Lloyd can't take the thoughts in his head anymore, they need to be real.

Chapter 1: Where it all began.

Lloyd, he had absolutely no idea what he was doing.

All he knew was that he needed it. He needed the release. The satisfaction... He knew it was wrong, he had seen what it had done to the others, even if they kept quiet. It was like a curse, for all the ninjas to have experienced it. They had decided it be a secret priority to make sure Lloyd wouldn’t continue the cycle.

But the others weren’t here right now, and they couldn’t stop him. They didn’t know. Kai wouldn’t notice if one of his many swords moved an inch, right? It was a small one anyway, like a dagger. He should go back to his bed, do this quick, don’t savour it and risk being noticed. The wooden floorboards were creaky and old, possibly older than Lloyd himself. They had been through a lot, and this made him feel worse, but he pushed the feeling down and continued.

He made it back, after what felt like eternity. Sitting on the bed, removing his Gi. He was supposed to be quick, so why was he hesitant? The green ninja chose to ignore this and go for it while he had the time, carefully slitting his shin, a bit above his ankle. They wouldn’t find it here. It felt wonderful, worth the trouble, something he wanted to do again and again and again! And that’s exactly what he did, before he knew it, they were all over. He moved to the other shin, doing the same thing, then below the knees, then all over his thighs, he got a bit carried away. It just felt so good, like a reward.

But Lloyd wasn't alone anymore.

Shit.

The others were home, Jay’s voice spreading through the thin walls. Lloyd hid under his bedsheets, chucking the sword under the bed, he didn’t know what else to do other than pretend to have fallen in slumber. That’s what he was meant to be doing at this hour, it’s why he wasn’t with the others, sleep matters when you’re the green ninja. “Dude, be quiet! Lloyd’s asleep, you’re being way too loud!” “You two are ridiculous, just go to bed already! I’m going to check on Lloyd and make sure he’s alright.” Nya mentioned with a low voice, aware of the hour. Zane added onto her statement, but Lloyd wasn’t paying much attention...

Chapter 2: Tell me, tell me please..

Summary:

Nya checks on Lloyd, stuff happens.

He could feel the blood on the sheets; he would have to deal with that before the others woke up. The ninja, for now, he just laid there on the soaking comfort, awaiting Nya’s presence facing the wall. He always liked her a lot. She was nice, but still reasonable when need be.

Lloyd's door slowly creaked open, Nya peeking her head trough the gap. Despite his efforts, she could not be fooled, not tonight.

“Lloyd, I know you're up, are you ok?” she asked lowly as to not startle him.

He turned to look at her, accidently moving the wrong way, pulling his wounds at the wrong angle. He let out a small shudder at the painful feeling, then remembered Nya was here...fuck...

“I’m-” Lloyd let out a yawn, not sure if it sounded convincing. “I'm alright, sorry, I was just laying weirdly, moved too fast, you know. You should go to bed, Nya, it’s late.... All of you should...” he added, referring to the sound of the other ninja seeping through both her ears and his own, his eyes partly shut.

She instead chose to enter the room, approaching his bed and taking a seat. He hoped to the First Spinjitzu Master that she wouldn't notice anything...out of the ordinary...

“Are you sure? That sounded painful, were you injured today?” She really did care about the boy... He wasn't like this normally. “Do you want me to get Master Wu? Or Zane?”

“No! No, I'm fine, I promise...” He hoped she would believe him.

Nya was torn. Should she just go to bed, or should she investigate this? She was worried of course, but Lloyd needs his sleep... She decides she needs time to think, to reassure herself that it's not what she's dreading it to be, it's not what she's suspicious is being hidden.

“Alright, but if you need anything, you can come to me, okay? I'm here for you, Lloyd, so are the others.”

“Okay, thank you Nya, I mean it... Goodnight...” he yawns again, but this time, its real.

“Goodnight, Lloyd.” she told him sweetly, standing up and taking her leave.

“Sweet dreams...”

Nya’s in her bed, but she isn't sleeping. Quite the opposite, actually.

It's been three hours now, everybody else seems to be asleep, excluding Cole in the kitchen. She can hear faint noises, the fridge opening and closing, opening and closing, opening and closing again. Three hours, Cole in the kitchen, and Nya staring at the plants beside her bed.

She’s still worried about Lloyd, its eating away at her mind. If what she was thinking was true, she knows it would break her.

But no, she needs to be strong, she needs to be strong for him.
