Chapter Text

She awoke floating in a shallow body of water. After a few moments she sat up and examined the area and herself. It was some kind of island within a dome, and as for her, she was in a loin cloth with wrapped coverings around her chest.

Let’s rewind, how the hell did I end up here?

The moss squished under her feet as they strutted through, half dancing half walking around the woodland path, grinning and laughing not knowing what was to come.

Snap

A branch broke behind her, she quickly stops her music and turns to find the source of the noise. Who would be all the way out here? And at this hour.

“How…intresting” A boy spoke, he was average hight, a bit chubby with fluffy black hair, but what really caught her attention was his strange outfit. It was shades of pink with arm puffs

She looked around awkwardly “uh…hey there…nice night huh”

He raised an eyebrow “I suppose it is…” after looking her up and down he cracks a smirk “What's your name human?”

“Y/n…uh heh human?” before she could say anything else to the strange boy a huge blue woman appeared.

“Steven! What are you doing talking with the organics im not even supposed to let you come here as often as you do, we need to leave”

She froze in shock, what on earth is happening this has to be some kind of dream, maybe a delusion.

“Bluuuue” Steven whines “Listen I know there are already many but can I please bring this one back, come on just this one.”

“Fine fine if you want her just bring her with us because were leaving this instant”

Steven grins and turns back to her “Well come on then”

A blue hand emerged from the woods and landed, opening for them, but she began to bolt in the other direction. However she didn't make it far before a pink wall appeared in front of her

“Wha..”

Next thing she knew she was caged in and being dragged back towards the two strange beings. The walls went down and she fell on her butt, now sitting right in front of Steven, he then grabbed her wrists and tossed her on the ship.

“As I said your coming with me”

Right, that's how I got here, next question is how do I get out. As she thought a woman's soft voice speaks in her ear

“Ah new human welcome to the Zoo I bet your sleepy huh”

“WHA-where!...oh the earring, uh no sorry lady im getting out”

“Haha dont be silly now go sleep.”.

After a few minutes of arguing with the earring women she laid down in some grass and drifted off with only two questions in mind.

How am I going to escape, and what does that Steven boy want to do with me?

She arose from sleep to the earring women trying to convince her to eat and talk with the other humans. To finally make the lady shut up she ate and attempted conversation, and walked up to a tan girl with poofy blonde hair.

“Uh…hey there…what's your name?”

She had a sweet high pitched voice “Oh! Hello you must be new, how fascinating…well im 12W, what about you?”

“Excuse me your names…what?”

“12W” the girl restates

“ah…I see, well im Y/N”

“Oh hah what a funny name”.

My name's the funny one?

After speaking to a few more humans she quickly found out they had never left the Zoo, and were happy with this dystopian utopia. She realized they would just hold her back and would be no help, she was on her own.

The day continued but a while after she had drifted off she was shook awake

“Heh hey Y/N its time its time, get up!” a man pulled her up by her arm

“Time for what?”

“The chooseaning!” He shouts with a grin

She was too tired to argue, letting him drag her to the circle.

The earring women started making matches and Y/N began to put the pieces together on what was happening

“Wait wait! Is this some love matching thing!”

A few humans turn their heads “uh we are being matched theirs no need to panic, be exited”

She flew into a silent frenzy when all the sudden the women says

“Y/N come forward”

She looks up everyone looking expectantly “Wait no I-”

She was cut off by a group pushing her to the center

“K5 step up”

A broad man with flowing brown hair approached her and took her hand “Im so glad we've been choosend”

After a moment she pushed the man and stepped back “Enough! I can deal with eating weird fruit and whatever but I'm NOT doing this!”

Everyone stared confused and annoyed by her resistance when the earring women announced

“Y/N please make your way to the north wall.”.

As she walked to the wall she asked nervously “Am I…in trouble?”

The earring women lets out a airy laugh “No need to worry, they just need you for a moment”

Y/N walks up to the wall “Need me for what?”.

Before her question could be answered the wall opens and two amethyst guards grab her arms and pulled her along

“Agh! Let me go, I can walk by myself!” she thrashed about

The guards let go still ushering her forward “Shh! Don't yell…We just need to get you to him quickly, he's not patient.”

“What? Who's he?” she said tilting her head

“Pink Diamond".

They approach a large pink door with a Pearl standing outside it.

One of the Amethyst guards speaks “This is the human he called for.”

Pearl looks down at her in judgment “I see. Alright come in with me human, but please just dont upset him it will make everything more difficult for the both of us.”.

And with that Pearl and Y/N entered Stevens room to see him looking out a window down at homeworld.

Peal clears her throat to get his attention “My Dimond, I have brought the human girl you asked for.”

Steven turns “Thank you Pearl, that will be all”.

Pearl salutes and walks into the corner of the room to stare in silence.

“So…Y/N, what do you think of my Zoo?” Steven asks

“Zoo? You mean the place I was just in…it's a Zoo. Why-I'm so confused.”

He sighs, getting ready to explain “I like the organics on Earth, particularly the humans, so I have a Zoo to contain and watch them. The same reason I brought you, I like you find you fascinating.”

Her face contorts into disgust “You…you just go around Earth stealing humans and bringing them…here?

“Yes” He said blankly

“That's wrong!” she yells

Pearls eyes widen in fear still watching

Stevens eyebrow knit and he walks towards her “Is it? I've seen what life's like for you humans down there. I'm saving you, feeding you, keeping you safe and happy, even letting you fall in love and create life. How is it wrong?”

“I had a life! You stole it from me, took me into space and threw me in a Zoo, do I seem happy to you!”

After she spoke he grabs her jaw hard and pulls her closer

“Listen to me. I am your Dimond, even when you were living on Earth I was your Diamond you just didn't know it, you will be happy here with me your lucky you get to even bask in my presence. You will be brought from the Zoo to be with me when I call and you will do as I say and entertain me. Am I understood?”.

His grip tightens and she quickly responds “Okay okay!”

He lets go with force pushing her to the ground “Pearl go put her back, I'll call for her again tomorrow."

“Of course my Dimond” Pearl scrambles to pick her up and drag her out of the room.

Once the door shut Pearl began “GAH what were you thinking talking back to him like that you're lucky he didn't throw one of his tantrums!”

“Hes a dickhead someone needs to set him straight!” she responds

“He’s Pink Diamond! And you are his new fascination so you need to get used to it”

She says before handing her off to the amethyst guards

“Put her in the Zoo, and bring her back here tomorrow afternoon”

The guards nod before putting her back in the Zoo

Once she entered the women spoke “Time for bed”

“For once im not going to fight you on this” Y/N said before collapsing on a patch of grass and drifting off
