Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

Snow drifted gently down from the evening sky. Falling ever so lightly onto her upturned face. A soft smile graced her lips. She was beautiful with short blond hair and cold flushed cheeks. She wore a down-stuffed white jacket and an ankle-length dress that danced about her feet in the wind.

            He approached with purpose.

“The snow is lovely this evening.” He spoke gently as to not spook his prey.

She turned to look at him with the most ordinary blue eyes. He didn’t let his disappointment show. “Yes it is. This is my favorite time of the year.” She smiled at him and held out one gloved hand. “Rachelle McKinnly.”

He took her hand in his own. Returning her smile with one of his own. “Luca Star. A pleasure to meet you Miss McKinnley. It is not everyday that I have the pleasure of seeing a woman as beautiful as you.”

Rachelle giggled. “It is not everyday that I receive such a gracious compliment from a man as handsome as you Mr. Star.”

“Have you had dinner this evening yet?”

            “No, I have not.”

“Come. I know of a lovely little restaurant not too far from here.”

 …

The food was the most delicious thing that she had ever tasted in her life. It took all her strength to not shovel the food into her mouth like an uncouth pig. Across from her, Luca watched her with a dark gleam in his eyes, not that she noticed. The staff noticed though. They all worked for him after all. They hid their glee well, however. Too well trained by the Devil, Himself to let any emotion show. Or let on to the plans planed for the young woman at the table this fine evening.

Rachelle gasped as Luca moved inside her body. Never in all her life had she ever felt so good. A thumb found her clit and she shuddered with pleasure, a mewl escaping her. She had never before made such a sound. Didn’t even know that she could. She had never known the intimate touch of a man before. She knew that it was a sin to lay with a man who was not her rightful husband under God. However, tonight she didn’t care.

Rachelle cried out as she climaxed. Warmth flooded her insides as Luca found his own ending.

Rachelle woke to the warmth of the morning sun shining in from the bedroom windows. She turned to find Luca lying next to her, a lit cigarette between his lips. She smiled at him. “Morning.”

“Morning.” He grumbled. Not a morning person apparently.

Luca placed one hand over her stomach, and from this angle, his eyes looked to be glowing red. Gasping, Rachelle pulled away from Luca. The man growled. Actually growled at her. He looked at her with narrowed eyes that she could no longer deny were, in fact glowing red.

“Get back here!” Luca growled. Before she knew it, Rachelle was laying prone on the bed, frozen with fear and an unknown source keeping her from moving without Luca’s permission. Luca placed a hand on her stomach again. All was quite a moment before he grinned. Luca looked her in the eye. “Good, my seed took. Congratulations, Rachelle McKinnley. You are pregnant with the Devil’s child.”
