Chapter Text
“Saeyoung!” MC called. “Dinner is ready!”
After a long day of working on the computer, Saeyoung was thrilled to have dinner with his girlfriend. The kitchen smelled so delicious, he nearly started floating over to her like a cartoon character.
But instead, he came up behind MC and wrapped his arms around her waist.
“It smells delicious!” He smiled, kissing her on the neck. “But not as delicious as you~”
“Saeyoung~” She giggled.
He turned her body around and lifted her up, setting her on the kitchen counter. The next thing she knew, her boyfriend's lips crashed into hers.
The couple began making out, and Saeyoung rubbed his hand up and down MC's thigh. MC accidentally dropped the stirring spoon that was in her hand, before going to wrap her arms around his neck. She could feel his lips curve into a smile as they glided across hers. Saeyoung tasted as sweet as honey.
“H-hello, is there anything I can do to help with dinn-” Saeran froze, walking into the kitchen. His expression became flustered as he saw the couple making out. “Ah. I-I’m sorry!”
Saeyoung broke the kiss, turning to his brother. “Oh. I didn’t know you were home, Saeran!” He laughed. “Sorry man.”
MC was flustered. She pushed herself off the counter and went back to setting the table.
“I’m sorry…” Saeran whispered. “I don’t deserve to eat tonight. I'll go back to my room...”
“Hey!” Saeyoung gasped, running over to grab his brother’s arm. “Don't go. MC and I wanna eat all together,” He offered. “Right?”
His girlfriend nodded. “That’s right!” MC agreed. “I made enough for three people. Please eat with us, Saeran.”
The younger twin shuddered, feeling awkward as he shifted his gaze around the room.
“O…Ok…” The nervous boy agreed. “... Thank you…”
It had only been a couple weeks since Saeran moved in with them. Rehabilitating back into the real world after being in the cult for so long was difficult. But he was grateful for his brother's support. And MC's generosity, as selfless as an angel.
The three ate together in silence.
Then suddenly, Saeyoung’s phone went off.
“Uh-oh,” He groaned. “I gotta go check the server.”
“Now?” MC asked. “But we’re having dinner.”
The redhead stood up, placing a kiss on his girlfriend’s cheek. “Sorry, babe,” He apologized. As he walked past his twin, he patted him on the back. “Keep my girl company will ya, Saeran!”
Saeran felt his anxiety skyrocket as his brother left the room and he was alone with the beautiful girl.
Her dainty hands wrapped around her glass of water before taking a tiny sip. The way she moved, her aura, her energy- so soft and feminine. It was unlike anything Saeran was used to seeing in his entire life.
He found himself staring at her.
“I’m glad you’re here, Saeran,” She suddenly spoke.
“H-huh!?” He gasped. “What do you mean?”
“It’s lonely. Since Saeyoung works so much…” MC sighed. “I’m glad you’re here so I don’t have to eat alone.”
“Oh… r-right…” Saeran apologized. “But don’t worry. I won’t stay here for long. I just need a little more time to… get better…” He clarified. “Then once I can find a job, I promise I’ll move out.”
“There’s no rush,” MC comforted. “Saeyoung and I are here for you. We’re family.”
“Family…” Saeran trembled.
He had never had a family before. His father left him. His mother abused him. And when Rika and V took him under their wing, they only made things worse. It wasn’t fair Saeyoung had escaped their situation with little to no residual trauma. Now the older twin was happy with his perfect job, perfect apartment, and perfect girlfriend.
His perfect girlfriend.
As Saeran stared at her from across the table, he felt his body grow hot. He had to rid himself of such sinful thoughts about her, and quickly stood up from his seat.
“Thank you for the meal,” He expressed. “I’m going to bed now. Goodnight.”
“Saeran, wait!”
She ran over and grabbed onto his arm.
Her touch made him tense up. She was so innocent. She had no idea what she was doing to him in that moment. But the way she clung to his arm was enough to make ecstasy to surge through his veins.
“I mean it, I’m here for you, Saeran...” MC said softly. “I’ll do anything for you.”
She had no idea how such innocent words became twisted in his sickened mind. It was forbidden, the thoughts he had about her in that moment. The things he wanted to do to her. The way he wanted to grab her and have his way with her right then and there.
He had to push down those dark desires in order to prevent himself from becoming a danger not only to his new family, but to himself.
Pulling away from her, Saeran refused to look her in the eyes.
“Goodnight princess.”
He left the room before he could do something he would regret.
