Work Text:
As Bok-su gathered the vibrant rose flowers, their velvety petals brushed against her fingers, creating a delightful contrast to the soft green stems. Forming a bouquet was a task she hadn't anticipated, yet Da-jeong had playfully insisted on it, despite bok-su's protest on wanting to study.
Bok-su's delicate white wings, now shrunken from their large size, twitched slightly in response to her unexpected activity, adding an air of whimsy to the serene moment.
As da-jeong playfully rolls over the field, her white wings shaking, flapping, as feathers fall from her wings from excitement, as she gets up on her two feet, picking up the large amount of flowers she dropped, as da-jeong walks towards bok-su, who is looking towards da-jeong, as their eyes meet each other.
Da-jeong looks beautiful in every way possible to bok-su. The way, the sunlight hit da-jeong's face, the way, she smiled so happily, the way, she was holding the flowers.
It's was fun to say the least.
I wish things were the same now.
To my dear da-jeong, who shows not a single hint of remorse.
I wonder if you'll feel that same guilt about marrying him as you did betraying me.
As police alarms were heard from afar, guests backed away from the bride.
"I didn't- i didn't do it..."
"It's not... Not my..."
"It's hers..." Her wings were flattened against her body.
"Dear da-jeong."
Da-jeong turned her head behind to look at her husband's murderer, fear clear as day in her face.
Bok-su was standing far from her, holding the trenchcoat in one arm, as she turned her head to meet da-jeong's eyes.
"Do you atone now?"
