Chapter Text
The Alexandria Safe Zone
It's been several days since she met Negan that time and made a deal with him. Rachel, or Rick, was still surprised. Although she was consumed by fear at the time and didn't have the presence of mind to make decisions or think things through, she accepted the offer immediately without wasting time to protect the group of people who were like her family.
Rick held one-year-old Judith close to her chest, smiling at her little girl as she innocently pointed around.
Today, she took Judith for a walk throughout the community, all the way to the area near the main gate, the only entrance and exit for Alexandria, and then back to sit and play in front of their house.
"Wow! Ricky, my dear!! "Are you here to pick me up?" A voice rang out, the smile on the face more mischievous than happy.
Rick rolled her eyes, tightened her grip on Judith, who was fidgeting at the sight of the newcomers. She turned to smile and whispered to her daughter, "It's okay, sweetheart."
Negan stood with his hands on his hips, looking at the woman in front of him. A baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire rested on his shoulder. He chuckled with amusement and then walked over to put his arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace. His handsome face leaned in to kiss her lips before pulling away to kiss the soft cheek of the child in her arms. Judith wrinkled her neck with ticklishness and laughed softly with delight.
Rick glared at Negan, "What the hell are you doing, Negan?"
Negan whistled with satisfaction, "Your daughter seems to like it, or... our daughter?" He winked at Rick before turning and walking into the house.
Rick sighed in frustration. Turning to look at Negan, found the other man walking out without his leather jacket, Lucille, the baseball bat, slung over his shoulder. He walked over and sat in a chair on the front porch, looking relaxed. He whistled a tune cheerfully, with Judith, who was in Rick's arms, watching with interest.
The situation remained calm. Judith had been asleep for a while, so Rick sent her to her son Carl to carry her into the house for a nap.
The only ones left in front of the house were Negan, Rick and Carl, who came out to sit and enjoy the breeze after checking that his sister was sleeping comfortably.
"Can you stop staring at my butt, Negan?" Rick said, breaking the silence. She had been aware of the staring for a while.
"Sorry, beautiful, your curvy butt caught my eye," Negan said without a hint of remorse, and even gave a cocky smile. Rick looked away for a moment before turning and walking into the house.
"Lock the room."
The sweet voice faded away, and Negan laughed with delight, turning to meet the gaze of Carl, who was already watching. "Your mom is absolutely awesome, kid."
Carl rolled his eyes in annoyance, turning to look at Negan, who was walking into the house closely.
"Where are you going?"
"Take your sister somewhere else. This is a time for the adults to 'talk'."
Carl was followed by the sound of footsteps going up to the second floor. He sighed in annoyance, walked over to Judith, who was still asleep in his arms, and headed straight for Carol's house.

"Mmm... Hmm," a continuous groan echoed from their throat since the door closed and locked.
Negan kissed Rick passionately and with a deep hunger. He liked Rick, loved her strength, and was fascinated by her determination even in terrifying situations, ever since that moment when he was stared at with steely eyes despite her trembling body.
He pulled her waist close to him, leaving almost no space. His other hand went inside her white t-shirt, stroking her abdomen, which was toned from exercise. He moved his hand up to her breasts, which were soft and just the right size, before squeezing and massaging them according to the surge of his emotions.
They both pulled their lips apart before Negan took off Rick's shirt, followed by his undershirt. He carried her to the bed and kissed her again. She adjusted her position to match him, opening her eyes when Negan pulled away to take off his shirt, revealing the body she had seen before when they first met.
They embraced again, helping each other undress until they were naked.
Their bodies rubbed together to increase desire. Negan caressed her for a while before slowly inserting himself all the way in. He moved in and out with the rising of passion.
"Ah fuck!..." Negan moaned with blissful pleasure. He thrust his body in and out until he cum inside her.
"Ugh." Rick bit her lip, her chest arched, her hands clenched with the sensation she was feeling. Her eyes met another pair of eyes that were already looking at her. Their lips pressed together. They kissed, and they began to exchange touches again and again.

Carl woke up the next morning with Judith still sleepy in his arms. He looked for his mother, who was usually in the kitchen all morning, but there was no sign of her. Negan's leather jacket was still draped over the living room sofa. Carl sighed resignedly.
They were definitely still asleep.
"We're eating just the two of us today, aren't we, Judith?" He turned to his sister, who was looking at him with good humour. Judith, now fully awake, nodded brightly and clapped her hands in delight when her brother kissed her chubby cheek.

Rick slept soundly in Negan's embrace. Both shifted slightly, Negan's strong arm tightening to bring the body in his arms closer. Noses pressed against foreheads, eyes of different colours opened simultaneously, but neither moved away from the other.
Negan rolled onto his back, with Rick snuggling against his chest. His hands gently smoothed Rick's thin shoulders. "Lucille and I, we wanted to have moments like this together," his voice broke the silence, his gaze fixed thoughtfully on the white ceiling.
Rick nodded in agreement. She understood both Negan and Lucille. "You were just trying to keep her alive, but she wanted you with her until the very end, too." Her slender hand rested on the tall man's chest, over his heart. "They're the ones who deserve to die."
Negan was silent for a moment. "What about you?" He lowered his face to look at the person lying against him, then leaned over and kissed the nape of their neck possessively.
She groaned softly, "My husband is probably like you, sleeping with his wife's best friend, but you..." Rick repeated the sentence. Negan pulled away from the white neck he had been kissing and stared at her instead. Two pairs of mismatched eyes met meaningfully, and her hand reached up to touch his rough cheek.
"You're better than him at loving your wife, my husband... Shane was a good father but a bad husband. Some of the scars he left behind still hurt me and my child, but they can be erased. And the last thing he left me with was his attempt to kill me so he could be with the person he wanted."
Negan pressed his forehead against Rick's, his lips gently kissing her mouth as a form of comfort. It was a kiss they both knew wasn't driven by lust, a kiss that was desired and welcomed, a kiss that conveyed a deeper range of feelings between them.

Carl sat watching his mother and Negan go back and forth. They both came down at noon and exchanged strange glances that he didn't want to talk about much because it made him want to throw up his food.
"Okay, don't tell me, please."
Rick pursed her lips before bowing her head to continue eating, her face flushed. Negan chuckled to himself with satisfaction and began eating his own.
Lunch ended with Carl still rolling his eyes at what seemed to be... Okay, no. He absolutely won't say it.
Negan had to go back to his group with his mother standing at the front door to see him off. His mother stood with her arms crossed, leaning against the door frame, with Negan's arms and legs crossed in front of her. Lucille was draped over his right shoulder. Carl admitted that Negan was good-looking, a cool old man, but with a bad attitude.
Damn that asshole's attitude! Let's just say they've been saying goodbye for about half an hour now, and there's no sign of Negan leaving. He's still chatting and smiling at his mother. It's the same mischievous smile as always, but different.
"When are you going to leave, Negan?" Carl said, breaking the pink atmosphere in front of the door.
Rick chuckled softly, her face flushed. Negan glanced over, sending a mischievous grin to Carl. He raised an eyebrow slightly in challenge and then kissed Rick goodbye before calling out loudly to Carl, "See ya, adopted son."
Carl bared his teeth at Negan, then turned to Rick when Negan walked away.
"Do I have to call him Dad?"
Rick looked at Carl before shaking her head with a small smile. "Nonsense, Carl." She walked over to kiss her son's forehead and give Judith a cheek kiss before leaving the house for work.
Carl watched his mother walk away with a smile. "It would be good to practice calling him 'Dad' a little, wouldn't it, Judith?"
