Kris and Susie sit in the diner,Kris with an apple pie and Susie with her sundae. The atmosphere of the place is lively yet very calm.

"Yo,Kris." Susie calls to Kris with a slight smirk "Last to finish has to call Ralsei a fluffy boy!" Susie says rapidly as she starts gulping the sundae like a drink

Kris instinctively grabs the pie and quickly lifts it to their mouth,the pie almost breaking in two before Kris is able jam half the pie into their mouth,they start vigorously munching the pie but as they look up Susie sips the last bit of sundae left in her cup.

"PHEW!" Susie loudly says as she finishes her sundae in a few seconds "Can't wait to see that." Susie says with a grin

Kris stops munching the pie and looks back at susie,their cheeks stuffed with pie and giving her a small smile while slowly chewing.

"...Wait...Did you lose on purpose?" Susie asks with an incredulous look

Kris looks out the window covering their mouth to hide their smile.

"Maaaaan," Susie leans back in the diner booth "playing truth or dare with you must suck. You're willing to do anything." Susie looks at the ceiling putting her hands behind her head

Kris swallows the big chunk of pie,with a loud gulp. "...we could play with noelle." Kris says with a low voice

"Yeah,i guess would be fun daring her to do...uhh...i dunno,a handstand? Don't wanna be too mean to her." Susie says scratching her head

Kris puts the other half of the pie in their mouth,slowly chewing as the pie melts inside their mouth.

"OH!" Susie snaps her head forward "We could dare her to balance eggs on her antlers and one with a spoon in her mouth,that'd be cool!"

Kris snickers,almost choking on their pie,covering their mouth to hide their laugh.

Susie looks at Kris frustrated "Oh yeah? Oh please Dare master,give me your wisdom in dares then." Susie says sarcastically

Kris lifts a finger,telling her to wait as they swallows the pie "...we could exchange clothes...you wear what noelle wears,i wear what you wear and she wears what i wear..."

"HELL NO!" Susie snaps back "Wouldn't be caught dead in a skirt." Susie looks Kris up and down "...How about you wear what noelle wears and i wear what you wear?"

Kris takes a moment to think and then nods,putting their fist forward for a fistbump.

"Alright,deal." Susie does a fistbump with Kris to seal the deal "You in a skirt,huh?...I mean...Ralsei wears a dress so i guess it's not that big of a deal."

"...it's a tunic...i think..." Kris says doubtfully

"Pota-toe pota-to,same thing." Susie looks Kris up and down again "uhh...Kris. Can i ask you something?"

Kris nods.

"In the dark worlds,you know how sometimes we change what we wear,like we dressed as doctors once and as gangsters with that watercooler?" Susie says looking at her cup

Kris shudders at the memory of the watercooler.

"And we only really got to know each other like...two days ago,so what should i call you?" Susie says sliding her finger on the top of the cup

"hmm?" Kris makes a small almost inaudible sound to express their confusion,tilting their head

"Like...are you a he or a she? Been calling you they cause i don't really know what you are. I mean you dress like a guy...but so do i,i guess...i dunno,all humans look the same to me,you know?" Susie says looking at Kris' sweater avoiding eye contact

"...wow...racist..." Kris says

Susie's eyes widen "W-wait i didn- i just meant that i-i--i--" her hands moving side to side with various gestures as she tries to explain herself

Kris just puts their hand over their mouth holding a laugh.

"i...Oh,you're screwing with me..." Susie hands fall in the table as she calms down

"...yeah..." Kris says with a small grin

Kris thinks back,they never really did care for titles,all that mattered was if they were having fun. Kris felt comfortable in almost anything,dresses,skirts,jeans,shorts. They just picked the most comfortable and stuck with it.

"...call me whatever you want...i don't care..." Kris says sliding their finger across the plate to get the leftover apple cream from the pie

"No,i meant like...what do you...y'know...have?" Susie says clasping her hands intertwining her fingers

Kris puts their finger in their mouth after getting the apple cream,looking Susie with a confused look.

"Uhh...y'know...you got a..." Susie lifts one of her fingers and wiggles it back and forth a little bit "or a...y'know." putting her hand to her snout looking Kris in the face but avoiding eye contact

Kris is taken aback,their cheeks redden a little bit as they look her in the eyes.

Susie looks down at the table "...I-i'm sorry,that was a dumb questi-"

"♥:Maybe one day,you're gonna find out~" You say,as Kris winks and snaps their fingers pointing at Susie while giving a slight smile. With a very out of character and somewhat flirtatious voice.

"...wuh." Susie freezes

Kris' eyes widen,their smile quickly fades and they put their hand down,their face completely red.

"...Wh--What did you say?" Susie asks with a surprised look

Kris quickly stands up in their booth "let--let's go find the code." Kris says as they rapidly and stiffly walk out of the booth and out the diner

Susie stays seated for a moment "Kris,wait up!" She says quickly following Kris outside

Kris is almost jogging to noelle's house,Susie easily catches up to them.

Susie walks by Kris' side "Kris! I'm sorry,i didn't mean to make you storm out like that,i-"

Kris lifts their hand,showing the palm and shaking it to dismiss Susie. "the code." as they look down,face completely red

Susie looks as they both get closer to noelle's house "...Okay. Let's find that code."

Kris stays silent,slowing their walking,putting their hand on their chest and clutching their sweater at the height of their heart.

...God,how they hate this thing.
