Chapter 1: Clone (Sean/White)

Chapter Text

Sean was leaning against the doorframe, watching White running around the tiny kitchen. The pots on the stove were boiling, releasing mouth-watering aroma into the air, while his other half busied himself with the oven and the cake baking in it.  Observing his beloved, Sean still couldn't believe how stupid and blind he must have been not to see the obvious difference between White and his evil clone, Black. His White was kind, smart, with a heart of gold, so pure and beautiful.

"Sean, love, can you help me a little?" White shouted, not knowing he was standing just a few steps behind him. Sean shook his head, pushing himself off the doorframe, and walked towards him.

"I am here, baby. What do you need?" He gently touched White's shoulder. The younger guy turned to him, hands full of a hot baking tray. His eyes sparkled behind those round glasses as soon as he saw him, and Sean swore he would never get tired of that expression full of love.

"Can you stir the stew, please?" White pointed at the pot. Sean obeyed him without a word. Taking the lid off, he peeked inside, and a wide smile spread across his face.

"You are going all out," Sean commented.

"Of course. It's P'Black's birthday." White pouted adorably as he put the tray with the cake on the kitchen counter.

"It's your birthday too." Sean pointed out.

"Hmm..." White shrugged as if it didn't matter and continued to work on the birthday menu.

"I want for P'Black's birthday to be unforgettable," White confessed. Sean glanced at his boyfriend, putting down the spoon before he engulfed him in a tight embrace.

"I know it will, baby." He whispered, lightly kissing White's temple as his mind wandered to the velvet box hidden in the deepest part of his nightstand.

"And not only for him." He thought.

Chapter 2: Planet (Boss/Ozone) - Little helper

Notes:

Part 9/??

Chapter Text

The puzzle pieces were scattered on the coffee table. Boss watched silently as Ozone gently took pieces, one by one, examining them before putting them back on the table and creating small piles. It was fascinating. He had no idea why Ozone did it, thinking it could be his autism acting up.

"Do you need help?" Boss asked. It took a while for Ozone to shift his attention from the colourful puzzle piece, which Boss assumed was part of one of the planets.

"Ozone can do it alone." Ozone took another fragment, examined it, and set it down. The answer somehow disappointed him. Deep down, he wanted Ozone's attention to be on him, not the stupid puzzle he brought. Realising what he was thinking, Boss shook his head. He was here for nothing else but Day's neighbour.

"Okay, N'Ozone. What if I make something light to eat while you work on the puzzle?" Boss asked. Ozone looked at him again, blinking cutly before nodding.

"Ozone's tummy feels empty. It wants to eat." Ozone touched his belly, over the duvet, and Boss shouldn't have found the gesture adorable. He pushed the urge to touch Ozone's belly and stood up abruptly, startling the younger a bit.

"Yeah... Okay... Let's fill your tummy." Boss turned around and hurried briskly to the kitchen. As soon as he was out of Ozone's line of vision, he exhaled deeply. Leaning against the kitchen counter, he tried to steady himself. He was not here to take care of Ozone nor to get smitten by his adorable and pretty face. He was here to do his job- watch his target and make sure he would break up with his girlfriend. But hell, it was hard not to gain a soft spot for the autistic guy.

Chapter 3: Experiment (Pick/Rome) - Night Shift

Notes:

Part 12/??

Chapter Text

Rome placed the food on the table, while Pick brought two plastic plates that he and Porsche had somehow managed to acquire in the office. They mostly ate delivered food, so there was no need for other dishes than the cups.

"We only have these." He put the plate and two sets of chopsticks on the table. Rome smiled at him before he pulled the whole dining set out of his bag.

"I wasn't sure if you had anything here, so I brought them." The hue of red spread across his cheeks, making him especially adorable.

"You are a lifesaver. I was afraid for a second we would be forced to eat with our hands." Pick grinned as he sat across from Rome. The young photographer giggled and took it upon himself to distribute the meal on the plates. They ate in silence, and Pick couldn't stop himself from wolfing down everything Rome cooked. It was so delicious.

"Do you want more?" Rome asked, a little surprised, Pick's plate was already empty while he hadn't even started eating properly.

"Yes, please. It's incredible." Pick's comment made Rome blush again. His plate was being filled again when the doorbell rang. Pick groaned, standing up.

"I need to go look. Wait here, please." Pick pleaded, scared Rome would leave while he attended to the person outside.

"Don't worry, I won't go anywhere," Rome assured him.

"If you want, I can help you at the desk?" He proposed instead. After thinking for a moment, Pick found the idea very tempting.

"Okay, I will show you the basics." Pick agreed. Who knows if this small experiment with Rome could bring them closer.

Chapter 4: Battery (Jane/Ryan) - I am my husband's intern

Notes:

Part 39/??

Chapter Text

The sound of running water echoed through the small apartment. Ryan sighed, turning to the stove to stir the mix in the pan. Jane often teased him as a form of punishment, but Ryan didn't mind, knowing that one pouty, sad face would melt him. He had the older male wrapped around his pretty little fingers. He recalled the first time he used this method on Jane, as if it were yesterday.

It was at the beginning of their relationship. The exam week just ended, and Ryan wanted to spend his free week with his boyfriend, but Tao-hu dragged him to one of those infamous college parties despite his protests. He didn't know anyone in the place, and his best friend disappeared among the dancing and drinking bodies, leaving him alone. Someone put the red cup with a mixed alcohol beverage into his hand. Taking a small sip was enough for him to pour the nasty thing into the nearest available trash can. He spent at least twenty minutes searching for a quiet corner where he wouldn't be disturbed before taking out his phone to message Jane that he would arrive at his apartment the next day, because he was with Tao-hu. Of course, his boyfriend responded with a sad emoji, but didn't ask further for the reason. Ryan assumed he was busy at work and put the phone back into his pocket. Hours passed, and he started to get a headache from the noise and the constant flirting from the drunkards. It was time to find his best friend and pull him out of this nightmare. After a while, he managed to locate Tao-hu, who was completely drunk and barely able to stand. He was trying to dance among a crowd of people who were in a similar state. Shaking his head, he struggled to pull his friend out of the house. The light breeze and silence were a welcome relief to his soul, but the real problem was how to get Tao-hu home. There was only one way he could think about, aside from a taxi, which he didn't have enough money for. With a sigh, he pulled out his phone, dialling his boyfriend's number. Jane picked up soon, and when Ryan explained the situation to him, he immediately agreed to pick them up. Of course, Ryan could feel the worry in Jane's voice, and maybe a little bit of disappointment and anger, too. He ended the call just in time before his phone battery died.

Jane arrived half an hour later, his whole being emitting all the emotions Ryan felt through the call. Without a word, Jane helped put Tao-hu in the backseat, and then they drove to his house. Initially, Ryan wanted to stay with his friend, but Jane's discomfort prompted him to change his mind. The first thing Ryan did when they arrived at his boyfriend's house was to cling to his waist and pull the most pitiful, pouty, sad eyes he knew and apologise. To his surprise, it had an immediate effect on Jane.

Ryan giggled at the memory. He just finished cooking when he heard the bathroom door open and close. It was time to put food on the plate and prepare his ultimate weapon to drive away his fiancée's bad mood.

Chapter 5: Communication (Khai/Third) - Behind the curtain

Notes:

Part 41/??

Chapter Text

Third stayed hidden in Khai's embrace for what seemed like hours. He could feel Two's and Bone's eyes on them, but he didn't dare to look up. His tears had dried up, and Khai's shirt was likely soaked with them as well. It was Khai who pulled away first, checking if he was alright. The concern on his face made his heart leap, and for the first time after his return, he wanted to lean closer and kiss Khai's lips without fear of getting his heart broken again. Third took a deep breath to push the urge aside. He looked into Khai's eyes, and the older man looked at him the same way. The silent communication felt like a promise to fulfil their desire later without an audience.

"Third, I am sorry." Two cut the silence, making Third give him his attention. He didn't say anything. Staying quiet seemed like the right thing to do.

"We didn't mean any harm. We just..." Two's voice cracked, and Third knew he had a hard time holding his tears back. It pained Thirds to see him like that. Moving away from Khai's warm body, he opened his arm, waiting. It took Two only a few seconds to run into his embrace, wrapping his arms around him in a tight grip. The sobs and apologies once again filled the silent hallway. Third glanced at Bone, watching his pained expression while holding Two. It seemed like he wanted to join them, but something was holding him back. Perhaps it was the way he had treated him or the burden of what they had done to him. Regardless, it was clear that he regretted his actions. This time, Third felt ready to forgive his friends for hurting him.

Chapter 6: Alternate (Off/Gun) - My sweet omega

Notes:

Part 14/??

Chapter Text

Off didn't hesitate and ran after his best friend, following him towards the garage. Tay was already sitting in his car when Off opened the door and sat in the passenger seat. His friend glared at him, trying to push him out, but Off didn't budge.

"I am going with you. I want to be there while you talk with my mate." Off glared at him, releasing dominant pheromones. Tay groaned but started the car and drove off. The ride was uncomfortable. The interior of the car was filled with their pheromones as their alphas tried to make the other succumb. It was like a liberation when Tay parked behind the Gun's home, and they could finally emerge from the confined space. Tay immediately hurried into the building, startling the guests in the cosy café.

"Pet, where are you?!" Tay shouted, and Off felt embarrassed because of him. The familiar scent lingered towards his nose as his pretty omega emerged from behind the corner, his eyes wide with confusion.

"P'Tay, weird Alpha? What are you doing here?" Gun asked as he wiped his delicate hands into his powder green apron.

"We need to talk." Tay frowned. Gun visibly stiffened at his tone, and Off's inner alpha felt a strong urge to protect him.

"Can it wait? I'm making a new cake with alternating layers of white and dark chocolate." Gun blinked at his cousin innocently.

"No, we are talking now," Tay answered strictly.

Chapter 7: Hybrid (Sean/White) - Doctor White

Notes:

Part 98/??

Chapter Text

The whole group took a small path towards the beach. White walked between Sean and Black. They served as his protective shield, even though they were alone. Soon, they arrived at the quiet beach. The salty smell of the wind brought a smile to White's face. The memoirs of his childhood surfaced, and he could see his and Black's younger selves play in the waves while their bodyguards stood asied watching them. Back then, neither of them cared about their parents' absence as long as they could be together. Now, he was back at the beach with his brother and the love of his life. White slid his palm in Sean's, intertwining their fingers before he glanced at his brother. Their eyes met. The silent plea to let him be alone with Sean for a while was answered with a snort and nod. White smiled and started walking, dragging confused Sean with him. White led them closer to the water.

"If you want to dip your feet, you should take off your sandals," Sean advised him. White looked down at his feet, contemplating whether he should just let his shoes get wet or take on Sean's advice, when the older male let go of his hand and kneeled in front of him. White watched with wide eyes as his boyfriend gently lifted his leg, took off the sandal, put it back, and did the same with the other foot. Grabbing the shoes with one hand, he stood up and held White's with the other.

"Now, you are ready." Sean packed his lips before he nudged him to get his feet wet in the sea. And White did just that. He took a few more steps, letting the warm water wash over his feet. Instantly, another set of memories returned. His eyes stung with unshed tears as he remembered the silly dialogue with his brother.

The soft touch of Sean's hand on his cheek returned him to reality.

"Are you alright, baby?" Sean asked worriedly. White smiled at him, shaking his head.

"I remember when we were little, how I told P'Black that I wanted to be a dolphin hybrid so I could swim all day."

Sean looked at him, surprised, and then he started laughing.

"You would do a beautiful dolphin hybrid." Sean pinched his cheek, making him shy.

Chapter 8: Pattern (Pick/Rome) - In the wilderness

Notes:

Part 41/??

Chapter Text

Pick's POV

The second Rome disappeared behind the door, Pick's world seemed to stop. The nervousness and fear washed over him in waves, and he couldn't stop them. One moment, he was sitting next to Porsche on the uncomfortable plastic chair, and the next, he was standing, marching in front of the examination room. He didn't know how long he repeated this pattern, but it eventually made his best friend act. He grabbed his arm and pulled him onto the seat.

"Rome will be alright and out soon." Pick knew that Porsche just tried to make him calm, but he couldn't help himself. The anxiety of not having Rome by his side, hidden behind the thick wall, all alone with two strangers, made him even more on edge. He hid his face in his palms for a second before he was able to look at his friend.

"I know... I just want him with me." Pick sighed. Porsche nodded, patting his back in understanding.

"That's what love does with people. You want to protect the one you love, have them by your side every second of your life." Pick watched as his best friend pulled Emma closer and kissed her temple. A sad smile spread across his face. Until now, he had only focused on Rome and himself, not realising that their friends were affected by the situation just as much as he was. Poor Emma was shaking, like a leaf in the wind,  and even though she tried to be strong for her best friend, she couldn't stop a few tears from escaping her eyes.

"Thank you for being there for Rome." Pick reached for Emma's hand, squeezing it for a brief moment, to show her his appreciation.

"Where else should I be. I am his bestie." Emma wiped her tears with the back of her hand, just in time for the white door to open.

Chapter 9: Hypotesis (Ten/Prem) - Heal me with your food

Notes:

Part 44/??

Chapter Text

Prem's hypothesis was correct. As soon as he used his puppy eyes and pout, Ten visibly relaxed, all of the anger leaving his body.

"You are playing dirty, Cook." Ten huffed and returned to his breakfast. Prem only smiled at him. His phone rang suddenly, startling him. He shuffled his phone out of his pocket, glancing at the caller's name. He sighed with a slight frown, hesitating over picking it up.

"You are not taking it?" Ten asked with a full mouth. Prem nodded slowly.

"It's not important."

Ten eyed him suspiciously but returned to his food. It didn't take long for the phone to start ringing again. Prem tried to ignore the irritating noise, focusing on his companion.

"It seems important. You should take it."Ten placed the utensils on the table, gazing at him intently. Prem sighed, and finally, with much hesitation, he picked up the call.

"Hello."

"No, I can't come in today." Prem's eyes locked with Ten's as he answered the person on the other side of the line. The doctor's relaxed face visibly tensed, changing into an irritated frown.

"Actually, my doctor said I shouldn't use my hand for at least a week." Prem bit his lower lip nervously.

"Yes, I can do that. See you later, P'Ma." Prem ended the call. The room fell into uncomfortable silence. They stared at each other for a while until Prem found the courage to speak.

"I need to give P'Changma the papers from the hospital. He said it's necessary for the sick leave I am taking."

Ten stared at him for another minute before he stood up.

"I will take you."

Prem blinked at him, not understanding the sudden decision.

"But you are at work, Doc. You can't leave." He pointed out. Ten's shoulders slumped as he realised Prem was telling the truth.

Chapter 10: Result (Off/Gun)

Notes:

This story contains mpreg. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Chapter Text

Gun was nervously shaking his leg as he sat on the toilet seat, holding the small white device tightly in his hands. His eyes were focused on the little display, waiting for the result. His partner was marching nervously from one side of the bathroom to the other, biting his nails. Any other time, Gun would have laughed at him, but today he understood him completely, because he was feeling the same way.

He and Off got married two years ago. They enjoyed those two years, just two of them, but lately they realised something was missing. They didn't need a long discussion; they knew exactly what they wanted. It was time to expand their family. Gun stopped taking the contraception, and they didn't use any other type of protection, allowing nature to take its course. When Gun started to feel unwell a few weeks ago, they immediately bought a pregnancy test. Now anxiously waiting for the test result.

Gun stared at the white strip, hypnotising the lines to appear. He felt like he was waiting for hours before the faint pink lines emerged, instantly changing into the solid colour. Gun's eyes filled with tears, looking up at his husband. Off immediately halted his steps, rushing to kneel in front of him.

"What is it, babii. Tell me." Off's hands touched Gun's knees.

"We are pregnant, Papii." Gun sobbed, watching as Off's eyes widened, and a giant smile spread on his face. Soon, his partner's arms wrapped around his waist, holding him like a precious gem.

"I love you so much."

"I love you too, Papii."

Chapter 11: Electric (Sean/White) - Devils in the house

Notes:

Part 37/??

Chapter Text

Sean followed White reluctantly. The gang with Black was already waiting for them on the sofas, and to his surprise, the devil twin sat next to Gram, their hips almost touching. His friend didn't seem to mind the proximity between them, which surprised Sean even more. He made a mental note to ask his friend about it later.

White stopped in front of the small space, Yok left for them, waiting. Sean didn't have to be a mind reader to know what his demon companion wanted. He plopped on the couch, patting his legs. White smiled widely, settling on his lap to Black's displeasure.

"I wanted to move and make more space for you, but it seems it's not needed." Yok winked at them, making Sean roll his eyes.

"It's only natural for a freshly mated pair to be close. The bond is still strengthening." White explained.

"So you are telling us we will be forced to watch you grope each other?" Gram groaned.

"It's disgusting, but needed." Black snorted, looking away from them. Sean smirked at Black, tightening his grip on his other half's waist, to make Black even more irritated. White snuggled to his chest, and his palm found a way into his shirt. The soft touch on his skin was like an electric current sending sparks all over his body, and awakening the need to take his demon companion here and there.

"Yuck..." Yok made a fake gagging sound, pulling Sean out of his thoughts.

"Let's start discussing the plan to eliminate Todd." Gumpa sighed.

Chapter 12: Advance (Thawin/Liftoil) - The dark side of you

Notes:

Part 38/??

Chapter Text

Liftoil sat at the table, watching Thawin effortlessly prepare dinner for them. With his head supported by his palms, he stared dreamily at the tall male. There were still thousands of questions in his mind and memories he had to uncover, but nevertheless, he felt happy. Thawin opened up to him, and he was willing to share his memories of their past lives with him.

"If you stare at me so much, I will melt, my angel." Thawin's voice cut the silence. Liftoil's smile grew larger.

"In that case, I should stop. I don't want my man to become a pile of goo." Liftoil giggled at his own silly answer. Thawin shook his head, but the corner of his mouth raised, forming something similar to a smile, nonetheless.

"Let's eat." Thwin put the full plate in front of him before he sat beside him. Liftoil dug into his meal, moaning as the various flavours hit his taste buds. In the corner of his eye, he caught Thawin shake his head in amusement. It was a refreshing change from the strict and stoic expression that Thawin usually wore. They finished the food in no time, and Liftoil offered to wash the dishes. The older male didn't protest. Liftoil thought he would leave him alone in the kitchen while he went to do his things, trusting that the kitchen would be clean. However, he was mistaken. Thawin stayed seated, watching him the same way Liftoil did before. It was nice to know the older male felt the same way about him.

"It reminds me, Phi. I have a club activity tomorrow, so I will be home a bit late. I thought I would let you know in advance." Liftoil glanced at Thawin.

"I know," Thawin answered, startling him a bit.

"Did, P'Alan told you?" He had a strong suspicion that his friend was the one who was reporting on him.

Chapter 13: Method (Boss/Ozone) - Little helper

Notes:

Part 10/??

Chapter Text

Boss rummaged through the fridge, finding surprisingly enough ingredients to make sandwiches. He positioned himself at the kitchen counter in a way that ensured he was within Ozone's field of vision while preparing the food. The younger male was focused on the puzzle, but Boss could feel him staring at him occasionally. It was a strange but nice feeling. He was putting the sandwiches on the plate when he caught a movement outside the house. Peeking through the window, he recognised his target. It seemed the tall male had just arrived home from his night shift. Boss kept staring at him, observing his every move. Surprisingly, the kitchen had a good view of his target's house gate and front yard. He made some calculations in his head, glancing at the ceiling. If he were right, the room right above the kitchen would have the best view of the neighbour's house. He needed to check it out, but he couldn't just walk there with Ozone in the living room. Maybe he could wait until the younger guy takes his nap or just tire him out somehow. He wasn't sure which method to use, thought.

Boss was deep into thinking that he didn't hear the soft paddling echoing through the house coming his way. The soft tug on the hem of his shirt startled him.

"P'Boss, Ozone's tummy says it wants to eat now." Ozone's pretty eyes blinked at him through the big glasses. Boss's heart skipped a beat, and his breath hitched. Ozone was nearly two heads shorter than him, allowing him to catch the sweet scent of his shampoo, which almost made him dizzy. Ozone was still wrapped in the soft duvet, only his bare legs peaking from under it. Boss's gaze lingered on the pearl-white skin longer than was appropriate before he managed to regain his composure.

"I was about to bring it, N'Ozone." Boss gently touched the younger person's blanket-covered arm, hoping Ozone wouldn't be scared by the sudden contact. To his surprise, Ozone only flinched slightly but let him hold onto him. His eyes shifted towards the window, and his face lit up.

"P'Doughnut is home." Ozone suddenly announced, pulling away from him.

"P'Doughnut?" The frown on his face formed automatically. He wasn't sure if the reason was the happiness in Ozone's eyes or the sudden loss of contact.

"Phi, always brings Ozone doughnuts. So he's P'Dounghnut." Ozone explained before he turned around and ran outside the house. Boss followed him, still confused. Everything became clear when Ozone waved enthusiastically at their neighbour, calling him over.

Chapter 14: Sterile (Sean/White)

Chapter Text

"Ouch, it stings," Sean whined as the cotton with the disinfectant touched the cut on his arm.

"Serves you right." White hissed, but his touch was more careful this time.

"Are you mad at me, love?" Sean glanced at his husband, scared of his answer.

"No, I am not mad at you." White put the cotton aside, reaching for the ointment. He gently applied it to the wound and sighed.

"I am still scared, though." Sean expected another answer, yet it seemed this one hurt him even more.

"I am sorry, love. I will be more careful next time." He apologised, lightly touching his husband's thigh. White glared at him as he put the sterile plaster on the cut.

"I don't want you to go anywhere near protests in the near future," White said. The tone in his voice implied it wasn't meant to be a request.

"But love, what about our cause?" Sean tried to pressure his husband.

"Our cause can go to hell, Sean. Did you know how I felt when Gram called to tell me you were stabbed?" White stood up, glaring at him with his eyes glistening with unshed tears.

"He was exaggerating. You saw it yourself. It was just a scratch." Sean argued.

"This time, Sean. And what if it won't be next time? The fear of losing you was so bad that it physically affected our little peanut. I thought I would lose you and our little one." White was crying now. Sean sat frozen on the sofa, absorbing the information his husband just told him. His eyes travelled to White's bulging belly, and he couldn't imagine how giant White's fear must have been. He woke up from the stupor, reaching for his husband, settling him on his lap.

"I am sorry, love. I am so sorry." He kissed White's temple while his arms gently wrapped around his baby bump, caressing it lovingly.

"I won't go anywhere without your permission ever again," Sean promised. White snuggled into his chest, nodding in agreement. Sean could tell his tiny husband had finally calmed down, all the tension leaving his body.

"I will make P'Black do it too." White decided.

"Good luck with that." Sean kissed the top of his head with a light smile.

Chapter 15: Pod (Khai/Third) - Behind the curtain

Notes:

Part 42/??

Chapter Text

"Let's talk later over dinner. We have a meeting to attend." Khai interrupted the emotional moment. Third felt Khai's warm palm touching his waist, gently nudging him to move away from Two. There was something tender yet possessive in the gesture, and it made his heart race. Two pulled away from him, tears still in his eyes. Third couldn't help but wonder if they could restore their previous relationship. They used to be like two peas in one pod, sharing everything until the fateful day. Third wasn't sure what hurt him more - Khai playing with his feelings or Two's betrayal.

"Yeah, we should go. Others are waiting for us." Two mumbled as he tried to wipe his wet cheeks. Third nodded, letting Khai guide him towards the small meeting room. Two and Bone followed closely behind them. It almost felt like the old times. But this time, Khai's arm wrapped protectively around his waist meant more than a friendship, and Third would lie if he said he didn't like it. The HOD gang arrived at the meeting, taking their respective seats. Shane began the session by discussing the theatre's new program. Third listened with half interest, mostly looking around the room.  When his eyes met Un's curious stare, he couldn't help but shrug.

"I will tell you later." He mouthed, receiving a light nod from his friend.

Chapter 16: Metal (Off/Gun) - Bubble Love

Notes:

Part 37/??

Chapter Text

The day with Gun and the kids flew by so fast. The young teacher was putting Akin and Nirin to sleep, reading them their favourite book. Off used this time to think about Gun's words. How was he supposed to court him? The kids would be with him for another two days, and he doubted Gun would like to stay with them for that amount of time. He had his own life, his job. Off sighed, sinking more under the soft duvet. The tablet and the photos stored on it were nearly forgotten as he couldn't concentrate on anything else but the young kindergarten teacher.

"What are you doing, Papii?" Gun spoke up while he climbed into the bed next to him. Off glanced at him, clutching the metal object in his hands a little bit tighter.

"I was trying to work, but I can't concentrate." He admitted. Gun nodded with a smile.

"Too tired?"

"Something like that." Off smiled at the younger guy, who was curiously peeking over his shoulder.

"Do you want to look?" He asked, tilting the screen towards Gun.

"Can I? Isn't it inappropriate to look at photos of strangers?" Gun asked, taken aback by the suggestion. Off let out a soft laugh, shuffling closer towards the younger male.

"It's not. The groom and bride would post them on their social media later, after all."

"Oh, you were photographing the wedding?" Gun's eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Yeah. Look..." Off showed him the photo of a bride and groom. The sudden realisation that these could be their future photos made his heart race. And Off loved that idea.

Chapter 17: Odyssey (Jane/Ryan) - I am my husband's intern

Notes:

Part 40/??

Chapter Text

As Ryan predicted, it took only one of his infamous puppy eyes, and Jane gave up on the punishment. They happily ate the food he prepared before cuddling in front of the television. Ryan loved these moments where Jane didn't think about work and only paid attention to him. It made him wonder about their future meried life odyssey. Will this happiness change? He snuggled closer to his fiancée, dismissing negative thoughts, letting his favourite scent lull him into a sleep.

"Okay, I am going straight to the clinic. See you there, Baimon." The hushed talking woke Ryan up. Stretching his stiff body, not surprised, he woke up in their bed. Jane was the perfect partner, taking care of him like that. Ryan glanced around to spot Jane sitting on the edge of the bed holding a phone. His slumped shoulders indicated that something was wrong.

"Everything alright, P'Jane?" Ryan lightly touched his fiancée's back. Jane glanced at him with a sigh.

"Baimon called. Pick and Porsche want to see our progress."

"Oh... We are not entirely finished. Will they be mad?" Ryan asked, worried about his man.

"I don't think so. We have enough to show them." Jane tried to smile. Ryan nodded, though he could see Jane's uneasiness.

"I should go with you," Ryan announced.

"No... I will bring you to GoodPick." Jane tried to argue.

"I am going with you. P'Pick will be more understanding with me there. And don't say it's not the truth." Ryan glared at him, instantly shutting him up. Jane only nodded as he had nothing to say against him.

Chapter 18: Bionic (OffGun & TayNew)

Chapter Text

"Off is a winner again!" The MC announced, and the crowd erupted in cheers. Gun clasped his hands happily, jumping around his partner in pure bliss. The kiss on the cheek was just a small part of the reward he prepared for him. They lingered around the stage a bit longer before the MC announced another part of the program, prompting them to leave for the backstage.

"Hey Peng, that's not fair," Tay whined.

"Yeah, how come you are so strong?" New joined the complaining.

"The visits to the gym pay off." Off shrugged. Gun grinned widely, proud of his boyfriend. Off's arm muscles became larger and more defined. He had gained significant power, allowing him to lift him with one hand as if he weighed nothing, and Gun couldn't complain one bit. It came in handy in the privacy of their home.

"Lies, are those bionic arms?" Tay poked his friend's biceps to make sure they were natural. Gun frowned at the gesture and then slapped the annoying hand away.

"Mine, don't touch." Gun pouted at Tay while wrapping his small arms around his boyfriend's.

"So possessive..." New laughed as he put his hand on Tay's shoulder.

"You hear him, Peng. No touching." Off grinned happily. The excited glint in his eyes didn't go unnoticed by Gun. He definitely has to reward his Papii later.

Chapter 19: Robot (Off/Gun) - My sweet omega

Gun nodded hesitatingly before he led them into the kitchen. Off followed the two like a robot, trying to hold the urge to protect his mate. Tay's phereomons indicated he was angry and confused, and Off didn't want him to snap at the poor omega in any way. The sweet aroma of chocolate and sugar hit him in the nose, making him salivate. Off shook his head. There was no time to think about his mate's delicious treats.

"What do you want to talk about, P'Tay?" Gun asked, his voice trembling slightly. Sensing the young omega's discomfort, Off sneaked closer to him, just enough to calm him down while staying far enough away to avoid Tay's attack.

"Why didn't you tell me Off is your mate?" Tay growled. Gun stiffened at the cold tone. Off let out the growl of his own, letting his friend know that he was ready to protect his mate. Tay ignored him, as his attention was fully on Gun.

"We found out only a few days ago. There was nothing to tell." Gun pouted, looking down at the bowl, which Off assumed was a melted chocolate. Gun took the whisk and gently stirred it.

"Did you sleep with him?" Tay asked again. Off shot him a look, totally shocked by the question. The soft gasp coming from Gun only assured him that he felt the same.

"That's what you think of me? That I am whore who would sleep with the first alpha he came across?" Gun glared at the older male.

"For your information, P'Tay. Even though this weird Alpha is my mate, it doesn't mean I would jump into bed with him right away." He added, offended. Off nodded in agreement. His Gun wasn't like that.

"I didn't mean it like that." Tay lowered his eyes.

"I just don't want you to end up like..." He didn't finish the sentence.

"I know, P'Tay. I won't end up like Mae." Gun stepped closer to his cousin, pulling him into a hug.

"And you should know your friend isn't like him." He finished. Off watched the pair curiously. He wasn't sure what they were talking about. Although he was curious, he wouldn't ask until they told him.

Chapter 20: Cosmic (Boss/Ozone) - Little helper

Chapter Text

"Oh, who do we have here?" The melodious voice echoed through the area as the tall neighbour crossed the street, stopping in front of the now-opened gate.

"You are home today, N'Ozone? Does N'Day have a day off?" The guy asked, looking over the younger's shoulder. His eyebrow raised, seeing someone other than Ozone's cousin.

"Day is at school. Ozone is with P'Boss today. We are putting together a puzzle. It has planets and stars on it." Ozone informed the stranger happily. Boss frowned. Till now, he hasn't heard Ozone talk so much. Something in him stirred uncomfortably. He didn't like how Ozone smiled at his target.

"It's a cosmic theme. That's nice." The neighbour smiled at Ozone. The younger nodded eagerly before he glanced at the plastic bag the male was holding.

"You have sharp eyes, N'Ozone." The man reached into the bag, pulling out a small box, and handed it to Ozone.

"Doughnuts!" Ozone shouted excitedly. The tall male laughed. The sincere joy of making the autistic guy happy made Boss's blood boil.

"N'Ozone, we should go inside. The sandwiches are waiting." Boss ended the joyful moment. His words made the tall, handsome male look at him.

"Hello, who are you? I didn't see you here before?" The guy asked, scanning Boss from head to toes. There was a suspicion and distrust in his gaze.

"It's P'Boss. He took Ozone and Day to the planetarium and got Ozone a puzzle. He's nice. Ozone likes him." Ozone shuffled closer to him. The statement caused Boss's heart to race.

"Is that so? He must be a really nice person." The guy commented. Ozone nodded, but his focus was already on the box with the sweet treat.

"I am Khatha. Nice to meet you, Khun Boss." Khatha introduced himself.

"Likewise, Khun Khatha." Boss answered with a forced smile. The fake politeness in Khatha's every gesture and move just didn't sit well with him.

Chapter 21: Laser (Pick/Rome) - In the wilderness

Summary:

Part 42/??

Chapter Text

Rome's POV

Cleaning and redressing his wounded legs were painful, but Rome endured it with a straight face. The doctor praised him, but he didn't pay much attention to his words. He just wanted to be all over. He was asked to remove his shirt for the doctor to examine his back and chest. The older male spoke while being examined, and the nurse recorded everything on the computer. The latex glows were cold and uncomfortable on his bare skin. Rome turned around per the doctor's instruction, letting him touch the back of his head.

"I can feel a bump here. Does it hurt?" The doctor asked as he pressed the place. Rome hissed, feeling the sharp pain.

"I will send you for the X-ray. I want to be sure there's no crack in the skull." The doctor nodded at the nurse. She promptly began preparing the documents for him.

"You can dress up, Rome. We will take some blood samples now, and then you can go for the X-ray. The results will be available soon, so you can wait while I look them over." The doctor patted his shoulder.

"Thank you," Rome whispered.

The nurse drew his blood and assisted him out, providing directions to the X-ray room before she returned to her duties. Rome stood in front of the door, looking lost.

"Rome... You did well." He was suddenly hauled into the hug. Inhaling the familiar scent of his boyfriend made him snuggle closer. He badly needed to feel him close, feel his warmth.

"Are you done?" Emma touched his arm. Rome shook his head, lifting his hand with the paper from the nurse. Emma took the document from him and read it quickly.

"They need an X-ray." She announced.

"Let's go. The sooner we get it done, the sooner we can go home." Porsche urged them to go. Rome let Pick lead him through the halls, not caring that his boyfriend shot lasers from his eyes at anyone who dared to look his way as long as he was safe in his arms.

Chapter 22: Parallel (Sean/White - Snake King)

Notes:

Part 21/??

Chapter Text

Black and Sean circled each other, waiting for the opponent's first move. The tension filled the air, and Black was sure even his baby brother could sense it. From the corner of his eye, he caught his brother focusing on their improvised match, his book lying abandoned on his lap. His brother's attention made him even more eager to beat Sean's ass. It should demonstrate to White that he remained the best person to protect him.

Sean took advantage of his distraction and lunged at him. Black barely deflected his attack. Their swords clashed, sending a ringing sound through the air. White squeaked in surprise, but this time, Black didn't let his twin distract him. He pushed Sean's sword away and, with a swift move, he led a parallel attack on him. The guard dog grunted but successfully defended against his sneaky attack. Black's mouth raised in a light smile. The lapdog was good. It had been a while since he had someone with sufficient skills to train with. Occasionally, White would stand before him, holding his own sword, because he had to. Black forced him to train so he could defend himself when it was necessary. But they both knew White wasn't a fighter and Black would never leave him without protection.

Just when Sean shuffled to use another move on Black, a sound of horse hooves echoed through the forest. The match immediately stopped, and Black ran to White, pulling him to his feet, while Sean moved closer towards the sound. His brother didn't have time to react, as he was dragged towards the cottage.

"Stay here and be quiet." Black pushed him inside and closed the door. He made sure White was safely locked in and rushed towards Sean.

Chapter 23: Radar (Ten/Prem) - Heal me with your food

Notes:

Part 45/??

Chapter Text

As Prem stood at the bus stop, he couldn't help but grin. Ten's adorable pouting face lingered in his mind as the bus pulled up in front of him. He stepped on board absentmindedly, lost in thoughts of the handsome doctor. He only snapped out of it when the bus arrived at his stop. With a heavy heart, Prem climbed out of the vehicle and made his way towards his workplace. He wasn't keen to see Changma so soon after the confrontation, but if this was the only way to get off his radar for a while, Prem was determined to go forward with it. Taking a deep breath, he stepped into the building, heading straight ot Changma's office. The glass door with gold letters felt more offensive than ever before. He observed the Chef working on a paper for a while before he knocked. Changma's head snapped up, and his eyes turned towards the door. When he saw Prem, his face brightened. Prem opened the door and walked in, attempting to smile, but to him, it felt more like a grimace.

"Prem, you came." Changma tried to stand up, but Prem gestured for him to stay seated. The table between them served as a barrier, providing Prem with a sense of safety.

"Hello, P'Ma. I brought the papers." With his healthy arm, he reached into his bag, pulling out the folder with the report from the hospital.

"Here." Prem handed the folder to his boss. Changma briefly scanned it before he put it carelessly on the table.

"Thank you. Is your hand better?" He asked.

"More or less. The doctor said I need at least a week of rest, or the blisters and skin will tear again."  Prem answered. His boss nodded in understanding, yet the slight scowl didn't go unnoticed by Prem.
