"I may not deserve it," her mother says, "but I'm so glad I have the chance to see the young woman you've become."
Zuko's whole body flushes with warmth at her words, and not just because of the sentiment behind them; it's the fact that Ursa remembered, after all these years, when Zuko herself had done her best to forget. She hadn't needed to explain anything in order to be seen and accepted, and it only helps to cement the truth she already knows. She's more thankful than she can say.
"Me, too," she says, and smiles, giddy with hope.
