Eggciting News...

At the Monastery...

Cole, Kai, and Zane finally convinced Lloyd to reveal the soon-to-be members of their family after he took some time to get used to the knowledge of his anatomy.

The leader of the ninja called for a meeting while Cole brought his little eggs, all five of them, as everyone got comfortable. Nya and Jay, being husband and wife as they are sitting together on the couch, while Pixal stands with Zane as she detects new lifeforms, she’s been detected for quite some time. Wu was kneeling as he waited for Lloyd and Cole while Kai was leaning on the couch, being the supportive older brother he always was. Even Misako arrived at Wu’s request since he knew her son would need her. The Earth Ninja and the Green Ninja finally made it with the carefully wrapped eggs in the softest blankets found in the Monastery, then placed the little bundles of joy on the table.

“Guys, what’s going on?” Nya wondered while Jay spotted what was on the table.

“And why do you guys have dragon eggs...? Please tell me you didn’t steal them.” Jay asked, a tad worried that an angry dragon mother would come stomping in to get their eggs back.

“No, Jay, we didn’t steal them.” Lloyd sighed, then looked at the four who knew, who were showing encouragement, “I-I... laid them.”

Everyone but Misako, who didn’t know, blinked at his words.

“Sorry, Buddy. I think I hear you right. I thought you said you laid these eggs.” Jay chuckled while trying to clean out his ears.

“I did, Jay.”

Jay froze with shock at what his younger brother said. Nya was the first to react as she wanted to make certain her little brother was okay.

“Oh FPM, please tell me no one hurt you-!”

“I already had this conversation with Kai, and no, I have not been with anyone!” Lloyd shouted with his cheeks red.

“Not so loud, you’ll disturb the babies.” Cole scolded the others as he feared the stress would not be good for the eggs.

“B-but then, how? Seriously, how is it possible for a human to lay eggs?” Jay spluttered questions for the boy before being roughly nudged by Kai.

“You idiot, have you forgotten Lloyd’s part dragon and oni?” Kai reminded the Lightning Ninja.

“Oh yeah, forgot about that... but wait, that still doesn’t explain how Lloyd can have eggs without-.”

“Dragons do not need partners in order to reproduce offspring.” Misako carefully explained while she carefully hugged her timid son, “The First Spinjitsu Master was able to do, and that ability was passed down to those of his direct blood. This is how he was able to have sons without a partner.”

Lloyd felt a small amount of comfort.

“I wish we knew sooner.” Misako breathed, knowing the fear the poor boy must have felt when he had the eggs, “Maybe this could have been prevented.”

“We cannot change the past. We can only be there for the future, and now that we know this could happen, we can provide what Lloyd and the eggs will need.” Wu advised while looking at his kin within the eggshells.

“So, Lloyd’s gonna be a daddy?” Jay wondered while he knelt down to the eggs.

“Nah, Lloyd feels like he’s too young for kids yet, and I’ve been taking care of a baby...” Cole voiced in, then knelt beside the offspring, “So, I agreed to take them in, all of them.”

Wu smiled at Cole’s gentle nature and caring side.

“Whatever you wish, Lloyd. We will be here to support you.” Misako promised her son and gave her a hug, before looking at the eggs with fondness, “They look like the egg you once dwelt in.”

“Wait, I HATCHED FROM AN EGG!!!” Lloyd gasped at the sudden news while his mother lightly laughed at his astonishment, “How?!?!? I thought-!”

“Just because dragons don’t need a partner, doesn’t make it an impossibility. Sometimes, in order to produce more powerful offspring that can survive better, dragons will seek mates from other species. I believed that is how your grandfather came to be and how you became stronger than your father and uncle.” Misako illuminated while touching her stomach from her memory of Lloyd, “I still kept the shell, I Kintsugi it together as a reminder of you.”

“Remind me to ask you how to do that when the kids hatch. I want to keep every memento.” Cole requested while looking at the babies.

“So, what will need to know? Will they look like Lloyd? What kind of stuff do they need? Should they be in a nest or in the sun, or maybe under a lamp-?” Jay rambled while Wu brought out a book.

“Everything can be explained with this. The eggs are indestructible until they are eaten by the one who spawned them or when they hatch. They will begin to grow and change during their development, but once they draw close to hatching, they must be taken to a sacred place.”

“The Volcanic Springs of New Life, I remember it well.” The archaeologist smiled at the memory of that place, “Lloyd was a single egg. But a clutch won’t hatch all at once, and no one can say for certain when they will hatch. It could be anywhere from four months to a full year. You will know when you spot these signs.”

Cole and the others then looked at the list of notable signs in the book.

  • If the egg is half your size
  • Began showing a luminescent rainbow color
  • Smell of aged tea leaves, fresh rain, cherry blossoms, and sulfur
  • Begins to smoke slightly
  • Hearing a steady heartbeat from across the room
  • Elemental Powers begin to show

“Okay, so we won’t have any trouble recognizing when these little guys are going to hatch.” Kai grinned at the thought of becoming an uncle.

“You all must remember, these eggs must not hatch anywhere but The Volcanic Springs of New Life; it is imperative that they only hatch there, or consequences could be dire,” Wu warned without going into any detail.

The ninja gulped but understood.

“So, when should we start building a nursery?” Nya asked.

“I advised using the wing closest to ours in case of emergencies. I can provide cameras and monitors to monitor their development. I could also download the offspring manual to our servers to provide the best care.” PIXEL suggested with a smile.

“I call making the baby toys!”

“I could bring some hand-me-downs.”

“Leave baby proofing to me.”

“And I shall study what the best nutrition is for hatchlings.”

Everyone was talking about the babies on the way while Lloyd and Cole smiled at each other and then went to the eggs. Even though Lloyd wasn’t ready to be a father and Cole wasn’t biologically theirs, these eggs will have a family. They will never suffer loneliness or abandonment like Lloyd has.

They will be loved.

Cared for by their entire family.

All together.

Chapter 2: Proper Nesting

Chapter Text

Proper Nesting

In the Monastery...

With the news of five little babies coming in the form of a hatching, the ninja felt a need to help Cole shoulder the responsibility of care for the new life the Green Ninja has brought.

“Okay, according to the book, the best thing for the egg is proper nesting. Making sure they are in a safe environment, the most comfortable nests, and warmed constantly. They will need to be properly nested, so we’ll all take shifts.” Cole informed his teammates while he and the others were helping make the nest, “And not just pillows and blankets. No, we need to bring personal items too. It will help with brain growth and introduce the babies to members of our family. Shirts, pants, socks, scarves, anything you wear, and anything cleaned.”

“Yeah, no way am I exposing my nephews and or nieces to moldy socks.” Jay proudly proclaimed while he brought his hand-me-down scarves, sweaters, and...

“A gramophone?” Kai questioned his brother while he tilted his head, his own arms filled with his old, worn ninja uniforms.

“Yeah, for classical music. It’s good for babies’ brains.” Jay declared.

“Jay is quite right. Classical music often provides stimulation for the infants during their first development in their lives; it may be especially true during the incubation period.” Zane agreed while he brought some of his discarded but clean civilian clothes.

“I can’t wait for them to come out, and I can spoil them.” Nya smiled while helping arrange the nest, “They are going to be surrounded by so many family members.”

Misako and Wu finished adding their share to the nest when they took a good look at the nest before Cole brought in the eggs and gently placed them within.

“Perfect. The best nest in all of Ninjago.” Cole declared as everyone gathered around the eggs as Cole carefully nestled into the cotton and silk nest of pillows, blankets, quilts, clothes, and other fabric mementos, such as a dragon would do, even nudging one of the eggs with his nose, “Just like this?”

“Just like that, Cole. Be sure to share your body temperature with each one to strengthen their bond to you and together.” Wu advised while placing a shoulder on his student with a smile, “But this is not be a lone responsibility.”

“Indeed, as a flock, dragons rely on one another to keep their eggs safe and protected. All the family carries the responsibility.” Misako informed him while showing a picture in the book.

“We’ll all take shifts for the little guys during the day and one of us will be on hen duty during the night because... well, a nest may be comfortable for a dragon but not for a person.” Kai suggested, “We’re still ninja and a family after all. We all need to stay in tip-top shape.”

“I could create a chart for each of us to share the responsibility.” PIIXEL offered the adoptive the father of the eggs.

“Great plan. I’ll take the first shift.” Cole declared with pride while looking after the eggs.

And so a schedule was made: Cole-Wu-Zane-Pixel-Nya-Jay-Kai-Misako-Lloyd.

Cole

Cole felt like a proud papa while he looked at his babies, well eggs, small but safe and comfortable in a nesting setting.

So small, so cute~.

They weren’t even hatched yet and they already won his heart. Though it was unintentional on Lloyd’s part, this is the greatest he’s ever gotten. Nothing else is in comparison to this; this was the most wonderful feeling in the world. Five little darlings, each one making a permanent place in his heart, to be treasured and loved. There were so many questions that ran through his mind while he rested there in the nest.

When will they hatch?

What would they look like?

Will they take after their biological parent?

What Elemental powers would they have?

Would they have any at all?

Would they-would they like him?

Would they see him as their dad?

“Hey Little guys, even if I didn’t lay you (That’s sound weird but hey), just know I will always be there for you, every single one of you. You’ll know so much love and happiness, me, your grampas, your grandmas, your aunts, and everyone will love you to pieces.” Cole assured his babies when an idea popped into his head.

Jay did say songs were good for babies, so why not sing to them?

He began to sing the songs he used to sing to baby Wu long ago. He was so engrossed in singing, he didn’t even notice the eggs responding to his voice, listening to their father.

Wu

Wu was drinking tea while he kept the eggs close to him as the aroma of tea filled the room and his feathery companion, the First Chicken of Ninjago.

His father created this bird to help protect him and his brother when they were eggs themselves, the warm bosom, skilled fighting, and protective nature... The hen proved that the eggs could be left in good hands. Then the chicken began nesting for Lloyd and now...

“This guardian of the eggs will now nest for you, my grandchildren. From her feathery behind, your light and darkness will be sheltered and warmed during your development, while your elemental powers are nurtured. Let the aroma of the tea instill the cunning which becomes wisdom which forges your path.”

The chicken crooned for the babies while Wu played a soft flute song.

Zane

As a Nindroid, Zane was granted the ability to adjust his temperature to suit the needs of the eggs in the nest.

Also, a lullaby setting is implanted to soothe the children in their shells. Zane gently rocked with the children before he brought out a book of old tales of Ninjago. He smiled while he looked at the eggs he was tending to.

“It is best for you to know the stories of before, the tales of old, so you will understand their lessons and meanings. It is tradition for the older to teach the younger our old tales and myths, so they never fall prey to their mistakes.” Zane explained to the eggs before reading to them the Tales of Old Ninjago.

Pixel

105.07 Fahrenheit at a steady rate...

Softness level optimal a 7.6...

Optimal sun exposure 87%...

Pixel provided the optimal hatching arrangement for the hatchlings to come. Thanks to her calculations and study of egg hatching from the FSM books. With proper calculation and timing, any defects, stillborn, and other possible dangers are kept to a minimum.

Nya

Nya never thought she would be acting as a mother hen, at least not like something like this.

She’s not complaining, mind you, but she never thought she would be in a nest for eggs that her younger brother Lloyd laid and Cole planned on raising. She was still stunned that Lloyd could do that or that his entire family could do that. But then again?

Wouldn’t it be another day in Ninjago?

But still...

Wu should have told Lloyd sooner. She always hated how her sensei would hold secrets from them like that, especially when they were the most important. So much trouble could have been avoided if Wu hadn’t withheld information like that.

“Don’t worry, Little Guys. When you come out of there, I promise no secrets. We’ll always keep you five in the loop. There is no worse feeling than when someone you care about keeps secrets from you.”

Jay

Nya smiled on how fatherly her husband was as he read to the babies his childhood books, his own parents read to them.

‘Mimsy the Junk Rat Who Could Fly.’

“And so Mimsy, ever curious and ever yearning, collected the cloth, the gears, the springs, and the metal needed for his wings. The other junk rats laughed at the absurdity of a rat wanting to fly to be with his angelic love. Who would dare to dream of such thoughts?” Jay read in his storytelling voice to the eggs while Nya laughed.

It seemed that this book was a big inspiration for the young man, seeing the parallels between him and the character. Jay, the Junk Rat, who wanted to fly and be more, and herself Nya, the Angelic White Bat who inspired him to fly.

Positively Romantic.

Kai

Uncle Kai, he never thought it would be granted such a title so soon.

He has never been happier since the day he was told to become an older brother, to Nya, to Lloyd, to them all. Oh, there was so much he wanted to do with his little nieces and nephews, wanted to be there for so many things.  Fishing, playing, spoiling them with candy since they will inherit their birth parents’ sweet tooth, teaching them, oh, it will be so much fun~!

He’ll be there for every booboo.

Every scare.

Every birthday.

Every special moment.

He’ll be there for it all, and he would never let anything bad happen to them.

“Hey, if you don’t tell your dad, I promise to teach you how to blacksmith and make you the best weapon in the world,” Kai whispered to the eggs.

Misako

A Grandmother.

Misako never thought she would be awarded such a title, never thought she would live long enough to see that day, or be welcomed around the time to know such joys.

Guilt burdens her heart for her son. She missed much, too much for her child’s life, all the milestones that were lost... Though she has a connection with her son, it would never be as strong as the ninjas' or Wu's or even his own father’s. So many regrets plagued her heart as she watched her own son, again and again, sacrifice so much and gain little in return.

It was a heartbreaking life.

She would never want that for her child, nor for her grandchildren.

No matter what, she will make it up to Lloyd and to these young ones.

Lloyd

Lloyd smiled sadly at the eggs as he brought them closer to her personage, for nesting... it felt natural to him, more so than it did the other ninja... because these eggs, deny it or not, they were a part of him... such as how his father once accepted Lloyd as the best part of him.

“Hey... I hope you don’t hold any grudges, but if it’s okay, if you do. I would be pretty mad too if someone gave me away. Mum did that, even though she had the best intentions... it doesn’t take the pain away. But I won’t do what she did.” Lloyd talked to the eggs, “I may be too young and inexperienced, still trying to figure myself out, what I really am... but I would have never simply abandon you.”

He then looked up at the ceiling.

“Cole, your new dad, he’s an amazing person. He will give you things I can’t even. You’ll be in better hands with him, and I will never abandon you either. Even though I am giving parenthood to Cole, I will be here to watch you grow up and become the people you want to be.”

He then gently touched the eggs with his hand.

“You’ll be given something I wanted more than anything: choice, freedom, to become whoever you want. And yes, it won’t be a normal life, it will be a life worth living because it will be yours.” Lloyd promised before giving a kiss, “Remember, be free and be happy.”

He then curled up closer and went to sleep.

Chapter 3: Meet the Grandparents

Chapter Text

Meet the Grandparents

On the Road Near the Monastery...

When their parents heard the news of little ones coming soon, they didn’t waste any time making their way to the monastery.

Jay's adoptive parents, Cole’s dad and his choir, Kai and Nya’s parents, Dr. Cyrus Borg in honor of Dr. Julian and Dareth. Everyone would soon know about the eggs, but the ninja wanted to let their family know about the newest additions first. Lou and the Royal Blacksmiths were already preparing a song for when his grandchildren hatched. He didn’t even ask for the whole details, he was just that excited to have grandchildren coming! Oh, he could not wait to meet the little ones; he had so many things he wanted to do with them and his son. He will need to prepare everything.

“Oh, I wonder what those little munchkins are gonna look like before they hatch ~!” Edna squealed in delight.

“Yes indeed, Edna. We’ll need to start planning on playdates and of course, the little tikes will need to get vaccinated.” Ed added with a grin.

“I am quite surprised how easily you are digesting everything. You are taking the fact that Young Lloyd was able to self-reproduce through eggs very well.” Cyrus admired the parents of the ninja's open-mindedness to the news.

“Our children have traveled through realms, time, faced undead, dragons, robots, went into space, killed Gods, and even came back from the dead.” Lou reminded everyone with a sense of smugness, “You learn not to question things and not to look a gift horse in the mouth, especially in the form of children. I’ll need to write a song for each of them right away.”

“Ooh, we could make music boxes!” Edna suggested.

“I can help with the metal.” Ray offered.

“They’re going to love it.” Maya smiled as she was excited to see the eggs, “It is a tradition that spinjitsu masters provide all manner of gifts to the next generation. I remember all of theirs, especially our own.”

“We’re going to have to make it especially special.” Ray grinned with delight.

“And I, the Great Sensei Dareth, will make this momentous moment even grander with my presence.” Dareth declared with grandiose.

“I wonder if the eggs will look like Lloyd’s.”

At the Monastery...

Cole was tucking in his babies, still little eggs, while they prepared for their families to visit.

“Okay little Cole and Lloyd Juniors, your grampas and grandmas are visiting soon to meet you, and I want you all to be on your best behavior,” Cole whispered to the eggs.

He gave each one a kiss before bundling them up in the softest blankets and placing them carefully into a baby carriage. He then moved the carriage into the living room while everyone was waiting for the parents and Dareth to arrive to meet the new family. Streamers carefully hung with the balloons, as the cakes, oh how Cole loved cake, who didn’t love cake, were placed on the tables as everyone was making sure they looked presentable to their families for the technical baby shower.

Even though the babies weren’t hatched yet, their creation was more than enough to celebrate. Everyone was excited for their families to be the first of their outer circle to be introduced to the eggs. Everyone in Ninjago will soon know about the eggs, but for now, they wanted their family to know first, to be able to see them first and fall in love with them, such as the ninja have.

“Should we put bows on them? Ooh, or maybe little dresses and suits?” Jay asked his companions while Kai face-palmed himself.

“No way, not until we know what gender Little Cole and Lloyd Juniors, no dresses or suits. I don’t want to unnecessarily embarrass them, yet. The kids wouldn’t want to see themselves in dresses and makeup if they’re boys.” Cole explained to the future uncle of his children.

“Then maybe you shouldn’t call them Little Cole and Lloyd Juniors then if they come out as girls,” Kai remarked with a sense of smugness.

“Female, Male, or something in-between, they will receive no less love than they deserve.” Zane declared as all agreed.

“In fact, the moment they hatch, they will know only love from us,” Nya added, for she was excited to be an aunt.

“You sound like Lloyd’s father, then we had our eggs.” Misako remained calm while Lloyd looked surprised and a little appalled.

“Someone was going to put me in a dress when I was an egg?” Lloyd gasped while his brother laughed at him, his face turning pink.

“Maya and Ray wanted to, but your father wanted to wait until you hatched before dressing you up. But he did allow nicknames, Little Rainbow, Yolko and-.”

“Mom!”

The ninja laughed at him.

Soon the grandparents and Dareth came in as they were celebrating the eggs being laid. Lou was more than elated to see them as his choir began to sing to the babies.

“Oh, arn’cha the cutest little eggs in da world, don’t you know~!” Edna swooned at the ovules while she began to kiss them.

“I just can’t wait to build you every baby toy and gadget~! I know your Uncle Jay will help out with that.” Ed smiled with delight.

“They do look just like Lloyd’s Egg.” Maya admired the little ones.

“They’ll probably be as handsome as him too. They’re entire family did inherit goddess good looks.” Ray added.

“Well, they are a family of Deities.”  Cyrus reminded them, “I wonder what they will be if they hatch. Please inform me if you wish to have an ultrasound performed on them.”

“We’ll let you know.” Cole nodded while everyone was celebrating the eggs, cake slices around for everyone~.

Lloyd was happy his eggs, Cole’s future children, were happy to know they would never be alone.

Chapter 4: Serving Sunnyside News

Chapter Text

Breaking news: next generation of ninja?

Rumor mill dictates that local Green Ninja, Lloyd Garmadon, had self-reproduced heirs of Spinjitsu. In the form of eggs, these little guys are being housed in the Monastery of the First Spinjitsu Master and protected by the ninja. It is also believed that due to his young age, he had given custody over to the Earth Ninja. When we attempted to get an interview or see if the rumors were true, we were soon intercepted by the ninja and were forbidden from entering the premises or giving a comment on the rumor of the little eggs. We traveled around Ninjago for people to give a comment on the rumor...

At the Monastery...

Lloyd groaned while he hugged a pillow, flipping through channels that were still talking about the eggs he laid.

Great, Dareth must’ve blabbed, and now everyone is talking about it. Ugh, he knew he wasn’t going to be able to hide it, but he hoped to delay just for a little while. The green ninja is already getting heckled when he’s on the job. What’s it going to be like when all of Ninjago realizes he reproduced?

And not just any ninja having children. No, no, no, it was the esteemed, revered, and loved by everyone, some even compare him to a God, since his grandfather created the realms they call home. The legendary Green Ninja was something that to be known as a great hero, and now said great hero has created offspring, many believed to pass on the torch. As if this situation wasn’t stressful. Lloyd tried to flip the channels to watch something else, anything else.

“Heir to Lloyd Gamradon.”

“Children around the corner!”

“Next generation of ninja.”

“Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!”

“How can the Green Ninja deny his deity nature when he laid eggs? A human being cannot lay eggs?”

“Any word on what these eggs look like?”

“Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies!”

“Lloyd Garmadon has declined an interview.”

“Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!”

“Loyd Garmadon.”

 “Loyd Garmadon.”

“Loyd Garmadon!”

“Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies!”

“We love you, Lloyd! We wanna see your babies!”

“Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd!”

“Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs! Eggs!”

“Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies! Babies!”

“Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd! Lloyd!”

CRASH!

“Lloyd! Dude!” Jay gasped as he saw the carnage that befell the television, dealt in a single blow.

“Huh?”

Lloyd had to look at what he had done as the remote he once held was no longer in his hands. But how? He had it-.

Oh.

It was in the TV.

“We just paid for this one! Come on!” Jay whined while the other ninja came in to see what the commotion was.

“Sorry, Jay. I pay for a new one.” Lloyd apologized while burying his face into the pillow.

“I don’t blame him for lashing out. I would be stressed too with everything going on.” Cole defended while carrying his eggs in a sling and cuddling up to them.

“Sheesh, we’ve been getting swamped by reporters after reporters since the news broke. Why couldn’t Dareth keep his mouth shut about this?” Kai grumbled while shaking his head.

“I thought you liked all the attention.” Nya chuckled, tired herself.

“I don’t man fans every now and again, but that last swarm nearly killed me. I had to take shelter on the roof of Chen’s Noodle Shop.” Kai admitted, thankful his girlfriend was able to get him out of the mess.

“Though some of the information was leaked by Dareth, it was not all his fault.” Zane spoke up, “It would seem someone saw the eggs when visiting the Monastery.”

“Who?”

Ring-Ring!

Oh.

“Morning, congratulations!” The mailman greeted before leaving on his bike.

“Dude is such a gossip.” Jay scoffed while crossing his arms, “Just hope people aren’t like this when Nya and I have kids.”

“What’s done is done. All we can do is just wait until it dies down.” Cole sighed while rocking the eggs gently, “The little ones will just have to stay here until they start getting ready to hatch. I don’t want them to get overwhelmed.”

“Sounds good, and Lloyd maybe should stay here until everything is a little less overwhelming-.”

“No, no. I’m fine.”

“You sure?”

“Yeah. Besides, I haven’t left the Monastery since I laid the eggs. It might do me some good to get some fresh air.” Lloyd answered, then felt a hand on his shoulder.

“And no matter what happens, you’ll have support,” Kai promised his brother while everyone stood with him.

“I'd rather you guys support them.”

“Well, we can do both.”
