcraft and land there without verification. That's impossible. Unless its a public server.
Which Purpled assumes this is a public server. Private servers usually bounce back unauthorized personnel like some sort of trampoline with a transparent cyan-blue barrier. Purpled would know since he tried it before being whitelisted on the SMP. Though He's unable to send a distress signal to the server before him as his UFO is completely out of energy. All he can do is brace for the worst as he enters the server's atmosphere.
He feels the gravity getting stronger as his UFO increases its speed to fall downwards to the land.
Dogchamp barks loudly, Purpled slightly eases knowing his dog is worried. "It's gonna be okay." He cooed to Dogchamp tenderly.
Thankfully, his UFO has a crash-save option which does not require energy in the worst-case scenarios. Only downside is that it's a one-time thing, and the specific part needs to be disposed immediately after use. This option would render Purpled's UFO to be protected by some sort of hard, bouncy resistance borders. He doesn't know how to explain it, but it saves him from buying new mechanical parts, and in worse cases, building the parts himself.
Now, because not everything can be good in life, the duration of the save is very small. Purpled would need to know when exactly to press it.
Purpled's a pro at this. The moment he sees the slightest bit of the server's ground—he will activate it.
So he does.
The crash had caused a loud tumbling noise, and the ground had accommodated for the resistance of breakage by the UFO's system, causing the UFO to be halfway inside the mud. How great, more for Purpled to explain to the Admin of the server.
Speaking of the server, the people present sure had weird tastes of architecture.
"Noble!" Purpled heard someone say from afar. Must be British, ew. Yes, his hearing is so good that he can hear some random's voice from miles away while being covered by walls. His antennas glowed, and he refused to take a step away from his UFO. But he won't be able to gain energy supply if he didn't move an inch away.
So he gave in, and exited his UFO using the topmost trapdoor installed. Normally he'd use the designated doors instead but it was covered in dirt underground. There really wasn't much for Purpled to do about it.
When he got out of the UFO, he was confronted face to face with another British boy. Probably the one from earlier. He's starting to consider this a nightmare now. UFO crash is okay he guesses, just as long he doesn't need to rebuild the parts himself and was able to find replacements. But dealing with another British person makes him wish he wasn't here at all.
British boy looked at him in wonder and awe. Damn, now Purpled feels bad. Even though he never said anything.
Maybe he should say something. "Um. Hi?" Purpled said, awkwardly. He cringed at himself for his embarrassingly awful social skills. He'd work on it, but talking to people is a huge hassle he would rather not deal with.
The boy looked ecstatic, heading closer. Purpled backed away, cautious even if need not to be. Old habits die hard, Purpled mentally hit himself. What happens when you happened to be a child assassin, mercenary, whatever he guesses. British boy gained notice of it and halted his movement.
Now that Purpled can examine him more closely, the boy had blond hair with blue eyes, wearing some sort of brown jacket and blue jeans. Looked about ten or something, he's still going to keep his guard up in case though. It's not like kids can't be dangerous—Purpled himself is a great example that they can.
"Are you an alien?" The boy asked, tilting his head sideways slightly to indicate confusion. Purpled huffed at the question.
"Duh?" Purpled sarcastically replied. British boy seemingly brightened at the fact.
Okay whatever. He's going to ignore British boy for now, and perhaps look into some of the server's code to gain a better insight on the type of server he set into. Opening his communicator, he frowned. Ten billion people residing in this server? Really? That's probably the biggest number he's seen in the player list. But even so, if this server was so popular, how have Purpled never heard of it? Was it an error of information on his part? He was able to memorize millions of servers and its values through a glance, but this one is oddly unfamiliar.
British boy was leaving, which was a good sign.
The next problem was, that the code of this server was accessible to edit for regular players. How did this server never get destroyed? Purpled has no idea. But hey, if the Admin allowed whatever this is, then Purpled shouldn't care about it and instead use it to his advantages.
As he was going to edit the code; British boy brought some old man with him. The man jerked an eyebrow at him. Wow, okay. Purpled was a bit irritated by that but it didn't matter.
"Son, are you sure you've seen right? That this gentleman is an alien?" The old man, wearing a police officer suit said. Great, they're related. Purpled thought.
British boy nodded uncontrollably, extremely hyper. "Yes dad! I saw his UFO crash from the sky at a terrific speed!"
The old man sighed, now looking over to Purpled.
Well shit.
Purpled's antennas light dimmed and luminated over and over again like a flickering light bulb. His eyes narrowed, watching for any hostile movements just in case. When will these random people leave him alone? Now he really regrets telling the kid what he was. He has to remove a part from his UFO, and his UFO is like his baby. He doesn't want anyone to see its functions, it's meant to be complicated so outsiders can't break in. Which is why random strangers seeing how Purpled operates his UFO makes him a little queasy. And Dogchamp is inside, who knows what people will do.
"Good evening, I am Charlie Burns." The old man, Charlie said.
Purpled couldn't really care less. All he wants is for both of them to leave. "Right.. Could you two like, leave for a sec? Come back later or whatever but I really need you both to leave right now." Purpled said, monotonously. British boy seemingly looked sad, while the old man nodded and left.
Judging by how his super spider senses detect no sentient beings, he begins tweaking with the code of the server by transferring his UFO to above ground and resupplying his energy stock.
The only thing that was left was to get rid of the emergency border system and replace it with another one, which he cant remove from code. So he removed it manually, and made sure to go to Hypixel's overpriced stores for an extra compound to buy, and for them to ship.
That was the only missing thing, and while he could fly out of the server without it, Purpled would rather not.
Well, it also seems like he's gonna spend most of his time adjusting his UFO and adding more systems for safety reasons.
Apparently, the server was 'Earth,' and the region was titled as 'Griffin Rock.'
Purpled definitely needs more information.
A fire truck sped towards him before stopping an inch earlier before impact. Purpled scanned the truck, cautiously examining it. He hadn't seen nor detected its presence. Which must mean that whoever was present, was either insanely skilled at avoiding detection even from the best of the best, or that Purpled let his guard down too early.
Now what truly took Purpled by surprised was that the truck transformed into some huge robot.
Purpled's sclera shifts from white to black, as his antennas illuminate the dark. If this was some sort of attack, it's fine because the code is unprotected by an Admin.
And what happens next truly was so shocking. Purpled thought with sarcasm to himself.
It was the old man from before, appearing in the flesh. How great! More for Purpled to worry about. But whatever, he thinks he can handle this. Maybe. But he needs Dogchamp.
He'd give out a fake name, but Purpled felt like that would drag him down in the future.
Punz would cry if he heard what he was going to say right now.
"Right, um. Sorry." Purpled awkwardly let out. Staring at the red robot which did a terrible job at looking robotic. "I'm Purpled, and um. British boy was right, I'm an, uh, alien." Congratulations Purpled, you made the interaction more awkward than it was! Amazing isn't it! He thought to himself.
The red giant, which was robotic seemed to be more calmer after his statement. Weird.
Old man Charlie seemed to not care, which eased him a bit? Who knows. Charlie nodded. "I can see that. Well, Purpled. Why did you come here?"
Purpled scoffed. "Why else, other than every other alien? My UFO crashed—fucking Quackity placed a bomb on my energy supply for your information." Woah, he gave more information. But whatever. Quackity deserved it. Speaking of the bomb, Dogchamp could've seriously gotten hurt. Charlie seemed to be shocked at the reveal. Purpled huffed, "Don't worry, I got everything covered." Purpled said in proudness.
"Hey," The red robot spoke. Purpled raised a brow. Okay, cool. The robot could speak. A sentient robot. Cool. "If you're going to drag danger with you wherever you land on, then just leave." The bot said, his voice all intimidating and stuff.
Purpled furrowed his brows in resentment. "I don't bring trouble where I go. Quackity is just a bitch." Purpled said. He hated Quackity with all his heart; it doesn't matter if he did kill Slimecicle or not. Quackity sucked.
"Crude language, but okay." Charlie replied, Purpled had rolled his eyes.
He heard barking from afar. Dogchamp! Purpled recognizes. He immediately shots his head behind him and opens his arms to embrace Dogchamp. A show of vulnerability among these strangers, and multiple weak spots sure. But he'd rather die than let Dogchamp think he hates him. Purpled knows Dogchamp is intelligent, very much so. But he would rather not risk losing his trust.
"So what you're trying to say, is that you're stuck here?" Charlie questioned.
Not really, but kind of? It was a difficult situation to analyse and explain without the usage of galactic.
"Uhh.. Yes?" He said, half-heartedly. The red bot must be an alien too or something, since it kept staring at him. Purpled looked at it, "Do you know galactic?" He asked.
"No." The bot replied, no further conversation with it took after.
Charlie frowned, Purpled knows that look. Sam always does that when he knows he has to complete a tiring mission. "Contact Optimus Prime, Heatwaves." Old man said. Purpled perked his ears, so that's what the red's name was.
Purpled held Dogchamp close.
All he knows is that this was going to be a long, tiring stay simply from energy alone.

Heatwave frowned. "Optimus Prime, come in." Heatwave's repeated, dissatisfied with the entirety of the situation.
The day seemed to be one in a millennia, as Optimus Prime finally answered the rescue bot's calls just after one intermission.
The screen flickered, soon to show the live video of Optimus Prime on transmission. "Yes, Heatwave." Optimus chimed in, Heatwave's gloomy expression solidified to neutral as he saluted for a brief moment.
"Optimus. We have acquired a new anomaly—one that crashed into earth. Awaiting orders, sir." Chase said, Optimus raised an eyebrow slightly.
Optimus looked around. "I see. I assume this anomaly is present with you?" He inquired.
Boulder nodded, "Yes." Said Boulder happily.
Purpled awkwardly shifted in front of the bots to face the screen of Optimus. "Um," He breathed out, "Hi." Purpled said, ruffling his dog's fur as a form of relief.
Optimus's eyes slightly widened, his gaze focused on Purpled. "I see." He said, and Purpled feels like this will end up terribly. "This could be a learning opportunity, for both us, the autoboots and the humans alike." Optimus said, voice stern. The rest present inside the room, continued to stay silent.
Heatwave stood front, "What do we do about this.. anomaly?" Heatwave's asked, seemingly irritated at Purpled, which Dogchamp barked back at. Purpled vigorously pet Dogchamp's fur. He is such a good owner. And Dogchamp is a very good dog, plus he knows how to kill! How great is that? Purpled thought fondly.
The current people present at the room were four bots, a screen transmitting to Optimus, and the old man with his son. Including Purpled and Dogchamp.
"Learn and cooperate with the new appearance." Optimus instructed, before looking down towards Purpled. "I advise you to accept our proposal, too." Purpled sweated. These robots were too big to fight fairly, and they work differently than regular sized people. Which meant different blind spots, and it left him at a disadvantage.
But hey, if Purpled was going to have to accept a proposal no matter if he had a choice or not, it's better to make use of it, right?
"On one condition." Purpled replied. Old man raised an eyebrow, whereas the rest of the four bots demeanor changed. Optimus on the other hand—seemed to look interested. His gaze screaming 'go on.' "I want to study your biology." Purpled said. Normally, he already would have most hybrids biology memorized for his work, whether that be by intellect or muscle memory.
These hybrids were nothing had he seen before. Information was vital. What if one of them attacked him? Then he'd be completely at their mercy, and the mere thought made him recoil. Truly disgusting.
Optimus was slightly surprised, or at least Purpled thought he was. "That can be arranged." Was all he said. Purpled shrugged. He'd also need to learn the geography and maybe the history of this world he set foot on too within the nearest library. "And Autobots, good luck." Optimus said before he buzzed out.
Heatwave's let out a long sigh. "You heard him." He directed to Purpled.
Purpled raised an eyebrow. Whatever. Old man seemed to walk towards Purpled, probably to say something to him. Purpled desperately wanted to leave.
"What's your planet like? What were you doing before you came here? Is your dog an alien dog too?" The British boy pestered him. Old man held out an arm and rested it on British boy's shoulders, who's facial expression calmed down. "Right, sorry. My name is Cody! What's yours?" He said, ecstatically.
Heatwave's glared at Purpled. "Be careful Cody, we don't know how dangerous this guy is."
Okay, rude. Purpled thought. Chase raised a finger, "As the rest of the Burns family is still asleep, I believe we should save questions for later."
The old man nodded, "Good call Chase."
Purpled made a weird judging face, these bots had strange names. Okay sure, he might be introducing himself with the name Purpled, but that's only because he prefers his username over his actual one! Two totally and completely different things.
And so Purpled was banished to his UFO, okay that was an exaggeration. But the UFO was next to the Old man's house. He also sent the annoying red bot to watch over him.
A few seconds passed, and while the social stress was over, Purpled was bored.
He can't go out to explore because this stinky robot is following him. And if he slips past the robot, then they would hold Dogchamp and the UFO hostage. Don't even start with the 'Purpled why don't you just use the UFO to get out?' Because it's not that simple, the risk of crashing is far too great despite the full energy supply, the emergency counter option included devices which reduce the risk of crashing, and reduces the impact of the overall crash and damage for the user.
So to say; if Purpled crashed again which is a high chance, he would see Prime. Or XD as some call it.
Why didn't he address that sooner? Because it's funny to not give a proper explanation of foreign mechanics that normal people will never understand.
The night went by as uneventful, Purpled on his high guard and not sleeping a wink. Can you blame him though, it's his first time here! And he was surrounded and had surveillance watching over him like some random wanted fugitive!
Purpled's work may also be a bit dirty, killing people and all. But it's legal because he had earned Hypixel's diploma, Punz pulled some strings or something to make sure they didn't go to jail like ever, but it still was legal.
Morning came, Purpled hated the sheer rise in brightness. It was like using Hypixel's limited edition communicator at three in the morning.
Just like those ominous movies, somebody knocked on the main entrance of his UFO. The person was none other than Charlie.
And so they went to the giant basement of the house. The house was big enough to be some sort of map for a non-pvp Hypixel game or something.
"Woah, woah, woah." Red haired guy spoke, and man is Purpled getting irritated by looking at that guy's face. He looked overconfident like Quackity and it bugged him out, ew. "So a random alien crashed next to our house, and you didn't bother to wake me up?" Red haired guy said, astounded. Something tells Purpled that the guy is missing a few braincells.
"Well.. considering that he doesn't look like an Autobot, I'm interested to know where he came from previously." A brown haired man said.
The woman present huffed, "So Cody found this guy?" She said, looking towards Purpled. Curse social anxiety.
"Yes, but he might be feeling overwhelmed. We should introduce ourselves first, as he'll be staying with us until Optimus visits us to check into him personally." Old man said, tiredly.
"Aw, c'mon. Really? Why?" The red haired guy whined. Purpled's eyes twitched. It wasn't like he wanted to be here either. He can't just kill them right now and run away because he has to alibi, and if another otherworldly anomaly sees him and deduces what he'd done, then Purpled would be done for.
Everyone had ignored the red hair's question. British boy Cody popped up right in front of Purpled.
"Well, you know my name, it's Cody!" British boy said, not giving the other people time to introduce themselves as he pointed to the red haired guy. "That is Kade," Cody said, pointing at the respective players before introducing their names. "She's Dani, and He's Graham! And there's my dad."
Purpled awkwardly nodded, he felt so out of place. Heatwave's sighed. "Heatwaves. That's, Boulder and Chase. Blades is outside."
Now they were waiting for Purpled to introduce himself. He can already feel the social anxiety seeping in to his chest. "Purpled." He took a long inhale, "The name's Purpled."
Kade scoffed, "What kind of name is that?" Dani elbowed him.
"That's rude Kade. Besides, he's from another planet entirely. Their naming system could be different from ours. Like the bots!" Dani said, furrowing her eyebrows while emphasizing happily her voice on the last sentence told about the bots.
Cody nodded, "Yeah! What's your planet like?"
Dani nodded, "Dad, I'll take my leave here. Blades and I have a really important thing to do right now." She said before heading out of the room. Graham looked over and spoke in continuation.
"Yeah me too. I'll be in my room, but I really want to study these of which Purpled dropped." Graham said, holding a jar of purple mist which apparently Purpled dropped. The chief nodded in acceptance, Graham has immediately left after the sign. The rude red haired guy—Kade had immediately followed after. Perhaps to be a big back and eat everything in their kitchen considering on the amount of stomach fat Purpled seen.
Purpled slightly cringed. This server was so weird he was beginning to think that he stepped foot to a different dimension or something. They had a ridiculous amount of players online, weird mods installed, with the Admin seemingly to be slacking off or something. Purpled would've rather crashed his UFO at The Hive.
Plus, how did that guy even collect the mist of venom? Thought Purpled.
As Cody was about to say something, with Heatwave glaring looks into Purpled. He spoke, tad a bit reluctant. "It's.. far different compared to what you all have here." Purpled coughed, wincing.
British boy's eyes gleamed in delight at the answer, "Noble! How was it?"
While haven no response given by Purpled, Cody was slightly dejected but he could understand. Adjusting is hard, especially on a place you don't know.
Boulder seemed pleased with the response, Blades was elsewhere while assisting Dani so his whining had not been heard yet. "Say, what planet did you come from?" Boulder said ecstatically.
Purpled took a few moments to himself, before saying. "Hypixel." He said. These people should know what Hypixel was, since people flock left and right to get a ticket to enter the server. Even more so to participate on it.
Unfortunately his response had gathered all the bots attention. And right before British boy could ask what it was without any filter as the old man had left to go somewhere with the blue bot Chase or whatever its name was. Purpled regretted it immediately.
Heatwave, seemed to be unusually surprised. "Hypixel?" He asked for a second time. Was it because of Hypixel's history? Were they outdated on information? Whatever. Purpled nodded in response to the question.
Which led to Boulder instantly switching demeanor.
Cody was as confused as Purpled, though for a different reason.
Purpled immediately guessed what they were going to ask. If he was a slave for that server. They must really be stuck in the past, as Hypixel abandoned that system since he was six or something due to political backlash. He'd have to go in depth of it later.
"No, they have abandoned usage slavery a decade ago. You guys need seriously need to update your history of worlds." Purpled said, the abrupt topic shocked Cody, but not the bots. Who were slightly surprised at the shift of system. "But we still do hold competitions and events. Just differently, and better." He added.
Heatwave sighed. "Still,"
And Purpled saw the question coming once a again without them continuing to say it. So without further ado, he cut Heatwave's off and answered immediately. "I used to be until the rules were demolished." Purpled said.
Thankfully, there were no other annoying questions other than those from British boy.
"What's Hypixel? You guys seem to know about it too." Cody asked.
Purpled sighed. He knew he had to take the initiative to explain to this unaware kid, as the two don't retain recent events.
"It's the world where I hail from. It's actually a pretty popular place, people from different worlds flock to go there. They usually hold special events for participation, or games to watch where different famous figures worldwide participate in. It's usually very crowded, but not everyone can get in." Purpled explained, trying his best to make British boy understand. Why? That was a good question. Purpled doesn't understand why. Perhaps, without Punz, he had grown too attached to a random kid that annoyed him for quite some time.
Yes, not everyone can enter Hypixel either. They must be a premium player, as cracked players are not allowed to enter by server regulations. Purpled doesn't know how to explain that to a player who never heard the terms like they were in the stone ages of development, so he purposely left those parts out while indirectly putting them in.
"Noble!" Cody said.
Seriously, Purpled thought. This kid was obsessed with that particular word, and had said it probably like over five times since the last second.
"Do you think I could go there some time? Compared to your guys worlds, earth sounds pretty boring now." Cody proclaimed, Purpled scoffed.
Heatwave's shook his head. "No."
Cody was dejected, Purpled sighed. The sight had caused his heart to ache. Purpled wonders why. Is he dying early? That isn't good.
Heatwave's seemed to also take note of Cody's feeling of sadness, and instantly commented on it. "Maybe after we fix this guy's UFO. Otherwise, you aren't going anywhere yet Cody."
That response seemed to bring the British boy to lighten up. Purpled felt the need to ruffle his hair. But refrained from doing so.
The happy settlement hadn't lasted for long, as the entire building flickered red. An alarm, but for what? Burglars?
"Listen up team," That was the old man's voice! "We have an emergency, team." Purpled wondered what this was going to be. "There has been a severe fire on the forest, we need everybody on line. Now."
Purpled stared at the screen on which the message was replayed. The situation seemed a lot to handle.
Nevertheless, the bots seemed to transform into those mods where they attach cars through code. "I'm coming with." Said Purpled the moment he saw Cody jump to the backseat of the firetruck.
They dispatched to the forest, searching for the fire. Since the forest was quite huge, it was easy to spot where the fire had affected the trees. What wasn't easy to do was finding the others within the forest. Despite instructions given by the old man himself when asked through the communication link they wielded.
However, they had finally caught sight of them and immediately rushed towards.
Purpled dozed off the ride and wonder what it'd be like if he hadn't crashed here. He wants to get out quickly. But parts hadn't shipped yet, and won't for at least another three days.
He was still dozing off as he was outside, fire extinguished and whereas everyone was busy evacuating the remaining people on the forest for safety. He was too busy staring at practically nothing.
Until he had witnessed something extremely strange within the premise.
There was a purple, Nether-like portal on the sky, except it wasn't a Nether portal, but one without the obsidian at the head of the trees. Purpled frowned.
What was that?
He had asked himself. Was it similar to the Aether mod? But how?
Did Quackity find a shortcut to hunt him down? Shit.
Purpled got anxious, too much. It clouded his sense of thinking; that wasn't good. He'd need to snap out of it and fast. Luckily, that's exactly what happened.
A hand had entered through the portal.
The bots didn't seem to take it too lightly either the moment it got noticed. Purpled felt his stomach curl up to a ball, and certainly wasn't feeling very well. He hated Quackity to the core.
A sequence of laughs could be heard from the other side of the portal, the bots and humans around Purpled were saying something to him, but he was too focused on the scenario before him to pay attention on anything else that he deemed unimportant or out of the picture.
Purpled's eyes widened at the display before him.
