Chapter Text

In Wartwood, the small frog town was under attack by King Andrias' army of robots and the reluctant General Yunan. Whom was forced to attack the city just to not get on both Andrias' and Darcy's (Dark Marcy) bad side.

They were strictly here to capture the human known as Sasha Waybright and her toad ally, Captain Grime and retrieve the Calamity Box.

Many of the town's residence and the toad army, were defending their home town as best as they could.

Percy destroyed a few of the robots by decapitating their heads with a shovel all while looking psychotic. "I will perform a river dance on top of your corpses! For I am Percy of the toad army! Look at me with-" Before he could finish his sentence, he got knocked over by one of the robots.

Ivy and her mother were destroying the robots by using their bare hands without gaining a scratch or anything.

"Any bruised knuckles Ivy?" Felicia asked her daughter.

"Bruised, but I can handle it." Ivy replied while lifting her purple knuckles to her face.

Joe Sparrow was tearing up the robots by biting their heads off and crushing what remained of them with its feet.

While Bessie, despite the fact she was a pretty big snail, rammed into the robots causing them to malfunction.

Mayor Toadstool and his aid, Toadie were being brave and using whatever furniture they can find to stop the robots.

The corrupt mayor smashed a chair on the robot, but that unfortunately did nothing.

"Great hit Mayor." Toadie complimented.

"It wasn't enough Toadie." Mayor Toadstool replied.

Before the evil robot could destroy them, Wally jumped behind it and started choking the tin can with his accordion. "Die you dang rust bucket! Die!"

Maddie Flour threw some bags filled with explosives at a dozen of robots, blowing them to smithereens. But before she could throw another sack, Yunan picked her up by the neck and started choking her.

"I, General Yunan have done many things, but threatening a little kid by snapping her neck will have to be the most cruelest thing I'll ever do!" Yuanan exclaimed. "For the sake of Amphibia and the all might-" But before the rambling newt general could finish her speech, Maddie bit her hand, causing her to let go.

"Pester someone else!" Maddie demanded before going back to destroying more of the robots.

"Where are they?!" Yunan exclaimed as she activated the retractable wrist blades.

Meanwhile in the Plantar home, the human general of the toad army known as Sasha Waybright, was preparing a portal made from some metal with Andrias' Calamity Box that she and Captain Grime 'borrowed' on top.

"This better work." Grime said to his human friend.

"I've repeated the method Lady Olivia said to me a ton of times, I am hopeful that it does." Sasha said.

"What makes you think that Anne might be able to stop this madness?" Grime asked as he gripped his giant hammer. "Are we not enough?"

"We will be for a while." Sasha replied. "We need Anne more than anything. Her and her awesome powers." Sasha then sighed. "But I'm afraid of what her reaction might be when she sees what Andrias has done to Marcy."

"Why don't you use your powers?"

"Powers?!" Sasha exclaimed. "Do I look like I have powers?!"

"I assumed you might have." Grime replied. "Because if Anne could have gained powers through the box, then you might have. I mean, imagine all the damage we could cause to the King and his-"

"Grime!" Sasha interjected. "I don't know if I have gained those Anime powers, but so far, I don't have those Anime powers." Just then, there was a beeping sound and Sasha smiled. "Ha! Got ya working you little sucker after…..What numbered attempt was it again, Grime?"

Grime looked to a pile of metallic junk in the living area marked 'Failed test runs.' "Test number 9, Sasha."

"Please work." Sasha pleaded.

Just then, the sound of metallic feet approaching the house was heard meaning that General Yunan and a small battalion of her army were approaching.

"Hurry Sasha!" Grime exclaimed. "Yunan's about to burst our door. Which luckily means she as well will have to pay for property damages!"

Sasha pushed a few buttons on the device which looked like an arm with the box on top. This caused all the gems to glow. This sight made Sasha smile just as Yunan burst the door down with her robotic forces.

But luckily, the portal had already activated and managed to engulf Sasha and Grime back to Earth, hopefully.

Dirt. That's what Sasha felt when she woke up. She pulled herself up and started looking around the area she was in. It was like she hadn't been there before.

Grime eventually sat up and took a deep breath. "Ah, human air!" Grime exclaimed happily. "What a…..Disappointing feeling. It's just Amphibia's fresh air but in a different spot." He then looked forward and smiled at someone. "Oh, a human. Don't be afraid! I know you haven't seen a walking talking toad before but…Sasha, help me calm this human. Because she looks petrified and confused about me."

"Grime."

"Yeah?"

"We are not on Earth." Sasha replied.

"What makes you say that?" Grime asked before acknowledging the person in front of him. "You there, are we on Earth?"

The person whom Grime was talking to was a tan skinned girl around 14 years old with short spiky black hair, a short-sleeved half-white and half-indigo hoodie, high-waisted shorts, dark grey capris leggings, and white loafers.

"Uh…." The girl replied.

"No! No! No! No! No!" Sasha repated. "We're not on Earth! We're….." Sasha then saw a griffin fly over her that breathed out spider breath. "….in some kind of dark fantasy realm!"

Sasha then narrowed her eyes at the strange girl who pulled an approachable smile. "Well, good thing I-"

Before she could reply, Sasha grabbed her by the shoulder of her shirt and pushed her against one of the trees. "Where am I?! Huh?! Where am I?!"

"Get your hands off of her!"

Then, Grime got attacked by some kind of dark purple gloop that latched around his waist and caused him to drop his giant hammer.

The person in question, was a purple haired, pale skinned, pointy eared girl with a black robe and maroon leggings. "Let her go!" The girl demanded.

"Not until she tells me where I am!" Sasha responded intensely.

"Oh I will." The girl replied before she pulled out a piece of paper and placed it on Sasha's chest. "Once you find your way back." The girl then hit the paper on the girl's chest, causing her to be launched backwards, causing her to let go of the girl with magic paper.

The girl with black hair quickly dropped to the ground where she landed on her front.

Sasha then crashed into a tree, shattering it in an instant. She quickly got back up and pulled out her sword. "I should have asked Maddie if she wanted to come." Sasha grumbled to herself.

Meanwhile, the pointy eared witch walked to the human witch and pulled her back up. "Luz, are you okay?"

"I'm fine Amity." The girl known as Luz responded.

"Hey, you two going to free me?!" Grime asked as he struggled to get out of the purple goop. "I've been in prison and I don't deserve this kind of treatment."

Amity then narrowed her eyes at the toad captain. "Why should I?!"

"Because, me and my protege are in a rush!" Grime replied. "Unless you know Anne Boonchuy, then I'm not telling you anything!"

Luz then froze. "Wait. What did you say?"

Just then Sasha ran out of the bush and started charging towards the witches. Amity was quick to retract her Abomination from Grime and formed a sword out of it. The cotton candy haired witch then started charging towards Sasha and the two clashed their blades at each other.

"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Luz interjected. "Anne Boonchuy! You're friends with Anne Boonchuy?"

Sasha froze when the mysterious witch mentioned her best friend's name and put her sword back in the satchel. "You know Anne Boonchuy?"

"I have a question, who is Anne Boonchuy?" Amity asked as she put her Abomination back in her pot.

"I have a question, how is Anne Boonchuy?" Grime asked as he got back up. "I mean, no one seems to ask how she's doing."

The four all remained still unaware of what to say to each other until Luz broke the silence. "I think we got a lot to talk about. Cause something tells me you guys have interesting backstories."

"And something tells me you do as well." Sasha remarked. "Cause something tells me a human wouldn't be caught dead in this world."

"Okay, I'll start!" Grime offered. "Mainly because my story is more entertaining."

Chapter Text

"…And that's how I got this scar!" Grime finished. "It was the most intense experience of my life. I mean, you will not believe the birds in my world."

Sasha had just narrowed her eyes at her toad partner while Luz and Amity looked absolutely engaged with the story that was told.

"Grimesy, you just got off topic." Sasha said.

"I did?" Grime asked.

"Kind of felt like it." Luz replied. "I mean, as much as I really enjoy backstories, I am more interested as to how Sasha got that scar on her face."

"But….." Grime pouted.

"Look, just let me explain the story." Sasha requested.

And so that's what Sasha did, she started to explain the story of her, Anne and Marcy. She told them as to how she, Anne and Marcy got to Amphibia, how Sasha gained respect from the toad army and became their lieutenant, how her reunion with Anne got out of hand, how she and Grime were fugitives, how Grime got the warhammer, how Sasha's reunion with Marcy went, how everyone got along until she and Grime betrayed everyone, how they found out about the supposedly nice King Andrias, what happened to Marcy and Anne, how them two escaped and how they have been defending Wartwood for a couple of months before stealing the calamity box from King Andrias and ending up here. Sasha left out the part where Marcy got stabbed and possessed by a great evil to spare herself some pain.

"….And that's where we are." Sasha said to a really engaged Luz and Amity. "Now, do you have any questions?"

Luz and Amity were silent, trying to process the story until the former raised her hand up. "Wait, shouldn't you have those Anime powers as well?"

"Huh?"

"I agree with Luz, shouldn't they have given you those powers as well?" Amity asked.

"I don't know about it." Sasha replied. "Maybe I just haven't gotten them due my connection to the stone not being strong enough."

"Yes! And soon when you unlock the power known as Anime…." Grime said while rubbing his hands maniacally. "….Imagine all the destruction we can cause to the king's robots."

"Actually, Anime is a form of Japanese animation." Luz explained to the toad captain.

"Oh. But can it also be the name of the powers Sasha have?"

"I….Uh, never mind." Sasha then turned her attention to Luz. "Okay, how did you end up here? Because I doubt you were born here on account of the elf over here."

Amity glared at Sasha. "I'm not an elf."

"Cariño, I don't think she meant to offend you." Luz assured her. "Besides, you'd look really pretty dressed as an elf."

"Luz!" Amity pouted as her whole face turned red since she was in blush overload.

"Okay, let's tell my story….."

And so Luz just did that, she told her story in the best way knows she could, montage! She told the story of how she got here, to how she became the student to Edalyn Clawthorne, to how she met her best friends; Willow and Gus, Eda's curse, the glyphs, how she and Amity got to know one another instead of being enemies, the infamous Grom dance, the more glyphs Luz discovered, Luz rescuing Eda from the Emperor, getting King his memories back, the discovery of Phillip Wittlebane, the cheek kiss, the Palisman incident, the day Luz and Amity got together and rebuilding the door to the human realm and leaving out the part where Luz had a heart breaking goodbye with her mom.

While the montage went on, the four were suddenly on top of the Grom tree, then they were in the library, then they were walking around Bonesborough and finally, they were having tea in otter onesies.

"So, that's it." Luz finished. "Nothing else to tell."

Instead of asking what the heck happened between Luz and her mom, Sasha and Grime were more befuddled by what had happened. Were they just in otter onesies drinking tea?

"What….Happened?!" Grime exclaimed.

"She doesn't want to talk about what happened between her and her mom." Amity replied. "Believe me, I tried getting her to talk-"

"No, not that!" Grime exclaimed. "What happened?! Were we just having tea dressed like otters?! Otters!"

"Oh, that's the merits of a montage." Luz replied. "A lot of stuff that doesn't need explaining sometimes happens in a montage."

Grime, obviously being super freaked out by Luz's montage powers, stood up and took about 17 paces away from her and sat down.

"Is this going to take some time to get used to?!" Amity asked.

"I…..Don't know." Grime replied as he wiped away a stray tear.

"Okay, it's clearly obvious I'm not in the human realm." Sasha announced. "I better get going. And Luz, good luck with getting back."

"You too Sasha." Luz replied.

"Okay." Sasha then started to look around the area she was currently in. She ran around the tree and then searched through her cape.

"Uh…..You are going, right?" Amity asked.

"No! No! No! No! No!" Sasha repeated. "No! Oh no! No! No!"

"What?" Amity asked.

"The box! It's gone!" Sasha replied. "Grime, please tell me you have the box!"

"I thought you had it!" Grime replied.

Sasha gave a frustrated groan. "What am I going to do?!"

"You want help?" Luz asked.

"Unless you have a calamity box, then I doubt you'd be of any use." Sasha retorted.

"Look, I know you just met me and I think you might have some trust issues." Luz explained. "Especially you Grime. Again, sorry for freaking you out with the montage."

"It's okay!" Grime replied. "I should have expected strange human things by now."

"But, I am trying to find a way back home so maybe I might be able to help." Luz said. "Maybe we can help each other."

Sasha then smiled. "You're really willing to help someone you've just met, aren't you?"

"Hey, when I first met my friend, Willow, I was willing to help her." Luz responded.

Sasha was at first hesitant since she was a stranger, but then she realised that she had no other choice. "Alright Luz, what do we do?"

"Hey Luz, can I talk to you?" Amity asked her girlfriend.

"Sasha, can I talk to you?" Grime asked his second-in-command.

And so, Grime pulled Sasha away while Amity pulled Luz away so they can each talk with them in private.

"Sasha, are you sure it's a good idea to trust someone we just met?" Grime asked. "I mean, you told her what was practically your whole life story."

"Grime, I know you were really freaked out by the montage thing….." Sasha said as she placed two firm hands on his shoulders. "….and in all honesty, I was as well. Because I am now questioning my whole existence. But, she is probably our only way back to Earth to get to Anne so we can stop Andrias once and for all. And besides, I think telling my redemption story would have gotten them to trust us."

"I don't fully trust her and I don't buy her so-called redemption story." Amity said to her girlfriend.

"Amity, what if she is telling the truth?" Luz asked. "And if she really is Anne's friend then, I must help her."

"Have you thought that maybe she could double cross you? I mean, if I know double crossers, which I have a lot of experience in, then I say she is one."

"You may not buy her redemption story but….She probably does. She looked really regretful when she said she double crossed her best friends."

"Luz, I know stopping you is impossible but please remain a little bit cautious. For me." Amity requested as she placed her hands on Luz's shoulders.

Luz then pulled a serious expression. "Okay, I'll try. Besides Am, it's not like a robot is just going to land out of nowhere and start blasting."

Just then, one of Andrias' robots landed in front of them from out of nowhere while doing a superhero landing. It pulled its head up and started scanning the targets. Two were scanned as human, one was scanned as toad and one was scanned as elf.

"Uh oh." Sasha responded before the robot fired a missile.

While Sasha, Grime and Luz ducked for cover, Amity quickly formed an abomination shield and got in front of the missile. The explosion only caused Amity to fly backwards and crash into the Grom tree and to lay on the ground, looking unconscious.

"Amity!" Luz ran to her girlfriend just to make sure she was okay.

Sasha and Grime only narrowed their eyes at the robot and readied their respective weapons.

"Alright robot, ready to be scrap?" Sasha asked the robot before running towards it in an attempt to slash it.

But as the robot tried to do the same, it was suddenly hit by an icicle that only shattered on impact. The attack baffled both the robot and Sasha before they saw Luz with a stack of papers at the ready.

"Aww man, I thought that would have impaled it." Luz said.

The robot was about to fire another round, but Grime quickly smashed its head with his warhammer, causing a dent to appear.

"Is that all you got?!" Grime asked the robot.

Sasha quickly charged at the robot and tried to stab it in the face, but it tried to stab her with a wrist blade. She quickly performed a roll, avoiding the blade. Then Grime hit the robot again which gave Sasha the opportunity to stab it in the chest.

But somehow, the robot wasn't going down even with a sword in their chest. "Uh oh."

Grime tried to hit the robot again, but it quickly slammed its fist in his face but Grime was tough as well and wiped his cheek. "That hurt." Grime said intensely.

Sasha quickly let go of the sword and avoided every one of the robot's hits and even a random missile, that almost hit a passing Tinella Nosa.

"The Isles are exploding!" Tinella started running away in terror. "I must infowm evewyone!"

Sasha tried to pull the sword from the robot's chest, but it was really lodged in well and she was already getting exhausted. While Grime did manage to get a few hits, he just kept getting thrown about.

But before Sasha could do a move to make her collapse, Luz popped from behind the robot and placed two glyphs on the robot's eyes. The human witch quickly jumped off the mechanical beast where the glyphs exploded, causing the robot to be blinded.

"Took you long enough." Sasha remarked.

"Waiting for an opening." Luz explained. "Grab the sword!"

Sasha quickly ran to the blinded robot, pulled the sword from its chest and performed a quick, clean decapitation to its head and making the robot collapse.

The act amazed Luz while Grime just applauded like crazy. "Woo! That's my adopted daughter! In a way, I've adopted her illegally."

"¡Oh Dios mío! That was incredible!" Luz complimented.

"Eh, not to brag but….Okay, to brag, I am pretty great." Sasha said before turning to the robot and started to analyse it.

"Is that one of those robots?" Luz asked. "Because if they are from the Boiling Isles, then I didn't know of their existence."

"Nope, they're from Amphibia." Sasha replied.

"Wait, Amphibia?" Grime repeated. "That can only….."

It was at this moment, Sasha and Grime both realised something. "Hey Grimesy, no one happened to burst through the door, right?"

"Last I checked, it was General Yunan and the King's army." Grime replied.

"General Whonan?" Luz asked.

"General Yunan. General of the king's army." Sasha replied. "Really annoying. She goes on a long speech about her achievements. Saying how she was the youngest member of the Newtopian army and other stuff I don't care about."

"Aww, I was really impressed with her efforts." Said a familiar voice that made Sasha's blood boil. "Uh…Can someone bring my face to the screen so I can get a good look to who I'm talking to?"

Grime pulled one of the robot's arm without a hitch and lifted it to Sasha's face. It was none other than the King of Newtopia, King Andrias.

"Hey Sasha, how's it hanging?"

"Hey, I like this guy." Luz remarked. "He's rather friendly."

"Hey thank you. Kid, just for that compliment, I'm gonna give you the choice of being spared or having me kill you. Okay?"

Luz's only response was. "Uh…."

"That, would be King Andrias." Sasha replied. "The one that is trying to kill me."

"So, I see you're back on Earth. That's great, for you. But, better for me because most of my army is there which means they'll soon have that Calamity box and activate it to bring me to your world and…..You, are on Earth, right?"

"No!" Grime replied.

"GRIIIME!" Sasha exclaimed.

"Oh! I wasn't meant to tell him?" Grime asked.

"I wouldn't!" Sasha replied.

"Well, that's disappointing. Well, wherever you are, I hope you can put up a good fight against my robots and Yunan, because they won't be merciful."

Luz then pulled the head of the robot Sasha recently decapitated. "Buddy, you should have seen the clean decapitation."

"You should have seen the clean aim when I pierced my sword through Marcy's chest." Andrias said rather intimidatingly.

Sasha clenched her fists and pulled her sword out. "Low blow, dude."

"You can not stop me Sasha, no matter how hard you and Anne try, I will succeed. Your planet will be mine. Better dressed Anne."

"Yeah?"

"I'm coming for your universe next, okay? Hope I get to spare ya. Andrias out!" Andrias winked before hanging up.

"We need to find that box, now." Sasha said while Grime threw the arm on the ground.

"It could be anywhere Sasha." Grime stated.

"Well, we need to start somewhere." Sasha then turned to Luz. "Luz, where should we start?"

"I don't know." Luz replied. "That box could be anywhere."

"Frogspawn!" Sasha groaned. "Well, let's get to work right away."

"I wouldn't." Luz said. "It's going to rain soon."

"Yeah, you think rain can bother me?" Sasha asked smugly.

"Have I told you about boiling rain?" Luz then rolled up her sleeve to reveal a burn mark. "This was from two days ago." Sasha and Grime froze, realising that this human witch was definitely telling the truth. "Do you need a place to wait out for the rain to disappear? Because those trees don't help."

"Yes, thank you." Sasha replied. "What about her?"

It was at this moment, Amity started to come back around. "Did we win?" Amity asked. "And what was that?"

Luz approached her girlfriend. "The boiling rain storm is closing in and I'm taking our guests back to The Owl House."

"Owl?!" Grime then tackled Luz and forced her against the Grom tree. "You're trying to feed me to owls?!"

"Hey, let her go!" Amity demanded as she stood up and readied her abomination just in case.

"Grime, I think it's just a nickname." Sasha said. "It is a nickname, right?"

"Well yes and no." Luz replied. "There are no owls. Unless you count Hooty and Eda. But don't worry, they're not giant."

"Oh good." Grime let go of Luz due to her reassurance. "Take us there."

"You alright Amity?" Luz asked.

"Yeah. Just a bit woozy." Amity replied.

"Shame you got up. I was about to offer carrying you."

Amity froze and turned red in the face before purposely dropping to the ground. "Luz! I think my leg might be bruised. Could you carry me?" Amity had a bit of a playful grin on her face which Luz recognised and smiled back.

"Of course my lady." Luz replied before picking up her girlfriend and carrying her, bridal style. "Scoop!"

"How does a relationship between a human and elf actually work?" Grime's question only made Amity narrow her eyes at the toad captain.

Luz then motioned Sasha and Grime to follow her and she started walking, all while carrying her awesome girlfriend.

"If the robots are here, then Yunan is obviously here." Sasha said.

"Well, let's hope she ends up in the middle of nowhere." Grime said. "I'd pay good money to see her confused."

At Blight manor, Odalia Blight, the wicked mother of Amity, was walking in the living area with a cup of tea in her hand. She stopped and narrowed her eyes at the person in the room.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?!" Odalia asked.

Turns out, a confused General Yunan was in the living room trying to figure out her surroundings. "Uh…Sasha?! Grime?! You in this….Fancy….Mud hole?!"

The description of her house being a mud hole made Odalia spit her tea out of her mouth. "Mud hole?!"

"Okay, I can tell I angered you, so let me explain everything." Yunan offered. "But first, my name. My name is General Yunan, Scourge of the Sand Wars, Defeater of Ragnar the Wretched, and the youngest newt to ever achieve the rank of general in the great Newtopian Army!"

"You say that like I'm meant to know you." Odalia remarked.

Meanwhile, Luz led her new acquaintances to the house of the hour: The Owl House; All while carrying Amity.

Sasha and Grime marvelled at the sight of this ginormous house. It looked incredible! It looked like a fantasy house come to life.

"Wow." Sasha responded.

"I know? Incredible. You'll love who resides there."

"You know what Luz? This house looks really nice with a name of the Owl House." Grime complimented.

"Oh my gosh a giant toad!"

"What?"

Before Grime could react, the house demon known only as Hooty tried to swallow Grime whole. But could only get his head and chest in his mouth.

"Hey!" Sasha then pulled her sword out, ready to attack the house demon.

"Sasha, Hooty!" Luz then carefully placed Amity on the ground as she tried to rescue both Hooty and Grime.

Chapter Text

Eda Clawthorne AKA The Owl Lady, awoke from her nest and gave a long yawn while stretching her arms in the air. But suddenly, one of her hands fell off. "Oh son of a…." The Owl Lady then picked up her hand and attached it back to her arm.

She walked downstairs, still feeling tired like she had just had a great night of drinking nothing but apple blood. She passed the living area where her adopted son, King, was playing with his stuffed animals by pretending they were his loyal subjects.

"Bow before me!" King demanded like a ruler. His favourite stuffed toy, Francois then tilted to the right, causing King to sigh. "No Francois, bow! Don't make me use my scream powers. I may not be king, but I am still royalty."

Eda chuckled and shook her head at her son's antics, before walking to the kitchen. She decided to make herself a cup of tea with a hint of apple blood to tone down the bitterness of the morning drink. "Hey King, have you seen Luz?!"

"She's gone out to see her girlfriend, why?!" King asked.

"Just curious." Eda replied as she took a sip of her morning apple blood/tea combo. The Owl Lady looked like she did nothing but drink apple blood all night, but in actuality, she spent all night planning a prison break to rescue Raine Whispers, the former head of the Bard Coven/Member of the Emperor's Coven/Eda's ex.

She looked at a former school photo of her, Raine and her sister Lilith walking to class. And another of Eda and Raine posing in front of an orange haired Odalia Blight with the nervous witch staring at the incoming witch behind them since the Blight didn't exactly want orange in her hair.

“Ha! Wish I could relive that day." Eda said to herself before looking out the window and spitting out her drink at some kind of horrifying sight. "Hooty!"

Eda saw that Hooty was trying to swallow somebody but had only gotten to swallowing their head and chest. And next to Hooty, was a blonde girl trying to hack and slash at the owl tube, Luz trying to pull Hooty's mouth off of them and Amity trying to defend Hooty from the blonde girl.

"Oh for Titan's sake." Eda groaned before running out of the house to help him. "Hooty! Spit them out! Spit them out this instant!" Eda then used her strength to remove Hooty from the person in question, whom was a toad with a scar along his eye. "Okay what's going on here, Hooty?"

"I was trying to eat a toad and this girl with a sword starting to hack and slash at me." Hooty replied.

Eda looked at Grime, whom was trying to wipe away Hooty's horrendous drool off of himself. "So, this is The Owl House?"

"Yeah." Luz replied.

"And you said it was just a nickname." Grime narrowed his eyes at Luz.

"You should have told me your owl would try and eat my friend!" Sasha yelled at Luz.

"I'm sorry, okay?!" Luz exclaimed.

"Hey, she didn't expect for Hooty to start eating Grime!" Amity yelled at Sasha. "And okay, I admit that you attacking Hooty was understandable. He isn't known for personal boundaries."

"Okay, time out!" Eda exclaimed as she made the time out gesture. "I think I'm missing a lot of stuff here. Luz, who is this human that was trying to kill Hooty? And why is there a frog with a war hammer?"

"Toad!" Grime exclaimed.

"Sorry, all of you look the same to me." Eda apologised.

"We have more warts!"

"Thank you for the disgusting information." Eda said. "Make me hurl my morning apple blood/tea combo why don't ya?"

"Don't you mean apple juice?" Sasha asked.

"No." Eda replied before hearing the sound of thunder. "Oh Titan! Get inside and explain everything quickly. Boiling rains are not friendly."

Hooty slithered back to his position while Eda, her adopted daughter, her possible future daughter-in-law and the strangers ran inside the house to prevent their skin from burning off.

Eda quickly pulled a switch that was near the door and it activated a shield that surrounded Hooty to prevent him from feeling any pain.

"So, does anyone wanna tell me why there's another human and a walking talking toad on the Boiling Isles?" Eda asked once they were inside.

"It's a long story." Sasha replied.

"Oh, those kind of stories." Eda said before stretching. "Alright, tell me in the living room. It's where I can lie down. King, we have guests!"

"When you say guests, do you mean ones where we have to kick their butts?" King asked. "Or just guests?"

”Just guests." Eda replied as she walked out of the kitchen.

Sasha gave a small smirk and nudged Luz. "How old is she?"

"Somewhere in her late 30's." Luz replied. "Her curse makes her look older."

"Wait, she's in her late 30's?!" Luz nodded her head. "She looks like foxy grandma."

"What makes her….a fox?" Amity asked.

Sasha sighed. "Is this the kind of world where no one gets human metaphors?"

"Yeah, but it's cute when she doesn't understand metaphors." Luz replied while smiling at Amity, causing the witch to blush.

"Stop doing that!" Amity exclaimed while hiding her blush with her hands.

"Hey, you kids coming or what?!" Eda yelled from the living area.

"Come on Sash, you're going to love King." Luz said.

The four later entered the living area where Eda had just got out of her nightwear and was in her maroon dress. Upon seeing the smokin hot dress, Sasha whistled while Grime blushed.

"Oh….Dang…Oh…" Grime muttered before fanning himself. "…is it just me, or did it get hot in here?"

"No, it's cold!" King exclaimed as he walked from behind the couch. "Oh, these are the guests?"

Sasha gasped at the sight of King, immediately snatched him up and started hugging him. "Oh my gosh! He is even cuter in person! If you were a stuffed toy I'd have you on my mantle piece!"

"Ah! Not again!" King screamed in pure terror as he struggled to free himself. "Luz, help me! Amity, help me! Eda, help me! Toad, help me!"

"Come on King, give her five more minutes." Luz encouraged the prince while Amity just snickered and Eda chuckled.

"Okay Sash, I think the dog has screamed in terror nicely." Grime requested.

"Grime, can I hold him for 2 more minutes?" Sasha asked.

"Can you hold me for no more minutes?!" King retorted.

Eda then pulled King off from Sasha and placed him on the couch. "Okay Scar, that's enough."

"Wait, what did you call me?" Sasha asked.

"I called you Scar on account of your cool scar." Eda replied.

"She gives everyone nicknames." Luz replied.

"Okay, you gonna explain your presence or do I need to feed someone to Hooty?" The Owl Lady asked.

"Please, I've always wanted to eat something big." Hooty pleaded.

"Okay, Eda, this is Sasha and Grime, they come from the frog world where we met Anne." Luz replied.

"Who's Anne?" Eda asked.

"You know…frog world? Amphibia? Girl with frog family? Had leaves in her hair."

"Had an old frog father figure who looked like a corpse." Grime said.

Luz chuckled. "Was missing a shoe. A tadpole described me as Better Dressed Anne."

Eda smiled. "Ooooooohhhhhh! Terribly Dressed Luz! How is she these days? Did she get home?"

"Well….it's a long story." Sasha replied. "I'll explain from the beginning."

64 minutes later.

"….and that's where we are." Sasha finished. "So….What do you have to say about this?"

Eda looked surprised. "So wait, you betrayed your best friend? And I'm meant to buy your redemption story?"

"Come on! What about the part about King Andrias' army?!" Sasha asked.

"Scar, I already have one tyrant to deal with, I don't need another." Eda replied.

"Well, she's helpful." Grime sarcastically retorted.

"Sorry, I just have a lot going on at the moment." Eda replied. "I'm organising a prison break and I'm trying to figure out what Emperor Belos is planning."

"Hey, Eda might not be able to help but me and Amity will be able to." Luz assured her.

"Thanks, Luz." Sasha replied while giving her a smile. However, Amity just narrowed her eyes at the blonde human in question, still somewhat suspicious about her.

"Well, the boiling rains won't stop for another 22 hours, so you're going to need a place to sleep." Eda said.

"That means we can have a sleepover!" Luz exclaimed. "I was planning to have one with Anne, but the portal was going to close so we couldn't do it. But now I can have one with you, Amity and King."

"Okay kids, just don't be loud." Eda suggested. "Sasha looks like she has a lot of work tomorrow."

"So, where am I sleeping?" Grime asked.

"How about my stomach?" Hooty suggested.

"Anywhere but the owl's stomach?" Grime asked.

"Oh…..Well…"

"Can I be involved in the girl's sleepover?" Grime asked.

"No, you can sleep in the basement." Eda replied. "I might have a spare sleeping bag."

"Very well." Grime replied. "Like Eda said, Sasha, don't be too loud. I need my sleep as well. I haven't had any for 48 hours and I could be hallucinating….Wait, when did the elf have hair loopies?"

Amity narrowed her eyes at Grime while Eda laughed at the Blight being called an elf before realising something. "Wait a minute, does that mean I'm going to be called an elf as well?"

Later, Eda lead Grime into the basement where there was a ginormous hole, something that made the toad unresponsive. "Uh…"

"Oh yeah, Hooty captured Amity just to get Luz to ask her out." Eda explained.

"Wow….Love is a strange thing in this world." Grime remarked before noticing something that made his eyes squint. "Wait a minute…." He approached something on one of the shelf's and snatched it off.

"Hey, if you're gonna steal something, couldn't you wait till I was asleep?" Eda asked.

"You had a calamity box this entire time?!" Grime exclaimed in shock.

"No and yes." Eda replied. "I thought this was the real deal but it turns out I was scammed so I just used it as a candy box." She opened it to reveal the box had a bunch of wrapped candy's.

"Oh. Well, I was about to attack you but may I take the candy?" Grime asked.

"I forgotten about this doohickey until today so…the candy is probably out of date." Eda explained.

"Darling, I'm a toad." Grime retorted.

Eda then shook her head. "Sorry, the beast inside me demands it now." She then shuddered. "I am going to regret it."

Meanwhile, in Luz's room, the human witch had prepared an orb for them to hopefully watch one of her Animes: Food Battles for examples.

Luz and Amity were watching the orb with King sleeping beside them since he got too comfortable on a pink feathery pillow.

Sasha had found some spare pyjamas that she could wear as opposed to her armour because that would be very uncomfortable.

"So, what Anime are we watching?" Sasha asked. "I just hope it doesn't distract me."

"You're still wondering about the box?" Luz asked.

"I just hope no one got their hands on it." Sasha said before sitting next to the girlfriends. "So, what garbage Anime are we watching again?"

"Amity just wants to watch the news first." Luz replied. "Her siblings called her about a comet that passed and they want her to watch a news report about it."

"Ssshh! I think this is it." Amity said as she payed attention to the news hosted by Perry Porter.

"In other news , a mysterious comet passed over today causing some panic for the citizens." Perry explained. "The Emperor’s Coven has assured that it was just nothing and The Titan has saved us once again. Here are a few eyewitness reports."

First one happened to be Principal Bump. "I was doing Saturday detention and I assumed the students saying there was a comet was just a poor distraction, but it turned out to be true when my Palisman pointed it out."

Then the next one was Boscha. "Yeah! Yeah! It was scary and all. But honestly, I just don't care."

Then the next one was Edric and Emira, Amity's older twin siblings. "I mean, it was such a beautiful comet that passed." Edric remarked.

"Yeah. It looked like a giant smoke ball." Emira said.

"Hi Mittens! Guess which awesome siblings are on the orb?!"

Amity sighed. "I knew them caring about the news was strange."

"Unfortunately there were no photos of the event, except from one from a miss Tiny Nose." Perry explained.

"I have seen the cweatures that have come fwom it!" Tiny Nose exclaimed with her scroll in hand. "They are here to pwobe us! Take a look at this picture I took! Photowaphy lessons have paid off.” She showed the picture of the comet to the camera. 

The comet in question looked like was shining blue, green and pink. This was something that made Sasha freeze. "Hold on a sec, pause."

Luz paused the orb and Sasha started to stare at it like she had just realised something about it. The colours of the comet looked similar to the gems on the calamity box.

"Oh my gosh!" Sasha exclaimed. "Why did that happen? If I recall, this didn't happen when me, Anne and Marcy got to Amphibia. Where did it land?" Sasha then unpaused the news so she could listen.

"Experts from the Astronomy Coven have speculated that the comet has landed on the knee. Many of the astronomers are hoping to try and get a piece of rock if The Emperor's Coven have not yet decided to launch their own investigation. Because if that's the case, then that would suck for someone who needs to get it to pass their classes."

Sasha, Luz and Amity then smiled, knowing what they were doing. "Looks like we know what we're doing tomorrow." Sasha said.

"But what about The Emperor's Coven?" Amity asked with concern. "They might start going after it."

"Amity, Amity, Amity." Luz shook her head. "The Emperor's too worried about his problems. I doubt he'd have time to go after what everyone thinks is a space rock."

Meanwhile, at the Emperor's palace, Hunter, the current Golden Guard, approached the throne room of his uncle, Emperor Belos.

Beside the emperor was a pale bald man who looked like he was in his late 50's to mid 60's. Something that confused Hunter at first but he let it pass.

Hunter took a knee to honour his emperor/uncle. "What is my bidding my liege?"

"Hunter, you will be glad to know that I have a task for you." Belos replied. "And it has nothing to do with surveying the palace."

"What is it?" Hunter asked. "If it's to go after that human I will-"

"No!" Belos interjected. "That human doesn't matter yet."

A man with dark skin and golden hair arrived with an orb in his hand. He placed it on the floor and tapped on it three times, making the orb into some kind of projector projecting on the wall. The image was of the multicoloured comet crashing down.

"Have you heard of the comet that passed today?" Belos asked.

"I've heard." Hunter replied.

"That is no regular comet, Hunter." Belos explained. "Those colours can only mean one thing. The Calamity Box."

"You want me to find a box?" Hunter queried. "What for?"

"It's no ordinary box Hunter, it is a box that can help us travel anywhere."

"But my liege, we have the door to the Human Realm." Hunter pointed out.

"But unfortunately Hunter, you need to think of the possibility of the first time failing." Belos said. "The Titan does not tolerate failure. Which is why, we need a backup plan just in case. Hence, why I am sending you to go and search for the box and deliver it to me in one piece."

"It will be done my Emperor." Hunter assured him.

"Not just you, you are young and incompetent." Belos said.

Hunter froze as he stared at his uncle. "I do not need anyone to prove myself."

"That's what you think." Belos said. "But I need someone to monitor you just in case. And I am not sending Kikimora due to her disdain towards you. Hunter, allow me to introduce to you your predecessor, Malsacc."

The bald man that stood beside Belos walked down the stairs, wearing what appeared to be golden army that looked like had seen better days since it looked old and worn out. His cape was maroon as opposed to Hunter's white cape.

"So….This is the boy that took my place." Malsacc remarked while giving a smile that showed off his sharp rows of teeth. "He's a little scrawny, don't you think?"

"The Titan chose him." Belos said.

"Haven't you come to the possibility that they perhaps have made a mistake?" Malsacc asked. "But, I should never oppose of The Titan so I will make his choice worthy enough."

"Excellent." Belos said. "Hunter, you will do as Malsacc commands, disobey his orders and you will suffer like a certain member of my Coven."

"Oh yes." Malsacc chuckled. "You wouldn't wish to end up like that nervous violin playing traitor."

"Belos, if that box I am after comes from another world, shouldn't we consider that something might have come through?" Hunter asked.

"What could have possibly come through?" Malsacc asked.

Just then, Darius, another member of the Emperor's Coven, burst into the room with one of King Andrias' robots as his prisoner. "My liege, this….Walking tin has been spotted walking around the palace like a lost Palisman."

"Why have you brought this to me?" Belos asked.

"Kikimora reported that she found the remains of something with the same description features by the Grom tree." Darius replied. "I was wondering if this should be a cause for concern with the approach of The Day of Unity?"

Belos approached the robot frog and leered down at it, while the frog only narrowed its cybernetic eyes at the Emperor.

"What is the meaning of your presence?" Belos asked.

"Classified." The robot asked.

"What are you?" Belos asked.

"Classified."

"I have asked the same questions my liege, he gave us the same answer." Darius informed his emperor. "I don't know about you, but I feel it is controlled."

"By whom?" Belos asked.

"Andrias." The robot replied before projecting a holographic projection of Andrias.

"Hello?!" Andrias exclaimed. "Where am I?! And who am I speaking to?!"

Belos approached the projection. "And you are Andrias?"

"Speaking. Who do I have the pleasure of chatting to?"

"Emperor Belos, Emperor of The Boiling Isles." Belos replied.

"Okay, Emperor Belos." Andrias remarked while flickering for whatever reason. "Listen, do you know where the calamity….Hold on, am I flickering on your end?" Belos nodded his head in response. The king of Amphibia looked down and saw that Darius, being amazed by the technology was touching the projection which was causing the newt king to flicker. "Hey! Quit touching me! Do you have any idea how annoying that is?!"

"Apologies." Darius responded before pulling his hand back.

"Why should I give you the calamity box?" Belos asked.

"How do you know I want the calamity box? I could be wanting a calamity flute. But in all seriousness, I want the box for myself. I need it."

"You and what army?" Belos asked.

"General Yunan and the remnants of my army that have arrived here. Whatever forces you have to gain the box, won't be enough. My army will destroy your forces."

"We will see about that." Belos responded. "Your general and their army don't know what they have in store."

"Very well. Well, if it's all the same, I wish you luck on gaining my box." Andrias then smiled and winked. "TTYL!" Andrias then disappeared while Belos just gripped on his staff.

"I don't know about you guys, but I kind of liked him." One of the Emperor's guards said.

"Hunter, Malsacc, you will make sure that this General Yunan and their forces don't gain the box by all means." Belos commanded.

"It will be done." Malsacc replied.

"They will not stop us." Hunter said. "Besides, how powerful is an insignificant amphibian?"

At Blight manor, Yunan was keeping Edric and Emira entertained by telling her war stories.

"….then, I smashed my way out of the beast's stomach covered in its guts and blood! Then, I fed that beast's guts to the next beast that got in my way."

Emira and Edric were wowed by her tales of victories that were bloody and glorious.

"Mom, can we keep her?" Emira asked.

"No, we are not keeping her." Odalia replied. "She has a mission she needs to complete for her king."

"Awww!" Edric and Emira groaned.

"Fear not Edric and Emira Blight, I shall return to you once my task is complete." Yunan assured the twins. "And I will tell the stories of how I defeated Sasha Waybright and Captain Grime. Soon I will defeat-" Yunan was then interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door. "Oh frogspawn!"

Odalia opened the door and it was Kikimora holding a huge protective shield over her head and the guards that were accompanying her.

"Kikimora, what brings you here?" Odalia asked.

"I need the expertise of your husband." Kikimora replied.

Then, Alador gently shoved his wife out of his way to know what Kikimora wanted. "What is my bidding Kikimora?"

"I need you to analyse this." Kikimora replied as she motioned to the remains of Andrias' robot. "This was found by the Grom tree. I have no idea what it is and I am hoping your expertise might help."

Alador took the head and started to admire it. It had no eyes and it appeared to have been decapitated by something. "Hmm, I don't know what it is. But I will see what I can do."

"Thank you." Kikimora said while her guards carried the remains into his house. "The Emperor will be most pleased."

"Thank you, bye." Alador said before closing the door on her face.

Kikimora felt insulted but then again, Alador was a busy man. "Well, busy witches have no time for conversations."

Back in the house, Alador was carrying the head to his lab when Yunan approached him.

"Alador, let me look at that head." Yunan requested.

"Of course."

Alador handed the head to Yunan who smiled. "So my army is here as well?"

"Possibly." Alador replied. "This remarkable piece of tech looks like had been destroyed by a clean decapitation.

Yunan leered at the head knowing who could have possibly done this. "So I have an obstacle in my way?"

"Will she be of any trouble for your little box?" Odalia asked. "I could ask my youngest daughter to assist you. But she had to spend time with that wretched girlfriend of her's so I doubt she'll be back once you leave."

"Nonsense Odalia." Yunan replied. "I will not be needing an elf to assist me! I have my army beside me, but thank you. I, General Yunan of the Newtonian army will make sure none will stand in my way! Even if it's a witch, elf, member of the Emperor's Coven, toad, frog, I will gain the box." Yunan then drew her wrist blades. "Because they have one thing that will stand in their way, General Yunan!" Yunan then accidentally sliced a vase.

This act made Odalia narrow her eyes at the newt, which made Yunan freeze in place. "I'll pay for a new one."

Meanwhile, back at the Owl House, Luz was fast asleep as she snuggled up to King while Amity slept with her hand on Luz's face. But Sasha, stared out the window watching as the boiling rain poured.

She sighed as she reminisced about Anne and Marcy.

It was after their performance during their last night in Amphibia after singing No Big Deal and they were about to get some sleep.

"Listen guys, tomorrow's gonna be quite huge." Marcy said. "We might be able to get home."

"Marcy, what if we're separated again?" Sasha asked. "What if, we end up in another world?"

Anne then placed a hand on Sasha's shoulder and smiled. "Hey, we found each other in Amphibia didn't we? If we found each other in Amphibia, then we can find each other anywhere."

"That sounded really sappy." Sasha chortled.

"Yeah I know." Anne said. "Come on, let's get some sleep."

Sasha smiled as she remembered that day. That was probably the best day she had with her friends in Amphibia.

"You might have everyone else here buying your redemption….." Amity said, narrowing her eyes at the human. "…but you and I both know that your last redemption was a sham according to your story. So let me tell you something right now. You make one step backward, one slipup, give me one reason to think you might hurt Luz, and you won't have to worry about your quest home anymore. Because I'll make sure your quest ends right then and there. Permanently!"

Sasha didn't feel threatened by Amity's threat, she only narrowed her eyes back at the witch. "Is that a threat, elf?"

"You know it." Amity replied. "Try and get some sleep. But more importantly, make sure you don't try and kill me."

Amity then got back into her sleeping bag and wrapped her hand around Luz's waist just to make her feel protected from Sasha.

Sasha only narrowed her eyes at Amity as she fell asleep. The human toad general got into her sleeping bag as she started to think about what will come next of her, her friends and her new acquaintances.

Chapter Text

It was morning at the Blight manor, General Yunan had just finished sharpening her wrist blades for today where she intends to go in the mountains to find the calamity box and impress her king and his master.

"I wish you could stay." Emira said as she and her twin watched their favourite guest about to make their leave.

"Your stories are really amazing." Edric groaned sadly.

"Fear not Edric and Emira, once my quest is done, I will return to tell the tale of how I defeated my enemies and returned to my king with the box in hand!" Yunan declared.

"Yes, you must make your leave." Odalia said rather impatiently. "You don't want to disappoint your king."

"I will!" Yunan announced.

"Just a moment…." Alador announced as he exited his laboratory with a wrist device in his hand. "….Yunan, remember how you said that you arrived without your army in sight?"

"Didn't I tell these two the story a thousand times?" Yunan asked.

"Actually, it was two." Edric pointed out.

"But it sure felt like a thousand." Odalia replied.

"Well, I have done something called reverse engineering and I figured out the ins and outs of the mech." Alador explained.

"And you did this all night?" Yunan queried in surprise. "I'm surprised you're not falling to sleep."

"I've been….." Alador yawned. "….Up for more nights. This is just nothing. Anyway, I invented this." Yunan took the device out of Alador's hands and carefully attached it to her wrist. "Now pay attention, this button here calls for your robotic army to whatever location you are in. And I developed this device to emit a signal so the robots know that whoever wears this, know who their leader is."

Yunan was amazed by this man. How could he invent something so impossible with just the parts of one of the robots in his lab?

"My husband is a smart man." Odalia explained.

"Yunan, you need to make sure that no one gets their hands on it." Alador explained. "Or else, they will have your king's army under their control."

"So….this button, right here?" Yunan asked before pushing the yellow button, but she got an electric shock.

"I only added that in case someone was stupid enough to use it." Alador replied.

"But what if someone doesn't push the yellow one?" Yunan asked smugly. "Not so much of a genius now are you?"

Alador looked insulted but due to him being up all night, he could just probably still be tired. "Just….Just….Just push the button."

Yunan pushed the blue button, but nothing happened for about 9 seconds. But after the seconds passed, the sound of metallic clanging was heard before one of them crashed through the ceiling and landed in front of the newt general.

Odalia screamed at the sight of the hole in her ceiling while Yunan just laughed. "Relax, they won't cause any more damage."

But suddenly, another robot smashed through the wall, then another crashed through the window, another through the door, another from underneath the floorboards, another down the chimney, another through the family portrait and another just politely walked down the stairs.

"How many robots are there?" Asked the horrified Odalia.

"Uh…..Around 47." Yunan estimated. "I don't know."

Then, more robots started crashing through the house which caused more and more damage. "I will…..not pay for it. But my master will."

Meanwhile at the Emperor's palace, Hunter was in his bedroom preparing his snow gear and his Golden Guard uniform. His Palisman, Lil' Rascal was tweeting to get their master's attention.

But Hunter quickly shooed him away before he could get anyone's attention. "Go away Lil' Rascal. I don't want anyone finding you."

Just then, Malsacc opened the door and the bird quickly flew under Hunter's bed so he wouldn't be seen. "Did I hear some tweeting?" Malsacc queried.

"Uh…Yeah, that was me." Hunter then made bird noises just to make it look convincing.

Malsacc smiled as he slowly started to approach Hunter. "That is impressive. But…..That's not what the tweeting sounded like and I swore you were telling a lil' rascal to go away." The former golden guard then took off one of his gloves.

Hunter didn't like where this exchange was going and was obviously freaked out. "What are you doing?"

"You ever wonder how I captured many wild witches?" Malsacc lifted his hand, revealing that his thumb looked black. "Well….I was born with a rare condition. You ever hear of the Mind Reading Coven? Well, it was shutdown due to a lack of members so, me and a few others were let go. But….I can just look into your mind and see if you remember anything interesting."

The former Golden Guard grabbed Hunter by the head and placed his thumb on his forehead. As he did that, his pupils dilated as well as Hunter's as he started to read his mind.

After 20 seconds of many flashes that included abuse from his uncle, the day he became the Golden Guard, the truce between him and Luz, the duel between him and Amity and the day he gained his Palisman; Malsacc let go of Hunter and smiled sinisterly. "Oh, you have a little friend? Come here Lil' Rascal."

The Palisman ran out from Hunter's bed and flew up to Malsacc, who had his finger out and flew up to it. "Hmm, I'm surprised a Palisman chose the nephew of one of their obstacles. Do you have any idea how many Palisman he has killed to suck their life-force?" Malsacc smiled. "If I was you Hunter, I'd keep this little guy to yourself. This Palisman might be useful from time to time. But don't use it around the Emperor's soldiers, they might report it. Oh and about that whole business with Kikimora…..She's going to get what's coming to her soon enough, I am sure of it."

Hunter was confused as to why someone who is loyal to the Emperor wouldn't tell him about the Palisman he had in his bedroom. Was he actually nice? Or was there something more?

"You have delivered many Palisman to my uncle, why are you sparing this one?" Hunter asked.

"Hmm, you've done your research." Malsacc remarked. "Well, I suppose it could be because I have disagreements with the Emperor. Or, it could be because since that title was taken away from me by some pathetic scrawny teenager, I decided to rescind my loyalty. But, the Emperor doesn't like disappointment and we will retrieve the box. Whether you make it out alive or not will be decided by the Titan. So, I wish you luck on our quest, you're going to need it."

Hunter tried to look brave, but deep down he was awfully intimidated by him that he felt his fingers shake. No wonder his uncle hired this guy to put him in his place.

Malsacc exited the room where Kikimora was standing beside the door, rubbing her hands together. "Did you put him in his place?"

"I know some dirty secrets of his." Malsacc replied. "Especially one regarding you. If you want to remain on the Emperor's good side, I suggest you do not attempt the life of The Golden Guard!"

Kikimora as well, tried to remain brave but Malsacc knew how to get under people's skin so she was no exception.

"I…I…I…I…"

"I'm a mind reader Kikimora, there is no escape from the truth." Malsacc retorted. "I'll keep this secret between you and I. But attempt the Golden Guard's life again and I will make sure the Emperor petrifies your sneaky little hands."

"Why my hands?" Kikimora asked.

"You work well with your hands, Kikimora. It'd be a shame if I shattered them personally." Malsacc smiled before walking away to get ready for his mission.

Kikimora leered her eyes at the former Golden Guard before leering at Hunter's bedroom. She then departed to deal with something to not waste her time.

Meanwhile at The Owl House, Grime entered the living room where he saw Luz, Amity and Eda eating breakfast together. They were all dressed except for Eda, whom was still in her pyjamas.

"Good morning!" Grime said as he stretched his arms. "So, do we have any flies for breakfast?"

"I do." Hooty replied. "But you need to get in my mouth if you want them. Hoot, hoot."

"Hooty, stop trying to trick Grime into becoming your next meal." Eda demanded.

"Awww!" Hooty groaned.

"And we might have some flies." Eda replied. "Some of the food we have is rather rotten and out of date."

"Where's Sasha?" Grime asked.

"Over here." Sasha replied while walking and sharpening her sword. "So, where's the kitchen again?"

"Down the corridor." Luz replied. "You don't wanna put that down?"

"Nah. I usually do this every morning around breakfast. For preparation and as a warning for people who intend to wrong me." Sasha narrowed her eyes at Amity who narrowed her eyes back at her.

"Are you narrowing your eyes at me?" Eda asked. "Because if you should be narrowing your eyes at anyone, you should be narrowing your eyes at Hooty because he tried to eat Grime again."

"Hey!" Hooty exclaimed. "Snitches get Hooty, Eda!"

"Anyway, better get going for breakfast." Sasha said before walking away while aggressively sharpening her sword.

"So Eda, why aren't you coming along?" Amity asked.

"I'd love to come Boots, but I'm still planning my prison break." Eda replied.

"Eda, Raine's probably gone to a more fortified prison due to betraying the Emperor's Coven." Amity stated. "I mean, Belos might want them petrified."

"No, Belos has something planned for Raine I know it." Eda replied. "So I'm breaking them out. I just need a plan."

King then walked in, gobbling on a bowl of cereal with milk in it. "Hey Luz, Sasha's gone to get breakfast."

"I know." Luz replied. "Why is that of concern?"

"You do realise she's human right?" King asked.

Luckily, Amity was quick and said to her girlfriend, "Luz, she's human. She can't digest most of our stuff."

"Uh oh." Luz responded before hearing the sound of someone throwing up.

Later, Sasha was eating poached griffin eggs since these were one of the few things a human could digest on the Boiling Isles.

"Sorry I forgot to tell you about the food here being rather hard to digest." Luz said. "I learnt that the hard way the first time."

"I'm surprised you haven't gotten skinny." Sasha remarked.

"I'm surprised I haven't had any physical health problems." Luz said.

"Man, this stuff is really good stuff." Sasha said as she chowed down on the eggs. "I feel the protein building up."

"I'm surprised you gained protein just by eating bugs." Eda remarked.

"Actually, bugs are really high in protein." Amity stated.

"Boots, no one likes a smart butt." Eda remarked.

"Yes, no one does." Grime said as he drank some tea. "But the elf is right, bugs are really high in protein."

Amity groaned. "Why does everyone think I'm an elf?!"

"Amity, you are not an elf to me." Luz said. "But honestly, you'd make an awesome elf for my dream couple's cosplay." Luz said, in an effort to comfort her girlfriend. Of course, Luz’s flirting skills caused Amity to blush.

"Well….." Sasha stood up and started stretching. "….I am ready to kick some nuts and bolts to get that box."

"You better have winter clothing." Amity said as she and Luz got up. "Because, we are going to the knee. And also be careful not to slip."

"Funny, I was about to suggest the same thing." Sasha retorted as she narrowed her eyes at Amity, whom was putting on her coat along with Luz.

"Do you want us to get you anything, Sash?" Luz asked.

"Nah. I got used to the cold." Sasha replied.

"Really? Because I heard people from L.A might not be used to cold climates." Luz said. "They might end up frozen."

"Which would make betraying us a lot harder." Amity muttered.

"I am not going in winter clothing." Sasha said.

"And I'm not going!" Grime declared.

"What? Why?" Sasha asked. "Did you see this nice house and decide you want to live in it?"

"Well, apart from that owl giving me the hungry eyes…." Grime pointed to Hooty, whom was drooling on Amity's shoulder.

"Hooty!" Amity yelled.

"I'm a toad, cold climates aren't my strong point." Grime informed them. I remember the last time I dealt with the cold, I was frozen in a literal block of ice."

"Well, enjoy your lazy day Grime." Sasha said.

"Thanks Sash." Grime replied. "Good luck getting the box and not betraying anyone!"

Sasha sighed as she, Luz and Amity exited The Owl House to get on their quest.

Grime just jumped on the couch to watch something on the orb. "Ah! Do you by any chance have Suspicion Island in this world?"

"Huh?" Eda responded.

"Suspicion Island? Do you have Suspicion Island?"

"We have an island called Suspicious Island." Eda replied.

"No! I mean Suspicion Island! The show has an engaging mystery. So many twists and turns; So many betrayals and redemption arcs. I swear most of the events are similar in my life."

"Look, as much as I want to talk about a TV show, I can't." Eda responded.

"Why not?"

"She's planning a prison break." King informed him.

"Oh yeah." Grime realised. "How goes it?"

"That prison is really fortified." Eda replied. "The guards are countless and one out of the two morons guarding the place really wants to date me."

"Woah! You must be popular!" Grime exclaimed.

Eda chuckled. "Yeah, you should have seen my wanted poster when I had my powers. That was a whole lot of zeroes."

"I say." Grime retorted. "Hey, since I have nothing to do, how about I help break your lover out?"

Eda sighed. "We are not lovers. I mean, we were but that was all in the past. It ended…..due to my curse. I hate remembering it." Eda moved her head down as she looked at the floor.

Grime placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "So…Were you the dumper or were they the dumper?"

"Wow! He makes Hooty look masterful at comfort." King sarcastically remarked at his comfort skills.

"Thank you!" Hooty exclaimed.

"And why do you wanna help?" Eda asked, despite being hurt by his comment. "Have you ever been in a prison?"

"No." Grime replied. "Okay, I accidentally locked myself in one of my prison cells but that was me being rather stupid. I drank a lot of really strange berries that night."

"Do you even have a plan?" Eda asked. “You have never even been to the Conformatorium.”

Grime smiled sinisterly. "You said that the warden has the hots for you, right?"

Eda froze. "Oh no! You're not suggesting what I think you're suggesting, right?"

"I was suggesting to bring him out for a date and stand him up." Grime laughed. "It will be very humiliating for him!"

King and Eda gave the captain a very deadpan expression, not really impressed with his little prank. "That seems more like a very mean prank.” King said. 

Eda smiled. “But…A date with Warden Wrath….Might….Actually….Work.”

At Conformatorium, Darius and Warden Wrath were walking along the corridor discussing the prisoners. As they walked, the warden was drinking a carton of apple blood.

"How are our prisoners?" Darius asked.

"They aren't doing well." Warden Wrath replied. "But to be more specific, they aren't doing well around me. Shame Warden Envy is nothing like me."

"How well armed is the Conformatorium?" Darius asked.

"Well….It's armed, but….Not as armed as the Cleanatorium." Wrath replied. "Which is just a rip off of the Conformatorium yet somehow better! Uh….I hate my sister sometimes."

"Do not worry, Warden Wrath." Darius assured him. "No prisoners will escape this time."

"If you intend to betray me like Raine betrayed you…" Wrath then pulled out a collar. "…..then this will cancel your newfound Abomination powers."

"I understand." Darius said. "But I assure you two things, I will not betray you and being trapped in a dungeon of rats would be a worse punishment. Rats are filthy creatures that chew your nails and toes. I couldn't think of anything else worse than that."

"You are a weird fellow, Darius." Wrath remarked as they stopped at his office. "Do you think the Owl Lady will show?"

Darius grinned. "With her past connections with Raine, I am confident."

"Good." Wrath replied. "Now, do not come into my office for three hours. It's Wrath time!" The warden shut the door on Darius who just grinned with confidence.

"I know you will come Owl Lady, I know you will come." Then, he heard a squeaking noise and saw that a rat was on his cape that was drenched in a dirty puddle. "Uh!" The head of the Abomination Coven pulled his cape away. "Why did Belos send me to this area? He knows I hate germs."

Inside Wrath's office, the warden was sitting on his chair, caressing a wooden figurine of Eda the Owl Lady while looking at portrait of her original wanted poster in front of him.

"Oh Eda…." Wrath sighed. "…..when will you understand how perfect we are for each other?"

Outside the prison, after having his cape cleaned, Darius was watching from the balcony for any sign of the Owl Lady but so far, outside the prison walls, there was nobody.

"Uh….I could be having some well earned me time right now." Darius groaned.

After a couple of more minutes, he noticed that Eda, wearing a cleaner looking version of her maroon dress, was approaching the prison with a dinner table under her arm. This sight made the witch rub his eyes at the confusion.

"Uh…."

"Warden Wrath!" Eda shouted. "I give in!"

Darius smiled. "At least she's handing herself in. And she's handing a stolen table back in for good measure."

"You have won, Wrath!" Eda yelled as she walked through the gates and into the courtyard where the guards aimed their staffs just in case she was planning something nefarious.

"No guards, let her esteem crumble." Darius requested.

"Warden Wrath, I will gladly go out with you!"

"Yes, she will go out with the warden of…" It was at this point Darius froze when the realisation kicked in. "….wait, what?"

Just then, Warden Wrath, wearing a bow tie, burst down the door and excitedly ran towards the Owl Lady. "You really mean it?!"

"Yeah, I've been single long enough." Eda replied. "And there's no way Raine's getting back together with me so I was like 'Why not?' I mean, you are the only person who has made the attempt to ask me out instead of flirting with me."

Wrath started blushing under the mask. "Ohhhh, stop."

Darius was confused by this that no words could escape his mouth. "Uh….."

"Hey Darius!" Eda yelled. "Sorry about what happened to us before! Hey, no hard feelings, right?"

Darius was not at all convinced. "Is this some sort of joke?!" Darius exclaimed.

"No joke." Eda replied. "Have you checked my relationship status?"

But Darius was still unsure of what to think about this. Firstly; Eda handing herself in just to go on a date with this guy and secondly; Warden Wrath being attracted to the former most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles.

"Eda, I am so glad you have finally accepted me as your true love." Warden Wrath said. "I don't care if you lost your powers, you are still hot to me."

"Hey, if you two are an item, can I have a shot at your sister?" One of the guards asked.

"Can it Steve!" Warden Wrath demanded. "Is there anything I can do for you my sweet?"

"Well, I found this table and I said to myself 'Hey, why don't I use this for mine and the warden's first date?'

The warden gasped happily that tears were forming from his eyes. "Oh Eda, you have made me the happiest warden! Guards, prepare the date! Get me chairs, make a delicious three course dinner and find some beautiful flowers for the prettiest witch on the Boiling Isles!"

He was about to lead Eda into the prison, but she stopped him by the wrist. "Hey, how about we have the lady decide? I say the courtyard's more atmospheric."

The warden briefly glanced around the area and nodded his head in agreement. "Oh yeah, this is definitely a more atmospheric location." He then noticed his guards were still standing around. "What are you guys waiting for?! Go!"

While Wrath was of course excited, Darius was feeling really skeptical about all this. Why would Eda go on a date with this fool?

In the back entrance however, two of the guards were panicking since they had no idea what to do in this situation.

"What do we do?!"

"I don't know! The Warden has never asked for anything like this!"

"Should we just get the chairs?"

"No, that's Thulsa's job! Oh man, this could be our doom!"

"How about you two get knocked out?" Asked a new voice.

"I don't know if that will work." The guard then shook his head. "When did you speak with a deep voice?"

"That wasn't me."

They turned around and saw the face of a terrifying looking amphibian. "Boo."

Instead of being terrified, they just stared at him with confusion. "Uh….Did we have a size coven?"

"Or a coven that can make animals talk and become more self aware?"

Grime was surprised by the reaction of these two bumbling fools and then he sighed. "This is not the usual reaction I'd get."

"Well, what reaction would you like?"

"The kind of reaction you make when I smash your heads together, knocking you out in the process." Grime then grabbed their heads and smashed them together, causing the two to be knocked out.

King then crawled underneath a hole big enough for him to fit with Owlbert in his hand and laughed at the sight of the guards. "Hey, do you wanna draw on their masks?"

"Did you bring a pen?" Grime asked.

"No."

"Then we can't draw on their masks." Grime then picked up the unconscious bodies and placed them in a position to make it look like they were sleeping.

King and Grime then approached the tower and looked up. They saw that there was an open window that was big enough for Grime and King to fit in.

Eda's Palisman, Owlbert, looked at Grime and shook his head.

"I know I'm too heavy for you so…." Grime then handed the Palisman to King and started to climb the tower with his bare hands.

King hopped on the Palisman and Owlbert started floating upwards, slowly and carefully while the demon was looking just to make sure no guards could see them.

The climb to the tower was rather slow for someone of Grime's strength and the bricks were rather cold and slippery, but he managed to keep himself on.

"I don't know why that owl didn't wish to carry me." Grime complained. "I am not that big. I've really trimmed down."

"Owlbert doesn't thing you’re fat, he thinks you're heavy." King said.

Once they got to the window, King jumped from Owlbert and though the window and Grime climbed through.

But it turns out the tower was a rather nice looking bathroom. The carpet was colourful, there was hand sanitiser everywhere, a whole bunch of towels, a nice looking mirror, some hair brushes and a keep out sign on the door in front of them.

"Shouldn't the keep out sign be outside?" King asked.

"What is this?" Grime queried. "This is probably the nicest looking bathroom I have ever seen."

"I think it's a private bathroom." King theorised.

Grime then smiled sinisterly. "Private bathroom eh?"

A few minutes later, Grime and King exited the bathroom. The demon was coughing while the toad was whistling.

"What did you even eat?" King asked.

"Food." Grime replied nonchalantly. He looked back at the door and saw that there was a keep out sign on it as well. "I guess the one inside is for someone who would climb through the window."

"Yeah, I can see why." King retorted while covering his nose.

Meanwhile with Eda, she was having dragon meat with griffin eggs on the side with her date, Warden Wrath. "So, how are things?"

"You mean with the relationship between me and my sister or the Conformatorium?" Wrath asked.

"Whatever you want to talk about the most." Eda replied.

"I wanna talk about my sister the most." Wrath grumbled. "Warden Envy. I hate her!"

"Uh….How about what's going on at the Conformatorium?" Eda suggested.

"Very well." Wrath replied. "Since you went out of your way to accept my proposal, I will. For one, Darius showed up today due to an army of metal frogs showing up and the fact there could be more creatures. Like another human and a walking talking frog."

"Yeah, haven't seen any of them apart from my human." Eda lied. "If I did I'd probably keep them in my house for the night and lie about it to you."

"Ha! Glad you aren't." Wrath said as he lifted up his mask and drank some apple blood.

"So, how's Raine and the other BAT losers?" Eda asked. "Raine especially. They and I used to be an item."

"Oh, that interesting prisoner." Warden Wrath chuckled. "They were so confident that you'd rescue them that they….Wait, Darius!"

Darius sighed. "What?!"

"Do you have your scroll on you?!"

"Always."

"Livestream this date on Penstagram and make sure Envy gets this so she knows what it's like to be single." Warden Wrath requested.

"At least she's single and proud." Darius muttered as he pulled his scroll out.

"What?!"

"Livestream is ready." Darius replied as he started filming but his scroll started buffering. "Wait! Trouble connecting! Just give it a few minutes."

Meanwhile, Grime and King were sneaking down the corridor to find Raine. They walked passed a few more toilet stalls but nothing so far.

"There's gotta be more than toilets." King grumbled.

"Shame I can't clog all of them." Grime said. "But destroying them would be fun."

"Okay, what is it with you and your adolescent tricks?" King asked. "For a captain, you're being very childish."

Grime sighed. "I just wanted to lighten up a bit. The war between Andrias, my toad army, Wartwood and I has been rather tiresome and intense. I just wanted to lighten things up by having a bit of fun."

"How bad is the war?" King asked.

"Surprisingly, no amphibian casualties just the robot ones." Grime replied. "But the only one who will die will be Andrias. Once I get my hands on him, I will smash his face with my warhammer! Leaving him as blood, brain and teeth." Grime smiled rather viciously and it made King rather excited.

"Woah! That sounds intense. Can I be there when that happens?" King asked.

"Of course my little new acquaintance." Grime replied.

They soon stopped at a door marked the warden's office and both smiled sinisterly. "Hey, the warden's office."

"Let's go in!" Grime declared before kicking the door down to discover the most disturbing sight. "Uh….."

King looked inside and froze as well. "Oh…..My…..Titan."

What they saw was Wrath's serial killer style obsession with Eda. There were her wanted posters of her and King, detailed drawings of her both in her regular form and Owl beast form. Some wood carvings and some potions marked 'Love potions.'

The mere sight of the office made Grime and King quite freaked out that the demon even started shedding some tears.

"Oh my…..What is this place?" Grime asked.

King then jumped on his desk and started looking at a photo of him and his son, Braxas. "Well, at least we found a picture of something healthy in his office. He looks like a healthy kid despite the fact I terrified him one time."

"This office is hideous." Grime reacted. "What kind of sick individual would have this obsession take over?! Uh, I'm just going to be taking something so…" Grime then snatched the collar from Wrath's desk. "….I'm stealing this collar. How about you?"

King was pouring all the love potions out the window so Wrath wouldn't use them on his adopted mother. "Getting rid of these."

Back outside, Eda and Wrath were now eating some fried griffin with blue sauce on the side. "So, sorry about this, Edalyn." Wrath apologised.

"No, we don't need to bad mouth Raine Whispers." Eda assured him.

"Nonsense." Wrath responded. "Darius has just finished setting up."

On the balcony, Darius started begrudgingly filming the ordeal by live-streaming. "I can't believe I'm doing this. I don’t need to indulge in this childish grudge. Okay, we're rolling!"

"So, shall I start or you start?" Wrath asked.

"Uh….I think it'd be easier if you start." Eda replied. "For me anyway."

"Ah, saving the best till last I see." Wrath remarked. "Very well, Edalyn, I will. Okay…..Uh….Something negative. Hmmm, negative, negative. What can I say about them? Except they're really nerdy and the Bard Coven is the lamest coven in existence. I mean, musical instruments are not weapons. What, are people just going to run away from a trombone?"

Eda pretended to laugh at this just to keep him distracted. "Good one, Wrath."

"Thank you beloved." Wrath responded while drinking some more apple blood. "Now you're turn as you are their ex."

Eda didn't wish to say anything bad about Raine but she knew she had to keep the warden distracted for Grime and King to succeed. "Okay Eda, you can do this. What I hate about that pathetic loser? Ha, oh where do I start? Firstly, they're sensitive about everything. Can't even take a joke most of the time. Also, the whole Bard Coven thing is just a stupid idea. I mean, musical instruments are musical instruments, they don't need to be weaponised. And also….They don't even know personal space as they try everything to help me even though I assured them I was fine. But in all honesty, I wasn't fine and I didn't want them to get hurt. I should have scared them off if that was the case." It was at this moment, Eda started thinking of their breakup. A day she despises to remember. "I remember when they dumped me."

"Ha, who would wanna dump you?" Wrath asked. "You’re absolutely awesome."

"They only dumped me because of me refusing help." Eda replied. "And honestly, I had the right to refuse help despite the fact that I didn't know how to control my curse. But sometimes, I wonder if I accepted their help, will things have gone smoother? Would me and them be happy? Would I still meet King? Will we be married? Will it be Eda Whispers? Or will it be Raine Clawthorne? Would we still be together without marriage? Oh, the possibilities are just endless? But I threw them away because of my stupidity!" It was at this moment, Eda then burst into tears and started crying her eyes out.

The mere sight of this only made Wrath stare at her, unsure of what to do while Darius just stopped streaming since he was sick of seeing this date. "Uhhhh, I'm going to the bathroom."

The head of the Abomination Coven quickly walked away before he could witness anymore awkwardness or another cringe fest.

The warden on the other hand, just had no idea how to comfort the Owl Lady but he was going to try. He got off his seat and started patting Eda on the back gently. "There, there. There, there. Let it all out."

Meanwhile, Grime and King had finally made it to the prison cells where there were no prisoners besides just a few, with one of them looking familiar to King. That's because they were BAT members, Katya, Amber and Derwin.

"Wait, I think I know one of them." King said.

"Wait, which one is Raine?" Grime asked as he approached the cell that had BAT members. "You there, do any of you happen to be Raine Whispers?"

The BAT members stared at the toad captain in confusion, unsure of how to react to this.

"Great, I've lost my mind." Derwin groaned. "I'm seeing giant walking, talking, frogs."

"No, I think we're going crazy together." Amber replied.

"You two, we can't be hallucinating the same thing, it is clearly impossible." Katya informed them as she approached the bars that confined them. "Because I am seeing a walking, talking, frog."

"I'm a toad." Grime replied. "But it's alright, us frogs and toads get mistaken for one another all the time."

"Hey, food girl." King greeted Katya. "How's it hanging?"

The mere sight of King made Katya smile. "Hey there little guy, how are you?"

"Found my horn and waiting for my dad find me." King replied.

"Aww! Well, I'm stuck in here with these two. And have been for one month." Katya replied.

"By the way, are any one of you Raine Whispers?" Grime asked.

"Neither of us." Amber replied. "They were transferred to another cell just last week."

"We theorise solitary confinement." Derwin replied. "I hope they're doing well."

"They were put in solitary confinement, of course they aren't." Grime retorted.

"And why are you here to rescue us?" Katya asked Grime. "Besides the dog, I don't know why you're here."

"Look, I'm Eda's new acquaintance." Grime replied. "She's outside right now, distracting the warden."

"Eda's here?!" Amber pushed Katya aside getting energetic. "Has she mentioned me by any chance?! Has she said I was her favourite BAT member?!"

"Uh…..I don't know your name, so no." Grime replied.

"Is it the same as last time?" King asked Katya nonchalantly.

Katya pushed Amber aside. "Yeah. Just pull the lever. Which you can't exactly pull because it is absolutely-" Grime then interrupted Katya, by pulling the lever with all his might. Making all the cell doors open wide.

The BAT members were amazed by what Grime did. I mean, how could he have pulled a lever that strong?

"What?" Grime asked.

"You….Just pulled that lever." Amber replied.

"Yes! By using my strong toad arms." Grime bragged.

The BAT members were still gobsmacked by what had happened which Grime was obviously confused by.

"Okay, seriously, what is the big deal?"

"The last person who tried to rescue me couldn't use that lever." Katya replied. "And she was human."

"You mean Luz?" Grime asked with surprise. "She couldn't pull something this light?! My human has more slender arms than her and she could pull that lever without breaking a sweat."

"So…..Are we going to escape?" King asked. "Wrath might be on their way."

"But, do you know where the exit is?" Grime asked.

"Oh yeah, I helped Katya over here escape once." King replied. "Follow me."

"You are not going anywhere!" Darius interjected as he walked through the door and to the prison cells. "Because you filthy degenerates are going to….." Darius stopped talking once he saw Grime who just gave him a wave. "….Uh….Ignoring the toad in the room, I want an explanation into who clogged my private bathroom?!"

"Oh come on!" Grime exclaimed. "It was more of a private toilet!"

Darius gagged. "You disgust me, you disgusting toad."

"You kids better get going." Grime demanded as he cracked his knuckles. "I'll handle this germaphobe."

"Okay." Katya responded before she, King and the other BAT members started running downstairs.

"Wait, where are you going?!" Grime asked angrily.

"Getting our stuff." Derwin replied. "You think we can handle him?"

"Yeah, and didn't you say you had this?" King asked.

"You were supposed to say…..Oh forget it!" Grime then started charging at Darius, intent on punching him. But the Abomination witch quickly dodged his punch and retaliated by kneeing him in the stomach.

Then Grime jumped up and head butted him in the chin and then jumped down to punch him in the stomach while the BATs ran off to retrieve their weapon. But King decided to stick around to help Grime since he realised he could be of assistance.

"Actually, I'll stick around, you move on." King said.

"Okay, good luck." Katya responded. "He's quite powerful."

King then smiled. "Not as powerful as me."

Grime and Darius continued their duel, deflecting each other's punches. "For a toad, your skills are quite quaint." Darius remarked.

"And for a germaphobe, you are willing to throw down with a toad." Grime retorted.

"Let's say, I'm trying to face my fears." Darius said. "And you're one of the things I need to help me to conquer them." Darius then performed a powerful punch that made Grime fly across the room.

King then ran in front of the Abomination witch and used his powerful scream to shoot Darius across the room. The witch crashed into a wall, causing some of the bricks to fall on top of him.

Grime was of course amazed by the powers that King had displayed. "Woah! Be careful not to scream when watching Suspicion Island. A lot of the twists are quite shocking."

Darius stood back up and snarled in anger as he wiped the dirt off his shoulder. "Oh, it's like that?"

"Yeah! Try and stop me!" King yelled, challenging the witch.

Darius then smirked. "Just wait until you see how powerful I truly am." The witch then turned into his Abomination form causing King and Grime to freeze in terror.

Darius then started slithering towards the two in an attempt to capture them. King performed another powerful scream that made Darius freeze in place due to the scream being similar to a typhoon.

Grime then picked up King and ran towards a door to try and escape the wrath of the witch, who started chasing them.

"You never told me that he could turn into goo!" Grime yelled.

"I didn't know!" King screamed. "Eda should have told me!"

Meanwhile, Eda had just finished crying her eyes out and was now wiping away some of her tears away with a napkin that Wrath had lent her.

"Are you feeling better?" Wrath asked.

"I'm sorry Wrath." Eda apologised. "I just…..I just lost myself."

"Hey, bad breakups do that." Wrath assured her. "I mean, you should have seen what happened to me when me and my wife divorced. I was in such a wreck that I didn't care that there was a breakout."

"Wow, I should have been there." Eda remarked.

"Yeah, it was quite cool and elaborate I must admit." Wrath said. "Besides, she now has full custody of my son which sucks. Because, I did love her before I met you. I just felt so lost without her."

"You, lost without her?" Eda laughed. "Come on Wrath, you run one of the most intimidating prisons in the demon realm and you still have a son."

"Thanks." Wrath responded. "And look at you yourself. You have a human for an adopted daughter and a pet who you've raised like a son. If you ask me, I say you have done well for yourself."

"I guess our breakups have lead to great things in the aftermath." Eda remarked. "Wouldn't you think?"

"I agree." Wrath replied. "Hmm, this date is going well I must say."

"Yeah, it is." Eda agreed. "I am glad about a lot of things about this date. Including talking to someone who isn't a bad guy in person and understands me."

"And I'm glad you agreed to date me, Edalyn." Wrath said. "I mean, this date is going well…..suspiciously well."

Eda froze, realising that Wrath might be on to something. "Uh…..What's wrong? Didn't you want this to go well?"

"You have turned me down multiple times, why today of all days?" Wrath asked.

"Just felt like the right time, ya know?" Eda, now sweating buckets, replied.

"But this is the same prison where your ex lover resigns in deep solidarity confinement since they tried to stand up to me and my necessary wrath. It's like, you're trying to distract me with something I've always wanted!"

"Uh…." Was all Eda could muster up to say.

"Why are you actually here, Edalyn?" Wrath asked angrily as he pushed the table aside. "Why?!"

Eda sighed. "Okay, you got me. I was distracting you. But me breaking down was not part of the plan."

"So, all those positive comments about me were lies?!" Wrath angrily asked.

"Hey, I've seen your son about and he is surprisingly a healthy kid despite the fact his dad has an unhealthy obsession with me." Eda replied. "And also, the Conformatorium isn't intimidating. The Cleanatorium is scarier."

Wrath clenched his fists. "Take…..That…..Back."

"No thanks." Eda said.

"Guards!" Wrath called and an army of guards arrive and aimed their staffs at the Owl lady, who raised her hands as a response.

"You got me." Eda sighed while smiling.

"Don't lie me to Clawthorne, who is inside my prison trying to free your ex and their soldiers?"

"Oh that's easy." Eda replied. "Your son, ex wife and your dad."

"That's obviously a lie, my father never met me!" Wrath yelled. "Very well, take her to my office! I mean, her cell! Her cell!"

Eda chuckled. "Big mistake. Okay buddy. Wings!" It was at that moment, Eda turned into Harpy Eda, making her debut in front of Wrath and the Emperor's soldiers.

The mere sight of Harpy Eda caused the guards to lower their staffs and Wrath was wide eyed in surprise. "Woah Titan! Dang Eda that form is….Wooo! That is hot! Arrest her though!"

"Big mistake, pal." Eda then started flying while many of the guards tried using their magic to shoot her down.

She dived down and grabbed some of the guards by their capes and threw them against the wall. She then dived to one of the soldiers and tackled them and punched him in the face.

They then tried their next effort, ropes. They managed to lasso a couple of ropes around Eda's wrists, but she flew upwards, dragging the guards up with her.

"Hey guys, hope you have a safe landing." She then used her claws to slice the ropes on each of her wrists, causing the guards to fall and land with aggressive thuds.

"I think I broke something." The guard groaned in pain.

Eda landed on her feet and saw that Warden Wrath was still standing in place, admiring Eda's harpy form.

"Quit staring at me like that!" Eda demanded.

Wrath then shook his head and brought himself back to reality. "Oh, sorry. Uh…..This is what happens for knocking out my guards!" Wrath removed his mask to reveal his mouth-like face and started to breathe fire, that Eda avoided.

"Darius! Darius!" Wrath shouted. "How long does it take for Darius to be done in the toilet?!"

Meanwhile, Darius was still busy chasing Grime and King through the prison, with the demon screaming at him just to slow him down. While it did work, it proved quite futile since he just kept speeding up again.

"You should have brought your warhammer." Said an exhausted King.

"I would but this is a stealth breakout not a loud breakout!" Grime retorted.

They then ran into a room to what appeared to be the mess hall where a bunch of the guards had their staffs aimed at them. Grime turned around but his exit was blocked by Darius who smirked smugly.

"Okay, I'm starting to think I should have brought my warhammer." Grime said. "Can you still scream?"

"I can't." King replied as he was about to get sleepy eyed. "I'm exhausted."

"Well, looks like your escape plan might have succeeded with them, but you are another story." Darius remarked.

"I will burn you before I become your prisoner." Grime said as he narrowed his eyes at Darius. "And by the way, if you could have done that goons thing from the beginning, why didn't you when we started fighting? I mean, the hand to hand combat was fun but in hindsight, it seems unnecessary when you can do that."

"I thought it would have been easy and it would have been unnecessary, but then your dog had to bark." Darius replied.

"When I get out, you will be the first person I'll go after." Grime threatened the witch. "And I'll do it by giving you a wet willy."

"And you'll be toad legs for my lunch if that happens." Darius clapped back.

"If you try to turn me to food, I'll steal your cape, lick it and return it."

"If you lay any of your slime on my cape, I will tear out your good eye."

"If you tear out my good eye, then I will replace your soap in your soap dispenser with my slime!"

"If you do that then….Enough of this childish back and forth!" Darius demanded. "Guards! Take them away!"

"Uh…King!" Grime called as he cracked his knuckles. "You better be up, I can use some assistance."

"I am but I'm still exhausted." King replied.

But when all hope seemed lost, the sound of a recorder, a tambourine and a bassoon being played at the same time.

The sound of the instruments caused the guards to lower their weapons as they tried to trace the sound. Darius however, managed to look over his soldiers and saw Katya with her tambourine, Amber with her recorder and Derwin with his bassoon.

They used their Bard magic to shove the guards aside and to shoot Darius across the room with a very powerful blast.

"Go!" Katya yelled. "We'll follow!"

Grime and King nodded their heads and started running towards the exit. Once they made it out of the prison, they saw that Warden Wrath was breathing fire as he tried to shoot Eda out of the sky.

Then Eda punched Wrath in the face causing him to get frustrated. "Why did you have to do that?!"

When Grime saw Eda in her harpy mode, he was drooling and blushing all at the same time at the sight. "Oh…My."

"Hey, stop ogling at my adopted mom." King demanded.

Eda then stopped to acknowledge Grime and King until she suddenly got knocked out of the sky by one of Wrath's hands.

"Eda!" King yelled.

Just then, there was a hooting sound and Grime looked upwards and smiled. "Here we go." He could see Owlbert managing to carry a distinct weapon that Grime loves.

Eda quickly recovered from the hard hit and looked up to see Wrath ready to burn her for hurting him like that. "You will burn you. Maybe you'll be a juicy cooked bird for me and my son to feast on. Since it's mine and his weekend."

Before the powerful warden could do that, he was knocked out with a powerful hit by Grime and his trusty warhammer. Causing him to fall on the ground with a powerfully tremendous thud that shook the ground.

"Okay, I have many questions." Grime said to Eda. "What…..Is that hot look?"

"Oh, harpy mode." Eda replied. "I gained this very hot upgrade when me and the owl beast inside of me finally accepted each other."

Grime just froze trying to understand what Eda said. "That's nice. Getting in touch with yourself is very healthy."

"Where's Raine?" Eda asked. "You did rescue them?"

"We couldn't get to solitary confinement." King replied while leering at Grime. "Because someone decided to clog Darius' toilet."

Instead of being angry, Eda just laughed. "You clogged Darius' toilet?"

"Yes."

"That's disgustingly fitting." Eda laughed. "Where were you when I needed you?"

Just then, Katya, Derwin and Amber ran out but they stopped once they saw Harpy Eda.

"Eda?" Amber reacted.

"Oh that's right, them three don't know." Eda said. "Look kids it's a long story so be amazed and blush all you want. Where is Raine?"

"We couldn't find them." Katya replied. "We checked every cell in solitary and nothing. They're not there."

"I even double checked." Derwin informed Eda. "Nothing."

"Then….Raine escaped?" Eda asked.

"No sign of escape as well." Amber informed Eda. "The only thing of them we found was what looked like a violin."

"I don't think it was their's though." Kataya said.

Eda then turned to Grime and King. "You two better have found something that better help."

"No." King replied. "But I discovered a new disgusting smell."

"I don't know what smell he discovered by I found this collar." Grime handed Eda the collar who started to analyse it.

"Wait, this is a power cancelling collar." Eda said. "This was specifically made to de-power those with abomination powers. I haven't seen them since they were outlawed."

Just then, the noise of someone screaming in anger was heard. "Aaaahhhhh! I will get you!" The voice of Darius screamed from the entrance.

"Did you forget about him?" Eda asked.

"Well, let's say that….." Katya then motioned to Eda. "…might have made me lose focus."

"Dang right." Grime responded while offering Katya a fist bump that she didn't return. "Oh, was I doing this wrong?"

"We can't stop him." King said. "He's too powerful. Not even my screams can stop him. They can only slow him down."

Eda then looked at the collar, Grime, the Bards, King and then the incoming Darius; Quickly formulating a plan. "Okay guys, I have a plan."

Meanwhile, Darius, still in his abomination form, was closing in on them. "You will not escape me this time!" He exclaimed. "You will not escape me!"

Once he made it to the courtyard he was stopped by King delivering a powerful sonic scream and the BAT members playing their instruments, causing him to be frozen in place.

Then King stopped screaming so he wouldn't shoot Eda backwards or leave her frozen in place. But mainly it was so she could quickly fly up to Darius' neck and placed the collar around his neck. This caused him to revert back to his regular form before Grime punched him in the face, knocking him out.

"Teamwork!" Grime exclaimed happily.

Later, after tying warden and the member of the Emperor's Coven, Eda, Grime and King decide to say goodbye to the BAT members, who were all disappointed.

"Eda, why don't you want us to help?" Katya asked. "Raine's our leader, haven't you forgotten?"

"Listen kids, I know you want to help but you are escaped fugitives so you need to lay low until the time is right." Eda said. "So, just take it from the biggest criminal on the Boiling Isles for years."

"Where will we go?" Amber asked.

"Go to the Owl House." Eda replied. "I know my house demon may not look like he's powerful, but he got my adopted daughter and her girlfriend together and has defended me against the Emperor's forces many times so don't underestimate him."

"We will do as you request Eda." Derwin responded. "And we hope you find Raine. You and your son and…toad."

"Good luck." Katya replied before she and the rest of the BATS a departed to go into hiding.

Once the BAT members left, Darius had reawakened from his nap where he was greeted by Grime smiling sinisterly at him.

"Hello, germaphobe." Grime greeted the witch.

"Uh…" Darius looked that he was tied up and realised that the collar that Wrath had showed him earlier was on his neck, meaning there was no escape.

Eda then stomped towards Darius and narrowed her eyes at him. "Okay Darius, talk."

"Your…..form is rather…..well….." Darius then whistled.

"Well, that's the first positive compliment I got from a Coven member." Eda remarked. "Okay Darius, where is Raine?! They are not here!"

"You're correct." Darius replied. "Raine isn't here. They were never transferred to solitary in the first place. But I'll never tell you where they were transferred."

"Well, looks like we have to resort to torture." King said as he cracked his fingers. "So, are we breaking his fingers? Please let us break his fingers."

"Or…" Grime smiled sinisterly. "I did make a promise to him earlier." The toad captain then stuck his finger in his mouth and started moving it towards Darius.

Darius knew what Grime was about to do and started to struggle. "No! No! No! No! No! Don't!" The witch pleaded. "Anything but a wet willy! No!"

But Darius pleas were ignored as Grime's finger only got closer to his ear. "You can avoid it."

Eda smiled at Grime's thinking while King was holding his laughter. "Eda, can we keep him?"

"I hope so." Eda replied.

"Okay! Okay! Okay! I'll talk!" Darius said.

Grime stopped but he did wipe his drool covered finger on Darius' cloak, which disgusted him.

"You're lucky it wasn't in the ear." Grime said as he moved back.

"Raine is at the one place where no one can escape." Darius replied. "They are at the Cleanatorium."

The mere mention of the Cleanatorium made Wrath shot up from his unconscious state. "Why did you mention something to do with my sister?! She means nothing to me!"

"Uh oh, time to go." Eda said as she picked up Grime and King and taking off back to the Owl House.

"Why?! Why?! Why?!"

"Thanks for the date Wrath!" Eda yelled.

"You're welcome even though you betrayed me!" Wrath yelled back. "Even though you don't mean it!"

"I meant it! Really!"

Wrath then turned to face Darius while narrowing his eyes at him. "Why my sister?"

"Give it a break Wrath." Darius sighed.

Chapter Text

"We now return to Cleanse and Reform with Warden Envy."

On the screen, was someone who looked like Warden Wrath but was only green, a little skinnier, shorter and looking more positively upbeat sitting in front of their desk.

"Hi, I'm Warden Envy. For those who don't know, I am the Warden of the Cleanatorium which is definitely not a rip off of the Conformatorium as my brother likes to proclaim." Warden Envy said. "When I was born, I was more like the runt of the litter of the family. While my 3 brothers and 3 sisters were born with muscles, I was not. But, I wasn't outcasted by my family. They supported me and I did well in school. Heck, I was one of the few people to get in good with Odalia Blight, the most popular mean girl. Though, as you can see from these photos, I tend to either be in the background or just cropped out or not there at all. Unlike most students who wanted to be a member of The Emperor's Coven, I wanted to be a warden. I had many ups and downs since people just thought I didn't look wrathful or stern enough to run a prison compared to my brother, but I proved them wrong by using my ultimate trait, psychological torture. Whereas my brother Wrath runs his own prison, Lust runs a small business for love potions, Gluttony runs a buffet, Greed is Alador Blight’s lawyer, Pride is an actor and Sloth is an influencer. So ya know, Sloth barley does anything. As for me, for the last 9 years, I have been running the most intimidating prison on The Boiling Isles, made specifically for the worst witches. And I'm glad my family supports me, besides Wrath who didn't like how intelligent I was. I mean, he has an obsession with some hot lady who looks like someone's grandma if you ask me."

The people who were watching the show on the crystal ball, were Grime and King, whom were sitting on a boat that Eda was rowing, whom had rolled her eyes at being compared to an old lady. "Yeah, at least I don't look like a fist with teeth."

"Yeah, at least you're related to someone who I actually like." King retorted.

"And at least you're…..you're….you're….you're…..I…don’t know, does she play any instruments well?" Grime asked.

"Well, I can play a lute." Eda replied. "But I don't know about her."

"Hey, look at how well I can play the ukulele!" Warden Envy announced while playing the ukulele. "Oh, my second career choice would have been Bard Coven. But speaking of Bard Coven, let me introduce you to the only prisoner we have here since a lot of people seem to either evade capture or end up at The Conformatorium. Yeah, I’m the reason why the Emperor’s Coven doesn’t fund free school meals.” 

"Eda, I think we're about to get some info." King declared.

"Okay Grime, take over." Eda requested.

"Hold on, I'm into this show now." Grime said. "Let King do it."

"Do my arms look big enough?" King asked.

"Well paddle with your little paws then." Grime suggested.

King gave Grime a deadpan expression. "My hands would melt."

"It's just water!" Grime retorted.

"It's Boiling Water!" Eda exclaims. "It burns worse than the boiling rains. Now shut up and think fast." Eda snatches the orb and hands Grime the oars. The toad narrowed his eyes at the Owl Lady while King laughed at him.

While Grime reluctantly paddled the oars, Eda was paying really close attention to the orb. In the documentary, Warden Envy lead the camera person to a witch with a moustache whom was drinking a cup of coffee that had a bat symbol.

"This is Captain Ron, he's guarding the cell to Raine Whispers since they are quite dangerous." Warden Envy explained. "Come on Ron, say something funny."

"I am here against my will." Captain Ron's comment made Warden Envy laugh like crazy.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ah! Good one Captain Ron." Warden Envy commented. "Always talking about how much they hate monarchies. Okay, let me into their cell."

Captain Ron nodded his head and opened the door for Warden Envy and to Raine's cell. It is revealed that they were chained by their waist, wrists, legs and even their neck so they wouldn't try anything funny to escape. They narrowed their eyes at Warden Envy and the camera person.

"Good afternoon Raine, how is my wonderful prisoner today?" Envy asked rather enthusiastically.

"Stiff."

Raine's response made Warden Envy laugh. "Oh Raine, despite all the torture I have inflicted onto you, you somehow have a sense of humour."

Raine rolled their eyes. "Listen Envy, whatever you do, I have no information to give to you. I don't know where Eda is."

"Oh please, do I look like my brother?" Warden Envy asked.

"You have his ugly face."

Raine's retort made Eda chuckle. "Wow, they can be quite feisty when I'm not around. Or a huge crowd. Somehow they're fine when they're on camera this time."

"Wow, I thought you hate cameras." Warden Envy remarked.

"I do, but I want people to see how stupid you look." Raine retorted.

Warden Envy was tempted to slap Raine, but she pulled herself together and smiled. "June, things are gonna get interesting. Make sure the camera is on Raine."

"What are you doing?" Raine asked.

"Just getting my scroll out." Warden Envy pulled out her scroll and showed Raine a video on Penstagram. But what was the video of? It was the so-called date between Eda and Wrath.

"Eda's dating Wrath?" Raine asked.

Eda froze at what was going on and shook her head repeatedly. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Raine, it's not like that!"

"I don't think they can hear you." Grime said.

"Well, at least she's moved on." Raine said, even though there was a hint of sadness on their face.

"Oh yeah, she has." Envy replied. "And it is really evident right…." The Warden pressed play.

"Ha, oh where do I start? Firstly, they're sensitive about everything. Can't even take a joke most of the time. Also, the whole Bard Coven thing is just a stupid idea. I mean, musical instruments are musical instruments, they don't need to be weaponised. And also….They don't even know personal space as they try everything to help me even though I assured them I was fine."

Raine looked shocked that their own ex girlfriend would think of them that way. She surely didn't mean it. I mean, sure they used to date and they did the dumping, but they felt guilty about it for many years and was so sure that Eda didn't hold any kind of grudge against them. But, judging by the video, she did.

"I'd show you the whole video, but this is good enough." Warden Envy said as she put her scroll away. "How do you feel Raine?"

Raine said nothing, something that made Warden Envy frown with disappointment. She expected tears and maybe some words, but not silence.

"They're saying nothing."

"I know that June! And I'm angry! Uh, come on! Say something negative about Eda! Come on! Just say how much my brother sucks that he's dating possibly, the only person you feel more confident around! Or better, say how much my brother sucks!"

But Raine said nothing and glanced their eyes away from Envy, something that made the warden angry.

"Do you have something to say to Eda?" June asked.

"Actually, I do." Envy walked up to the camera. "Alright Edalyn Clawthorne, listen to me, you're not getting Raine Whispers! My guards will find you if you sneak into The Cleanatorium. If you get into The Cleanatorium, I will put you in the same cell as Raine just to hurt them even more." Envy laughed."And if anybody is willing, well here's another bounty out for Eda. I will pay you handsomely and maybe, make you feel a bit welcome in my prison. And be awarded the highest honour as my special guest."

Eda turned off the orb and sighed sadly. "Well, it's out again."

"Did you really say that about your ex?" Grime asked with a grin. "I mean, wow! You must really hate them."

"I don't!" Eda exclaimed. "I don't hate them!"

"Oh yeah, it would explain why you're rescuing them." Grime remarked sarcastically. "You’d have to be desperate for selfish reasons to rescue your ex lover."

"I am desperate!" Eda replied. "Without them, we won't be able to defeat Belos."

"So what's the plan Eda?" King asked. "Are we going to go in magic blazing?"

"Actually, I haven't thought of a plan." Eda replied. "I was honestly, thinking of ways to break Raine out but so far, nothing. I mean, when it comes to The Conformatorium, I can go in there in and out, but I've never broken in or out of The Cleanatorium so….."

"…..so, we have no plan?" Grime asked.

"Unfortunately, I don't." Eda replied. "But that bounty thing might be my way in."

"But should we be worried about bounty hunters?" Grime queried.

"Honestly, no bounty hunter went after me." Eda replied. "I wonder what makes them ignore me?"

Meanwhile in one of the houses on Bonesborough, a spiky haired slender witch with a blue and yellow robe with black pants, was drinking a glass of egg yolk with what appeared to be a dab of brown pepper on top of it.

A tall witch with a wooden arm, a black beard and a bald head, wearing some kind of armour, walked in on his friend.

"Spieg, Eda's back on the table." The tall muscular witch informed his friend. "Should we go after her?"

The witch started thinking before drinking his beverage. "Nah, we'll get her later, Blet. I have a bad headache."

Meanwhile at The Cleanatorium, Captain Ron was sitting on his desk playing what appeared to be some kind of Rubik cube but made out of eyes, ears, nose and mouths. He then started hearing his Palisman, which happened to be what looked like a Welsh Corgi, bark.

"Nie, stop that." Captain Ron's demand went unheard and the dog continued barking. "Nie! What are you barking at?!" Ron walked up to his dog and saw that there was a boat approaching with what appeared to be a tied up Eda and a giant toad, rowing. "Well, good job Nie." Ron then pulled out his scroll and called his boss. "Envy, our esteemed visitor is here."

On the other end, Envy was having a bubble bath and was frozen in surprise upon hearing Ron’s call. "What?! Towel! June! Give me my towel!"

Later, Grime managed to dock up with the tied up Eda at his side and forced her out of the boat while carrying a cloaked bird cage in one of his hands.

"Move it!" Grime shoved Eda to the ground.

Eda looked unimpressed. "Okay, you didn't need to do it that hard."

"Do you want me to make it less convincing?" Grime asked as he pulled her up and pushed her again.

"Good point." Eda replied as she continued to walk with Grime pushing her.

They made it to the entrance where they saw Warden Envy and Captain Ron standing with a few of their guards. Warden Envy still being in her towel.

"Wow, it really is the Owl Lady." Warden Envy smiled. "How did you capture her?"

"My owl traps." Grime replied. "Call me Grime, Warden Envy."

"Is Grime short for something?" Warden Envy asked. "Or is it a name your parents gave you because they hated you?"

"It's short for Grimothy." Grime replied.

"That's it?" Asked the disappointed Warden Envy. "I expected it to be longer."

"So did the others." Grime then coughed. "Anyway, your prisoner and I got this little creature as a bonus." The toad lifted the blanket off the birdcage to reveal King, sleeping.

Once sunlight hit him, King started panicking and did a little dance before Grime pulled it back down, making the demon sleep again.

"Oh, you'd definitely want to keep this one as a pet." Grime said.

"Aww! I love pets." Warden Envy then approached Eda and smiled. "Wow, I can see why my brother likes you. For someone who looks like the right age to be my mom, you are rather foxy."

"And you…..are related to Wrath?!" Eda laughed. "I don't see the family resemblance. I guess buff siblings were in 'thin' supply." Eda laughed with Grime laughing along.

Warden Envy grumbled. "Well….You…..you are….you are….you…."

"The master of destroying people's chances of giving a comeback." Eda interjected.

"Enough!" Warden Envy turned around. "Barry, Dom, take The Owl Lady to the prison while I give our new guest some kind of reward."

Eda then noticed that one of the corners of Envy's towel was on the ground and stepped on it. When the warden walked forward, the towel fell causing the warden to be rendered nude. The soldiers laughed while Ron was just silent over their boss' humiliation.

Envy turned around where Eda moved the towel aside while surpassing a huge laughter. While Grime was laughing like crazy while King was still sleeping.

Captain Ron approached his boss, took off his cape and handed it to Envy who wrapped it on the front while the captain used his body to shield her back from further humiliation.

"Alright, take her to her cell! And Ron!"

"Yes?"

"Please keep guarding my back. I want my dignity to remain intact."

Meanwhile, Raine was passing the time by whistling a tune just to make sure they didn't die of boredom. The whistle in question, sounded like the theme to a show about witches.

Then, the cell door opened and Eda was thrown in with them, something that made Raine wide eyed with shock.

"Eda?!" Raine exclaimed.

Eda smiled. "Raine! Oh, I'm so glad to see you!"

"Oh….I didn't know." Raine tried to look away but could only just glance instead due to their neck being rather stiff.

Eda sighed. "Look, I know you saw the video but that's not how the full conversation went."

Raine didn't say anything as they glanced away from their ex girlfriend.

"Look Raine, I was only doing this because….." Eda knew Wrath wouldn't tell Envy in an attempt to make his image look good. Sure Wrath was loyal to the Emperor, but he was really unprofessional when it came to his sister. But she didn't want Envy to know of the breakout plan so she had to lie. "…..because I felt like standing Wrath up."

But once again, Raine wasn't saying anything as they glanced away.

"Oh, I see what's going on. Silent treatment?!" Eda laughed. "Come on Raine, what's the silent treatment going to do to me? I said I was sorry."

But once again, Raine wasn't saying anything.

"Besides, I'm just going to keep pestering you by talking." Eda said as she approached Raine. "But since you're stuck in this position, because those guys up there overdid it, it means I can pester you all I want." Eda then started to poke Raine on the cheek repeatedly, something that they tried to tolerate but were already going to get annoyed by. "Come on Raine, just talk to me."

After about 9 seconds, Eda just stopped and slumped on the wet floor. "Okay, since you're giving the silent treatment, I'll do the same thing until you're ready to talk to me like an adult."

And so, Eda and Raine just stared at each other in complete silent in an attempt to give one another the silent treatment until one of them finally snaps and talks.

Meanwhile, Grime was feasting on some kind of cooked bird that Warden Envy had prepared. The toad was eating it like he hadn't eaten for days, almost similar to a savage beast.

Warden Envy, on the other hand, was eating like a more sophisticated person and was looking uncomfortable at his eating habits.

"I'd eat more sophisticated, but I haven't eaten anything good in days since there was a war that was rather….personal." Grime replied.

"Well…..that sucks." Envy commented. "But might I suggest you eat a bit slower before you choke."

"What?!" Grime asked as he wiped his face with the napkin.

"Never mind." Warden Envy then lifted the blanket off of the birdcage to awaken King, who made his little noise and started panicking before she put it back down. The warden laughed before going back to her meal. "Aww, I'm never gonna get tired of this. Listen Grimesy, can I call you Grimesy?"

"No because a friend of mine already calls me that." Grime replied.

"Oh. Is there anything I can get you?" Warden Envy asked.

"Well, I wanna go to the evidence locker to see what kind of treasures are in store." Grime replied.

"Well….I don't know if a violin will be as much as a treasure." Warden Envy replied.

"Nonsense, I play a magnificent harp." Grime responded intensely. "I once won a talent show with a suite that lasted for three hours!"

"Well, there are more interesting treasures in the vault so…..You can look in there if you want." Envy said.

Grime started to ponder to himself about the suggestion. For one, if he went into the vault he could retrieve Raine's violin and get this over with. But, he realised that Warden Envy would find it suspicious that he'd refuse some treasure from her vault.

"Hmm, of course." Grime replied. "About the treasure vault. The evidence locker will come later."

"Splendid!" Warden Envy exclaimed happily. "I'll get the key. You wait right here."

Grime then sighed to himself once Envy was out of the picture. "Don't worry Eda, just give me more time." Grime whispered. "I just hope you'll be patient."

Meanwhile in the prison cell, Raine and Eda were still giving each other the silent treatment and had been for the last four minutes. Eda was tempted to talk to her former lover but didn't know the right words to say after possibly screwing up her chances of possibly renewing their partnership. Not a romantic one, just a partnership.

But Raine themselves, couldn't stand being silent and sighed. "Okay, I can't take this silence anymore!"

"Ha! I knew I'd break you." Eda smiled. "So, you ready to talk about the Warden Wrath thing?"

Raine sighed. "Eda, why did you come here to hand yourself in? I mean, it's not like you. Are you here to rescue me? Because if so, then why aren't you turning into the owl beast?"

"Please….got it covered." Eda then reached into her hair and pulled out a bottle of her elixir and drank it. "Good thing I placed a mouse trap in my hair or otherwise they would have found them. Or worst, that bottle of apple blood I snuck in for some kind of celebration."

"Celebration?!" Raine exclaimed. "What would you be celebrating?!"

"Nothing to celebrate actually." Eda replied. "Stuck in prison with my ex because some bounty hunter took me in."

"Spieg?"

"Nah, a walking toad named Grime."

Raine laughed. "I forgot you were awesome at coming up with nicknames."

"Yeah, you know me." Eda replied.

"Eda, you never told me that years after our breakup that you have a family." Raine mentioned. "Who are they?"

"Well, they're both adopted in a way." Eda replied. "The dog is named King. I accidentally kidnapped him assuming he was just a lost puppy. And that girl is Luz the human."

"And you captured that one as well?" Raine asked.

"I swear I didn't but I might need to convince her biological mother that." Eda replied. "She came to the Demon Realm accidentally when Owlbert stole her book and after an adventure where I rejected Warden Wrath…." Raine gave her a glare. "….I swear I did not intend to hurt you. Anyway, I agreed to teach her magic. And in that time, I helped her get into Hexside, she got a wanted poster, she made friends, got a girlfriend, helped King get his horn back, inadvertently helped repair my relationship with Lilith who I found out cursed me…"

"What?!" Raine exclaimed. "Lilith cursed you?!"

"Yeah, we share the curse now." Eda explained. "Since she felt bad. I'm still doing my best to try and forgive her and everything. Anyway, I'll tell you more about that later. Luz, really helped a lot of people. She helped some people named Willow, Gus and even helped Amity, the daughter of Odalia of all people to be a better person. And funny enough, that’s her girlfriend. I don't know what I'd do without her. She has done so much for us, me especially. But somehow, I feel like she's shutting me off quite a bit ever since she briefly went back to The Human Realm to see her mom. I feel like she's hurting but she won't talk to me about it, not even her girlfriend. It upsets me that I'm trying to help her, yet she refuses it."

Raine gave their ex a narrow stare. "Does that remind you of anyone?"

"Wow Rainestorm, really cold." Eda retorted before walking to the bars to think about what they said.

Raine realised what they said and tried explain themselves. "Eda, I didn't mean…."

"Raine, just stop." Eda interjected as she looked out the window. "Look, you said what you said. Let me just….." Eda had nothing and just continued to look out the cell bars. In a way, Raine was right.

The reason why Eda and Raine's relationship fell apart was because she refused help from them even though they did everything they could to help her. That was the reason why they broke up with her. All the dishonesty made them feel disconnected to her which lead to her to inadvertently hurt them even though she was trying to protect them. Could Luz be doing the same thing?

Meanwhile, Warden Envy lead Grime to the vault of many treasures which was a giant wooden circle with a door knob in the centre.

"I mean, the violin was good enough but you didn't need to take me to the vault." Grime said.

"Nonsense Grime, I had to give you something more than a violin." Warden Envy assured him.

"How good can these treasures be?" Grime asked before Warden Envy opened the vault to reveal treasures that made the toad drool ferociously. "Oh…..My….Frog." There were a lot of gold coins, diamonds, diamond thrones, golden thrones, diamond golden thrones, staffs, swords, diamond swords and many more excessive treasures.

"Yeah! Amazing!"

"So….Are you gonna leave me be so me and my treasures can be left alone in peace?" Grime asked.

"Take all the time you need, Grime." Warden Envy replied. "Which should possibly be…Oh, 9 hours! Or more! Maybe 9 weeks! Okay Grime, I'll be back byeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Once Warden Envy was out of sight and earshot, Grime's greedy smile disappeared as he started to remember his mission. "Okay Grime, retrieve the violin. That's the mission. But….It wouldn't hurt to take a coin or maybe a necklace or maybe a diamond! Oh forget it! I'm pretty sure Eda can wait!" Grime then dived into the vault to see what treasures he could find before retrieving the violin.

Back in the prison cell, Eda was still staring out the cell bars at the boiling seas while Raine was whistling to Eda's Requiem to pass the time. Eda tolerated the noise for about two hours, which was the same amount of time Grime was taking to retrieve the violin.

"Will you stop that?!" Eda exclaimed. "It's nice and all but it got annoying!"

"Sorry." Raine responded as they stopped. "Listen Eda, I'm sorry about what I said earlier."

"Raine, it's fine." Eda assured them.

"I don't think it is." Raine responded. "Although, it was kind of earned after hearing what you said about me."

"Look Raine, I never meant it." Eda assured them.

"How do I know you don't?" Raine asked. "Your lies costed our relationship and now I know you're here for reasons you think I do not know. Because I know that Edalyn Clawthorne wouldn't let some bounty hunter capture her."

"Listen Raine, I never meant it." Eda assured them. "I went on that date as a distraction while King did the real work."

Raine sighed. "What real work? Getting Warden Wrath's crow number? Look Eda, I appreciate you wanted to start dating again but you can do better than Wrath."

"It's not….Like that!" Eda yelled. "I don't even like that guy! I think he's too needy and too…Uh…..Not my type!"

"Why did you say that stuff about me if that's the case?!" Raine exclaimed.

"I just had to make it convincing while King and Grime rescued-" Eda put her hand on her mouth, realising she said too much.

"Grime?!" Raine shook their head. "The guy who took you in?!"

"I can confirm it." Captain Ron's response made Eda flinch since she didn't know he was there.

"How long have you been standing there?" Eda asked.

"I've been here this whole time." Captain Ron replied. "And I do not care about what's going on between you two. But I am disappointed that you did not offer me any of your delicious apple blood."

"Sorry." Eda responded.

"It's fine." Captain Ron assured her. "If you get out, throw me the bottle."

"Listen Raine, I only went on that fake date with Wrath to keep….Ron, would you mind if I tell Raine the truth?" Eda asked.

"I do not care since I hate my job." Captain Ron replied. "But I am loyal to Warden Envy. However, I am a guard that will accept a little bit of bribe snails."

Eda then pulled out the bottle of apple blood out of her hair and tried to shove it through the bars, but couldn’t. "How about you just get yourself a glass?" Eda asked.

Ron then reached into his pocket and pulled out a glass cup. "Pour it full."

Eda poured her favourite beverage into Ron's cup, pouring it to the point where it got to the guard’s intended measurement.

Once Eda had done Ron's request, she turned to her ex lover. "Look, that date was a distraction so Grime and King could break out you and your allies."

"So the guy who turned you in is your partner in crime?" Raine then smiled. "I knew you were faking it."

"That's when we realised, you weren't there." Eda replied. "You were at The Cleanatorium. I had Grime turn me in due to the reward Envy has on me. You see, Grime is going to get your violin so you could use it to your advantage but….Well, you can't use your arms so in hindsight it was stupid."

"No kidding." Raine retorted.

"Luckily, King is here and he can blow things up with his scream." Eda said. "I just hope Warden Envy doesn't know it."

"Well, in hindsight it seemed like a good plan." Raine remarked. "Actually, it is a good plan. I just hope it works."

"I'm rooting for you." Captain Ron said.

"Thanks Ron." Eda said while clicking and winking at him.

"So how long will this Grime be?" Raine asked.

"I don't know, but he's taking his sweet time." Eda replied. "Maybe the warden has him in her grasp."

Back in the vault, Grime was sitting on a throne while drinking gold coins from a diamond chalice. "Everything is in my grasp!" Grime squealed like an excitable teenager before diving into the coins, but ended up smashing his face in. Because in reality, you can't exactly dive into gold without sustaining an injury so don't even try.

But a bruised face wasn't going to stop Grime from having his fun so he got back up and started picking up gold coins and attaching necklaces around his neck. He then ran towards a golden harp and continued to be giddy about it. "Oh my goodness! This looks amazing! But not as good as the harp back at home. Oh and hey, a golden violin I can….." It was at this point, Grime realised that he had an important mission. He was meant to retrieve Raine's violin. "Oh for frog sake!"

Grime quickly ran out of the vault, past the dinner table; accidentally knocking King's cage in the process.

He ran out of the room where he met one of the guards playing guitar to themselves. The toad ran up to the guard who raised his hands to stop him.

"Oh hey, toad, I have a band tonight and I want your opinion…."

"My name is Grime, you suck and I need directions to the evidence locker." Grime interjected.

"Oh, it's on the right and it's the door marked evidence locker." The guard replied.

"Thank you Andy!" Grime ran to the right while Andy sighed.

"My name is Randy. Not Andy."

Grime eventually made it to the evidence locker and saw that it thankfully required no key. "Well, that was easy. How hard can retrieving the violin be?"

Grime opened the door to reveal that violin was on a mantle piece, apparently unguarded. Grime started to walk towards the violin slowly just in case there might have been some kind of booby trap system. But luckily, there wasn't.

Grime got down on one knee and stared at the violin like he was hesitant to take it. He just had to stare at it to make sure he could take it without setting any alarm.

He reached out for the instrument but pulled his hand back before getting impatient and just snatching the violin. He smiled rather smugly before turning around to see none other than Warden Envy standing by the exit with her guards.

"Oh finally!" Envy exclaimed. "I thought you weren't going to grab it. I mean the suspense was killing me!"

"Oh…..Frog!" Grime groaned.

Back in Raine's cell, Eda and Raine were being silent as they tried to think about what to say to each other.

They were slowly rebuilding their relationship. Not romantic, but more of a friendly relationship. Eda was pestering Captain Ron by poking his intimidating moustache with a stick that happened to be in the cell while Raine was busy trying to think of something to say.

"So….Even though the date was faked, how was it?" Raine asked.

Eda sighed. "Oh, thank goodness you said something. I was honestly getting bored of poking that guy's moustache."

"I was bored of you poking it as well." Ron retorted.

Eda then turned to face Raine as she threw the stick away. "Okay, so despite the fact I'm no way interested in Wrath, the date itself wasn't half bad. I mean the food was decent and the apple blood was pure A plus. And honestly, Wrath was great to talk to."

"Oh, was he now?" Raine asked, hint of jealousy in their voice. "So, you could only talk about your problems to him and not to me when we were together?"

"Wow, where's that attitude coming from?" Eda asked, already getting tired of Raine's new feisty attitude. "I mean, Raine Whispers was never this feisty. They were a shy, nervous, adorable wreck who showed on occasion that they weren't afraid. Why do you think I had feelings for you?"

"Maybe….I like this new Raine Whispers." Raine retorted, nervously.

"Raine, I don't like it." Eda replied.

"Well, I'm still angry that you said those things about me!" Raine yelled. "Whether you meant it or not, I still don't like it!"

"Raine, I never meant to say anything bad about the Bard Coven." Eda assured them. "And yes, you have a few flaws that I found infuriating, but so do I. Besides, I didn't care about your flaws because of how I felt about you! And look, I have flaws as well."

"I tried to tolerate your flaws." Raine replied. "But, you wouldn't talk to me about what you were going through. That was your biggest flaw for me Eda. I wanted to help you, I wanted you to talk to me, but I felt disconnected from you that I had a feeling that it wasn't going to work and decided to join The Emperor's Coven so I could give you the space you so desired. I wish things were different, but you made it difficult."

Eda was silent at first since she was busy trying to process what her former lover said about her. But she eventually had tears falling down her face, something that made Raine freeze in panic.

"Eda….."

Eda quickly wiped away her tears. "Ignore that, Raine." Eda sobbed. "i just…..Have something in my eye."

"Eda, was it something I said?" Raine asked with worry.

"It was something I realised." Eda replied. "During my date with Wrath, I felt guilty about how I ruined our relationship."

"Eda….."

"Don't try and make it out that it wasn't my fault." Eda interjected. "Raine, I ruined everything. If I only just let you in, if I let you helped me then maybe things would have been different." She dropped to her knees and started sobbing her eyes out, letting all the guilt within her take over. "I'm so sorry, Raine! I'm so sorry!"

Raine made some gentle shushes. "Eda, it's okay."

"It's not! I wish I allowed you to help me!" Eda exclaimed. "I should have allowed you to help!"

"Eda, I know why you did it." Raine said. "You only wanted to protect me and I understand why. I think I deserve some of the blame for dumping you."

"Raine….You shouldn't." Eda assured them.

"I deserve to." Raine said. "For years, I've been thinking about our breakup. I….hate that this was where we left off. I shouldn't have cut connection between us. I should have tried everything to help you no matter how hard you try to say I'm okay. I was a coward."

"So it was no one's fault?" Eda chuckled. "Guess in a way, we both screwed things up." Eda wiped away her tears as she looked at her former lover. "Raine, it's okay. I get our relationship wasn't perfect and maybe it was deserving of me."

"And I forgive you." Raine responded.

"Hey Rainestorm, do you think, if I was honest, if I let you help, if I let you in my life, do you think you would have lived with my curse?" Eda asked.

Raine decided to think about that question for a moment while staring at their ex girlfriend. "Maybe…I don't know." Raine replied.

Eda stared at her former lover in their eyes with Raine looking back. They were blushing but they couldn't look away from one another that they swore they were leaning in to each other.

But it was interrupted when the sound of the door opened and a familiar toad was thrown in. "I will get out!" Grime exclaimed. "With or without my war hammer!"

"Good luck." Captain Ron responded before closing the door on them. "Like, good luck."

Raine froze as they tried to process what they were seeing in front of their eyes. There was a giant, walking, talking toad in their vision.

"Eda, you'd tell me I'd go mad, right?" Raine asked.

"Yes." Eda replied.

"Well, I'm seeing a walking, talking toad in our cell."

Grime then walked up to Raine and flicked their face. "We're all mad, Raine."

"Raine, this is Grime." Eda informed her former lover. "He's the guy who helped me fake my arrest so we could rescue you. Did you get the violin?"

"Why yes Eda, which was why I was arrested and thrown in the same cell as you." Grime sarcastically replied.

"Oh for Titan sake!" Eda exclaimed. "What about King? Did he get out?"

"King is now our only hope." Grime replied. "Anyway, since we have some time to relax let's start. Let me assume that you're Raine Whispers, Eda's ex lover and partner. I am Captain Grime of the toad army and super fan of Suspicion Island! We are here to break you out as soon as things get back to business!"

Raine was still trying to process what was right in front of them. "Eda, are you playing along with my hallucinations or is there actually a toad in front of me?"

Grime sighed. "I just flicked your face do you want me to punch it?"

"Might help." Raine replied.

"No one's going to be punching each other!" Eda exclaimed as she pushed Grime aside. "With my first escape plan failing really badly, we might have to hope King will manage to break us out."

"Well, then it'll be plan C if plan B takes too long." Grime then reached underneath his tongue and pulled out a spoon.

"Why yes, this will definitely break us out." Eda sarcastically remarked.

"Make sarcastic remarks all you want." Grime retorted as he approached the wall. "Because this spoon will help me dig our way out! Sasha…."

"His human." Eda explained to Raine.

"…..told me of this iconic movie where someone used a spoon to dig their way out of a prison." Grime explained. "It might take long, but eventually, we'll be out." Grime then started on the wall with very little progress. The sight made Eda and Raine narrow their eyes at the toad captain due to his incompetence. "I would have used my fists but last time I did that, I had bruised knuckles for 9 weeks. Didn't help my monthly underground boxing matches."

"Well, I'm going to go mad soon so….King, you better hurry up!" Eda yelled.

"He will." Ron assured them.

"Ron, your optimism is helping me have a little faith." Eda replied.

"No, he will, so take cover." Ron replied before the door got blown open by a loud 'Weh' sound.

Once the smoke cleared, King ran into the cell with Raine's violin in hand. "You would not believe how easy it was to not get caught."

The first thing Raine did was go wide eyed as their eyes started shining. "Ohhhh Eda, he is so cute."

"Okay, when I free you from your chains, you better not hug me." King then screamed the chains off of Raine but it did cause them to crash into a wall.

With that, Grime helped Raine up and turned to King. "Did you by any chance bring my warhammer?"

"Do I look strong enough to carry it?" King asked.

"No time to debate." Eda interjected. "We got a breakout to commit."

"Great, you two get out and meet us on the roof." Grime requested. "Me and King will retrieve my warhammer."

"But you don't have a weapon." King remarked.

Grime picked up King by holding him with one hand on his stomach and the other on his tail. "Now I do." Grime then ran out of the cell to the deal with the approaching guards.

"King, say ah!" Grime exclaimed.

"What?" King asked before Grime pulled on his tail, making him scream and shooting the guards across the room.

Once they were gone, Eda cracked her neck while Raine readied their instrument. "I don't know how you're going to handle them since you have a lack of magic."

"I have my own brand." Eda retorted as she closed her eyes and ran out of the cell while feathers started to sprout from her arms.

The sight of feathers made Raine fearful since they knew what was going to happen to Eda, the Owl Beast.

"Eda! Are you crazy?!"

"Crazy mad!" Eda replied while guards surrounded her with staffs. Then, wings sprouted from her back as she fully transformed, not into the Owl Beast, but into Harpy Eda.

Once Eda was in full harpy form, the Owl Lady smashed the guards all over like they were nothing like rag dolls. She tossed one to the wall, knocked one down with her wing and even shoved a few down a flight of stairs.

Once the remaining guards retreated to get some more allies, Eda wiped away some sweat from her brow. "Woo! That wasn't hard. Don't know why I broke a sweat. Well Raine, are you coming?"

But Raine was staring at Eda with their jaw wide open, their face covered in red and their violin was close to falling out of their hand. "Eda?"

Eda acknowledged her former lover and smiled. "Oh yeah, I wanted to tell you about it but I just wanted to see the look on your face."

"Eda!" Raine pouted.

"I hope your violin skills haven't slowed down." Eda said before a random arrow missed her. "Raine, how's your cue for you and your rod to help?”

Raine quickly pulled themselves together and ran out of their cell. They started playing their violin with the violin stick, causing the guards to start floating upwards.

"Woah! Woah!" The guards exclaimed.

Eda then dived forward towards the guards, crashing into them and throwing them against the wall.

Some more guards arrive, and Raine played their violin to make them fly backwards into one of the cells, with Eda closing it and Captain Ron locking it.

The two were about to run out of the prison corridor, but they stopped when they realised who locked the door to that cell. The two turned around and saw Captain Ron drinking a glass of apple blood. Did someone from Warden Envy's crew just help them out?

He turned to them and sighed. "I did mention I am against the Emperor, didn't I?" Captain Ron asked.

"Yeah well….We just thought you'd watch on the sidelines." Raine said.

"Do you want an overlong explanation or do you want to get out?" Captain Ron asked.

"Good point." Raine said.

"Come on Rainestorm!" Eda said. "Let's get out before Warden Envy gets ticked off."

Eda and Raine ran out the room so they could find a way to escape while Captain Ron had a cup of apple blood and griffin egg sandwich for his lunch.

The guards started knocking on their cell trying to get the attention of the guard captain but he wasn't paying attention. "I am eating and I wanna go home after I've finished." Captain Ron responded.

Meanwhile, Grime and King were both fighting their way through guards with the combination of super powerful screams and an all mighty warhammer.

King blew the guards across the room with powerful screams while Grime smashed one of the guard's faces down  the toilet with his free hand.

"They're too powerful!" A guard exclaimed as they ran for their life. "I gotta contact Warden-" But before the guard could get close to contacting the warden, they ran into Grime's powerful hammer, causing their mask to smash.

Grime winced at the guard's injury. "Oh boy, that's definitely a broken jaw."

King blew another guard away with his scream, causing them to shoot pass the stairs and out the window. "Ha! Take that!" King then did some panting due to using so much power. "Okay, that was more power than I should have been using."

"Hey King, when this is over, do you perhaps want to do some stuff together?" Grime asked. "We make quite the formidable team."

"Like stealing?" King asked.

"Well, stealing, killing monarchs, overthrowing jerks and-"

"You had me at killing monarchs!" King interjected. "Why didn't you stop there?!" The dog's response made Grime smile, knowing he has found a new partner.

Meanwhile, Eda and Raine managed to make it to a ladder leading to the roof. They stared at at the hatch that lead to where they needed to be to escape since they knew the boat would be either heavily guarded or destroyed. But unfortunately, the hatch was rather small so Eda couldn't fit herself through it.

"Okay, this might be a problem." Raine remarked.

"Do you think the floor is made of wood?" Eda asked.

"Looks like it, why?" Raine responded.

"Try not to gush." Eda said before carrying Raine in her arms and putting them close to her body so they wouldn't get injured.

Up the ladder, the guards were aiming their staffs at the hatch for when they'll eventually pop out. "Wait, can she even fit through that?" The guard asked before Eda smashed through, causing the guards to be knocked out.

She landed carefully on the floor, still carrying Raine in her arms. The ex-head of the Bard Coven was blushing like crazy due to being carried by Eda in her new and sexy form.

"Well…..That was….Incredible." Remarked a blushing Raine.

"Well, if you want, I can carry you back to The Owl House." Eda offered flirtatiously.

The offer turned Raine's face red like a tomato. "Well…Uh….It's a….Amazing….It's….quite the….off…..er?"

"Ha, I love it when I break you." Eda chortled.

"Well, how about if I do?" Suggested the voice of Warden Envy.

The two looked forward and saw Warden Envy, looking sweaty and frustrated. She was panting with exhaustion as she held a crossbow with a flaming arrow that was set by her.

"Do not move and do not play one tune from your instrument, Whispers!" Warden Envy demanded. "Now, drop everything in your hands and raise them!"

Raine dropped their violin while Eda just narrowed her eyes at the warden with a deadpan expression. "Okay, I'm not dropping them."

"Very well, this would be a perfect way to end things." Warden Envy remarked. "Two lovers; one dying in another's arms. Pretty romantic way to go."

"Listen Envy, why don't you let us go?" Eda asked. "I know you aren't so you might as well explain why."

Envy took a deep breath. "I am sweating, I am frustrated and I am holding a flaming crossbow because someone had to turn into a hot monster. I mean, a gorgeous monster! I mean, a beautifully exotic monster! I mean….You get the point!" She aimed the crossbow at them.

"You do realise I can just fly away, right?" Eda asked.

Just then, Captain Ron snuck up behind Eda and hit her with a syringe of orange liquid and the Owl turned back from harpy mode to regular mode, while still holding Raine.

"Oh Ron!" Eda yelled.

"Sorry, she requested I'd do it or she'd cancel my salary." Ron said.

"Ha! Good thing I had Ron search through your hair." Warden Envy smiled. "That elixir is rather handy, ain't it?"

"Well, the beast is gonna be dormant for 8 hours so…." Eda said.

"Well, this was a bust." Raine remarked.

"You're telling me." Eda replied.

"Okay Eda, you're about to be blown to smithereens." Warden Envy announced as she started to step backwards, close to the edge. "You better stand back Ron unless you wanna be blown to kingdom come. Oh you know what, you proved your treachery so I'm gonna blow you up as well."

"Fair." Ron replied.

She soon stopped as she aimed her crossbow at the crooks and traitor. "You know, I wish I could see the look on my brother's face as I blow the one he loves to smithereens. And once you're dead, I'll mount your heads in my office as trophies! I don't care if the Emperor needs you for The Day of Unity! Because we're all-"

Before Warden Envy could finish her sentence, the trapdoor that was below her feet swung open, causing the warden to fall off the ledge and into the boiling seas while screaming.

Grime and King poked their heads out and stared at the people in front of them with deadpan expressions. "I hope I didn't knock anyone off. I hate opening the trapdoor to someone on top of it." The toad said.

"Grime, King!" Eda yelled out before gently placing Raine down on the floor.

"You couldn't have held me for a few more minutes?" Raine flirtatiously queried.

"Okay, can I have this Raine when we get back?" Eda asked. "Because I'm loving them."

"What happened to Harpy Eda?" King asked.

Eda then pointed to Ron. "This guy incapacitated them with my elixir for 8 hours so I can't carry them back to The Owl House like I wanted to."

"Ooooh, how romantic." Grime remarked. "So, how are we going to get back?"

Eda then whistled and Owlbert arrived as quick as he could. "Hop on Raine."

King jumped on the Palisman with Raine following, holding their violin.

"Do you think the girls will be back?" King asked.

"I hope so." Eda replied. "I mean, it's just a simple box, how hard can it be to find?"

"It's a lot harder, I assure you." Grime informed the Owl Lady. "Anyway, can either Raine or King scoot over so I can get on?"

Eda analysed Grime to see if he can fit on her Palisman but King, Raine and Owlbert shook their heads. "Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with them on this one. I don't think you can fit."

"What?!" Grime exclaimed. "It's because of my weight isn't it?! I'll have you know, I lost about nearly all of my weight after days of binging Suspicion Island and eating."

"Okay, we are judging your weight." Eda replied. "But it's not because you don't have a bulging gut, you're just the fattest in the group. Fly Owlbert!" Owlbert flew off with Raine holding on to Eda's waist so they wouldn't fall with King holding Raine's as well.

Grime sighed. "Uh, and Luz says this was a place where everyone judged you by character. So, am I supposed to row my way back?!"

"I'll take you back." Captain Ron replied. "I have a boat."

Grime smiled. "Okay, I'm coming. I hope Sasha hasn't lost her eye for that box."

Chapter Text

The girls had made it to the pathway to where the Calamity Box might have landed. Sasha, Amity and Luz were walking up the knee that thankfully had no snowstorm. The girlfriends were in front; dressed in their snow gear while Sasha was behind; shivering since she decided it would be a good idea to not bring any winter clothing. Which in actuality was a stupid decision.

Amity, whom was carrying Ghost, her Palisman, smirked at Sasha’s predicament. "Regret not bringing any winter clothing?"

Sasha shivered while narrowing her eyes at the cotton candy haired witch. "Shut up. It means nothing to me. I've been cold plenty of times."

"But you don't get any snow in LA, how can you?" Luz asked.

"I have been trained by Grime to resist pain and sword combat." Sasha explained before continuing to shiver. “If you throw snow at me, it will mean nothing."

Amity shrugged her shoulders and formed an abomination behind Sasha's back. The magic purple goop monster formed a huge snowball that it threw at the human toad lieutenant.

Instead of impact, the human toad lieutenant ducked and the giant snowball hit Amity instead. Luz heard the sound and turned around to see what it was and panicked when she saw her girlfriend covered in snow.

"Amity! What happened?!" Luz asked.

Amity took a deep breath to keep her calm composure. "It was just a prank gone wrong."

Sasha then walked up to Luz with a smug smile. "Hmm, actually, I think I'll take some winter clothing. A lot chillier than I expected it to be."

Amity narrowed her eyes at Sasha while Luz happily reached into a sack and pulled out a folded up coat, some gloves, a hat and a scarf that the lieutenant quickly put on.

"Now come on companions, we have a quest to continue." Sasha declared as she continued to walk.

Amity gritted her teeth in anger as she kept pulling that smug face. Boy did she really hate that human.

But Luz just pulled Amity up and dusted her off. "You're quite soaked Cariño." She remarked. "Do you want the spares I brought along?"

"I'm fine." Amity replied. "I just….Really don't trust her."

"I know you don't." Luz sighed. "But, if she really is a friend of Anne and is looking for redemption, then we need to take that into account." Luz and Amity started walking while holding each other's hands. "Listen Amity, I am taking the fact that she might betray us into account but I think we might need to take the fact that she could be telling the truth into account as well. So, I'm being nice to her so there will be less hostility. You think you can try and be a bit nicer, for me?" Luz gave her girlfriend pouty puppy eyes.

"Luz….." Amity narrowed her eyes at Luz. "….Don't give me that face." Luz moved in closer, causing Amity to chortle. "Don't make me….Stop using that face." Amity then couldn't contain herself and laughed. "Okay, I'll try my best."

"Thanks a bunch, babe." Luz then kissed Amity on the cheek, causing the witch to turn red in the face.

Then they heard Sasha laughing. "Oh my gosh! You two are so adorable. So, are we gonna keep moving or are you gonna try and make me barf?"

The couple smiled at Sasha's little quip. "Yeah, we're coming." Amity replied while giving a friendly smile to the human.

While the smile seemed friendly, it was more of a warning to Sasha that Amity had an eye on her, whether she liked it or not. While Sasha's friendly smile towards Amity was more intimidating, at least that's what the toad lieutenant was attempting.

They continued to walk up the knee hoping that no one will stand in their way to retrieve the box.

But unbeknownst to them, turns out that they weren't alone. The Emperor's soldiers lead by the two Golden Guards, Malsacc and Hunter, were patrolling the area in search of the box.

"If one of you fails to find me the box, then I will use my powers to find out what dirty secrets you hide and expose them to Penstagram!" Malsacc exclaimed.

"They'll never find anything, you'll just have to expose their thoughts." Hunter said.

"Patience." Malsacc replied. "We don't want them to find out about your little friend, do we?"

"No sir." Hunter replied as he hid Lil' Rascal up his sleeve.

"Hunter, walk with me." Malsacc requested. "And you rats better keep looking. If one of you finds anything of interest, I will not punish you but I will punish the ones who haven't."

Once Malsacc and Hunter were out of earshot, the soldiers continued to search for whatever they could find.

Just then, one of the soldiers lifted something from the snow and gasped with surprise. "Hey guys, I think I found something!"

"Get him!" The soldiers then started tackling the soldier.

"I don't want my Penstagram search history to be exposed!"

"I don't want my private life outside of my home to be exposed!"

"I don't want my…collection to be exposed!"

While the soldiers continued to bicker over whatever that soldier found, Malsacc lead Hunter to the edge of a cliff where he admired the view of the skeletal remains of the Titan, laying in the boiling seas.

"Isn't that a beaut?" Malsacc asked.

"Yeah. My uncle is doing everything to appease him no matter the risks." Hunter replied.

"Belos is a brave man." Malsacc remarked. "I don't know what we'd do if he wasn't around. The Isles would probably fall."

"What are you about to tell me?" Hunter asked. "Some kind of anecdote?"

"Oh no, I'm not that wise." Malsacc replied. "Do you wanna know how it felt to be let go of my title?"

"What is this about?" Hunter asked. "And why are you telling me at the edge of a cliff?"

"Atmosphere." Malsacc replied. "Listen Hunter, I was let go of being Golden Guard simply because I failed to catch a target. They were a wild witch, they used a brand of magic that I hadn't seen and Belos wanted that power. A witch with six fingers that formed energy tentacles from their back. It was like they were part demon. But as I got close to that witch, they suddenly fell off this cliff right before I could catch them. And because of my one mistake, I was let go by Belos. Then, 12 years later I found out I was replaced by his scrawny nephew."

"And this is meant to…."

"It's meant to make you realise you don't deserve the title." Malsacc interjected. "I made one mistake and suddenly, I was gone. Yet, you make lots of mistakes and the only reason he is even letting you off is because you're apparently family."

"He….Says the Titan knows I have great things coming." Hunter replied.

"Titan knows I have great things coming." Malsacc responded in a childish mimicking fashion. "What does the Titan actually know? Your Uncle has told me that you have failed him multiple times and yet here you are holding my title with all those stupid propaganda photos of you plastered everywhere encouraging the simpletons to join The Emperor's Coven. You think you're so great don’t you? You may think you're great, but in actuality, you're just an insecure teenager trying way too hard to impress their uncle. Hiding it underneath an overconfident and egotistical attitude. I knew what being a Golden Guard was; loyalty and perfection. Yet, you treat it as something to compensate for the fact that you are nothing."

Hunter took off his helmet and to stare at his predecessor with an angry expression. "You know what I go through! You went through my memories without permission. So this scolding seems pointless. I think you're just hiding that you're jealous because you failed one mission!"

Malsacc then grabbed Hunter by the shoulders and appeared like he was going to do something he might regret. "Uh….I guess you're right. People make a lot of mistakes. I get you have problems, I have problems. But there is one thing that I find about you being The Golden Guard so annoying….." Malsacc then turned Hunter so he could face the Titan and see the beauty in itself. "…..You."

Hunter was at first confused, wondering what the witch meant. But his question was answered when Malsacc pushed him off the cliff and quickly snatched away his helmet off of him as he fell.

The young boy fell into the misty fog below as he screamed while Malsacc just watched on, not caring about the teen potentially falling to his death.

"Oh I hope someone spots him on his Palisman. I can't wait for his Uncle to suck Lil' Rascal's life force." Malsacc said to himself. "Now, I just have to hope no one heard me talking to myself. Because, there can only be one Golden Guard."

The witch then placed the helmet on his head to know what it's like wearing the helmet. But he quickly took it off when he lowered it to his forehead. "Too tight."

Malsacc then pulled what appeared to be an object the size of a bread crumb. Then he made a magic circle and the object grew into a battered helmet that looked similar to Hunter's helmet, but older and worn out.

The former golden guard placed it on his head and glared at the skeletal remains of the Titan in the distance. "I'm the real Golden Guard, not him." Malsacc turned around to see if his soldiers have found something.

But was Hunter dead? Turns out, Malsacc was unsuccessful in his murder attempt. Hunter turns out to have survived his fall thanks to Lil Rascal turning into a staff just in time.

Hunter narrowed his eyes upwards, knowing what he meant instantly. He had just been betrayed by his predecessor. "I don't want to risk it, Lil' Rascal." He said to his Palisman. "I don't wish to risk it to expose your existence." The Palisman tweeted at him while lowering himself. "Because if they see you, they'll send you to my uncle and I won't have you anymore. Because you'll be dead." The Palisman tweeted back. "All I need is to find a way to inform my uncle about his treachery. Perhaps I might need to appear dead in order for Malsacc to play into my plan." The Palisman lowered himself to the bottom where unbeknownst to Hunter, Luz, Amity and Sasha were right behind him. "The only thing that could stop me is that stupid human. If I ever see her again, I will definitely gut her. Or better, maybe I can have Belos petrify her. And once finished, I will have her in my room as a trophy."

The current Golden Guard threatening her girlfriend had Amity ready to form her abomination, but Sasha motioned her not to. She wanted to see his reaction when he realised that Luz is standing right behind him.

Hunter got off his Palisman, which turned itself back into bird form and hid in Hunter's pocket. The current Golden Guard turned around to see Amity folding her arms, Luz doing a smug wave and Sasha shaking her head. The mere sight of them, made him freeze.

"Listen dude, I've been in your situation before. Word of advice: Check if that person is behind you before you bad mouth them." Sasha advised him.

Hunter quickly started to make a run for it until he suddenly got wrapped in Abomination goop thanks to Amity. The Golden Guard fell into the snow and sighed. "Great, not again."

The girls walked up towards to Hunter with Sasha aiming her sword at his throat just in case he tried to do something funny.

"Sasha, allow me to introduce The Golden Guard." Amity said.

Sasha smirked. "Wow, he looks scrawnier in person."

"And you look like a human and I already hate you." Hunter retorted.

"What are you doing out here?" Luz asked him, trying to be a little friendly.

"None of your business." Hunter replied. "Why is there another human here?"

"That is none of your business as well." Sasha replied as she placed her sword to the boy’s throat.

"So, what are we going to do with him?" Luz asked.

"We could leave him out in the cold." Sasha replied. "Let the wolves take him."

"Actually, there are no wolves." Luz replied. "But there are wolf beetles."

"Oh…..Uh, then leave him out for the wolf beetles."

"No. It'll be too risky." Amity said. "I'm lucky he hasn't told his emperor about my involvement at Eclipse Lake because I would have been at the Conformatorium right now. Or worse, the Cleanatorium."

"So, we're just going to keep him around?!" Sasha asked.

"Besides what Amity said, I can't leave him out in the cold." Luz replied.

"I would." Sasha retorted, causing Hunter to glare at her. "What? You'd do the same if it was me."

"Good point." Hunter said.

"Wait Luz, what if he's looking for the box?" Amity asked.

"What makes you think I'm looking for The Calamity Box?" Hunter asked.

Sasha, Luz and Amity narrowed their eyes at Hunter, since he just properly screwed himself. "Dude, we didn't say anything about it being The Calamity Box." Sasha informed him.

"Well….I only assumed." Hunter said.

"Nice assumption." Amity remarked. "It was correct."

"If Hunter's here then it means one thing, that means The Emperor's soldiers are here." Luz declared.

"You know, you're actually correct." Hunter stated.

"Why aren't you calling your forces then?" Sasha asked. "Because, if I had an army and I was captured by a cotton candy haired elf…." Amity rolled her eyes. "….then I'd call my team to rescue me. You're obviously bluffing."

"I wish I was." Hunter replied. "Because I was betrayed."

"Liar." Amity retorted. "Why should we believe you?"

"Because I know that there are 29 soldiers and the original Golden Guard, the one that betrayed me, are patrolling The Knee in search of the box." Hunter replied.

"There was an original Golden Guard?" Luz asked.

"There was." Amity replied.

"Listen, I'll help you get the box." Hunter declared. "I know I appear I don't, but if I'm gonna be betrayed by my own crew then I might as well betray them back."

"As much as we wish for help, I don't know if we should trust you a third time." Luz replied.

"You don't know who you're dealing with, but I do." Hunter replied. "Malsacc knows about my Palisman and he's possibly planning to expose me. So, what choice do you have? You know you want to help me."

Luz was very hesitant to trust Hunter but she couldn't turn down someone who looked like was in dire need. "Amity, release him."

"Luz?!" Amity exclaimed.

"Aww what?!" Sasha exclaimed as well. "This walking talking angst machine is just going to betray us!"

"I'm right here." Hunter retorted.

"And I'm gonna be cautious about it." Luz assured them. "If he gets out of line, then we keep him trapped in the Abomination. Just release him."

Amity sighed. "Alright, if you betray us then I might let Sasha chop your head off."

Sasha smirked at Amity. "You're already starting to trust me, aren't you?"

"For now." Amity retorted before removing the Abomination from Hunter.

"Thank you, now-" Sasha then punched Hunter in the face before he could finish.

"This is a warning just in case you betray us." Sasha said. "I may not know you, but judging how these two reacted towards you, you are definitely bad news."

Hunter wiped away the blood coming from his mouth and narrowed his eyes at Sasha. "And I already hate you too."

"Come on." Amity said. "We have to find that box before The Coven or someone else finds it."

Meanwhile, Yunan and her soldiers were walking up the snowy Knee. Her arm was frozen due to the cold climate. She quickly smashed the ice before it could freeze her entire body.

"Uh…..Darn cold." Yunan grumbled.

"Message incoming." One of the robots said before projecting a holographic image of King Andrias.

"Hey Yunan, how are ya?" Andrias asked.

"About to be frozen in a block of ice." Yunan replied. "But I've been trained to combat it."

"Anyway, how goes the search?"

"Still looking. But I have your army beside me." Yunan replied.

"Great. Just a heads up, we have a new enemy. Actually we might have a ton." Andrias said. "I recently talked to the leader of this Demon Realm and he wants The Calamity Box himself and has decided to send out his cronies to do his job. I mean, how lazy is that?"

Yunan rolled her eyes. "Yes, how lazy."

"Additionally, his soldiers could be somewhere around your vicinity, so keep an eye out." Andrias informed his general.

"Will do." Yunan saluted her king.

"Thanks! By the way, your boot is frozen." Andrias informed his general before disappearing.

Yunan looked down and indeed saw that her foot was frozen. She gritted her teeth and pulled it out of the ice like she was slipping out of some uncomfortable slippers.

"Uh….I better find the box soon." Yunan grumbled.

Meanwhile, Malsacc was continuing to look for the box with his soldiers at his side. None of the guards even questioned whether Malsacc's claim about Hunter dying were true, they just continued their job.

"Hurry up now!" Malsacc yelled. "The Emperor could be getting impatient! And also, find the body of The Golden Guard."

"But aren't you The Golden Guard again?" One of the soldiers asked.

"I am but I'm referring to my successor who is also my predecessor which saying in that sentence makes it really confusing." Malsacc explained.

Unbeknownst to The Coven, the girls and Hunter were watching the events unfold behind a bush. Luz and Amity looked at the old Golden Guard in fear, feeling intimidated by his tall appearance and the way he delivered his commands, it was quite scary.

"That's the guy." Hunter said while pointing to Malsacc.

"Oh please!" Sasha blew a raspberry. "He doesn't seem scary."

"Did I mention he can read your mind just by touching your forehead with his thumb?" Hunter asked.

"If he was so powerful, why didn't the Emperor keep him on?" Sasha asked. "Was he compensating for something?" Sasha chuckled while Amity and Hunter stared at her for being immature. Luz didn't quite get what she was implying however.

"I don't get it." Luz replied. "And if it's something disgusting please don't tell me. I'd like my childlike brain to be untouched for a few more years."

"So….Do we have a plan?" Hunter asked.

"I didn't think we'd be surrounded by this many soldiers." Luz replied.

"Wait Luz, why don't we use one of your invisibility glyphs?" Sasha suggested.

"Oh yeah, that's a great idea." Amity sarcastically replied. "Let's use invisibility glyphs to sneak round them and leave footprints in the snow." Sasha narrowed her eyes at the witch as a response.

"No, I think we'll need to walk around them." Hunter replied. "One of us might need to throw something into the distance to keep them distracted and then we will pass them so we won't get spotted."

Then, the sound of armour clanging was heard as well as robotic sounds. "What's that?" Luz asked.

"Oh no." Sasha said.

They looked to the right while Malsacc and his soldiers looked toward same direction. The strangers that were approaching Malsacc and his soldiers and thankfully ignoring the four, was General Yunan and her army.

Yunan lifted up her arm to reveal it to be frozen once again. She groaned and smashed it on her chest to shatter the ice. "I should have brought a scarf."

"And who might you be?" Malsacc asked General Yunan.

"Oh boy, get ready to yawn." Sasha whispered.

"My name is General Yunan, Scourge of the Sand Wars, Defeater of Ragnar the Wretched, and the youngest newt to ever achieve the rank of general in the great Newtopian Army!" Yunan exclaimed.

"Wow, you were right, that is annoying." Luz remarked to Sasha.

"It gets worst when you hear it a million times." Sasha said.

Malsacc just smiled. "Good for you. And what brings you out here?"

"I wish for The Calamity Box." Yunan replied. "Might I inquire something Mr….."

"It's Malsacc." He replied. "Loyal subject to Emperor Belos, Hunter of Palisman, and the true Golden Guard."

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! So, I assume you're looking for my master's box?" Yunan asked.

"It will be my master's soon." Malsacc retorted.

"Malsacc, this army I have beside me is under my control." Yunan motioned to her wrist device. "Thanks to Alador Blight, my new ally."

Amity cringed while Sasha narrowed her eyes at her. "Please tell me that isn't a relative."

"Well, at least it wasn't my Mom." Amity said.

"Husband of the very humble, Odalia Blight!" The mention of her mother made Amity sulk.

"Do you think the mere mention of The Emperor's biggest financiers will make me lower my defences?" Malsacc asked. "So Yunan, take your long stout elsewhere whilst me and my soldiers do things on our own."

Yunan clenched her fists, causing her wrist blades to appear. "Malsacc, we can do this two ways. I can make the snow a little warmer by your presence or perhaps, I can make it colder."

Malsacc smirked while the guards looked at each other, trying to understand what the quote meant.

"Uh…Did one of them mean you'll let him live and did the other mean you'll kill him?" One of the guards asked.

Yunan groaned. "At least the robots are a lot smarter."

"Enough!" Malsacc demanded. "If you want to stop me from gaining the box…." Malsacc then unsheathed a sword and aimed it at the general. "….come claim it."

Yunan clenched her teeth and screamed, charging towards Malsacc with fury. "ATTACK!"

The robots listened and activated their missiles and started blasting. Some of the soldiers dodged the incoming missiles while others were blown away.

Some of the soldiers charged at the robots casting spells like shooting fire and trapping them in vines.

While Yunan and Malsacc clashed each of their blades together and snarling at each other.

The battle ensued as Luz, Amity, Sasha and Hunter watched it with surprised expressions. They did not anticipate this whatsoever.

"Well, that was easy." Luz remarked.

"Let's sneak around while they're distracted." Sasha said before she and her gang snuck around to make sure they weren't seen.

Once the four got out of sight, they went back on track to try and find the box.

"Hey Sash, should we be worried about Yunan?" Luz asked.

"Nah. She's way too overconfident so it'll be easy to defeat her." Sasha replied.

"Wish it were the same for others." Amity said while leering at Hunter, something that Sasha took notice of.

"Well, at least she's stopped with me for now." Sasha whispered to herself.

"Hold on, does anyone smell burning?" Hunter asked.

The gang followed the smell of burning to a trail of what looked like some kind of meteor that crashed there. But there was no crater, only a box shaped print in the snow that looked to have been there for a number of hours.

"It was there." Sasha declared.

"It might have been another box." Hunter's theory made the girls narrow their eyes at him. But The Golden Guard just shrugged his shoulders. "It might be possible."

"But where is it?" Luz asked.

Amity looked to what was in front of the print, it was some kind of cave that had a keep out sign written in what appeared to be blood. This made Amity raise her eyebrow in worry as if she knew what this place was.

"Oh no." Amity said.

"What is it Amity?" Luz asked her girlfriend.

"I know where the box is." Amity replied.

"Where?" Sasha asked.

"In that cave." Amity replied. "The Sanguisor Cave."

Sasha then looked away for a second and unsheathed her sword, something that made Luz raise an eyebrow.

"Sash, what are you doing?" Luz asked.

"Luz you did mention there were vampires on The Boiling Isles, right?" Sasha asked.

"That's what Eda told me." Luz replied. "Why?"

"I never paid attention in Latin class but I know that Sanguisor is Latin for blood sucker." Sasha replied.

"Wait, humans speak more languages other than Spanish and English?" Amity asked.

"I'll explain later, Cariño." Luz replied.

The gang slowly entered the cave with Sasha clutching on to her sword just in case, Hunter had Lil' Rascal perched on his shoulder, Luz had her light glyph as a torch while Amity was prepping her Abomination just in case.

"So…..Do the vampires here have the same weakness?" Sasha asked. "As in, garlic, silver, wooden steak to the heart and sunlight?"

"They do hate silver and sunlight." Amity replied. "I didn't know they hated garlic."

"I thought they would have hated onions for a second." Sasha replied.

"What's an onion?"

Sasha then turned to Luz. "How have you survived for the last few months?"

"Finding the right food to digest isn't easy but I eventually found them." Luz replied.

"Humans, since you have an idea about what the vampires are and you have a lack of weaknesses to use against them, it's clearly obvious that we need to be careful." Hunter said.

"Says the guy who might betray us." Amity muttered.

"If I was going to betray you, I would have let you walk in the cave to die whilst I stayed out." Hunter retorted.

"He has a point." Luz said.

"I don't know…."

"Amity, it's not like he set a trap for us." Luz assured her girlfriend.

But once again, fate had a sense of humour because Amity and Sasha fell through a trap door. "Amity!" Luz screamed.

But she couldn't save them because the trap door closed on them before Luz and Hunter could have had a chance to rescue them.

"No!" Luz exclaimed. "Amity!"

"They might be okay." Hunter theorised bluntly. "Come on, we have to find the box before someone else does. And we'll find your girlfriend."

"And Sasha." Luz reminded him.

Hunter sighed. "And that other human. Sure, why not? Because one human for this world wasn't enough."

"Okay." Luz responded while eyeing him. "Once again, it's just us and the truce."

"Yeah." Hunter responded while eyeing Luz.

Meanwhile, Amity and Sasha had landed in a deeper area of the cave thanks to the trapdoor they fell down. Sasha thankfully hadn't broken anything while Amity felt dizzy.

"Uh…You okay?" Sasha asked.

"Uh…." Amity groaned.

"Yeah, you're fine." Sasha said as she pulled herself up before noticing a random white cat in front of her. "And how about you Ghost?" Ghost just scratched themselves before moving to licking their paw.

"On the bright side, at least we can see." Amity remarked while placing her surprisingly un-scratched Palisman.

"Yeah…..Kind of strange." Sasha remarked before noticing some pretty rainbow covered crystals right beside them. Something that made Sasha disgusted. "Uh….Too pretty."

"Yeah, I'd stay to admire it but…Mission." Amity said before pulling out her tamagotchi.

"What is that?" Sasha asked.

"Something to contact Luz with." Amity replied. "I'd use my scroll but Luz doesn't have one since Eda won't trust her with one. Eda says a lot of humans use these."

"Used." Sasha retorted. "I mean, nobody uses these things anymore. That's something my own Mom and Dad used before they got married….." Sasha then looked to the ground after the mere mention of her parents. "…..Anyway, don't wish to talk about my parents and their marriage troubles."

The two started walking while Amity messaged her girlfriend to let her know that she was okay. But unbeknownst to them, something was crawling above them while hissing at them sinisterly.

Meanwhile, Luz had managed to get the message from Amity and smiled knowing that she was okay. "Esa es mi novia increíble."

Hunter stared at Luz, not understanding the words that were coming out of her mouth but he still continued to follow her.

"What if the box isn't in here?" Hunter asked.

"Then we keep looking." Luz replied before her torch went out. "Oh Titan." Luz then pulled out a another light glyph and lit it. Once she lit it, she screamed.

"What?!" Hunter yelled as he pulled Lil' Rascal out of his pocket.

"Sorry." Luz chuckled. "I expected something to be there. Like some stupid jump scare horror movie."

"Well, thanks for making me paranoid." Hunter said.

"Let's keep moving." Luz said.

"And scream when something actually comes at us from the dark." Hunter said while staring at Luz like he was intending something for her.

Meanwhile, Malsacc's forces and Yunan's forces continued to duel. Around 19 robots were destroyed by either The Emperor's soldiers or Malsacc or Yunan, inadvertently. While many of the soldiers were injured due to either Yunan kicking them really hard or the robots.

Many of the robots were still fighting the Emperor's soldiers without getting tired, while many of the soldiers were either hiding, trying to surrender or trying to figure out a plan.

But Yunan and a tired Malsacc still continued their duel with each of them, deflecting each other's hits.

"You need to give up at some point." Malsacc said with a smirk.

"I will not give up." Yunan protested. "I have trained myself to never give up."

"So you've trained yourself to be a perfect soldier?" Malsacc remarked.

"Ha! Perfect is too much of a small word! Flawless is more like it!" Yunan said.

"So, you've trained yourself to have a pleasant conversation while fighting an opponent?"

"Only when said enemy is getting tired." Yunan replied.

"So at some point, you wouldn't stop….." Then without warning, Malsacc placed his thumb on Yunan's head. This caused both of their pupils to dilate as the witch started to see every one of newt's memories. This included seeing Yunan being a violent child, Yunan clawing her way out of a beast when she was four, Yunan giving a young Lady Olivia a wedgie, training to become a soldier, befriending another newt, trying to save a newt who fell into lava, scourging through the sand, defeating Ragnar the Wretched, being promoted to the rank of general by King Andrias, fighting Sasha and Grime, facing her biggest fear, watching Marcy being possessed by the Core, being tortured by Andrias for her treachery and finally, drinking tea aggressively with Odalia Blight. The mind reading witch removed his thumb and smiled. "…..This."

Yunan was horrified by what the witch had done that she was sweating. "What was that?!"

"I read your memories." Malsacc replied smugly. "It appears you're looking for another human who has arrived in this realm. Sasha, wasn't it?"

"Yeah." Yunan replied.

"My condolences to what happened to Marcy." Malsacc said. "I….." The Golden Guard then turned to his soldiers. "Listen, if you tell your soldiers to back down, my soldiers will do the same."

"Back down bots!" Yunan commanded, making her robots lower their weapons.

"Same for you!" Malsacc requested. "I'm having a conversation. Look, condolences for what happened to Marcy. A girl like her should not go through such trauma like that. But, she isn't my concern at the moment, my concern and your concern are the box. I want that box, you want that box and someone is trying to stop us from gaining it. So for now, how's about we call a truce? Once Sasha and Grime are dealt with, we'll have the box. Who will end up having it though, will be up to us to decide. So, what do you say Yunan?" Malsacc offered his hand out for Yunan to shake.

The newt general seemed reluctant since she wasn't so sure if he'll just betray her. But, she knew the battle will continue if there is no truce. "You have yourself a truce." She offered him her hand but she realised it was frozen, startling her and Malsacc.

"Uh…"

"Uh, cold climate!" Yunan then smashed the ice on her chest and wiped the snow off her armour. "Least I can just pull myself out."

"Troops, I have an important announcement!" Malsacc yelled. "Me and General Yunan have agreed to a truce. We are going to be hunting a human named Sasha Waybright and a toad named Captain Grime before they can get their hands on the box. As to who will end up with the box will be up to us to decide. So, respect her army and the general herself or otherwise, I will bathe in your dirty memories. Do you understand?!"

"Yes sir!" The Soldiers yelled.

"Good." Malsacc responded. "So, where do we start Yunan?"

Just then, one of the soldiers ran up to them. "Sir, we found some prints in the snow."

The soldier lead the two leaders to the spot where Sasha, Hunter, Amity and Luz were watching, but they didn't know it was them. Yunan then got down on knee to analyse their tracks.

"You're a tracker, what is it?" Malsacc asked.

"Two of them belong to humans. One definitely Sasha. Then, there's two I'm not familiar with." Yunan then looked at Malsacc and analysed him. "Possibly similar to you, but they're younger. One being rather scrawny."

"Oh, he lives." Malsacc whispered.

"Sorry?"

"Where are they?" Malsacc asked.

"Follow those footprints." Yunan replied before she, Malsacc and their respective soldiers started following her.

Meanwhile, Luz and Hunter were walking deeper in the cave to hopefully find anything that resembled the box, but they haven't found anything. They had been walking deeper for who knows how long but they knew they had to find it at some point.

Luz was quickly running out of light glyphs while Hunter was getting tired from all the walking. "Uh…."

"My Mama used to say, groaning won't get you anywhere faster." Luz retorted.

"How are you patient?" Hunter asked.

"I'm not." Luz replied. "I'm tired of walking, I'm almost out of glyphs to light our way. I just hope Amity's doing okay."

"So, you didn't dump your girlfriend?" Hunter asked. "I thought you would have dumped her after she didn't return with the Titan blood and lost the key."

Luz narrowed her eyes at Hunter. "No. I wouldn't do that to her. She's an awesome girlfriend whether she fails me or not."

"What?!" Hunter asked.

"Look, I don't know how relationships work where you're at but with me it's about trust and honesty." Luz explained. "I don't care if she fails me, I only care for her safety. I bet your boss won't care if you're dead."

"He probably won't." Hunter said shamefully. "He wasn't even proud of me for retrieving the key. He just locked me in my room after a tense scolding. It was probably because of that little crack that was on the key which appear to have some of the blood missing."

"I used it already." Luz replied. "Didn't work so…Wait, what does Belos want the Titan blood for?"

"That's classified." Hunter replied.

Luz narrowed her eyes at Hunter, knowing he wasn't being honest. "Yeah….."

"Why do you want the key?" Hunter asked.

"I just wanna get home."

"Uh huh." Hunter motioned her to continue.

"But I never got there. I ended up in a realm in-between where I could only communicate with my Mama through the reflection." Luz looked sad as she remembered the promise she had to make. The look on Luz's face never went unnoticed by Hunter.

"You didn't like seeing your mother again?" Hunter queried.

"It wasn't like that!" Luz replied. "I just….We just had a conversation that was…A little tense. I said some things, there were tears…."

"There was a promise." Luz froze when Hunter mentioned promise. "Human, don't fool me. I know a look on someone's face when I see one. You've made a promise that you can't keep. Or perhaps, you made a promise, you just haven't told anyone about it." This made Hunter smile. "You haven't even told her." Luz was already getting angry at Hunter for perfectly predicting what was going on through her mind right now. "And I thought being in a relationship was about trust and honesty."

"You're stepping over a line." Luz said while readying a glyph to throw at Hunter.

"Am I?" Hunter asked. "Do you even wanna go home? Or do you wish to stay here? You know deep down you wish to stay here to be at Hexside and to make out with your girlfriend 24/7. But on the other hand, you did make a promise to someone about being in a place you don't wish to be. But you know, if you take one of those options you'll be breaking someone's hearts. And I thought you were selfless. But no matter what decision you make, someone will see you as spiteful."

Just then, the light glyph went out at the perfect moment. Since Luz had tears falling from her face and she didn't want that stupid golden guard to see it. Once she was sure the tears were gone, she pulled out another light glyph and activated it. The light shone as it turned out that there was now a pale monster in front of her. This sight caused Luz to scream and fall.

The creature was pale, had pointy ears, sharp fangs, pale eyes, a small nose, sharp claws on their hands and feet. It hissed as more them started crawling on the ceiling above Hunter and Luz. These were the creatures were what the sign warned about. The vampires.

But before Hunter could pull out Lil' Rascal, one of the vampires quickly grabbed the Palisman. Then a number of vampires pounced on Hunter, rendering him helpless while doing the same to Luz.

"Ah! Please don't suck our blood!" Luz pleaded.

"Suck her's!" Hunter suggested.

"That will be up to the Queen to decide." The vampire hissed. "Queen Vlad, will decide."

"We mean no trouble." The terrified Luz said. "We only came for a box."

"That will be up to the Queen to decide." The vampire reminded her. "Now move."

The vampires pulled Luz and Hunter up and started to shove them deeper into their lair to meet their leader.

"Come on Amity." Luz whispered to herself. "Where are you?"

Meanwhile, Amity was texting Luz on the tamagotchi but she wasn't responding for whatever reason. Sasha had her hand on her sword just in case any vampires came their way. Even with the essence of light beside them, she was sure that the vampires would pop out of nowhere and try to suck their blood.

"Come on Luz, where are you?" Amity asked. "Answer me. I'm getting worried!"

"Hey Amity, do you mind?" Sasha whispered. "We don't know if we'll wake the vampires."

"Good point." Amity agreed.

"Hey, we're stuck together." Sasha remarked. "And not once have you actually been suspicious of me."

"I can't be suspicious of you right now since my girlfriend is stuck with one of the worst people I have ever met." Amity said. "If he has laid a finger on her then I will tear him apart! I almost killed him once so I won't be afraid to do it."

Sasha was amazed by this info. "Wow, love the commitment. A girlfriend who'd kill to protect the one she loves. Shame none of my exes were like that. All they wanted was to impress me by sucking up to me no matter what I do."

"Wow, sounds rather toxic." Amity replied.

"Yeah, no wonder Anne doesn't want to be my friend anymore." Sasha said sadly. "She probably won't forgive me. She probably hates me. I mean, I wish I was forced to be awful to be my friends. But it was all me. I decided to be horrible. I sometimes just wish I could just…Never exist."

Amity sighed. "Sasha, that won't help. It's equally bad. But look on the bright side: You're willing to change and maybe Anne will understand."

"Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen." Sasha replied.

"Hey, maybe it won't happen right away." Amity mused. "Maybe, it'll take time for a relationship like yours to be fixed. I mean, it took time for me and Willow to fix things but it worked. So, I do think you'll eventually fix things with Anne."

"Least you think so." Sasha replied. "When I get back to Earth. I am going to try and fix things with her." Sasha then remembered something. "Hey, Luz hasn't mentioned about what happened to her at the human realm. Did things go well between her and her mom?"

Amity sighed. "She….Hasn't…She hasn't told me, Eda, King or Hooty about what had happened."

"Oh." Sasha responded. "Any reason?"

"I don't know." Amity admitted. "I told her that she should take her time and I will be there when she tells me. But, every time I bring it up she just seems uncomfortable. I mean, honesty is important in a relationship and I thought Luz knew that."

"Could it be that it's something so bad that she is worried that she would hurt you?" Sasha theorised.

"What makes you say that?" Amity asked.

"It seems likely, but I hope it's not true." Sasha replied. "Same thing happened between me, Anne and Marcy. She didn't tell us she knew about the music box because she didn't want to lose me or Anne. Maybe she doesn't want to tell you about what happened in the realm because she is scared that you'd be hurt."

Amity started pondering whether Sasha was right about her girlfriend. "What happened there?" Amity asked herself. But before she continued to think, vampires pounced off of the ceiling.

Amity readied her Abominations while Sasha pulled her sword out just as the vampires quickly surrounded them.

"Well, took you long enough." Sasha remarked.

"Do you have a plan of escape?" Amity asked.

"Well, I was planning to use my sword. Then I realised it wasn't silver. Do you have a plan B?"

Before Amity could reply, the wall exploded revealing sunlight that blinded the girls. While the girls were blinded, the vampires were not so lucky since the sun itself had burnt them all into nothing but skeletal remains.

The girls got a look at their rescuers and it turned out to be none other than King Andrias' robot solders, the Emperor's soldiers, Malsacc and General Yunan.

The two reluctant allies smiled sinisterly at their targets with Yunan activating her wrist blades and aiming them at the girls. "Hello there." Yunan greeted.

Sasha turned to Amity and whispered, "Do you have another plan B?"

The girls did not expect this. One minute, they were about to have their blood sucked out by bloodthirsty vampires; The next, the walls burst down and General Yunan was standing in front of them with her robot army and someone else beside her.

Sasha pulled her sword out while Amity formed her abomination into a sword as well, ready to use if things go south. Which seemed inevitable.

"Hello Sasha!" Yunan greeted. "Surprised to see me?"

"Seeing as I decapitated one of your friends yesterday, not really." Sasha replied.

"And I assume you're Amity." Yunan remarked. "Your family told me a lot about you. They were rather….interesting." The cotton candy haired teen only clenched her abomination sword harder in response.

"Well, introductions are over." Malsacc said.

"But I haven't done my speech." Yunan took a deep breath to do her long speech, but Malsaac pressed his hand on her mouth.

"She is general Yunan and she is important." Malsacc interjected. "She has made many achievements and killed a sand beast or whatever. But not as important as the box. Where is it?"

"I wish we'd knew." Sasha replied.

"Even though we don't know where it is, you'll never get it." Amity said.

The little comment only made Malsacc smile sinisterly as he pulled his sword out. "Do you really want it to go this way, Blight? I mean after all, you wouldn't want your girlfriend to be hurt.”

The threat made on Luz made Amity gasp and clench to her sword harder. While Sasha pulled out her second sword since she was anticipating that after that comment, things were going to be messy.

"If you lay a finger on her, you will not be walking out of this one, alive." Amity threatened the former Golden Guard.

"It's not my finger you should be worried about. It's my thumb." Malsacc said. "Here's a demonstration."

Sasha only span her swords while walking up to him, to steer him away from her and Amity. She turns to the witch. "Amity, go and make sure Luz is okay. I'll hold them off."

"You sure you'll be okay?" Amity asked.

Sasha smirked at the witch. "Trust me."

Amity reluctantly gave Sasha a nod before running off to find her girlfriend. The Emperor's soldiers were about to go after her, but Malsaac raised his hand to not go after her. "Yunan….."

"Thinking the same thing." Yunan said. "Can a few of you go after that elf and bring her back?"

The robots nodded their heads and started going after the witch. While Sasha stayed behind to fight Yunan and Malsacc.

Sasha and Malsacc walked in a circle like pattern while staring down at each other, waiting for the first one to strike the first blow. But both of them had plenty of combat training so they know to let their enemy strike first, whoever it may be.

The soldiers were betting on who would strike first, the robots were just watching the spectacle that was about to commence while Yunan was getting impatient.

"You gonna strike first?" Sasha asked.

"I would." Malsacc replied. "But why should I be the one to strike first?"

"Because you have a sword." Sasha replied. "I mean dude, that's sword fighting in general."

The newt general was tapping on her armour as her patience began to dwindle away slowly.

"You can strike me first." Malsacc said. "I know more stuff than you do."

"You don't know me." Sasha said. "Unless you read General Yunan's mind I don't know how you can."

"You're rather confident." Malsacc remarked. "What if I did?"

"He did! Can you stop the bantering so I can see some slashing?!" Yunan asked. "I have bets on Sasha starting first!"

Meanwhile, Amity was running down a tunnel to find her girlfriend while being followed by the robots who were careful enough to not blast the cave, in fear that it could collapse on them.

They fired some stun beams, but Amity quickly formed an Abomination shield, protecting herself from the blast.

A robot then ran up to her and tackled the witch to the ground but she managed to impale it in the chest and used the Abomination to move it out of the way so she wouldn't get crushed under its heavy weight. She then managed to deal with the rest of the robots by slicing the two in half, split down in the middle with ease.

Amity smirked at her success. "All too easy." She then pulled out her tamagotchi to try contacting Luz again, but it was broken. "Aww, come on!" The witch quickly picked up her Palisman and started running to get to her girlfriend on time. "Luz, you better be okay."

Meanwhile, Sasha and Malsacc were continuing waking around in a circle with their swords at the ready while Yunan was gritting her teeth with impatience.

"And how does reading Yunan's mind affect me?" Sasha asked.

"Because I saw what happened with Marcy." Malsacc replied sinisterly.

The mere mention of Marcy not only made Sasha grip on her sword harder, but it made Yunan's impatience disappear since she saw what had happened to her that day. When the Core possessed her right in front of her own eyes. It was traumatising to say the least.

"You are walking over a line, you pointy eared witch." Sasha said to him. "You don't cross a line like that."

"I saw what happened to your friend." Malsacc smiled under his mask. "I saw her. That helmet lowering onto her head as she stared at it, terrified of what might happen. Then when she lost her mind and soul, she screamed in pain as she vanished into nothing. Replaced by a superior being. A sweet little girl who loves her friends, gone forever."

Sasha was about to leap into action but Yunan was the one instead and tackled Malsaac to the ground that he lost his mask. Then, she tried to stab him in the face with her wrist blades.

But the witch quickly used his sword to block the blades from hitting his face and kicked her off of him. Sasha tried to do the same but Malsacc rolled to the right, quickly jumped up and aimed his sword at them.

"Yunan, why the sudden treachery?" Malsacc asked.

"You crossed the line." Yunan replied. "You shouldn't have said anything about that poor girl."

Sasha gave the newt General nod which she returned, knowing that they were now working together.

Sasha then tried to slash Malsacc who deflected the blades while Yunan tried to slice him, but he deflected by using his armour.

Malsacc deflected the two's many attacks, effortlessly like had had fought them before. Yunan then tried to slice the witch's neck but he bent his back. This gave Sasha the perfect opportunity to kick him in the leg, causing him to fall.

The witch quickly casted a spell that made a blinding flash, blinding Yunan whilst Sasha quickly closed her eyes.

The toad lieutenant opened her eyes and saw a blade coming close to her eye which she quickly deflected. Now, she and the Golden Guard were clashing their blades together while narrowing their eyes at each other.

"Hmm, I could have taken your eye out." Malsacc remarked.

"Yeah, that's what everyone says." Sasha retorted before kicking the witch in his side and tried to slice his head in two.

Malsacc, being the great swordsman that he is, quickly deflected the blade and used the opportunity to press his thumb against Sasha's forehead. Their pupils dilated as Malsacc started to read the human's memories.

Through the flashes, Malsacc saw Sasha taking her first steps with her parents encouraging her, her and her parents at the zoo together, Sasha dumping her first boyfriend at three years old, Sasha watching her parents argue through the bannisters, Sasha being forced to understand what divorce is by her dad, Sasha watching her dad drive away while she and her mom watched, Sasha meeting Marcy and Anne by taking out a few of their bullies, Sasha meeting her Dad's new girlfriend whom she didn't take a liking to, Sasha, Anne and Marcy hanging out the park together, convincing Anne and Marcy to do something stupid, arguing with someone about her blonde hair being natural, joining the cheerleading team, punching the head cheerleader in the face, texting Anne on her birthday about her gift, being sucked through the box, being Grime's prisoner, joining Grime's army, being reunited with Anne, fighting Anne, watching Suspicion Island with Grime while they were fugitives, reuniting with Marcy, losing Anne's friendship, discovering the truth about Marcy, seeing Marcy get stabbed, protecting Wartwood from Andrias' soldiers, helping Wally with writing a song about Sasha's escapades, talking to Mayor Toadstool about being a better mayor, talking to Ivy about her relationship with Sprig, planning the retrieval of the box, seeing Marcy being possessed, stealing the box and landing in the Demon Realm meeting Luz and Amity.

Malsacc removed his hand from Sasha's head and smiled, while she dropped to her knees with tears falling down her face. She gritted her teeth as she narrowed her eyes at him.

"WHY?! Why did you make me relive them?" Sasha asked angrily.

"I had to know you, Sasha." Malsacc replied. "I had to know you better so I could understand you. Now I do Waybright." He then turned to the blinded Yunan, whose vision had just recovered.

"Ha! You think you can blind General Yunan! You are-" Malsacc interrupted Yunan by stabbing her in the gut, causing the newt to collapse and for the witch to take Yunan's wrist device from her wrist.

"No!" Sasha screamed in horror while the robots aimed their blasters at the witch, while Malsacc's soldiers aimed their staffs at the robots so they wouldn't blow him away.

"Sasha, I can understand what your intention was when you wanted your friends to be together." Malsacc said. "Your toxicity towards them. You just didn't want to split them up the same way your parents did. Loneliness is tough, I understand. You'd feel like you're nothing without your friends. I forgot who I was after I was stripped of the title of Golden Guard by the Emperor. We're not so different you and I, Sasha. You feel you'll lose something and you'll do everything to keep them."

"How are we the same?!" Sasha exclaimed. "It doesn't make sense. Friends and a stupid title are two entirely different things!"

"The golden guard isn't stupid!" Malsacc said through gritted teeth. "What I'm suggesting Sasha, is a proposal." The witch pushed a button on the wrist device, but it caused him to be electrocuted. "Uh…..Blights." He then pushed another button, and the robots lowered their weapons. That's because, he is wearing the wrist device so it means they now see him as their leader.

"Robots, take my crew out." The robots did as Malsacc commanded and used their lasers to stun the Emperor's soldiers, causing them to collapse. The betrayal was so unexpected that they didn't have any time to defend themselves.

"What?! Why did you get rid of your crew?!" Sasha asked angrily. "I get they're possibly stronger but….I wouldn't treat the weakest toad soldiers like that!"

"Listen Sasha, I only did that because it's part of my proposal." Malsacc explained. "I want to revenge on the Emperor, you want your friends together. I will help you gain that, if you help me kill the Emperor. The Emperor comes first. He replaced me with a stupid scrawny teenager all because I made one mistake. After we gain the Calamity Box, we will travel to Amphibia and kill Andrias so we can rescue Marcy. Then, we take Marcy to Earth so we can gain Anne. Then, we will use the Box to travel to different universes so we can rule side-by-side. You, me, your friends; Together forever. Join me Sasha, and together, we will make sure you'll never lose your friends."

Sasha only leered at the witch. "My friends will never join you. I will never join you."

Sasha's decline only angered Malsacc as he lifted his sword upwards. Sasha was about to grab her swords but he quickly kicked them away before she had the chance. He then sliced his sword downwards, slicing Sasha in her left eye.

She screamed in pain as she used her hand to cover her bloody eye. "My eye! My eye!" Sasha screamed.

"A reminder as to what you have missed." Malsacc said. "You, watch her. She only has one eye, she'll be easy to defeat. The rest of you follow me, we are going to get that box."

Malsacc and his robot army started strolling down the same tunnel that Amity ran down to find the box, all while Sasha screamed in pain.

Meanwhile, Luz and Hunter were still being pushed by the vampires towards their leader, Queen Vlad. The human witch was struggling to get her tamagotchi so she could tell her girlfriend that she was okay, but the vampires had a strong grip on her shoulder.

"She's probably dead anyway." Hunter theorised. "You heard that explosion."

"She is not dead!" Luz snapped. "I have a feeling she isn't dead."

"Uh, I hate couples sometimes." Hunter grumbled. "You always act like you have this sixth sense about each other. I mean, it's not real."

"That's because you've never been in love." Luz's retorted made the vampires exclaim.

"Nice one!" The vampire said.

"Thank you." Luz said.

"Shame we might have to suck your blood."

"Well, at least you're remorseful."

Sitting on a throne room made out of bones, sat a pale female looking vampire who looked like the others but she appeared to have had a bit of a larger weight than the others. She took a handful of what appeared to be red water as she rubbed it on her pale, bald head.

"Uh….Queen Vlad?" Luz said.

"You're human." The vampire spoke in a high pitched rough voice that appeared to have demanded attention.

"You can suck her blood, I don't care." Hunter's suggestion made Luz narrow her eyes at him.

"I do not need blood." Queen Vlad said. "I have eaten plenty. Plenty of mouse rats to be specific."

Luz and Hunter were both feeling intimidated by the Queen vampire. Not only was she hidden by darkness, making her very intimidating, she spoke in deep high pitched voice which only added to how eerie she was.

"Listen, all I want is the box." Luz explained. "There's a human here who only wants to-"

"Another human?" The queen interjected.

"Yeah, she wants to go home to-"

"Please." Queen Vlad said. "I don't need explanations. I understand why you want the box. I know it's not mine. I wanted it in before the rain could melt it away. It looked way too important."

"So, you'll give it to me?" Luz asked.

"In exchange." Queen Vlad replied. "What treasures do you humans carry? It would satisfy my collection."

"Her blood could be sufficient." Hunter suggested.

"No, I already had my taste of human blood." Queen Vlad replied. "I want something from the human realm for my collection."

Luz could have traded her phone, but it was at The Owl House so she couldn't. "Well, how about I trade my human earrings?"

”Earrings?" Vlad then moved out of the shadows to reveal her black lips, blood red eyes, chipped pointy ears and drool coming out of her mouth. "You think earrings will suit me?"

"Girl, I think they'll do well with those ears."

"Those earrings won't even suit her." Hunter said.

"Cool it, I'm trying to make a deal." Luz whispered angrily.

"I do not need earrings. They won't suit my crooked ears." Queen Vlad responded.

"Uh, for goodness sake." Luz groaned. "I don't have anything else besides my clothes."

"I doubt anyone would want your clothes." Hunter said. "Could someone at least take her shoes? It'll be quite the spectacle trying to walk in snow with her bare feet."

Luz narrowed her eyes at Hunter. "Why can't you shut up?"

"Mistress, she has something she could exchange the box for." One of the vampires said.

"She does?" Queen Vlad asked.

"She does, Queen." Hunter replied before putting his hand in Luz's pocket and pulled out the tamagotchi she uses to communicate to Amity with.

"Hey!"

"What is that?" The Queen asked, intrigued with the artefact that Hunter was presenting.

"It's like a scroll, only not made out of paper but with the same functions." Hunter explained.

"Hunter, what are you doing?" Luz asked with a hint of anger.

"You wanted the box, I'm gonna get you the box." Hunter replied.

"Hunter, Amity will worry." Luz argued.

"Hmm, good point." Hunter said. "But, without the box Sasha will not get home to stop Andrias and his army from invading. And Malsacc will sure have it and hand it to the Emperor. And you know what, it won't be fitting if I gave it up, perhaps it'll be better if you do."

Hunter hands Luz the cat phone which she took. She stared at it, knowing that Amity could be worried sick. But, she knew that Sasha's quest is more important so she walks up to the vampire queen and hands her the device which the vampire queen accepted and handed the human the box.

"You two better leave." The vampire queen suggested before jumping on the ceiling with her vampire children. "I sense that something has killed most of my children. Use the box wisely, human." The vampires crawled away into some holes leaving Luz and Hunter alone.

Then, the rocks around them started glowing into all colours of the rainbow. Luz stared at the box feeling guilty over trading her only contact with Amity. At least it was for a good cause.

"At least it was for a good cause." Luz said to herself. "Lo siento Amity. Please be okay, Carino."

"She could be alive." Hunter theorised. "But if she's dead, then she's dead."

"Don't you dare say that about her!" Luz yelled. "She is alive!"

"Your sixth sense doesn't convince me." Hunter said. "What will make me be convinced that your girlfriend is still alive?"

Just then, someone hit a rock against Hunter's head. "Ow!"

"Excuse me, who keeps saying I wasn't?" Amity asked with a smug smile on her face.

Before Amity could approach Luz, she jumped out of nowhere and tackled her in a massive hug. "Amity! I'm so glad you're okay."

"Same as you." Amity replied, returning the hug.

"Why didn't you respond?" The girlfriends asked each other simultaneously before erupting into giggles. But they soon stopped.

"It got destroyed." Amity soon replied. "You?"

"I was held captive by vampires and I traded mine for the box." Luz pulled out the Calamity box from her coat and showed it to Amity.

The witch was mesmerised by the box. It looked beautiful that she was rather tempted to open it. But she was smart enough not to. "So you traded our way of communicating for the box?"

"Are you angry?" Luz asked.

"If it was for a necklace I'd be furious." Amity replied. "But, at least it's for Sasha." It was at this moment, Amity realised something. "Oh no! Sasha!"

"Wait, where is she?" Hunter asked as Luz and Amity quickly stood up.

"She told me to run while she dealt with Malsacc and General Yunan." Amity replied. "She better be okay."

"Well let's go!" Luz started to run towards the tunnel that Amity went through but was stopped when someone pressed their thumb against her forehead.

Malsacc had arrived. He smiled sinisterly at the human. "What have we got in your brain?"

"Luz!" Amity screamed in horror.

Malsacc's pupils dilated as well as Luz's as the witch started to read deep into her memories.

The witch saw toddler Luz taking her first steps towards a man holding his arms out while her mother was filming the whole thing, a young Luz opening a present which had a cute dog-like creature, Luz being talked to by a man with stubble and glasses, a young Luz running down the corridor of the hospital crying, young Luz looking at a gravestone marked Manny Noceda, a young Luz reading the Good Witch Azura, Luz being laughed at by a girl while holding out a rose, making her spider breathed griffin, doing the eye thing that freaked everyone out, being scolded by her mother, running after Owlbert for stealing her book, meeting Eda, cuddling King, meeting Willow and Gus, her first confrontation with Amity, meeting the Owl beast, showing Amity the first spell she made, that time she was in Eda's body, getting a bit closer with Amity, confronting her Grom fear, dancing with Amity at Grom, seeing Eda get captured by her sister, confronting the Emperor and damaging his mask, destroying her only way back to the human realm, meeting the Golden Guard, being kissed on the cheek by Amity, talking with Hunter, getting together with Amity, discovering the truth about Vee, her talk with her mother and the promise she made and declining to talk to Amity about the Human Realm.

Malsacc let go of Luz's head and smiled sinisterly before kicking her in the face, causing her to crash beside Hunter and Amity, whom were being held down by two of the remaining 23 robots. Luz dropped to her knees and started tearing up. "What did you do?!" Luz asked angrily.

"I read your mind Luz Noceda." Malsacc replied while picking up the box. "Oh boy, what an interesting trip down memory lane." Malsacc chuckled.

"Where is Sasha?" Amity asked. "What did you do to her?"

"First, Yunan died being a treacherous newt." Malsacc replied. "And Sasha…" He chuckled. "….I don't think she'll be seeing all of you very soon."

"You monster!" Amity clenched her teeth in anger but calmed when she saw Luz shedding tears.

"What did he see to make you react this way?" Hunter asked.

"She doesn't wish to talk about it." Malsacc replied. "Let alone to poor Amity."

Amity leered at Malsacc before glancing at Luz with a confused look. "Luz, what is he talking about?"

"You won't know, because she refuses to tell you." Malsacc continued. "Not just you, but Eda, King, Gus, Willow and Hooty. A certain promise."

"Shut up!" Luz yelled.

"A promise to your own…."

"Shut up!"

"….mother that as soon…"

"Shut up!"

"…as you rebuild…."

"Shut up!"

"….a portal back to…."

"Shut up! Shut up!"

Luz being stressed out made Amity worry while Hunter was watching with a curious expression. Amity knew her girlfriend could be angry and stressed, but she didn't know she would go this far.

"….your world and leaving…."

"SHUT UP!" Luz screamed before throwing a fireball glyph that Malsacc deflected like it was nothing. Luz screamed as she charged at Malsacc but a robot quickly grabbed ahold of Luz by her arm where she struggled to break free.

Malsacc walked up to Luz and moved his face closer to her own and smiled. "Leaving everyone behind."

Amity didn't know what Malsacc was talking and wasn't so sure she really wanted to know judging by Luz's reaction. "Luz, what is he talking about?"

"Perhaps I haven't given much clarity." Malsacc said as the robots surrounded the perimeter. "Do you want to say it Luz?" Malsacc approached Amity and pulled out his sword with his other hand and placed it on her neck. "Or do you want me to slit her throat just spare her the pain of knowing the heartbreaking promise you were forced to make?"

"Luz, tell me what promise did you make.” Amity pleaded.

Luz sighed. "When I was in the Human Realm, I made a promise to my mom to stay there when I get a working portal up again."

"Oh….okay." Amity responded. "I mean, you can still visit right?"

Luz gave her girlfriend a sad look that essentially answered her question. It wasn't like that whatsoever. "I think it implies I'll stay in the Human Realm and never return."

Amity was saddened by this revelation, Hunter just pulled a deadpanned expression while Malsacc just smirked sinisterly, happy with what he had concocted.

"Luz, why would you?!" Amity asked, tears about to fall.

"Amity, I didn't mean to make that promise!" Luz explained. "I was being pulled away and I didn't have time to explain to my mom!"

"But….But, you made a promise where I won't be able to see you again!" Amity yelled, tears falling down her face. "But not just me! Willow, Gus, Eda, King, are you just going to throw them away?! Are you going to throw me away?!"

"Amity! I don't want to!" Luz protested, tears falling down her face. "Just let me explain Amity…."

Amity was too upset to listen to reason. "Luz, I can't believe you made such a promise."

"I just…I just…..I just didn't want to break your heart." Luz then slumped her head down in shame.

Malsacc was enjoying every moment of this. Sinisterly smiling at this sight. "This seems more like something petty." Hunter said to Malsacc. "I may be younger than you, but I wouldn't stoop that low."

"Uh, boring." Malsacc retorted before lifting the box and spreading his arms out. "Now, with this box I will take over all sorts of universes. I will start in Amphibia and kill Andrias and take his army for myself. Then when I get to the Human Realm, I promise you Luz the human, that your mother will be the first person I take. And then, I will go after this Anne Boonchuy and put her arm on my wall as a trophy." Before Malsacc could have the chance to open the box, a robot took a glance at someone running down the tunnel with a sword in their hand.

Hunter, Luz and Amity stared at the golden guard in terror, fearing for their lives and worried what that sinister witch will do to them. Or they were when the one eyed Sasha popped out of nowhere and chopped Malsacc's box holding hand off.

The witch screamed in pain while Sasha, now wearing a white patch on the eye that was sliced off cringed in pain.

"Sasha!" Amity exclaimed happily.

"You're alive!" Hunter's happy exclamation made Amity take a questionable glance at him. He quickly pulled himself together. "Yeah….Of course you are. I had faith."

"You guys okay?" Sasha asked.

Luz took a concerned look at Sasha. "Never mind that, are you okay?"

"Do you wanna be rescued or do you wanna keep asking questions?" Sasha asked before pulling out a fire glyph from Luz's pocket and placed it on the robot's face, causing it to explode and to let go of Luz.

Malsacc had his remaining hand on his handless hand to stop the bleeding and he turned to his solders. "What are you waiting for?! Attack them! You don't need me to tell you!"

In that moment, Amity quickly formed an abomination to blind the robot, causing it to free her. She then used the abomination to form a blade that she used to stab the robot in the eye.

Lil' Rascal flew into Hunter's hand and turned into a staff which he used to teleport out of the robot's grasp and hit it in its face.

Sasha, despite only having one eye, quickly sliced a few robots as she ran to grab the Calamity Box. She picked it up and carefully removed Malsacc's sliced off hand off of it.

"NO!" Malsacc screamed as he picked up his sword with his only hand.

"Uh oh." Sasha responded before turning to Hunter, whom was fighting one of the robots. "Hunter! Catch!"

Hunter teleported and managed to catch the box. Before Malsacc could slice him, Sasha managed to save Hunter by using her sword to deflect it. She tried to punch Malsacc, but she missed due to her eye coordination not being good.

Malsacc smirked and punched Sasha in the face before trying to slice her in a downward motion, which Sasha quickly deflected.

The two continued their sword fight, managing to deflect each other's hits despite the fact both of them were missing one body part.

Despite having one hand to use, Malsacc deflected every one of Sasha's moves effortlessly. While Sasha, despite not hitting her intended target, still did her best to defend herself from Malsacc's blade.

"You think you can stop me with only one hand?" Sasha asked with a smug smirk.

"You think you can stop me with only one eye?" Malsacc retorted.

"Touché." Sasha said before charging at Malsacc.

While this continued, Hunter managed to defeat one of the robots by smashing their head with his foot and tearing out some wires from their neck. He then moved to the next one and teleported behind it to do the same thing.

Luz and Amity on the other hand, were dealing with some more of the robots. Amity managed to use an Abomination to make it slither into their inner mechanisms, causing its head to explode due to a lot of pressure. Luz used an ice glyph to impale the robot in the chest then used a fire glyph to make its head explode.

It was at this moment, one of the robots was about to blast Luz but Amity quickly saw it and dived into her girlfriend and formed a shield around them both.

Luz smiled at her girlfriend for the quick save she performed and sighed, knowing that there was still a problem that they needed to talk about. “Amity, I want you to know that….." Luz was cut off by a metallic fist breaking through the shield. The youngest Blight quickly used her abomination to form a sword to impale the robot in the chest before lifting it upwards, causing the oil to splatter on her face like it was blood.

"Luz, is this a really a good time to explain things?" Amity asked.

Just then, Hunter teleported around them where he kicked a robot across the face. "No better time." He replied.

"Actually, you do have a good point." Luz said to her girlfriend. "We'll wait."

"Take the box." Hunter handed Luz the box which the robots took notice of and started running toward her.

Luz panicked and started running while Amity made a shield around her girlfriend just to keep her safe from any of the blasts from the robots.

Luz made a quick slid on her knees and placed a fire glyph on one of the robot's chests, causing it to explode.

While the protection of the box continued, Malsacc and Sasha were still in their sword fight. She deflected every one of Malsacc's hits effortlessly, something that visibly frustrated him because he was now getting tired. But maybe it was because of the blood loss.

"You're going slow." Sasha remarked. "The way you're fighting, you'll probably lose."

"Even a one eyed, round eared creature like you may be strong enough to stop me." Malsacc then smiled. "But there's one thing that you and not even the Emperor caught on." He then threw his sword in the air, something that made Sasha look up. Then Malsacc drew a magic circle that blew up in Sasha's face, causing her to be shot backwards, knocking her out.

Before Malsacc caught his sword, he set his handless arm ablaze to stop the bleeding before catching his sword effortlessly.

But this sight of magic, didn't go ignored by Luz, Amity or Hunter who stared at the former golden guard with shocked expressions. He smiled sinisterly at the three and spun his sword. "And you wonder why I captured wild witches effortlessly."

"Y-You're a wild witch." Hunter said.

"But….You're part of the mind reading coven." Amity said. "You're marked."

"The Emperor may be powerful, but he can not tell the difference between a wild witch or a Coven member." Malsacc said.

"So….You've been using your wild magic just to capture wild witches?" Luz asked.

"Belos never wanted to weaponise it to find witches." Malsacc said. "So, I did it without him knowing. Now, I don't need my robots for now. So…" Malsacc then fired a fireball at the group, which they dodged as fast as they could.

Luz was about to use a glyph but Malsacc quickly set it ablaze. Amity tried to summon an Abomination but Malsacc controlled it instead and made a fist that punched her in the face.

Hunter teleported behind him but Malsacc then made multiple copies of himself to put the young Golden Guard off.

"Over here." They all said before the real Malsacc knocked Hunter out with the handle of his sword.

Luz threw the box to her girlfriend which she caught at the same time as she got up. The human witch ran up towards the golden guard but he quickly used his magic to teleport her to another section of a cave, that made her crash face first into the stone wall.

"Luz!" Amity screamed as she ran up to her girlfriend. But before she could get to her girlfriend, one of the robots moved its arm in front of Amity's face, causing her to crash into it.

The robot picked up the box and held up for their master to see. The witch sees this and used his magic to make it hover towards him. He looked around at all the unconscious teenagers, knowing that he had won the duel for the box. And surprisingly with minimal casualties.

He heard the sound of someone stirring and smiled when he saw that it was Sasha that was the one. "Someone hasn't had enough." He ran up to Sasha and kicked her in the face before she could get up fully.

"Why?" Asked the weary Sasha.

"It is my will." Malsacc only responded. "You know, I realise I could go a lot easier and start with something small. Your friend is possibly weak without her powers. And judging by your memories, it appears they only activate through emotions. So, she's at her most vulnerable at this moment. Perhaps I can pay her a visit? I'll tell her you wish you could have seen her before I take her arm and stick it to my wall. It'll be….." But Malsacc stopped talking when he saw something strange happening to Sasha and started backing off, carefully.

Because Sasha had a glow that was a mixture of dark red and light pink all around her body. Her hair had also been affected and was moving like some kind of bush fire. Her only eye started glowing the same colours as she stood up and narrowed her eyes at the witch.

"Stay….Away….From….Her!" Sasha demanded.

"What?! What?!" Exclaimed a terrified Malsacc before turning to the robots. "Shoot her! Shoot her!"

The robots all aimed their weapons at the human but she was quick and sped right past all the remaining soldiers, causing all of them to blow up.

Luz managed to reawaken herself, suffering a small nosebleed. She went wide eyed when she saw what was going on with Sasha and gasped. Amity soon stirred herself awake and went wide eyed when she saw what had happened to Sasha.

"Was I hit on the head really hard?" Amity asked. "When did Sasha begin to do that?"

It was at this moment, Luz knew what this was. "Anime powers."

Sasha screamed before disappearing, confusing Malsacc until she reappeared behind him and punched him in the back, shooting him forward and causing the box to fall out of his hand and to end up in Luz's hands.

Hunter soon woke up and saw what was going on. He too was amazed at what Sasha was doing. She was kicking Malsacc's butt and he was baring witness to it. "I guess humans are this powerful as well."

Sasha repeatedly punched Malsacc all over the different parts of his body that he was starting to become heavily beaten.

The all mighty Sasha stared down the the beaten witch whom was starting to stand back up, gritting his teeth. "I…..can not….be beaten." He started to form a ginormous fireball with his hands. "I will not be destroyed by a pathetic human!"

Amity was about to help Sasha, but Luz lowered her girlfriend's hand before she could form an abomination to help the human. "I think Sasha has this." Luz said.

Then, Malsacc stood up and fired a fireball at Sasha who in turn, caught it in her hands and crushed it, like it was nothing. She smiled at the witch. "My turn." Sasha said before pulling her arms backwards and fired a beam of dark red and light pink fiery beam that hit Malsacc. The witch didn't have time to block it as the fire took over his whole body. He screamed in pain as his whole body burnt into nothing but ash.

After Malsacc was surely dead, the glow around Sasha vanished and she collapsed, her hand landing on her sword.

Luz and Amity ran to Sasha and pulled her up. She slowly woke up, feeling very weak.

"What…what….happened?" Sasha asked.

"Sasha, you ever seen Dragonclaw X?" Luz asked.

"I'm aware of its popularity." Sasha replied weakly.

"Well, you went Super Mayin." Luz replied.

Sasha was quick enough to put the pieces together. So, she does have Anime powers just like Anne. And she whooped a witch's butt.

"Come on, let's get out of here." Luz said.

"And get to a healing Coven." Amity said. "We don't know how infected your eye could be."

When they turn around, they saw an un-burned Malsacc holding Hunter by his neck with his handless arm. The Golden Guard struggled to get out of his predecessor's grasp while the girls were shocked about him being alive.

"Aww come on!" Amity exclaimed.

"She burnt you into nothing!" Luz yelled.

"Illusions and invisibility." Malsacc replied as he placed his sword to Hunter's neck. "Or, I'll give him a scar that will take him away from you."

"The Emperor will hear about this!" Hunter exclaimed.

"I bet he will." Malsacc said. "Okay humans and Blight, you know what to do. Give me the box or else I will slit this scrawny waste's throat and I will put the blame on you. Perhaps my emperor will petrify you all. Just like the wild witches that fell."

"Belos will have you petrified as well!" Hunter pointed out. "You're a wild witch. Just like the Owl Lady."

"But my liege trusts me more." Malsacc pointed out. "You're just a waste of space in the Coven. Besides, Day of Unity approaches. I know how everything will play out. Even if you defeat me, even if you defeat Andrias, my liege will succeed in his plan. I know what will happen to all of you! I know what will happen to Belos! I know what will happen to me!"

Suddenly, Malsacc felt a sharp pain in his back, something that caused him to freeze, drop his sword and to let go of Hunter.

The current golden guard ran up to the girls and panting due to almost being killed as he watches who attacked Malsacc from behind.

There were familiar blades sticking out of his chest and a familiar pink newt wielding them. "I know you've ended up as one of my most successful kills." Yunan retorted before pulling her blades out of his chest, making him collapse.

Amity was ready to form an Abomination while Luz was about to pull out a glyph. But Sasha quickly motioned them to stop. "No. She's with us now."

"Really?" Amity asked, unsure of Yunan.

"How are you alive?" Sasha asked.

"Turns out the low temperature of this place made ice form underneath my armour." She taps it and cubes fell out of her sleeve. "I still have some. Anyway Sasha, why are you using my napkin as a band aid? And what did you use to stick it on?"

"Unfortunately I used your slime." Sasha replied. "But, I think it might cause some infection."

Just then, the sound of approaching footprints are heard which Hunter instantly recognised. "That's the Emperor's Coven. We need to get out, now."

"You kids get to a healing system." Yunan requested as she rudely shoved them out of her way. "I will hold them off."

"Okay, good luck." Hunter said before running off. "Byeeeeeeeeee!"

The girls narrowed their eyes at the retreating teen while Yunan just didn't know how to react. "Is he usually this obnoxious?"

"Uh huh." Amity replied.

Yunan smiled. "Ha! Just like me! Now go!"

Luz and Amity ran, while carrying the weak Sasha out of the cave to go to the healing Coven, while Yunan stayed back to take out the Emperor's Coven.

The soldiers all stopped once they saw Yunan approaching them with her wrist blades at the ready. "Do you have any idea who I am?"

"No." One of the soldiers replied.

Yunan cracked her neck, stretched her legs and clenched fists. "I am….."

An exhausted and bruised Luz and Amity were carrying the eyeless Sasha down the knee with Hunter following behind. He was feeding Lil' Rascal some bird feed he had in his pocket. He stroked the red bird's chin as he smiled.

"There, there. Thanks for the assist." Hunter said to his Palisman.

"Aww, you've grown attached to him." Luz cooed.

"Yeah." Hunter replied, shamelessly.

"What will you do when Belos finds it?" Luz queried. "He isn't going to be merciful towards you or him."

"He won't." Hunter replied. "Not to me at least. He'll kill Lil' Rascal than he does something to me. Perhaps give me another permanent mark."

Luz stared at Hunter, feeling sorry for him and what he was going through. Sure in some circumstances, failing someone would be a big deal. But with Hunter, failure meant getting hurt by the Emperor which was a whole lot worse.

"Hey Hunter, maybe you could give up being Belos' slave." Sasha suggested. "Soon I'll have to go back home to live a normal life. And when I'm gone from Amphibia, they won’t have a lieutenant to help them. How about I hand the role of toad lieutenant to you?"

"What makes you think I can lead a toad army?" Hunter asked.

"You're essentially second-in-command to the Emperor." Sasha replied. "But other than that, Grime will take good care of you. Like he did with me. He may seem rough but trust me, he is a big softie."

Hunter smiled at Sasha feeling at least a bit of assuring comfort. He wanted to trust her words. Being toad lieutenant and entrusted with this Grime character doesn’t sounds so bad. But he was kind of scared that his uncle would eventually find him and hurt this Grime and toad army in the process.

"We can't go to a Healing Coven." Hunter said.

"What?!" Sasha exclaimed. "Are you insane?!"

"Yeah, are you?" Amity asked.

"Haven't you realised that if you walk into a Healing Coven then they'll be asking questions and might report back to Belos once my presence is known?" Hunter said. "Or worse, Malsacc might be there."

"He does have a good point." Amity said. "Unfortunately. Luz, do you have any suggestions?"

Luz smiled. "Actually, I might know somebody."

Inside one of the many houses of Bonesborough, healing/beastkeeping Coven student, Viney, was busy reading a Healing Coven book while her pet griffin, Puddles retrieved a scalpel for her.

"Thank you Puddles." She said. "You're doing well. Now open wide, we gotta get that needle out." Puddles shook her head. "Come on Puddles. If you open your beak, I'll make you a worm fondue." Puddles then opened her beak and Viney started digging her way through her mouth to find a needle that the griffin had ate. "Ah, there we go." She then pulled out what appeared to be the needle. "We gotta practice carrying the stitchings a bit better."

She then heard a knock on the door, got off her couch and ran towards it to see who was there. She opened it and saw her detention Coven buddy, Luz with a few other people. "Luz! Great to…." She stopped talking when she saw who Luz and Amity were carrying. "Oh my Titan! Get her inside! She needs serious help."

Luz and Amity placed Sasha on the kitchen table while Viney put on some gloves and a surgical mask to make sure to not spread her germs and infect the missing eye.

"Will she be okay?" Luz asked while stuffing some cotton up her nose to stop the bleeding coming from there.

"I mean, sword to the eye is rough." Viney replied as she handed Amity an ice pack for her head. "It could take a lot of time and effort. Clean the infection and get it healed. From the looks of things, she's going to have a scar."

"Wow, that's awful." Luz said.

"Hey, scars are cool." Sasha argued.

"They aren't when they remind you of how you got them." Hunter said from the living room.

"Okay, I'll ask questions about the cute guy in the room later." Viney then shook her head. "Sorry, trying to learn to be professional. You two better sit down unless you have strong stomachs."

"Yeah, we have a few things to talk about anyway." Amity said. "Is there anywhere more private we can talk?"

"Sure, the basement is good." Viney replied. "Maybe I can help with couple's therapy if you like."

"You're fine." Amity said. "I just want the talk to be about us."

The girlfriends walked to have their inevitable conversation about the revelation Amity learnt from Luz while Viney started her work on Sasha.

"Okay Doc, give me the anaesthesia." Sasha said.

"The what?" Viney asked.

"The stuff to help me sleep through the pain." Sasha replied.

"Oh yeah." Viney then pulled out what appeared to be a snake from underneath the kitchen counter, causing Sasha to panic.

"Are you trying to kill me with that?!" Sasha exclaimed.

"It's a paralysis snake." Viney replied. "It won't make you sleep, but you'll be frozen for about an hour. Or….depending on the number of bites it does on you, maybe more. Plus, first time using this since I'm only a student."

"A student?!" Sasha exclaimed before the snake bit her hand, causing her to freeze.

"Yeah, sorry if they didn't tell you that." Viney said. "Anywho, here comes the nonexistent pain."

Down in the basement, Luz and Amity had just reached the bottom where many pieces of random junk like old family photos, trophies and even what appeared to be knights were there.

Amity made a wincing noise as she pressed the ice pack hard on her head. "How is it?" Her girlfriend asked.

"Just hurts a little." Amity replied. "Luz, I want us to talk about what happened when you saw your mom again. Please tell me, what was the promise you made?"

Luz frowned. "I saw how you'd reacted." She replied. "I don't know how to explain it without you getting angry and upset."

Amity gently took Luz's hand in her's and gave her a comforting smile. "I'll try and understand." She assured her. "I'll try."

"Okay, I couldn't see my Mama physically because I was stuck in a world between The Human Realm and The Demon Realm and I could only communicate through reflections like mirrors or windows." Luz explained. "And I might have pondered chatting to you."

"Why does that not surprise me?" Amity asked while smirking.

"Anyway, I eventually talked to Mom who didn't take me being in The Demon Realm too well." Luz explained. "And during our talk, I slipped and said to my mom that I chose to stay in The Demon Realm and she was upset. She blamed herself and it wasn't her fault! I tried telling her that but I was being pulled back and I didn't have time. And then, I was forced to make a promise to stay in The Human Realm when I get a working portal." It was at this moment Luz had tears falling down her face. "I never meant to hurt you Amity. I never meant to hurt Mom. I can't decide on my choices because no matter what decision I make, I'll just end up hurting someone close to me. I just…..I don't know if I can keep my promise!"

Amity hadn't said a word after Luz's explanation. She was just silent as she tried to take everything that her girlfriend had told her. Luz was a little angry at Amity's unresponsive response and narrowed her eyes at her.

"Well, aren't you angry?!" Luz asked angrily. "Aren't you angry that I made a decision that could mean I might never see you again?! Aren't you a little frustrated that I kept this from you?! Aren't you a little angry that I made such a stupid decision that you're not sure whether to trust me again?! Why aren't you angry?!"

Amity put the ice pack down on one of the boxes and wrapped her girlfriend in a massive hug, something that surprised her. "Because getting angry at you while you're hurting would make me an awful girlfriend."

Luz, surprised by the sudden comfort, gritted her teeth, returned the hug to her girlfriend and started sobbing into her shoulders. "Lo siento Amity! Lo siento!"

"I don't know what that means, but I assume it means you're sorry." Amity said as tears fell from her eyes. They stood like this for a few minutes before the witch said something. "Luz, while I want you to be here so I can walk to school with you everyday, I do think that you should stay in The Human Realm." Luz made a small gasp. "I'm not breaking up with you. I'd hate for us to do that. How's about, I come to The Human Realm with you so I can convince her for you to visit? I mean, she wouldn't keep us away would she?" Luz shook her head. "Look Luz, I don't know what our future holds and I'd hate for that future where we've been split apart because of the door being destroyed or because we realised that we aren't made for each other. Because those are futures I do not want to happen and I will do everything to have a happy future with you, Luz. Because you are one of the greatest people who has ever existed and I am glad that you were born." Amity placed a gentle kiss to Luz's forehead then going back to hugging her.

"Well, I'm glad you made up." Hunter interjected from the halfway point of the stairs. "But I think Viney is finished."

"In 6 minutes?" Amity asked.

"You were in there for two hours." Hunter informed them.

The girls couldn't quite believe it. Had it really been that long? Did they really spend two hours hugging each other?!

"I guess time flies when you're fixing things." Luz's remark made the two of them chuckle while Hunter rolled his eyes before going back upstairs.

About a few moments later, the girls walked back upstairs where they saw Sasha drinking a cup of warm tea while Viney was trying to flirt with Hunter.

"So….You're awfully strong for a scrawny guy. I swear that you could be The Golden Guard." Viney's flirtatious comment made Hunter feel a bit funny on the inside. He's never been flirted before so it felt kind of weird.

"Uh….Thanks." Was all Hunter could say.

"How was it?" Amity asked Viney.

"I cleared the infection and I did everything I could to heal the eye." Viney replied.

"And…." Luz asked.

Viney approached Sasha and gently tore the patch off where her bleeding eye was. The human toad lieutenant opened her eyes and turned to the girlfriends. Her iris was gone and the scar was in a lengthways direction; Making her look like Grime if he was human, blonde, taller and a female.

"How does it look?" Sasha asked.

"Hey girl, scars are cool." Luz said. "And honestly, it's not too bad."

"Least she didn't get it from family." Hunter said.

Sasha walked towards the mirror and looked at her eye. She thought the scar did damage her looks but she did agree with Luz, that scars do make people look cool and she was no exception. "Hey, I'm kind of like Grime."

"Sorry, I tried my best." Viney said.

"It's okay Viney." Sasha assured her. "You and your griffin did everything you could and I appreciate it."

"Thanks." Viney smiled.

"So, when are we going?" Hunter asked. "Don't we have a box to activate?"

Sasha then unclipped the box from her belt and lifted it to inspect it. She smiled when she saw that the gems were fully charged as opposed to being drained like they were in Amphibia. "Good." Sasha said. "Let's get going before Viney continues to flirt with Hunter."

"Hey…..did I at least do a good job?" Viney asked.

"You know Viney, I've seen worse from guys." Sasha replied.

At The Owl House, Eda, Raine, King, Grime and the other members of BATs were sitting on the couch waiting for the return of the girls. Eda and Grime looked worried while King was getting frustrated due to his lack of patience.

"Did they say when they'd be back?" King asked.

"Well, I hope their delay has a reason." Eda said. "Belos could have gotten the box by now."

"Hey Eda, I doubt Belos actually got the box." Raine assured their ex girlfriend. "I mean, if your sort of adopted daughter can go up against Belos and cause a scratch to his mask, then I don't doubt that she can find the box."

"So, now that you're rescued what's going to happen to you now?" Grime asked.

"What I usually do after I cause a prison break, stay here and let Hooty do the work." Eda replied.

Outside the house, the trusty house demon was having a tea party with the Emperor's soldiers, whom were there not on their own accord.

"And then I was like, Eda girl, you need to dye your hair because your grey hair makes you look like my grandma. Oh wait! I forgot to tell you about my grandma! Who made the best fly cookies in the Boiling Isles!"

"Make it stop!" One of the soldiers screamed.

"Well if you don't like that story then you'll love the tale of how Luz and Amity got together." Hooty said.

Back at The Owl House, Amber had suddenly attacked Eda with a massive hug which The Owl Lady seemed uncomfortable by due to the affection being rather sudden.

"I knew you hadn't given up on us." Amber said.

"Yeah. Hey, Luz didn't happen to teach you that did she?" Eda asked.

Raine smiled at their former girlfriend and chuckled. "So how's it feel to be a maternal figure?"

"Well, I never wanted kids but this feels nice." Eda replied. "Although, I doubt I could call myself a poster child for parenting."

"Same." Grime said.

"Anyway Eda, I think we need to talk." Raine said.

Amber unraveled herself from The Owl Lady and walked to Katya and Derwin, whom were looking out the window to see if anyone was coming.

"Uh oh, we need to talk." Grime sighed. "That doesn't sound good."

"We're not even together." Raine pointed out while them and Eda walked out of the living room to talk.

"Then this could be good!" Grime exclaimed. "Good luck kids!"

King groaned. "As much as them two are made for each other, they're going to be all mushy. And I was just not getting used to Luz and Amity."

In the kitchen, the two had just walked in to chat about what had transpired. Raine reached into the cabinet to find themselves anything that wasn't apple blood but couldn't.

"Eda, thank you." Raine said.

"Hey, I don't deserve all the credit." Eda retorted. "I mean, there's also King and Grime."

"They do." Raine agreed. "By the way, what was that?! I mean, your new Owl beast form? Is this a second stage of the curse?"

"You seemed to like it." Eda remarked. "I could see it in your face." Raine looked away from Eda to hide they were blushing. "Raine, I can see your reflection in the window. You are blushing."

"Eda!" Raine pouted.

Eda laughed. "I love breaking you."

"How did your hot…I mean, harpy form came to be?" Raine asked.

"Oh, me and the beast accepted each other." Eda replied. "Although, we do have to make a few deals with each other so we can accept one another. I had to eat a nest full of voles one time. Honestly, they're a lot better dead and cooked. But it's worth it just to see that adorable blushing look."

Raine playfully rolled their eyes while going red. "You're not going to let that go, are ya?"

"Not really." Eda replied as she approached Raine.

"Perhaps at some point….how's about we go out….as friends who repaired a broken relationship?" Raine asked. "I mean, I'd like a night of us doing nothing but flying together."

Eda smirked. "Did you just ask me out on a date?"

"I said as friends, Eda." They reminded her.

"Yeah. I'd like that." Eda responded before realising that she had took her former lover's hand in her's and quickly pulled back. "Sorry."

"That's fine." Raine assured her.

"Eda, Raine, finish your make out session because they have returned with…Eda prepare the defences!" King yelled from the living room. "They brought him!"

Eda froze, knowing who exactly King meant. She knocked on the wall. "Hooty, finish your tea party, that little twerp is with the girls."

Outside The Owl House, King had ran out with a concerned and angry look on his face as he approached the girls and Hunter, whom were close to the house but didn't walk through. "What are you doing?!" He asked angrily.

"Returning back." Sasha replied.

"Yeah, but why do you have him?!" King exclaimed.

"King, he isn't here to hurt us." Luz assured the little prince demon. "He doesn't want to live with Belos anymore."

"It's true." Amity confirmed.

"Well, he ain't coming in until he proves himself." King said.

"Fair enough." Hunter responded. "I was gonna stay out here anyway."

"Now I have a new friend!" Hooty exclaimed happily as he slithered back.

Hunter stared at Hooty with an uneasy expression. "Could you at least let me in?"

"Fine!" King groaned. "Please come in."

When they entered, Grime happily walked up to Sasha but it disappeared when he saw her eye. "What happened to your eye?"

Sasha sighed. "I lost it in a duel. The sword came down on me like a rocket."

"Well, I guess that makes us scar buddies." Grime said, trying to look on the bright side of things.

Sasha chuckled. "I don't mind the scar anyway. Makes me look cool."

An angry Eda and a nervous Raine, stomped into the living room with all eyes going to Luz. "You have done stupid things kid but this is…." She then noted Sasha's eye and narrowed her eyes at Hunter. "Did you do this?!"

"It was the original Golden Guard." Amity informed the Owl Lady.

"The original?" Eda chuckled. "I guess Belos got sick of his voice so he decided to let the pros handle things."

"Anyway Grime, I think it's time we get going." Sasha said.

"Yes." Grime agreed. "Do you mind if I say my goodbyes?"

"No." Sasha said. "I think we have earned it."

Grime approached Raine and gave them a handshake. "I wish we could have performed a duet together."

"And I thank you for rescuing me Grime." Raine responded before removing their hand from him and wiping mucus on their shirt. "That's disgusting."

"Yeah, wear gloves next time." Grime retorted.

"Nice job today, Grime." Eda said.

"You as well." Grime offered Eda a fist bump which she seemed confused by at first but she soon assumed that she was supposed to punch it and did just that.

"Ow! Not too hard!"

Luz quickly pulled Sasha into a hug, which she reacted to with a surprised look. She looked at Amity who only shook her head. "Let her, she's a hugger."

"Give Anne my best wishes." Luz said.

"I will." Sasha returned the hug before unwrapping herself from it and turned to Amity. "You aren't bad Amity."

"Thanks." Amity said. "I'm sorry for how we got off."

"You had every right to be judgemental." Sasha assured her. "And I apologise for going rough on ya. You're not bad, for an elf anyway."

Amity glared at Sasha. "Don't ruin the moment."

Sasha then turned to Hunter who was now holding the Calamity Box and aiming his Palisman at her with a serious look. Everyone but Eda were surprised by the sudden betrayal of Hunter, especially Luz who thought he was going to change.

"What are you doing?!" Sasha exclaimed in shock.

"I can't betray him!" Hunter cried, fear and anxiety in his voice. "Do you have any idea what he'd do to me?!"

"Hunter, me and Grime will protect you." Sasha assured him.

"You think a toad is strong enough against him?!" Hunter asked. "He is pathetic compared to him!"

"Right here." Grime said.

"I need the box!" Hunter argued. "Without it, Belos will surely be furious!"

"Hunter listen, hand me the box." Sasha said in a gentle tone.

"I say we take it!" King exclaimed before leaping upwards towards Hunter and started clawing at his face.

"Get off you stupid dog!" Hunter demanded as he moved about to get King off. During his struggle, Ghost pounced on Hunter's leg and started clawing at it. He burst out of the door and dropped to the ground, still holding on to the box as well.

"King, stop!" Sasha shouted as she tried to pull him off of him.

The others were watching on, either yelling at King to do his worst or at Sasha, telling her to let King tear his eyes out or silent. But Luz and Amity were contemplating whether to help and so was Raine.

"Luz, should we do something?" Amity asked.

Luz sighed. "Sometimes I hate being nice." The two ran towards King and tried to get him off.

"Get off, King!" Amity demanded.

"Come on King, do you want hugs and kisses?!" Luz asked.

"Not until this obnoxious scrawny kid gets it!" King replied.

Unbeknownst to the five of them, one of Andrias' robots landed behind them, intent on destroying them and getting the box. But luckily, Eda managed to notice.

"Kids!"

"Sasha, tin can!" Grime yelled.

The carnage stopped once they heard Grime's yell. They turned and saw the robot aiming one of its missiles at them. "Weh?!"

"You have got to be kidding me!" Sasha said as she looked at its chest, noticing the hole in it. This was the same robot that was watching Sasha when Malsacc went after Luz and the others.

Hunter sighed in annoyance before shoving everyone out of his way. "You want the box, come claim it!" He threw the box at the robot, who raised its arm upwards to catch it. But fortunately, the robot was too slow and the box bounced off its hand.

The box then flew towards a tree where it bounced off leading it to land right behind Sasha, Luz, Amity, King, Hunter and Ghost, causing it to open and for it to shine brighter than a sun. The light was so bright that Eda and Grime had to look away.

Once the light faded, Eda and Grime looked and saw that everyone that was in front of them, were now gone.

"Luz?!" Eda yelled out. "Amity?! King?!"

But Grime knew what this meant and placed a hand on Eda's shoulder. "They're gone." Grime said.

"Gone where?!" The panicked Eda asked.

"I don't know." Grime replied. "But I hope it's Earth. Because I don't know if Luz can survive Amphibia."

Chapter Text

In a forest somewhere on Earth, a blonde haired woman, who looked like she was in her mid 20's, was in her old pink 1980's Bulkswagon driving through the dark and atmospheric woods to a location. She was dressed as a waitress that looked similar to ones that worked 1950's diners, meaning she was a waitress. She was on speaker phone with someone as she drove her car to what appeared to be her job.

"I'm sorry I had to cancel." The woman said to the person on the phone. "Susan's got me taking over someone's shift tonight."

"Hey, it's okay." The man on the other end assured her. "Wendy needed help with a problem anyway."

The woman chuckled. "Guess we would have cancelled anyway."

Just then, the sound of what appeared to be metal getting crushed was heard. "Sorry, I think that might be me. Holler if anything falls out of the sky."

"Yeah." The woman said before hanging up and chuckling. "Like that'll ever happen." And like that, someone fell on top of her car, causing her to scream and push the breaks on her vehicle.

The woman was shocked, scared and worried. Did she just run over someone? But wait, that someone fell out of the sky. She quickly got out of her car and ran to the knocked out body. She turned the body over and saw that it looked like a teenage boy with blonde spiky hair, a scarred face and a chipped pointy ear. Additionally, he wore golden armour with a white cape and brown boots.

The woman checked his pulse and gave a thankful exhale when she found out that he was alive. He slowly opened his eyes and the woman saw that his irises were red.

She would have been freaked out, but she seemed calm. "You're lucky I've seen weirder stuff."

Hunter slowly regained his vision and looked at the woman. He tried to get up, but he winced in pain. "Box….."

"It's okay, I'm gonna get you to a hospital." The woman said. "How did you fall out of the sky?"

"Box….human…robot." Hunter mumbled.

"Okay, you're speaking gibberish." The woman said as she picked him up and put him in backseat of the car. "You're going to be okay, kid."

"I'm not." Hunter mumbled. "I'm not."

Elsewhere, Amity woke up laying on some kind of moist ground. She pulled herself up and looked around the place, which looked like a forest; judging by the silhouettes of leaves when looking up. It was really pitch black so she couldn't see anything at all. "Hello?!" Amity yelled. "Sasha?! Luz?!" The witch was confused by her new surroundings that she even began to ponder whether she was in The Human Realm.

The young witch began walking around the pitch black area, careful to not hit any tree she knew were there. "Sasha?! Sasha?! Where are you?!"

"Hello?!" Called out a voice.

"Hello?!" Amity responded as she tried to trace the voice. She looked around the dark area which she assumed might be the woods. She then noticed a bright light and a silhouette of a person who looked like a woman.

"Hello?!" The woman called out.

"Hi!" Amity called out.

"What are you doing out here?"

"I don't know!"

"Sweetie, I'm gonna approach you." The woman said gently. "That forest is filled with animal traps."

"What traps?!" Amity asked as she tried to walk towards the woman but then the witch stood on a pile of leaves, she suddenly felt a sharp metallic pain around her ankle, causing her to fall to the ground and scream in pain.

"¡Ay Dios mío!" The woman exclaimed as she ran up to Amity.

Amity tried holding in the urge to scream again, but it was too much as tears started to fall from her eyes due to the amount of pain that she was in.

The woman ran up to Amity and got down on her knee. "It's okay! It's okay! It's okay! I'm gonna get you out of this!" The woman started to pull the teeth of the bear trap off of Amity's skin, something that made her scream in pain. "I know this hurts! I know this hurts!"

Once the woman pulled the trap off of Amity's ankle, the witch was wincing in pain as more tears came from her eyes.

"Okay, I'm going to take a look at it." She took off Amity's shoe and rolled up her legging to get a look at her wound. The wound wasn't huge but blood was pouring from it at a slow rate. "Okay, it's not too bad but it could have been worse." Amity just continued to wince in pain while more tears fell from her eyes. "Don't worry, I'm gonna patch this up. Let me get you back to my place."

Suddenly, a bright light shone on the two's face, causing Amity and the woman to wince. When the light did shine on the woman's face, Amity got a good look at her and swore that she looked familiar. She looked vaguely like Luz's mom, Camila. But since Amity only saw her when Grom took her form to frighten Luz, she was obviously quite afraid.

"Mom!" A voice that sounded familiar to Amity exclaimed.

"Luz! There you are!" Camila happily walked up to Luz and gave her a quick hug. She then pulled herself out and narrowed her eyes at the girl. "¡¿Dónde has estado?! ¡Me has asustado!"

"Sorry Mama, I was trying to help a friend." The girl who Amity knew as Luz responded. "She lost her cat and turns out, he's at it again."

Camila sighed. "That monstruo. Luz, help get this poor girl to the house. She got her leg stuck in a bear trap."

"But you're a vet." The Luz with smooth hair pointed out.

"I'm still a doctor regardless." Camila and Luz then walked over to Amity, whom was still in pain but was confused at the same time.

Camila quickly pulled out some duct tape from her coat to wrap the wound up to stop the bleeding coming from Amity's leg as opposed to letting her bleed all over her shirt. "Listen, my name is Camila and this is Luz, my daughter."

"Hi." Luz said to Amity like this was her first meeting with her, causing the witch some confusion.

"What's your name?" Camila asked gently.

Amity winced as Camila stopped applying the duct tape to her leg. "Amity. My name is Amity."

Camila gave Amity a gentle smile. "That is such a pretty name. I love your hair by the way."

"Thanks." Amity responded.

"And those are impressive ears."

"Uh….thanks? People say they're my mother's."

"What are you even doing out here?" Luz asked. "Is there a late night LARPING event going on?"

"What's LARPING?" Amity queried while Camila lifted her up so she could carry her.

"Wow, even in pain you're still dedicated to your role." Luz remarked.

Amity, despite the pain in her leg, narrowed her eyes at Luz. "Okay Luz, what's going on?"

"What do you mean?" Luz asked.

"Mija, do you know her?" Camila asked.

"No I don't." Luz replied.

"Is this some sort of joke Noceda?!" Amity exclaimed. "I mean, the smooth hair and the fact you're acting like you don't know me! What is going on?!"

"How does she know our last name?!" Luz asked her mother.

"Mija, tengo esto." Camila said to her daughter before turning to Amity with a worried yet understanding look. "I think you might be confused Amity, how do you know my daughter?"

Amity turned red. "Well…."

"Ah ha!" Yelled a voice that made Camila's blood boil and made Luz freeze in fear that Amity swore that she saw her eyes blinking sideways.

"You!" Camila clenched her teeth in anger. "Didn't I say that I'd call the police if I find out you set animal traps?! Look what has happened to this poor girl!"

"Well, then you'd have to explain that demon you have posing as your daughter." Jacob retorted.

Amity narrowed her eyes at the man. "I don't know you, but I hate you already."

"What he's saying about Luz isn't true." Camila assured Amity.

"It is!" Jacob exclaimed. "She probably used her basilisk disguise at the LARPING event you went to…..Which I wasn't aware of even. I'm a member. They would have sent a letter to me if I've been revoked from the event."

"Say one more word about Luz and I'll make sure you'll never go to this LARPING again." Amity said. "As long as I understand its true meaning."

"Wow, she is really dedicated." Jacob remarked. "Oh well, listen Camila Noceda, wasn't it? If you do not hand me the Basilisk, then I will take things to drastic levels." The conspiracy theorist then reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a crossbow and aimed it at the woman.

Amity looked scared, the other Luz looked like she was ready to run while Camila looked like she wasn't afraid.

"I do not know how you got that but are you willing to kill innocent people all for this little innocent creature?" Camila asked.

"Drastic measures." Jacob said before firing the crossbow but it didn't hit Camila's skin because Amity quickly used her magic to form an Abomination shield. This sight made Jacob's mouth hang open, Camila to stare at Amity with a surprised expression and the other Luz to poke her head out of the bush.

"Do not hurt her!" Amity demanded through her gritted teeth.

Jacob looked scared, he was so sure he was about to drop his crossbow at the sight he saw. "Y-y-you're a witch."

Camila was so surprised and a little scared that she swore she was about to drop Amity on the ground. But she managed to pull herself together.

But due to the pain in Amity's leg, her shield disappeared and she winced in pain.

"You're a witch?" Camila asked Amity. "From The Demon Realm?"

"Yeah." Amity replied. "Hasn't Luz told you about me?"

"You know my daughter?!" Camila asked. "Is she okay?! Where is she?!"

"Uh…..Isn't she right beside you?" Amity asked.

"Unbelievable!" Jacob smiled. "Oh my gosh! A basilisk and a witch?! Oh boy, this is going to look good! Shame that Gravesfiled is about to lose a veterinarian." Jacob aimed his crossbow at the woman, who was about to run for her life but someone hit a pebble to his head.

"Hey, ugly!"

Jacob turned around to see a blonde haired girl with a scarred eye and maroon armour shining in the moonlight. She held her sword at the man, threatening him with it.

"Leave them alone."

"Sasha!" Amity yelled.

"Hey Amity." Sasha said. "Have you seen Luz?"

"Uh….Kind of." Amity replied. "This crazy guy keeps saying that she's a basilisk."

"But she is!" Jacob argued.

"Listen mister, I'm going to go easy on you unless you attack my friends and this random woman." Sasha said. "So, do me a favour and leave them alone. Or things will get worse."

"Well, a few minutes ago I would have accused you of being a LARPER." Jacob said as he aimed his crossbow at Sasha. "But I know that you aren't." He then fired his crossbow. But Sasha was quick enough to slice the arrow in two with her sword right before it could hit her in the face.

Jacob tried to reload but since this was a crossbow, it was taking too much time. This gave Sasha the perfect amount of time to run up to him and kneed him in the face, knocking him out.

"You guys alright?" Sasha asked as she landed on her feet.

"Where were you?" Amity asked.

"I landed near a coffee shop." Sasha replied. "I then heard the sound of what appeared to be you screaming and found this loser pointing a crossbow at you, this woman and this terrified snake creature." The last sentence caught Sasha and Amity off guard.

They looked to where Luz was and instead of her, they saw a strange snake creature, shaking.

"Ahh! A basilisk!" Amity screamed as she shoved herself off of Camila and landed to the ground. She tried to crawl away but Camila quickly got in front of her.

"Amity! Amity!" Camila interjected. "It's okay! It's okay! I don't know what Basilisks are like in your world, but Vee won't harm you."

"Vee?! Vee?! You knew that this basilisk was pretending to be your daughter?!"

"Amity, it's a long story." Camila said bluntly.

"Hi, Sasha Waybright here." Sasha said. "Humble toad lieutenant and survivor of two dark fantasy realms, can someone tell me what the heck is going on?! Why is Luz suddenly a Basilisk if that's what it's called?! How are you cool with it?! And why is this crazy crossbow guy after her?!"

"I should ask concerning questions to you as well Sasha." Camila replied. "But I assume it's a long story?"

"Ma'm, it's going to be a long night." Sasha replied. "But let's get inside before more come if he has an army. Cause this story is so long that it might take three seasons for me to finish it."

"Same with me." Amity said while Camila picked her up.

"Could we cut it short?" Vee asked as she followed. "Maybe the witch's?"

"I'd like to hear the full version to understand it fully." Camila replied.

Meanwhile at the Boonchuy residence, Anne, the Plantars and Mrs Boonchuy were watching a movie on their TV. The Plantars were smiling at it as well as Anne while Mrs Boonchuy seemed confused by their enjoyment.

"I'm gonna put some mud in your eye."

"I don't understand." Mrs Boonchuy said. "How can you love this movie when it's messy all over the place?"

"Memes Mom." Anne replied.

"Memes and nostalgia make bad movies better." Hop Pop said.

"The landlord is the best character." Polly said.

"Agreed." Sprig replied.

Just then, Mr Boonchuy ran inside the house, smiling. "Guys, it's finally here!"

In the garden, Mr Boonchuy was showing off a maroon dragon to his family.

"The dragon finally appeared!" Mr Boonchuy exclaimed happily.

"What is it?" Sprig asked.

"Is the dragon real?" Polly asked. "Can I fly it so I can burn my enemies?"

"No! No! No! This is a dragon from one of my favourite fantasy shows, Tournament of Throne Rooms." Mr Boonchuy replied.

"Honey, I love the show as much as you do, but is it worth putting it in the garden as a decoration?" Mrs Boonchuy asked.

"Honey, it really ties the garden together." Mr Boonchuy assured his wife.

"Mr Boonchuy, as much as the dragon ties the garden together, would it just get destroyed like everything else around you?" Hop Pop asked.

Mr Boonchuy thought about it for a second. "I don't think so. Cause, the feeling in my gut is telling me that whatever may fall out of the sky, won't land on my dragon."

Then, a random white cat fell out of the sky, which Anne caught in her hands. "Huh?" She, Mrs Boonchuy and the Plantars were confused by the sudden appearance

"Does it rain cats here?" Polly asked.

"What did I tell ya?" Mr Boonchuy asked. "Something weird fell out of the sky and it didn't damage the dragon."

Then, they heard the sound of someone screaming before a spiky haired girl landed next to Mr Boonchuy.

"See? Something else weird fell out of the sky and didn't destroy my statue."

"Weh!" Then, they see what appeared to be sound waves that hit the dragon, causing it to shatter into stones and pebbles. The sound waves were being controlled by a weird dog creature, whom was using it as a way to slowly land himself on the ground.

"Wow, that's what I call a safe landing." King remarked.

"Aww!" Mr Boonchuy groaned. "You killed my dragon."

"It was stone." King retorted.

Luz pulled herself up and looked around the garden to understand where she ended up. "Uh…Where am I?"

Anne gasped and handed the cat to her mom. "Luz?!"

"Better dressed Anne?!" Polly exclaimed.

"Better dressed Anne?" Mrs Boonchuy questioned.

Luz saw Anne and stood up carefully. "Anne?"

"Luz!" Anne ran up to Luz and gave her a hug, something that the latter returned. "It's great to see you again!"

"Same with you!"

"Uh….Anne?" Mrs Boonchuy queried. "Who's this?"

"The human witch we met." Anne replied as she pulled herself out of the hug. "I told you about her. She was stuck in a realm that was more of a dark fantasy realm with witches and demons and was trying to get home."

"And dare I say it; Her mentor looked fabulous." Polly remarked.

"Hey Luz, your new friend isn't going to attack me with hugs right?" King asked. "Because Sasha was strong."

The mention of Sasha made the girl freeze. "Wait, Sasha?!" Anne asked. "You know Sasha?!"

"Anne, did Sasha arrive?" Luz asked.

"I haven't seen her!" Anne replied. "Is Sasha okay?! What about Marcy?!"

"Sasha's okay, barley." Luz replied. "I don't know about Marcy apart from…..I don't wanna mention it. Anne, did anyone else come through?"

"Like what?" Anne asked.

"Did a cotton candy haired girl with pointy ears come through?"

"No."

"Did a scrawny scarred boy with blonde hair and pointy ears come through?"

"No."

"Did a robot come through?"

"Robot?" Anne queried. "Was it frog shaped?"

"Obviously you've met them. What about the box?"

"The box?!" Anne yelled.

"The box?!" The Plantars exclaimed.

"Look, it's a long story." Luz explained.

"Perfect time for snacks." King declared before he turned to Mrs Boonchuy. "You, human lady, give me whatever human snacks you have, before we move on!"

"You'll get your story when you fix this darn door!"

"Aww man, did we leave the movie rolling?" Anne queried.
