It was no secret to the Navi tribe that he was a heavenly man. As well as the fact that he lived most of his life on Earth, which means he still has some habits from there. And it was one of these habits that caused this funny incident.
The fact is that Jake often, without noticing it, used obscenities, including in front of children. So they managed to pick up some words.
And that's where our story begins.
Today was a very clear and calm day. Neytiri wove a basket for her tribe, and Jake made a spear. And nothing foreshadowed trouble until Kiri ran into their house, worried.
- Mom, Dad. There, Lo'aka is bullied and neteyam beats children by the river. Kiri sobbed.
Jake and Neytiri clearly didn't expect this from today.
The father jumped up, picked up his sobbing daughter in his arms and, glancing briefly at his wife, rushed to the river. To say that he was in shock is an understatement.
Neteyama was held by his friend and good comrade Ha'shi's shoulder, while his son, covered in blood and bruises, was comforted by his wife. Lo'ak was sitting at the foot of a tree, holding his knees and crying softly. The rest of the children were also maimed, though not as badly as Ha'shi's son.
Navies are beginning to gather around all this chaos.
"Chief! Look what your son did. Ha'shi said indignantly, pushing six-year-old Neteyama towards Jake.
- Neteyam, what does this mean?! - kneeling down, at the same time holding Kiri and pulling his son to himself, Navi hissed.
Meanwhile, Neytiri ran over and picked up her youngest son, gently stroking his back.
Quite a crowd had already gathered around them. Sally heard the Navies whispering to each other.
"They pulled Lo'aka's tail and laughed when he cried!" How could I not protect him?! - pulling his hand out of his father's palm, Neteyam defended himself, while stomping his small foot. - and he actually called him a monster and a demon. - Neteyam grumbled, pointing an accusing finger at the beaten teenager.
And in the next moment, there was an overwhelming silence, where the crying of a child could be clearly heard.
"You did what?" Ha'shi hissed at his own son. - if that was the case, then you haven't had enough yet.
"Your father is right. - despite her son's whimpering, Kin, Ha'shi's wife, agreed with her husband. "We didn't teach you that, and we didn't raise you that way.
Then, turning to Neytiri, she continued.
- I apologize for this incident, it won't happen again.
- I hope otherwise your son won't find it too little. Neytiri hissed as she held Lo'ak even closer to her.
- OK. Since we've figured it out, we should go home. And have an educational conversation with your children. Jake quickly got into the conflict that was beginning. - Let's not inflate this conflict into an even bigger scandal.
"Of course, Chief! Once again, I ask you to forgive my son for his inappropriate behavior. Navi bowed.
- But, Dad!
- we'll talk to you later. If you've already done something wrong, then accept it with dignity. It's necessary to arrange a fight and grab it yourself.
Sally's family did not hear any further argument. They were heading home to the sound of their youngest family member crying. But even after arriving home, Lo'ak was inconsolable.
"Lo'ak, don't cry. Fearless warriors don't cry. - Neteyam jumped up to his mother, while holding his younger brother's tail tightly to calm him down.
No, Adam is right. I found something to get upset about. They're all assholes. - a joyful Kiri echoed her brother.
- Kiri! What we said about swearing. - Jake was very unhappy with his daughter, but he couldn't help but notice how his youngest started laughing loudly.
"You're right. They're all assholes! Following sesetra's mood, Lo'ak swore.
That's where the complete chaos began. How could such a sweet and humble kid like Lo'ak say such bad things.
"My angel, you can't say that!" Kiri was just joking.
- Yes, Lo'ak. I was just joking, don't say that, it's not a good word.
"But that's what Dad always calls bad people."
A deathly silence followed this statement.
"Listen, kid. What I'm saying can only be said by adults, so let's not use that language for now. - in the voice of the father of the family, there were notes of nervousness and the realization that it was he who had ruined his son's manner of speech.
- OK. - Lo'ak didn't bother for a long time. "Then when I get older, I'll say it all!"
Sally's family exhaled. For now, they have avoided disaster. But for the future, Jake decided to restrain himself in front of the children. You never know what might come of it next time.
