Chapter Text
Midoriya has always been odd but what happens to him steals the icing off the cake.
Ever since the sports festival, Shinsou has been trained by Aizawa, although in some of their training Izuku Midoriya, the golden child, has joined them.
Shinsou doesn’t know why he joins as he has such an unknown quirk even to Midoriya himself, so he just lets it go. For now.
The funny thing is Midoriya doesn’t have a quirk, he got in completely due to hero points and the fact that Aizawa had recognized the fight style the child had seemed to pick up, by someone Aizawa thought was dead.
Midoriya has always been odd to Shinsou. He is always trembling, stutters, hordes things you would never think he would horde, such as his notebooks and a plushie that he keeps with him at all times, but what has his attention the most is the fact that he flinches whenever someone either walks behind him or even if a teacher calls his name. Shinsou had also noticed strange bracelets on his wrists but pays no attention to them. But what fascinates him the most is his reaction to his classmates, he’s extremely wary of them, even his friends.
Shinsou has also noticed bruises randomly appearing whenever he comes back from visiting his mother but he doesn’t want to assume anything because Midoriya always has scrapes and bruises from fighting in training.
Aizawa seems to notice the bruises on his problem child's body and has a bad feeling but for now he wont do anything. He knows Shinsou noticed them as well.
Over the next couple of weeks during the training they both notice Midoriya gain more confidence, then as soon as any other student comes near him all that confidence is gone. They notice that it mainly happens around Bakugou and that concerns Aizawa more then he thought.
After the training session, Shinsou decided to ask Midoriya what’s up between him and Bakugo. Midoriya didn’t answer for a couple of minutes. Shinsou was about to leave before Aizawa stopped him. Midoriya finally answered, though it was in a quiet voice, another thing Shinsou noticed.
“A-ah nothing m-much… we g-grew up together and over t-time he got a-aggressive. I t-think it had s-something to d-do with his q-quirk but I d-don’t know e-exactly” Midoriya eventually stuttered out, taking off his shirt thinking Shinsou left, he got his shirt off before his phone went off. Aizawa and Shinsou noticed all the scars on his body but the most prominent one is a burned on his shoulder in the shape of a hand print.
“WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!” yelled over the phone the minute Midoriya answered the phone.
“I-I'm still at school. I had extra training, sorry-” Midoriya started before he was cut off.
“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK IF YOU HAD EXTRA TRAINING YOU ARE TO COME HOME THE MINUTE SCHOOL FINSHES! DO I MAKE MY SELF CLEAR CHILD?!” the woman, now that they got a proper listen to the voice, Aizawa had a bad feeling about sending this child home.
“I-I’m on my way home now mu- ma’am” Midoriya answered, flinching at the mix up. He then hung up.
“Shit shit shit” He muttered before he ran out the door. Aizawa and Shinsou looked at each other in concern before Shinsou got his stuff together.
“Mum might want to eat with you and Hizashi, so I'm gonna warn you now she might bring alcohol.” he said as he walked out of the change room to meet his mother, Nemuri, Aizawa shook his head to get thoughts about Midoriya possibly getting hurt by his mother.
Midoriya ran home as fast as he could hoping his mother wont be to hard on him. But he knew that wasn’t the option he was going to get.
But unfortunately, by the time he got home his mother was drunk and has started to throw things around, Midoriya, not trusting his luck, got his alert button ready. All of class 1-A has alert buttons since moving into the dorms seeing as they get into a lot of trouble daily.
The minute his mother sees him, she starts throwing things, but Midoriya hides the button as to not alert his mother of the alarm.
“Useless fucking child, no wonder your father left you” He could hear his mother mutter to herself as she got more drinks. And leaves to drink to the bottle shop.
You see Hisashi Midoriya was the pro hero Flameheart, the dragon hero. He was Eraserhead’s mentor and he had unfortunately died in action due to All For One. The only things Midoriya has of the man is his plushie and a couple of books about his fathers quirk and his relationship with his mother before Izuku was born. But it seemed to change the minute Izuku was born.
Midoriya sighs in relief as he sees his mother leave. He puts the button back into his pocket. He then proceeds to try and cut the bracelets because they hurt him and he wants them gone.
Midoriya was just about to get the first one off before he heard the car his mother drives pull into the driveway.
“Shit shit shit” Midoriya curses as he tries to clean up the blood using his shirt that he took off because it was the only cloth he had near him at that point and hides the tools he was using.
As his mother stumbled through the door, Izuku had just hidden the last of his tools. She stumbled over to Izuku, she grabbed his arms to make sure the bracelets were on his wrists. Izuku had no clue what these bracelets were but they were hurting him and he wanted them gone. Every time he almost got the bracelets off he got sudden urges to find Aizawa and just stay with him.
When Inko was done making sure the bracelets were secured on the boys wrist, she grabbed the broken bottles off the floor and started to drag them across his back, Izuku screamed in pain as she dragged the glass against his body just barely leaving his face and neck untouched.
Twenty minutes of dragging glass against Izuku’s skin then using her quirk to pull at his skin and almost pulling his eyes out, in Izuku’s panic he grabbed something and swung his arm and struck his mother, she screamed out in pain and Izuku hit the panic button. She then swung the glass and stabbed it into Izuku’s right leg and he screamed at the top of his lungs when the door swung open.
Aizawa was dealing a drunk Nem and a tipsy husband when a jazz sound goes off and then immediately cuts off, that could mean one thing.
“FUCK!” Aizawa yells as he grabs his capture weapon and running out the door leaving a very confused Hizashi and a finally passed out Nem. Hizashi quickly sobered up when he realised why his husband left the way he did. Shinsou was walking down the stairs when he noticed that Aizawa was missing and Hizashi was about to put his mother in one of the spare rooms.
“Ah what happened?” he asked as he helped his mothers best friend. They got her into the room before Hizashi answered.
“Well one of the little listeners panic button went off” he said. Hitoshi wondered what student it was.
“What was the alarm, he has a specific one for each of class 1-A as far as I'm aware.” Hitoshi asked, praying it wasn't who he thought it was.
“Well it was jazz for about twenty seconds then compl-” Hizashi started before he noticed the boys face.
“Little listener?”
“Thats Midoriya's alarm.” is all he said before Aizawa burst into the room holding a unconscious Midoriya.
